Hi, I'm Emma. I'm Meredith, and this is Tis the Season. That one was a little that was okay. It was a little chunky. That was bad. Um, anyways, we are back. This week. We are back. I was on vacation last week. Yes. And Lily dying a little bit. You? No, you. Oh, yeah. So I was sick right before I left for vacation. And then on vacation, because you know it's vacation, I was getting up early and I was staying up late. So I didn't really get a lot of rest after being sick. So now this week I've literally been sleeping all hours of the day I possibly can. Um, so this is the first day that I've actually gotten up and like actually done stuff. Um so yeah, here we are. Alive, ready, and willing to get into whatever this is today. Yeah, so we kinda we kind of forgot what happened the last time we left off because it's been two weeks. Almost three, I'm guessing. So we started the episode and I was like, the fuck is going on right now? Because I truly did not know. Because we just have it starting out with uh Wilhelm messaging and saying, I don't think Henry saw. And I said, saw what? And I was like, yeah, uh, they they were making out, remember? Yeah, full Feliz and Wilhelm were making out. Um, which yay, congratulations to them. Yeah, congratulations to them. Um, it's more so of a nobody wanted this kind of moment for all parties. Right. But uh yeah, anyways, this is episode four of season two. Um coming in strong. Things are getting good. Things are getting heated. This whole episode, I I I like it more than the other episodes. I yeah, up until this point, I was just like, oh my god, like, is this season gonna end? Yeah. There were still a lot of things that made me mad. Oh, I was just like, what the fuck 100%. But then I remember they're in high school, I'm like, okay, yeah, yeah, you gotta calm down. What's that mean? Where it's like, you do whatever you want, or whatever, you gotta calm down. You know what I'm talking about? I'm I have no clue what the fuck is that? But I'm sure I'll show you afterwards. Oh my god. There was something that one of my cousins said on our vacation, and I literally cannot stop saying it. It's from Arthur, and I am so surprised it was allowed in a kid's show. I think I already know what it is. And it's the it's when DW's like, uh, DW's like, squirting contest! Let's see who can score the farthest. Why did they put that? There's a lot of things on that show specifically. They should not be anywhere near anywhere near at all. So the the issue is now that I've heard it, I can't stop saying it. So for la last night, I don't even know how we got on this topic, but last night I couldn't stop saying it, and I I really I'm so sorry to Teresa. Um she thought it was funny though, so it's okay. Yeah. But literally Oh, you were talking about a meme. But then it got me on that. But yeah, I I don't I don't know that meme. I'll have to show you the meme. Okay. It it's like it's when that girl's like, are you kidding? That's not fair. Blah blah blah. And then she's like, wait, no, no, I gotta calm down. It's not serious. That that one? No. You don't know that one? No. What? I literally see it all the time. Well, I guess we're just on different parts of the internet because damn. I I spend most of my time uh reading gay stuff. I mean I watch gay stuff. Yeah, but like if you're seeing the memes like on like TikTok or something, like I'm not on TikTok. I haven't been on TikTok in a hot minute. That's why, that's why you had like I literally had like 90 messages from Emma from videos she sent me. You're so welcome. And I was just like, well man. I was like, when did this happen? Because I hadn't been on it in like two weeks. Cause I don't I don't really go on it that much anymore. It's my life. As of right now. Oh because well, I don't know. I'm just doing other things. Well, you should at least see my videos. I think I don't know at all. I did, I got through half of them. I'll have to do half of them as crazy. I'll have to do the other half today or something. Oh, that's pretty good. Anyway, so episode four. Um back to uh the beginning. Um, so we're talking about Wilhelm. He's messaging uh Felice being like, I don't think anybody saw us because they had made out, but sure enough, Henry He did snitch little snitch, he is the bitch, biggest snitch, he is, and you can tell that everybody's kind of talking about Felice, the girls are popping around being like, Wow. Like even the girls in choir were like whispering about her, and like come on, yeah. And like her friends are like kind of like messing around with her, um, because they they know that it's not yeah, anything serious. Yeah. Um, and so they're they're kind of like messing around about it, blah blah blah. But they just let it go, they're not like yeah, continuing on about it. Yeah, because then they bring up, they're like, well, you know, uh, oh, what was her name? Stella and Frederica? Is that her name? Uh it's uh yeah, Frederica. Yeah, they made out at a party. They're like, oh, oh girls do that with their best friend, blah, blah, blah, whatever. And because they they know that Volum's gay, they're just like, oh. So they're like, oh, she's your best friend, you know. So they're trying to like put relations on top of and then Sarah's like, well, I've never made out with my girl best friend, and they're like, Well, I guess it's about time. Yeah. And so they're just kind of like messing around about it, and they know it's not anything serious. Right, right. Um, and they're kind of telling Felice, like, don't