Hello Sister Podcast with Tiff & Aunge - Episode 20

NY Fans Are Unhinged, 50 Cent Is Wildin’, Costco Tequila Crimes & Step‑Parent Titles.

Episode 20 is here, and we are back with another round of chaos, culture, comedy, and the kind of commentary only Tiff & Aunge can deliver.

The internet is on fire this week, and we are fanning the flames.

Knicks Up 2–0 & NY Is Acting a Fool

New York fans are outside yelling, climbing light poles, and acting like they personally hit the game‑winning shot. Tiff says it’s passion. Aunge says it’s delusion. Both are correct.

50 Cent Baby Mama Drama

50 Cent called his BM a hoe on Beyoncé’s internet, and the collective gasp could be heard from space. We break down the drama, the disrespect, and the way 50 always finds a way to trend before noon.

Cassie Leaves the Country

Cassie said “new passport, new peace” and dipped. With the Diddy saga still unfolding, the sisters unpack what it means to choose safety, silence, and sanity over celebrity chaos.

KevOnStage Secures the Bag (and the Bags for Thousands)

Kev’s multi‑deal with Tubi is bigger than a win, it’s a pipeline for Black creatives, production crews, and storytellers. We give him his flowers and a standing ovation.

Is It OK for Kids to Call a Stepparent Mom or Dad?

Whew. The internet has OPINIONS. Some say it’s love. Some say it’s disrespect. Some say it’s situational. We dive into the emotional layers, the blended‑family dynamics, and the cultural expectations that make this question way deeper than people admit.

What the Florida?!

A Florida woman was arrested for pretending to be a Costco employee and serving unauthorized tequila shots in 2oz sample cups. Not stolen TVs. Not fake memberships. Tequila shots. Florida continues to Florida, and we are exhausted.

Sister Salute: Shay Taylor Allen

From janitor to medical resident at Yale New Haven Hospital, Shay’s story is the kind of Black excellence that deserves a parade. We honor her resilience, brilliance, and the reminder that purpose doesn’t expire.

If you want laughs, insight, mess, motivation, and a little tequila‑flavored chaos, tune in from start to finish. You don’t want to miss a single moment.

SPEAKER_01

Hello, sister. Hello, sister. Welcome to Hello Sister Podcast with Tiffany Ange, episode 20. 20. Big two. Oh. We're rolling. Yes. How are you? I'm good. I'm tired.

SPEAKER_00

I know.

SPEAKER_01

I know.

SPEAKER_00

Life is life in right now, ain't it? It is. The kids are out of school for the summer. Yes. And it'd be like that sometimes.

SPEAKER_01

It does.

SPEAKER_00

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Well, hopefully we'll make up some time because we got some really fun things planned. Yes. In June in particular.

SPEAKER_00

This all today's episode woke me up. Oh, it's gonna be a woke for sure.

SPEAKER_01

Yes. So we have a little bit of around the social media world that I'll lead. We have a question about parenting that you'll lead. Of course, uh, what the Florida, because Florida be floatering. Yeah. And then we'll end in a beautiful sister salute.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

You ready to do this thing? Let's do it. Let's get into it. So around social media. Diddy is in jail.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But you would never know it because he has stayed in people's minds, hearts, and social media since the day the trial started. Yes. Before. Before the trial even started. It has gotten out of out of hand. Yeah. So I'm scrolling through social media. Pop up on 50 Cent. And if you don't know, 50 Cent shares a child with the model, influencer, actress, uh Daphne Joy. And Daphne has made a little bit of a headlines recently of a video that's been released of her and another gentleman, and of course, Diddy doing his Diddy thing. So 50 talks initially about how it's an embarrassment to his child. They're the ones that have to go to school and hear about their mom. But then 50 starts trolling, which 50 is 50. So what do you expect? Yeah. So 50's trolling, and in normal 50 fashion, he was on a panel and he was talking about the whole situation. And when I tell you he went off, he said, you know, there are women out there who are being taken advantage of, and Diddy took advantage of lots of people. And pretty much his baby mama won't in. Sometimes they're just hoes, and she a hoe. When I tell you the crowd was like, no, no, you can hear the reaction here.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, the crowd reaction. I don't know what he was expecting, but it felt like a female heavy crowd.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know. I heard some men in there, like, come on now, come on.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Well, I I don't I don't think he got the reaction he wanted. No, he didn't for a laugh. And there was no laughing, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And Daphne's not laughing either because she is now taking out a lawsuit against him for defamation. She says that he's gone too far. A lot of stuff isn't true. And in true Diddy fashion, um, or 50 fashion, he is not letting it go. So now he has a lawsuit against him, and we're still talking about Diddy somehow or another.

