Want your next decade to feel like your best decade? We’re kicking off The Fourth Quarter Podcast with a clear, simple mission: help you become the healthiest version of you from the age of 60 and beyond—without extremes, shame, or confusing advice. We tell our origin story, talk about turning 60, and lay out a practical path where small steps, patience, and enjoyment lead to real change.
We unpack why so many people stall out in information overload and how to cut through it with action. If the gym drains you, we’ll help you build an outdoor routine you’ll love. If nutrition feels like all-or-nothing, we show you how to design a plan you can actually keep. Our format blends expert interviews, inspiring real-world examples, and something rare: live coaching with listeners who share their goals, struggles, and updates over time. You’ll hear honest progress, setbacks, and the exact adjustments we make so habits stick.
This first episode sets our core themes: consistency over intensity, finding joy in movement, sustainable nutrition, and a mindset grounded in meaning. We talk identity—why you don’t need the “athlete” label to train like one—and we dig into the power of patience and perseverance, especially when you’re starting from zero. We close on gratitude after a 50-year class reunion and a reminder that growing older is a privilege. A brief music segment with Forrest Frank’s “Thankful” anchors that note: notice the sun, the steps, the breath. Build from there.

Defining The Fourth Quarter
SPEAKER_02Welcome to the fourth quarter podcast with myself, Doug Telmich, and my co-host Ted Ania, all the way from Danville, California today. All right. Hey Ted, I am excited. This is episode one, season. I don't know if we're gonna do seasons and episodes and how we're gonna do all that. We'll figure that out later. But Ted, I am excited because you have chosen to step into being a beginner, being a beginner and trying something brand new in your fourth quarter. So speaking of fourth quarter, Ted, where did fourth quarter come from? Like for us, I mean, there's a lot of things out in the world today that have the label fourth quarter. But as you and I discussed and talked about and collaborated, this idea, fourth quarter seemed to be the perfect fit for this episode and for the shows to come. So tell us a little bit about Ted Ania and the fourth quarter. Where did that idea come from, Ted?
SPEAKER_03Fourth quarter came about organically just in a conversation with you and I. We talked about the lifespan of the average person being about 80 years, and you're entering your 60th year this year, and that was a big deal for you. And so we talked about not only how we wanted to live the fourth quarter, but how we extend the fourth quarter into overtime.
Doug And Ted’s Origin Story
SPEAKER_02Yes, yes, and I think we I had I was reading a book, it was a spiritual book, and it was and it broke down to me the quarters, like from the age of one or zero to twenty is first quarter, twenty to forty is second quarter, forty to sixty is third quarter, you know. So the last quarter is from age 60 to 80 years old. And I as you said, I'll be turning 60 this year, and I'm excited about learning about what people do in the fourth quarter and what we're gonna be doing in the fourth quarter. You are a decade, almost a decade into the fourth quarter. So let's let's talk a little bit about that, Ted. But but before we go any further, Ted, let's where did we meet and how did it like let's let people know since this is our first episode, how did this all come about? Where did Doug and Ted come from?
SPEAKER_03Doug's daughter and my daughter actually played soccer together 20 years ago. Yeah, hard to believe that's the case. That's crazy over 20 years ago. And just met Doug as a parent on the sideline and hit it off, got friendly, and then lost track of each other for a few years and somehow reconnected. I do a what I call a birthday challenge every year and invited Doug out to join me one year, and he came out for a couple of days of that. He mentioned to me that he was doing some health coaching. We discussed it to a small degree, but really didn't go into it in depth. And then in 2020, around COVID, when I stopped working, one of my daughters said, Why don't you do something that you really are passionate about? And one of the things I am passionate about is is health in myself and in others. And I remember the conversations with Doug from a couple of years prior, reached out to him and said, fill me in a little bit more about this health coaching that you're doing. And it's progressed from there.