let what other people are saying, like, dip you because it's not, yeah, it's not yeah, it's not worth it. Right. And then doesn't Sarah ask like how to send nudes? Yes. I said, girl, what? Well, because August sent her something. Yeah. It's like, okay, your turn. And it wasn't even a nude. It was literally just like part of his chest and then his face. Yeah. So like it was a 20% nude. Literally, and they were like, Oh, don't send nudes. Yeah, they're like, Don't do that. Don't do that. Yeah. She's wild for that. I love how she has no filter. She literally has no filter here for it. But they started talking about the masquerade ball and the whole thing that's gonna be happening, which honestly, if instead of Valentine's Day, I want that. Yeah, I know. So basically, it's like their school tradition where over a course of a week, guys or whoever will send a letter to the girls that they are interested in, and then if you find out who sent the letter, you go to the ball with them. Yep. And they like dress up in like the corsets and the wigs and everything, like the whole 1800s get up. Do you know how bad that would be? Like, I I would if somebody did it to me, I would never figure it out, and I would go along. Because like there's no way. I would have been like, okay. I literally would have read it and be like, alright, alright. Cool, come find me, I guess. Come find me, because I'm not chasing you, ho. Yeah. Like, like, that's just how that would go. Like you you need to tell me. I would end up so alone. Cause I would be like, I'll just go with my friends. Okay. And that's exactly yeah. Yeah. So I would just be done. I'd be like, cool, what a great letter. Um, I hope I hope I figure it out. Keep this, keep this information in the back of your mind. Yes. Um, along with the making out. Very important. Along with the making out that we discussed like two minutes ago. Yes. So keep those keep those in mind. Um then we get to good old breakfast time with the with the guys. They're I would never want to eat with them. They stress me out so much. That would literally stress me the fuck out. Like, why are we making Wilhelm get on the fucking table because somebody can't keep their stupid mouth shut? No, literally. So this happened in another episode. I don't remember if it was in the first season or It was probably in the first season. I think it was the first season. So basically, if they know or suspect that you did something with someone, they want you to get up on the table and like talk about it. Yeah, it was the first season because it was about Simone. And they thought it was with like Felice at times because he dipped away from the party. Yes. So they they were trying to get him to like get up and confess, and he has the most valid crash out because I love it. What is up with what is up with the invasion of privacy? Yeah, he's like, what's with these traditions? The fact that you guys love these traditions is just so weird to me, and all that kind of stuff. And I'm like, yes, Wilhelm, exactly. He's like, he's like, Do uh do we not get any privacy in this in this place? Right. Like, this is ridiculous. And they're basically trying to force him to talk about something he doesn't want to talk about. I'm like, you guys are evil. Yes. Like this would make me so anxious. And my thing is is like Henry, like, why be a snitch? Either he really is the biggest snitch, or they somehow confronted him and got it out of him, which I wouldn't doubt that either. But but also, how would they knew know if that he saw something? I don't know. Maybe they saw him like walk out of somewhere, or like, oh, did you pop into Wilhelm's room? What did you what were you saying to him? Or That's true. You know, they're always everywhere. I don't know how to explain it. Like they could have seen him walking out because closing his door. Weren't they grabbing him for something? They're like, hey, so they're Oh, yeah, you might be like because they they they're very pushy that way, I've noticed. Yeah, but then well, we'll get to that later. But I I was about to say something, but that happens later in the episode. But anyways, yeah, so they're just like it's kind of evil, it's low key evil, because that would make me so anxious, I'd literally throw up. Yes. So then they finally announced that it was Felice, and and Wilhelm was like, we were just watching a movie, and they're like, No, well, I don't think Henry would make up that you guys are making out, you know. Right. And everything. And this part pisses me off so. No, because the fucking audacity, bro. Simone gets so mad about it, he like storms out of the room. What right do you have at this point? Literally, what right do you have when you have ended every single conversation, ended every single part of this relationship from the very beginning. What literally what right do you have? No, I'm literally, I'm like, you're with another man right now. You're literally parading around this other guy in front of Wilhelm. And now you're mad that he supposedly made out with Felice. Like, wow. Like, literally, what the fuck is your issue, dude? That's so hypocritical. Literally, fuck off. Make me so mad. It makes me so mad because genuinely, what is the thought process there? There's nothing like you can't you can't have two guys at once. No. You don't even want the one guy that wants you. No, literally. Like you're just you're just there because you feel like you you have to. Yes. And but then he proceeds to go out and text him right away. He's