This episode dives into the behaviors people call “small” in relationships—but that slowly destroy trust over time. Bryana and Yuri unpack modern cheating culture, emotional boundaries, secrecy, validation-seeking, and why people often minimize behaviors they already know are wrong.
Welcome to the Don't Piss Me Off podcast. If you love black girl brilliance, unfiltered opinions, and real talk, honey, you are in the right place. My name is Brianna. And my name is Yuri.
SPEAKER_01Last time we talked about intimacy. Today we're getting into micro cheats with major drama. Brianna, you know what a micro cheat is? Cheating is cheat. Because what's a micro?
SPEAKER_00A little bit. A little bit. A little bit. A little piggy toe in the big pond. Like you only fuck for a little bit? Just a little bit. What happened? I gotta know. I gotta get I gotta get into this because like what actually counts as cheating today? I feel like social media has blurred lines, ruined getting in people's DMs, liking too many pictures. Like, what is that little double tap? Yeah, because you're trying to get somebody's attention. Like in the same photos. Baby, the betrayal.
SPEAKER_01But before we dig into that, Brianna, tell me, who pissed you off this week?
SPEAKER_00This is totally unrelated. My cleaning lady. I am still upset about it. So my cleaning lady, you know, she arrives 15 minutes late. No big deal. I understand you got to find parking, whatever. Then she checks in, concierge calls me. Hey, you know, housekeeping is here. Um, can I send them up? Absolutely. 20 minutes goes by, she still doesn't come up. Um, so I tap in with her and I'm like, hey, are you okay? Did they let you up? Um, and then she tells me there was no parking. So I'm confused because you had checked in and got sent up, and then you never came to the door. Where did she go? I still don't know where she went, and I'm so annoyed about it. It's like where did you go? It's one way in and one way out. Where did you go? Then she was like, Oh, well, can I come at this time? Well, you were already here. Where did you go? What did you go do? What did you go do? You done picked up another job on you. Like, did you go to somebody else's unit and play me? I don't know. But, anyways, it pissed me off because it set my whole day back. Um, like literally, it set everything back. You know, when you like have a strict schedule and you're like, okay, this is gonna happen at this time. Well, that's happening. I'm gonna take care of X, Y, and Z. By the time that's done, I'm gonna come back, do X, Y, and Z. So that kind of fucked me up.
SPEAKER_01The big question, did she clean the house well?
SPEAKER_00She cleaned the fuck out of it. It was my first time uh having this service from this particular provider, and it was amazing. Okay, good. So I will call her again, but I am not playing these games. You go get her parking together, baby. I am not playing these games with her ass next time. You look at fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice. You can't fool me again. You can't get fooled again, bitch. You're done. You're fucking done. No, but she was amazing. The service was amazing. Um, but that definitely pissed me off because it it it it tore up my whole day. Oh my god. First half of my day. But we we on track now. We're on track. We're on track. We're on track. The week was great, we're good to go. The house is clean, smelling good. There you go. There you go. You know, one less thing off of my plate. So love that. Love that. Miss Heary.
unknownGo ahead.
SPEAKER_01What pissed you off this week? This is this is a general kind of like statement. And I feel like our, you know, followers and viewers can feel me on this. Like, I just this week has been like, I just hate lying. Like, I think a lot of people, I don't know if it's ego, it's keeping up with the Joneses, but like just tell me the truth. Like, once I find out that you lied to me, it could be big, small, like now. I can't trust you. Like now I can't unsee like you just not being honest. Like, I just I hate lying. Like, I I that's that's more shit for you to remember, you know? And like just disingenuous people, like that's another thing. They they go hand in hand to me. But like even pretentiousness, right? Like, if you don't like me, you ain't gotta like me. Like, I don't need you to fake it. I don't need you to conjure up the spirit to like engage. Like, I hate a networking event, like just a bunch of disingenuous fucking shit.