From Coaching To Serving Others
Consistency Over Intensity
SPEAKER_02I remember that day, Ted. We were I remember doing the birthday challenges, and you know, it's really cool looking back, you know, going from just being invited to participate to I'm a centerpiece now, Ted. You know, I'm I'm a staple inside the birthday challenge. Or at least that's my opinion, anyways. It's it's no, no, no, that's that's true. Yeah, it feels good to plan with you and and and dream of some challenges and and just work through, you know, the details with you. But, anyways, um, I remember that day when we went on a hike and you you had questioned or asked, like, what's this whole health coaching about? And the thing that struck me, Ted, through that whole conversation, I man, it was a big hike that day. I remember I was pretty wiped. But we were sitting on the back of the car talking and chatting, and your passion and your desire and your questions were all about how can I serve others? How can I help others get what I have? Because you you have had this very massively consistent lifestyle of just mobility, being in movement, keeping in motion. And your nutrition wasn't terrible, but it wasn't, you know, it wasn't giving you the results that you had desired a little bit more. And so I remember connecting and having you get on the nutrition plan, and man, you knocked it out of the park. And then at that point, you were like, oh my gosh, this there's something here. And you started sharing with others and helping others. And but from day one, Ted, the one thing I want to highlight is just your your passion and your deep, deep desire to serve others. It's it's inspiring, it's motivational, and man, it's just it's just something I strive to be, to be like. I I see that in you, Ted. And you know, thank you for being that friend in my life who I can always look to and look at and just see that consistency doesn't take what's the word I'm looking for, it doesn't have to be extreme, it doesn't have to be, you know, intense. It just means doing it consistently, whatever it is, whether it's walking, weightlifting, cycling, eating, you know, how we nutritionally eat healthy consistently. And then those results come. They come. And so it's been a it's been a heck of a journey partnering with you in health for my own personal life and my own personal progress. I love that for gosh, what's it been, four or five years in the health area, health line that you and I connect almost uh weekly, religiously, and we talk about each other's, you know, what our goals are. Consistently, consistent, yes, and that's huge, you know. It's it's funny. It in the beginning, it started out as me coaching you and leading you a little bit here and there. And and now, Ted, man, when I pick up the phone, I'm like, okay, well, you know, how's Ted going to inspire me? How's he gonna move me? And yeah, and of course, I'm I'm pushing you sometimes too, but it's nice to have that call and that connection where we're learning from each other. And man, I'll tell you guys, uh everyone listening, just tune in because I have the privilege of connecting with this man every week. And sometimes he just drops a little quote from back in the day or from somewhere, and it's just man, it's it changes your psychology. It changes there's a shift that happens in your soul and it makes you think a little deeper. And man, I appreciate that about you, Ted. I'm really excited about sharing those little tidbits with uh with an audience now, too. Well, you're you're setting a high bar here. I don't play, Ted. I don't play. You know how it is. You remember, I got you to ride the coast with me. Or actually, you got me to ride the coast with you, if we're being honest. You know, I do a podcast now. I do another podcast with a friend of mine who you've met, Daryl Gannis, and him and I do a show called Peach Podcast with Doug and Daryl. And you know, we have fun doing it. Again, it was a taking on a challenge, trying to be beginners, trying to do something new. And you've been a you've been a consistent listener and you've offered feedback along the way, and it and we always appreciate any kind of feedback you give us. And one day out of the blue, you called me and said, Hey, I have an idea I want to run by you. And what was that idea, Ted? And and where did that idea what motivated or sparked that idea and what made and what's brought you to this day?
Broadening Beyond Extreme Athletes
SPEAKER_03Well, uh the biggest thing was I I listened to the Peach Podcast religiously, and if listeners out there haven't heard it, it's it's great. It's two guys that are just unbelievable athletes and really push themselves to the limits. And one of the things that came across to me was their audience has gotten to a point where it's extreme athletes, and I don't say that in a negative way, it's just these guys are pushing themselves beyond doing the death ride, doing climbing a mountain in Hawaii a few weeks ago on their bikes, doing some some very amazing things. But I thought, how do we bring this down to the people more like myself that are normal athletes that are active but aren't doing extreme things, came to you with with that idea of how do we how do we do this, how do we widen the audience that you have a little bit, or broaden it, to people that can relate more to the things that I do versus the things that the two of you do. And so that that was kind of the genesis of it, how we we got started and what the idea was. As we spoke more about it and decided, you know, let's let's move forward with this, then it was what's the format going to be? How are how are we going to do this? Doug and I can entertain each other for hours on end, but we want to bring this to people that that can be entertaining, educational, inspirational, motivational, and and how do we do that? And so we've come up with a format that we think may cover all of those things. And we're we're excited to get into it and see where it leads us.
