Good morning, good night, good afternoon, good evening. Good afternoon, good evening, and good night. There you go. Um, hello. My name is Amber. And my name is Alyssa. And we are your wonderfully beautiful hosts. Spectacular hosts of In Good Faith Podcast. Let me start by saying I was approached by a fan. Pardon? Someone you didn't know? Amanda, if you're listening. My friend Amanda, she approached me at the wedding and she was like, I listen to the podcast. And I'm like, oh my gosh. Wow. Don't mention it. So that made me feel good. Sometimes I get a little embarrassed because I forget how I act on here and then versus real life. So, in other words, I'm fake. Not really, but I I feel like this podcast, like, we have a good mix of a fair share of tears, a little vulnerable on ears sometimes. And so then I remember that whenever someone says that. So you heard me cry the other week. Yeah. But thank you. Shout out to a man for listening. We appreciate your listening. Yes. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. So, yeah, that's the first thing I wanted to say is it's the first elephant we wanted to address. The second elephant is that I just got back from vacation. That's the elephant nobody asked about. Nor was it in the room. I still feel like I'm rocking because it came directly off the boat. We were fishing in Englewood. It was so wonderful. I got a tan, and I'm feeling really fresh right now. I actually don't feel really fresh at all right now. I feel salty and gross. But I don't feel right. Like I'm sitting here and I feel like I'm rocking. But it was fun. Sad to be home. Sad to go to work tomorrow, but we're back to the grind. What a blessing that your equilibrium is off from being on the boat for exactly four days. I did not catch anything of a neat uh needlefish. Really? I didn't even know you could catch those. That's maybe it's a special talent, though. I feel like that would be hard to hook. I can't even see your face because of this bar. Let me scooch. Let me scoot on over. The other elephant, I'll let you go in a minute, but is I did my speech at the wedding. My best friend Shobu got married. I was maid of honor, and I had to make a speech. And I actually actually bombed it. No, I didn't allow myself to think about it too much because if I thought about it, then my stomach would start hurting and the nerves would set in. Precisely. So I just ignored it until they called me up. And I was the first that one that went. It's like I just want to get it over with. What did you say in the car the other day? What do you say whenever you have to do hard things? I'm gonna be in heaven someday. It's like basically like who cares. That's how I got through my speech class in college. Like, you know what? One day I'll be dead and gone. And this worldly stuff doesn't matter. But it does matter to get up there and do that speech, everybody. I did bomb my college speech though, and people did laugh. They did. That's embarrassing. Like laugh it not at me, but like it was a friendly laugh, but you know, I did for sure bomb it. What did you end up with in the class? I think I got a C on that one. Okay. Final exam. C's get degrees. It was an impromptu speech. So they gave me a slip of paper as I was walking up to the front, and I had to speak on I would have kept walking out the door. Yeah. Thank you, miss. Thank you. See you at graduation, maybe. That's actually, I would never be able to do that. Yeah, I tried to start spewing stuff. It turns into a rap. And I got like a couple sentences in. It's always the so yeah. Whenever you end something. And that's when there were some chuckles. That's it's like, I wonder if she has self if she has self-confidence. And then it's like you end a sentence with so yeah. It's just like no. Yeah, I did not have any confidence in that speech. Yeah, that's how you know. That's a telltale sign. I'm trying to think back to my speech class. I know it was baloney. That was the worst part of college. I agree. I get in my head when I get up there, like I I resonate with like the two sentences. Like you are like on a roll. You're like, dude, and then I'm like, I'm standing in front of the court. Exactly. And I have an out of body. And then your voice starts sounding like and like you don't, you're like, wait, hold on a second. I'm really doing this right now. I'm in it. And then you lose everything because you're like screwing around in your head. Yes. That's what I was praying that I that didn't happen for Shelby's wedding. Because sometimes, like, whenever I'm talking, I'll just whatever. Have an out-of-body experience, and then I won't remember what I'm talking about. Why can't we talk normal? And it didn't happen. I kept my place in my cool in my paragraphs, and I got through it. It was pretty short though. I told her it was gonna be short and sweet and to the point. Where's that from? And then they run and hug. I