Hello, sister. Hello, sister. Welcome to Hello Sister Podcast with Tiff and Ange, episode 19. 19. Can you believe it's been 19 weeks? I can't. I literally cannot believe it has been 19 weeks. It still feels like yesterday. Yes. So much fun. So much fun. Yes. So keep the fun going. Absolutely. Alright, we got a good sh show for you today. We're going to do a lot around social media. Of course, we're going to have a with the Florida. Because Florida loves the Florida.
SPEAKER_02Yes, absolutely.
SPEAKER_01And then we'll end in a sister salute. Yes. You ready to do this thing? Let's do it. Alright. So let's kick it off with uh around the social media. But more importantly, sports fans here. Yeah. Yeah, we're not your average girls. We're not sitting at home doing nothing. Although girls don't do that. I shouldn't say that. Girls don't just do nothing. That's true. Some girls really like sports like we do. We do. Yes. So NBA final. Yes, I'm so excited. And I have a happy household because the Knicks have finally done something and are in the finals. Yes. Knicks against Spurs.
SPEAKER_02I I'm so excited. One, the first thing I thought about is Sean's gonna be super happy. Yes. So I knew that part. Um, but it's been a while. Spike Lee has to be dancing in his seat, in his courtside seat.
SPEAKER_01Um he's gonna be front row no matter if they lose. Right. So he got to be super excited about seeing his Knicks. Yes. Yes. Got any predictions? Well, I don't know. So last time they played each other in the finals was 1999. Okay. And the Spurs uh swept them, I believe, in five games. So they have something to prove this time around, you know, being worthy and being back in the spotlight. They've been killing it. I I'm going for the Knicks. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So I'm gonna go ahead and say the Knicks. Uh just because they're well rested.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, they are well. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02They they swept the Sixers, they swept the Cavs. So they're well rested, ready to play, motivated. Yeah. I say the Knicks in six. Okay. They're not gonna sweep.
SPEAKER_01They're not gonna sweep, man. Or get swept. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um, my boys are super excited. They love Wimby. I don't know if it is just he's young or if he's fun, he's super talented. Yeah. But the boys are, they've got this little rim on the back of one of their closet doors, and all I hear is boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. And Trey said the other day, get that mess up. Oh, get that weak mess up out of here. I love it. They are so excited about the finals, so yeah.
SPEAKER_01I normally don't watch again until the finals. It's too many games, and the games like they they flip who's winning the first three quarters. So I don't watch the games until the fourth quarter. Oh my gosh. And then I get into it, and surely the back half of the season, because it's just way too many games. You gotta watch them all. No, and then you know what? This season, like I got into it because the Knicks were playing. But what was funny to me was I don't know these kids. No, I don't know them. My superstars are retiring and retired. The people we are used to, and of course they are, they're in their 40s and their 50s, so of course they're not still playing, but it just feels so different to watch some of these new kids play. Super excited for them, they're super talented. But I look at the games and I'm like, who were who was that?
SPEAKER_02I know, and like you got players like LeBron in his 40s playing with his son. It's amazing that it's just basketball, it's really great basketball. It is, but I don't recognize him either. I follow Shaq wherever he went, that was my team. Yes, and now that he's retired, just haven't picked a team again. Yeah. I go with the Magic just because it's my local team, but yeah, why not? But we at home. So now it's Nick's Nick's turn. All for New York. And we got a new coach, so come on, Magic!
SPEAKER_01We shall see. Yes. Alright, well, that's what's going on. Stay tuned and we'll see who uh takes it home. Yeah, starting on Wednesday. Yes, so we'll have to celebrate. If they do win, we got a plan to do something fun. Okay, let's do it. Perfect. All right, let's keep this thing going. So, guess what movie is coming out this week?
SPEAKER_00Scary movie! I'm so excited.
SPEAKER_01I'm so excited. I don't know why I'm so excited. It's been many years, and so if you just go back to the silliness, it was so silly.
SPEAKER_02I love it, but I'm excited for it. I am super excited, cannot wait. You know how much I love Marlins, but I cannot wait for this movie.
SPEAKER_01Yes, comes out on Thursday. Our top comedian. Yes.
SPEAKER_02So, are you gonna go to the theater on Thursday or are you gonna wait for the weekend?
SPEAKER_01I don't know. I need Sean to plan a date night. You know, so whatever night he plans is the night that we're going. But this week, I want to see it this week. Yeah, I want to support this week. Opening week for sure. Yes. I can't wait. Scary movie! It's gonna be so fun. And he's coming to Bunny Bone soon. Yes. So he is actually touring from a comedy perspective. So super excited to see him when he comes too.
