Hey guys, welcome back to the Generations of Grace podcast. I'm very excited for this episode today. It will just be me. We may have some fill-ins in the future. And however, um, mom is gonna take a break just for a little while. But like I said, we're gonna continue in this podcast and thank you guys for listening. And thanks as we all learn how to grow together with one another. Today I'm very excited. We're gonna be talking about forgiveness from the Lord. So, kind of um, just how does that look like for us and what does it mean for the Lord to forgive us? And so I have lots of different scriptures. Like I said, like this isn't going to be some big exhaustive list of having everything from the Bible and what it means to have forgiveness from the Lord and what it looks like to receive forgiveness from the Lord. But I was reading the other day and just like my daily reading, and then I was brought to Jeremiah chapter 31, and this verse was just brought out to me. And I was like, Lord, do you want me to share this on what it means to be forgiven by by you? Because I know myself I struggled with it was on how to be forgiven by the Lord and how to actually receive that. Because when you are willing to have a repentance heart and be like, I'm wrong, you're right, Lord, and I'm ready to live my life for you, and all of this, it's he's he's gonna forgive you. And it's sometimes hard of for us, especially when trust has been broken in certain areas of our lives, and it's hard to forgive sometimes. And we've talked about that on the forgiveness episode, and it's hard to ask for forgiveness and it's hard to forgive others, however, it is possible, and the Lord's forgiveness for us is just such a blessing because it's nothing about what we can do except being like, I'm here, Lord, and I'm messed up and I'm ready. For you to help me, it's because of his grace towards us. And I was talking to some people tonight, and it was just about how I don't think that we can fully grasp how much grace he has towards us in our lives. And if we were in his position, like there would not be that much grace, no matter how hard we tried. We would it's just it's hard to comprehend. And that's what that person was explaining was just I don't think that we can fathom and just have the understanding of what it means of the Lord's grace upon our life. Because he hasn't he doesn't have to do anything that he does, that he chose to make this whole earth knowing exactly what would happen, but because he loves you so much, and he knows that you would continue to mess up, but because of the grace upon your life, because of the blood shed at the cross through Jesus, he chose to do that because he loves you so much. So let's just go ahead and dive into where I said the Lord was drawing me was Jeremiah 31. I'm going to start in verse 31 and read through 34. So if you've got your Bibles, go ahead and open up. And I'm going to be reading through the New King James Version, but use whatever Bible you have. So it says, Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord. This is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord. I will put my law in their minds, and write it on their hearts, and I will be their God and they shall be my people. No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord, for they shall all for they all shall know me. From the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord, for I will forgive their iniquity and their sin I will remember no more. And so what I want to do with this verse is just break it down. Or with these verses, is just break them down verse by verse. And so starting in verse 31, it says, Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. And I feel like to understand forgiveness from the Lord, we have to understand, okay, what has the Lord put in place and what kind of are his laws and just how can he forgive us when we mess up all the time? It's kind of how my thoughts used to be. And so if you guys can relate to that, I want to try to clarify that today. And so in that verse, it's saying that before the cross, before Jesus, there was the old covenant and they had the laws, and they had to fulfill all these laws and do certain things in the temples and go to the priest and the rabbi and all this stuff, and only certain people could do certain kinds of things. And Israel and Judah broke that covenant, that one before the cross. But we're living in the time after the cross in the new covenant, and there's so much more grace and goodness within that. And so in verse 31, it's there is going to be a new, fresh start with Israel and Judah. There are promises to come that they have broken, but God is restoring it in a way that can't be broken, no matter how much us as humans mess up. And that's what's great, is all this goes into like salvation and being renewed each and every day. Because just like he gave Israel and Judah a new fresh start, he's giving you a new fresh start as well. When you become born again, that is where your old self dies. And you become born again as a new creation in Jesus Christ. And so when you are reading your Bible, don't just read it as, oh yeah, well, I read my Bible today. Like really dig into it because there's always something that is pointing you to Jesus Christ and what it means for your life today. It's not just something that we do as Christians, it is something that is a life manual. It has the answers for it all. If you would just dive in and ask Holy Spirit for the wisdom and guidance, and he will show you and use different resources out there to study the words. As we go into verse 32, it says, Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in that day, that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt. My covenant, which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord. So the Lord our God is always faithful, he