SPEAKER_00Like no one's ever networking at networking events.
SPEAKER_01A bunch of negative drums shit. I liars, disingenuous, fake shit. I just hate it all. I'm allergic to it. Yeah, I break out in hives. I don't know, like it's just been a week where it's like, it's okay. Like, I don't need the extra friend, I don't need the extra contact, I don't need the sob story that ain't true. Like, I just keep me away from the foolry and the fuckery, please. Like, I'm I'm good without it. Like, save that story for somebody who gives a shit. You know, it's okay. It'd be like that sometimes. I know, like, it's fine. Remember the band they tell me.
SPEAKER_00I'm never inviting you to a net ripping event, Dad.
SPEAKER_01I mean, I put it on and I go, but it's just not like it's really like we all know that this ain't real. Like, you don't, like, you ain't my friend today. Like, oh my god, nice to meet you. What you be saying, bag?
SPEAKER_00You look so good. It's been a while. How are you doing? You fake ass, disingenuous.
SPEAKER_01I have my business cards ready, bitch.
SPEAKER_00Maxwell is hurting the law. Maxine. I'll be in there with an elevator pitch. I know you do. I know you do. He's so good at it, too.
SPEAKER_01You so good at it. I'll be like, oh, okay, time to go. Okay.
SPEAKER_00One thing, one thing going corporate taught me, bitch. Had that elevator pitch ready. I'd be ready to. It's true.
SPEAKER_01You have to have it ready, but it's also like, we ain't fooling nobody. Like, it's it's not my favorite thing to do. It's not my favorite thing to do. I do prefer genuine people closer to me. But anyway, back to the other line and cheating. Right. Micro cheating. I what is cheating today? You said it earlier. What is cheating today? I think people have different definitions, and that's the fucking problem.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Because people think they ain't cheating with the clicks and the likes and the DMs and the work wives and the work husbands. That's fucking crazy. Who's that?
SPEAKER_00If I'm in a relationship, you can never tell me this is my work wife. Don't if we go to a company function and you introduce somebody as your work wife, she's getting worked. Like both of y'all are about to get worked. Correct. Like, correct. I don't think that shit cute. It's only cute when it's like you're two single people or like one gay and one straight. Like, I have a I have a work husband. That's my best seed, but he's gay. There you go. I can say that. There. You know what I mean? But also, I wouldn't be flaunting that if I had a partner. It's different. I'm a single woman. I can say I got a work husband, right? It's different. But uh, I'm not cool with that shit because now you you planting seeds. It's called planting seeds. There you go. You see my husband as your husband. Oh, this your work wife. You you you see a partner in her, but and how often are y'all hanging out?
SPEAKER_01What pattern have you created? Hello? This is lunch every day?
SPEAKER_00Y'all going to lunch? Y'all going out for drunk? I started packing and shit. What the fuck are you doing? Yeah. Deadass. Matter of fact, work wife, come pick his shit up. Like, dead ass. Like that shit is so weird. And I feel like small behaviors are more damaging than big behaviors. Because people think like, oh, well, it was just, no, it wasn't just shit. Motherfuckers be looking deep into shit. Like, I don't like, and this is why I don't like no friendly ass nigga. Like, what the fuck, you showing up all your teeth for in another bitch face? Ain't shit that motherfucking funny. I'm the funniest bitch in the room. So what the fuck you all over in that corner key keying ha hain for? Why the fuck I can hear you laughing from over here? And I'm not even a jealous person, but motherfuckers do too much and they be thinking it's nothing. And especially women be like, bitch, her niggas all in my face. Like that's why the little stuff is more damaging. It's true.