SPEAKER_02I love it. Cannot wait.
SPEAKER_01Yes, and by him I mean Marlon.
SPEAKER_02Yes, by Marlon, yes.
SPEAKER_01Speaking of Marlon. Oh, I know what you're gonna say. I know, I know. So go ahead and catch a break. Go ahead and say so. First, did you know that he had a one-year-old? I did. A one-year-old? Yeah, what is going on? Yeah, yeah, I judged him a while ago. Oh man. So, yes, he has a one-year-old daughter. And despite receiving $18,000 a month, she says that she is struggling and needs to get more money. So she's allegedly taking legal action to increase her child support. Seeing it, the movie coming out, right?
SPEAKER_02Let me just go back and say he voluntarily gave her $18,000 a month. He was not on papers.
SPEAKER_01Wow.
SPEAKER_02So she wants more than what he's volunteering.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, because this movie is about to come out. It's about to be millions in the bank. Yeah. So if you think about $18,000, that's about over $200, over $200,000. For the average person, that's pretty good. Like that is a significant amount. But in the celebrity world, it's pretty low standard for a millionaire to pay that amount of money. What do you think about that? Is that fair? It's for the child. Let's start there. It's for the child. But to live a celebrity's lifestyle as a child, what do you think about $18,000?
SPEAKER_02So I uh looked at the list of the things that she's asking for. And I think one of them was like $9,000 for food. Come on. So I I made my children's food up until yesterday. I make food, right? And for their baby food, I would make their baby food myself. Like I would blend and I would do everything myself. And not at any point, even going to Whole Foods and Sprouts, and not any point did I spend that much on food. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Well, a one-year-old.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so one, two, all of them in that age range are not eating that much food. Even if you're giving them the best organic food, it doesn't cost that much. Right. And I think she's taking advantage because she wants the child to have the same quality of lifestyle living at both homes. And I can understand that, but you're asking for a lot.
SPEAKER_01For a one-year-old.
SPEAKER_02I mean, I think they're able to get a point where you want to put them at the top schools and well, I would say, you know, um, your child needs security, so they need to go to a private school. So I would say if he's already paying, I'd say pay tuition to the private school and then the voluntary 18,000. So if she was saying that she wants him, the the school money to not come out that total, then I'd be like, okay, cool.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02But she just wants more for the sake of wanting more. And the the totals that she gave and the expenses that she gave don't make good sense. And I if he weren't touring and if he didn't have a busy lifestyle, I would literally tell him, go get custody. Because she wants to profit off of it. I can do it on eight. So what makes you think that you get more than 18? Like you're you're doing too much.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Well, here's my thing. You got to be more careful. Okay, let's start there. Have your fun, but you got to be more careful because this is the expense. You're gonna do the D, you're gonna pay the price. So now you're gonna pay the price. Because how can you defend anything less than a celebrity's amount? So, I mean, I hear you and I agree with you. However, y'all got to learn to do better. Like, how many stories of this do we have to go through? And when you in your good 50s, if you ain't learned, you're gonna pay the price.
SPEAKER_02So he's Jehovah's Witness. Are they like not permitted to get a vasectomy?
SPEAKER_01I don't I don't know any of that. Okay. Because I know they can't do blood. Randoms are $10 at every 7-Eleven.
SPEAKER_02I'm just saying for all of them. Like, why why if you're not gonna wrap it up, why not snip? Oh no, I I totally agree. And and listen, he may be okay with all of this. He hasn't he hasn't spoken out about the child or the child support. Like, I haven't seen any articles of him saying I don't want to pay this. Maybe she's just doing the most without him having a conversation with him. I don't know. The only thing I can tell you is uh listen, come holler at me. I promise you I won't put you on papers. Give me the 18, and we will live a quiet Florida life. And my children go to an arts school, so you know they get automatic enrollment as long as my kids are at the school. Or you can a lot of security there at the school. I live in a gated community, a guard-gated community. Come on, let me know.
SPEAKER_01Or he can we can go see this movie so he can make this money so he can pay the child support. Don't go support this movie. He's gonna need it.
SPEAKER_02Not because it's gonna be funny, but because he needs the child support.
SPEAKER_01Well, I mean, I'm sure he doesn't need the money, but she's going after him, so it a little tip will help him.
