STOP WORKING FOR GOD, START WALKING WITH HIM
What if the problem wasn't that you stopped believing — but that you never stopped working?
In this episode of B.A.S.I.C. Conversations, Brother Boston sits down with Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, and worship leader Tim Timmons — the man behind MercyMe's powerful hit Even If, portrayed by Milo Ventimiglia in the film I Can Only Imagine 2.
Tim opens up about the moment he quit working for God and started walking with Him — and why that shift changed everything. He shares how a cancer diagnosis at 25, given five years to live, became the doorway into a deeper, more honest faith. He talks about the X he writes on his wrist every morning, what it means to be a branch attached to the vine, and why elementary faith might just be the most powerful kind.
Brother Boston also shares something deeply personal — how Even If played on repeat as his wife Molly prayed over him during a seven-day coma, and how he woke up the very next day.
This one hits different. Whether you've been doing a lot for God but feeling empty, or you're still asking what if He's actually real — this conversation is for you.

Welcome to Basic Conversation. I'm your host, Brother Boston. My next guest is a man who was given five years to live, and instead of counting down, he started writing. He's a Grammy nominated singer, songwriter, and worship leader. He co-wrote Mercy Me's hit Even If, one of my favorite songs, I have to say. A song so powerful that Milo Ventimiglia portrays him in the hit film I Can Only Imagine Two. He spent over two decades pointing people to Jesus through music born out of real suffering, not just believing in him, but following him. Tim Timmins, man, welcome to Basic Conversations, my brother.
SPEAKER_00Dude, I'm honored to be on here. I'm so stoked. Well done, dude. It's so great. So good to see you on here.
SPEAKER_01Thank you, my brother. Thank you, my brother. And uh just for context, the audience, uh so me and Tim actually met at a retreat at Bob Goff's little uh ranch, the Oak Center, uh, which is a phenomenal place. If you want to get away, you want to uh disconnect from this chaotic world. Uh I suggest giving that place a checkout and uh go on up there and relax. Yeah, so so Tim man, uh let's let's get right into it, my brother. First of all, it is an honor having you here. Um, I do want to hear uh my main my main thing is like we talk about Jesus Christ. A lot of people throw the name out, and um I knowing your story, uh, know that you have had a an encounter with God, man, just like myself. So yeah, let's let's talk about that. Well, like how old were you, first of all, when you even decided to say, Hey Christ, I'm yours?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I mean that's that's such a hard question in some ways, just because I think I was I was a young kid when I was a pastor's kid, and I was young when I said yes to Jesus. But you know, I think in life you just kind of grow into what yes means, and so much of our my upbringing was kind of like you make your decision, and then it's like great, nailed it, I'm in. And I think the more that I'm living, I'm like, man, it my yes is a daily yes. I mean, it's why I write this X in my wrist every morning, you know, which we'll we'll get into. What's up, what's up? That today's the day. Like, I have a choice today to join Jesus and follow him or not. And I think so many times we're kind of like, well, you know, I'm saved. And I, you know, I this is a bigger conversation of like what saved actually looks like and what it actually means biblically than just I made the decision and then I'm like, great, I'm in. But what is in actually look like, and what does what is joining Jesus all day long actually look like? Um, which is like working out my saving. Um, so yeah, man, I I think I was a young kid, but really maybe I would say like 15 years ago, I quit working for God. I was, you know, I was working at a church, I was a killing and I was this awesome worship leader at these big churches, huge churches. And yet I didn't have all the things I was pushing. Like I was talking about Jesus and all the things that he is giving us, but I didn't have any of those things. And I was like, man, there's got there's some disconnect here. My neighbor was an atheist and had like more like seemingly fruit of the spirit than I did. And I was like, this is just weird. Like, I'm I'm a varsity, I'm awesome at this, but I'm exhausted, and this guy's got more joy than I do. Like, what's happening? So that's when I kind of quit working for God and said, I will just join you for the rest of my days. So if you wake me up again, I will choose to follow you every single day. Um, so that that's kind of how I would probably answer that more than like this one time, although everybody has their different stories. Like, sometimes it's like, man, nope, this is the day. And for me, there are certain days, but it's more of this like from that point on, it's a daily choice.
