My name's Emma. I'm Meredith. And this is the season. Okay, last time I was editing the video, and last time we did create Harmony, and it actually sounded kind of bomb. Okay. Like it actually sounded pretty good. Wait, should we try it again? I thought I thought we did create today. We did a little bit. It wasn't as good as that last time. No, last time it really locked in. It was like super good. This time I'll have to go back and listen and see how it sounds. Oh my goodness. You're doing great. I know, but welcome everyone. Um it's been an interesting weekend, to say the least. Um, it is currently Monday, and hopefully you don't hear the thunder outside. It's storming, my favorite weather. But um, it's it's a little loud, but again, I always forget that I can get rid of the background noise. Just keep the thunder in for like the theatric. Exactly. The whole night. It'll be like it'll be like the storm that's brewing in an episode, you know? Which is also the finale. Exactly. We I didn't realize the finale, I didn't realize it to the last five minutes. I said, oh Yeah, I thought I thought we had two episodes left. I truly thought we did two, but it's okay, but yesterday was a trip, and I've never felt so crazy in my life. So I went to go get my oil changed, and you know, it's just supposed you're just supposed to drive up, you wait. It's supposed to be really easy. It's supposed to be really easy, yes? And I do this all the time. I get my oil changed, you know, regularly, every 3,000 miles, like I'm supposed to. I'm a good little noodle about my car. And um so I went, I went to this uh, I'm gonna put it on blast, Valvelline, and I have never had such a bad experience. So I pull up, I can already tell it's chaotic, okay? And I thought this would be a good location. The chaos is. It was not, okay. Um, but it was close to where I was at the time. So I was like, oh why not? You know, I'm gonna stay in the area anyway, so I'm I'm just gonna do this, it'll take 20 minutes, whatever. And there's no line. So I was like, sure, whatever. So I I pull in, and they're like, you know, they take my VIN number, and the guy who scans it looks at the screen and he's like, uh, do you know this person on the screen? I was like, uh, yeah, that's the name on the account. They're like, yes. I was like, that is my parent. Like, I unfortunately am broke, so I had to have a co-signer. So his name is also on the account, but yes, this is my car. I didn't steal it. And he was like, Okay, do you just want to get the same oil as last time? Mind you, I've been putting this oil in my car the entire time I've had it, and they've even put the same oil in at the disp uh, not the I almost said the dispensary. What the fuck? I I had the same oil put in at the actual dealership. So there's been no problems. And if the people at the dealership are saying, I can put this in my car, then I feel like you can put it in the car. Then I feel like I can put it in my damn car. Yeah. Okay. Other if I was at the dealership, they would have told me because of your makeup model, because they have all the information, they would have said you need to use one of these two. Right. They didn't say that to me. They said, Oh yeah, you can put that in your car. So I'm sitting there, I've never had issues with this, and they start putting the oil in my car after they take the other stuff out, and the manager comes out and is speaking to some lady because she decides to pull out a fucking cigarette and start smoking around all this oil, babes. I don't know what idea passed through your mind that said, Oh yeah, this is a great idea. But then he looks at my car and he said, Uh, you guys put the wrong oil in here. The cap says this. And I was like, bro, what is going on? So then he comes around to my window, okay, and he's holding, he's holding the plug to the top of the oil thing, and uh he's like, So you do realize that you're supposed to be putting full synthetic oil in your car, right? And I'm sitting there and I'm just like, what? Because again, I know what oil works in my car, like I'm not a dumbass. Like, I get that's the man's bleaming. That's what I'm saying. And I'm like, I get my oil changed all the time. This has never been an issue. This isn't like your first time there. No, and I've always gone by myself to get my oil changed in every car I've had. Like I I I like I know how to do it. Yeah, like I know what I'm doing. And I was just like, okay. And he was like, So, for right now, you know, this oil will work, but next time you need to get this other stuff. And I was like, Okay, whatever. So then, like, five minutes passed, I'm like, Alright, you can turn your car on, test it out. So I turned my car on. They start, they're like, No, stop, stop, stop, turn it off. I'm like, damn, what the hell y'all doing? So then I hear the oil leaking out. I'm like, ooh, y'all didn't put the cat back on right or something. So then the guy comes back around to me again and he's like, So the oil's leaking out uh because the pressure's wrong, because you used the wrong oil. And I'm staring at him, I'm like, so your workers are just dumbasses because they didn't put the cap back on correctly. Right. Like, this has never been an issue before. This is never it the oil I'm I'm sorry, but it is