will not turn his back on you. What he says is true, and people break covenants, and that is what the people did here. But God knew that that was going to happen, so he set in place before the foundations of the earth a way to restore this, and that was the covenant through the blood of Jesus Christ. And we can go into a whole lot more of the covenant a different time, but it's just understanding that this new covenant with the Lord, the Lord didn't do anything to them, he was always there. But the people in Egypt were complaining and grumbling, and they started worshiping other gods that wasn't the one true living God, and they were very selfish and doing their own things, and they weren't repentant, they had all the opportunities to repent, and they didn't receive the promises from the Lord because they didn't have a repentance heart, and that's what we must learn to have a repentance heart before the Lord, and his promises and blessings will come to fruition. And now this was before the cross, and we live in the time after the cross, after Jesus Christ had the whips at the whipping post and his blood was shed for us. And so this new covenant, it cannot be broken by man. It was between God the Father and the Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit now dwells with inside of us if you choose to receive him. And that that's just what's great because he knew we were gonna mess up, and he's like, Don't worry, I've got you. Like you have that repentance heart, you come back to me, my child, because I love you, and I made it a way that you can't screw this up. Now you can choose to reject God and you can choose not to live your life for him and walk away from him. But if you are choosing to be a Christian and lay down your life to live for him, then it won't be broken. Just it's a continuous lifestyle walk of repentance and just surrendering yourself to him. So continuing into verse 33, it says, But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord. I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts, and I will be their God and they shall be my people. And that was going into what I was saying about like there was a certain order to things before the cross of you had to go to the temple and make sure that you were clean, have all your sacrifices, and only certain people were allowed in there, but that's not what it is anymore. In the new covenant, there's access to God from everyone. Like it's available for everyone. You don't have to be some sort of certain person. The laws of God are no longer written on scrolls or tablets for certain people to read and be distributed with others. It's written on your hearts if you choose to receive it. And that is what is so amazing because you can walk throughout your entire life with him on the inside of you. You don't have to do some sort of ritual anymore because Jesus has restored all that and made easier access available to him for everyone, whoever chooses to use it. And it's wonderful. And you may be wondering, like, well, what does this have to do with forgiveness or whatever? But I think it's important to understand just a very minimal part of a foundation of the old covenant and the new covenant and what the new covenant means, and that you can have mistakes, but it can't be broken because of the blood of Jesus Christ. And know that God's word remains within you. It can flow throughout your life if you choose to. And you may think, well, like I'm a Christian and stuff, but this just isn't flowing in my life. Like I don't know my Bible and stuff. Well, let me ask you, are you actually reading your Bible in the way that God needs you to read your Bible? And I'm not saying sit there and read it all day long 24-7, unless that's what the Lord tells you to do. But what I'm saying is, are you reading it as your to-do checklist? Are you reading it to get your devotional out the way? Are you actually diving into it and not just getting a surface level teaching of the Bible? And are you studying the different words? Because the words in in our Bible now we must try to translate to the original language and what they really mean because that's no different than like my mom growing up has certain words that she'll say, and I think it's just hilarious. And I'm like, that doesn't even make any sense. Why do you say that? But at her time it was something normal to say. Like, I think it's hilarious whenever she like gets up and like she's got like a cramp or something. I don't know. But then she's like, Oh, I gotta hitch in my get along. And I just think that's the most hilarious thing. When I heard that as a kid, I was like, You got what? What is what does that mean? Or like I know like flip-flops used to be called thongs. I was like, Will you put what on your feet? And so it's just things like that. Like certain words are used in areas of our lives today that when the Bible was written, the people writing them at that time have a different culture and it is a different timeline, those words can mean something different. So that's just an example of it's important to study your Bible, Bible at a deeper level, not just a surface level of reading. And if that's all the time you have in that day to do, awesome. You're reading your Bible. But I really encourage you to really dive into the Bible because you're not receiving all that the Lord has for you in your life. If you aren't digging deeper, if you just think, oh, well, the Old Testament's Old Testament, that's before Jesus was here. Do I really need to know that? Telling you, yes, you do. And if you dive into it, you'll see that every single thing in the Old Testament actually points to Jesus Christ and what that means for you now. And it's it's just a wonderful thing whenever you start to have more wisdom, knowledge, and revelation in Him. And as it begins, like I was reading in