SPEAKER_00

And he has the right to feel how he feels. Yeah. If he feels like she a hoe, then that's his feeling. Yeah. But now you just contradicted yourself. So you said you're concerned about the what the children will see. Right. But the the children will see you calling their mom a hoe and what actions you call ho actions. So now both of y'all wrong. Now the internet is forever.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. It's totally messy. It's already hard to co-parent in general. It is thinking about the kid, being a celebrity and mess that happens. I'm sure it doesn't make it any easier, but they're not really helping themselves in this case.

SPEAKER_00

And that's one of the reasons why you'll never catch me talking about my ex. For little clips like this. It he may have said a whole lot, and only this got clipped. Right. So I you won't catch me saying anything about my ex other than it just didn't work out.

SPEAKER_01

Yep.

SPEAKER_00

Because you're not gonna catch me, and my kids will never catch me bad mouthing their dad.

SPEAKER_01

No, there's not a reason to. Come on, come on, 50. 50 be 50. So speaking of exes, did you hear about Cassie? I did. Yeah. I'm so shocked. I'm I'm not. Really? I'm not. So if you don't know, Cassie Ventura has officially moved out of the country. She has had it with y'all. Y'all social media, y'all talking about her her videos, everything. She has had it with y'all. So she has left the country with no intentions of coming back if she doesn't have to. Wow. Pretty much seeking safety, privacy, healing, and protecting her family. So where'd she go? You know, I don't know actually where she went. I don't. We'll have to find that out. She probably didn't tell anybody. Maybe. I mean, she's sitting on 30 million right now. She got a $20 million settlement from Diddy and $10 million from the Intercontinental LA Hotel with that whole video footage.

SPEAKER_00

And they you you gotta pay for what you did to her. Oh well Not only did you not report it to the police, you gonna put her video out there for the internet to see. Was it worth $10 million?

SPEAKER_01

I don't know how that video got out there, but 10 million wasn't enough. No, you think she should have got more? Yeah, I do. It was horrific. And if they knew that that happened, staying out of it wasn't the right thing. No, you're right, you're right.

SPEAKER_00

So she got 30 million and she hit the road for 30 million. Yeah. She's about to go live like a queen somewhere.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I'd be all a Bimbali living off in 10 cent tacos and tree swings and everything. Everything have one in your backyard. All the things you can imagine, I'd be all all over there.

SPEAKER_00

I would, I would. You know, I'm not mad at her. I've been thinking about leaving the US too, so I'm I'm not mad at her. Hallelujah. I just I hate that she feels like she has to. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but I mean this isn't over. Anything that's associated with that case is coming out at this point. So even if you think that your part is done with and over, everything just keeps coming full circle because we're not done hearing about the extensive amount of crap that Diddy did. Yeah. So it it's probably gonna be years before you know things start to settle down. Like we're literally just now barely talking about R. Kelly. Think about that.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's true.

SPEAKER_01

So with Diddy, who is way more massive with way more people who are known, it's gonna take some time. Yeah, you're right. Yeah, you're right. Good luck, Cassie. Yeah. Speaking of good luck. Okay. Yes, let's change the subject altogether. All right. Done with done with Diddy. Uh-huh. But not done with New York. Oh, not done with New York. Yeah. So a girl sports fan. Yes. Nick's up right now. They're up 2-0 right now. Yep. Game coming up, so probably by the time this airs, there'll be another game. But nonetheless, they're still winning.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. And what's so crazy is both of those games could have gone either way.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

So I have just enjoyed really good basketball. It has been wild. You know, one of the things that we complain about here in Orlando is the coach not making adjustments. And you could tell New York and San Antonio have made the adjustments that they have to make in the games. It has all come down to some really good basketball, really good coaching. I have had a time, a time.

