Yeah. Uh she paid for like the the rental of the two houses. Uh, and then we like everybody brought stuff and every family, each family cooked uh a different night.

Did your grandma mention once during the trip that she paid for it?

Uh yes and no. So the first night we got there was Sunday, and we did like a giant uh family dinner at the uh restaurant of this place. Yeah, she was like, This is the best you guys could do. No, we had our own private room, but like so there's there's probably like close to probably over 20 of us in this room at at least at one table, 20 people. Yeah, and any restaurant would do a prefix menu. If you're saying, hey, we have 20 people, they'd be like, All right, here's the thing, here's what you're gonna get. We're gonna make a specialized menu. Special? Yes, yeah, because like a wedding.

Because if you have the whole menu, everybody orders something different, it's a fucking nightmare. So they don't do that, and we can all just order off the menu. Appetizers, entree, it's all taken care of. All yeah, but we're so we're all ordering different shit. So naturally there's a wait because there's also still a whole other restaurant, right?

As in like this place at a restaurant, we were in our own private restaurants. We had our own room, we had like a board, it looked like a meeting type of place that they this is the only place.

My family, we used to there was a restaurant, we would always have our own room at this restaurant. I know that's a good one.

That's what it was. Also, so like the kids, you know, run around and shit. And uh so it took it took a while to get everybody's entree out at the same time. Yeah. And my grandma was not happy about it, and she uh no longer stops herself from saying anything that she she liked this and I liked it, but she was wrong. Oh in my opinion, she's wrong. She's like, Well, the service was terrible. I mean, these these people don't know what they're doing. They're still walking around like clearing blades, like they don't know what they're doing.

And I'm like, Oh, so they could it was with an earshot.

A hundred percent. Oh, that's a and I'm like, don't you think like they're working hard, like they have all no, and then she goes, I'm not gonna tip them well. And I go, Grandma, you can't do that. She goes, I gotta cut costs somewhere. You gotta make it back. That is a reference. And that's the only reference the whole weekend.

Uh doing a show at an old folks home. Oh something they were saying, and and he referenced a woman that was 85. Oh, I'm 85. My grandmother stood up and said, I'm 85. I want to leave. Yeah.

I think she's like oh yeah, she did. She did say that. But that I she stood up first, and then Adam, I think, doubled down a little, something about like, oh yeah, but you know, they're they're really old and whatever.

But then she's like, Yeah, I want to leave. But then she didn't actually leave. So I don't know if it was her being like it was a little funnier.

I think that was her trying to do like trying to be funny or like I don't think she was actually serious a hundred percent. She definitely felt probably felt something, but she doesn't even know where she is. Like, I don't know why she probably should she know where she is, she's very with it. She listens to this, she thinks we're in the room.

Yeah, right. Did you talk to her about that? So far. No, no, yeah, so far. I hope. Uh I didn't because you know, I don't I don't want her to feel bad. She wasn't trying to do anything wrong, you know. And she didn't do it during my set, so right. That's true. Everyone else doesn't matter. Yeah. On that night, yeah. Yeah. That actually, yeah. If she did it during my set, depending on how it went, I'm wondering if I would have kept it.

The moment she thought that like I felt uh away about it, she would have been like horrified at the thought that she could have potentially ruined, you know, that so you would never hint that that I would know because I know that so she's finding out right now for the first time.

We did, yeah. We splashed around. We were by uh by a lake, and they had all these kinds of like it's a very family place. It's not like a place you can't. That's what you do in Pocahontas. You splash around. Yeah, yeah. Splash around. There was uh uh kayaks and uh paddle boards and uh those little things you sit in in the water and you paddle. Oh, yeah.

I think duckboats duckboats out there. I didn't do it, but other people were doing that. I got yelled at by the uh lifeguard? Yeah, because I uh I took um we took like the two-seater kayak and we went out to like the middle of the lake. And then you were in life, huh? Yeah, yeah, my grandma. And then Jess and I uh did it, and we were life vests, so I thought like, oh, we're good. And I got off the kayak and started to swim. Oh, that should be funny. In the lake. Yeah, like I was swimming, and then a few minutes later I get back, and then there's a boat coming, and I didn't even think, and I'm like, hey, what's up? And I'm like, oh, they're getting close. And then they were like, hey, I know it's hot out, but could you stay inside the That's silly?