verse 33, that God's word will flow throughout your life. You will be his people, he will be your God, he'll write his word upon your heart. And that's why I pray over people that like open their eyes, open their ears, open their heart, and write it on the tablets of their heart so that it will remain with them, even if they don't receive it in that time, but it will stay with them. And it will continue to grow with them because God's word, it doesn't go away. He said it, he's done it, and it's already here. It doesn't just disappear, it has to remain, and it's so good. And that takes me over to Romans 11, 27, it says, and this will be my covenant with them when I will take away their sins. So now we're going to go more into the forgiveness part of it. Now that we have that that foundation of like old covenant, new covenant, um, what that means that we can't we can't break God's new covenant, what he's done, he's done. And that is amazing. I'm glad so thankful that he set something up that we can't break because we're humans, we mess up, we make mistakes. That's all right. You own it, you repent, you come back to the Lord. And that's part of living, living life. And so now we're going to go into he takes away our sins. That goes into the forgiveness part of it. In verse 34, it says, No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother is saying, Know the Lord, for they all shall know me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity and their sin I will remember no more. That is just wow. That is true forgiveness. And it's not just like when the Lord forgives you, you become born again in Him. It's He doesn't see that dead person anymore because you're born again with new life, new creation within Him. That is an amount of grace that is very admirable and just something that we should strive for as being conformed into His image. It's an amazing thing. It says that no more shall every man teach his neighbor and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord, for they all shall know me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity and their sin I will remember no more. I just want to point out that it says, knowing the Lord. It says that those who know the Lord are forgiven, and the Lord remembers your sin no more. And this goes back into the studying words at a deeper level and your Bible at a deeper level, because I may know, and I've heard my pastor talk about this some too, I may know someone or know of that person, but I don't know them as I would in like a relationship status of like I I know my sisters really well. I know what they like, what they don't like. I understand their personalities, and I understand what kind of coffee they like to drink and what things they like to do. I know them. And then I also know my husband at a more intimate level and things that he likes and dislikes, what food he likes, what hobbies he likes to do. But like I know of presidents that we've had, but I don't have never had a personal relationship with them and to know their likes and dislikes and personal things about them and everything. And that's what this is saying here. When you know the Lord, it's a having that relationship with him and like having a marriage with him, and he also referred to as being that the husband earlier because it's showing an example of how faithful it is and how our relationship with him is like. Because how can you know the Lord if you don't have a relationship with him? You may know of him, you've heard about him, you've read about him, you know kind of the surface level things of him and everything, but more importantly, does he know you? And that's I want us to go into a deeper level and a deeper calling of not just I claim to be a Christian and I'm living this life here on earth. I want us to go into that next level of knowing the Lord, having that intimate relationship with him, and not just hoping to get to heaven one day. I want uh every single person listening and every single person I encounter to know the Lord God in such an intimate way that when they hear his voice, there is no doubt, there is no second guess or question, there is no well Lord, I need I need proof that this is you because you are so intimate with him and spending time with him and having that relationship, knowing him. Because if you just oh yeah, well the Lord loves me and I'm gonna sin and that's okay. And well, he'll forgive me. Lord forgive me, like he'll forgive me for that later. That's not a true repentance heart. And you don't truly know the Lord. I used to think that, and I like that's why it's okay for uh people to share so boldly is because I was once lost like that. And I truly thought I was going to heaven. Meanwhile, no one was bold enough to sit down and talk with me and tell me do you really know the Lord? Does he know you? Do you understand what it means to truly repent? Because I didn't, I just thought it was I know I'm gonna sin, so I'll just ask for forgiveness now and then he'll do it later because he's God. But there's a certain like there's how would you treat your husband or your wife like that and be like, well, I'm gonna I'm gonna really betray them and I'm going to actually go hang out with this person over here. So if like you're sort of like if it's your husband, you're like, I'm gonna go hang out with this guy over here, but he'll forgive me for it later. That's no different than the way certain people are treating God. It's because the Bible does refer our relationship to as a marriage, and when you're over here flirting with the world and staying in the world and halfway in it, this kind of goes back to our lukewarm episode. You're just halfway in the world and halfway with the Lord, and you're really just hoping to get to heaven, but you don't really want to know the Lord. That's not what heaven is about. That is the entire