SPEAKER_01All that secretive, if if you're hiding it, if it's a secret, then nobody knows that it's a problem. You know, I just it's that creation of a pattern like you're confiding in somebody else. Like if you're starting to rely on somebody else, whether that's for attention or whatever that's for, what you doing it for? Yeah. You know, I mmm like when they're liking the same photo or the same person's profile.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. We cheating. You trying to get somebody's attention. Correct. If you on somebody page a little too much, if I get on Instagram and I'm scrolling down my timeline and it just so happens every time this person's on my timeline, you already in the fucking likes. The fuck is you doing?
SPEAKER_01And you know the people you know it be popping up right in the front. Like it'd be swimming with the heart now. Now you go on Instagram. Swimming. Bitch, did you retweet bitch? It's it's retweeted. It's it's floating with a heart.
SPEAKER_00Like the person looks in love on the fucking photo. Like, what? What are you doing? And I also feel like it's just disrespectful. I think when it comes to social media, there is a hard boundary, particularly if it's not on someone's post that is um presenting like an opportunity or an event or something great that they did. I'm talking about regular fucking selfies, titties out, ass out, you doing too much. Or it could just be regular selfies and you're always on this person's regular or many people's regular selfies. Like, what are you doing? It'll be different if someone's like, hey, um, next week, da-da-da-da-da. You guys pull up, did it? Okay, cool. Like a flyer. Yeah. You know, someone sharing a big moment, like the moment, congratulate them. Right. There's there's levels and boundaries, and people know what the fuck they doing. I'm tired of everybody acting like they don't know what the fuck they're doing.
SPEAKER_01Now, question for you do you think intention matters, right? Because you know the guys are like, I didn't mean like I didn't mean nothing by it.
SPEAKER_00Well, guys are idiots, as we have said before, and I love men. I can't live without them. However, they really don't think. Like you really don't think.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00But some people are playing in your face. Not everybody, but some people they know what they do. I don't always assume, because my thing is this cool. You didn't think nothing of it, I'm thinking something of it. Once I share that I'm thinking something of it, if there is no atonement for the behavior, now you just flat out disrespect me and I don't fuck with you now. Correct, correct. Because you're not considering how I set that makes me feel. I'm not I'm not policing your Instagram, but I am saying what you were doing is planting seeds and it feels fucking chaotic. And then you keep doing it, and you keep doing it because you really now you're being consistent with your shit. What why do people minimize what they know is wrong? Because they want to keep fucking doing it. They know what's right.
SPEAKER_01Because they know what's fucking wrong. That's why. It's who do we have on last season that was talking about lying to the one they love? Because you oh, yeah. Because you got a lot to fucking lose. Yeah. You want to keep lying because you're doing some shit and because you got a lot to lose. You ain't lying to the one you love, you lying to the one where you got more to fucking lose. Because that's the closer one. That's the one whose house you live in. That's the one who you married fucking to. So you know if this one fucking finds out, I'm losing all this shit. I'm losing all this fucking time I built, whatever it is. You you lying and you cheating because it's wrong. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And women cheat too. So this isn't like a man-bashing episode where only men cheat. Women cheat too. I just don't understand the point of it. Like, me personally, first of all, I'm loyal. You know what? I was talking to my mama. Go ahead, mama. I was talking to my mama a couple of weeks ago about a situation, and um, it was a sensitive topic. As y'all know, I had like ran into my ex and it was sad as fuck. But anyways, I had called my mom about it. And um, and she said something that I didn't know that she knew about me, which is crazy because she birthed me, but like, why would she not know? But my mom was like, you know, when you care, like you, you love hard. You're a person who loves hard. So I think that's why I'm so casual with some stuff because once I care, I'm in too deep. Even with my friends, I'm in too deep. Bitch, I already love you. So we're gonna fight like sisters and we're gonna get the fuck over it. You might have not liked what I said, but I said what I said, and we are gonna get to the bottom of it and we are gonna move on and continue to be lifelong friends. We are not gonna let this thing ruin our lives. And I am very much loyal when it comes to a man. Like, I don't see anybody else. Like when I am in for something for real, for real, like I am so proud to be in that. I'm I'm I know I look the fuck good. So when I'm stepping out with this man, I'm like, look how lucky he is to have me. And look how lucky I am to have him. Like, I am so deep when it comes to like for real, for real, being vulnerable and fucking with somebody for real. So when it comes to cheating, I don't understand why is this short moment of bliss, is it bliss? I don't even know what the fuck it is. It's destruction. I don't know what it is. I don't understand why that's worth blowing up your family, whether you're um a husband, a wife, or just in a partnership, especially when there are kids involved. Do you like it's it is such a selfish act? Yeah, it truly is such a selfish act. I would rather somebody tell me they need space or that they want to explore no matter how much it hurts, and us figure out what that space looks like, than for someone to fuck around on me, lie in my face about it, then I find out. Everything is destroyed after that. It is just it's deceptive. And my whole thing, what they say, um, what you what the granny said, uh, and if his if his feet stink, his ass too ain't too far behind. Like, no, if if if you gonna cheat, you gonna lie. If you are gonna cheat, you are gonna motherfucking lie.
