SPEAKER_08Denim, denim, denim. Nah, you know what that say right there.
SPEAKER_09I don't even know, dog. Who we look reading again.
SPEAKER_08Who we are, where we are, and what we do. Okay. I like that drink, man. I like that shirt, though. Who is that on your shirt? Oh, you know, my man, Marvin Gay. Oh, man, Marvin Gay.
SPEAKER_09Hey, Marvin Gaye.
SPEAKER_08Marvin Gay, yeah.
SPEAKER_09Straight from DC.
SPEAKER_08Yay. Oh, yeah, young. You drive fresh, huh?
SPEAKER_09You know what I'm saying? You're out here, dog. Seems like you got uh rocking museum stuff. You know what I'm saying? Uh do they sponsor this joint or something? Like, I don't know. We always gonna support them though. Uh yeah, I understand that. I agree.
SPEAKER_08I wasn't saying that in a bad way. Nah, I mean we always gonna support the home team. Shout out to Trey, shout out to everybody over at the museum. Yeah, shout out to everybody over there. Uh Reek, not Reek, yeah. Yeah, shout out to Reek. Shout out to the home team. Got you. All day, every day. I got you. So what you know?
SPEAKER_09Man, same old, same old dog. Trying to live my life, man. Yeah, trying to be great. Trying to be great out here.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, me too, man. Yeah, yeah. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_09That's that's all we can do, right?
SPEAKER_08Yeah, yeah. That's all we can do, man. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, man. Like your socks, dog. Thank you, dog.
SPEAKER_09I don't need to put them in the camera. They good. Don't nobody need to see my socks, dog.
SPEAKER_08They will. Dumb Jones. Thumb Jones say fruit of the loom.
SPEAKER_09Yeah, they do. Yeah. Fruit of the loom. I don't understand, dog. I do not understand. You have these crazy little, like, I don't understand these little things. What is it? Crazy little what, yeah? I don't even know what to call them. Stupid things. You got these crazy little stupid things that you hang your hat on for no reason at all. You're right, yeah. I know, young. What you you what happened to your yeah, yeah, you grew out of that or something? You used to wear like beads and stuff like that all the time. Used to have wrist beads, used to have like big beads around your neck. Like, you know what I'm saying? Yes, funny you ask Dr. Dr. Uma, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_08Yeah, I used to wear, I used to be beat it up. Hey, what happened? You know, young. What happened? I mean, I used to wear Converse a lot. I used to wear, so one thing that I do, young, is I create a new style like every two, three years. I just change up and I just like, I'm gonna do this now. I'm gonna do this.
SPEAKER_09So I've known you for a long time, and I don't I think this is the only style change that I've seen.
SPEAKER_08What? Remember, I I wear casual uh pants now. You remember casual pants?
SPEAKER_09Right, that's what I'm saying. This switch up has been the only one. Remember, because you said y'all.
SPEAKER_08I had a sweatsuit phase. All I wore was sweatsuits. I still I still be rocking sweatsuits pretty heavy. Yeah. But like a sweatsuit phase, just comfort. I had the little uh shorts phase, uh like long shorts, B more yo shorts, memor long shorts. You probably rock them joints now. I do remember you had them joints. I used to rock those. I used to rock Converse, and then I went through a PF Flyers phase when I was wearing PF Flyers.
SPEAKER_09Why does it though? But why does it have to be a phase? Why, why do you, you know, limit it to okay, in this particular year of my life, I'm only wearing this. This particular life, um, this particular Yeah, that's what it sounds like.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, that's what it sounds like to you, because you've been judgmental and critical. I'm not you I'm just I'm just talking about like the idea of like I just it's certain things that I enjoy.
SPEAKER_09Do you wear PF liers?
SPEAKER_08I don't I I don't have anymore. Exactly.
SPEAKER_09Do you wear Converse? Exactly. Do you wear Converse?
SPEAKER_08I got a few.
SPEAKER_09But do you wear them?
SPEAKER_08Nah. Exactly. I can tell you what you're talking about. I can tell you why. You ask a question, then you breathe heavy. Y'all, yeah, I know today is gonna be one of those days.
SPEAKER_09Go ahead, go ahead. Because you match your glasses with your outfit. That's why it's gonna be one of these days. Why why you do you need to be able to do that?
SPEAKER_08Because I'm 44 and I can't wear flat foot shoes no more.
SPEAKER_09Okay. I gotta wear shoes with support.
SPEAKER_08I gotta support myself.
SPEAKER_09Why you why you don't wear Baltimore Capris no more? Yeah, come on.
SPEAKER_08Is that even a question? No, yeah, it's this is a valid question. Nah, dog, it's not it. I lost. I was losing when I was. So you was losing when you was wearing Baltimore Capris. Losing when I was wearing them joints out in the streets, dog. I had the hip clip too, the little cell phone hip clip. You had that? You ain't never had no hip clip.
SPEAKER_09How long ago was this, dog? You ain't never had no hip clip? That's you gotta answer that question.
SPEAKER_08When hip clips was out. Remember everybody had their cell phones on their hips?
SPEAKER_09Yes.
SPEAKER_08I was in Bama.
SPEAKER_09I used to was yeah. Yeah, I was a Bama. I went, I went, I went super hard because I had the two-way pager and I had the uh the what's on that and I would have the two-way pager and the cell phone on my head. Catching the metro, thinking I was like that.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, see that's what I'm saying, yo.
SPEAKER_09Catching the subway.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, that's extra Bama. So you put sauce on your Bamadum. Like it's you.
SPEAKER_09I mean, I put sauce on everything I do. So if I'm gonna be a Babber.
SPEAKER_08Even that reply.
SPEAKER_09I would be a Babber to the fullest degree.
SPEAKER_08You're right, young. And you have been successful. You have big successes. Yeah, you funny. 100%, yeah. It's funny.
SPEAKER_09Yeah. My bad, y'all. My bad. I only did it, so I only I'm getting it's getting less and less. Yeah, but what's going on with you, yeah?
SPEAKER_08I mean, life, man. Um, I was talking about that congestion.
SPEAKER_09I don't know, yeah. I think the glasses be pulling my like I don't know, yeah. You gonna blame me. Oh, let's talk about this. I'm glad you brought it up, even though you didn't know you brought it up. I am pissed off with you. I am pissed off with you because you forced me to cut my nose hairs. And what I tell you, it was the worst sleep I've ever had in my life. I've just recovered a day ago. I cut my nose hairs four days ago and had the worst sleep in the last two days. The last two to three days had the worst sleep. Why would you why would you tell me to do that? Why did it disturb you so much that you actually bought uh uh uh nose clippers and put them in my car? You know what I'm saying? And and then you young.