SPEAKER_02No, it's the that money is a drop in the bucket for him. I get it, but uh I think she's doing the possible and I will say, and this is a very, very controversial opinion, I don't believe in putting a man on child support who is willing to pay. If he's voluntarily giving you money and it's enough, I don't believe in putting him on papers. Now, if you have a guy who doesn't want to acknowledge your child and you're dealing with a deadbeat daddy and he just won't doesn't want to give you anything after you've proven paternity, yeah, go put him on papers. But I don't believe in putting a man on papers who voluntarily gives you money, that is sufficient. If he's talking about I want to give you a hundred dollars, okay, go go put him on papers. But 18,000, I just I don't believe in that.
SPEAKER_01That's fair. That's ridiculous. No, I think it's fair. I would love for things to be amicable and people to be able to settle things and think about the children as part of this. Like that is what we should all be thinking about. Not trying to take advantage, not trying to get for your support for yourself, but to actually do what's right by your kids. So I can totally see that. So I don't think it's that controversial. I just think people aren't dealing in reality and Sybil, Marlon, call you.
SPEAKER_02I had a baby, and I promise you, 18,000 is enough.
SPEAKER_01Interesting. That would change our dynamics if you had a baby. I don't think I don't think. For 18,000, I got a nanny. Yeah, but you gotta carry the baby. How we gonna brunch? How we gonna brunch better days? My mocktail.
SPEAKER_02You can cocktail a mocktail.
SPEAKER_01Sounds horrible, girl. Then you nah. Let's move on. Meg the stallions back in the news, baby. Yeah, yeah. So Meg just dropped her hot girl summer swimwear and had a runway show.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I saw it, and she is phenomenal. Here's what I got to say. Big flex.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, for sure. She looked phenomenal. She did. And first and first, first and foremost, the swimsuits are amazing. Beautiful. Colors, styles. Yes. Amazing. Amazing.
SPEAKER_02And then she came on out with them thoughts. She hit that thing, and I was like, Big flex. Get it.
SPEAKER_01Yes. I know Clay looking at her now. He can look all he wants to. Yeah. Crazy. She looks phenomenal. So happy for Meg. She swimsuits look great. Phenomenal.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I I'm super happy for her. Her walk was fantastic. You can tell she's working with a coach and she did such a great job on the runway. The swimsuits look great. She looked great. So good. I got a couple more pounds to go. I'm gonna buy me one. Uh ma'am, did you see some of her models?
SPEAKER_01They was thicker than thickest.
SPEAKER_02I I I need to. I need to for my self-esteem. Sure. I got a couple more pounds to go, couple more squats to go, and I'm gonna be in my Meg uh hot girl summer. Yeah, I am. I'm gonna do it.
SPEAKER_01Adorable. I can't wait. Yes. Oh love it. I know. She looks so good. I know. So something else around social media right now is uh Summer House.
SPEAKER_02Do you watch Summer House? I have never watched a single episode of Summer House and watched the reunion.
SPEAKER_01Oh, that was the only thing you watched.
SPEAKER_02That's the only thing I watched was the reunion.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so Summer House is Bravo TV show, group of friends live in New York and they go to the Hamptons. And they've been coming on for multiple seasons now.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah. So this season is a hot diggity mess.
SPEAKER_00Yes.
SPEAKER_01Let's talk a little bit about Sierra. Yes. Alright, so Sierra is one of the characters, beautiful black woman on the show. Weird mix of friends, but she's on the show. But anyway, I won't, I'll leave it there. So Sierra is one of the cast members, and there's a gentleman named West on the show. West chased Sierra down, gets her, doesn't want to commit. Messy. They break up. It kind of is what it is. And they're two castmates on the show. Then there's two other castmates, Amanda and Kyle. They end up getting married and divorced. Messy. And uh still on the show, ups and downs, you know, just a mess. Kyle and West are friends. Amanda and Sierra are friends.
SPEAKER_02Are they though?
SPEAKER_01Well, to that point, you said you've been watching the reunion. Yeah. I think it. So now Amanda and West are dating. Uh-huh. Amanda, who is friends with Sierra, uh-huh, who she's confided in, uh-huh, who she's vented to. And knows all the things that he does. Yeah. She knows the T about them, been with them, right? So you know that they've been together. And she knows all the dirt on him. And they are now dating. Kyle and West were friends.
SPEAKER_02Were they though?
SPEAKER_01I mean, one would think. And you're dating his ex-wife. A mess. Hot mess. Bravo is messy.