uh it is worker error. It is not because of the oil I chose. I'm telling you, this oil works in my car. Okay? I've had this car for a long time, it's always worked, nothing has changed. So it was just ridiculous. And I was in there for like 40 minutes, and then they knew they fucked up, so they gave me a whole discount for next time I go. I'm like, you know what? I'm not I'm not going to this place ever again because literally y'all y'all messed up so bad. But, anyways, that was my day yesterday. Um, and then I went to Goodwill afterwards, and everyone in the store was beefing with each other. So it was just a really chaotic day. Yeah. And Emma had work yesterday, and her day was also kind of chaotic. It's always chaos there. I'm just I'm getting used to it. Like every day feels a little bit more calmer because the day before was more chaotic than the day before following. It's like you show up and you're not even surprised anymore. Right. You just expect it, you're just like, alright. You're like, it could be 80% chaos, and then and I'd be like, oh my gosh, this is crazy. And then the next day is 90% chaos, and that 80% chaos literally meant nothing. Yeah. And I just walk in now as like that's normal. Like when you come home from work and you tell me stuff that happened, I'm just like, bro, are you okay? And you're like, Yeah, you know, that's fine. I'm chilling. Yeah. But um, anyways, our last episode is also up. Um, we keep forgetting the post on the Instagram. So I need to- We'll get there, we'll get there one day. I'll I'll post one day. I'll put the post up. We're still figuring out our schedules because now I I don't have the other job I had, and uh, we're just trying to adjust. So thanks for being patient with us. Um, we also need to start advertising. But this is the last episode of season one, episode six of Young Royals. Which is so crazy. Like we were saying previously. I really thought there was two more episodes. Yeah. But um this is the last one of season one, and this is the storm is uh the storm is brewing. Oh yeah. We start off with the mom showing up to the school, yes, and there's like um textings happening as like she's pulling up, and it's swipping, it's like switching between Simone and Villam, and like their reactions to all this news coming in to the video being leaked, and it is just so chaotic, and you can see them both freaking out in different ways. Yes, and they handle it differently than one another. Um but I I can't even imagine how overwhelming that would feel if something like that happened. Yeah, on both parties. Like exactly, like it's overwhelming just to watch it, but to like try and put myself in those shoes, I can't even imagine how overwhelmed I would feel. Like, I think I would just delete all my social media and be like, alright. Yeah, it it just seems like a lot. I don't it it is so much, it is so much. I don't think I'd be able to handle it. No, truly, me either, honestly. But she she pulls up, the mom does, and the headmistress or headmaster. She's like, I'm so sorry this happened at our school, even though it's not even her fault. Right. And the mom was just like, I wrote down my mom's so cunty. I wrote what she actually said, you won't utter a word until we say so. I was like, oh my god. I was always like, damn, she's cunty as hell. Like she's like, you will not be saying anything, nothing will be said at all. I'm like, I understand you're upset, but it's not her fault. Right. Like she's not the one who took the video and posted it. Right. Like, that's not like she can't control what the students are doing at all hours of the day. No, could you imagine? No, that'd be exhausting. And I feel like they already do that a lot, anyways. Yeah, like they're already around pretty strict, they're already pretty strict to begin with, they have very strict schedules. So no. It was just something that happened out of her control. But like for the mom to be so rude about it, I was like, okay, babes, I understand, but at the same time, you need to relax. Yeah. Like, so I'm like, you already know the wrath that Wilhelm's about to get. No, for real. And then you see Simone at the grocery store, literally just grocery shopping. Yeah. And he's just getting stares. Like everyone is just staring at him constantly. And as he goes to the checkout line, there's already magazines with his face plastered all over it. I'm like, y'all are so quick. The next day. And I I like again, if that was me in his shoes and my face was all over the magazine like that, I'd be like, so this literally just happened. You guys already printed this. Mm-hmm. Which I feel like it gives Simone a good first look at how crazy his life Wilhelm's life actually is. Yes. Because I feel like up until this point, he's like, well, you're just royalty. Like, get out of it. Just don't do it. Don't whatever. Right. Like he doesn't understand. I feel like he knows the stakes or knows how crazy all of it is. I don't think he realizes. Are you serious? The tornado signs are going off right now. No way. Hold on. We gotta we gotta check the weather, bro. Wait, we didn't we didn't get a what we didn't get a notification. Well mine's on mine's on sleep. Yeah, but I don't even have like nothing. You should check the weather, see what's going