SPEAKER_01Absolutely, absolutely. And I agree with you, like I'm I'm like you in that same regard. Like, if if I am, like this is my partner, this is the person that I've claimed as like the person that I am riding with. Everybody knows, like, I I take pride in being a person of my word. So, like, if this is like like what I've signed up for and this is my relationship, I look like an asshole if I'm now like disrespecting it. Like now I'm not taking my own shit seriously because I truly believe like when you have a partner, that person is a reflection of you and you're a reflection of them. So if I'm out there not taking the shit seriously, then I look like I'm with an eight shit ass nigga. And that's not the type that is not me. Yeah. So I I firmly believe that like if I'm gonna jump all in, like I I'm like you said, I'm the same way, like I'm all in. Like if this is us and this is a title, and we walking through the street holding hands, and they know that that's in that in that realm, there's I'm not ruining that. Yeah. You know, and I'm not making myself look bad or you look bad because you are reflection of me. Yeah. Right? Like they're gonna look at you like a chump if I'm treating you like one. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And that I ain't with no chump. And how many times do we have those acquaintances or friends where when you're friends with both parties and you know the guy is cheating, maybe she knows he's cheating, but nobody talks about that. We know he's cheating. And it's just it's really sad because it's like, why are you there? Number one, or number two, and it's not about caring what people think, but everybody thinks you're dumb. Like, we all know this man is loose.
SPEAKER_01Listen.
SPEAKER_00And yes, we love y'all together, and he's great as long as you're right there. But like the moment you're not around, girl, man. It's in everybody's face and not just in their face, acting on these things.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Which leads me to believe We all got a people, like a something like that, more than one, I'm sure.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So do you think cheating happens all at once, or is there a buildup? Oh, a buildup for sure.
SPEAKER_01Well, they gotta they gotta Mac to them, they gotta take them out on dates.
SPEAKER_00That's true. Well, not everybody.
SPEAKER_01You could just go get a little street walker. You know, get it get you a little street walk. I I firmly believe it doesn't matter. They still work in the streets? Is that where they are? I don't know where they are. Um they somewhere. They got internet for them. They got back in LA. I don't know where they be out here. I don't know. Yeah, I don't know where they are either. Okay. In the Bronx. The whole straw. The whole straw. They out on stroke. Not the Bronx.
SPEAKER_00Oh my God. The disrespect.
SPEAKER_01No, but I think um it definitely is a buildup. You know, it's a, and especially there's those, uh there's men that cheat when they know, like it's like, well, you know, I got somebody, so so they're gonna test the water. They're gonna see, I do think it's a buildup, and then it's the pattern that builds, and then it creates like you just you just eroding the fucking mountain, you know, like you just taking pieces and pieces until you full-blown got a whole side bitch or side dude, you know.