SPEAKER_08Hey, I'm just you know, I think one of the things about being having your homie is they're supposed to have your back. Your homie is always supposed to have your back. 24-7, 365, your homie's supposed to have your back. Young, you keep walking, you was walking around, dog, with nose heads like touching your lip, young. And that's ridiculous. You're exaggerating. Young. Was your nose heads outside of your nose? One.
SPEAKER_09One was, but I don't think that that was the issue. Like, what why is that an issue?
SPEAKER_08So, this is the thing, and this is where you went wrong. Let me just talk to you about this. Men have, that's why they sell them, nose and ear tremors, right? Yeah. Because as you get older and you know you're in your 50s, so as you get older, no, your hair grows ridiculous. You know what I'm saying? My chest head crazy. I'm a whole, yeah, it's crazy, right? So you gotta make sure that you groom yourself. Now, you was against grooming yourself. So I, you know what I'm saying? I was in Marshall's one day. I was like, oh man, I could buy $7.99 clippers, but let me tell you where you went wrong. You take the nose clipper and was cutting your nose head like you was giving yourself a bald head. I know. I even take the nose clipper and goes young when you know it's going. You clean out your whole nose clip.
SPEAKER_09No, like no, I did not know. I didn't know. I didn't know that I wasn't supposed to do that.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, so that's not my fault. That couldn't be your error.
SPEAKER_09No, it's use the error because I didn't know how to use it, and you just gave it to me without instructions and just said cut your nose heads. Alright, so listen, you know now.
SPEAKER_08When you cut your nose head, I'm not cutting them no more.
SPEAKER_09Please. I don't care if they grow. I don't care if they grow long enough that I can braid them. I am not cutting them anymore. And you talking about grooming, do you do you do you uh shave your chest heads?
SPEAKER_08Yes.
SPEAKER_09You shave your chest heads? Young, do you know how much chest hair I have? You shave your chest head.
SPEAKER_08Yes, you don't have no chest head.
SPEAKER_09You make a design. Do you have chest hair? I don't.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, you don't know nothing about it. I don't. I have I've never had chest head. Yeah, you wouldn't know nothing about this life. Yeah. You wouldn't know nothing about this, but it's so much. It's so much. So and again, and you know it's gray now, it's cellar fan dust. No, young. I'm not walking out in the streets like that.
SPEAKER_09Come on, man. And so you you you you cut it to be like butt-naked, like you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_08Like if I'm going to the beach or something like that. Nah, I'm not cutting it every day. You know what I'm saying? How old do you cut it? Like, I cut it mainly when I'm about to, like, if I'm about to go to the beach or something like that, or go to the pool. Can't be exposing myself to the like, you know what I'm saying, out here with the great chest head, dog. But that's the only time you cut it. Nah, I cut it when I'm when I feel like it. So most this is funny. When I'm grooming, like if I'm cutting my beard or I'm shaving my head, or you know what I'm saying? I sometimes just go willy-nilly. I just just just get rid of all of it. Yeah, why not? You know what I'm saying? Who cares? Okay. Well, you I mean, is it a problem with shaving?
SPEAKER_09Nah, I just I just I don't have it. So you know what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, if you had it, you would shave it. No, probably you wouldn't. Because the way you let your nose hair grow, you'll probably be one of them dudes who you probably have hit back hair and all that. You just wouldn't even care. Probably. Yeah, you should. I mean, says you, but I mean, I ain't really tripping. I can tell. Yeah, I can tell because you know what? You have your excessive. So when you cut it, you're gonna cut.
SPEAKER_09I'ma make a design. I'm gonna spell out my name.
SPEAKER_08That's how you know what I should do. That, yeah.
SPEAKER_09You're a bammer for even thinking that, yeah. Would you put Vic in your chest? Yeah, that's wild, yo. V I C. That's wild. That's wild. I don't believe you even thinking that. I wouldn't go nowhere with you.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, you would.
SPEAKER_09No, I wouldn't. I swear I wouldn't go nowhere with you.
SPEAKER_08Hey yeah, so look, I was watching this uh, you know what I'm saying? I thought this real tight uh video came I wanted to show you. I ain't send it to you because I wanted to, you know what I'm saying. I want you to see it. Kind of tell me what you think. Okay, because yeah, I won't even preface it. Okay. You just kind of tell me.
SPEAKER_00Faith isn't the kind of dynamic faith that I'm talking about. It's not believing in some God in the sky. Faith is my belief about myself, faith is my belief about the presence of God in me. Faith is my belief about the power of God within me. Faith is my belief about the possibilities of God within me. So you think some of you probably never thought of the Bible as the book of self-image psychology, but it is. You may have never thought of Jesus as the teacher of self-image psychology, but he was because he said, according to your faith, so be it unto you. Whatever you believe yourself to be, you will be that. And whatever you are now, you are that because you believe that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_09Yeah, and that's powerful, huh? Reverend Ike. That's powerful. Like the name alone is powerful. Reverend Ike. Reverend Ike is Yeah, it's like Reverend Sam. Yeah, I'm just the name. I never heard of Reverend Ike before.
SPEAKER_08Oh. I was confused.
SPEAKER_09Yeah, don't worry about it. Let's not take, let's not go off, let's not venture off with that.
SPEAKER_08I'm not gonna go off because I didn't know where you was going.
SPEAKER_09Nah, yeah. Um, I mean, I believe that. What do you believe about it? Have you ever, I know you've heard this joint that says, um, if you think you can, you're right. If you think you can't, you're right. Yeah. So I believe that. You know, I've always um felt like I've always felt like if you truly believed in something and you truly worked hard towards it, like every single day, that nothing can stop you from getting it. Like nothing. It may not come when you wanted to come. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? It may not even come in the form that you wanted to come in, but you're going to get it. Like it's no, it's no stopping that at all.
SPEAKER_08You said the word I've always. When when did when did when when do you remember that becoming real?
SPEAKER_09I think we talked about this last time. Um my first Oh, when you did the the Yeah, my first Happy Birthday, yeah.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, okay, yeah.
SPEAKER_09That was my first idea that that that really like came to fruition and I was like, whoa.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, okay. Yeah, so when you were singing happy birthday around the hood. So you did remember it since you was a little, like you were a little one. Yeah. Yeah, that's that's and so for me in that joint was power, it was power in the conversation about the belief of God living within you.