SPEAKER_02Oh, that's the way Andy Cohen created it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Well, it is a mess. Yeah. So, what do you think about this? So, if I think about all of this, I've I've always had questions around all the people in the world, all the men, all the women. Why do we date in our circle?
SPEAKER_02Uh, I think it's just a matter of convenience. A mess. It's a matter of convenience. It can't be anything other than convenience that I have proximity to you. I already know you already like you as a person. So it's the easiest thing to do is to go after you.
SPEAKER_01That's a mess. And then you know you have to be sneaking around at one point before. Like, if you gotta sneak around and maneuver, like that's what you really want to do.
SPEAKER_02I I don't I don't understand it. I mean, I can see how you can be attracted to somebody once you get to know them, even though they're friend of a friend. I get it. It's just on principle, you just shouldn't do it.
SPEAKER_01It's a mess. And make for good TV. Oh, made for good TV. That reunion was something.
SPEAKER_02And can I just say Sierra looked fantastic? Oh, yes, ma'am.
SPEAKER_01This is not a raggedy woman. She ain't come to play no games in that outfit. She is fabulous. Not just the outfit, just in general. Looks, body, personality. Like she shows up.
SPEAKER_02And yeah, and still. And then she showed out at that reunion. She she ate and left no crumbs. No crumbs. More mad at it. No, I wasn't. I'd be the same way. She did very classy, but uh I'd have been a mess. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Well, it is a mess. So speaking of mess and dating friends in circles, so Gail King is on Alex Cooper's podcast, and she talked about walking in with um on her husband, ex-husband, and a friend. So she's on the podcast and she's talking about like pivotal points in her life and being cheated on by her husband and getting a divorce is one of them. So she was flying out of town with her kids, flight gets canceled. You know, she drove herself to the airport, so she drove herself on home. Gets home, husband has the alarm on, which is odd to her because you know he's a big man by himself. So husband has the alarm on, he comes to the door and says, Hey, you can't come in. Excuse me, and she's like, I can't come in. I'm coming in. Comes into the house and she immediately, oh, he says someone is there. So she's like, Oh, he admitted somebody. He said somebody was there. So she goes into the house and is looking around, and hidden behind one of the doors is her friend. The hut who is married. Her married friend is there in her towel, naked, and she she described the towel as luxury towel, too. So she in her good towel, naked, with her husband, and she's supposed to be out of town with the kids. He couldn't even wait till her flight took off. The flight didn't even take off, child. And the girl was already at the house. They was gonna have him a good old weekend. A good old weekend. And he knew to put the alarm on for some reason. Was that a warning? Uh a mess. So she is devastated because, of course, here's her husband. And she said that she had no clue that it had gotten that bad that he was actually cheating. Yeah. She was totally blindsided by that.
SPEAKER_02And so my thing is I would have been completely blindsided too. Because I would trust everything that you tell me. What why would I have any reason not to?
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And you come, I come home and you tell me I can't come. You tell me I can't come in my house? Yeah, that would have been a problem. Nah. Yeah. Nah. So she says I'm busting in and busting up. Everybody.
SPEAKER_01Kicked in. Yeah. Ciao. Yeah. So so what's funny is uh hindsight's always 20-20. So she goes back to different things that have happened and memories of things that you know caught her attention, but she didn't think twice about it because she didn't have a reason to, and there were little signs and things. So she calls her best friend after this happens, who was Oprah. Oh, called Oprah. Okay. And Oprah tells her to call that husband. So she calls the husband and the wife had already gotten to the husband. Already got to the husband and has said to him, Um, she's gonna call you. She's delusional, she's misrepresenting something that happened. I just want to warn you that this is gonna happen. So the the husband says, Hey, she told me that this was gonna happen, and you're wrong. And he's she says, Okay, I'm wrong. Does she have these green panties and these this pink top? Because that's what she was in my house with. Uh and so if she has that, then I'm I saw her underclothes. Yes, and so she, you know, says, screw him and keeps it pushing, but I know she had to be. But what I love is Oprah.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02She's a called man. Call that man. Oprah Bethy too.
