Father God, we ask that you would prepare our hearts this morning. Father, to receive the word that is going to go forth. God, we ask that you would prepare our minds, God, to receive the word that is going to go forth today. Father God, I pray that when it when it happens, God, when you begin to speak to us, Father God, that they wouldn't see me up here in this pulpit, but they would feel and hear you today, God. We ask that you, Holy Spirit, would just visit us once again, God. Help us see and know that you are close. Father God, we just praise you, we worship you. We are hungry for you today, God. We thank you for all the good things that you give us, all the blessings in our life, the freedoms that we have. Father, we thank you for your grace and your mercy this morning. We ask all these things in Jesus' name. And the church said, Amen. You may begin to find your seats there if you're able to. And we want to just say thank you so much for joining us today. We hope that you're doing well and things are going good in your life. I pray that your week has been blessed. I pray that you are excited and hungry for more of God today. There's so many things going on within our church, and there's different ones who are battling sickness and things going on, and we're praying for them. And I want to remind you to look at that church bulletin and pray for those prayer requests that are in there. There's so many things going on with the church calendar, different events and things going on. We're getting ready for camps. And and Kayla already mentioned about a bunch of those things, but we want to encourage you to get signed up, get registered for camp. Um and uh, you know, Father's Day is coming up, and and we know that's kind of a a change up in our plans there. So if you have any questions, feel free to ask us after service and talk to us about that. And and it's there's an emphasis on something that she said this morning. It's a test run, okay? And so that means we're we're trying to see, you know, how that would work if we were to ever go to the two services as a permanent thing. And so um, you know, uh also gives you, you know, if you're reluctant to invite people for Father's Day, because you know, we've had big crowds, we've had limited seating, we've had limited parking, it opens that up, okay? And so um, you know, pick a service, nine o'clock, eleven o'clock, come to it, worship with us. It's gonna be a great, great time in God's house, and we're excited about all those things that are going on. And so I want to open us up in prayer today. If you were here last week, we began a two-week series that we're doing titled Um The Holy Spirit. And last week we talked about um the invitation, okay? And so we invited God and and we talked about the Trinity and we talked about the Holy Spirit, and we invited him to be a part of everything that we do, and he showed up. Amen. God showed up last week, and so we were excited about that. And uh, let's open up in prayer and just begin to get together in unity and in one accord, like in Acts chapter two. Let's bring it together today and ask the Lord just to speak to us a little. If you would, let's bow our heads and and and close our eyes for a moment and just invite the Lord into this place. Father, I'm so grateful for you today. I'm so grateful that you have chosen this redneck boy from Caulfield, Missouri, God, that you have uh chosen me to be a vessel, to be an instrument, God. And it's not about me, but Father, I pray that you would use me however you would want to use me today, God. Just like in Isaiah chapter six, God, I'm saying, here I am, Lord, send me. Here I am, Lord, use me. And so, Father, we ask that you would just speak, that you would move in today's service, God, and Father, that you would be glorified in everything that is done today. We ask it in your precious name and the church said, Amen. So we're gonna begin today's message kind of heavy in scripture, because when we begin to break these things down and talk about what we're discussing today concerning the Holy Spirit, I want you to have no room for confusion of what we're talking about. And so if you'll go with me, if you have your physical Bible with you, or if you have it on your phone, however you have it, I want to encourage you to go to Galatians chapter 5, verses 23 through 25, where it talks about the fruit of the Spirit. Somebody say amen. And we're also going to read right after that. So if you want to do the old school where you put your pinky one place to save a spot, and then you flip over and you're like, man, I don't have enough, you know, you can't figure that out. Uh, we're gonna also go to 1 Corinthians chapter 12, verses 4 through 11, where it talks about not the fruit, but the gifts of the Spirit. Somebody say amen. So, like I said, we're diving deep in scripture this morning. We have a lot of ground to cover, and I say that because the Lord has already spoken to me about what we're going to be talking about next Sunday. And so I want to encourage you to be excited about that, to invite somebody back next week. We're gonna be talking about the good shepherd. Look at your neighbor and say, the good shepherd. And so uh make God's house a priority, and I know he'll bless you when you do that. And uh, if we can do that for sports, if we can do that for school, if we can do