like, what are you up to? No, literally, I'm like, bro, do you even want to hang out with him though? Like, this guy isn't helping you at all. It's just like an outlet for him, truly. I'm like, dude, like ridiculous. I don't know how August used his outlet with drugs. I feel like I feel like Simone's outlet is with this man that does not have human. Off-brand Sam Smith. Yes. Which I definitely did write. Yeah, she forgot the she forgot the character name, so she said off-brand. Yeah, I thought I said Simone asking Sam Smith. I'm gonna remember. No, and you can tell, like, so then they do end up hanging out, and you can just tell the energy is just not reciprocated from Simone. Like, you can tell Marcus very much likes this guy. And Simone just doesn't. He's just kind of there. And then when they're hanging out, he asks Marcus if he wants to go to the ball with him. And Marcus is like, no, we should hang at my place instead. I'm like, so you're not even trying to which is really interesting because at the beginning of all this, Simone was just like, I just want to hang out at your place, I just wanna make out with you, I wanna have sex with you. And Marcus is like, no, no, no, like let's go out, whatever. Right. And now it's like almost like Marcus is trying to be what he wants to be, and now he's just like no, because his intentions are different now. She's he's trying to show off his boyfriend, his new whatever to Will him. His new boy toy. Yeah. It's very different now. Yeah, and he's like, no. I'm like, oh I want you to be this, I want you to be in public. I want I want to show you off, even though I have no intention to be with you. Literally. And I'm like, sir, what what what is genuinely happening here? And if I was Marcus, you know, as ugly, fuggly as he is, I would also be confused. I would also be like, what do you mean you wanna go out? You usually just want to stay in, you wanna do this. And that would very much confuse me. Yeah for sure. So, anyways, but someone's supposed to be there to sing. So then Marcus is like, well, why why don't we just leave right afterwards? Mm-hmm. And someone's just kind of like, okay, yeah, sure, whatever. Like, literally, he's just so indifferent. He's like, Yeah, whatever. That's fine. Whatever works, I guess. Yeah. No, literally, I like so do you like this guy? Or obviously not, but like, what genitally, what are you doing? He doesn't know. Now you're now you're just wasting your damn time. Yeah, always. Like always wasting his time. Oh my god. Um so then we get to Sarah having sexy time. Well, not that. Before that, in the gym. And Simone and Vilm are on opposite teams. Yeah, and Simone pelts him with a ball. And then they end up in the locker room together, and someone's like, I thought everyone else had left. And Vilm's like, well, obviously not. Yeah. Like I'm here. Yeah. And someone's like, I wish he would have given me a heads up about Felice. Fuck you. No, why should he why why does he need to give you a heads up? The audacity, the audacity to even request that. Literally fuck you, dude. Like you want nothing to do with him, so why would he say anything to you? He's leaving you. What? That's what you wanted. You guys aren't together. You're not a thing. Why should he give you a heads up? Why why did you give you a few minutes? You don't even want to be friends with him. No, literally. I'm like, why should why should he give you a heads up? Why do you deserve that? You don't, right because you didn't give him the same courtesy of telling him about your little boy toy. And when he did ask, you lied to him. No, literally. That it was nothing, and then you kissed in front. And that's why he's calling you a hypocrite. No, literally, like the the this is also another very valid crash out from Wilhelm. He's just like, okay, so that was really hypocritical. And then someone's like, well, he he likes when you know I do this or when I sing and blah blah blah. And Volum's like, Me too! Like I did too. I literally do too. What the fuck are you talking about? Like if everything he was saying was making no sense. No, for real. And then Volum's like, the only reason this isn't working is because you can't accept my role in my family. Correct. Which clocked it because that's exactly what's happening. And Smoone's not even trying to understand anything. And also, they were only dating for like a month. To ask some of this stuff for someone you've been dating for a month is crazy. Is crazy. Crazy. Genuinely, what? Like just the fucking audacity, bro. Mm-hmm. Like, obviously, he wants to be public with you. But also you have to remember his family and what he's supposed to be doing. Like holy shit. I I I genuinely I'm mad. I'm so mad. Yeah. No a lot that Simone does. I mean, honestly, the entire season. Even let just everything that he's No, literally. I'm like, what are you doing? And honestly, good for Wilhelm for calling him out because he leaves and Simone's just like standing there like speechless. Yeah, because what else are you supposed to say to that? Because the truth. It's the truth. Like, but you can't you can't. You're trying to find reasons to hate him or make him to be a bad person when in reality it's you that can't handle him being the crown prince. Literally. And I understand that it's a lot of pressure, but you knew that going into it. Yes. It wasn't a sec it would be so different if he didn't know he was the crown prince or something. Right, and if it was a secret, but it's not a secret. Everyone knows. Yes. Like he was very in the know. He was very in the loop. He knew. Yes. Like that that's what pisses me off too. Like, bro, this wasn't a surprise. It wasn't like, oh, wait, what? You're the crown prince? No, literally. It wasn't it wasn't a surprise. So I'm so confused as to why he's acting like it was like a blindside kind of situation. Like it wasn't. He blindsided himself. But uh, anyways.