SPEAKER_09Yeah.
SPEAKER_08And when you talked about like the Bible, like this idea of self-image psychology. Like when I seen it, you know, my first before I was bro victorious on Instagram, I was God lives within. That was my that was the title of it. Yeah. Uh and I've always believed my my belief, like my spiritual belief, is that God lives in all and everything, and that we should treat it as such, and that I should treat it as such. So, you know, I believe that God lives in plants and insects and in like bees and human beings and you know, the things around me, and that I should treat everything, and God definitely lives within me, that I should treat it as if God is expressing Himself through those things.
SPEAKER_09Okay.
SPEAKER_08You know? And so when he was having that conversation, he was talking about it, it w it hit me pretty hard because I was like, oh, that's exactly kind of how I believe. And I think that sometimes, but I think both of those energies live inside of you, like God and the devil, like that positive and the evil. Um and I think that we got, you know, you make a choice about which one you want to focus on. You know? Um and so a lot of times people I've I've been told before, people be like, oh, you just so optimistic. I'm like, I think as you kind of talk about you are what you believe. And so for me, it's just like why not see the God? I think that until you show me something else. Yeah, then I'm gonna believe you that. And it's real hard for me to go the other way after that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_09I I always like when we speak about certain things, I always um like how did you get there? Let me let me start with questioning. How do you think you you you got to that place?
SPEAKER_08To what place?
SPEAKER_09The the the belief that you have about God being within and um you are what you you think. That's how I was raised. You are what you think.
SPEAKER_08I was raised that God lives within.
SPEAKER_09Okay, what about the you are what you think, and the focus on positivity, or uh do you believe in you can do whatever you put your mind to is like. I just like that. Okay.
SPEAKER_08I just that was in my adult life when I opened up Spizzy. Okay, because that was one of those times where you where I dreamed something and I was like, oh, it happened. Yeah. And that's just what a lot of support and people kind of helped. Like I could believe in the good in people, but like the execution of a dream and you could do all those different things, yeah, came a little bit later.
SPEAKER_09Okay.
SPEAKER_08Um in my adult life. Uh I've seen glimmers of it, like when I was working in schools and stuff like that. Like, I see someone, oh, I want to do this, but it wasn't like something that I decided to execute like from the start. Um, but the the belief in God in me, and God lives in through me and through the existence of all that I see uh since I was, you know. Um, I think it has evolved as I have grown older. Uh, but yeah, it's been in my adulthood for sure. Yeah.
SPEAKER_09Okay, it makes sense.
SPEAKER_08And it's and it's also like sometimes it can be uh tough because you know, I think one thing about God is that human existence, what humans have tried to do with God is compartmentalize how people can receive God. So like religious denominations and how like, oh, you can only get God through here this way, you can only get God through that way. Yeah. And so sometimes it could be uh tough to have those types of conversations because you can be very spiritual, connected to the to the most high and see and feel the most high through you, and feel like you can't navigate the way in which you want to navigate to the most high because the world is telling you that you gotta do it this way, yeah. Um, and that you're a sinner or you this or you that if you don't do it in this particular way. Yeah. Um, so that's always been something for me. Now as an adult though, like, and since I started studying history, you're able to kind of see what the play.
SPEAKER_09Like, I'm like, uh, okay, this is all so, so, so yeah, let's even go down that road. I have me personally, I'm a Christian, you know. Um but I'm scared of history. And I think I'm scared of history because I think it'll make me question my religion. And I don't necessarily want to question my religion.
SPEAKER_08Why not?
SPEAKER_09I don't know. I just feel like I don't know. I I I never really thought about it. Because I don't know, like I I I guess my identity, some of my identity is tied to it, or some of my, you know, family or whatever is just tied to this religion. Yeah, yeah. And the religion has been, you know, it it it has been uh good, you know what I'm saying, to me. And I just don't want to, you know what I'm saying? It's like uh how can I explain it? It's like I I don't know how to explain it. I wish I could, but it's it's it's just having something good in your life, and you are appraising it and putting it up on this pedestal, and you know it has a history or whatever, and you know that that history may change some of the things that you think about that person now. And because you think uh so highly of this person, you don't necessarily want to dig into that history because I really don't want to know that part because of what I know you to be now.
SPEAKER_08No, that makes sense, and that could be I think it could be uh uh a critical? That sounds like I don't know if critical is the word, but it's the it it could create doubt. Yes, yeah, and you and I think the whole conversation is about faith and you not necessarily want to get doubtful and yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Um I get it, I understand it.
SPEAKER_09So would you know in the history that you know, like how do you like how does that work?
SPEAKER_08Yeah, so I think some people in certain parts of your life, you you just choose you know, you choose not to question, right? You you want to live. I always talk about this. Oh I say this all the time. It's like I wish I was ignorant to some stuff, like you know what I'm saying? Like, I I wish that I had ignorance of certain things so I wouldn't have to be responsible for it. Yeah, so I because there's bliss in it, yeah. Um, but you know, if it it it understanding it can also maybe enhance your connection to to it. And so for me, religion has always been a way in which man has tried to grapple with some of the biggest questions in the world. And that biggest question is how are we here? What are we here for? And what are we supposed to be doing while we're here? Right. And I think man has, and when I say man, I'm talking about man and woman. We've always been trying to figure that out or think about that. And so most people don't want to think critically about it. So they just like, okay, whatever you say, this is what the plan is, this is how I'm gonna like attach to this particular thing without necessarily wanting to dig deeper into it because other parts of our lives we gotta think so deeply, like how I'm gonna pay the rent, how I'm gonna get the game, you know what I'm saying? So my relationship with God, you just tell me, all right, got a direct connect, and I'll just handle it that way. Yeah. Um, but for me, it never like even the way in which I was raised, you know, I was raised um Islamic uh in a particular set, right? In the nation. And I think that uh, you know, over time as I've grown older, I'm like, ah there's certain principles that I was like, nah, I don't like, you know what I'm saying? I don't like that. I don't like this, I don't like, and I'm just gonna go ahead and do this, I'm gonna get a direct connect. You know what I'm saying? I'm a chirp.