SPEAKER_01Call that man. Yeah, you should call him. What do you call? I don't know. I actually don't know. These days I'm in such an effid mood that I don't know. Probably. Call me. Well, I would definitely call you. Yeah. There's no question that I would call you. Call me. But I don't know. I don't know. I mean, I guess, yeah, because petty would be petty. But I don't know. So here's here's uh icing on the cake. T and Z caught up with the ex-husband and he apologized for the situation and acknowledged the situation. And you know, Gail pretty much says she was shocked that he even acknowledged it, but it's been a long time. They both healed, they both are doing well. Um, but the fact that it's resurfacing all these years later has gotten a little bit of attention. So rather than festering and going wild or doing anything crazy, you know, he pretty much just acknowledged it and apologized for it.
SPEAKER_02Well, that's very mature of him after the fact, right? Well, I appreciate the acknowledgement, but I mean, this is this is years later. If you are a cheater, you got to go by some kind of code. Like never at the house, you know, make sure that you have an airtight alibi. You pay for privacy. Yeah. Okay. And you pay the price when you don't. Pay for the privacy. All these working girls out here, and you're not gonna pay for the for the silence, pay for the privacy. You out here with her friend? Yes, who's married?
SPEAKER_01Her married friend. And your friends with the husband.
SPEAKER_02So you just ruined two relationships. Yeah. She she couldn't have been that good.
SPEAKER_01Uh uh convenience, you talked about it earlier. Well, speaking of privacy, I got another one. More? Oh man, this one is even juicier. Whoo! All right, you ready for this? I guess. So an Atlanta federal judge was reprimanded for having loud sex with a high-ranking police chief in her chambers during business hours at work. In her black. When I heard the story, I was like, wow, that's wild. It's Atlanta. She showed the picture, and I was like, seriously, dude. It's Atlanta. Oh man. So both are married. Yep. And they're all connected through work. So these are not strangers. Again, they know each other. Married couples know each other, worked in the same circles. Just silly. That's wild. Yeah. So so here's how it came to light. A complaint was issued by a court clerk. One of them had audio video of one of the instances. They said that there was at least five times. No! Yes, it was loud. In her chambers. In her chambers. So, you know, you think about the walls of a room. Nobody's walls are great. Nobody. Like nobody works in an office where your walls are just perfect. So, very loud. It was a running joke with some of them during business hours. And so, yeah. So, she only got reprimanded because she's a federal judge. Uh, lifetime appointment. Like, I think you have to go to Congress to unventure. So, she only got reprimanded, and we'll see what happens in him.
SPEAKER_02Again, you pay for privacy as many hotels as there are. Yeah, you could have met him at your lunch hour.
SPEAKER_01Literally. A mess. A mess. So it really just makes me think, right? All of these different situations, all of these needs for fulfillment, you're starting to see more of these unconventional marriages.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And some of them are just men cheating, some of them are or women cheating, some of them are open marriages, some of them are like these sister wives or brother husband situations. But there was a TikToker on TMZ, uh Carla Houston, and she had shared how her husband, uh, she told her husband pretty much that she was attracted to women. So she's married, he's a man, she's a woman, and she's attracted to women. And they started an open relationship where they set some boundaries and now they're called monopoly relationship, and she says it works for her. So as you think about all these different situations, and I think people really striving for fulfillment, unconventional marriages is something that a lot of people not say a lot, but people are actually thinking about it. I mean, like we know people, we know people who have been cheated on, we know people in open marriages right now, literally right now. Yeah. What do you think about an unconventional marriage? Like, why why not why just not get married? What do you think?
SPEAKER_02Um, I'm I'm not the one to judge anybody's bedroom.
SPEAKER_01No, of course.
SPEAKER_02Uh do what you want to do. It's for specifically for the TikToker, she came out as bisexual and she's attracted to women as well as her husband. That is a need that he cannot fulfill for her. Right. And so if he chooses to allow her to explore that side of her, then that's his choice. Um and it's hard because she didn't tell him that until after they were married. Yeah, she didn't know. She never gave him the choice before they got married to say, yeah, that's not something I'm into, let's not get married. And I think that situation warrants a conversation, and he is choosing to allow that to happen. So that's his choice. And I don't knock that choice because if your marriage is still good and you are still happy with that person, and that is something that doesn't affect your day-to-day life, and you're okay with that, I'm okay with that too. Uh, I personally um would not be okay if the man that I marry says, I want to explore my sexuality with other men. Um that to me uh is probably one of the things I'd say no, thank you. Yeah, and I'd let him go explore. We could be friends, but I just I personally wouldn't want to stay together if that's the situation. Um but I'd I you do what you want to do. Like I said, if if you've heard me say this several times, cheating is not a deal breaker to me, as long as you're honest, right? So he she was honest with her husband, and he was okay, he was okay with it. She gave him the choice, they set their boundaries, that's what they choose to do. Yeah, and I know a lot of men gonna come in the comments and call him a simp and call him all that man and that woman are happy. Mind your business, okay? However, don't do it in your relationship. If that's not something you would like, don't do it in your relationship. Same thing when I said it's okay to booty shake dance on another man, and everybody was like, Oh, she's a ho, rah-rah. Oh, oh no, okay, cool. Uh, but the man that I'm with would hopefully be okay with that just the same way I'm okay with the woman dancing on him. Uh, this conversation comes up a lot between the two of us, and we we used to live in Miami. Yeah, and so the strip club was a Saturday night for us. That wasn't a big deal. So to see my husband get a lap dance didn't bother me not one bit. He came home to me and we had our own sessions, but it wasn't a big deal because that was something that we shared together. A lot of men go to the strip club on their own without their women and they do worse.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, right?
