Hello beautiful. Welcome back to Mom Life Podcast. I wanted to do this solo episode as a six-month check-in. Just to thank everyone for the support thus far. Thank you to all the guests who have come on board. Thank you for the recommendations of guests. Thank you for sharing the episodes, promoting the episodes. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I could not thank you enough to everyone. Everyone. And of course, I just need to get myself together and provide the web developers what they need so it can go live. So I need to kind of kick myself there. I've been working on a lot of home projects lately, just focusing on revamping areas of our home to get ready for the school year in August. It's already around the corner. My little guy is starting TK. I'm so nervous and excited. But with that being said, the kids are getting into different stages, and so I've been working on revamping their rooms, everything from painting to different sewing projects. I finally took out my sewing machine, my gorgeous sewing machine, and did some new pillowcases for the beds and the living room. I also switched out some lighting, which was amazing. So everything from working with fabric to working with paint to working with wood, it's been amazing. It's very therapeutic. Very therapeutic. I know that I had alluded to us having gone to Chicago for my stepson's graduation from Navy boot camp. We did that in May. And leading up to that trip, I was doing so well with getting myself back into a routine of working out and working out to get stronger, feeling stronger and trying to just feel more like myself, especially after having had two babies within three month, three-year period. So just trying to get back into myself, and everything was going well. And then we went on the trip and I kind of fell off. And I'm getting back on. So I'm I'm trying to get back into that routine of working on to building up my strength. I just want to be able to be there for my kids if they need me. So just as I had heard, I not it had to have been on another podcast. I had heard someone say, if you don't want to be a burden to your kids at 80, you have to take care of yourself today. So that's what I'm trying to get back to. It's been wonderful, the guests that have had on. Appreciate everyone again so much. I'm looking into what things are gonna look like for the second half of the year. And I'm excited. What does bring me joy and just reiterates the reason why I decided to start this is the feedback that I've gotten on how people were able to relate to episodes and just the connection that people feel when they hear episodes. So that is why I chose to do this. I wanted to provide resources, just different avenues for people to get help if they needed help. Yet again, a couple weeks ago, a few weeks ago now, there was another really sad news segment about um struggling with postpartum depression. She ended up unfortunately taking it out on her babies. Believe it was a six-month-old and a three-year-old, and took her own life. And it's real, it's real. And you're you're never alone, you're not alone. If if you have these feelings, if you've ever felt frustrated, just seek help. And it's okay to seek help. And there are resources available to you. Go back and listen to the episode with my sister Beninda about resources. There are advocates out there. If you see something, say something. If you see a mom that's struggling and she's not getting the help she needs, say something, bring it to her attention. Just you know, we're all in this world together, and I feel like also watching the World Cup games, the FIFA World Cup games have kind of also shed light to how we are all in this together, just working, watching all of these different matches from different countries just coming together for this amazing game. I think that the the promotion around it has been wonderful in creating unity. The ads, the commercials around it, and just creating unity just reiterates that we're all in this together. As moms, we are raising the next generation of humans, and we are amazing. We are amazing. So if you need help, please, please don't be afraid to get help. Seek help. You will find it. You will find it. I love you all. Thank you for listening. Thank you for subscribing, and I look forward to bringing you more wonderful episodes on the podcast.