on, bro. Guys, this is not fucking right right now. Maybe it's fake. It is a fake it's the first month of Monday. It's the Monday it's the first month. Oh, oh. But still, that's storming outside. They shouldn't do that while it's storming outside. It's fucked up, but yeah, it's the first Monday of the month. Okay, well, if we get swept up in the tornado, I guess we'll see y'all later. Because it just says expected rain to stop soon, so. Like it's storming, but it's not bad out. Yeah. Like. Okay, well, if we if Emma g if Emma's phone gets an alert, then we'll we'll go downstairs, I guess. But for right now, we're just gonna stay here and uh hope that it's fine. I hope the sound isn't too loud on the microphone though. Anyways, this is so we'll just keep going, I guess. I'm sorry. Enjoy the chaos. Why why the fuck would you pick a stormy day to test the tornado? They didn't pick a day, Marina. They do them every Monday, the first month of every Monday. But they should postpone it if it's storming, you know what I'm saying? What are they gonna do? Send a mass email to everybody? No, just test it tomorrow. Yeah, but then people will freak out because it's not a Monday. Oh my god. I'm alright, whatever. This is bullshit. But they have to keep consistency. No, this this fits the episode for today anyway. It really does the chaos. Uh truly. But the mom, the mom, it goes to a villain's room, and uh she's just like so So you just need to make a statement, you need to do this, you need to do this and this and this, you have to deny it, you know, this will have consequences. And Willem is just there, and he literally apologizes to his mom. I'm like, you have nothing to apologize for though, right? Then she's just getting down to business. There's no sense of like, let me take care of my son for a second. No, there's no emotional comfort, there's no emotional like connection to her son. She's just like, Alright, well, you gotta do this, this, this, and this. I'm like, what about how your son feels though? Literally, like, no, it doesn't matter. Do you do you not care that he was basically just outed to the entire world doesn't matter without his permission? And and now he's facing all of this basically by himself because you're not giving him emotional support. Um, the person that posted it, which he doesn't know who posted it, but August, you know, he's not really doing anything to help him comfort him, because he probably feels guilty as fuck. And he doesn't have his brother anymore. Exactly. So it he he's just basically by himself. Yeah. So it it it's just a fucking mess, dude. Bro, these sirens are actually killing me. The way he's just looking out. It's okay, Kona. There's there's no tornado, I promise. I'll save you. Anyway, anyway, see, this is how you comfort your son. Right, like this. You tell him it's gonna be okay. Yeah, see? And you and you, you know, you pet him. You pet him. Or I guess in his case, you know, you can still pet. Push his hair back a little bit, it's a big give him a hug. Give him a hug, give some, you know, reaffirming words. Yeah, this is Villem gets none zero. Literally none. And she's like, you know, you you have to say it's not you in the video, and you can't be seen with Small anymore. Like, you can't see him at all. It's like, how dare you? How dare you pull up, be cunted to the headmistress, even though it's not your fucking fault, and then proceed to not care about your son at all, just care about the crown and like that's just crazy. No, legit. Like, also, it is raining so hard. Guys, what if we're there's actually a triad and we're just sitting here recording this. What if I just make that whole thing up about the first of the month? I mean I'm joking though. No, it. Oh my god! Kona! Jesus Christ, I'm sorry guys, everything is fucking happening today. He just licked inside my ear. I I seriously cannot take this for real right now. I'm leaving this in though. Everyone needs to know how chaotic the this is how we felt. This is how this episode felt. So this captures the mood perfectly. Oh my god, I love this so much. But then we switched to Simone's house. Yeah. And his mom is so sweet. She's trying to comfort him, you know, she's hugging him. Like you can see the vast difference between the dynamics between mom and son. And I'm really glad they showed that because it really shows how alone Vilhelm is and how much support support Simone has. You get to see, yeah, the whole the whole thing. Which leads to some of that disconnect between why Smone doesn't understand the stuff that Vilhelm goes through and the fact that the mom right away is just like, yeah, if you want to switch schools, or we can just leave or whatever. Like right now. She's like, if you if you don't think you can go back there, you know, we can transfer back to the other school. We don't have to do this anymore. Like, we we can take you guys out, yeah. And you won't have to be in that environment anymore, blah blah blah. And Sarah overhears this and she's just like gets immediately defensive. She's like, um, I'm not I'm not leaving school because of his actions. Which honestly, rightfully so. And as a sibling, I would probably also be saying the same shit, low-key. Like, it's not their fault that they got caught, but she was referring