SPEAKER_01

How about those fans though?

unknown

New York.

SPEAKER_01

New York is a jungle to begin with. I love it. The people are fantastic. To me, nobody has more heart than New York people. I agree. In general. So the people watching is incredible. The fans are showing up and showing out. Did you see Spider-Man?

SPEAKER_00

Spider-Man, he's dancing, he's being crowd passed. Hello. Come on, Spider-Man.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, this is New York. Celebrities are out in full fashion. Yes. Yes. And the ticket prices for the roof are like $15,000. Come on, man. And people are paying them. It's packed. It's wild.

SPEAKER_00

I'm not paying no $15,000 to sit in the roof. You know how like for football is unmatched. Yeah, but you know how for football every seat can be a good seat.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

It ain't like that in Madison Square.

SPEAKER_01

You are an aunt in uh a mile hot pal at those stadiums.

SPEAKER_00

Not no 15,000. I'm gonna watch it on TV. Well, they're probably watching on the Jumbo Tron anyway. I ain't paying them prices.

SPEAKER_01

You wanna hear something funny? I'm afraid. Yes. So I'm at church today, and Pastor has a guest preacher from today, and he's a pastor out of Atlanta. So he's preaching, and you know, I guess I guess we won't give it to him the way that he he wanted to. So he was like, How many Knicks fans we got in here? And you know, people cheer because of course it's Florida, so half the people are from North or enjoy North sports. Yeah. And so he says, uh, I need y'all to stand up and praise the Lord like the Knicks are playing. Like the Knicks are winning. When I tell you these people jump up with excitement, now it doesn't take much to make us jump up anyway. Right. But the fact that he equated it to Knicks fans just blew my mind. And of course, here goes Sean. Yeah. Yelling.

SPEAKER_00

I know Sean is super happy.

SPEAKER_01

He is, he is. I love a happy man. So Nick's, y'all take this thing home and you never know what may happen for me. Ew! I didn't even say that. I'm just saying a happy man. Happy man, happy wife, happy life. Ew.

SPEAKER_00

No, I I I love it. I'm so excited. More good basketball to come. Yeah. I really hope San Antonio will do something in these next couple of games to extend this series. I don't want them to get swept. Yeah. It's just I I think they're putting too much pressure on Wemby. He is young and inexperienced in the playoffs. He's a fantastic player. I take nothing away from him. But they're putting too much pressure on him. And to be that young and that talented, I don't think he's ready. But he may surprise us. But they tired. They've had two very hard-fought series, and now they're in the championship. Get some rest, stay healthy, maybe next year.

SPEAKER_01

Definitely next year. But this is a good experience for him, and he has a long career to go. Absolutely. Speaking of exciting. What else is exciting? So, changing the subject again. You know, I have a love-hate relationship with Tubi. I love Tubi. It is my okay, what am I gonna watch? Let me see what's popping on Tubi. I don't know what it is about Tubi, the craziness in it, but I love it. And I have a cousins chat with Sean's cousins, and we literally send each other different video clips of stupid craziness stuff that happens on Tubi. Yeah, we just love it, right? But while I'm excited is I mentioned my top five comedians, and one of them was an honorable mention, which was Kev on Stage. Yeah, girl, I am so happy for Kev on Stage. What's up? So he just got a multi, you hear me, multi-project partnership deal with Tubi. Really? Yes. He gets to produce original scripted series, a comedy special, reality style content, and projects featuring other black creators. Wow. All in one big major deal. That's incredible. It is incredible. I am so incredibly excited for him. As you think about most creators, right? You work hard. Yeah. And a lot of them do have some success. But this is life-changing. One, he's a black independent creator. He's able to do his own content. It's going to be on a huge platform. Absolutely. And it really starts to open up space for us to maybe move away from dependency on the Hollywood big bucket and budgets that are hard to come by and look at other means for creativity and truly being successful. So definitely have to shout him out because this platform is an amazing platform with lots of potential. It's free. Okay, start there. And so not only successful for him, but for the people who are going to be a part of his project. And if it's a multi-project, those are potentially hundreds of people in some capacity on screen or behind screen who are being put on because of Kev on stage.