Athlete Identity For Every Body
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I love that, Ted. And and you know, I love that you used the word athlete, and and you know, when you had called me one day and said, Hey, you and Daryl, you guys are extreme athletes. You know, I remember sharing that with Daryl too. And the first time I heard it from you, I'm like, what's he talking about? Like, this is just what we do, you know. But looking back and getting connected to that word consistent again, you know, Daryl and I are doing stuff today that we didn't we weren't doing when we first started this podcast, you know, and so but when you show up and you have a consistent plan, things change and things evolve. So, how does that impact or how does that show up in the fourth quarter podcast that we have right now? I think, I believe, you know, you use the word athlete, and I want to be very, very, very clear to the audience listening. If you don't have that label in your mind or in your heart and you don't think you're an athlete, but you desire better health, this show is for you. Because I think one of the things when I talk deeply with Ted, when I talk, when I peer into his heart and and and peel back the curtain, Ted wants to help somebody who just wants to get better. He does. That's that's his mission, that's what he lives for. He wants, he sees someone or he'll have a conversation. Ted, I've heard you had many conversations with people where someone is saying, Oh gosh, man, I can't believe you walked that many steps, or I can't believe you did that many push-ups. And I wish I could do that. And the moment you hear that, I see you light up and I see you break it down in your brain, and you kind of simply just think you can, but it's not gonna start with a hundred push-ups. You know, it's not gonna start with 20,000 steps in in one day. You know, it's gonna start with one push-up and one step. And I love how you are able to break that down and help people see a strategy that's realistic to them, very attainable, and they get started. I've had the pleasure of listening to you work with work with people and help them get moving again and help them see that I can achieve this. And I think one of the things we're probably going to tackle and and unpack on the fourth quarter podcast is just patience and perseverance, right? Because when someone sees Ted Ania walking 100,000 steps for a birthday challenge in a day in 24 hours, you know, they're like, Man, I can't ever do that. I can't ever do that. And the truth of the matter is there was a day Ted couldn't do that either. There was a day he couldn't do that either. And but he had a plan, he had a purpose, and he stuck to the plan. And bam, next thing you know, on one of his birthday challenges, he's out there walking 100,000 steps in 24 hours. And that man, if those of you I've walked, what's the most I've walked with you, Ted? Like 20,000 steps or something like that, or 20 miles, or I don't know. It's crazy. 20 miles. Yeah. And that just, I mean, I'm beat, I've run a marathon and didn't feel as sore. So, you know, 100,000 steps is is freaking, it's insane. And, you know, lots of kudos to you, Ted. But I love your ability and your instinct and your wherewithal, whatever it takes, how your brain works, you have this gift of helping people see the next step. The next step. So patience and perseverance is going to be a big underlying tone with the fourth quarter podcast for people who are sitting on the couch and want it and want to get healthier, or for the person who has the label of athlete but wants to take it to another another level in the fourth quarter, because how that looks from between 60 and 80 years old is a whole lot different between, you know, than it is when you were between 20 and 40 years old, or be even between 40 and 60 years old. I mean, my training and the things that I put myself through now have, I wouldn't, I don't want to say they've drastically changed, but there have been some major changes on how I train today as someone who's approaching 60, as opposed to just five years ago when I was, you know, 55 years old. Yeah, it's it's just a different, different world today. So I'm excited about we're gonna be bringing on Ted, why don't you tell us a little bit about some of the idea, the format?
Start Small And Enjoy The Work
SPEAKER_03First, first of all, go just going back to your point about training differently, it's it's a real positive with all the information that's out there nowadays. It it's great. There's nutritional information, exercise information, all of that's there. But I think at times there's so much information out there that it becomes overwhelming. And you and I have discussed this that sometimes it's paralysis by analysis. You you see so much information that you just don't know where to start. And the bottom line is you you just have to start. You know, the small steps, the small steps still move you forward. You just need to get out there and get moving, and the rest of it will sort itself out. The biggest thing, whether it's nutrition, whether it's exercise, you have to find something that you enjoy that you can do long term. I can't stand going into a gym. Right. I want to be outside. I want to, I want to exercise outside. I've got friends that love nothing more than being in the gym. They they don't want to, or not that they don't want to be outside, but they like going to the gym. They like the camaraderie in the gym, whatever it is. If that's what motivates you to do it, that's what you need to do. If someone sits there and tells you you've got to go into the gym, you've got to walk 45 minutes on the treadmill every day, and you don't like walking 45 minutes on the treadmill every day, well, how long do you think that exercise is going to last? But if you say, Man, I love going outside, I love being outside and walking around my neighborhood, and that's gonna get you to go out and walk around your neighborhood every day, that's what you need to do. Same with with nutrition. You you can't have something that somebody tells you you need to do this, you need to give up everything that you enjoy because it's just not gonna last long. So you you have to find something that you enjoy, that you're passionate about, that's fun. After all, we all we all want to have fun. And you know, even when it comes to this podcast, that's that's kind of been the underlying theme. When we were coming up with the format, the bottom line is we've got to have fun. People listening have to enjoy it, have to have fun. And so we we need to always keep that in mind that if you're not doing something you're enjoying, you're just not gonna do it very long.