SPEAKER_00Why do you think people ignore the patterns? Like, you know your partner cheating, but you don't have proof, but you know that he's got a pattern. Everybody's got a rhythm, a pattern, a schedule. Why why do you think people ignore it?
SPEAKER_01Oh, I I mean, I think denial, embarrassment, um it's a it's an age, I do think it doesn't speak for everybody, but I think there are women or men that define themselves by the relationship. So like if they accept that it's this pattern of cheating with their partner, then they have to end what they built, you know, and then that that's disappointing to them. I think it's I don't know that that's a healthy way to deal with it. I do think there's a difference between being like boyfriend, girlfriend, and then there's marriage, you know, like what you're giving up in the union you created, whether you fight for it or you fight or you don't, whether you've been together for five months or five years or 50 years. I do think there's a whether you're willing to fight past the cheating, whether it's something that's fixable. But I do think that there are women and men out here that, you know, it's like the relationship's bigger and they don't want the embarrassment of it. I think that can be a factor. What do you think about that though?
SPEAKER_00Well, I think a couple of things. Yeah, I think a couple of things. I think there once was a time where women couldn't do shit. You had to have a man and it didn't matter what the fuck he was doing, right? No. There was a time where we didn't work. There was a time that our soul stability was based on our partner being married. Motherfuckers was married at like 12, 13, 14, 15, long, long, long ago, right? Um, however, I think there's some trauma with that. Like, I think there's like a a wiring in women to where they are wired, like, well, as long as he's taking care of the house or this, I look the other way. Because, like I said, there was a time where the man went out, he fetched the bacon, and the woman fried it when he got home, right? Yeah. So it was like a piece of a man is better than no man at all because I have no other way to have resources other than this man. So I think there's like some of that. Fear of being single. Totally. Yeah. I think there's some of that deep, deep, deep wiring, um, just in women in general. Um, but I also think that, you know, people choose to look the other way because they don't think they're worth more. Not always, it's not in every situation. Sometimes resources, especially when both people are extremely successful, it's a little messy and it's harder to walk away because there's so many assets and just different layers involved and children. But I do think um I think people don't know their worth in uh in many areas. Um, men too. And I think especially when a man gets cheated on, oh, it's the end of the world. Even if he has cheated first or multiple times, the the moment the woman steps out, it is hell, yeah. In the home. She's every name in the book. She gotta go, you gotta kick her out and all this other stuff. Um, and I just think it's it's never one thing when someone steps out. I think it's a multitude of things that people have allowed to build up because there's no communication. Or some people are just habitual assholes. Some people are just habitual assholes, it's ego, and they think they should touch and fuck everything.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And I mean, we we touched on it, but uh social media has not made this any easier. Like the the illusion of access and options is insane. You just swipe through it, you could click it, you could DM it. Like the world is at your reach. Yeah. In terms of thinking these people are attainable and accessible. And, you know, I don't they want to go past and go to OnlyFans and all that shit. But it literally, it's like, oh, I can literally send a DM and see, you know, from the the their handheld device. Yeah. You know, it just makes it so much easier. It's not this, oh, I have to go outside my house to a bar to bump into somebody. I can be at work cheating. Cheat. Listen, you could plan a whole meetup hotel, right in front of the computer at work and still setting up a cheat.
SPEAKER_00That's crazy. Done. Done. See you when I get off. Crazy. And I think when when people, and and I don't give a shit about who's forgiving their man and who's going back or who's going back to their woman after someone's cheated. I think the challenge is when there's forgiveness without standards or boundaries. It's like, okay, you took your man back. Good for you. I'm glad y'all worked through it. Totally. Or you took your woman back. I'm glad y'all worked through it. However, did you set a boundary now? Or are they gonna habitually do it because you keep taking them back without any type of standard, without any type of accountability, without any type of atonement? Why are we, why are we moving like that?