don't know. What movie is that from? Bride Wars? No, it's like short, sweet, and to the point. Oh, it's from Dear John. It's from Dear John when John writes her the like I love you on like a paper and like leaves it or on the trash whenever he goes to Savannah's house and visits, and like it's just Tim there. He's like, Well, you can leave her in note if we want to. And then he writes, I love you on the note. And then she comes. Let's see if Demi got it right. Oh, she said she's still thinking. Anyways. So this week we celebrated grandma's birthday. For those of you who know Judy, you love her. If you know her, to know her is to love her. Sorry, I'm like giving the most random updates because I'm just looking at it. How was it? And how was the party? Oh, uh oh, you mean at grandma's house? I was just looking at the pictures of us at dinner. Oh party went well, the World Cup, Argentina. Is that the finale? Yes. What's the other team? Spain, they won. It was actually I'm I have a little bit of regret. Not watching because it was kind of fun. I don't even know what channel that comes on. The problem, me neither. I don't know. Soccer channel. I have no idea where where on Roku could I watch that? The issue that day for me was I had something wrong with my eye and I couldn't wear my contacts that day, but I also I couldn't bear another second with my glasses on. And guys, if you guys wear glasses, sometimes if your glasses are too big or if they're too loose, they're just like you're navying. Because your head feels so big, it's aching. You can't hold up your glasses too much of a lot of it. I needed honestly, like my glasses are pretty lightweight, but I did have VHS. I usually don't have VHS with the glasses I have now. But the glasses I had before were way too big, like big frame and too big for me. Slad. Yeah. But I didn't have my contacts in, so I like had to be inches from the screen. We were watching in the living room. Me, Mary and Blake were watching the living room. And so it was smaller TV. They were all out in the Florida room watching it. But I couldn't see the ball. So I was like, where did that go? Who made the go? And yeah. But it was fun. I'm like easy to follow. This was kind of fun. Blake was yelling things that I've never heard. I didn't know he was into soccer. There was this specifically made me laugh. Blake kept saying, freak it! Freak it! And I'm like, what is a freak hit? Like, I thought like it was like a freak accident. Like, so I was like, oh dang. So like they must have like got a like a freak hit. Blake was saying free kick. Huh? Free kick. And I was like free kick. Because I asked him, I asked Blake, I'm like, what's a freak hit? He's like, what? And then I realized that he was saying a free kick. I was like, oh.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_01So I don't got free kick. What is a free kick then? Like a like a whenever maybe a penalty. Some basketball people do a free throw? I possibly. Not sure. Like something of that extent. Like something goes wrong. Field goal. And then the other person gets a free kick. I see. So maybe like a field goal. Yeah. Equivalent. Field kick. Yeah, it was really cool watching that. And I I should have watched the rest of the episode. Maybe I can start from episode one. Season one, episode one. Game one, episode one, season one. When did America get kicked out? Girl, I don't know. True. Girl, I don't know. I know when the UK or England or whoever that whatever. Whatever they they it was funny because our head office was in town and like they had the game on at work, and that's when they lost, actually. But another life update is well, nothing. Well, that's it. Yeah, um, I just have screenshots of different recipes for pineapple refreshers. I went to the gym today, I had a good little leg session. I was a big girl, and I asked, I asked a question that I've been wanting to ask for about three years now. And I asked if I was able to work out in the like auditorium room, basically like the big room with mirrors. And I was so scared for whatever reason that they were just gonna tell me no. And I finally asked, she's like, Yeah, you can go in there. I was like, so I did like lunges. I left the gym shaking, so that's a good sign. Did my little grocery shopping, dropped those off, and now I'm here. I really don't have any cool life updates. I probably did other stuff this week, but it doesn't matter. Yeah, all I did this week was the wedding and vacation. Loki fell like I was going on their honeymoon because it was with them, but it was not. It was like a bigger group thing, so I didn't feel weird. But yeah, that's all I did. And now I'm back here. Glad you're back. Anywho, what kind of mess around are we getting into? So today we're messing around with a this or that. I love these kind of questions. I love a this or that. I do too, but it stresses we come up with a third option that