Tapestry of Faith: God is Still Weaving
Women carry so many threads ... faith, identity, motherhood, purpose, relationships, seasons of waiting, whispered prayers, and dreams that still ache to be lived.
Tapestry of Faith is a place for women to gather those threads and explore what God is weaving in the unseen. Through honest conversations, personal reflections, and stories of resilience and becoming, we talk about the journey toward wholeness ... spiritually, emotionally, and relationally.
Some episodes feel like sitting with a friend who understands. Others feel like having a mentor speak life into a weary season. And sometimes, we’re joined by women who share the threads God has woven through their own lives.
If you’re longing for clarity, belonging, restoration, or spiritual strength in the middle of real life ... you’re in the right place. You’re not late. You’re not alone. God is still weaving.

You’re Not Behind ... You’re Still Becoming
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Have you ever looked at your life and thought …
“I thought I would feel further along by now.”
Not necessarily in what you’ve done …
but in who you’ve become.
In this episode, I’m sharing something I see in so many strong, capable, faith-filled women …
A quiet feeling of being behind.
A subtle sense of disconnection.
And the question many don’t say out loud ...
“Where am I in all of this?”
But what if you’re not behind at all?
What if this season isn’t about falling short …
but about being invited to come back?
Back to yourself.
Back to your faith.
Back to the source of your strength.
We’ll talk about:
• Why this feeling happens
• How strong women slowly lose connection with themselves
• The shift from pressure to posture
• And why real transformation isn’t a one-time moment ... but something we return to
If you’ve been feeling a little off … a little tired … or a little unsure of where you are right now …
This conversation is for you.
You’re not behind.
You’re still becoming.
And God is still weaving. 🧵🤍

God is still weaving. 🤍
Have you ever had a moment where you looked at your life and thought, I thought I would feel further along by now? Not necessarily in what you've done, but in who you've become. Hi, I'm Susan, and I'm so glad you're here. Welcome back to Tapestry of Faith. God is still weaving. Over the past few days, I've been reflecting on something I hear from so many women. Not always out loud, but underneath the surface. A quiet sense that maybe they're not where they thought they would be by now. Spiritually, emotionally, personally, and it's not because they're not trying. It's often the opposite. They've been showing up, carrying responsibility, taking care of others, doing what needs to be done. And yet, there's still this quiet question: why does it feel like I'm behind? And what I've come to realize is the feeling doesn't usually come out of nowhere. It's often connected to something deeper. Because strong women don't suddenly lose themselves overnight. It happens gradually. In the middle of full lives, full schedules, full hearts. Little by little the focus shifts outward to responsibilities, to expectations, to the people depending on them. And somewhere in the middle of all of that, they begin to feel slightly disconnected. Not completely lost, but just enough to notice I don't quite feel like myself. And recently someone shared something with me that really captured this so beautifully. She said, grit isn't about grinding, it's about grounding. And putting God first isn't about perfection, it's about posture. And she talked about how, even though her faith had always been part of her life, there were seasons where things fell off. Like she was trying to hold everything together, but not necessarily drawing from the right source. And then she asked this question, what would it look like to actually let God be my strength? And I think so many women are living inside that question, even if they've never said it out loud. Because when we feel disconnected, it's not usually because we've failed, it's often because we've been caring so much that we've drifted from the place that actually restores us. And sometimes the invitation isn't to do more, it's to come back, to reconnect, to shift from pressure to posture. And something I've seen again and again is that real transformation doesn't happen all at once. It's not a single moment. It's something we return to. We hear something once and it resonates. We come back to it later and it goes deeper. We reflect again and something begins to shift. That's why women will go back and re-listen, revisit reflections, sit with something a little longer, because that's how change actually takes root, not all at once, but over time. And that's really what led me to create the tapestry transformation. Not as another thing for women to do, but as a space to slow down, to reconnect, and to come back to who God created them to be. A space rooted in grit. God, resilience, inner drive, tenacity. So if you've been feeling like you're behind or like you've drifted a little from yourself, I just want to remind you, you are not behind. You are not lost. You are still becoming.crum at gmail. I'd love to connect with you and see if it's the right next step for you. I'd genuinely love to hear from you. In the meantime, remember this God is still weaving.
