You already know what needs to change.

You’ve felt it …
you’ve thought about it …
you’ve circled around it more than once.

The awareness is there.

The question is … what are you going to do with it?

In this episode, we talk about the quiet knowing so many women carry ... what you’ve been tolerating, what you’ve been avoiding, and what it looks like to finally choose yourself.

Because the truth is …

you don’t need more clarity.

You need movement.

Your next step isn’t something you have to figure out.

It’s something you already know.

Even if it feels uncomfortable.
 Even if it feels unfamiliar.

You don’t have to keep waiting.

You can take the step.

And if you’re ready to stop carrying everything on your own …
there’s a space for you to do that too.

You don’t have to keep living like this. 🤍

Hello everyone. Welcome back to Tapestry of Faith. I'm Susan D. Crumb, and I'm really glad you're here. I want to talk to you today about something that, if we're honest, you probably already know. Not because someone told you, not because you need more advice, but because you've felt it. That quiet knowing that something needs to change. And maybe you've tried to ignore it or push it aside or convince yourself it's not that big of a deal, but it keeps coming back. And maybe it hasn't been loud, maybe it's been subtle. A thought that lingers, a feeling you can't quite shake, a moment where something just doesn't sit right anymore. And you notice it, but you don't act on it. You acknowledge it, but you keep moving. It just stays. Then you start to see what you've been tolerating, things you've made excuses for, things you've adjusted around, things you've told yourself were just the way it is. But deep down, you know they're not aligned anymore. And at some point, you come face to face with the truth. It's time to choose yourself. But choosing yourself isn't always easy. Because it doesn't just mean doing something new, it often means letting go of something familiar. And familiar feels safe. Even when it's not good for you, even when it's keeping you stuck, even when it's the very thing that's been draining you. And this is where it gets real. Because your next step might look like having a conversation you've been avoiding, setting a boundary you've been afraid to set, saying no when you normally would say yes. Walking away from something that no longer feels right. And none of those things are easy, but you already know. And instead of moving, we stay in the loop. We think about it, we process it, we pray about it, we revisit it again and again. And it feels like we're doing something, but nothing actually changes. Because thinking about the step is not the same as taking the step. And this is the part I want you to hear today. You do not need more clarity, you do not need more confirmation, you do not need to wait until it feels easier. You already know your next step. You're just feeling the weight of it. The discomfort, the unknown, the shift that comes with doing something different. And that's normal because growth doesn't feel like comfort. It feels like stretching, it feels like choosing something new before it feels natural. So, what if today isn't about figuring anything else out? What if today is about this? Taking one step, not ten, not everything all at once, just one. The one you already know is yours to take. Because the life you've been asking for doesn't come from staying where you are. It comes from alignment, from choosing differently, from showing up in a way that matches what you already know is true for you. So if something in you has been stirring, if you've been feeling that nudge, if you've been circling the same decision, I want you to pause for just a moment and ask yourself, what is the step I already know is mine? Not what someone else would do, not what feels easiest, but what you know. And then take it, even if it's uncomfortable, even if it's imperfect, even if it feels unfamiliar, because you don't want to have to keep waiting, you don't have to keep going in circles, you can move forward starting right here. And I also want to say this: God didn't call you to carry everything while losing yourself in the process. But if you're honest, that's exactly what it feels like. Tired, overwhelmed, still showing up for everyone else, while quietly feeling like you're losing pieces of yourself along the way. And if something in you is ready to start choosing differently, if you're tired of just managing it, and you are ready to actually process what you've been carrying, I want to invite you into something really intentional. The Tapestry Guided Experience is a six-week space where you don't have to hold everything together. It's a small intentional group where you can slow down, process what you've been carrying, and reconnect with God and with yourself. It begins May 12th. That will be on a Tuesday at 5 p.m. Eastern via Zoom. That way you can join from wherever you are. And it's designed to be a space where you can finally exhale and not have to do this alone. So if this is resonating with you, you can simply email me at Susan D.crum, C-R-U-M, at gmail.com. In the subject line, you can put the word choose me. And we'll start the conversation from there. You don't have to keep living like this, and you don't have to figure it all out on your own. And if this is something you're walking through right now, I would love to stay connected with you. I share more of these conversations on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube. That's where I'm showing up consistently and sharing more of this journey. Again, you can look for me, Susan D. Crumb, and say hi. I'd truly love to hear from you. And if you ever feel led to reach out, my messages, they're always open. Remember, God is still weaving.