appeals both ends. You too. Like, well, hear me out. What if we Okay, so this and this, but with this clause. Okay, so this is just kind of a stupid list that I found. And uh, we're just gonna do a little this right there. Sorry for any listeners with headphones. Okay, so would you this is see, these are already dumb. Okay, your socks that you're wearing for the day. Would you rather have them slightly damp all day or oh shoot, I was gonna say, or full of dog hair. Dog hair because your feet will get soggy and you'll get swamp foot. Ew. That sounds like a fairy tale or a myth. Or blackfoot or something like that. That's nasty. Do you want to answer that or should I come up with one for you? We can just like answer each other's, and then like you'll ask me the next question. I cannot stand hair in my socks. Oh, in it? Yes. Oh, I'm just gonna do that. What did you think I meant? Full of dog hair on the outside of it. No. Well, I would say. Outside, inside, intertwined in the the textile. I feel like I'm going dog hair or slightly damp. It's not all the way damp, it's just ever so slightly damp. Girl, I got creams. Okay, ask me what. Okay, so with the shopping cart, would you rather one squeaky wheel or one wheel that keeps locking up? It's like dragging. So because both of them shout out Walmart. They can appease both sides of this. I will say my shopping cart in Aldi was a dream today. Okay, so I'm gonna go squeaks. That's hard because I hate attention on myself and like everyone looks at you. You know, I'm gonna go one wheel that locks up. That's my final answer. Because like no one's looking at you. It's just me that has to battle silently with it. Like it's a silent battle, and I'll kick the crap out of that shopping cart to try to get it to go. Whereas But it's not going to. It just locks up. Like it maybe like keeps walking up. I can kick it and like really push it. And maybe if I just need like things in the front of the store, like that kind of idea. I think I can get through that. If the card is squeaking, people are looking at me. And like I'm just imagining people in Walmart looking at me, and like I don't want that kind of idea. I don't care. I'm I'm going I'm going wheel. I well, they're both about the wheel, but I would do squeak. Because that dragging sound wouldn't like that.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_01With your pillow. Do you want it to be like permanently the warm side, like the icky side? Or do you want it to just be completely flat? Probably the warm side. I don't ever flip my pillow anyway. Flip side of my pillow. That's right. Uncle Cracker. Question mark. Question mark. Completely unaware. So you're going warm. I would be warm. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I don't ever flip my pillow too because it's too warm. I don't think I do either. Come to think of it. I flip my pillow because it gets too flat. Then there's your answer. Okay. Sorry. That was a weird laugh. Sorry for any listeners. Okay. With a t-shirt, would you rather scratchy tag on your neck?
SPEAKER_00Ooh. Or inside out. Inside out. Me as well.
SPEAKER_01It's a lick. Yeah. Fashion form where it could make it a thing. But with the scratchy tag, it's just gonna tear me off all day. Okay. Okay. Oh my gosh, these are all like so bad. Okay, your blanket. Would you rather it be two inches too short? Or always have the static shocks? Like anytime like you move, it's gonna static shock you like kind of bad. Like that's a bad one. Like popping your legs and your toes and stuff. I think I would probably still go with the static shock. At least you're warm. Yeah. My toes are now and I'm cold. Okay. I think I would do I think I'm gonna do two inches too short. Because hear me out. I sleep in a fetal position. Well, not totally you. Not totally fetal. But my knees are up-ish. So I feel like I can get by like that extra two inches. I'm making so like Yeah, I'm not really sleeping with my legs stretched out. Like a little frog. Avocados. Let's talk. Would you rather them always rock hard or turning brown immediately? Like whenever you open them. Gotta be quicker than that. I think I'm gonna go brown. Me too. Because those rock hard avocados are disgusting. I'd rather eat a rotten avocado, I think, like with the black spots. The hard ones are like watery and like they're just terrible. The weirdest texture because it looks perfect and you think it's gonna be like this creamy bite. Yes. Yes. So headphones. Well, this only applies to like wired headphones. But the left side, would you rather the left side always slightly quieter or constantly entangled headphone wires? Constantly tangled because that did happen to me where one of them was slightly quieter, and that drove me. It's like the same thing. Like, is my ears going bad or yeah. Okay. If it's tangled, I'll still use them.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01A troop.
