Welcome back to another week of 'Tis the Season! This week Emma and Meredith talk about the third episode of season two.

Because I'm gone, and Emma has her nursing career, I guess, going on. So um there will be no episode next week, so there'll be a little break. Not that we've been like completely consistent, um, but that's okay. Um, truly that's okay. Um and maybe today we'll actually create a video on TikTok and uh what is it, advertise advertisement to the fullest. Exactly. So, anyways, it's been a week. Um, I genuinely feel like a hot steaming pile of crap right now. Um, two things. One, I did something really outrageous to my neck. I don't actually know what happened. Um, but there is like a huge knot in the side of my neck. It's massive. And Emma tried to get it out for like 15 minutes yesterday and it moved a little bit. It like shifted like an inch down. Um this morning it's just I I can't turn my neck, like it hurts so bad. And this morning I woke up and it was like stuck. Like I literally had to get in the shower with the hot water and like massage it out a little bit. Um, and it feels better now. Like I can actually turn my neck now, but it still hurts. But it's it's better. Um, so there's that, and I hope it goes away soon because again, I'm leaving on vacation and I can't be in pain on vacation. Nobody's um and then yesterday I woke up with a fucking sore throat. And she's doing great. You're you're I think it's so fantastic. This I think it's because anytime like I have something build up to something and then it's over, my body just like crashes and then I end up getting like a sore throat for like two or three days. Um, I'm pretty sure that's what it is because I haven't been around anyone sick. Um, so I've been taking Zycam. Hopefully that makes it go away. I'm yawning. Oh my god. But uh yeah, so I've been having a week. Um I I had to call into work today because genuinely I just I I can barely even sit up straight with my neck. So I just called off. It'll not go over well. Mind you, I'm my own boss, so I can do what I want. But exactly. Exactly. So I was just like, yeah, um, I don't feel good, and my voice is my throat is scratchy today. It's a lot better than it was yesterday, so I'll be able to make it through the podcast. Um, but when you teach, you know, it's just constant talking for like four and a half hours, and I just I cannot feasibly do that. So here we are. Um we we fell into the grasps of the dumpling squishy world. We did. And you're so welcome. Um, I've gone down a rabbit hole of just TikToks recently of like fidget training and all that different stuff, and I showed Meredith and I was like, bro, like we need to go and to like five below or something and find where some of these fidgets are. So we end up at five below this morning. These kids must be crazy because they're holding them hostage at the front of the store. Like, and we didn't even realize it. I don't think they had it set up yet or something, because like we walked in and we went all the way back, we're looking around. Yeah. There was like nothing out there really. We also went to Target. They had nothing at Target yet. Not a single thing. They just had a carrot, which I still am kind of sad I didn't just get the carrot. Cause that sounds so good to just like cut my hands into right now. Like, genuinely. So that's what our morning consisted of. Um, and me, I guess, just dying in pain from my neck. So hopefully that gets better. But, anyways, we were still able to watch an episode. So we got episode three today of season two of Young Royals. Uh, I just want to say this entire episode made me so fucking mad. I've never hated an episode of a TV show more. Literally, everyone's pissing me off. Every last person.

So every single time someone did something, I actually wanted to pull my hair out because I genuinely was like, What are you like these people just do stuff and they just like there's just no just thinking they're just they're just like oh I feel like doing this right now and I'm gonna do it, and then like they just don't even think about the consequences or anything. No, they're just like oh yeah, this seems fine. Like, bro, what do you mean? What do you mean this seems fine? Yeah, I don't I don't quite understand. Um so, anyways, you're in for a roller coaster ride this episode. Yeah, so prepare yourself. Cause I was not. I was also not, and there's stuff in this episode I totally forgot happened. Yes, which literally blew my mind because I did not know that happened. I was sitting there and I was like, um, excuse me. Since when did this happen?

Anyways, we start the episode off with Wilhelm just trying to get into breathing and relaxation and in the zen. With the the therapist.