SPEAKER_09Yeah, so I mean, with those, is this is things that I feel you. So those things that you didn't necessarily like, and I don't want to get into detail about it, but those things that you didn't like, was it because it went against what you thought a relationship with God is? Like what you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_08Like, yeah, I think as you grow older, for me, it's it's the I don't I don't necessarily I didn't necessarily enjoy the organization. Okay, I don't like the control, like, okay, this is what we do, this is what I do, this is what so you know my wife is Christian, um, well, she was raised Christian, um, and you know, when we was young, I like I go to church, yeah. You know what I mean? I've been to church all the time, mosque everywhere, right? And so I went to church one day, and they were having communion, yeah. And you know, folks is in there eating Jesus, and like, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_09Yeah, that's wild. Yeah, I understand. It's you know, I know what you're trying to say, but what am I trying to? Go ahead. Is that what they know? I mean, it's it's it's you know, a ritual, but you're not necessarily eating Jesus. What's the wafer for? It's not Jesus.
SPEAKER_08What is the wafer? What does the wafer represent?
SPEAKER_09It's yeah, it's supposed to represent the the the uh what is it supposed to represent? I know the blood is supposed to represent the blood. And the wafer is supposed to represent what? The flesh. Okay.
SPEAKER_08But the flesh of what? The flesh of Jesus. Okay. So they was eating Jesus. And I was like, they was like, you gonna eat? I was like, nah, I don't, I don't wanna eat, and and I was like, I wanna eat Jesus, but I'm young too. I was like, I don't want to eat Jesus, and they was dying laughing. Yeah, and I was like, that's what's going on. But I didn't necessarily feel like that was my like if I don't believe in that like fully, then that's not something that I should be partaking in because that's not my belief. But I think that um uh so that part of like organization and so many different religions and c like I just I couldn't get with it. I feel you tithing. I mean, I would I would donate. Okay. But not obligated. Yeah, I'm because my my thing is like I gotta know. You gotta know what what's going on.
SPEAKER_09Where this where this bread going. You don't feel that way about your taxes. Who don't? I mean, you you don't get an answer about it. Yeah, I go to jail. No, I'm talking about you don't get an answer about like where your money's going. I know, and I'm mad. Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_08I was just brought it up. Nah, you was trying to do something with it. I mean, you know. And you just you did you aborted, yeah? Yeah, yeah, aborted. Like, who wants to like I can't stand paying taxes?
SPEAKER_09I can't stand, I believe reparations, it's my reparations belief, is that we don't pay taxes.
SPEAKER_08We don't, black people, I got two pieces of reparations. One black people should not pay taxes for double the amount of years that we were enslaved in this country, and we should have free education to any higher uh of um institution of learning or in or trade school for double the amount of years that we've been enslaved in this country. That is what I believe preparation should be.
SPEAKER_09So 800 years?
SPEAKER_08800 years. The reason why it has to be double is that uh this uh this country was raised off and built off the institution and labor of the enslaved. There are every um uh uh industry um for those amounts of years will was built around the institution of slavery. Uh so they were able to get double bread and profit by by using free labor. And so for us, I think doubling the amount of time would be um would be substantially.
SPEAKER_09I think that's a great I think that's a great idea, actually.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, that's what I think.
SPEAKER_09Yeah, I think that's dope. I think that you should like run for office and try to implement it.
SPEAKER_08That's my belief, yeah.
SPEAKER_09I think it's dope though. No, for real. No, but without the joke, and I think it's that's a dope idea. I appreciate you, yeah.
SPEAKER_08That is that I've been preaching that for a minute now, and that's what I think, yeah.
SPEAKER_09I feel like you should really like kick it to someone who can possibly make moves on it. Okay, I'm serious. Like, I really think that's dope.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, I look, I'm gonna send you something.
SPEAKER_09Because you saw that it is now labeled the most heinous um uh crime on humanity. Yeah, so if that's the case now, except but you know who didn't agree, yeah. Of course. Uh Argentina, United States, and Israel. Yeah, but I mean, we knew.
SPEAKER_08I didn't know Argentina. You watched that video I sent you? The whole 20 minutes?
SPEAKER_09The whole 20 minutes of what?
SPEAKER_08Oh, that video I sent you about that. Yes.
SPEAKER_09Yes. Yes. Uh I think I did. Okay. Cool. Why are you saying it like that? No, I was just lying, because we was talking about it. Yeah, yeah. United States. Uh of course. Who who who's going to, you know, that if if they admit to it, then they're they they're gonna feel like they're obligated to do something about it.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, yeah, and the US is young, is crazy, it is just in you know, I just I support everyone leaving this country to see other people like uh how other countries move. Yeah because this joint is young. White supremacy is going running rampant. Crazy. Rampant crazy it is insane what yeah, man. What is happening? Yeah, yeah. It is it we we in a different, we're in a different uh yeah, it's just crazy. I it's so many things that I want to say that I can't even say it because it's just so much happening, but yeah, um yeah, but that's my thought. Yeah, that's my thought. Yeah, the plea, yeah. This is game me. I just sent you something, right? That I want you to look at. I wanted to get your raw response from this, yeah. I think it's fun. Well, I don't know what it is. Yeah, what would you let what would you on?
SPEAKER_09That was a video that would do made with marble sauce.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, yeah, take a look at that. Yeah, I think it's fun.
SPEAKER_09Two things. One is have you have you ever lived in a space, in a space where there was like so you become desensitized to some of it.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_09I mean, I I have well he's desensitized, clearly.
SPEAKER_08Clearly desensitized. The cat was not though. Uh I didn't see the cat.
SPEAKER_05The cat was not the first shot the catalog.
SPEAKER_08The cat was not desensitized.
SPEAKER_09So the one is that. The second thing is when you try and get your girl back, dog. Ain't nothing matters. And nothing matters. Nothing matters. If they was shooting right beside you, you'd be like, dog, look, baby, look. I just want you back.
SPEAKER_08Bamma, Bamma dead right next door. Me like young. I'm focused right here. Yeah, he had to see it. He had to get her back, but he got inside.
SPEAKER_09Yeah, heartbreak is the worst, yo. Dog. Heartbreak is the worst, yo. Especially for men, young.
SPEAKER_08Young heartbreak, young.
SPEAKER_09Hey, young, heartbreak. And it's and it's so hard to explain.
SPEAKER_08As a man, y'all. Yeah, it's so hard to explain. Have you ever heard a man say my heart is broken?
SPEAKER_09Just the way you said it right now. Sounds like like like young because that's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_08We can't, we young. We can't even say it. Young, what do you do when your heart broke, yo?
SPEAKER_09Nothing. Like, you can't. I feel like you you paralyzed. You know what I'm saying? You can't sleep.
