Welcome to the Enjoy God podcast from the Orchard Church. We're so excited for you to join us each episode as we sit down to have conversations about faith, discipleship, relationships, culture, and just what it looks like to follow Jesus in our everyday lives. At the Orchard Church, our mission is to make flourishing disciples through the enjoyment of God together. And honestly, that's really where this podcast comes from. We believe that God doesn't simply just want us to know things about him or go through the motions of following him, that he's created us to know him and he's created us to know him so well, so deeply and so intimately, that we actually are moved to deep enjoyment of him. That the way humans have been designed by God is to express value through delight so that we might be delighted in him and express and tell the truth about how good and glorious and majestic and beautiful he actually is. But you know, the question is, is like, what does that look like in real life? Like when you're going through the grind of doing the laundry or getting the kids to school or you got to go to work and do the presentation, what does it mean and feel like to enjoy God in those contexts? That's what we really want to talk about on this podcast. Over all the episodes that are coming up, you're gonna hear from different pastors and staff members, ministry leaders, people that we think you're just gonna be really interested to hear what they have to say so that they can help us understand how the enjoyment of God intersects with real life through practical conversations. Our hope is that in these conversations, we don't just give you more information about God, but that we actually help you get to know him more deeply and to enjoy him more fully. You see, our hope is that these conversations lead you to a deeper abiding in Christ and a more satisfying life in him. Now, this is produced by the Orchard Church. We're really unashamed by that. Uh, you know, and so all the credit and all the embarrassment we're gonna try you can attribute to the Orchard Church. But you don't have to be a part of the orchard to come along this journey with us. And in fact, we're kind of hoping uh to be able to meet some new friends and to have the opportunity to help more people be able to enjoy the Lord through this platform. And so we look forward to having some really great conversations ahead, and we can't wait for you to be able to join us in there. So, welcome to the Enjoyment of God with the Orchard Church.