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_00We'll talk more about this later too with with Simone and everything. But but then Wilhelm gets to apologize to the police. Yes. Which is very nice. Yes. Um, and at first he was kind of like, I you know, I I was doing it because I saw Simone with blah blah blah blah, and she's like, Oh, so you just did it to make him jealous, right? And he was like, Oh, uh, no. He's like, I didn't mean it that way, blah blah blah. He's like, I just wanted to see if it felt the same as when I kissed Simone. She's like, Yeah, because that makes it so much better. Like, bro, what? But like valid. I I I understand. No, for real. And she was really chill about it, and she was like, Yeah, I didn't stop you, I could have stopped you, you know. No, for real. And she was like, Listen, I like you a lot as a friend. And he was like, I also like you a lot as a friend, and then they made up. Yeah. Which so it was just a wholesome moment where I'm just like, you know, they talked, they figured it out, and it was done within like a couple minutes, you know? Literally, literally, the only friendship that or pairing in the show that I'm like, yeah. They don't make me want to crash out, they don't make me want to punch myself in the head. Yes, like every every other pairing, and I'm saying pairing because they're not all dating or just like friendship or something. But like friendships or whatever. This is the only one that doesn't make me want to scream, literally. Like they they just understand each other so well, they get each other, like they understand the the different implications for their families and like the the different rules that they have. So it's just very it's refreshing. It is refreshing, especially because everything else is so uh shitty. But then Villem starts talking about how how much it hurts to see Simone with this other guy, and he's like, I feel like I'm gonna die. Yeah. And Felice is like, well, you know, just because you're not with him now doesn't mean that there's not a chance. And he's like, No, I think that's what it means. Like, I I think I have to move on. And she's kind of just like, bro. She's like, Okay, whatever you so please. Like, what do you think? But I mean, it's good through the fact that he's gotten to the point where he's like, Yeah, I just need to I just need to move on. Because at this point, I feel like he's had so many bad interactions. Simone is clearly onto this new guy now. For whatever reason. I don't know. Um, so yeah, I mean, in a sense, I think he's valid when trying to say this about himself and just be like, Yeah, I just need to move on. It's it's it's done, you know. That's true. Um, and then later, I guess later that night, Phone walks into the room where all the guys are, and they'll just stare and he's like, nice going. Like, thanks for telling everyone. Uh-huh. And uh Niles, we found we had to Google his name. Yes. Um Niles is sitting in there, and he's he's the other guy that's quote unquote secretly gay.
SPEAKER_01Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_00Um, he was the one that was talking to Vilhelm outside one of the other parties that they had. But he he was like, well, he was like, What's what's the issue? And he's like, I just want to walk into a room and not have everyone stare at me. And he's like, Well then don't walk in the room. We're just so cunty. I love it. It was so cunty. But then he ends up outside with him and he's like, he's talking to him. I'm only having like a valid conversation. No, for real. And he's like, Well, why don't you come to what is it? Verbier? Verbier? Yeah. I I don't know how to pronounce it. But it was one of those, and he was like, You should come there for Easter, like we can we can have a small party. Um, and he's like, What what kind of guys are you into? Blah blah blah. And Volum's like, I don't think that's a good idea, and he's like, Well, you didn't know I was gay. Yeah. So I'm good at being secretive, obviously. So you're not. Yeah. So and he he was just like making a lot of valid points. So many valid points. And you know, we started talking about Simon and everything, about the whole situation. Yeah, and him being the royal, like, you know, in the royal court and everything, and he's just like saying valid things where it's like, well, he's not on the same level, so that's why he's having such a hard time with it. Right, and he's like, you need to hang out with people that actually understand you know what what your life comes with in terms of the royal family. Because they can actually they can actually understand it. Yeah, exactly. So it's like I didn't like what he was saying, but I understood what he was saying, and it makes complete sense. It does, it does. And I and I completely I ple uh I completely agree. Because as much as we get mad at someone too, you have to understand that like he doesn't understand the whole realm of no royalty. He does not at all. Clearly, but also at the same time, he's not even trying to. No, like he's just like Yeah, so that's why I get annoyed. No, for sure. I circle back around, I'm