SPEAKER_01And when you say that, like I keep like thinking to myself, like, do you think they're avoiding or they're accepting these, you know, empty apologies to avoid starting over? Like, that's a little bit of denial for them. Like, because who wants to be the girl that got cheated on? Like, how does that feel? You know what I mean? I think I got cheated on bitch.
SPEAKER_00First of all, everybody knows as an adult, I've only had one relationship. That was a beautiful relationship. My only other relationship was in high school. I was with my high school sweetheart for a hot minute, and I swear this motherfucker was cheating on me all the time. I had no proof. Because how are you cheating in high school? What are we really doing to cheat in high school? Whatever it was, yeah. All I know is he used to be lying about shit. So I was always just like the T. And um other than that, I don't really know what it's like to get cheated on. It is embarrassing. It is hurtful. I would not want it to happen to me. But if it did happen to me, because it's not uncommon, I don't think that I would shy away from the truth of it. I do think that if I was choosing to stay in that relationship, there would have to be some actual. Fucking change. There would have to be real boundaries. But I'm also one of those persons where I'm like, I can't fucking unsee it. Yep. And you're a bitch to me now. And I don't fuck with you. You a bitch. Like you have no self-control. A man with no self-control is the most unattractive thing ever. You can't keep your dick in your pants. You and you can't control your drinking. So you went out like it like lack of self-control is so unattractive. You just out here loose, literally and figuratively. And that is bitch energy. I don't like that shit. What do you like?
SPEAKER_01What would that look like in terms of call them cheating and then apology changed behavior? Like, what does it look like to ask? Okay, if you do this, we could build trust back.
SPEAKER_00I don't know because I haven't been cheated on. So you would you would have to know your person and know A, how they move, and B, if they're really putting forth effort. I don't know how to answer that. Yeah. But what I do know is you were doing everything in your power to make me feel secure. And not just for a couple of weeks because you fucked up and you're in the doghouse. I'm talking about reassurance, true, honest reassurance on a consistent basis for a fucking lifetime, which is what you should have been doing in the beginning. Right. In the beginning. So I think we gotta, we definitely gotta choose people better too. Because if you got this man from cheating, from him cheating, how you think you finna keep him or lose him the same damn way, right? They've been saying that forever. They've been saying how you get them is how you lose them. So I truly, truly believe in that. He's not gonna stop cheating. You listen, ain't enough motherfucking golden coins in that fucking pussy that's gonna make him do something different just because he got with you. He is who he is when you met him. And I'm not saying that people cannot change. I just think when it comes to certain characteristics, you would be a damn fool to think that something as moral or character flaw as that is gonna change because you're just the one. Like you said, like they only get better at doing listen.
SPEAKER_01Like you said, the impulse control. Like, you know, if they can't control themselves, then then what? And because we're talking about microcheating, do do you think that like small gestures is bigger than like one big like when they when they're making up? Well, no, like small behaviors, like you got um, you got a dude that has engaged with somebody at work and they've confided in not quite like sex, but then there's one person that had one night of sex, like one big behavior versus little small behaviors.
SPEAKER_00Well, confiding in someone is emotional. So I feel like that's even worse because men and women look at sex differently. And I'm not saying it's okay, but I am saying is if you ask a man what was more vulnerable for him, was it fucking and cheating? Or was it confiding and literally talking to someone and opening up your emotions? And I think for women, um, and I don't want to speak for everybody, but I think for some women that hurts even more. Like maybe I can get past you fucking up, having to slip up and sleeping with someone, but you confide it. You've been telling this person our business, your business, family business, you know, confiding in them, excuse me, confiding in them for about work or whatever, you know, that's what your partner is for. That that's why we have this covenant. This is what marriage is. Why are you going outside the marriage to discuss those things with anybody? And I think probably emotional cheating hurts a lot more.
SPEAKER_01Because you're thinking about those secret conversations, you're getting emotional validation from somebody else, you're seeking out validation from somebody, all that.