SPEAKER_00

I love that. I think he has such a great platform. I watch uh him on Instagram and the shorts of the long form content, and it's so funny. I wish I had time to sit down and just watch all of the things that he has going on. But I watched the short form of it, and it's so funny and well scripted. It's hilarious. And I think he's doing great things. But the fact that he has this platform that puts thousands of people to work, you know, a set has so many people on it at one time, and now he has multiple projects that'll be rolling, that means thousands of people potentially could be put to work. And in the industry where they're trying to use AI as much as possible, he's actually going to have humans in the spotlight. I love that.

SPEAKER_01

And it's a major moment for our culture. Anything where we can win, like right now, where so many things are hard to come by and people are struggling to just be seen. What a major move for our guy. Yeah. And to me, he is our guy. Like he feels like my neighbor, my homeboy. Yeah. Like he doesn't feel untouchable. Denzel is untouchable. Michael B. Jordan is untouchable. Like those people are earned their accolades and everything that comes from it. But he is like my neighbor, my homeboy, my church member, and my brother down the street, and he's doing it. So it just really shows a lot of hope that if you work hard, you have good concepts, you can do almost anything.

SPEAKER_00

I want to say he came to a church and did comedy at a church that we attended a long time ago, but hilarious. I I think it was him, and it was funny. Shout out Kev on stage. I'm just concerned about it being on Tubi.

SPEAKER_01

No, I love Tubi. Don't hate on Tubi.

SPEAKER_00

Shabby said it'd be some videos. I know. On Tubi. It'd be the craziest stuff on Tubi. I can't even lie. It'd be the gunshot. And then like you see the person like still up, and then the next second they'd be laid out on the floor.

SPEAKER_01

With a handkerchief in their pocket. Yeah.

unknown

Like, what the what what?

SPEAKER_01

It it is. It is sometimes a little janky.

SPEAKER_00

It is.

SPEAKER_01

It's a beat ups to Auntie because his stuff ain't janky. No, it's not. There you go. He does, he does produce well. But they come a long way. Give Tooby a chance on other stuff. They have some really great other projects. I'ma try. I I can't make no promises. I'm a try. To be I love you. Hit me up if you want uh Tiffinage podcast.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, we'll do it. We'll do it. Put us on. Love it. Uh so speaking of interesting, yeah. Uh you and I had a very interesting conversation uh the other day on the phone, and you were like, oh, save it. Because we're about to do this on air. And I'm like, all right, I guess so. Yeah. So it is a possibility in the future that my ex and I could get remarried. Yes. Okay. So if that's the case, what do my children call their stepmother or their stepfather? Yes. And you asked me, would it be okay if they called the other person mom or dad? Yes. What did you say?

SPEAKER_01

Absolutely not. Absolutely not. They have a mom or a dad. Right. I and then I said, let me pause and stop. Because I'm going through my own adoption journey. Yes. And as part of that, I pray that they love me enough to call me mom. Yes. And I am not their original mom and the age they were looking at, they know their mom. Right. So then it made me just stop and reflect, and I said, you know what? That's not my question to answer.

SPEAKER_00

Let me ask you what you think. Right. So my answer was, I'm okay with it. So if my children love this other woman enough to want to call her mom, not forced. So if she's making them call her mom. No, we're not doing that. We're not doing that. But if they want to call her mom and they love her enough to do that, I'm perfectly fine with that. Now, it can't be a rando woman and you just calling any rando woman mom. We're talking about the wife of my ex-husband.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

We're talking about a woman who's supposed to be in the picture long term. Hopefully the second time around works out for him. Yeah. But this is a woman who they're going to spend a lot of time with. And if they want to call her mom, I get it. Now, here's the other question. What if we're both in the room with each other?