like, um, so no. Yeah, but whatever. So at least at least someone's trying to help Velone with his gayness. I think my favorite part about the scene right before that though is when they're still inside, and I think it's Henry talking to August or somebody's talking to to Henry, and he was like trying to write a silu silhouette or whatever. Or a sonnet. A sonnet, and he was just like, I forget who said it to him. Who said it to Henry? But he was just like, send a dick pic then, like That was Vincent. Since it was like send a dick pic, then you will know why you're rejected. Like, oh my god. He's like, forget the sonnet. He's like, just send a dick pic, then you'll understand why you got rejected. And then they have like a little He was like, What the fuck, man? That was actually so crazy. They're all so they're all so mean to each other. They're all so county to each other. I don't know if I could live in that environment. It's like you'd be mean to me all the time. I feel like I'd be depressed. I feel like they're used to it though. They're just like, oh, whatever, man. Like if you just walked up to me and you were just like, damn, I'm like, you're ugly as fuck. I'd be like, okay. I don't think anyone would ever say that to you. Oh, thank you. But you know what I mean? Like, it's just like that energy. That's true. And you're just like, uh-oh, okay. But like if someone said that to me, I'd be like, okay. They're like, what do you want me to do about it? Right. I can't do shit. It's like, okay, send a picture of your boobs, they'll reject you. Then you'll know. Like, damn, what? I'm like, okay, have you looked in a mirror then how? Right. Like, uh, I'm sorry. Have you seen yourself? Confusion. I I feel like I feel like in that environment, I feel like I'd low-key thrive, because I just don't give a shit. I cared too much. I'd be like, oh. You and Teresa both. Uh we would. You both would be like, um. We would end up like hung somewhere. Like. I I literally I just give it back to them. I'd be like, it depends on the situation. Sometimes I get very like, I literally could care less, and then other times I care too much. It's very back and forth, dependent on the situation. No, for real. Like I would just be like, okay, whatever, man. I don't know what the hell you want me to realize. But then the next day, Frederica gets some kind of poem letter from a secret in the city. Yeah, because everybody starts getting them, right? Because we're talking about the ball and and all that jazz. But she reads it off. It's so useful too. Yeah, and you could just see Stella over in the corner by her locker, just kind of looking, but not engaging. Like she she's in it's very anticipated. To see like her reaction is and see if she even likes it. Yeah. So because um they were the two that were making out at the party. Um and that's when the episode we were like, oh my god, lesbianism. Yes. Um, so Stella is just watching from by her locker and listening to her read it. And at first, like if you take a first glance, she looks jealous. But that's what it looked like at first. But she's it's definitely not jealousy. Cause like the more you watch the whole scene happen, you're like, oh, oh no, wait, no, she did that. Like, oh, she sent it. She sent it to Frederica, which ate down. It was such a beautiful little poem. It really was. It was so good. It was beautiful. It was so good. But then we get to um gosh, August and Sarah, their whole I uh I I have no words. Um, why they were running all of a sudden beats me. Well, because they're like, Are you free right now? And so I was like, Yeah. And so then they're just like running to his place, and he's like, Oh my god, hurry up. Yeah. She's like, I'm on my way. Like, bro, they're so cringe. I can't. But uh, anyways, they ended up back at the place, have their whole sexy ass moment, whatever. Um, we get a whole huge piece of August ass. Um, this actually jump scare. You weren't even looking at first. I remember because it they stayed on it for so long. I looked up, I said, Oh, and then you weren't looking, I said, Meredith. I looked up, I said, Oh god. It just came out of nowhere. Because he he was getting a phone call from the royal, and he he was just still naked, and all we see is ass. Yeah. And I and I was like And like I said, they stayed on that for a hot second. It wasn't like a one-second little glimpse. I mean it was five whole seconds. It was a long, it was a long time. At least it felt like a long time. It did feel like a long time. I was like, can we like not see this, please? I I don't know if I can see this right now. But um he gets he gets a call from the royal court, and they're basically like, yeah, so um you're gonna have to enlist in military training next year, and this is part of your 10-year plan. The way that there is no introduction at all. They said, Hey, um, by the way, it's us, so you need to do this, this, this, this, this, this, this. We're gonna need your uh social media from the past 10 years. Um, you haven't impregnated anybody, have you? And he was like, uh no. They're like, Do you have any uh venereal diseases? No. Like they're they they just get straight to the point. And you can tell he's completely blindsided by the 10-year uh plan. Because he's even like, did you just say 10 years? Yeah. And they're like, yes. And he's like, um, the fuck? So he's talking to the phone and they're like, Alright, uh, do you do any drugs, drinking, alcohol, you know, any of that stuff? And he's like, no, like, bro, be so for