SPEAKER_00Okay. Be debt free or have your dream home.
SPEAKER_01And you're not debt free. I'm choosing debt free. I don't want to be in debt. But you might not like you might live in something that's not. That wasn't explicitly said. That was implied. You're implying that right now. No, it's implied. I can live in an average. Or have your dream home. So it's not gonna be your dream home. I know it's not gonna be my dream home, but if it's just like a regular daggular, if I'm living in a cardboard box. If I'm living in a cardboard box, then it's like I'm picking to be in debt with my dream home. But it's like if I'm living in a condo, like just an average home, I'm choosing debt-free every time. Because then I can like live the lifestyle that I want. Like just because I'm in a nice house, like, okay, you spent all of this money to either build a nice house or buy this nice house, and you can't do you can't leave the house because you have no money. I'd rather be the opposite. I'm not gonna drive a nice car and pull into a shack. You know what I mean? Yeah. I'm gonna I'm gonna live in a shack and be in Greece every summer. Exactly, my girl. And I feel like that's smart. Yeah. Shout out Dave Ramsey. Shout out. Live like no other so you can live like no other. Beans and rice and rice and beans. Yada yada. Me with no money. I mean, I just went. Okay, this one is okay. Butter. Rock hard on soft bread, or always having just completely melted liquid. Oh. I thought you were gonna say room temperature. No, girl, that's too that's too good. Um I guess I'll have to do the hard butter. But it tears up my bread. Exactly. That's why they said on soft bread. Like you're gonna have bread balls by the time you're done. Yeah, I would still do the hard bread. Because if you do the melted butter, then everything is soggy. I think that I would get my little soft bread and I would dip ski in the butter, in the melted butter. I think that would be my new way of approaching it. True. Maybe I'll switch and do that and add some herbs. Exactly. Those are the clauses that we're talking about. Maybe some herbs. Italian seasoning. You know, the little olive oil situation. Okay. Ooh, okay. This is for travel. Would you rather do one luxury vacation a year or four budget trips? Hmm. What entail like what is a budget trip? Like, you don't stay in a super nice place. You can't eat out every night. Sometimes you have to make stuff at the house. Like it's just you can't do exactly what you want. You don't really do the excursion. I'm doing one nice trip a year. Yeah. Me too. And then yeah, one nice trip a year. I I just got so conf Did you see my face? I just got really confused because this is a screenshot from earlier. And I thought that the time right now is 2 47. I'm like, what where am I? I just was so confused. Did I miss work? Yeah, I was like, did I leave work early? What's happening? So would you rather have one straight eyelash in your eye always? Or your hair always in your face? What way is the straight eyelash going? Straight up, straight down? Straight in your eye. Straight out. Straight in your eye. I would rather have my hair in my face at all times. It already is. Don't make no difference to me. What do you say about the price of cheese? Don't got nothing to do with the price of cheese. I feel like I would do the same because do you remember when I had you try to trim my eyelash because it was like growing opposite into my eye? That was heck. It really hurt. Like not hurt, but it irritated my eyes so much. Yeah, that would drive me crazy. Was it my turn to ask you? No. It's my turn. Only listen to one artist forever. Or never hear the same song twice. Only listen to one artist. So you can only listen toe John Mayer. Or never hear the same song twice. Ooh, that's hard. Because there are certain songs where I'm like, yo, hold on, let me rewind that part. Like that was groovy. I'm gonna go with never listen to the same song twice. I don't think I would do that. I would just put John Mayer up. See, but that's my personality because I listen my thing is I listen to the same like 10 artists at all times. I really don't listen to new music, but it's like I'm chasing that, like, you know, like when you hear a good song and it's just like your favorite song. It's like unless like there's one artist that everything they have is a banger, I feel like I would have to do the new song so I can always like chase that next. But