SPEAKER_01

That that's my thing, is because I know the type of mom that you are, you are not just mom. You are super mom. To the point where I had to move ask my husband at an event yesterday to switch seats because they were hanging on your arm at this event. One was on one arm, one was on the other, hanging off of you. And I could tell you needed a second to just at least just care for one or get a breather. Yeah. I cannot imagine them calling another mom mom when you set the bar so high as mom.

SPEAKER_00

And that's my point. If they want to call her mom, that means she has set her own high bar. That's true. Now, I know I'm the bio mom. I know what it came from. Yeah. Okay? Feel it all the time. Alright? But it's an emotional connection that they have. Yeah. I also thought about this way. What do you call your mother in love? Mom in love. So when you're talking to her, you call her mom in love?

SPEAKER_01

So here's the thing. I call mom mommy. Yes. That's my form of endearment. I still feel like a little kid when I'm with her, so she is mommy. Okay. I do call my mom in love mom. Okay. Yeah, I do call her mom. When they're together, I call her mom and her first name. Yes. Yes. When we're we're we're together, I call her mom and her first name. Yes. I always call mom mommy. Right. Yes.

SPEAKER_00

So there's the distinction. When we're together, I'm mom, she's mom, whatever. Mom Olivia, whatever.

SPEAKER_01

Not naming her.

SPEAKER_00

Not naming her. Whoever. But mom, whatever. And then I'm mom. So I'm okay with that. There are a lot of women out there that will cause a fuss. They will be out there ready to fist fight if a they wanted to call another woman mom.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And that's just not healthy. For me, it's not healthy for the kids. So thinking about the for what's best for the kids. Yeah. I'm okay with at their house, you call her whatever. At my house, I'm mom. And then when we are together, understanding respectfully, I'm mom, she's mom, whatever.

SPEAKER_01

No, I think it's a good thing. And I was thinking about one of my lawn sisters who has dealt with a person who had children. And I just remember she did bath time. She did homework. Yeah. She made meals. She was at their events. Yeah. Praise God that a woman is willing to do that with their kids. Exactly. And if they're willing to do that, maybe this isn't as big of a deal as we think it is.

SPEAKER_00

There are people with very strong opinions. Yeah. Because I asked my ex, would he be okay if somebody else called the children or the children called somebody else dad? He was like, hell no. I can see him saying that. I'm the only dad. I can totally hear him saying that. And you know what? I respect it. He he is a present father.

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

So I understand why he would feel that way. Yeah. I I don't have a problem with it, but I understand why he feels that way. So he's a hell no, and I get it. I respect it. No man will ever be called dad in my house. Um, but there's some strong opinions. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And your opinion was strong too. My opinion was strong too until I heard your opinion. And as someone who is a mother, it gave me perspective that I'll see when I'm in that boat. But for today, I I can't I can't be as strong as how I thought I would be because the reality is you made some great points. Yeah. Sometimes you learn from people from just having some good conversations. And it's for the children, like mature. You're so mature. I think I told you that on the phone. You're so mature. Because I would write, hell no. If I ever heard that, hell no. And you obviously gave me a good perspective.

SPEAKER_00

It's been a long time coming. If you would have asked me this in my 20s, probably not. Probably not. But now in my good FF40s, there's a lot of things that don't bother me the way that it would have bothered me in my 20s.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I just I know who I am and I know what I want and what I don't want. And I know when it comes to my children, what's best for them. If they see that there's not unity, they're gonna feel unsteady. You're not gonna give my children emotional problems. I'm I'm raising scholars and athletes, okay? I'm raising entrepreneurs, I'm raising Kings. Come on, chain breaker. I ain't got no time. Trauma healer. Mom of the year. Seriously, I don't I don't have time to be inflicting unnecessarily trauma into my kids. And then 20 years from now, they'll be like, you're the reason why I'm so emotional.