Information Overload And Action
SPEAKER_02Right. It's not gonna last. Boom. I mean, that's that's so vital. That's so vital at any stage in the game. And I think a lot of people, even young people, you know, if they could really grasp that, you know. But I think people who are approaching their fourth quarter of their life, you know, between 60 and 80 years old, you know, I think we're ready. We're at that phase in our lives where we don't, we're not caring too much more about other people's opinions anymore, what other people have to say. We're ready to settle into our zone, stay in our lane, and just do things because we enjoy doing them. And if we can be purposeful and intentional about what we're doing to serve a bigger goal, a better lifestyle, then hey, why not, right? Why not enjoy exercise? Right? Exercise back in the day when I was a young kid, that it meant it meant no pain, no gain, right? That's what I grew up with. And now today I enjoy when I go for a run. I'm not, you know, I I rarely focus on my pace. I'm just out there for the pleasure. I want to see the trees, I want to smell the air, I want to feel the cool breeze across my face, you know. And it's like, okay, I don't care how fast I'm running, I don't care what my heart rate is. I just want to just want to run and get out here and enjoy it. Or if I'm going for a walk or a ruck, more if I'm gonna do an exercise, you know, I'll it's great. I rarely, I haven't been to the gym in a in, gosh, a few years. I have weights, I have uh weights in my garage, so I do use weights, but a lot of times we have this little boy ball court out here and in on our property, and I'll just put together some kind of little routine and go do some lunges and some burpees, and you know, and I have the sun hitting me, and it's it's fun. I enjoy doing it and it feels good. So I appreciate that perspective, Ted, that yes, well you gotta have fun.
SPEAKER_03Especially now that what are we January 15th, we're recording this by January 9th, they say normally New Year's resolutions are uh actually uh National Quitter's Day is January's ninth, January 9th. Yeah, yeah. You know, and I I had seen a quote that that said, a new year begins when you decide to grow, not when the calendar changes. Oh, and and that really struck a a chord. It's like you start when you're ready to start, and once you you start, that's when you're going to grow, yeah, and and move forward with your your health. I love it. So forget the calendar, forget the new year's resolutions. It starts when you decide to make a change.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. See, that's what I'm telling you about, people. This is the Ted I'm talking about. All he just comes up with these quotes and these things and they stick. Man, a new year starts when you decide to grow. I love that. Hey Ted, so what's what's gonna be different about this podcast? A lot of podcasts are you know strictly informational, informational, informational, informational, or education or whatever. It's it's just putting out a lot of content, a lot of Information. They're great. I mean, I listen to a lot of podcasts like that to get information. But what's going to be a little different about our podcast? What's the format? What can listeners expect moving forward?
Fun As A Fitness Filter
Forget Resolutions Start When Ready
SPEAKER_03Sure. So again, when we were we were trying to come up with a format that we we felt would be entertaining to somebody listening, first thing was we didn't think it would be, we don't want to make it all about us. We don't want to sit here and and be preaching. We're not reinventing the wheel. We're we're we're taking in information from different podcasts, from books that we've read, kind of synthesizing it and and sending it out. So we kind of came up with a few buzzwords, if you will. We want it to be educational and informational. That's that's one part of it. So we're going to have guests on that are experts in their field. And we we've reached out to a number of people that have been willing to come on. We've got some guests, Linda and Jerry Blight. They've written a book called Fitting It All In, Adult Fitness, 40 to Forever. Nice. And they're going to join us in a few weeks. Looking forward to talking to them and hearing about what they discuss in their book. And then the other part of it is inspirational. We want to have guests on that are doing doing the things that we want to be doing through the fourth quarter and and beyond. And we've got we've got friends that one of them, their stepmom, is still hiking 10 to 12 miles a couple times a week with her hiking group. They're getting out there and doing it. We've had people that have overcome severe illnesses. Guest that was on the Peach Podcast that is just amazing, who is actually dying from disease and still gets out there and and exercises and does what he loves. We'd love to have him come on. And then the the third component is motivational. And this is a part that I'm really excited about is that we're going to have guests on that have come to us and said, We need some help. We need to be motivated. We we want to get healthy. We'll kind of go over their background as far as nutrition, fitness, what they're what they're doing currently, and then we'll put a program together for them that we'll share on the air with with the listeners. And then those people will come back periodically to share what they what their successes have been and actually what they're what they've struggled with. Because we've all struggled with with it. We all deal with something. And so we we want them to come back and say, hey, I've done this. I've started drinking 60 ounces of water a day. But where I'm really struggling is I'm not getting out and getting my exercise in on a regular basis. And we'll address that and we'll we'll follow their progress as they go. So they might come on every, you know, once a month for five or 10 minutes and just give us a quick update. Here's what I'm doing. This is what's working, this is what I'm struggling with. And that's really exciting. And that's something that we reach out to anybody in our listening audience that wants to be a part of that and reach out to us. We can give you our contact information at the end of the show or attach it to the podcast notes. You know, we we love helping. We and that's actually seeing it live and in color where we get we get to talk to these people and and get the feedback from them. It's great having experts on that will tell us this is what you need to do, get that information, that knowledge, but then actually talking to people that are doing it and having struggles and having successes and and moving forward. That's that's what really excites me about about the format.