that for family, if we can do that for our jobs, we can do it for God. Amen. And so I hope you're ready. Here we go. We're gonna jump into that first set of scripture, Galatians chapter 5, verses 16 through 26. This is what it says, should be up on the the big screens here around me as well, if you don't have the Bible with you. So this is what it says. Um, but I say, walk by the spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the spirit, and the desires of the spirit are against the flesh. For these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. But if you are led by the spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident, sexual immorality, impurity, and sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, uh, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, all these things. I warn you as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Now we're gonna go to verse 22. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law, and those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. And if we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another. Amen. Now we are going to go over to First Corinthians chapter twelve, and we're gonna actually read verses one through eleven, okay? And after this, we're gonna get into this pretty heavy, and uh, and I pray that the Lord is speaking to you already as we are going through this. And I know sometimes in scripture, man, it's just right there. It's convicting, it's in our face, it's it's intense. Okay, but how many of you know sometimes we need that? Amen. And so let's let's read 1 Corinthians chapter 12 here, verses 1 through 11. It says, Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be uninformed. You know that when you were pagans, you were led astray to mute idols, however, you were led. Therefore, I want you to understand that no one speaking in the spirit of God ever says, Jesus is accursed, and no one can say Jesus is Lord except in the Holy Spirit. Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are varieties of service, but the same Lord. There are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in every one. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same spirit, to another, faith by the same spirit, to another, gifts of healing by one spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another, prophecy, to another, the ability of to distinguish between spirits, to another, various kinds of tongues, to another, the interpretation of tongues. All these are empowered by one and the same spirit who apportions to each one individually as he wills. So last week we talked about, if you remember, if you were here, who is the Holy Spirit? Where is the Holy Spirit? Why is the Holy Spirit important? And the Holy Spirit must be invited. And so today I want to answer these questions. If the Holy Spirit is truly active in my life, what does the evidence look like? Look at your neighbor this morning and say, The evidence. See, the evidence is not found in one thing alone. Say that again. The evidence is not found in one thing alone. The Holy Spirit produces fruit, gives gifts, empowers believers, and transforms us into the image of Jesus. So the evidence of the Holy Spirit is not merely what God does through you, listen to this, but also what God is doing in you. Because many people assume the evidence is simply okay, church attendance, Bible knowledge, listening to Christian podcasts, worship music, involvement in the church. But Jesus said in Matthew 7, 16, you know them by their fruit. Not their bumper sticker, not their church attendance, not their social media posts, not their theological arguments. And some of us, man, we love to get into a good theological argument, but their fruit. So today, as we get into this sermon, week two of the Holy Spirit, the subtitle is, like I said a minute ago, The Evidence. And so our first point is this the Holy Spirit will produce evidence. Galatians 5, 22 and 23, going back to that real quick, it said, But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law. The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, great, gentleness, and self-control. Notice Paul doesn't say church attendance, he doesn't say Bible knowledge, he doesn't say good intentions. Fruit is evidence that something is alive. Can I get an amen right there? An apple tree doesn't strain to prove it's an apple tree. Eventually, apples are supposed to show up. So, likewise, if the Holy Spirit is working in your life, eventually there should be evidence of that. You see, fruit is not something that we manufacture, fruit is something the Holy Spirit produces when we stay connected to Jesus. John 15, 5 says, I am the vine, you are the branches. So imagine planting an apple tree this morning, and five years later there's no apples. Ten years later, there are still no apples. Eventually, somebody has to ask the question, are you sure that thing is an apple tree? But Jesus says spiritual lives work the same way. So if you're a believer and there's no fruit, someone has to ask the question, are you really what you say you are? See, our fruit is so important. If you are hungry for more of God in your life, have you thought about consuming some of this fruit? Maybe some of us are here this morning and we need more kindness. Maybe you need more love. Maybe you need more joy and peace. Maybe