Tapestry of Faith: God is Still Weaving
Women carry so many threads ... faith, identity, motherhood, purpose, relationships, seasons of waiting, whispered prayers, and dreams that still ache to be lived.
Tapestry of Faith is a place for women to gather those threads and explore what God is weaving in the unseen. Through honest conversations, personal reflections, and stories of resilience and becoming, we talk about the journey toward wholeness ... spiritually, emotionally, and relationally.
Some episodes feel like sitting with a friend who understands. Others feel like having a mentor speak life into a weary season. And sometimes, we’re joined by women who share the threads God has woven through their own lives.
If you’re longing for clarity, belonging, restoration, or spiritual strength in the middle of real life ... you’re in the right place. You’re not late. You’re not alone. God is still weaving.

Start Showing Up Like the Woman You’re Becoming
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
You’re not the same woman you used to be.
You can feel it.
Something has shifted …
in the way you think,
the way you respond,
the way you see yourself …
And yet … you still catch yourself going back.
Old patterns.
Old reactions.
Old ways of showing up that don’t actually feel like you anymore.
That in-between space can feel confusing.
Because you know you’ve grown …
but you’re still learning how to live from that place.
In this episode, we talk about what it looks like to stop shrinking back into what’s familiar …
and start showing up like the woman you’re becoming.
Not perfectly.
Not all at once.
But in small, intentional steps that begin to align with who you are now.
Because you don’t have to go back to who you were …
when you’ve already started becoming someone new. 🤍

God is still weaving. 🤍
Hi everyone, welcome back to Tapestry of Faith. I'm Susan D. Crum, and I'm really glad you're here. I want to talk to you today about something that I think a lot of us feel but don't always fully recognize. That moment when you realize you're not the same woman you used to be. Something has shifted. The way you think, the way you see things, what you're willing to tolerate, what you're no longer willing to carry. And yet you're still catching yourself showing up in old ways. Old patterns, old reactions, old habits that don't actually feel like you anymore. And that space, that in-between space can feel really uncomfortable. Because part of you knows you've grown, but another part of you is still wired to go back to what's familiar. And familiar doesn't always mean right, it just means known. And it shows up in small moments more than anything. The way you respond in a conversation, the way you second guess yourself, the way you shrink back when you were about to speak up. Those moments where afterward you think, why did I do that again? That's not even who I am anymore. And it's frustrating because you know something is different in you, but your actions haven't fully caught up yet. And I just want to say this: if you've been feeling that tension, you are not doing anything wrong. That's actually what growth looks like. It's not instant, it's not overnight, it's a process of becoming, and then learning how to live from that place. But here's the truth I want you to come back to today. You don't have to go back to who you were. Just because something is familiar doesn't mean it still fits you. And just because you've always done something a certain way doesn't mean you have to keep doing it that way. Because something in you is shifting. Even if it's quiet, even if no one else sees it yet, even if your life doesn't fully reflect it yet, you're becoming more aware, more grounded, more aligned. And sometimes that growth feels subtle, but it's real. And the next step isn't about having everything figured out. It's not about becoming a completely different person overnight. It's about alignment, it's about starting to show up in small, intentional ways, like the woman you are becoming. So maybe today doesn't look like a big dramatic change. Maybe it looks like this. You pause before reacting and choose a different response. You speak up when you normally would have stayed quiet. You set a boundary where you would have just gone along with it before. You choose not to go back even when it would feel easier. And those moments might feel small, but they're not. Because every time you choose alignment, you are reinforcing who you are becoming, you're building trust with yourself, you're stepping into something new, even if it doesn't feel fully natural yet. Because you already know you may not have every detail, you may not see the full picture, but you know your next step. You can feel it, and you don't have to keep going back to who you were when you've already started becoming someone new. So take the step, even if it's small, even if it feels unfamiliar, even if it feels a little uncomfortable, because that's how you move forward. And if this is something you're walking through right now, I would love to stay connected with you. I share more of these conversations on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube. That's where I'm showing up consistently and sharing more of this journey. You can look for me, Susan D. Crumb, and come say hi. I'd truly love to hear from you. And if you do ever feel led to reach out, my messages are always open.