real. Come out of all those things, that's at least one you could be truthful about. No, for real. And so they're like, Yeah, we need your social media passwords, we're gonna go through all your social media, blah blah blah blah. And I like if that was me, I'd be like, um, so I actually don't want to do this anymore. No, literally. I'd be like I I forfeit. I don't I plead the fit. The craziest question was, are you sure you're completely heterosexual? Yes! And he was like, Yes, only girls. He's like, I just like girls. And I was like, What a fucking question. I was like, so that is a direct hit. So the royal court has PTSD from Wilhelm, um, clearly. Which is fine. But also, that was so for us to watch that during Pride Month, that was kind of homophobic. Like, it's like, um, so the month is June. And you're telling me, what? Okay. And after he gets off the phone, Sarah can tell that he's definitely stressed about something, and she's kind of like, what's going on? What's going on? He pulls out his meds. He didn't even say anything to her, he just pulls out his pods. Yeah, and Sarah's like, boy, you ain't you don't got no ADHD. She was like, Why are you taking those if you don't have ADHD? And he's like, Oh, you know, plastic and whatever. Yeah, help you to help me focus. And she's like, Well, you don't need help focusing if you don't have ADHD. Yeah. But then he's like, Alright, I'm gonna tell you something, but you can't tell anyone else, and you're the only one who knows. And she's like, Okay. And he's he just like I I can't. He's just like, yeah, I I'm I'm Villem's backup. Honestly, I was so shocked that he said anything to her. I know. To be honest, I know he's kind she's been kind of his like, I'm gonna tell you things, and kind of in like his little support system, but I was still shocked that he said that to her. Like, it very, very stable. Mm-hmm. She's been very stable for him. Yeah. Which is good because it keeps him from doing dumb bullshit. Not really, unfortunately. Well, well, it kinda helps. It kinda helps, but I mean she's definitely been stable, stable for him for sure. Yes. But he's still crashed out. He's still crashing out all the time. And I was just like, um, the fuck? So then after that, he's like, we should go to the ball together. And she's like, okay. You can tell she was hesitant at first. She was, because she knows she's gonna get in so much fucking trouble with Felice. Yes. Like you have you have the best of friends now, but you're choosing to be with this man. This guy that completely fucked over not only your brother, but but Wilhelm. Yes. And also Felice. You know all of it and you choose to still be with him. You choose to still be with him. So what does that say about you as a person? No, that's all I call genuinely. And I can I can tell she like maybe feels guilty about it because that's what she's like, oh, you know, I don't know. But then she like eventually agrees, and I was just like, girl, come on. Like, this is this is not real life. I I genuinely apparently it is. Because it makes me so mad. I'm like, ain't no way, bro. No, literally, and then it cuts to everyone getting ready for the ball, and Volum's getting ready by himself, and he has like he has tears in his eyes, and he's like low-key. I almost started crying. I can't take it when he cries. I was like, bro, it's okay. It's okay, man. Don't worry. Like, like it was just really sad. Like he should have been ready by himself, and just and then August is setting up this man. He was setting up a whole like romantic romantic date before before the ball for Sarah. Because I guess they had planned that she would come over and they'd go to it together, right? Mm-hmm. And he he was like setting all this up and he was really excited about it, and then he gets a text back, and she's like, I actually can't go with you. The way I would actually crash out at that, because what do you mean? Like the night of? The night of, are you serious? Like an hour or whatever before. Are you serious? No, literally, like, literally, fuck off. That would make me so mad. Like, I don't like August, but like that he didn't deserve that. No, I was like, deserve that shit. I was like, bro, are you serious right now? She she makes me mad. I just I can't. But then Marcus fucking pulls up in a suit, small place, and he's like, Yeah, you know, I thought I'd just dress as a waiter, we could go to the to the ball together. Like, um I thought you didn't want to do that. Right. Like, but changing the bigger thing. I would often be confused. And and Smoone's just sitting there like looking at this fish, and he's like, Okay. And so he starts getting ready. And this this part is so important. Yes. It's literally my favorite, favorite thing in this show so far. And it's so silly and stupid. But it's the fish. It's the fact that Marcus is like, oh, what are your fish's names? Like, what are their names?