SPEAKER_01

Your kids would never say that because I already told you to spare the rod a few times. Oh no. I'm just joking. You know, I can never hit those little beautiful.

SPEAKER_00

I know. That's why I say you be talking about me spanking my kids, but you're not going to. Of course not. How can I? Exactly. I ain't got no type of uh balls to do that. Exactly. Well, Ro's mouth has been getting a little out of control.

SPEAKER_01

It is. And I just look at him and then I'm like, say what you want. You're so sweet. I love you. You're so sweet.

SPEAKER_00

That's that thing. No, but I I thought it was such a great conversation. But child, I'm not ready for these comments. Yeah. And y'all have been treacherous in the comments. Y'all, y'all stop. Trolling.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, y'all be trolling us. And it's the men. We still oh ho's.

SPEAKER_00

No, we run through. That's what it means. No, no, we were run through. That's right. That's right.

SPEAKER_01

Forget the fact I've been married for 15 years. To the same man. Same man. No outside. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Golly.

SPEAKER_01

Anyway.

SPEAKER_00

What the Florida? Oh. Oh no. Oh, you're not ready for this one. Ciao, what the Florida. What the Florida? Let me read this so you can hear it the way that I read it. Because this what the Florida. Ciao. A woman was arrested for allegedly posing as a Costco employee and serving unauthorized tequila shots in the tiny two-ounce souffle sample cups. Brianna Keller walked into a Tampa. Oh, Tampa! Costco, wearing black pants, a red polo, and a fake employee badge. Come on, dress. She spent nearly an hour handing out tequila shots in tiny little ketchup cups to unsuspecting shoppers.

SPEAKER_01

You can't even give alcohol out at Costco anything.

SPEAKER_00

I don't know. I don't know. I don't think so. Witnesses claim she confidently explained that Costco was testing a new customer experience initiative. Cha. And referred to the alcohol as part of a weekend tasting event. Several shoppers reportedly believed the setup was illegitimate, even saying she was so confident that nobody questioned it. Oh come on. She kept talking about flavor profiles like she actually worked here.

SPEAKER_01

She gave the ingredients to swirl.

SPEAKER_00

That is a gosh. Things reportedly got out of hand when customers began cheering her on, chanting alongside as she shouted, weekend mode activated. What in the world? Witnesses say some shoppers were even dancing near the mattress section with condiment cups in their hand.

SPEAKER_01

See, but see, this is where we go too far. Has she just did a taste in and gave people a little nice little taste? Why would she do the tasting? But she made it shot o'clock at Costco. Took it too far. Too far. What the Florida?

SPEAKER_00

What the Florida?

unknown

What the Florida?

SPEAKER_00

Nobody at Costco, I guess they figure she's a new hire. Like nobody at Costco was like, who's this? They probably have like hundreds of people who are working. I know everybody who works in my section. That's true. Give me a break. That is hilarious. I just even know who went to get the manager. I'm going to get the manager. I know, right? Somebody. Somebody had to shut it down. You know it was. Other people was having too much fun.

SPEAKER_01

They were having too much fun and they were skipping them little nasty uh pasta dishes they didn't want you to try. Trying to figure out why they're not coming to my booth. Well. Because it was shot o'clock with tequila. Where'd she get the tequila from? I know. They do not, I've never seen them sell hard liquor. Wines, yes. Maybe they sell liquor. Do they? They sell liquor. Don't tell me she went and opened a bottle.

SPEAKER_00

That's what I'm trying to figure out. Like, did she bring her own or does she go open one just randomly crack it open? What the Florida? Is this not wild? It is so wow.