to like, I'm not, I'm not, you know, doing this, I'm not leaving school because he decided to go talk to dad, because he decided to bring him into this, which led to this situation. No, literally. And I was just like, No! I felt the same exact way with Sarah, what she was talking about in that moment. I felt the same exact way when my parents told me we were moving. I was like, I'm not leaving school and leaving all my friends because of your actions and you wanted to leave and get a new job. Like, that's what I'm saying. That's just how I felt. I was like, um, so no. Like, um, actually, no, guys. So I understand her feelings. Her feelings are valid. Yeah. And she's starting to make friends. Well, and like, she she also like doesn't even get any input. The mom was just like, you know, we'll transfer you guys out. And she's like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Yeah. Not me. I'm not going anywhere. Like, I don't want to leave. This is guys, it's starting to rain really hard. Guys, I'm kind of scared right now. Oh my god. Okay, let's just ignore it. We're gonna find more. Okay. We'll be fine. If we're sucked up, it's okay. Um, but i it's just the the difference between the family dynamics is so easily readable, I guess I should say. And it it really helps you understand why Wilhelm, you know, he he's he doesn't have that emotional support, so like if his mom's just struggling a lot more. Yeah, and he just lost his brother too, and now this happens. So he's already struggling in the first place. Yeah. And now his mom already barely had any emotion with his brother dying, and now she has no emotion with this situation, so he's just left alone, and and his brain, because again, he's still a developing person, they're like 16, 17 years old. Yeah, he's finding out who he is, exactly. He just recently found out that he's apparently gay and likes guys, exactly that's a huge thing, yeah. But you know, when you have this, when you have this authority figure in your life telling you you need to do this, this, and this, and this and this, as someone who's developing, you're like, okay, I guess I have to do this, this, this, and this.

And again, we'll see this a little bit later, but Smone doesn't understand that. He doesn't know their dynamic. Yeah. So, but as a watcher, you can really see all sides. Oh, that's why he is acting certain does things like that. Um, and then we get to the whole entire school part. So we get to see like everybody's reaction kind of to things. Yeah. The girls were like all sitting in the library, yeah, for some two of her friends, yeah. And they're just kind of like, well, I mean, they could just do surrogacy, and they're talking about how they need like bright blue eyes of like a woman or something. So then they're like they're saying she needs to be of like royal blood or something like that. And make sure they have the right eye color and all this kind of stuff. And I'm like, bro, what the fuck? And then I mean, at least they're like, oh, they could just do a surrogate, yeah. Like they really said, I don't give a fuck, yeah. Just get a surrogate. Like, I feel like the only person who fucking cares is the mom. Well, like her and the whole entire royal court, yeah, family. But everyone else, their age, is just like, yeah, just get a surrogate, bro. Like, they're just like whatever. Like, and Felice is just a good one, just being like stop talking about it. Yeah, that's not basically she's like, no. No, that's not happening. Mind you, I just have to point out too, I'm sure you noticed, but Sarah still has her hair clips in. Yeah. And she's been wearing them this entire time. She has. And um, then we switch over to Simone at home, and a fucking reporter just shows up at his door. I'm like, the fucking audacity, bro. Bro, just leave him alone. The fact that he opened the door in the first place. I said, bro, he has a camera on right in front of him. That's what I'm saying. And you've never met him before. The fuck? Why would you open the door? And he just he just stood there and then he just let the guy talk, and then he like slowly closed the door. He's like, nope, nope, nope. And he's like, I'm gonna call the police on you. Yeah. Like, babes, just don't open the door for right now. I mean, he's never really had that experience though, so I don't think he was expecting that. Yeah. So I think this is when he starts realizing, like, oh shit. It just keeps building. I think he realizes like just how big this is. Yeah, because I at first he's just like, what like, man, this sucks. Yeah. And he doesn't realize how impactful this is for Wilhelm because he has all this put on his shoulders at literally 16, 17 years old. Yeah, he can see what's been weighing him down all this time. That is not, it's not just the fact that he's gay and kissing a guy. Yeah. It's like way bigger than it is. And I think for Simone, I think he really thought it was just that. Yeah. Like it was like, oh yeah, the courts won't like it or whatever, and yeah, like it's not it's not just that he's kissing a guy. Like Volum does not have an issue with kissing guys, obviously, yes from the last couple. And he still wants to stay with you, obviously. Like, obviously, but there are other outside factors that are playing a huge