SPEAKER_02So it's behind the woman's back. If you are honest in your relationship and y'all are okay with it, what happens between y'all two? That's between y'all two.
SPEAKER_01I'm not gonna judge. You already know how I feel. Like, don't get married differently. Yeah, yeah. I I wholeheartedly believe in monogamous relationships, and if you don't want to be married, it's okay. Yeah, but I don't believe in opening it up. I just think about the emotional connection, the financial connection, the physical safety and security of your body connection and being out there. It's just that's not something that that I would play with. I believe in personal fulfillment, but not to the point of selfishness, which is in my opinion, there's selfishness there that physically you have to go out and be with other people. Yeah, then go do that. There's nothing wrong with that, just don't be married. No, again, for me, yeah. To your point, if you find a partner who is open to that, then by all means do you. But in me, in my house, yeah, we're gonna praise the Lord and be monogamous.
SPEAKER_02And you've had a beautiful 15-year marriage, and I love that for you and Sean. I also think about uh Gail King's situation, how she was blindsided, right? And so Sean doesn't give off any kind of indication that he's doing anything wrong. He goes on fishing trips, yeah, he goes on work trips, he goes to visit his mom out of state. Yeah, uh, he is gone an appropriate amount. Yeah. And do you ever have any indication that something may be going on behind your back?
SPEAKER_01No, because he's never given me any indication to believe that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02If he popped up with I would be blindsided.
SPEAKER_01You'd be blindsided.
SPEAKER_00And then I'm out of here.
SPEAKER_01Because I don't believe in what you just said. I don't believe in it's a one-time deal. You moved on. I just in my good 40s, well, I still got some goodness in me.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. You're gonna keep it moving.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna keep it pushing. That's just me.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah. And so after he gets up from being knocked out, um, we just go and we go move his stuff up out of here. No, he can have the house. He can have the house? Absolutely. Wait a minute.
SPEAKER_01I'm going to somebody's beach apartment.
SPEAKER_02You're gonna go to a penthouse. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, yeah. He can't have the house.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. First of all, let's not be in this situation. Let's not be in the house. I don't even want it to be even more hypothetical. We need to move on from this. But I do find it interesting that people um do consider these unconventional marriages now, and it is literally because of personal fulfillment, and just saying, why do we have to do things so standard and they believe in what they believe in? Yeah. And trying something different.
SPEAKER_02I I don't know. I do believe that I I would want to be in a monogamous marriage. Yes. I wouldn't get married if I didn't, if the two of us could not come to the agreement that that was the final step for us. Right. But also, once we're in the marriage, if you change your mind, you have to give me an option to change mind too. You can't go sneaking around and and having somebody in my house. There got to be some rules. Somebody tell me the rules uh of cheating, because these guys are not getting it right.
SPEAKER_01No, they're not even making smart decisions. Not just the guys, but the women the women are the friends. Yeah, yeah. They're just as bad. Now their allegiance, my allegiance is to my husband, his allegiance is to me. So that's number one. Then comes the friends. Correct. So after I beat her, oh, then I'm gonna have a conversation with him. After we beat her, thank you, thank you.
SPEAKER_02Okay, yeah, then hello, sister, not playing with you. Now, I I just I feel like communication is so important, like you just have to tell me what your intentions are, yeah, and that way we could both make an informed decision. And you brought up a great point. If you are out here being unsafe with your body and you come home to me, yeah, how dare you? Oh, that's and don't come home with the child.
SPEAKER_01That's the ultimate pressure deal breaker.