SPEAKER_01100%, man. I couldn't agree more. I know uh even in in the word, it talks about uh pick up your cross daily and follow me. Like this is something new every single day because it tells us tomorrow's not promised. So good. Um and and you know, the flesh is constantly pulling, and I know I know for me it's a tug of war. Like the enemy's at me, uh, I'm at me, and then Christ is at me. So it's like I can't give the enemy all the credit because Kevin likes to make stupid choices, you know what I mean? Yep, Tim. Exactly. Yeah, so yeah, man, that's uh that's that's powerful and and and good to hear too, like the whole I'm serving God, uh, but the atheist next to me, like, like really, yeah, literally, the atheist next to me has more fruit of the spirit than I actually feel like I have.
SPEAKER_00Yep.
SPEAKER_01Uh, I can definitely relate to that. I was running the ministry out in LA, and man, I felt empty. I felt disconnected from God. I was doing what I thought was his work, but the relationship started to dwindle. And so, yeah, man, it got deep. Um, and that's not a good place to be. It's like trying to work my way rather than having faith my way.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So I in in my book and a lot of different places, I talk about uh I quit working for God because my whole life was like do good things for him, evangelize for him, uh pray for God. Like, not pray for him, but like be the one, you know. I I just were doing everything for him. Um be nice to other people for God, uh, bless my enemies for God. And I just don't see that biblically. Uh the more that I look at it, it's like, no, it's with him. Like I get to join him as we together bless my enemy. Um, I get to join him as I get to have cool conversations on a plane, like I had yesterday with this awesome person yesterday on the plane. That I didn't open that door. I just said, Jesus, if you want something cool to happen, you open that door and I'll I'll walk through it. That's just way more fun than me trying to like, I don't know, jam my way into doing good things for God. I just hang out with him and he seems to know what he's doing, so it's pretty cool.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, man. That's that blind faith. Um that's that's pretty incredible. So what was that? What was the the point? Like when you said, I remember you saying something, this was at the retreat, and you were like, I abandoned everything, like that whole being responsible, and then the it was like, well, well, the the Holy Spirit was then able to move uh through you probably freely, I guess. I don't know how you would put that, but yeah, man.
SPEAKER_00I've go ahead, go ahead. Yeah, I that that was kind of that that point of me just saying I'm done working for him. Like I'm done trying to build my kingdom basically in his kingdom. It's like I've got like this little suburb of Tim Timmins within the kingdom of God, and it's where comfort is, it's where I'm comfortable, it's where um I get what I want, but it's for God, like I'm still living for God, but it's like so much more about me than it is his kingdom. And once I kind of quit that thing, it was like, this isn't worth it. I'm exhausted, and apparently Jesus, hanging out with Jesus, is supposed to be like full of rest, not like easy, yeah. Um by no means, but but like restful, yeah. And I'm like, I'm not full of rest, I'm exhausted. And um I think as I started just joining him in my life saying, I'm done trying to like, you know, even think about John 15. Uh Jesus talks about being that we are simply uh branches attached to a vine. And if you think about it, like a branch doesn't have to like try to grow. Branch doesn't go, you know what I need to do? I need to really grow more for God. The branch is attached to the vine, and because the branch is attached to the vine, it grows, and then fruit grows out of the branch. Yeah, how cool is that? Fruit fruit doesn't grow out of the vine in this instance, fruit grows out of the branch, but I'm not making the fruit grow. I'm just hanging on to the branch, going, Jesus, you are my sustenance, you're my everything today. So when I can do that, when I'm like sober enough to to live that way, yeah, man, it's like let's go. We see the fruit flowing. Yeah, that's kind of it. That's my aim. So as I write this X on my wrist every morning, part of it's like, Jesus, you got me up again. Um, which cancer, you know, still is a hold on me in some ways. But so you woke me up again. And then the other half of it's like, Tim, don't work for God today. Just hang out with him. Like, just be a branch attached to a vine, let him do cool things, let him let people through you.
SPEAKER_01I love it, man. Um, I think I think sometimes when we're uh a lot of my brothers in Christ, like we come from such uh crazy past doing such like horrific things that we feel we kind of overcompensate with, oh we've been saved. Oh, now I gotta go all in. Just like when I was in the streets, I'm gonna go, I was all in. So now that I'm uh uh all I'm saved by grace through faith by Christ, oh man, I'm all in. Yeah, but that can sometimes come off with you know, like the the that that spirit of uh the spirit of like a Pharisee, you know, uh can come out, man. And that is so wise because the opposite. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So that's so true. What a what a great insight. Like that, because that can go both ways, right? You're nailing it, like, especially if you're like, man, I've I've gone the other way, I know what that does. So as I go all the way this way, we kind of like swing the pendulum, but then we're working for them again. And I and I wasn't necessarily living like crazy life. I was just I swung the pendulum and like I'm gonna do the best things for God. Yeah, and we both got there just from different you know backgrounds, yeah. And it just doesn't freaking work. No, man. Um, no, so yeah, and that's that's really insightful.