SPEAKER_01

In Tampa, why wasn't it when I was there? You know what? I mean You taking a random woman shot? At Costco, I would not think it's a random woman. If she's set up in a booth with her whole setup with the it on display and little appropriate cups, I'll be going in sampling everything. That's a whole meal by the time you walk across the whole floor. It is. And you gonna tell me a shot and Sean's driving? Come on. That would have gotten me. Swept to Florida. So she was giving flavor profiles. That is wild. That is as wild as I have ever heard it. Florida be flooring, y'all. In Tampa never disappoints. Never, never. Uh, have you run into the Tampa Bush Man? I have not. Okay. I am so excited at some point for him to get me. You know, I've been outside too, so there's so many possibilities for him to get me. Oh wow. And I've been in Ybor too. Between him and Hood Bacchi. Have you tried Hoodbachi? I have not seen Hoodbachi. I'm gonna have to follow him to see where he's gonna be. To see where he's gonna be, because that's definitely one that I want to try. It looks so good. It looks so good. Speaking of so good. So and tastings. Yes, and tastings. I have my favorite drink today.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, I'm so excited.

SPEAKER_01

I know you hate espresso martinis, but on the rocks, I have espresso martini on the rocks.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. You're gonna love it.

SPEAKER_01

It smells so good. I know you can smell it from it.

SPEAKER_00

It smells fantastic. But you love coffee. I love coffee.

SPEAKER_01

Coffee liqueur. It's not the same thing. It's so good. So on the rocks, uh espresso martini is my drink highlight for today. I have shaken it so that it's nice and cold for you.

unknown

Cheers!

SPEAKER_00

Cheers! Cheers! I'm so excited. Smells so good though.

SPEAKER_01

Come on. Come on. Come on.

SPEAKER_00

You know it's good. I think it's because it's sweeter than the other ones. It's a good brand.

SPEAKER_01

No, it's it's actually or pre-made is really good. I didn't add anything to it. You know, normally I like to add a little chocolate crown or something in it. But it's straight on the rocks.

SPEAKER_00

No, I mean it's good. It it tastes like it has some kind of sweetener in it, so it doesn't go down harsh like the last couple.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, it's because I had crown in it. This is not this does not have crown in it. Delicious. Thank you. You're welcome. While you got your cup, I may as well go ahead and do my sister salute. Come on. I love missing this frustration martini. No, it's not bad. It's not bad. Excellent. Thank you on the rocks. Pre-made, ready to go. On ice or off. You do good. Thank you. Appreciate it. But I have an amazing sister salute for you today. Yes. Shout out to Shay Taylor Allen. Yeah. Have you heard about her? I did. This just warms my heart. So if you don't know who she is, Shay is making absolute headlines right now. Shay was working as a janitor at Yale New Haven hospital and uh now is returning as a medical student. Doctor. That's so awesome. Yes. So long story short, her mom was misdiagnosed and dealing with what a lot of black women deal with when it comes to healthcare disparities. She was diagnosed with mental illness, only to find out that she actually did have a legitimate illness, a vocal cord illness. And it was because she saw how her mom was treated that she realized that she needed to make a difference, and she decided to uh go back to school and got into medical school and just matched with Yale New Haven Hospital. That's so awesome. I'm so excited for her because she was born there. Oh, wow! Worked as a janitor there, and now is doing her residency and will be Dr. Taylor very soon.

Dr.

SPEAKER_01

Taylor. So shout out to Shay Taylor Allen. You are my sister salute today. We salute to you. We wish you so much success. And Doctor Come Through. Come through. If I've never heard any type of story around Willet and Make Away, it is this. It's beautiful. She is inspiring many little girls, not just black girls, little girls that you can be and do anything if you work hard. Come on, Doc McStuffet. Come on, real Doc McStuffet. Shout out to Shay, Dr. Taylor, super proud of you. Best of luck to you. Can't wait to see great things. Cheers, cheers.

SPEAKER_02

Cheers. Cheers. Clink, clink, clink.

SPEAKER_01

Dr. Taylor. Well, sister, I thought they just go by the two beds. They do, but it's always fun.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Well, we appreciate you all again for always tuning in with us. We're having a great time. We'll keep this thing going. We will close out in our sister's salute to the sister who dared, to the sister who cared, to the sister who said yes to herself. We see you, we celebrate you, and we salute to you. Cheers. Cheers. Drink a drink. Yeah. And pour it in my cup. Alright, y'all. We love y'all. Peace.