The Show Format: Educate Inspire Motivate
SPEAKER_02That's that that's the one piece. I mean, all the other the other two components are things you can pick up on podcasts now. But the the part that I love as a as a life coach and a health coach is working with people who are willing to get up here, talk about what they want and what they're willing to do or not do. And also, like you said, this is not gonna be a podcast where we're just gonna be sharing the highlight reel. Like when people have setbacks or they're you're they're just making you know terrible choices here and there, you know, what's gonna be awesome is that we get to get on a call on a podcast and break it down and help them unpack that and help them break through and create a strategic plan to move through that. Because it happens. It happens to you, it happens to me. I mean, Ted, right? Every time you and I go on come back from a vacation, it's like another, okay, how are we gonna get back on track call, right? And so we understand that, you know, hey, we're not here to judge anyone, we're here to just help people understand that you're a human being. We all make mistakes, we all have setbacks, but if you're willing to put your hand out to receive a hand up, you know, you can get through, you can break through, and you can get to the other side. And it's just gonna, it's gonna take a little support, a little love, a little guidance. And being able to do that on a podcast and sharing, you know, where our audience can follow along with somebody and listen in and hopefully be inspired, encouraged, and learn something that may help them. Because they're gonna be, we understand there's gonna be people listening who might be too afraid to get on a podcast. So hopefully, the sharing or hearing someone's story, they're gonna be able to connect, relate, and make some progress anyways. And the way to contact us, there's in in the podcast, there is going to be a text link in every podcast that goes directly to Ted and I. We're the only ones who see it. And as a matter of fact, we won't receive your name, but you can put your name, you can type your name in there and you can type in your contact information and we'll reach out and and get to you. So there will be a link in this podcast in in every episode if you ever have the desire to reach out and want to be coached up, loved up, and move forward, man. We're we are we're here for it all. We are definitely here for it all. So, Ted, what what else is on your mind? What else can you share about this podcast? This is episode one. This we're just kind of shaking the tree a little bit and letting people know what they can expect and experience. What else is on your mind with the podcast?
SPEAKER_03Uh hopefully that we can inspire someone, like you said, someone that has no interest in being on the podcast, but is at home and it it takes um well, one of the things that we we want to do is talk to people that uh have completely different fitness levels. We'd love to get somebody that hasn't exercised in years and that has to start and take that first step. You know, some some may have some some health issues that they're dealing with, and we just get them up and get them moving and just whatever it takes to do that. We'll have others that exercise and are capable of doing more walking five miles, walking six miles, but struggle with other other parts. And so we we want to make it there, there's all all sorts of fitness levels out there, and we want to try and get people from all those different fitness levels both on the show and to relate to possibly somebody that comes on the show. Yeah, that's that's what I'm struggling with. Let me let me do that. Let me let me see if I can do what they're suggesting for them, yes, and doing it consistently.
SPEAKER_02I love it, I love it. You know, Ted, when we were coming up with the name for the podcast, uh it, you know, when it came, it came and we're like, that's it. And that and but there was a tagline that you wanted to go with the podcast. Tell us a little bit about the tagline and how it relates to everything we've been talking about just now.