SPEAKER_02That is, that is. If you could if you told me that that's what you wanted to do and you want to be out there in in Dilly Dally, we set up the boundaries. You need to wrap it up. Don't embarrass me and don't come home with any children. Yeah, see, that's crazy.
SPEAKER_01Don't do either.
SPEAKER_02But that's that's a conversation, but I don't plan on that type of relationship, but I am an open-minded person that if that's the direction we're going in, you have to tell me so that we can both make the decision if we're gonna move forward in that direction. Now, my answer can be no. Right. But um I just have to be I have to be in the situation and then I have to figure out what I want in that moment. Um and in your financial study's got a lot to do now, do you?
SPEAKER_01Marlin.
SPEAKER_02Come on, Marlon. Go go be on the road. I got the kid. Let's move on. Yes, let's move on. Yes. Well, I appreciate the conversations about unconventional marriages.
SPEAKER_01I'm done with this conversation.
SPEAKER_02I do appreciate the conversation uh about all of the wild that's happening in Florida because Meg's uh swimsuit line debuted in Miami swim week. However, Miami and South Florida's hot for another reason.
SPEAKER_01How fun. What the Florida?
SPEAKER_02It's time for what the Florida.
SPEAKER_01Of course it is.
SPEAKER_02And this one is courtesy of Palm Beach County.
SPEAKER_01Oh, not Tampa.
SPEAKER_02So I'm gonna read this so you can hear it the way that I read it. All right, give it to me. Palm Beach County dismisses ticket for a woman accused of texting while driving without a right hand. Kathleen Thomas was driving in Lake Worth, Florida when she was pulled over by a deputy from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. The deputy said he saw her phone in her right hand. After confirming what he said, Thomas revealed her right arm stops at the elbow. Seriously. Thomas said she thought it was just a misunderstanding, but despite the impossibility of Thomas using her phone with her right hand while driving, the deputy still ultimately wrote her the ticket. Who's surprised? Nobody. So this is Palm Beach County, and Florida. What's amazing to me is in the video, she goes, so can we just call it a day? And he seriously stuck to his guns. Gave her a ticket for over a hundred dollars and expected to her to either pay it or appear in court.
SPEAKER_01See, these are the things from a credibility perspective. That part that make you not trust the police. Seriously. You did not see it. And it's okay to say I made a mistake. I thought I saw it. I didn't. Please go about your business. I apologize for the rest of your day. Have a good day.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And then uh they didn't dismiss it until after the body cam footage was released. Oh, of course. And she put it on the internet.
SPEAKER_01Good for you.
SPEAKER_02I would have released his name, his picture. Oh no, Palm Beach will not release his name. She knows the name because it's on the ticket. Oh, well, she does. Maybe she could have released it. Still. Uh, I just find it so amazing. You can't even admit that you're wrong. Yes. You were wrong. My bad. It was he kept saying it in her right hand, and he was like, he was trying to walk it back like, Well, I saw it in your hand. Right hand, left hand. And then people tell her, hand to God. He did not. So she lifts her right hand and was like, hand of God. He was like, other hand. Uh-uh. And she was like, hand to God. I did not, I was not texting. And he still was like, give me your license, registration, and proof of insurance.
SPEAKER_01That's it.
SPEAKER_02Gave her a ticket. And she was expected to either pay it or appear in court. She appeared in court, right? No, they dismissed it. She didn't have to appear in court because they dismissed it, knowing they were supposed to get embarrassed by the judge. It's a mess. It is crazy to me. What the Florida? But I'm not surprised. Listen, when this came out, hand of God. When this came out, I ran to her profile to see if this was Florida, because I was like, please, what the Florida. Florida.
SPEAKER_01Please be Florida. And of course it was Florida because Florida be Florida. What the Florida. That is absolutely insane. And I'm not surprised.
SPEAKER_02What the Florida? The Florida. It's so crazy to me. So I I just I try my best not to come up with a wild story in Florida. And and Florida's undefeated.
SPEAKER_01It's undefeated every single time. Yeah. So Kev on stage, not to switch the subject too much, but Kev on stage was uh in Florida and he was talking about the Florida heat. So I'm like, you think this is hot? We didn't even got good in the summer yet.
SPEAKER_00No.
SPEAKER_01And he was talking about how he was just drenched just from being in Florida and being outside. Because Florida be floatering whether you're doing anything or not.