SPEAKER_00But does that also mean was I not validating you? That that, yeah. But I also think women, we am we automatically blame ourselves, right? Yeah. So whatever the fault is, we go internal and say, damn, did I have a shortcoming in this area that made this person seek it somewhere else? And sometimes it's yes, and sometimes it's no. He's just an asshole. Correct.
SPEAKER_01Or they want the bullshit. Like, yeah, that's what you wanted, then go have it. Yeah. You know.
SPEAKER_00What about deleting messages? Do you think that's weird when people delete messages in their phone? Oh, fuck yeah. Yeah, that's sneaky as well. Because what you deleting shit for? I don't go through phones. I've said this time and time again. I don't either. I'm not a nothing, the moment I feel like I gotta go through your phone, we already fucked up. Oh, yeah, the trust is gone. Yeah, yeah. I I've never gone through a phone with somebody.
SPEAKER_01Unless you want to lose weight, go through somebody's phone. You ain't gonna eat shit, bitch. You're gonna be stressed the fuck out. Girl, are you on the big oh no, bitch?
SPEAKER_00I'm on the big no bitch. I went through his phone. I went through his phone, bitch. I ain't eating two weeks. And I'm still not hungry. That's when you go through the phone. Like I lost my whole appetite. Definitely. Stressed out. What about what about when they say it's just friendly? What if you do go through it and it's not deleted or it's a DM and they're like, oh, it's just friendly. It means nothing.
SPEAKER_01They lying. They've like lying. No. Um one, I I would presume the partner that I have, uh like I I know your people. You know, like who's this bitch? Like, who is this? You know, like I it shouldn't, I don't think it should be a surprise if you are as entwined as we're supposed to be. Um, especially if you do there's no reason I think you shouldn't be deleting shit. This disappearance stuff, the 24 hour, and all I don't. I always keep a receipt, so I don't, I I I got messages in my phone since you know the 1800s, okay? You shall be scrolling back like on my computer. So I just don't Wheel of Fortune on that shit. I just I want to know what I said and what you said, so I don't I I will go back and get a quote in a second before I miss quote something. You said we're going back to the receipts, many.
SPEAKER_00There's transcripts, okay. Have you ever excused something that you shouldn't have?
SPEAKER_01Um not recently, but I've definitely like I've been in a previous relationship where I was, he I don't know if he was cheating on me, but like I caught him doing some shit where it wasn't nigga, you fucked them, but it's fine. It I never saw him the same way. It was it was the beginning of the end for me. Like we lived together, so it was a progressive decline. But once it was, I I let it slide so that like I paid rent jointly for the next couple, whatever months keeping the peace. To keep the peace, and then my ass was out to law school, and I was like, I ain't never coming back. You know, like it was it was like, okay, what am I really? I'm gonna be sad and mad right now. But at the end of the day, we had too much intertwined to like leave it, like it wasn't like a firm stop.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01But I I knew what I was like, that was it. Like I let it slide, I guess, for housing purposes.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Listen, once again, that goes back to that stability. Like, listen, I split I split rent with this person. We both own the lease, or maybe it's just me on the lease. And to keep him paying so I don't get fucked at the end, let me just, you know, act one way, but in the back of my mind, I'm dis I'm disconnected. I've been packed up my shit and I know I'm moving the fuck on and like we said, once the trust is broken, it's it's hard to, you know, and then it's the deception, right?
SPEAKER_01Like it's it's the lying behind your back. Yeah. So the times when you believe that he was doing this, or you believe that he was out with the boys, or when he he blaming, oh, like I was mad and I want to answer the phone. He was with another bitch. Yeah. You know, um, and then the friends know, like, come on, man. It's okay, dude. Like, embarrass that bitch. Like, I'm good.
SPEAKER_00Period. And on that note, micro cheating is major drama. There is no small nothing. Like, cheating is cheating. And um, one thing about me, I'm about to cheat and sif on some of this patron. Cause baby, this one took me out.