you never get to experience it again. I guess beauty and not. I don't know. That one's like actually has me torn. I really don't know with that. Okay, so with your chairs, would you rather one leg shorter? Oh, that's stupid. Well, okay. One leg shorter than the other, which that always happened in school. Like there was one leg you can just go like go back and forth. Or it's constantly squeaking like when you move your back. One leg shorter. I'll play around with it and put my foot flop under it. You can't, it's just always gonna be shorter. Well, then I would still do it shorter. I hate when a chair squeaks. Yeah. My chair at work is actually crazy. I've tuned it out so I like I don't even hear it anymore. But then I come to and then I realize I'm like, this is so bad. It bothers me, it bothers everyone around me. Yeah. Would you rather have perfect skin or perfect hair? Oh my gosh. I don't know. I have both those things now. And I know how much of a blessing both of those things are. Both. No, I don't know. Because like the way the question is asked, like, is it implied that I have imperfect skin or is it just like what I have now?
SPEAKER_00It implies that you have imperfect skin.
SPEAKER_01Like maybe sometimes maybe sometimes it is it is perfect and sometimes it's not like okay. Because I feel like like with my skin now, I feel like I can get away with that and have beautiful, luscious hair. I think I might go with hair. I just want nice hair. Like this is about see that this is why I can't play these games because I get too stressed out, and then I leave mad. Like I should have said this. Yeah, it's like, girl, calm down. What would you choose? Give me your like pros and cons. Maybe I'll see I don't know because I would love to have perfect skin because this weekend, or yeah, for the wedding, I received a huge pimple right before. So I did not have perfect skin for that, and it kind of ruined my night. I felt like everyone talking to me was just looking at my pimple. I can assure you they were not. But also my hair got frizzy, so I didn't have either that night, and I felt not my best. But I've gotten by with my hair being imperfect. But also, if you look amazing and then your hair is not great, that can change everything. Have you ever heard like the three? The makeup? Yes. Maybe I already talked about this here, but yeah, you have to always at least have two of the three done. So either your hair and makeup done, and then you have an ugly outfit, or ugly hair, and then ugly, but yeah, not done. I got confused because I was gonna say the same thing. You guys get what I'm trying to say. It doesn't matter. One of the three. Just have two of the three done. Oh yeah, sorry. Okay, I think I might do skin. Okay, she's going skin. I'm going skin. So would yeah. This one's so relevant. Your cereal, would you rather have it socky in two seconds or tearing the roof of your mouth? Tearing the roof of my mouth. Captain Crunch. I was gonna say Captain Crunch. That junk always tore at my mouth. Yes, but it was great. The thing with Captain Crunch, do you remember the milk? How it would like curdle? Yes. That was weird. But you know, the frosted flakes are good, but they get soggy too quick, and then I don't like them. What I came with cereals for a bowl of frosted flakes with ice cold milk. If they could eat in like three minutes, if they can make the frosted flakes half sweet, I'd start dabbling in those again. I haven't eaten cereal in a long time. Bro, how do we not have more issues? The cereals, which was crazy because mom was a crunchy mom, but for a while there, she let us go pretty rogue. We ate a lot of those cereals at grandma's no, but mom would buy rice krispies, which life hack, just add three to five tablespoons of sugar. Which we did. Yes. And it's like, yeah, rice krispies are fine, whatever. I'm sure they're not great, but there's no slight Harley, nothing in there. And then we would add so much sugar. Oh my gosh. And then like frosted flakes, I felt like frosted flakes. The only cereals that she would get is frosted flakes, rice crispies, and Cheerios. And sometimes the Captain Crunch. Yeah. On the special weeks. Yes. Grandma always had them cocoa puffs on lock, though. I could always count on Juge for some cocoa puffs. Cocoa puffs are so good. And then my mom tried to give us some cocoa bumpers when public. Which were the green wines organic. They were good though. And now I