Live Coaching And Follow Ups
SPEAKER_03The the tagline is creating the healthiest version of you that's different for everyone. Yes. You you look at the person that hasn't been off the couch in two years. What does healthy look like to you? What's the healthiest version of you? You're not you're not being compared to anyone, yeah. You're being compared to yourself, and that's all we're trying to do is get you healthier for you. I don't expect somebody to end up doing the death ride like like you do. If they have made on the couch or or you know, barely exercise, right? They're not competing with you, they're competing with themselves, and we just want them. Yeah, there's a classic line from Shawshank Redemption. It all comes down to simple thing get busy living or get busy dying. Oh, there we go again. There's another Ted, isn't it? You know, and it's just what you you want to live the fourth quarter, but how do you want to live it?
SPEAKER_02Yes.
SPEAKER_03I mean, do you want to exist or do you want to live? And that's a question only the person listening can can answer. But if you want to actually live it, we'd love to help and just get you to become the healthiest version of you. I love that.
SPEAKER_02If you want to live it, let us love you. Come on now. Come on, Ted. That's awesome, man. I really love that, Ted. And, you know, I love when you came up with that tagline, the healthiest version of you. And and the underneath, you know, the pillars of that really is about the individual. You know, where we're gonna really help you detach from comparative reality, you know, comparing yourself to other people and other ideals. Let's just let us help you unpack and break down what's meaningful and what matters to you and why. And why. You know, I've worked with people who just wanted to be able to hold their grandchild, you know, and that that's all they wanted. They didn't want to run a marathon, they didn't want to bike death ride or anything. They just wanted to be strong enough to hold their grandchild into their later years. And it's fun helping them achieve those goals. It's fun helping someone unpack what matters to them and what and why, what's the meaning behind it? Because once you find that meaning and that mat and why it matters, you know, it's game over. It's easy. You follow the we set up a plan, and then we're gonna insert and sprinkle in patience and perseverance. Those are two massive key components, especially if we're starting from scratch. If we're starting from zero, patience and perseverance and trusting the process. And you'll be amazed at what can happen, what you can achieve in just a few short weeks, a few short months, and a few short years. It's a whole you're living a completely different life.
Setbacks Without Shame
SPEAKER_03Yeah, there is there is one last piece too. I think we're we're both thinking the same thing. One last piece to the podcast uh is that at the end, we plan on uh to start, it'll be me picking some music, but uh a song that kind of relates to the podcast that we we've put out, and I'm sure down the road Doug will find some songs that mean mean something to him. To finish off our first episode, I just in in September went to my 50-year class reunion at Antioch High School. The one thing that that struck me was they have a board, the in-memorium board on a table of all of our classmates that have passed away. That board keeps getting bigger and bigger. And so, you know, I think we've all heard the Mark Twain quote, don't complain about growing old. It's a privilege denied to many. And that really really shits hits home, especially you know, as we do get a little bit older. So the song I picked this time was just really to be thankful that we're here, that we've got a roof over our head, that that uh the little things are there. I mean, we may not we may be sore, we may have aches and pains, but we're still here, we're still doing it. And so we just wanted uh finish up with that one today and and play a little song by Forrest Frank and go from there.
SPEAKER_00I've got so much to be thankful for. Look, I got a roof and a bed, a couple groceries, the staff. I've got a phone and green bottles, it's blue as well.
SPEAKER_02Wow. All right, there you go. Ted, that was man, that you saw I you know, this is gonna be an audio version of the podcast, but if those of you who you know me, man, you know I was back here behind the scenes dancing, had my hands raised, praising the Lord, man, because that was good, Ted. That what a great song. You know, I've never heard that song before. Thank you for sharing that.
SPEAKER_03Until last week, I I think it's great.

SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's Forrest Frank, the song thankful. Yeah, that that brings a lot of perspective, right? And man, what you said to set this song up is so true. Sometimes we just walk around in life we and we don't even see the things that we we really need to be thankful for, right? The fact that we're walking around in life for many of us and most of us, right? What a blessing to stop, positive, acknowledge, man, I'm walking right now, you know, because you might walk by somebody who can't walk right now, you know, and then you're smiling and you're feeling the sun on your face or the rain on your head, whatever it is, man, how thankful we should be, how thankful we should be. And I know there's a lot of people out there in the world suffering, going through some hard, hard things right now, maybe a loss of a loved one or losing a job or homeless or whatever it is. Even in the darkest moments, you can, if you try, if you're willing to surrender, you will find gratitude and you will find grace. So, with that said, I want to say what an amazing episode. I'm gonna sign off like I do, anyways. Everywhere, anywhere is God bless and peace out. If you like what you heard, be sure to subscribe, follow, share an episode.