the world has changed the gospel of having the relationship with Jesus Christ and what he's done for you into man, I sure hope I get to heaven one day, and I'm just I'm just praying to the Lord to let me in one day. But that's that's not what it's about at all. You don't have to just hope you get to heaven one day. It's about having that relationship with the Lord, knowing who you are to him, and that he wants you free and restored and made whole, made completely brand new, and he wants to forgive your sins if you'll allow him to, and you'll lay your life down and repent. Because he loves you so much, he has that grace upon your life that we don't we don't deserve it, honestly. But because he loves us so much, it is so freeing to know that God's got your back and he set these things in place before we were ever even born. And I just I don't really know how I got there, but that was amazing because the Lord is faithful, he is true, he doesn't break this new covenant, he doesn't tell you things because he's some big bad mean god, he tells you things because he loves you so, so much. He knows exactly what the right thing is for your life, and the most satisfying thing for your life that it may be uncomfortable changing, and it may be uncomfortable trying to get rid of the old ways, but the more you seek him, the more he draws you to him and the deeper seasons that you can go into with him, and those things, what used to be uncomfortable, is no longer uncomfortable. And it's like, I can't even believe that I used to used to think like that, or used to think that that was hard and not listening to that kind of music anymore. I think I can't believe that was hard that I didn't think that I could uh not drink that drink anymore, or whatever it is in y'all's life. But it's just the Lord has made a way for it, and I I'm thankful it's also hard going through seasons, different seasons of your life. We all know that our life works in seasons. We have ups and downs and sideways, backwards, all whatever you're going through. Like less like a roller coaster, but also as you become a Christian, there's a deeper walk with each season if you allow the Lord to expose things in your life, and you lay it at his feet and you allow him to continue to work through you because or you'll just stay stagnant and go backwards, and it's I don't know why this was brought to my mind, but it was like the roller coaster and it was it was going backwards, and that's not as much of an enjoyable ride as for the it to be working properly in the way that it's supposed to. And so kind of like oh, what's the roller coaster I used to write? Oh, it's I think it's called wildfire. At Silverdoss City that I rode with my husband on, and I was terrified too at first. But it's like you look forward, as you like roller coasters, you look forward to that adrenaline as you're going up the hill, and you're looking forward to that big drop-off down and that really, really big hill, and then going upside down and all the stuff, you know. But if the roller coaster just climbed the hill and then it just stopped and slowly went backwards, back to the beginning, you had to get off, you couldn't finish the ride. Like, I don't know if that makes any sense to anyone, but that is kind of how some of the walks, your walks are with the Lord is you get started and you get going, and it's all excited. You've had some freedom, you've had, you've learned a lot more. It's excited to start this new journey of life. And then you have the new season of things are being exposed in your life that the Lord wants you to lay at his feet to get it out of your life so that you can have that deeper relationship with him and go on down that hill into that next level. But you're too scared of that draw and you're not ready to really let that go. And you may say you want it gone, but if you really wanted it gone, you would take that next step in that. And then you can go deeper with him. And so that's just a challenge, not just for you guys, but for myself as well. That whichever season of life that we're going through, just to be able to realize the Lord wants to expose things in that. And when we mess up, he is ready to forgive us. If we allow him to, he's already set everything in place for it to happen. And whenever you do mess up, you don't have to have that shame and guilt and sadness or regret because the Lord already knew you were gonna do that, and he already set those things in place to take it from you because he loves you so, so much. And if you still have your Bibles open, I just want to continue in 1 John chapter 1, 7 through 10. It says, But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his son, cleanses us from all of our sin. Not just some of the sin that you have, and not just some things that you may or may not do. Like you pick and choose which sins are the ones that you think he's gonna help you, because some sins are just way too bad. That's how it says that he's gonna cleanse us from all sin if we have that fellowship, if we allow him to be that light with inside of us, because his light doesn't change whether you receive him or not, he is the light. And it's up to you if you're going to walk in the light that he has provided. The choice is yours. And then continuing in first John, it says, if we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves. And the truth we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. So what I've been saying this whole episode is you're gonna sin. You're gonna mess up. But as a saved born-again believer, I forget exactly how my pastor said it, but it was awesome. He said, I don't know if you heard it from someone else or not. I don't know. Somebody said you may not be sinless after being born again, but you will sin less because you're growing in a deeper relationship with him and you're gonna be convicted