would appreciate them. I'd be like, okay, these are amazing. As a child, and your grandmother's giving you cocoa puffs and your mom's giving you green washing. I can't. I didn't love. I did. They didn't hit the same. No, they didn't. They didn't melt in your mouth the same. Like it just wasn't the same as a cocoa puff. But I would never buy cocoa puffs. Did you like fruity pebbles? Ew, no. Me neither. Cocoa pebbles were fine. Cocoa Pebbles were delocious. We didn't really eat that much different cereals. Cookie crisps. I don't like once. Ever remember having those. I didn't know my mama didn't let me have those. I said the word delocious. You know what show we need to rewatch? Is March and Rack. Straight up Delocious. Straight up delicious. That was such a good show. John Rafio, is that his name? Yeah. John Raphael, why you like this? Pills, baby. I feel like that show's a lot better than The Office. Well, that's a tough topic. Would you rather The Office or this sounds like Hinge? This is like the questions that they ask on there. Unpopular opinion. Oh, The Office is better. Yucky. If that's on your profile, PSA, delete it. If you put pineapples on your pizza on your profile, delete it. Delete it. If you have a picture of you fishing and holding up a fish, delete it. I can't even think of another one. Uh if physical touch is your love language. Delete it. Whenever it says I'm like, no. Disgusting. No, no, no. Not touching you. That's not your love language. You're just sick. Yeah. Exactly. Okay. So coughing. Coughing? Yes. Would you rather always I'm trying to like make these, I'm trying to tweak these off the top of my head to make them more gross and stuff, but I won't do that. Okay, coughing in a dead silent room or during a speech uncontrollably. Probably a dead silent room. Even if you got that deep cough. Yes. Ew. Okay. I kept having to cough the other night. I think it was I was on our trip, and like there's other people staying in the house, and I kept having to cough. Like so that was pretty miserable. So I don't know what I would do there. Give up dessert or give up coffee forever. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Don't freaking ask me these kind of things, bro.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_01Dessert or coffee. I'm gonna go with. Does a banana nut muff like is that dessert or is that just like breakfast? If you would indulge in it, like it's just a sweet treat that you would love to indulge in, and you I would say Okay, I have arguments for both sides. So the thing with the coffee, okay, you can make you can have a dessert coffee. If you put all the fru fru well foams, all of that. But I'm saying it's your coffee, but you can like treat it as your dessert if you put in like 10 pounds of cold foam, caramel, latte, drizzle, whatever. Moco chocolate, yeah, yeah. Cream lady, creole, cream of wheat, creole lady mammal. What's I don't even have those lyrics. Oh, that was my train of thought. You can make you can make a dessert, a coffee, a dessert. But the options are endless with desserts. You can have espresso cake, you can have pies, you could have cheesecakes, you can make those coffee flavored. Yeah. So it's like I I've I'm waving my white flag on that one. I don't know. So if we're just talking like morning coffee versus splendid dessert, are you talking like that? What's the time? How long have we been working on? I don't know. I forgot to hit the thing. I don't know. I would give up coffee before I gave up dessert. Wow, coming from the coffee girl. Yes. I the other night. Okay, then is that is that your answer? That's my answer too. I got a cheesecake and I eat it by the ocean. Cake by the ocean? Exactly. Okay, you're gonna be a different type than what Joe is doing, but I actually we won't go into detail there. I thought that song was truly about dessert. No, it's not. It was delicious. I had to go to a private little spot. Horse that down. You know when what dog am I thinking of? Didn't we used to have a dog that like, was it Sadie with the chicken that she was eating? Chicken Parmesan? Like she was what dog am I trying to? I think I'm thinking of a video, actually. That's when I imagine you over behind rocks on the beach horsing down a piece of cheesecake. Oh, it was so that sounds divine. So no, I'm not giving up dessert. I think I want to add that to my summer bucket list. You know how I said I want a watercolor by the beach? I