SPEAKER_08You just didn't eat what the house. You bet. Y'all heartbreak crazy.
SPEAKER_09Yeah, heartbreak is is crucial.
SPEAKER_08It shuts you down. And you can't eat, you can't think, you can't, and you just sad.
SPEAKER_09Yeah, I wish someone can explain the feeling. Like, how does your body do that? You know just all systems.
SPEAKER_05All systems shut down. We just need to focus on keeping this man alive.
SPEAKER_08Yeah. We can't do nothing else. Young heartbreak is crazy. And it'll make you do some wild things.
SPEAKER_09Yes. Some things that are irrational that you would never do if your heart wasn't broken.
SPEAKER_08Heartbreak is crazy. Yeah, y'all. Heartbreak and being in love. And like the first stages of finding love or being like super attracted to someone.
SPEAKER_09And all giddy and on the phone. Stupid. Is it? Just be dumb.
SPEAKER_08Just not smart. Cause you all endorphin duck. Lunching. Yeah. Lunching. Yeah. Young, that is crazy too, young. It's gonna be the intricate topic. On the other side. Now you turned up. Like, oh, they the best person in the world. I love them so much. Oh, whoopdy whoopty. I'ma talk to them to two, three in the morning.
SPEAKER_09Uh uh uh they're gonna fall asleep on the phone.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, young.
SPEAKER_09Wake up and get and then start talking again. Crazy.
SPEAKER_08Be around each other all the time. Yeah. I couldn't imagine going through that. Yeah. Now. Yeah. Yeah. Now you think you think that now. Well, here we go again. Hypothetical. Hypothetical. Hypothetical.
SPEAKER_09Why pathetical? This would be we're gonna start calling. This is a wife of hypothetical, yeah.
SPEAKER_08Okay. Do you think that you would you you would if you met someone that you would have that same giddy feeling at your ripe age?
SPEAKER_09I didn't I probably did not mean that. Yes, you did. I swear to God I didn't. Why did you just say say age? You didn't have to say ripe. Because I'm trying to build context. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Um, yeah.
SPEAKER_08You think you would?
SPEAKER_09I think that I think I think that it's it's in you. I don't think that it's something that you know you outgrow. Just like I don't think that heartbreak is something that you outgrow.
SPEAKER_08Heartbreak is definitely not something you outgrowth in.
SPEAKER_09Yeah, so if you can't outgrow heartbreak, then you can't out you can't outgrow falling in love. Yeah, I mean, you may the the things that you do may be different. Yeah, you know what I'm saying, instead of standing on the phone all the time. Like you got your own place, she got her own place, but you've been standing over her house the whole week. You know what I'm saying? Like that. Or any kind of thing.
SPEAKER_08But I don't feel like that's lunching, though. Why wouldn't it be that's what I'm saying? I'm talking about like when you hop broken.
SPEAKER_09That's adult, that's adult stand on the phone all night.
SPEAKER_08Okay, but that's not lunching.
SPEAKER_09No, I'm talking about when you first all right. So what are the things that you lunch out about when you fall in love? Give me, give me some things. Cause you said like you stand on the phone or like you just what you do when you fall in. You stay up the two, three o'clock in the morning.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, stay up two, three o'clock in the morning. You might drive somewhere at a time when you shouldn't be driving there. You might I'm trying to go back to when I'm you young. Yeah, yeah, that's what we were talking about. You when you're giddy, you oh, you'll sweat, you get nervous, you'll have like nervous energy, yeah. Uh super nervous energy. Um when you falling in love, when you really like somebody, you uh you're scared.
SPEAKER_09Yeah.
SPEAKER_08I don't know if I would be all those things though.
SPEAKER_09I think that I would be scared. I don't know. I don't know. It depends on the one that you find. I I really feel like it. I feel like, and then what's crazy is that I think that some men don't get married or don't fall in love because they are scared. Damn. Yeah, because it does scare them. Like the to be that vulnerable and then be that open. Just imagine what you and your relationship, your wife is now. You know how how vulnerable you had to be, how open you had to be. You know what I'm saying? It like she had to be an extreme person for you to even give her that. So, yeah, I definitely think it comes with the level of fear. I think it comes with uh uh a level of irrational behavior that you wouldn't do if you, you know, wasn't in love with them. Like if you out this joint, and this is just somebody, for instance, if you out here at this ripe age and you dating, and you you find, you know, somebody who you attracted to, but their mentality ain't, you know, you really ain't feeling them full like that. Like, dog, you know, yeah, you can come over tonight. She called you the next. I'm you know, I'm busy until like Saturday, to like Sunday. I ain't gonna be able to see you until next week.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_09So, you know, that's how regular you would act, but then it's somebody who you really feeling, hey, look, you yeah, you can come over, you can stay over here the whole week.
SPEAKER_08Higgle my keys, pickle my keys. Luncheon. Luncheon. That's the adult version of luncheon. That's what I'm talking about right there. You can have my keys. Or you can even know where I live. Woo! That's that's a that's an adult version of luncheon. Or even this, even this.
SPEAKER_09I gotta go to work. Hell my car. No, or you can stay here and lock up when I leave.
SPEAKER_08Oh, that's lunching. Or a girl, yeah, that's lunching. That's extra luncheon. Or like if you get take my car, yeah, luncheon. You know, when I first met, you know what I'm saying? My wife, and I was like, you know, we was young, I was high school. She had a car, I didn't. We was broke. Yeah. I ain't had no car.
SPEAKER_09Well, you was broke. She had a car. We was broke, but she had a car, you were broke. But wait, finish.
SPEAKER_08I definitely was broke. I'm not, I just take it away from me being broke. Okay. But she did have a car.
SPEAKER_09Okay.
SPEAKER_08And uh, you know, she would drive. But I was huge on, like, we both worked at JC Penny in Forsville Mall. Yeah. And like she would, you know, get off and we get off, but I lived in Park Berkshire, so I would have to walk down Pennsylvania Avenue to go home. Yeah. And and I was like, nah, I don't need no ride. Like, don't drive I'm good. I'll I'll walk home like I normally do because I'm not dependent on you. I don't want to have to feel like I'm dependent on you for anything. Yeah. And so men sometimes who be asking about a girl cause, you want to talk about a little bit of manhood that I be bothered with a little bit? What was that? Now it's not the it's not when you are married, when you got a real relationship. I think that support is support, that's fine. But timers, men who meet a girl and using them and actually use their cars and stay over their house and ain't put like dog, I have a massive problem with that. And they could be, and it could be, I'm gonna be honest with you, it can be chill. It could be really the brother really needs some help. Really down on his luck, really love the girl or like the girl, and like nope. Nope, what? What are you saying? My thing is I think that you gotta step your man game up. What does that mean? It means that I don't think you should be dating. Okay. I don't think it you should be dating if you can't provide for yourself.