Oh yeah. Yes, yes, yes, yes. I thought for some reason I thought that was the therapist saying that. No. It was like it on his phone. It's one of those like recording things. Like record, yeah. Where they're just like, take a deep breath now, hold it. Like that that sweet, calm, like, you know, well, I wonder if it's from the pamphlet he picked up because he looked at it on his desk. That's like the anxiety and panic attack pamphlet. So he was clearly doing that, trying to go out for a walk, trying to relax, do his thing. Um, doesn't seem to be working all that well. He seems to be frustrated. Um, which I would also be frustrated if somebody over some voicing was like, stay calm, relax your voice. You know what that reminds me of the Delilah girl on the radio. Yeah. That was always on like for Christmas music and shit. And she'd always be like, This is Delilah. And every time she'd come on, I'd be like, turn this off like me out of this nightmare. But then on the other side, we have um August talking to some guy. I don't remember a lawyer. It was Was it a lawyer? It was uh and he has like a contact with his stepdad, which we all know he doesn't really like his stepdad. He's just kind of like this guy's a fucking idiot. But he needs some help because he knows that he's gonna go see like the queen of the queen, and he's like all up in hands, like this is about the video video, and I was like, I need I need legal counsel to protect me from this, which I don't know how they're gonna protect you from the royal court, right? Um, but good luck, buddy. And seeing his eyes flash when he's like, Oh, so technically this is a prisonable offense. That's like child pornography. He's like, you could be charged with defamation or child pornography. And he's like, Prison? What? Me? Like, yes, sir. Yes, sir. What you did was illegal. Like, even even though you're like 17, 18 years old, yeah, it is illegal. Yep. And you did that to the crown prince, so you really didn't. So that's even more fucked up. Wow. But I'm like But to see him just like so shocked like that is like, yeah, sure. Uh-huh. Nothing was gonna happen. And then after that, we get back to them at practice, right? Is that the next thing you have?

And so Wilhelm goes up to him and is like, hey man, are you okay? And then all of a sudden Simone's just like, no, I'm not okay.

I'm like, and I'm like, Simone, you agreed to cheat, you had fun. You did, you had a blast. You even said so. And literally you went with him and you didn't have to. You did not have to go with him. Like, what genuinely fuck off. And he was just there to help you, and you understood that, so you did it. He's just asking you if you're okay, and all of a sudden you're blaming him for something that you agreed to. You are upset with your own actions. Yeah. Like, genuinely, fuck off, bro. It made me so mad. I literally wrote down someone pissing me off. Like, no same. Like, first off, he just asked you how you were. It had nothing to do with the fact that, like, oh, I cheated at a bob. He's like, no, I'm doing awful because you made me cheat. He didn't make you do anything, bitch. No, you made that decision yourself. Literally. Like, he suggested it and he could have said it such a different way. He couldn't have been like, Yeah, man, I really wish like we didn't cheat or whatever. Like, I feel like it's bringing me down.

Like I just it's so frustrating. He pisses me off. I just don't understand. Jesus Christ. Like, I I feel for Wilhelm right now because he's just trying his best. He's just asking questions, making like he's just trying to be a friend. Right. It has nothing to even do with dating at this point.

He's like, the food here hasn't been not really that great.

He does something later in this episode that makes me so fucking mad. No, literally. Um, but he's just kind of complaining about it, and Felice's just like, okay, well, why don't you just ask him if they're together or not? Like, and and Wilhelm just kept being like, it feels like he has feelings. Yeah. And everything. And Felice's like, bro, just ask. Yeah. Like it's that simple. Just literally just ask. And then we get Simone with his friends. Yes. And they they low key call him out on his shit. They're clocking him every time. Which is good for them because he's pissing me the fuck off. And he's pissing them the fuck off as well. Oh, I remember what the it feels like he has feelings is from now.

You're exactly where you wanted to be. And now that you're there, you're complaining. Mm-hmm. And your friend is trying to help you, and now you're complaining that your friend is helping you. Yeah. He's like, bro, literally fuck off. And the entire time he's like, I'm cold, I'm hungry. I'm cold and hungry. I'm like, okay. Like, okay. Well, I'm sure your friend is too. You agree to go out in the snow and do this because they're doing stuff out on like the soccer field and it's snowing. Like, genuinely, the amount of anger that is coursing through my body because of this one episode is actually fucking crazy, dude. It's like 11 out of 10. I was gonna say like a 15 out of 10. You know what? I'm gonna say 100 at this point. I don't even know. Actually, yeah. It's probably pretty diabolical. Yeah. Um, anyway, so then they're like, okay, fine, like, we'll be done. And they go over there and they start asking him, like, well, do you still have feelings for for Willem? Yeah. And everything. He's like, oh no, no, like, bro, you're a horrible liar. Denying all that, whatever. And they're like, What about Marcus? And then they started talking about Marcus, and he's like, Uh-huh.