you don't need a divine revelation. Maybe you just need to start by consuming some of these things as well. I know if I'm frustrated and if I show everyone I'm frustrated, guess what? That gets me nowhere. I know when I'm frustrated, I've learned that I need to purposely do something different to stop what's happening. And so one of the things I've I've been trying to do when I get a little frustrated with something is I try to figure out how I can bless someone. And so there was a recent Wednesday, just some different things are happening. Nothing uh with church or anything like that, but just some different things happening. And I I found myself frustrated. And and I was driving the church van on a Wednesday night, and there were some individuals who were on the van with me, the last ones to drop off for the night, and um they began to talk as we came back into town how they love Taco Bell, and they wish they had the money to go to Taco Bell. Well, instead of me jumping on my bandwagon here of saying, you know, I'm frustrated and I'm just ready to be done for the night, instead, I did what God has been teaching me. I chose to figure out a way to change what was going on, change the narrative. So we pulled into the Taco Bell parking lot, and these individuals said, What's going on? Said, Well, we're gonna get you some Taco Bell. And they were so blown away by that and just blessed that they were to get some Taco Bell because normally they can't afford to do that, and it changed the narrative of what was going on in my mind and in my heart by blessing someone else. Instead of getting upset, I chose the fruit of the spirit, and so moving on to the next point, point number two, it's this the Holy Spirit gives gifts like we read in 1 Corinthians chapter 12, verses 1 through 11. There's all kinds and types of gifts from the Holy Spirit. Gifts are different than fruit, but also so very important. And I know it's 2026. I know 58% of Christians believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. If you can't do the math there, that means 42% of Christians don't or question the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Okay, and so I'm aware of those things, but I'm here to let somebody know this morning. I'm here to remind you this morning that the Holy Spirit still gives wisdom, the Holy Spirit still gives knowledge, the Holy Spirit still gives faith, still gives healings and miracles and prophecy and discernment and tongues and interpretation. And at Family Worship Center, we believe in the gifts of the Spirit. But at the same time, we believe, like everything, there is a purpose for what happens. There is a time and a place and a process. In fact, 1 Corinthians chapter 14, verse 32, says the spirit is subject to the prophet. And 1 Corinthians 14, 33 says that God is not the author of confusion. So the Holy Spirit doesn't do things to confuse people, the Holy Spirit does things to draw people to a relationship to Christ and to draw people to where God needs them to be. Can I get an amen right there? God does things in a way that speaks to us and teaches us and helps us experience Him. And I know people who believe in some of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, but then not all of them. There's denominations that don't believe they are relevant or given anymore. There's denominations which pick and choose what they believe in and what they don't, and maybe maybe your family has history with some of those denominations, and so maybe you are not exactly sure what you believe or don't believe. We believe Acts 2 wasn't the finish line. We believe it was the starting line. And you see, the gifts of the Spirit are not just these relics and these things from the past, they are tools for the mission that we have to empower us and to help us go into all the world, teaching, preaching, and baptizing, sharing the gospel, spreading the good news, to see people come into a relationship with God. But here's where many people get confused: the gifts are evidence of the Holy Spirit's power, and the fruit is evidence of the Holy Spirit's character, and what we need to understand is we need both. Unfortunately, there's a lot of churches these days that seem to only focus on one or the other. And, you know, very appealing to large crowds and very appealing to everyone. And then there's churches who are so stuck on the Holy Spirit having to be evident in every single service that they drive some people or people who maybe are not as experienced with church away because instead of teaching and helping them understand, they're just focused on the excitement of the Holy Spirit. Maybe, maybe you can kind of see where we're going with that a little bit there. But I'm here to tell you this morning that there's gotta be both. Amen. We need gift-wrapped fruit. Gift-wrapped fruit, the gifts of the spirit wrapped in the fruit of the spirit. You see, and this so this leads us right into our next point. Point number three is this power without character is dangerous. And you know, it's not a coincidence here in First Corinthians when Paul is teaching and talking and and and and he's doing this in in chapter 12, and then all of a sudden he throws in chapter 13 right in between all of this knowledge and and guidance with the Holy Spirit. So I want to go to First Corinthians chapter 13, one through