SPEAKER_09If you can't provide for yourself, then you shouldn't be dating. Yes. Okay. I think that that's fair. Yeah. I would say that that's fair. If you can't provide for yourself, then you shouldn't be dated.
SPEAKER_08And I and I definitely think you shouldn't be using women to provide for yourself.
SPEAKER_09Okay.
SPEAKER_08Um I'm not saying you can be in a relationship though, in a long-term relationship, and you can fall on bad time. Okay. Right? Okay. Because that's part of being waited, wait a minute. It's part of it. And that's what meeting. Now I can use each other to get, you know what I'm saying? I can use your car, I can use this, I can do that. Like we've established a relationship, but from the initial onset, I'm staying at your house. Nah, dog. Initial onset, I'm borrowing your car, I'm taking you to work, and I'm taking your car. Nah, dog. I'm sick if I had a daughter and it's a dude like that in her life.
SPEAKER_09I would I I feel you. I feel you. I I totally get it. I understand. I understand. I I have no arguments with with what you're saying. But it's not even a but, and. I remember I had this conversation, like, I can't remember what I may have had a conversation with you. That a woman, because right now women are like at the most educated. They are, you know, starting business at a phenomenal rate, and successful businesses at that uh financially, I I feel like they're making more money, you know, than than than men. Is could that be true?
SPEAKER_08I don't know that fact, but they are they're positioning themselves too. Yeah, they're earning more money. Yeah, earning more. Because men are they're not quote unquote the ownership of men anymore. So yeah, that should happen.
SPEAKER_09You said they're not the ownership of men anymore.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, because women didn't have like couldn't own anything.
SPEAKER_09Oh, oh, oh, oh, okay. I get what you're saying. Ownership is not just for men anymore.
SPEAKER_08No, I was saying that women were the property of men.
SPEAKER_09Oh, okay, okay. All right. So a woman could never marry a man who works well I mean not this is hypothetical. Or not even hypothetical. This is just a conversation piece. A man could marry a woman who works at McDonald's, but a woman could never marry a man that works at McDonald's.
SPEAKER_08What are you saying? Is that a question? Yeah, I'm asking, do you think that a woman who is making uh just work at McDonald's? I don't wanna uh yeah.
SPEAKER_09Well, but because I mean if we're talking about your just your your your argument that you just had, like I mean McDonald's is I think a symbol of something else. You know what I'm saying? It's a symbol of uh a trash man. It's a symbol of and trash men make really good money, but people don't really know that. I think people just look at trash man as, you know, somebody who worked for McDonald's. You know what I'm saying? Now I don't really think that they really know how much a trash man work makes. Or just a lot of like customer service type jobs. People think that they're on the lower level. And I think that women who make a lot of money wouldn't. like marry a man like that.
SPEAKER_06Yeah they would I think so.
SPEAKER_09What what what what what makes you think that?
SPEAKER_08I have I I I think that I think that there's a conversation piece that is socially accepted that's been that's like kind of portrayed in in the media around like what women want and what women don't want or what men want and what I think that at the foundation we want compatibility. Like you need somebody compatible with you. And I think that m most women will date a man uh who not necessarily with in their tax bracket um but provide uh you know because I think a relationship is so many different things but I know plenty of women who be like they don't need to make an enormous amount of money they could just be as long as they uh bear for me and providing for me when you say you know a lot of women like y'all had this conversation or you just thinking that you know that because of because of these character because of the characters of these women that that's what they would say.
SPEAKER_09Both so you've had conversation with women about this.
SPEAKER_08Yeah plenty of women plenty of women yeah I just sometimes I think you be wild young why am I lying I don't know I don't know why to make your point I don't know yeah well one I'm not lying and I don't gonna reason a lot but two I that's what I truly believe like you would date a woman you would date a woman if you were compatible with her and she don't necessarily make the same amount of money as you I think any man would do that. That's my point is that I think that men would uh would would would date someone who even worked at McDonald's if they would just say make a different amount of money than you no I want to even say McDonald's for that because I do think that men would date like even someone that works at McDonald's no I'm just saying you keep talking about working let's just say makes a you're in a different taxi oh you don't want me to talk about people okay yeah because it's I apologize I apologize I got you I got you I apologize because yeah I I I understand what he's saying so my apologies so the c I I think the conversation is like it's really about compatibility more so I think it's a more so about compatibility and drive to want more or to want or to go chase whatever dream that you want or whatever it might be for me. I think that's for everybody not just for men versus women you know what I'm saying okay that's my thought about it. Alright so look y'all so that you know you don't have a very good sense of humor when it comes to I don't agree with you but go ahead I don't well I think that it's clear that you don't have a very good sense of humor when it comes to memes yeah I don't agree with you I think that we have a difference of opinion or a difference of sense of humor. So what I'm gonna do is this segment is going to be called trying to make black laugh okay all right so that is my goal right now is to try to make you laugh so I'm about to send you a meme all right and then you look at it and you know you can give me your you know instant feedback and let me tell you and we'll put the meme up so everybody else can see it.
SPEAKER_09Alright this is the first one that's funny that that's funny that's funny this is the most hardest thing in the world I hate it can't come out yes yes it did and they like crabs in a burrow but you pull one out you go pull 75 about then you guys then you gotta bunch it back into the yeah yeah that was funny our family and they don't want to come out y'all that's relatable that's what I feel like will be happening when I be sending memes young is that you don't be wanting to actually laugh at it.