role and basically forcing his hand with these decisions, especially his mom. Yeah, like his mom is one of those biggest outside forces that is really forcing his hand. Um and then, well, we forgot too when they were at the library, they took the computer. Yeah, and Sarah, Sarah watched them take the take, see the IT people take the computer, and in her head, that's when it clicks, she saw August at that computer and was like, he posted the video. And you can see the wheels turning in her head, and it's just like shit's about to go down, bro. Because she realized that and she's very confrontational. Yeah. Like she she does not play around. But um Simone's friends came to visit. They well they knock on the window, and he this is right after the reporter, so he's like, What? What do you want? And he opens the witch like uh and his friends are just like, Whoa man, like you gotta let us sit in the winter, and this conversation is so funny because it also cheers um Simone up just a little bit because they're talking about like the basically the sex tape being leaked, and uh then they somehow like get on the topic of Kim K's yeah sex tape because his one friend was like, Well, you know, celebrities make sex tapes all the time and they end up just fine. So he's calling his friend a celebrity, literally, and his other friend is like, What are you literally talking about? He's like, you know, like Kim K. And he's like, Have you ever seen that video? And she's like, No. He's and she's like, Have you? And he goes, Yeah, I've watched it. Yeah, and you know, he's doing and Kim K is doing really good right now, so like you'll be fine, blah blah blah, and they just keep going back and forth, and it's just really cute. And that's when Simone's like, Yeah, I think I'm gonna come back to our school and start the next term with you guys, and they're like excited for him, but at the same time, they're like, You can't just let these people do whatever they want. How how dare they do all this? And you're the one that has to quit. They're like, Don't quit. Like, you you should you should stick with it. Like, you're you're strong. And that's on good friends, yeah. They're like good friends. Like, obviously, yeah. If my friend was like, hey, I want to come back to school with you, I'd be like, Yeah, but then I'd be like, Well, why are you doing that? Exactly. And they they can sense that he's just like ashamed or scared, I guess. And they're like, We know you though, like you, you deserve to be there just because they Which is why you're there, exactly, and just because they're doing bad actions, that doesn't mean that you should be the one that has suffering all the consequences, exactly. Which there shouldn't even be consequences. That's what I'm saying. Like, who cares? Who cares? I mean, this is me saying that as someone who's not in the royal family, blah blah blah. Um anyway, but then we really get to see like Simone just like shut down, yeah. Like completely shut down, like with everything. Like he just um kind of like sits there turning off his phone, not wanting to talk to anybody. Yeah, like his friends are trying to get in contact with him, and they're like, What's going on? Like, why are you not receiving anything? He's like, Why do you shut off my phone? I turn off everything, I don't want to see anything do anything. They're also like, Well, have you talked to Wilhelm? And he's like, No, like I turned my phone off. Yeah. Meanwhile, Wilhelm's trying to text him. He's trying to contact him. Yeah, he's like, Hey, like, we're in this together. Like, I know, it's so cute. It's like texting he's getting full ghosted. I know, he's texting his phone, he's like, Hey, like, are you okay? You know, I want you to come to school tomorrow. I want to talk to you, I want to see you. You know, we're in this together, and we we should handle this together. Yeah. And I was like, Ugh! And again, like Simone shutting down like that. We'll have to shut down that many times, too, because of all the stuff he's gone through with the reporters, exactly, and everything. And I and again, I think this is when Simone's starting to be like, oh, I see what comes with you know being associated with someone in the royal family. Like, it's not just right, they can't just basically do whatever. Oh yeah, you can do whatever you want. Uh no consequences. Like, um, actually, you can't, correct. Um, and then we get to fuck ass August. Coming in to give Wilhelm his fucking ass food. Will him like misses dinner because he's just in his room, like shut down, and August walks in with a tray of food. How fucking dare you? How dare you walk into his room with food after you just exposed him to the entire world and now he's facing the consequences of your actions and everyone is freaking out over it. How dare you say, you know, I'm I'm here for you, you know, you can you can trust me, blah blah blah blah. Like, let me know if anyone's giving you a hard time. Bitch, you're the one causing the hard time. I gave the hard time to him. You're you're the one causing him this anguish and hard time to begin with. Specifically. Like, literally, fuck you. He makes me so mad. Like, genuinely, what are you doing? Like, and then this is where like I I hate August's character, like, right? Uh