SPEAKER_01That balance. Um, so you've been playing music pretty much your whole life. Is that uh is that the deal? Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00I've been playing I started drums when I was seven and guitar at 11 and piano, and so I just man, it's just been kind of one of my releases. When my folks got a divorce, it was like my release to to write a song. I mean, they're crappy songs, but it was still I bet you they're not praying, you know. Yeah, and so that's I just haven't stopped, and then I just get to do this somewhat for a living, which is wild.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's that's a blessing, man. That's definitely from God, bro. That's uh that's like here. Oh, okay, you you want to be faithful? Here you go. Yeah, you know, doing what you love, you'll never work a day in your life, you know.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah. I'm an old man, and somehow I get to do this today. And tomorrow we'll see. If that that dries up, then I'll work at Starbucks or I'll do something. Who knows? But today this is what I get to do.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Um what's been the what's been the most challenging thing? Like taking on something, uh, the more the more exposure you get, the better your music gets, um, the more uh the world is gonna definitely pull on you, I would imagine. Yeah. So like what's what's been the challenge with that in and uh like just in and of itself, what does that look like?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's a great question. Um I think one of the things that I'm thankful for is now that I'm I'm an old man, um the the allure, um the allure of being awesome is just not there as much as it used to be. Um so when I'm I'm on the road right now and you know I will meet hundreds of people every night in my line. There's just a line of, you know, and I think in the past it would have been like, man, I'm pretty awesome. Uh, but now it's like I'm just I'm just a human along with these cool people, and we're all trying to figure it out, and we're just giving high fives, going, let's be friends. And um, so I'm thankful that just age has kind of given me, I think enough life has happened when I'm like, man, I tried to be awesome for a long time and it's just not worth it. Um, but I would say, you know, I'm always trying to figure out I live um with scarcity, meaning Jesus is inviting me into like abundance. Like, dude, don't worry about all these things. How much how much money you're gonna make in this. You know, I I get I get really lost in those things because I'm looking at my kids or at my um checkbook and going like, oh my gosh, I gotta work harder for this, but then you kind of lose touch with things. So I think that can really have a hold on me that you know my wife is such an incredible gift of like reminding me to pull back like today. We're we woke up again today. We don't have to go be worried about finances, we just we do what Jesus puts in front of us. So that can definitely get me get me going if I'm not careful.
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah, I'm sure. Uh Matthew 6 33. You know, yeah, so uh yeah, man, that's incredible. What's it like? This is what I gotta I gotta ask this too. Like, what's it like seeing your your you being portrayed by this man who is probably one of my favorite actors, by the way. Dude, he's a ball, he's a ball, he's phenomenal, yeah. Um what's that like like seeing your story being told on the big screen, man? That's got to be a trip. Yeah, it's got to be a trip.
SPEAKER_00Again, I just don't think I'm that awesome. And so when something like this happens, it's like, cool, that's so fun. And Milo's become like one of my really close friends. That's awesome. So in that, um, it's like, oh, I just got to watch one of my good friends act, and it happens to be about my life, you know? Um, pretty wild, man. But I think one of the things that was like one of the greatest gifts of watching all that stuff was, you know, when you're going through hard life, Kevin, and you're in the middle of it and you're just like pushing through, we're just trying to get to the other side of whatever that hard thing is, right? You're like, we're biding our time, whatever that looks like. And um you're just pushing through. And it's hard to see yourself like in a sober light. Like it's hard to see the real what's actually going on in your heart in the midst of those times. So I got to sit and watch this guy play me in some of my cancer moments. So I was given five years to live 25 years ago uh in curable cancer stage four, still tumors on my liver today. But there are some scenes that happen in that movie that I'm just sitting there while it's happening and I'm just bawling. Because I'm like looking back at myself and going, Oh, Tim, I'm so sorry, man. That time sucked. Like I have like empathy for myself, maybe for the first time, just being able to watch myself. So in in counseling and therapy, um, a lot of times they'll have like an extra chair in a room, and the therapist will go, Okay, Kevin, see this uh that chair right there. That's like that's like you 10 years ago. Do you remember this moment in time 10 years ago, and you were just you know going through something really hard? Like, just look at that guy for a second, have compassion for that guy. Like, what was actually going on his heart? What was he scared of? You know, it's a really powerful tool, but I just got to live it in a movie, and it was really, really powerful.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, actually, you know, you're bringing up uh my encounter with with Christ, right? Was in a prison cell. One of the first things he did was give me compassion toward my younger self. Like it was in this moment that I was able to forgive me, like all of I can't even explain it. It's uh that's a whole nother uh story, but that was one of the things, and to be able to look back and be like, hey, you know, that was that little broken kid just acting out, man. That's why I I'll I'll talk about it, but um, I I'm writing my story, and it's called The Boy Who Held Me Hostage.