three, because I I feel like this connects what we're talking about this morning. It connects the gifts of the Holy Spirit, but also the fruit of the Holy Spirit. This is what Paul says here in 1 Corinthians 13 1 through 3. And can I just throw this out there? These scriptures are not just meant for weddings, these verses are not just meant for relationship, but this is also important knowledge that we need to know about the Holy Spirit. Amen. And so 1 Corinthians 13 1 through 3 says this if I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, did you catch that? But didn't love others, I would only be a noisy gong or clinging symbol. If I had the gift of prophecy and if I understood all of God's secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn't love others, I would be nothing. If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it. But if I didn't love others, I would have gained nothing. See, Paul places this love chapter that people refer to and talk about and use so much directly between these two chapters on the spiritual gifts, and then it's not an accident, it was corrective. The Corinthian church had gifts. But they lacked maturity. They were gifted but divided, powerful but immature, spiritual but unloving. So let's bring this into 2026 because as a pastor, you see all kinds of things and you learn all types of stuff, and it makes you think. And and I've seen other spiritual leaders and I've been around other pastors and I've and I've been around believers who are very impressive on the outside. They like to show off their spiritual gifts. Has anyone ever known someone like that? Someone who likes to talk about their money, someone who likes to talk about their success, someone who likes to brag about their gifts. I've been around impressive people before. And even though people said they were so anointed and they flowed and operated in the spirit, and maybe even showed all of these impressive gifts of the spirit, but can I tell you, outside of church, those same people were a disappointment? Off the stage, they were jerks. Out of the spotlight, their fruit tree was barren. And so it made me think, and I know you can quote scripture, but can you be kind to others? I know you study your Bible every day, but can you forgive someone who doesn't deserve it? I know we can speak in tongues and talk about all these things, but can you refuse to speak negative about someone else? I know we watch online pastors and podcasts and all these things, but are you helping feed the hungry? I know we pray every day and we want to talk about our prayer closet and we want to, you know, talk about how we get alone with God, but can you show respect to someone who doesn't vote like you do? I know you attend church every week, but can you be a friend to someone who has made big mistakes in their life? You see, what Paul is saying as he is anointed and led by the Holy Spirit, you might be spiritually impressive, but if you don't have love, it's all meaningless. It's nothing, it doesn't mean a thing. It makes me think about the churches that I grew up in. Because it makes me think about my dad, who never faithfully just went to church week after week, service after service, who questioned a lot of things, who had a lot of doubts, who knew a lot of things about God and the Father and the Bible, and he had a lot of knowledge, but he had a lot of questions. And not one time do I remember a church that we attended growing up, did the pastor come off the stage, come out of his title, come out of his home, come out of his church, and come to my home and visit my dad, even though the rest of my family attended church. Not one time did they come make a house call or try to relate with him or become friends with him or try to help answer some of those questions. You see, we have to have both. We can have all the spiritual gifts, but if we don't have the fruit of the spirit, it's nothing. We have to have both. Listen to me, church, it doesn't matter how impressive we are in here if we don't take it out there. We have to have both. We have to have the gifts and the fruit. And above all that, we have to have love for one another. That doesn't mean you approve of everybody and everything that they're doing. You can even tell them that you don't approve of it. But if you continue to love them, you're being a godly example to them. They were trying to pin Jesus on different points and thoughts, and they asked him about the greatest commandments. Instead of playing the game that they were trying to play, he simplified it for them and he said, And how many of you know sometimes you just have to simplify things? I don't know about you, but my dad taught me and my brother growing up the kiss theory. Anybody ever keep it keep it simple, stupid? Anyone ever heard that before? Keep it simple, stupid. Sometimes you just have to keep things simple. And Jesus, I think sometimes he was doing things like this because he just kept it simple. Because it can all be wrapped up in this. He said, Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love your neighbor as you love yourself. Because if you do those things, you'll keep the rest of the commandments. If you do those things, you'll have the fruit of the Spirit. If you do those things, you'll be gifted with different gifts of the Spirit. You see, it's not a coincidence, but