Nina's Law - Let’s Talk Care
Nina’s Law: Let’s Talk Care is a podcast dedicated to honest, real-life conversations about care, disability, and the healthcare system. Hosted by Nina, the podcast shines a light on lived experience and explores the realities faced by disabled people, families, and carers every day.
Each episode features open discussions with carers, healthcare professionals, campaigners, and decision-makers, diving into topics such as hospital care, care funding, transitions from childhood to adulthood, and why allowing carers to stay with the people they support is essential, not optional.
This podcast is about understanding, dignity, and change. Whether you live this reality, support someone who does, or want to learn more, Let’s Talk Care gives you an honest insight into the care system and the change Nina’s Law is fighting for.

This week, I’m joined by the lovely nurse Joanna, who talks openly about her wonderful daughter Poppy and what it’s really like caring for a child with complex needs. We discuss why care isn’t optional, it’s essential, and how Nina’s Law would hugely benefit the NHS by freeing up staff and allowing carers to continue caring during hospital visits.
It’s a powerful episode and definitely one to listen to.