huh. But then he says stuff sometimes where you're just like, he could be a good person. Like, he's telling him all these things, right? And then Wilhelm's like, well, what should I do? And he's like, or he's like, What do you think my brother would do? Right, because he's like, you know, I don't have my brother here, I I don't know. So he basically is asking him as his brother, just being like, Right, because he doesn't have to do that. What Eric tells. And he said, I think Eric would want you to be yourself. Exactly. And I'm like, I'm like, what the fuck? I'm like, that's really good advice. But still, but still fuck you, because you're you're the one who posted this whole video, and now you're sitting here being like, Oh, you know, like, I'm here for you. Your brother would want you to be who you are. Like, literally, fuck off. He makes me so mad. Which is so true, but also, what are you doing? That's what I'm saying, like confused. Dude. And then we get to the locker room because Simone ends up coming to school. Mm-hmm. Which Proud of Han Brave. Exactly. Glad you're there, sweetie. Yeah, and they're they're sitting across from each other on the benches, and their feet are like entwined, and they're hugging with their feet and then they're holding their hands. Yeah, it's so cute, and they're just, you know, talking to each other, and Simone comes over and sits next to Villem, and Villem's like, you know, I I was told that I have to make a statement, and they want me to deny that it's me in the video. And Simone's just kind of like, What? And he's like, you know, Villain's like, I just don't even want to say anything. He's like, who cares? Like, yeah, I I just don't even want to say anything.

And Simone's just like, okay, but you can see me visibly in the video. Mm-hmm. Like, his face is the most visible in the video. And so I under I understand like Simone freaking out. Which honestly, this little scene right here kind of shows Simone's growth a little bit. Because when initially things when they first started, and you know, they were talking in the music room, I think it was. You know, um, they were talking about like I forgot what they were talking about specifically, but like Simone like went after him. It was it was with the drugs, yes. And Wilhelm was just trying to understand, talk to him, and he like crashed out and like started yelling at him and everything, and Wilhelm was like, yo, I'm just trying to talk. Yeah. And the fact that we get to this locker scene here, and he's just not pointing blame, he's not like he's not like freaking out, like to the point where he's like, Well, you're gonna make a statement, like you know, like he's he's still worried, but he's trying to figure out what he's trying to say and trying to talk to him. Right, like he's actually listening to him more than time um and trying to understand like what he's going to say and like what the what pressure he's under. And I think because of all the publicity now, I think that's why he's kind of like okay. A little bit. I think I understand like why this is such a such a big deal, and he's like, you know, you should be able to do what you think is right and say what you think is right, and Willem's like, yeah, you know, I I I understand. And she's like, Can I talk to you? And he's like, about what? Yeah, he's kind of like no, I don't what and she's like, I know you did it. And then and then he's like, Okay, come on. He ushers her in room. He's like, get the fuck in here. She's like, he opens the door and he goes, get in. Literally, I'm like, he's freaking out. And she she's like interrogating him, which is good for her. She's like, I know you leaked that video, why'd you do it? And he's like, I I don't know, like he was just an upset boy. Like, that's he was, and this is when this is when he finally kind of like expresses some of his emotions, which I'm so surprised. I do like the scene, I do too. Like, and of course it's all to Sarah, yeah, and he like expresses all these emotions that he's been holding in that he hasn't expressed to anyone else, and he's like, Because you know, Willem has all this stuff and he just spits on it, like he just treats it like it's nothing, and he gets all this stuff, and I like but he's basically jealous of him because he wants what Willem has, and he's willing to quote unquote do the work that needs to be done, and Willem's apparently not doing and he's not like stepping up to the plate like he should, and Sarah's just like, okay, but that still doesn't mean you get to do that, right? And he's just like, and after that he's just like silent, yeah. He's just like, well, it's just the fact that you really get to hear August like understand that Wilhelm has no desire to have the crown, like at all. No, which like valid. I want any I don't want to want that either. Like they um which I mean this is like an important moment to the rest of the whole storyline for the whole entire series. Yeah, because this this comes up, it's kind of like it comes up frequently, yes. So and he's like, you know, I I'll I'll do whatever you want. Like, what do you want? Because he wants he wants to give her something so she doesn't tell everyone that he posted it. And she's like, I want to be I want a board here. This part this part