All Jacked Up
All Jacked Up is a discipline-driven podcast about waking up, taking responsibility, and living by a higher standard when no one is watching. It's not motivation - it's a wake-up call.
All Jacked Up
The War Within 6 Identity
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
You don’t rise to your goals…
You fall to your identity.
In this episode of All Jacked Up, Justen A. Kayse goes deeper than motivation, deeper than discipline—into the core of who you believe you are.
Because everything you do…
every habit you keep…
every standard you tolerate…
comes back to one thing—
Your identity.
If you see yourself as inconsistent… you’ll act that way.
If you believe you’re disciplined… you’ll prove it.
If you think you’re not ready… you’ll never be.
Most people try to change their actions without ever changing their identity.
And that’s why nothing sticks.
This episode is about rewriting that internal story.
Becoming the person first…
so the results have no choice but to follow.
Because the war within isn’t about what you do…
It’s about who you decide to be.

Greatness is Coming!
The battle for your future is won or lost in your mind. This is all jacked up. Let's be honest. Your biggest battle is not with other people. It's with the voice inside your own head. The voice that compares. The voice that doubts. The voice that hesitates. But there's another voice too. The one that knows you were built for more. This series is about that battle. The internal war between potential and excuses. This is winning the war within. Last time we talked about motivation. How motivation comes and goes, giving you that up and down roller coaster feel. But discipline is what actually carries you forward. Today we confront something even deeper: identity. Most people believe success creates identity. They say things like, when I lose the weight, I'll feel confident. When I reach that goal, I'll feel successful. When I accomplish more, I'll feel proud of myself. But that belief is backwards. Achievement does not create identity. Identity creates achievement. Disciplined people don't wake up early because they feel like it. They wake up early because that's who they are. Athletes train because they see themselves as athletes. Leaders lead because they see themselves as responsible. Builders build because they see themselves as creators. Behavior follows identity. Every action you take is a vote. A vote for the person you are becoming. Every disciplined action reinforces identity. Every excuse weakens it. Skip the workout. You reinforce inconsistency. Show up anyway. You reinforce discipline. Over time, those votes add up and create identity. I can almost guess what you're thinking. That's not who I am. Not yet. Identity is not fixed. Identity is shaped by decisions. The moment you start acting like the person you want to become, your identity begins to shift. Most people ask the wrong question. What do I want to achieve? A better question is this. Who do I need to become? A disciplined person. A resilient person. Person who keeps promises to themselves. Because once identity changes, behavior follows. If you've been following this series, you know you are part of something. The seven-day discipline challenge. For seven days, choose discipline over emotion. Act like the person you are becoming, the one you want to be. Not someday. Today. And every night ask yourself one question. Did I win the war within today? Identity determines behavior. But one final force turns identity into consistent action. Discipline. And next time, we finish this journey. Because discipline is the weapon that wins the war within. The hardest battles in life are fought in the mind. And discipline is the weapon that wins the war within. This is all jacked up. And I'm just in a case. Stay sharp, stay disciplined, and keep building forward.