SPEAKER_00Oh wow, that I love that title. So good. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So we'll see.
SPEAKER_00That's that's all of us. Like, that's whether a prison cell or worship leader of a ginormous church. Yeah, you know, isn't that crazy that like you were in that cell, but I it took me having to leave this ginorma church, you know. It's just so weird how God can invite us to a place from wherever we are, you know. Like that's that's pretty creative.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, man. Um, and and the the fact that freedom came in prison. Like, I found freedom in prison, man. Yeah, I was the freest I had ever been when he came. When I when Christ came into me, my heart, that was it. Uh I uh chains had no power, walls, bars, none of it. Come on. Um, so that's what he does, y'all. Um, so so what's uh what's the future looking like for you, my friend? What's the plans?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I wish I mean I I've got I have some plans. Like I'm on uh big tour right now, and I'll be on the tour in the spr uh fall. Um and I'm putting out a bunch of music and just wrote a book and all the stuff, but I'm trying to keep my plans kind of uh loose, trying to hold them loose, loosely. Nice. Like today's a day that God gave me. Amen. And I get to have plans for the future, but today's this today's the day. Like if I get through this day and I can make it to tomorrow, awesome. But Jesus is like, you know, you can worry about tomorrow if you want, but just deal with the things that are in front of you today. Love people really well, join me in all these things. So I'm trying making decision like decisions and trying to plan for certain things, but also holding them really loose. Yeah, if that makes sense.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So yeah, that goes back to to trusting God, man.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I mean, it sounds so silly and like almost like simplistic and um I don't know, elementary, but man, I think I think elementary faith is probably the most beautiful faith in a lot of ways. Just keep it real, you know.
SPEAKER_01Absolutely, keep it basic. Yeah, that's what that's the whole concept behind basic ministry with born-again soldiers in Christ was like that was created for that purpose of basic, sticking to the basics, man. It's like I think the gospel can get complicated when we want, you know, our flesh wants to study and dissect and all of this. Man, keep it, keep it born again, yeah. And you're a soldier now because you're gonna war against your flesh, yeah, and you're in Christ. Yeah, that's it. Yeah, like walk that thing out, yeah. Uh, yeah. Uh yeah, man. So what is your how's your family like reacting to to all of this?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, well, they think I'm now really good looking, finally, you know, because Milo is such a freaking stud. Um no man, it's been it's been really fun. I mean, just hopefully I'm no different um on stage or at a movie premiere or whatever than I am at home. And that's kind of my aim, is like, dude, I'm gonna be the same person for the most part in each of those places. And um, so that that that's my hope that my kids would see that. Um, and I think it's been just fun fun for them to watch, and they get to see some of my Hillary and I's life when we were younger that they didn't obviously see because they weren't born yet. Yeah, um, but man, yeah, parenting's the hardest thing I've ever done. Absolutely. Um, and the best thing I've ever done. So yeah, we're just trying, we're trying to figure it out.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Um, that's beautiful, bro. Yeah. Uh I want to say this too. My wife, right? Uh I was in a coma two years ago for seven days straight. Um, I had a crazy experience in there. Bob actually came and visited me at the hospital, but she played that song, uh, even if and she kept playing it and playing. And then finally on the seventh day in the evening, she she prayed to God and said, you know what, no matter what, even if he doesn't, you know, Bob doesn't wake up, and I didn't even want to say that. That felt weird uh coming out of my mouth. But even if he doesn't wake up, you are still God. I'm still gonna know you are God. And then I woke up the next day. Uh so praise God, man. Um, and we listened to it the other day, and uh it's just incredible and knowing where you wrote that from, like where that came from.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01Uh my goodness, bro. I just want to give you a hug right now, for real. Virtual hug. Um thank you. So, yeah, man. Um, yeah, really, you're touching so many, so many people. There's so many people lost, they've got everything out. On the outside looks fantastic, but on the inside, man, they're lost, they're broken, they're hurting. You know, um I wanted to encourage them. Have you wanna encourage them? What do you what would you tell them? Like, you know, what would you like to share with those people who feel like it's hopeless?