actually want to eat some sushi and some cheesecake and good thing I was by myself. That is so funny. Okay. A big backyard or a big kitchen, or a big bag. But it's not a cheesecake, you might go with the third one. Honestly, that'd be fun. Okay, big backyard or big kitchen. Well, for my own sake, if I didn't have dogs, probably big kitchen. But because I have two dogs, I would say big backyard and you know, potentially children in the future. Potentially. That's so hard because I follow this girl on YouTube and I've been watching her videos. She's really cute. I'll have to send you her. But she has like the most amazing garden. So to like to have space, yeah. I would love to have a garden and just go out there and get my broccoli and carrots. So I don't even eat that vegetables like that. Um, I just remember that I forgot to tell mom to water my flowers. D-E-A-D, boy. I hope she remembers. Um but the thing is, is like with all those veggies I'm I'm harvesting, like I can't come in and cook that in a bubble-sized kitchen. Yeah. That's tough. Because I'm not tidy whenever I'm in the kitchen messing around. I I need some space. Because I will junk that up. I feel like I'll go big backyard. No, no, no, sorry.
SPEAKER_00Big kitchen, medium sized backyard. Yes. Big back. And a big back. Okay. Oh me. Yeah. This episode's gonna be like two hours long, and we just keep going.
SPEAKER_01Which is too fun. Okay, this is for like if you're getting proposed to one day. Would you rather know your spouse's proposal plan or be completely surprised? Alyssa, that makes my stomach hurt. Because I hate surprises. Oh. You have the wrong sister. I know. Stay giving you surprises. I know. And that's why you have the wrong sister because I hate surprises and I never surprise you. And you love surprise ruins. Yeah. I'm not good at them either. I think for that specific thing, I think I want to be, can I say mostly surprised? Like you kind of like expect that it's coming soon, but not exactly when. Exactly. Do you want to know that he bought the ring? Um honey, if you're listening to this, sweetie. I don't know. That's too much for me to think about. It's gonna send me in a spiral, so I have no idea. Genuinely. Like I need to. He hasn't bought it yet. He hasn't bought it yet, so I can rest in that, but I think that I I don't want to know when he buys it. I just need to know what he bought. Really? You'd want to know that doesn't even make sense. Absolutely. Do not surprise me with a ring. I need to pick out my ring. If you're listening to this, future husband. I need you to talk to my sister, talk to my friends, talk to my sister. I don't need to talk to me. No, you send me a Pinterest board and then future guy, you talk to me directly. Honestly, just I want to talk. You send me a picture. Me and my husband will have direct a direct conversation about this. I don't want anyone to surprise me with a ring that they think I like. They picked out for me. That's very sweet and meaningful, but I personally don't want that. I want I'm not asking for this humongous ring. I don't care about that. But I have a very I am so picky about things and I want to pick my own ring. Don't surprise me. You can surprise me with the engagement. You know what? That'll be how I how I go about that. So totally surprised engagement. Totally surprised engagement. All of that can be a surprise if I have the say in the ring that I'm getting. Bang. That's what I'll do. I want to be totally surprised. And with the ring? I think. Well, like I'll have like some inspo pictures, but if he sees something that makes him think of me, like, oh, she would love this. It reminds me of her. Then I would want that. What if he has bad style though? Then he wouldn't be my fiance. You don't know that though. I have 3% on my phone, so when it trusts we have to be done. It trusts that he would know what I like. Okay. You're making an assumption that the person you marry would not know what you like. Would you know what I want? Oh no. Exactly. And I've been you've been with you since day one. Would you rather know your future or relive your past? Honestly, relive my past. Now, honestly, I'm trying to be a baby again. For real. I had a pretty decent childhood. I love that crap. That's tough. Yeah. I would love to relive my past. I know a lot of people that's not what they want, but I had a great past. But knowing my future, I feel like might hinder me in the things that I do.