SPEAKER_01Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_00And Simone was like, they don't have any names. Mind you, when Wilhelm came over and asked, Simone was so excited to share all their names. And he said all every last one of them. And he was able to point out which fish was which. Even though they all look very similar. Yes. Which means he did not care. The symbolism symbol symbolism of those fish is so important to me because it it just really shows you that Simone really could care less about Marcus. Like to the T. He couldn't care. He couldn't care less. Yeah. Yeah. Um, because you just like sorry. She's being really mean to me, guys. I'm not being mean. I'm sorry, guys. I feel like I'm part of the club now. Anyways. I told her I'd put right in. Yeah, see? She's a bitch. Anyways, moving on. Whoa! That's a little far. No, it's not. Anyway, we're at the ball now. Sarah, Sarah pulls Stella aside. She's like, I know you wrote the letter. And Stella was like freaking out. She's like, you can't tell anyone. And Sarah was like, I'm not gonna tell anyone. But uh why why don't you just tell her? Like, why why are you keeping this secret? And she's basically saying how she rather just be best friends with her for the next two years than have then then break up and have an ex that she never talks to ever again. Yeah, because they've been friends since like childhood. Uh-huh. So they've been friends for their entire life, basically. Yeah, and so she was like, I'd rather be secretly in love than have her be my ex who hates me. Yep. And that's like damn. And that's so sad. Like, bro. And so I was like, well, you know, what if she feels the same way? And she's like, yeah, but you know, what if we break up? Yeah. Like she doesn't even try to picture that happy thought. No, I'm like she just sees all the bad things that come from it. Which, you know, that's valid. Totally valid. Totally valid. Um and then Simone and Marcus pull up, but as soon as they pull up, Simone's looking at Villem. Just in the Always. Always, always looking at him. Always uh gosh. And so he's like, hey Marcus, how about how about we go dance? Yeah. And Marcus is like, okay. And Felice pulls Villem over to dance with them. Because you can see that. You know, because Simone's there. Yeah. And she's like, Alright, come dance with us. And so they're dancing. And everyone everyone's just having a good time. Everyone's just, you know. And then August likes to show up. Oh my god. He finally pulls up. And of course he decides to wreak havoc. Always. Because Sarah is n not currently with him and uh said no to him, and he's spiraling a little bit. So he goes up to Alexander and he's like, hey, just so you know, Villem uh made sure you fell, you were, you were you fell for the fellows. Like he was all for Simone and everything. He he wasn't gonna vote for you or whatever. And August is like, I'm the only one who voted against him by the way. So just know you're real friends. And I was like, you're not even a real friend. Fuck you. Literally. August literally fuck off. Uh uh. Legitimately, like, I I understand that you're hurt, but at the same time, like when he's hurt, he goes and hurts other people. Yes, and it's so fast too. And I'm like, you could calm down and think for yourself. Like he just doesn't even two seconds. He doesn't even think about it. He just does it. Yes. And then he doesn't even think about the repercussions. Yes. I'm just like, bro, you can't be doing this shit. Also, what do you think the whole like condition or whatever that he has where he looks at himself in the mirror like that? It's so freaky. Which one? When you when August just looks at himself in the mirror. Like he does that all the time. Like, what kind of condition is that where you just like constantly have to f it's almost like you have to fake your feelings and I think he's trying to hype himself up. Cause it's so weird. I think he's self-conscious. So I think he just does it to hype try and like talk himself up. Yeah. Like I don't think I don't think it's a condition. I I think I think it's just him trying to like calm himself down or be like, okay, you you can do this. You got this buddy. That's literally him in the mirror. You got this buddy. You can do it. You can do it. Jack Jack! Okay. Go go wreak havoc. You can do it, man. That's what he's held himself in the mirror. But but then uh Smone and Marcus go into the other room, they're like eating food. Yeah, getting a drink while that jazz, and Wilhelm comes over. And he just starts talking. Specifically starts talking to Marcus, and he's like, Hey, how are you? He's just like being nice. Yeah. Literally, there's no intention behind. He just like, hey, like, how's the shooting range going? You know, right. And then Marcus is like, oh, you should come back. And then Mark uh Wilhelm's like, oh yeah, like you should come too, looking at Simon. Or Simone. And Simone's just like, mmm, it's not really my thing. Like, psh bitch. Like, bro, genuinely. I I can't. I I I genuinely can't with them. Like the this is just it's starting to become too much. Yeah. Because Well then they're walk well then they're walking away then, and uh Marcus is saying to Simone, he's like, he's like, I really don't know what you're talking about, basically. He's like, he's not stuck up. Right. Seems genuinely very nice, you know. Yeah, and he's like, I gotta go to the bathroom, I'll be right back. Yeah. So then Simone and Villam run into each other, and Simone's just kind of like, So what the hell was that? Yeah. And you're like, bro, shut up. Literally, it's always so accusatory. Yes, unless He was literally just being nice. He's literally just being nice. He's like, I I was just being nice, and he's like, I I get it. Like, I you're not in love with me anymore, you're trying to move on. Like, I'm yeah, I'm gonna leave you alone. Yes. And he full and admits that and says that, and then he just walks away. Yes. Like that that's all there is to it. And because this is exactly what Simone has been telling him that he wants, even though that's not actually what Simone wants. Yes. So now Volum's giving