And Jess goes, Ooh, you got in trouble while they're still there.

Is this the Delaware gap? The because that I know that connects to it. Uh oh. I was sitting in it and it was um, I remember being there and the water was a little brown. You know?

Um, this was uh pristine. This is yeah, this is a pretty fresh water, cleared like pristine. I guess.

Yeah, pristine. I've been in it. I went me and my buddies went in a some like like a lazy river kind of thing. Um that was quite brown. And someone had just died there earlier. So earlier in the day. Someone went in the water and yeah, uh died. And then they shut off the real fun part of the route because of him. And I remember being uh being like, oh, that sucks. Yeah. For me.

Because it was dangerous they shut it down, or because they he was I think they were still looking for the I don't know.

Oh, they didn't find him? It was a whole thing. I don't remember. But I know it was um it was not good for uh him and his family. Him and his family, and how much fun I could have had. It was a combination of the two things.

I remember going tubing down a river with some people, and uh there was uh like big rapids coming up, and uh I've I think I was the most comfortable in the water of anyone there. Everyone else was you know sticking to their tube. I would like get out of my tube, swim a little bit, catch up with the tube, get back. And uh I saw the rapids coming up, and I think I even got out of my tube and had my girlfriend at the time get out of the tube. I was like, because this is gonna toss us around. And I said it to uh someone uh in the group, there was a little bit of a know it all. I go, Hey, the those rapids are gonna be rough. And she went, I'll be fine. And then the rapid threw her through like like we're you know, like threw her off the not like across yeah, but like off the tube, legs in the air. Whoa, it's like that, yeah, a little bit, and then she like popped up, and I remember being like, That's the best feeling I I could have felt.

I think so in the tube. Yeah, because I'm like it's uh I think I got out of the tube. All I remember was being like prepared for it and not being thrown around.

Going, oh yeah, you know, there's a nice shower here, and here you can rest, have a beer, all this stuff. Cool. And I'm before we even finish the tour, I'm like, and how much do you think this like office is like? You know, we'll talk numbers when we get to the uh end of the thing. I'll show you. And so we get to the uh end of it, and uh, you know, so okay, so here are the numbers, okay? Um if you do it uh uh for a six-month thing, uh we're looking at uh 1560, right? But if you do a year, then we're looking at uh 1440, you know? And then I go, oh that's interesting, because uh on the website I saw it say um 585 a month, right? Around the time that my roommate's cat had a heart attack, I had just covered a lot of the apartment in diatomaceous earth, which is used for in case there were roaches that were coming up, so I was like laying that around. And also I had a bag left over because my ex had a bed bed bug scare, so I sprinkled my room. And then I I was like, oh my god, is this related? Like the cat maybe licked it up and then had a heart attack. Had a heart attack. Um, and I looked on Google and I was like, Yeah, it's directly related. No, I'm kidding. But it was something on my mind. I was like, I'll see how our other cats do it. And our cat's fine, so now I know it's nothing that good. Oh, I'm getting a call. Uh but yes, so uh Benny. Yeah. And also on that note, actually, it's kind of funny because when I first started hanging out with you, uh I know you don't meet a lot of guys like Steven Rogers, right?

So one day all the guys get together and are watching a baseball game. It's like the biggest game ever. It's really important. And a caretaker comes and shuts it off and goes, No, like just being a dick or like no too much noise. And so now they don't get to watch it. But then one of the guys gets up and he goes, and he's rounding the base over to the third, and he's going, and then they all kind of do it and they they uh start screaming, and then they go, and it's home, and then everyone's jumping up and cheering because they're kind of fighting against rebelling against this awful injustice, you know. Something about that was what got me. Because reading the stuff about, oh, he's uh going through this and it's sad, whatever, that didn't get me. But watching that got me. It's because it's the idea of like, hey, uh I'm gonna try. Yeah. Anyways. Fuck you, I'm gonna try anyways. And I when I read it, I didn't really um feel it, but I had to my my uh the head of the theater department assigned it to me to read, or told me to suggest it I read, and then we had a chat reading it, or or talking about it, and then I explained that scene that I really liked, and then I'm explaining it, and then I'm just suddenly bawling, and then I didn't know what to do. I was like, I don't know why this is happening. And he was like, Yeah, I guess. I don't fucking know either.