it was intentional that chapter 13 is right here in the middle of all this. Faith is more than what we know. It's how we love, it's how we serve, how we forgive, how we treat others. The world doesn't just need more Christians who talk about Jesus, the world needs more Christians who live like Jesus. So who cares if you can speak in tongues, if you're arrogant and rude, and and should I say it again, and maybe I'll get in trouble for it later? But if you're a jerk to people outside of church, who cares if you have a word of knowledge on Sunday but can't be kind on Monday? Who cares if you're a self-appointed prophet but have no self-control on the weekend? Who cares if you're a self-appointed prophet and you just go do all these things and people are like, I thought that guy was prophesying church on Sunday? Who cares if you play loud, you know, who cares if you pray loud in church, but you can't love your family at home? See, I believe in the gifts and I want the gifts and I pray for the gifts, but gifts were never meant to replace fruit, they have to coexist. The gifts reveal God's power, the fruit reveals God's presence. And so, point four is this the Holy Spirit. Hold on just one second, my iPad died. How many of y'all love technology? The Holy Spirit makes us look more like Jesus. In Second Corinthians chapter three, verse eighteen says, so all of us who have had that veil removed, listen to that word right there. Second Corinthians three eighteen. So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord, who is the Spirit, makes us more and more like Him as we are changed into His glorious image. So the ultimate goal of the Holy Spirit is not merely to make us powerful or look good, it's to make us Christ-like. The greatest miracle is not speaking in tongues. The greatest miracle is when a hateful person becomes a loving person, a bitter person becomes a forgiving person, an angry person becomes a gentle person, a selfish person becomes a generous person, a sinner becomes more like Jesus. See, the greatest evidence of the Holy Spirit isn't what happens during church. Come on, somebody. It's who you are outside of church, it's who you are becoming between Sundays. I mean, it's pretty easy to put this together, but sometimes maybe we don't think about it. There's six other days of the week. How are you acting and how are you looking? And how are you representing your faith outside of Sunday morning? See, the world needs Jesus until the day of his return. It's our job to represent him and represent him well. What's the point of preaching? What's the point of anointing? What's the point of the gifts if no one is getting closer to Christ? What's the point of bringing Christian artists in or bringing evangelists in and having services and events if there's no life change? See, our main goal is to become more like Christ every single day. Are we going to fail at that? Sure we are. Because we're human, we're people, but we get back up and we try and we try again. So I'm here this morning to tell you this. Yes, we want more of the Holy Spirit like we seen last week, like we've been feeling this morning, and some of these songs that we have been singing, and some of these things that we are talking about. We want to see and hear and experience more of the gifts, and we definitely need more of the fruit of the spirit. But if it's not drawing people to the love of Christ that transforms us from the inside out, it's all pointless. The gifts of the spirit are impressive and helps the community of believers, and it's the gifts of the spirit that go to a bedside of a loved one who is sick or maybe dying. It's the gifts of the spirit that shows the evidence of the Holy Spirit. And when we forgive someone who doesn't maybe even deserve forgiveness, the gifts are a sign of the Holy Spirit, but the fruit is the evidence. Where there's fruit, there must be a hunger. And that leads us to our last point today. Hunger determines how much of God you experience. Matthew 5, 6, blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness. Jeremiah 29:13, you will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Some people want enough God to get to heaven. Others want everything that God has. Some are satisfied being saved. Others want to be transformed. Some want a church experience. Others want God's presence. The Holy Spirit is not looking for perfect people. He's looking for hungry people. So do we have anyone in our congregation today? And you don't have to answer this out loud as a question for your heart and your mind. Do we have anyone in our congregation today that's hungry for a move of God? See, the depth of your hunger often determines the depth of your growth. If you're not hungry to learn more about God, then you're probably not going to open your word and read the word of God. When you read God's word, it's showing God and showing yourself and testifying that you are hungry for more of God. Your hunger, real simple, your hunger determines how much you eat. In my young Christian life, I've heard a lot of people that like to complain, and you probably heard this said before too. Well, I'm just not being fed spiritually. But my question for those who ask that or say that or make that comment comment is real simple. It's this how hungry are you? See, we need to be so hungry for the things of God that we