about more things because more things are being exposed in your life, that the Lord wants you to go deeper with him. And if you if you listen to those convictions and act upon them, you will go deeper in that relationship with him. And we have to understand that we must repent and that we confess our sins to the Lord. God is faithful and true. He will forgive us of our sins if we're able to do that. He will cleanse you from all unrighteousness. So there's no reason to hang on to that shame. If you truly have laid it all down at the Lord's feet, he's like, I've got it. Don't worry. Get up, my child, and let's go fight the good fight. And it says, if we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar and his word is not in us. I remember when I used to justify the things that I did, which is actually just witchcraft, and it was saying that I knew better than what God was saying, even though I didn't realize that's what I was saying at the time, because it was, oh yeah, well, like I messed up, but like whatever, it's okay. Or I would try to make good excuses as to why I had messed up. But in all reality, God said, You messed up, my child. Like, please confess your sin, repent, come back to me. I'm here and I've forgiven you. And it is like I said earlier, is in Jeremiah 31, 34, it says, and the Lord remembers sin no more. So the longer you hold on that, onto that, the longer you try to justify it and make it seem okay, just admit you're wrong. That's all the Lord needs is, Lord, I'm wrong, you're right. You know what's best for me, you love me, you're here for me. So just take this, Lord. It's just, it's so simple. And it's just it's it's exciting to be able to learn these things and that some of us weren't always taught this, and some of us misinterpreted and all this, but I hope that this can bring some more clarity to our lives because the Lord doesn't, he's not gonna condemn you. He's not going when you mess up, he's not gonna be like, see, I told you so much, child. Like, well, you did it again. I don't know if I can forgive you this time or not. But if you are look laying down your life, making change in your life, truly having a repentance heart towards him, he will forgive you. His word is true. And I'm just very repetitive tonight because it's just maybe if someone would have said it over and over again to me in a different way and understand my identity in Christ, then maybe I wouldn't have held on to certain things for so long. I don't know. I can't go back in the past, but I'm hoping that this can help you guys in your walk now and in the future. And in Micah 7.19, it says, He will again have compassion on us and will subdue our iniquities. He will cast our sins into the depths of the sea. Oh, in this verse, I love it so much. I may actually come. Well, no, I'll just go ahead and go into it. It is just I love reading that because when I think of he will cast our sins into the depths of the sea, he has compassion upon us. So when I think of the sea, I think of well, sometimes I think of Nemo, but and think of all like the fish down there, and like we don't know all the life that is down there, all the different fish and whatever's down there because it's unknown. And I was like, that's crazy because he throws our sins into that when we submit to him and he takes that and we don't hold on to any of it, he casts it into the depths of the sea because the depths of the sea is unknown. And I was like, I know that a lot of the ocean is not explored because, well, like humans just can't do that, like they'll die. And so I just did some quick Google searches just to figure it out, and it says that Google says that more than 80% of the ocean is unexplored, and some other things that it was saying, of course, it's hostile for humans to explore. So when you're feeling shame for something that's already been forgiven by the Lord, it's kind of like trying to explore the ocean. Let me elaborate on that. Some other things that it said as to why humans couldn't explore the ocean is because um there's freezing temperatures, there's an immense crushing pressure and total darkness. There is no light at the very bottom of the ocean, so you can't bring to light. Like you can't see anything. And that's kind of like our sin. Our sin is seen no more, it's remembered no more by God when you have repented and he has forgiven you. So receive that when you try to go and dig up things that have already been forgiven by the Lord, or Satan keeps whispering, see, remember when you used to do that, remember when you used to do that, but the Lord has forgiven you of that. Tell the devil, shut up. He is, he doesn't need to bring that back in your life in Jesus' name because the Lord has forgiven you and you don't have that shame and guilt anymore. But if you allow those lies to come in and you dig those sins back up yourself, it's gonna feel like an immense crushing pressure upon you. It's gonna be such a heavy-weighted burden upon your life that you don't you don't know how to manage it. You don't know how to do it, deal with it. And you just have to lay it right back down at the Lord's feet and allow him to keep that down into the depths of the sea. It's like total darkness coming around you when you're digging that up and carrying it back upon your life when the Lord is already like it's already down in the sea. Why are you trying to explore that back out into your life? Because I've already handled that for you. I have forgiven you. And it doesn't matter what people say, it doesn't matter what the enemy lies to you, it matters what I say, and you have been forgiven. You have laid down your life for me, and you are born again in that old way is dead, and you're walking in brand new, and I have forgiven you. Then this is a continuous daily thing that when you mess up, the Lord is here for you. He doesn't want