Um, and then he starts talking about how he just feels lonely, like with all this pressure on him and stuff. And then he gets to talking about Simone without saying who it is. Yeah, he's like, I met a friend. And he's like, I was feeling things I didn't realize I could feel. And it was very like I guess overwhelming. And he's like, I wish sometimes I wish I it would have never even happened. Yeah. Which like I totally get that. Because now especially what he's going through and really having to deal with already. Now not only does he have to deal with his brother being dead and getting all this responsibility put on him. Now he has to deal with this fucking bullshit with Simone because Simone is just like not even like trying. No. And like not even listening, not doing anything. Simone's just there. True. And I'm like, Simone, literally stand the fuck up. Stand up. Just stop. Like he's pissing me off. Holy shit. I just don't understand his thought process. I don't understand his thought process either. Because I don't think like that. No. So anyway, then they get put in the same fucking book group group in class. And it's so funny because the whole premise of the book literally relates to their situation. Yep. That's why I like stuff like this, it's so cool. And I was just like, wow, that's really fucking crazy. How about you actually read the book then? No, genuinely. No, seriously, because the entire book is about this girl or this lady, and she she ends up I I totally I totally forget like I forget the entire backstory. But she goes, she goes to like school or something, blah blah blah blah, and she ends up falling for a female classmate, and she wasn't expecting that. And like she has to turn inward and kind of work on like navigate that. And navigate that. Yeah. Like, hmm, that sounds really fucking familiar. That poor red-headed guy. I forget his name. I know, but he's just he's just in La La Land, bro. Doesn't he literally does not even know what the fuck? He's like, I'm gonna go get a coffee since we're waiting for Sarah. Yeah, because Sarah's also in the group. I forgot about that. So it's just like maybe you guys should read the b book and maybe you'd learn from it. Yeah. Like, especially after the conversation they have while they're sitting there waiting. No, dead ass. And will I I love how he just doesn't like leave anytime at all. And so you can see what Willie's just kind of like okay, like he's clearly like, damn, like my shot's gone or whatever. Exactly. And so I feel like Simone can see that on his face and he's like, Well, we're not together. Right. And it's like, so if you don't care about him anymore, why would you say that?

But we get um to uh Simone back at the school and he's pitching his idea about the Jubilee, like the song and everything, to his um choir, like professor.

So then he comes back and he's like, Hey, I have something that I wrote for the Jubilee, can I do it for you? And she's like, Okay, sure. And like when he's playing it, her the look on her face, I to me is just like kind of like okay. Like, she's just not like she's not like oh my gosh, yeah. So she says something like different than what her face says. Like what she tells him was like, Oh my god, I actually really like it a lot. This is an amazing arrangement, but her face is telling him like telling me at least, like, is this guy real right now? It's kind of giving like you pull me aside for this. Right, like you pulled me aside for what? Like, I think she actually genuinely did like it and everything. But she was just like, you probably I think for her, she was just kind of like, Okay, you would not have told me this other. Or like you could have sent me an email with a chat. Like that's that's how it felt. Like she was just like, damn. I felt her in that moment. Yeah, and she was like, Yeah, you know, it's it's good. Um, but you just need it to not have the cussing in it, because he says the F-word, he says follow. And he thought that would be okay when singing it. Literally. And you can totally tell the lyrics are so personal, and it directly relates to I.

He's like on food, like because Vincent gets up and he's just a fucking little bitch, bro. He's a twirl. He makes me so mad, but he's like yelling about like, tomorrow we're gonna we're gonna beat blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. And when this is happening, Villem and Simone make eye contact and they like smile at each other. I mean it is, it's funny, it's low-key funny. It is funny, and I'm just like, okay, so I'm so confused. Do you guys want to be together or not? Because the amount of looks we just keep getting is insane.

I just I just can't with Vincent's attitude.

So she's in the stable, and he pulls up, and he's just like, Hey, uh, you know, but what are you what are you doing later?

As that's all ending, someone walks in, sees them, he's like, bro, what's that about, you know? And she's like, nothing. And she's like, Aren't you here to see Marcus or something? Yeah, she tries to like deflect. And he's like, Yeah, this next part, I want to punch a hole through the wall. Literally, genuinely, on both parts. Like, both of them.

Someone is going down to lay the land to Marcus to basically be like, I'm not ready for any well, he's not he's he's like, I'm not ready for anything serious. And it's like, okay, bro, elaborate. What does that even mean?