Sarah, honey, why did you go in for that kiss? And was that really the right moment, or was there really any right moment with August? I don't I don't and why I don't think so, but also at the same time, like she she has this underlying feeling of not fitting in and people not liking her for who she is. Yeah, and I think in this moment it just doesn't make sense to me because like she's just now becoming friends with all these girls, and Fleece is becoming one of her best friends, yeah. And she and Fleece just dumped him because that's she he kissed Sarah. Yeah. And I'm like, okay, that's cool. And now we're doing this. Like, I don't understand this whole like not backstabbing, but it kind of is. It's kind of like a slap in the face of like, why just broke up with him? Was it did you really want him this whole time? But we get to dinner again, and this happened like in the one of the first episodes where she wanted them to eat like properly at the dinner table, and they're eating in the living room. It's like let's just eat here because it was in front of the TV, and you know, Simone just had a shitty fucking past couple days, and so they're just trying to eat pasta on the couch, and Sarah's dressed up in her dress, and she has her hair all done, makeup on, and she's like, you know, we should really invest in some linen napkins. And we just kind of laugh at them. And Simone and their mom just like kind of look at each other and like giggle, because they're just kind of like, What? Like, what are you even talking about? And she has such a big crash out, the biggest crash out, uh literally the biggest crash out to date, and she like I forget how it just Um, she basically called the house trashy. I'm done coming in this trashy house with blah blah. Yeah, she's like, I'm applying for the grant to go live like on campus and everything. I'm not gonna be here anymore in this trashy house. Yeah, that's how it happened. She stormed off. She storms into the kitchen to eat at the kitchen table, and Smone's like, I'll handle this. Uh-huh. And so he goes in there and they start fighting because he's like, you know, how dare you like say that's mom. Say that's like after everything she's done for us, she's been so good to us. Right. And then Sarah's like, Well, she didn't she didn't protect us from dad good enough, she didn't divorce him fast enough. And I'm like, You under do you understand that she was also being abused? Right. Like, she it is so hard to get out of abusive situations as someone who's been in many. It is so hard to get out of that because you're stuck in that cycle, and even then, I feel like maybe the mom was totally aware of it, but like Simone was saying, he's like, Well, we would have been homeless if she hadn't waited. Right. And so she had to figure stuff out, right? So she also had to figure stuff out on her own on how to afford a place to live, right? So they wouldn't just be able to do it. And this was years ago, so yeah. So like Sarah and Simone were probably like, I don't know, like 11, 12, maybe or something. Like, you know, they're still kids. Yeah. So she had two kids trying to find a job, getting a job, trying to get a house and everything for them to live comfortably. Exactly. And like I understand where she could be coming from with the dad and all that, but at the same time, like you have to you have to realize the situation that your mom was in. And it's not easy. It's easier said than done. You can look at that situation and be like, well, that was a bad situation, just get yourself out of it. And it's like not always that easy. It's not that easy. So it they're just kind of like talking, and um Vilhelm's like, you know, I don't want to stop seeing you. Like, I I don't want this to to end. And he's like, you know, I gotta I gotta go. And Simone's like, well, you know, how do you feel? And Volum's like, I feel like I'm gonna throw up. I was about to say that is so valid. I would also feel like I'm about to throw up if I had to do this. Yeah. Because I mean, there's just so many things like racing through your mind. Right. He's because on one hand, I really care for this person, I want to be with them, but at the other time, you'd have your mom, who you're supposed to trust and look up to, telling you you have to do this. And so, again, as a teenager, when you have that influence over you, you're you're gonna because there's also that really weird power imbalance, it's that power dynamic, and you're gonna unfortunately probably listen to what your mom is getting you to do, right? Exactly, because it even cuts to Wilhelm going in for the interview, and he goes in by himself. He has no one there to support him. They set him in like a little bird in a cage, like exactly. And they have they have everything set up, it's all posh, and it's all very calculated, how everything's set up for this interview. And I feel like for this interview, when they're when someone and his friends are then looking at the basically his statement and everything, there was no chance that he was ever gonna be able to say a statement that was gonna benefit him.

Like when I first watched this show, because I had to wait. Yeah. I was one of those people that watched it when it came out, so I had to wait for the second season. Yeah.