SPEAKER_08No no good that's funny that's that's a good one that was a that's a good one I think I got some second one yeah you one for one yeah one for one I feel like you're gonna dud this one I feel like you're gonna dud this one it wasn't funny until Jesus said sub back it wasn't funny until Jesus said that was a joke that was the whole joke all right all right why you fighting the laugh because it's you yeah why you fighting the laugh yeah I laughed yeah that was you fighting it young that was funny that's what I'm saying and you doing it again y'all that was funny when Jesus said sub back that was funny hold on yeah uh you two for you you two for two I'm two for two yeah I'm a beast that one was you you barely got that last one but you got it I just sent you one I'm so blown about that all right let me look you gotta turn it up now yeah I don't care if you don't laugh yeah that's funny yeah that's it that's it do do your do your wife got uh a a small pinky toe do your wife have a small pinky toe anybody that has a small anybody that has a wife that has a really small pinky toe dale that is hilarious to them hey that was probably some of the most unfunny thing I've ever seen on the internet was funny why would you why would you even think that that's funny it is funny yeah it is funny you just don't understand you know you lucky I can't find this last joint yeah it's all good yeah I can't find it yeah but I did want to show you this joint around I I really want to know your perspective on this yeah okay um and it's gonna be difficult I feel like the the the the conversation about it um well I'm I'm not even gonna front load it young I'm just gonna tell me what you think I'll send it to you and you can watch it and then tell me what what your thoughts is about it hold on here you go young this is probably the most difficult thing ever young is looking through and finding these drinks once I have them.
SPEAKER_09You're supposed to like put them in a folder you don't know how to put them in a folder you're not technically savvy like that to be able to put them in a set folder?
SPEAKER_08Don't do that to the people you know I'm just sad don't put my business out there like that. Just go ahead watch this video young and tell me what you think about it.
SPEAKER_04Alright here we go it's not supposed to be funny right no no no it's a it's a conversation have you heard about this new controversial character on a show called Hey AJ on Disney Jr.
SPEAKER_01For some reason Disney decided to say okay to a superhero on Disney Jr.
SPEAKER_03named Captain Durak who is dorag in the case in the middle of February Well it was created by former NFL player author creative Martellus Bennett He's a black man that might be worse Bennett posted something on his social media in defense of Captain Dorag and the liberation of the black image here's part of it.
SPEAKER_04As a young black boy my dorag was my first superhero cape I didn't need Batman's cape or darkwing duck's cape or Superman's I had a do rag and when I tied it up and that tail started flapping behind me as I ran through the house nobody could stop me. That was my armor my power source my transformation sequence that was my black imagination doing what imagination is supposed to do making me bigger than the world tried to make me he also wrote this Captain Dorag is about empowering the ordinary objects in black life like a dorag. Why can't a do-rag be a cape? Why can't a black superhero wear a dorag? Why can't an imaginative black girl on Disney have a superhero who looks like her father a father who wears a dorag around the house what is so bad about a whole family rocking a dorag what is so wrong with letting the do rag be the source of a superpower when it has been the source of confidence and transformation for generations it's actually a cool concept in my view that's why I'm Captain Doorag.
SPEAKER_02Not Captain Dorag.
SPEAKER_04So when it comes to Captain Dorag, what do you think?
SPEAKER_09So I'll tell you what my issue is well I don't really know if I have an issue right now but when I saw him fighting the trash is the trash can or whatever it was was the main thing that like kind of got me a little un uneasy however I think I have this conversation with you often like it's certain things that are in our culture that if we celebrate them or if we talk about them or whatever that it is looked at as if we're saying something negative about our culture and I don't I don't get that I don't understand why we can't like hang our hats on these things as well these things that we've created these things that we still do these things that you know some of us do in the secrecy of our home you know you'll you'll put a do rag on to have waves and all of that type of stuff and then you'll get up in the morning and put on your suit and all of that and go to this corporate job. But then when you come back home or when you go to your community your your old hood or you go to the family cookout you know you feel comfortable with wearing your do rag. So I don't like I just don't get it sometimes. I don't like what are we what are we trying to do? Like are we trying to hide these things uh are we acting like this is not a part of culture you know what I'm saying like I don't get it even when I talk to you sometimes I'll be frustrated about certain things like fried chicken we had a discussion about fried chicken conversation about the do-right but I just I'm saying it I yeah I think we do that all the time man I think that we try to so you're fine with it I I I think I need to see the episodes before I just as a as a concept Captain Duray as a concept would you green light it is uncomfortable initially I'll be honest because I feel like I too fall into that trying to hide certain things within our culture but then if I really think about it it's like why am I doing that why do I feel that way so now as a critical thinker I'm like huh it might be something let me see what he is fighting what what kind of crimes are he is he fighting what you know I'm saying I need to know that so that's why I said the thing that that that that really got me in that clip was a trash can was spitting like garbage at him and he was dodging that. Yeah I I need to know what that's about do rag yeah but yeah well I I feel what do you feel?
SPEAKER_08I'm a hundred percent with Captain Do-Rag oh that's surprising I don't know why it's so surprising to you I think that uh that's surprising I think Captain Durag is a representation of what we see right like we see folks in our hood and our communities and it's not necessarily to me it's not a negative thing it's it's just a uh as an example of culture um and I'm like dog what else could what else kind of cape could you use? Captain Durag when I seen it before anybody starts before that when I seen that video for the first time and I saw Captain Doorag I'm like yeah yo Captain Dorag that psyched me because it's a representation it's making the the things that our young people see daily a superhero um or having this idea of superpowers and I would much rather them look at Captain Durag than a white Superman okay right because what is Superman he just has a cape um and he has what supposed to be attraction or something when he's attraction what what is Superman known for he just has all superpowers like outside of when he's the regular person. Oh no when he's a regular person he's really nobody's Carklin he's nobody he's he's he look gets overlooked he's yeah but you know me oftentimes the superheroes just like geniuses right like we we attach them to whiteness yeah um and why can't we attach it to blackness why can't our superhero wear a do-rag and I think for a kid in their in their perception of of a superhero if they are able to see an image of uh somebody who looks like their dad on television being a superhero wearing a do-rag and then they go look at their dad and he has on a do-rag and they can attach these superpowers to some degree right it's not like you know one for one but you see superhero and you see superhero in your dad or your uncle or your brother and it's not necessarily seen that seen as a thing that is negative in a hood or something that you can celebrate.
SPEAKER_09So what if they had uh uh what if they had a female version of Captain Doorag and she had a bonnet on would you feel the same way?