you to have that immense crushing pressure or total darkness of digging up your past. He said, I'm here and I've forgiven you. I've already provided the way. And there's two other scriptures that go along with how your sin is covered and he's forgiven you is Psalms 32:1, talking about how your sin is covered. And Ephesians 1:7 talks about how through the blood of Jesus Christ there is redemption within that. It's not just, oh, Jesus loves me, so he died for me on the cross. There is so much more when you really start to study it and research it. There is redemption. He has redeemed you, he has paid the ransom. I don't know if anyone has ever thought of it because we read our Bibles and we're like, yo, yeah, like He's paid the ransom for us, woo-hoo. But it like it's I used to watch like all the crime shows and stuff. I don't think more because it went crazy in my head thinking about all the what-if scenarios, but that's what the Lord showed me. And it was some someone would get kidnapped, and then they'd have to pay the ransom because they're being held hostage. And someone would either try to break them free or there was there was a ransom paid. Well, what does the Bible say that Jesus did for you? He has paid your ransom, he has taken your place. Life is not fair, and he did not deserve to go on the cross, but he chose to take your place on the cross and wear the sins of us what we have done, because he loves you so much that we were held hostage by Satan, by his lies, by what we've believed, by what we've allowed, by what we haven't known. So our ignorance. However, Jesus said, I know they didn't know. I know they they chose the wrong life and everything. But I love them so much, I'm gonna do it for them anyways. And they might they may not even love me. They may not even choose to live their life for me. They may they some of them won't even be able to say my name until the end times. But you know what? I still love them. I'm gonna pay their ransom anyways. And that's just amazing for me to think about that he would do something like that. And that's just uh amazing amount of love that I just can't even I can't even describe it. Even my kids, I tell them, Mom loves you, dad loves you, brother loves you, sister loves you. But who loves you the most? Like it's a good reminder to know who loves you the most. Know that when bad things happen, it's not always his fault. And that he has a plan for you. And he is right there just waiting for you. And so just know that he forgives our sins according to his grace and his mercy and his love. And what is just another I mean, our our podcast is called Generations of Grace. This has been happening, this podcast hasn't been happening forever, but like his grace has been happening for so long. Just think, for so long, like before the earth was ever even created, his grace was in place for us. It's just great to think about. And so that's all the scriptures that I have for tonight. And that's all I've been kind of prepared for tonight and everything. And I hope that this helps in just motivating and encouraging and having more understanding that the Lord our God loves you guys so much, that he has his grace upon your life, that he already had a plan set in place to redeem you, pay your ransom, and forgive you if you allow him to. It is finished. You must be willing to take that action and having to lay your life down and repent and live for him. And it's just the more you learn, the more grace you have upon others and forgiveness you can have towards others because he's forgiven you. And he didn't have to do that, especially when I think about the the ransom thing. It's just I'm just kind of in awe of him because it's it's really good stuff. And I hope that you guys are understanding this. I know I've been kind of all over with this episode, and I've just been kind of led in different directions with it and trying to be obedient, but it's it's really good stuff. I just he's so good that I just can't even wrap my head around it. So know that the Lord does forgive you, He remembers your sin no more and is cast into the depths of the sea. He wants to have that fellowship, that relationship with you, for you to know him so that he can remember your sins no more. For him to know you, does he know you? Because you can steer yourself away from him, and just know that there is an old covenant and there is a new covenant, and you're walking in that new covenant that cannot be broken by how many times you mess up. There is grace within that, there is forgiveness in that, and you are loved by the one true living God. So, Father, I thank you for this blessed evening, Lord. I thank you that you have given me words to speak for us to hear and receive and understand. I thank you for the boldness and courage placed within my heart to speak your word. I pray and I thank you, Holy Spirit, that every word that flows from my mouth is received exactly in the way that you have intended for everyone to hear, Lord. I pray that people begin to understand that there is forgiveness, that there is a way to soften your heart and not continue to build up walls or have a hard heart, Lord. That it is already finished, Father. I thank you that you can write it on the tablets of their hearts, Father, your word, and just to continue to draw people for them to have a hunger unlike anything before, Lord. Just continue to draw everyone, Father. For you are a good, good God. And I pray that you reveal yourselves to them in ways that they have never seen or imagined before, Lord God, that they are in just so much awe as I have been tonight, and understanding and learning what it means for you to forgive us and what that looks like, and understanding your love and your grace upon our life, and that you specifically chose us. Thank you, Father. Thank you so much for your forgiveness in Jesus.