are stubborn and we're determined until the Holy Spirit comes and feeds our soul. In America's version of the church, we want this McDonald's experience at church. We want this Burger King experience at church. We want, you know, a drive-thru experience. We want a little worship, a little word, a little prayer, a little bit of the gifts and a little bit of the fruit, but not too much. Just enough that we can say it was healthy. We want it all in, you know, an hour or less. Quickly. We want it this drive-through church experience. But you see, God fills those who are hungry and thirst after righteousness. How many of you know sometimes in order to get something good, you have to wait on something good? Have you ever been there before? The problem is we want to rush God. We want to control our relationship with Him. We want to have the Holy Spirit do it our way. I literally just had a conversation with someone who asked me, Why can't God do all those awesome things but without the gifts of the Spirit? See, it's just as simple as this. You can't have it your way. He's not Burger King, he's the king of kings. And when and how he wants to speak, he's gonna do it his way. How he moves is up to him. It's not up to me, it's not up to our church board, it's not up to our worship team, it's not up to different leaders, it's not the person who's standing on the stage, or the person who gives the most in the offering, or the people who attend the church the longest. When God wants to move, we let him move and we want him to move his way, not our way. So I'm gonna ask our worship team to come up and just to begin to play something softly. And I want us to begin to think about this in our hearts and our minds because we want to make room for God to do whatever it is that he wants to do today. Maybe today you're here and you need more love in your life, you need more fruit of the spirit, maybe you need more patience, maybe you need more self-control, maybe you need healing, maybe you need boldness, maybe you need a gift you've never even operated in before. Maybe you need deeper faith. Maybe you've become spiritually comfortable. Maybe you've settled for a routine, maybe you've stopped growing in your relationship with God. Maybe this morning you're here and you're just hungry for more of God. The invitation today is it's not just simple, okay? And I think sometimes if we don't have something simple laid out before us, then we're we like to resist what it is God's trying to do. It's not just a simple invitation today. What God is trying to speak to our hearts, what he's trying to do in our church, it's not just simple. It's not just come receive the gifts. The invitation today isn't simply come, receive the fruit of the Spirit. It's come, receive more of God. The invitation is Lord, come have your way in our church, have your way in our hearts, and whatever that is, God, we're gonna be open to it. And so just begin to pray with me right now as we get serious, as we push into this. If we can bow our heads and close our eyes, Holy Spirit, if we need our if we need your gifts, we ask for you to pour them out today. Holy Spirit, if we need your fruit, pour it out today. Holy Spirit, change us from the inside out, Holy Spirit, fill us today. Holy Spirit, make us look more like Jesus. We don't want church as usual, we don't want religion, we don't want routine, God. We want you. God, we're hungry for more of you. So with every head bowed and every eye closed, if you're here today, this isn't for no purpose except to urge you into pushing in and praying and urge you into what God is trying to say to you. And so, you know, you may respond, you may not, but I want to encourage you just to be open to the Lord, if he's talking to you, to use this as a way to respond to him. But if you're here today and you're far from Christ, you're here today, and maybe you don't have a relationship with him, or maybe you feel like you've fallen out of a relationship with him, you've chosen other things instead of him. This morning, you just need to ask Jesus into your heart. You need to ask him to be the Lord and Savior of your life. You want to confess all those things to him and ask him to forgive you. If that's you this morning, nobody looking around, no one making anyone feel ashamed or judged or anything. If that's you, and you need to ask Jesus into your heart, you can feel him knocking on the door of your heart, you can feel him tugging on you this morning. Nobody looking around. If that you just say, slip up your hand and say, That's me, Jesus. I feel you today. God, I can tell you're trying to get my attention. If that's you, just slip up your hands so God can see you. Thank you for those hands. God sees you this morning. He sees you right where you are, and he loves you. And he can change everything in just a moment. Just a moment of surrender to him. You can put your hands down. And church, I'll just be honest with you, several people raise their hands, and so before we before we go on, we just have to pray a prayer of salvation because we want them to not only meet Christ and invite him into their heart right now, but we have to take advantage of these moments. So if you would pray this prayer with me, I would appreciate it. Dear Jesus, I ask you into my heart, be my Lord and Savior. Forgive me of my sins. I believe in you, I believe you died for me. I believe you were resurrected for me. I confess my sins. I call upon your name. I ask you to save me and forgive me and be my savior. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen. Can we put our hands together? Come on, just worship Him for a moment. Thank you, Jesus, for these new salvations, God. Thank you, Jesus, for our new family. Thank you, Jesus, that these names were written down in heaven. With your head still bowed and your eyes still closed, nobody looking around. If you're here this morning, you say, you know what, Pastor, I need more of that fruit. I've been focused on the gifts. I need more of the fruit. I don't want to be like that we were talking about today. I want to have both. I want to be the best version of myself. I don't want to forget about one thing or the other. I want to try my best. I need more love. I need more patience. I need more kindness. You need more fruit of the spirit. Nobody looking around. Would you be honest and slip up your hand and say, That's me? I need more fruit of the spirit. Thank you, Jesus. You can put your hands down. It's just between you and God. Maybe you're here this morning and you say, God, I don't, I don't really know all the things. I don't really understand it. But I would like to go deeper with you. I would like to have some of those gifts. I would like to experience more. I would like to have a more mature relationship with you. I need to be empowered. I need to have that extra courage. I need to have that confidence. I need some of those gifts. If that's you this morning, nobody looking around. Would you just slip up your hand and just be honest with God? God, I need to go deeper. I need more from you, God. Thank you for those hands. God, let's use you. Church, here's what we're gonna do. I'm gonna ask that we just sing and play, and I'm gonna ask the rest of the worship team to just stay down. Don't come up. Just the keyboard and praise and singing. But I'm gonna ask, and this is for our whole church. Can I tell you we're early? We're about 20 minutes earlier than normal. So we have time for it. If we want to spend 20 minutes on the altar, we can. If we want to spend two minutes in the altar, we can. But can I just make a call right now? Can we find a place to pray? It's not that your life is broken and falling apart and you need to come up here and the whole church is gonna look at you. No, it's because we're broken people and we need more of God. I myself is I'm probably gonna find a place at these altars and pray myself as the pastor of this church. So can we just have a just a big call right now? If you're needing more of God, if you're needing the fruit of the Spirit, if you're needing gifts of the Spirit, if you're hungry for more of God, if you want to see this church filled up, if you want to see those two services filled up, if you want to see your family come to Christ, if you want to see the Holy Spirit get someone that has been far from God, playing games with God, Aries with Him, whatever it is, whatever your prayer request is, maybe you have a prodigal in your family and they've been living completely opposite of the Word of God, and you want to come up here and just begin to cry out for them. Come on, right now, God is calling us to a moment, to an appointment. If it's the fruit of the Spirit, if it's the gift of the Spirit, if you just need to enter seed for somebody, come on, church. God's word says if we would just hear from heaven, turn from our wicked ways, to repent, to pray, to fall on our knees and to call upon the name of the Lord. He will hear our prayers from heaven, and he will heal our land. We want to see revival, we want to see America change, we want to see Versus Hills, Missouri change, we want to see our family change, we want to see Morgan County a move of God like never before. It begins on our knees. Father, I pray for our church right now as we move into this, as we get ready to pray and worship and to seeing God. I pray that every single person seeking your face would just come honestly before your throne and say, Here I am, Lord. You know me, here I am, Lord, use me. Here I am, Lord, send me. Here I am, Lord, fill me with your fruits. Here I am, Lord, fill me with your gifts. Here I am, Lord, use me. Do what you want in me, God. Let me be the one that is the one who stands out amongst the crowd and stands up for you today. Push in. Make this a holy moment. Worship him as we sing, as we worship.

SPEAKER_00All right, we are about to dismiss. I want to challenge you this week. Find somebody you can invite to come back with you next week. I know God's doing big things in our church, so make that your own personal challenge. Find one person you can invite to come join us next Sunday. Let's pray. God, thank you for the opportunity to be in your house. Thank you for this word that was spoken over us. Thank you for your Holy Spirit. Help us to take it with us for the remainder of our week. Help us live in the fruit of the Spirit and with the gifts of the Spirit every single day this week. I ask that you put one person or two people or 27 people in our path that we are meant to invite to come be with us next Sunday. And that you would allow that to be good ground, that you would help them to be open to your words, and that you would bring them here in Jesus' name. Amen.