SPEAKER_00I just would say you're not alone, number one. That's a really lonely place to feel that. And whether you believe and are wanted to follow Jesus or not, it's just a really lonely place. And I'm sorry for whatever crap you're going through, friends. We're all in the middle of something. And if not, my dad always says, wait a week, it's coming, you know. Oh, I like that. It's just true. Like, life's just freaking hard. And we woke up again today. Like, life's really hard. We have to grieve this stuff, like, like it's just hard. And a lot of times we say, Life's hard, but God's good. And I don't love the word butt right there. I don't think it's actually really biblical, even to like like the heart of the Bible to say life's hard, but God's good. It's like life's hard and God's good. Like both can live at the same time. And I think life's hard and he woke you up again, whoever's listening, he woke you and me and us up, hopefully, again today. And I don't know why he woke you up. I don't know why he woke me up today. Um, but he did. And so I guess it's like, so friend, whoever's listening, what does that look like? Are you gonna just go through life getting up, brush your teeth, eat breakfast, go through your day, dinner, breakfast, or brush your teeth, then wake up again? Same thing. Like, is that is that the trajectory of the life that you really want? Or is there more to this life than just that? And I I'm I feel like I'm in preschooler. I I used to be like a a varsity American Christian, and now I'm like, I don't know about all that stuff. I just know Jesus is like kind of working on my heart so much, and I'm becoming more beautiful just because I'm just joining him going, dude, I don't know, I can't figure all this stuff out. I'm just gonna hang out with you in the grief and with gratitude that you woke me up again. And like, just what if he's actually real? What if he's actually freaking real? Not like Christian real, like, you know what, read your Bible, you know, like that crap. I'm just saying, like, I mean, you know what I mean? Like, what if God's actually real? Oh, yeah, he is. Like, what but I mean, I know that in my brain, but like, what what would happen if he actually were actually real and alive and well and at work in all of our things? And I just I know I've got to ask that question, and I I I've um the word believe is really interesting. So, you know, in America we talk about the word believe, like, do you believe in Jesus? Whatever. And the word believe is rarely ever used in the New Testament. Jesus hardly ever uses the word believe.
SPEAKER_01Christians use it like candy, but do you uh it's on bumper stickers, t-shirts?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, just everything's everything's you know, believe this, believe this, which is fine, but Jesus didn't use it much. Um, but when he did, it meant to be found living as though something is true. So I'm not 100% sold on Jesus and God. I'm not. I you know, I'm I wish I could tell you right now, everybody, that like I got this whole thing figured out and this is exactly what's right. I don't know. And I think it's also why it's called faith, is because I don't know all the things. I just look at the way of Jesus and look at what he's doing in my life, and I'm like, I may not have this 100% figured out, but I'm gonna bet my one and only life on this way of Jesus because it is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Amen. And watching what he's doing in me, I'm like, dude, this is I don't know, I don't get it all, but I I do know that um my life is being changed from him. So whoever's listening, I don't know, it's like worth just asking. What if he's actually real? And what if he's actually at work in your story and inviting you into like a crazy adventure? So that's what I would say. Literally, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Um, I like that. I like that uh that honesty too, because like for me, I jump right to he's real, because but I've had this this like very uh strange encounter. So I will take the sword, you know, whatever. Yeah, but like to to think about that because in in my past before I came to Christ, that question would have been like more profitable to me than someone just telling me he is that leaves it open for me to actually huh. Let me ponder that for a second. A little curiosity goes a long way. Yeah, it does. And what if, you know, like what if? Yeah, and like that's something to really, really think about. Um that's powerful, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that that changes me when I have when I have doubts of things. I'm like, was that me or was that God? Did God say that? Or was that just the pizza I ate last night that I really, you know, whatever. And there's a piece of it that's like, I don't know. I just know that Jesus' way is a lot about me laying my rights down. Jesus' way is always conflicting in my heart because I want to pursue greed or I want to pursue my rights. Um, I want to do what's best for me when Jesus is like, just so you know, I don't need all your like Christian songs and stuff. What I need you to do is bless your enemy. Um, I don't know if I need all your like praise, cool God talk. What I need is for you to be the one who's um generous, Tim. Or whatever that looks like. It's like that's the way of Jesus, dude. I won't I'll be about that any day. The guys it who've been in the worst places in the world, who've done the worst things ever. Jesus is the guy going, Hey, great, I know what you've done, and I love you like crazy. So let's freaking go. Let's let's pursue healing. Like, who does that? Like, I want to be with that God that's like, hey, anybody's welcome at my table. Yes, and I've seen you, and yet I I love you.