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Even though it would be nice to know, hey, you are actually gonna get married one day and stuff. But I think that wouldn't be helpful for me. As much as I pray about it, and like, Lord, show me what's next. Tell me where you need me to be, all of that, I think I would relive my past as well because I know that I loved my childhood. I know that like I would be secure there. And like you don't know what the future holds for you. Yeah. If it's something that you don't want to see, like then you can't relive your past. Yeah. That's not maybe that's not in the clauses here, but yeah, I'm not like I ain't trying to like if the future's not exactly what you wanted, then nor is it promised. It's like tomorrow I could be off of this earth. In like the future, I wake up and it's like God, God shows me. It's like, all right, yep, here's the future. And it's just like five. Okay, I'm actually about to make myself spiral. But I was gonna say it. It could be like five minutes from now. Who knows what will happen to me? Yeah, we're gonna end that conversation because I can't do that right now. Lord, put a hedge of protection around us this evening and forevermore. Forevermore. Let's each do one more because this is getting kind of long.
SPEAKER_00Would you rather? Dang, hold on. I need to find a really good one to end on. Yeah, I know. Me too. Now I have pressure. Ooh, these are all so good.
SPEAKER_01I feel like we need this is might be just like really boring to people to listen to, but I think things like this are fun to listen to. I feel like in the future we need to do another episode on this. I would hold on. I don't know what I'm about to say. I would rather I just started spewing something. Would you rather?
SPEAKER_00Oh no, I'm not gonna do that one.
SPEAKER_01Would you rather work your dream job for average pay or an okay job for great pay? Average pay.
SPEAKER_00Dream job. But the other is not a horrible job, it's an okay job. I would Do I like it? It's okay. You don't, it's not like amazing, it's not terrible. I would work an okay job for great pay.
SPEAKER_01What are we talking hourly here? Salary? What? I don't know. It has great pay. I need numbers. I don't know. I think that I would want to do the job that I love. Like I would love my job. And like I would have average pay. Like I would, it's good pay. It's not amazing. I can still get by. Like I just think that like any job is not gonna be amazing. Except for that one, your dream job. That's amazing. Yes. Oh my gosh, I can't wait to get away. In this scenario, yeah. You really because sometimes your dream job, you still have bad days at your dream job. They didn't say that. You're adding clauses. They didn't say that it's good all the time. They said you worked your dream job for average pay. Whatever, Lissa. I'll answer how you want me to answer. I'll get paid guapeton and have an ocean. Guapaton mion. Whatever. So you would what's your genuine answer? The dream job? Yeah. I think that's a load of crap. No. I genuinely would rat like I want to wake up and like be able to love what I do. But I I just feel like that brings you to a sense of. If you can work an okay job, you whatever. I work an okay job now.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01Hate my life. Bruh. But if I had Guapaton money, I'd take amazing vacations. I have a nice house, nice car. I can save my money too. And I can take time off. And take that one luxury vacation you promised me earlier in the episode. Once a year. So I already established the vacation part of it. Loopholes. Okay. Okay. Whatever. I can take luxury vacations four times a year. This is my last one. Would you rather be able to sing beautifully or speak every single language? Oof, that's tough. Because I have always wanted to sing. It would be unstoppable if I could sing voice. If I could sing, I probably wouldn't even sing in public because I'd still be like too shy to do it. Wasted talent. What was the other one? Be able to speak any language. Probably any language with all the traveling I'll be doing with my average job. In great pain. Me too. Me too. Alright, guys. Hopefully that wasn't just the longest, most boring episode you guys ever listened to. I just like it. It's fun. But this was fun talking to you guys. And I it's been almost a year, and like I still don't know how to end these episodes. So we're just gonna say bye. Bye.
