Suban Nur
Suban Nur is a "Narrative Architect" shaping policy reform and innovation across Africa. As the Host of Africa Untangled and Engagement Director at Apeiro, she specializes in narrative design, reputation management, and complex systems transformation.
With over 15 years of experience, Suban has held high-level leadership roles, including Director General of the Somali Bureau of Standards, where she redefined national quality frameworks. She previously led donor engagement and stabilization initiatives for the Federal Government of Somalia and managed World Bank-funded projects at the Ministry of Energy.
Based in Nairobi, Suban holds a BA in History & Political Economy from King’s University College and executive certifications in Strategic Management and Marketing from Harvard University. She is a recognized thought leader and author on PR and governance in Africa.