SPEAKER_01I mean, that's like that is isn't that yes. I was just gonna like it's way, way out there. It's hard to wrap wrap our minds around how do you do that? Well, you can't because there's no you can't put him in a container.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I can't what if it's actually true? Yeah, I know you know a bunch of us will answer it is, but like, what if? And what could that look like? And uh for me, I I think it's worth having conversations with some other people that um that would be curious enough to allow you to have good questions because a lot of times Christians will be like, nope, no questions, no questions, just believe this. It's like, man, I don't know. I don't know. I think God was he was pretty okay with questions, and he's okay with me cussing them out when I'm pissed. He's okay with getting all on like if he's freaking God, he's big enough to hold these things. So I I I will be with that Jesus any day.
SPEAKER_01Amen, bro. Amen. Uh Tim, so man, that went by quick. So uh, but real quick, the last the last uh question I have for you, my brother, before I let you uh go and enjoy the rest of your beautiful day here on earth, man. Um, my question is if you could go back and talk to your younger self, uh, what would you say?
SPEAKER_00Oh, what a great, great question. That's for every guest. I love that. I love that. Um, what would I say to younger Tim? Gosh, there's so many things I'd say to younger Tim. But I think I I in some ways I would have said um stop trying to do so many things for God. He doesn't really need you to do cool things for him, he just wants you to join him. Um but then again, I don't know if I would know Jesus like I know him today. Like part of my the journey of my life, I've done some stupid things and some great things, and but that all kind of has culminated to where I am today. And I part of me is like I couldn't have heard if somebody told me back then, you know, if somebody told you when you were whatever, 16, certain things, you'd be like, dude, screw off. Yeah, like I couldn't have heard I wish I could have heard things, um, but I couldn't have, and it took me to this place to be able to say, I don't know everything, but I am gonna practice just joining Jesus today. So it took me here. So for that, I may have said a few things, but I don't know if little Timmy would have heard it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I like that, man. That's that's one of the best answers so far. Uh most most definitely, most definitely. Oh, yeah, let's get one. This will be one of yep, there you go for the books. Um, Tim, man, I appreciate you coming on, my brother, and taking the time out of your day. I know you're a busy man. Honor.
SPEAKER_00I saw this. I saw this on there. They give me a whole list of all these things um of different interviews, and I saw this. I'm like, uh, yep, that's that's a go.
SPEAKER_01Oh, that's awesome, man.
SPEAKER_00Thank you so much for having me.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, man, and God bless you. Um, enjoy the rest of your tour. Uh be keeping an eye out for it. Uh, where can people find you, your music, any of that?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I mean, you can find me on any Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon, all that stuff. Um, and I'm on tour right now with Mercy Me through this month, and then I'll be back um out with Mercy Me for the rest of the year in the fall. So, yeah, just check that stuff out. I've got a new book out called Waking Up Again. Um, you can buy anywhere. And uh, you can go check me out on Instagram and be my friend there, or go to Timtimmons.com. So on this place.
SPEAKER_01That's wonderful. Are you guys uh heading to South Bend, Indiana by chance? Ooh, we just were there. Oh that I'm living sucks. Yeah, we were just that would have been fun, man.
SPEAKER_00We were just there, dang it. Yeah, uh Mexico. We're at some arena over there. It was super fun. Oh that's cool though.
SPEAKER_01Next time, yeah, man. Yeah, most definitely, most definitely. Well, Tim, man, God bless you, my brother. And uh again, yes, thank you. Thank you for taking the time. Of course, uh, and take care. Y'all heard it here on basic conversations until next time.