SPEAKER_02This is hotter than normal. This is hotter than normal. El Nino year. Yes. So it's gonna be hotter than normal and it's gonna be colder than normal. Yeah. And the hurricane season may be unpredictable. Right. So I get it. We were at Roley's graduation celebration on Saturday. The whole kindergarten had uh the celebration of the park. I was burning up.
SPEAKER_01You were like, no pictures, please.
SPEAKER_02I take but two pictures, and that's because one of the moms was like, take a picture, take a picture. I was like, okay. But on my phone, on Tip's phone? No, nail picture.
SPEAKER_01It was how I was melting. Yes, that's the other part of Florida. Florida be floatering with the activity and Florida be melting you with the the weather.
SPEAKER_02So my neck is the sweat. So I look like I look wild when I sweat. And it was it was bad. But Florida be floatering. Florida be floating. Well, I tell I'll tell you, we can uh always be refreshed by a crisp drink.
SPEAKER_01Yes, please. And it's about that time.
SPEAKER_02It is, it is. Uh so my drink of today, I got uh this on my birthday, thanks to Paige. Uh she bought me this bottle, said it was one of her favorites, and we are trying this for the first time together. I'm so excited. So, this is the Santa Margarita Pinot Grigio. I've never had it before. I am not a super fan of white wines, but when Paige said it was her favorite, girls never steered me wrong before. So fingers crossed, it never happened. So we shall see. Our Santa Margarita uh Pinot Grigio. Cheers. Cheers. And this is supposed to be chilled, so we did chill it.
SPEAKER_01Page did not lie. That was excellent.
SPEAKER_02It's not bad.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean you're not a huge fan of white, but I'm not sure. I'm not.
SPEAKER_02I'm not a huge fan of white, but I actually like it. I like it. Yeah, it's not bad. Um I need to swish. You should. Swish, wish, wish, swirl. Smell. No! This this is why we don't let you drink. Just just drink it. Just just just drink it. Can't take me nowhere. Yeah. I like it. Thank you, Pai. Thank you, Pai. So my sister's salute today is to a person who, if you haven't seen him, you have to go see the New York Turk. I've watched him on Instagram. That's where I found him. He may be in other places, but I watched him on Instagram. I think he's on TikTok too. Um, but I love him. He's a cab driver and he goes on these solo dining trips to Michelin star restaurants, and I think it's absolutely fabulous. I love that he does that. And he spends money and he tips very well. As a cab driver, I'm sure he knows and understands tips are important to service workers, right? But my salute to him is for his new series. He is actually going to mom and pop restaurants, some of them struggling, and highlighting some of the foods on their menus. And then he'll go back a couple of weeks later, and the places are overwhelmed with customers. And my salute to him is because he is using his platform for good. Yeah. And a lot of times people don't they get the fame, they get the followers, and they don't do anything to give back. And the fact that he cares enough about his cities, the well, tribe state area, and he cares about the community and the people in it, it warms my heart when I see these.
SPEAKER_01He is a cutie.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but I love that he's trying these restaurants and he's trying foods that we would never think to try, and he's rating them honestly. I don't think I've ever seen uh any video where he just completely tanked the restaurant, and I think that's on purpose. If he doesn't like it, why shut down their business? You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01They're already struggling. So if you think about this economy. It's already tough to make it. I can only imagine the rent in New York. Right. And he highlights these businesses and they go back and they're doing well. Like, come on.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. That is a great solid system. That's great. And he walks around with these meta glasses and he puts on these disguises when he goes to the mom and pop. These disguises are terrible. His wigs are awful. He needs to come holler at black girl to get his wigs together. So come come holl at us. Come get the sisters. So we can help you with your wig game. But he is just fantastic in the way that he supports the people in the community. And he's having fun. I love it. Eating some great food. Yes. I hope he's working out because he needs to the walk to these restaurants. Yeah. So I really do salute you. Thank you for the work that you do in the community. New York Turkey.
SPEAKER_00Cheers to you. Cheers. Cling, cling, clink.
SPEAKER_02We're following. Yes.
SPEAKER_01Can't wait to see what's next.
SPEAKER_02Yes, absolutely. And this is the end of our episode. Just like that. So fast. Well, to all of our sisters out there, to the sister who dared, to the sister who cared, to the sister who said yes to herself. We see you, we celebrate you, and we salute you.
SPEAKER_00Cheers.
SPEAKER_01Thank you, Paige. Yes. Thank you, Paige. That's a rap sister. I'm going to be a little bit.
SPEAKER_02Love you, sister. Love you, sister.
