Tapestry of Faith: God is Still Weaving
Women carry so many threads ... faith, identity, motherhood, purpose, relationships, seasons of waiting, whispered prayers, and dreams that still ache to be lived.
Tapestry of Faith is a place for women to gather those threads and explore what God is weaving in the unseen. Through honest conversations, personal reflections, and stories of resilience and becoming, we talk about the journey toward wholeness ... spiritually, emotionally, and relationally.
Some episodes feel like sitting with a friend who understands. Others feel like having a mentor speak life into a weary season. And sometimes, we’re joined by women who share the threads God has woven through their own lives.
If you’re longing for clarity, belonging, restoration, or spiritual strength in the middle of real life ... you’re in the right place. You’re not late. You’re not alone. God is still weaving.

What if God is doing more than you can see?
In this episode, we talk about the tension of not understanding what God is doing ... and what it looks like to trust Him anyway.
Because not everything that feels unclear is a setback.
Sometimes it’s preparation.
Sometimes you’re not behind … you’re being positioned for what’s next.
And sometimes the hardest part isn’t the waiting …
it’s releasing control and trusting the process ... even when it doesn’t make sense.
If you’re in a season of uncertainty, this conversation will meet you right where you are.

God is still weaving. 🤍
Hi everyone. Welcome back to Tapestry of Faith. I'm Susan D. Crum, and I'm so glad you're here. I want to talk to you today about something that I think so many of us are walking through, but don't always have the words for. Those seasons where you don't fully understand what God is doing. Things aren't unfolding the way you expected. The timing does not make sense. And you're left trying to figure it out what's actually happening. And if you're honest, it's not just confusion. There's a tension there because part of you wants to trust, but another part of you wants to understand. You want clarity. You want direction. You want something you can hold on to that makes it all make sense. But what I've been thinking about this week is this. What if God is doing more than you can see and more than you can understand right now? What if the reason it doesn't make sense is because you're only seeing a small part of what he's doing? And maybe that's where you are right now. Something in your life doesn't look the way you thought it would. A door didn't open, something slowed down, something shifted in a way you didn't expect. And now you're sitting in that space of God, what are you doing? But what if this isn't a setback? What if it's preparation? What if you're not behind? You're being prepared for something you can't fully see yet. Because preparation doesn't always feel productive, it doesn't always look like progress. Sometimes it looks like waiting, like stretching, like being in a place where things feel uncertain and you're not fully in control. And that's where it gets hard. Because we want to control the process, we want to understand the timing. We want to know how it's going to work out before we fully trust it. But there's a point here. Holding on to control actually keeps us from experiencing what God is trying to do. Because we're so focused on writing the story ourselves that we struggle to trust the one who's already writing it. So what if today isn't about figuring everything out? What if it's about releasing control? Even just a little? Letting go of the need to have all the answers and choosing to trust even when it doesn't make sense. Because trusting doesn't mean you understand, it means you believe that something is happening even if you can't see it yet. And I know that's not always easy because we live in a world where we're used to seeing results, we're used to measuring progress, we're used to knowing what's next. But faith doesn't always work like that. Sometimes faith looks like this: continuing to show up, continuing to trust, continuing to move forward without having all the clarity you wish you had. So if you're in a season right now where things don't make sense, where you don't fully understand what God is doing, I want you to hear this. You are not behind, you are not off track, and you haven't missed anything. God is doing more than you can see. Even now, even here, even in the uncertainty. So instead of trying to control it, what if you trusted it? Not perfectly, not all at once, but one moment at a time. Because even when it doesn't make sense, the process is still unfolding and you're right where you need to be. And if this is something you're walking through right now, I'd love to stay connected with you. I share more of these conversations on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. That's where I'm showing up consistently and sharing more of this journey. You can just look for me, Susan D. Crum, and come say hi. I would truly love to hear from you. And remember, if you ever feel led to reach out, my messages, they're always open.