SPEAKER_08Uh depend on what she's doing. I think the same thing with the episode like uh depending But you ain't say that about Captain Do Rag. Well I I agree with you I agree with you around when you was like I wonder what the episode says it depends on how you are able to switch it. So um I that's a good question um I think it took some time to think about it um like my mom like if there's an adult she's an adult and my mom used to wear the little super joan on the head the bonnet you know I'm saying and that joint gave her superpowers like when she had the little curls the little what's her name in there um black people would go crazy would go crazy about it they would go crazy they probably would they would I'm gonna tell you why though because I think that it's bonnets as seen has been had this conversation is being seen as negative or being seen as um yeah it's been seen negative in nature and black people have always had a problem with with like the the the various representations of blackness because we have also have been raised around white folk and so a lot of times we can understand it. So the thing about our community is we understand what's happening in our community and are able to manage what's happening on a one-on-one but people black people start to feel shame I mean uh well I'll say this we I think we feel shame and when we are in comparison to whiteness and so we're always thinking about like oh how are we being seen how are we being looked at how are people viewing us but we gotta get to the point where like dog this is us. And a lot of times we worry about that out of our ability to be able to gain access to power. So it's not like it's just coming out of nowhere. So it's not like it's our fault but you know we had to show or be a certain way in order to get jobs in order to get loans in order to get advancements and so some of those things kind of trickle but we I we got family members bruh who you know do rags bonnets like you know what I'm saying but those are the folks and we know what they got in their brain we know what their power is but we are concerned about image yeah because image was our way to navigate this society but we gotta get to a point where it's like dog we are who we are I agree I totally agree. That's why I rock with Captain Durack.
SPEAKER_09I think we hung up on so many things that as it reflects as as as it uh around image.
SPEAKER_08But that can be tough though you know I'm saying because you need to be able to move through this country that a place where that that's oppressing you. Right? And so uh W EB Du Bois So's the Black Folk very good book but he talks about like this double consciousness around like being black in this country like this idea of like we don't we we have a duality we're trying to do and be so many things at the same time bro that's tough. I could agree yeah that's tough tough way to go yeah um I I found the meme though can we just go back real quick I found it go back two for two so we gotta figure out if you if you uh this is a tiebreaker tiebreaker yeah all right you already sent it yeah it looks crazy already you try it look at his face yeah come on this is a chuckle all right I win I win you lose like a point five five we'll we'll we'll we'll see what the people think we'll see what the people think but my memes is my memes is like that yeah so we'll be August yeah yeah last time yo I ain't really appreciate this one so let's see what we do this time all right a woman musters up the courage to ask her crush on a date he accepts when the check comes he gives it to her because she's offended who is wrong she wrong she all the way wrong if you want to ask somebody out on a date I don't care if you the man or the woman you should be the one that as that that should be paying or at least offering to pay if I was asked out on a date wife ahetically if I was asked out on a date if I was asked out on a date and you know I would expect her to offer to pay but I would end up paying but yeah if you ask me out on a date then you supposed to pay because basically you you asking me hey can you take me out if if you want me to pay you should just come and say hey can you take me out not hey can I take you out to get something to eat yeah I feel like the person who initiates it is the person who pays okay she got the right to be offended if the dude is you know there's an assumption I've I and I think this is true for you too you have you ever been out with a woman for the first time and not had any money in your pocket or expected not to pay? I already know the answer. Have you ever been out with a woman for the first time or on the first few let's say the first four dates whether or not she asked you or you asked her and didn't have any money in your pocket?
SPEAKER_09No.
SPEAKER_08Yeah and so she has a right to be offended because any man in their right mind if she asks you or or if now she could pay right like that's okay but what I am saying is like she should be offended if a man is out with her. And this is the this might be the patriarchal with me is and I'm okay with that.
SPEAKER_09It definitely is yeah I'm and that so that's what I'm saying like we got it in this it's Emmy um and I you know it's part of it I'm trying but yeah she got the right to be offended so that's my thought you know normally like these are these are these are you know you you you're fighting arguments that you're just fighting the the side of the argument that you choose and sometimes you but I really feel like you believe this one. Because I'm real good at arguing Yeah that was good. All right let's move on yeah that was good I like that I like that because you know I that was tight I don't believe anything I said. I hope this is not the long version because the last one I got.
SPEAKER_08There you go. Yeah, no, no, just read it. Just read it.
SPEAKER_09Okay, women are born with value. Men have to create it. Agree or disagree.
SPEAKER_08Women are born with value. Men have to create it. Men have to create it. Disagree. We're both born with value. Like I think that there's an idealistic, and then there's an idealistic or belief, and then there's a societal expectation. I am answering it from the No, just answer the question. Well, I'm I'm I am answering the question. I think that we are born with the same amount of value. Um, I think that we're both we're born with, you know, God's energy, and that value is equal.
SPEAKER_09So yeah. Yeah, I I I definitely disagree. Um, because I think that you are even raised differently as a man and a woman. You know, men are, of course, brush it off, walk it off, all of that type of stuff. Women are uh, hey, come on here, sweetheart, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. What does that gotta do with value? I'm telling you, I'm just talking about so, so the way that you treat it, the way you treat something actually shows the value that you have in the sun. And I think that women have a certain level of value um from birth, like a certain level of protection at birth, you know, and not to say that men or peep people don't protect their sons, it's just that a son, the value on the son, I think is different. Put it that way. But when it comes to um as you get older, yes, a man has to create value. A woman, she can she'll she'll always be valuable because she's a woman, because she can procreate, because you know, the assumption that she can make a house a home, the assumption that she's soft, loving, all of these different things that are just projected onto her because she's a woman. Whereas a man, in order for you to have some value in this patriarchy society, is for you to go out here and make something of yourself, for you to be value to community or value to the world, for you to be able to provide, for you to be able to make. I mean, in the last uh what's your name that we just said, you know, you was talking about you don't go nowhere uh the first four dates without having money in your pocket. Like that person has to show up as value, even in that particular situation. So yeah, I agree that men has to create value. Women are automatically given value in this in this world. Okay, and so I want that one.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, I'm just choosing not to argue back with you.
SPEAKER_09That's cool. I mean, you can. We were done. Like you said your piece, I said my piece, and then we don't go back, you know, with the argument.
SPEAKER_08Okay.
SPEAKER_09Yeah.
SPEAKER_08Hey man. No, I ain't got nothing else for you, man. You don't got nothing else. You don't got nothing. Nothing else for you, man.
SPEAKER_09Nothing else for me. I remember one time, young. I ain't gonna bring it up because you because you know I'm saying I'm gonna wait till episode, but you said you was gonna talk about something. You called me and was like, yeah, young, I think I'm ready to talk about it.
SPEAKER_08Um yeah, that's I totally forgot.
SPEAKER_09You totally forgot we can talk about it? Yeah. You wanna wait? You wanna wait till another episode? I think it'll be it'll be more in depth. You'll be more live, right? Because right now you you you you don't like. Play the music. Play the music.