him what he wants. Yes. And he's going outside now, getting some fresh air, leaving the situation, whatever. Right. He's just like, I I need to go outside and think. Um, because this is just it's too much. And then Sarah runs in the August, bro. And I I kind of feel bad for him during this. I do feel bad for him, I think, in a sense. I think she's being very selfish. You can't have everything. I think it's very much one of those things where it's like you can like being with him, and that's totally okay, totally valid, but then you have to be honest with your so-called friends. Right. And right now you're not really being friends with them. No, like you're not you're not even being honest to yourself. No. So and because he was like, so it was just about sex, like right, nothing else, and she's like, no, like, I like you, and he goes, Okay. So you need to show it. Right. So he's like, so then what the hell was this? Right. Like, this is this is ridiculous. And yeah, it just really shows into honestly, like, their whole family, like Sarah's family and Simone's family.
SPEAKER_01Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_00They're very like non-confrontational people. That and they don't really take accountability for their own stuff. And I wonder if part of that is because of their dad, like how they grew up with him, and him being an alcoholic, and him being the same way. Yeah. So I wonder if some of that rubbed off on them. Yeah. And I feel like the mom was never really around because she had to work, you know, she had to work really hard to get away and all that. So I feel like it was like kind of unknowingly rubbing off on them. Right. Which, again, not an excuse. No, no. But it's it's telling you why. She's an understanding of their characters like that. At the at the very core of August, he just wants to be accepted for himself. Cause he he also doesn't really have anyone. Like everyone everyone's there, but at the same time, yeah, he's still by himself. Yeah. So I I mean I get it. I understand, but at the same time. So then he goes away, he's done, he's like, I'm out of here. No, for real. And everything. She goes back with her friends. Um, but then we get to Simone then and he's like, I need to coming outside. He's like, I need to go check up on the choir. And which clearly he doesn't do because they're like, Simone, where's Simone at? Look, Mark Marcus here. Okay. Yeah. And so Simone goes outside and he finds Wilhelm. And Wilhelm is it kind of looks like he's trying to like run away from him almost. Like when he's like walk he's like turning around because he heard that his like Willie, he he knows that his name was called, he's like, and saw him, and it looked like he was almost running away at first. I think or trying to walk fast away. He's like, oh no, like let me that or I I feel like he was trying to see where the sound like hear where the sound was coming from. I don't know. I feel like I feel like I feel like he was trying to ski ski away. Because I think he saw him right away. Oh really? Yeah. Because the way he turned around, he turned around, looked, and then continued to walk forward. Yeah. So anyways, Simone approaches Philly and he's like, you know, I'm just trying to move on, blah blah blah. And Villem's like, yeah, I see that. Like, obviously, that's why I'm giving you the space. That's what I'm saying. That's why I said what I said, and that's why I'm not there. Like, go back inside, bro. Go back inside, bruh. Like, what why are you following me? Like, genuinely, what literally this guy is giving me whiplash. Like, if this was if I was Villem, I'd be like, okay. We're done here. Genuinely, what the fuck do you want? Because this is pissing me off. Um, and they're kind of like just looking at each other. And they get closer, they get closer, and then they it's important to note here that it's Simone that does it for Simone initiates the kiss, which is important. Because if it was Wilhelm, that you know, it would be Simone that'd be like, You did this to me. You just know it would pop up. No, you know it would pop up later. If you're like, well, I came out there just to talk to you and you kissed me. Well, no, bitch, you didn't. You didn't well and that also shows that Simone is not over him. Never was. No, he wasn't. So Simone, Simone, and it's just a kiss, and they're kissing for a good a good couple seconds. Yes. And they start smiling at each other and they kiss him again. It's very cute. And then all of a sudden they hear them, like the people inside, calling Simone, like, Simone, we have the choir. And it's it's Marcus that's outside yelling for him, which is awkward. Um, so then Simone's like, oh shit. So then he like runs up, and Marcus is like, What are you doing? And he's like, I was just getting some fresh air. And then he looks back and he sees Vilhelm walking up the steps, and he's like, Yeah, he's not he's not stupid. He's not stupid. So then they're inside and the choir singing. Simone gets his little moment, he does his little solo moment, and uh Villaham just looks so happy. He's just so happy. Like, I feel like I I wrote down that it looks like he's like almost so happy that he's gonna cry. And Simone keeps looking at him when he's singing, and like you can tell when he looks at Marcus versus oh yeah, Villem because when he looks at Marcus, his face like drops, but then when he looks at Villem, he's like all smiley and stuff, blah blah. And Marcus is definitely picking up on it. He's just kind of like, mmm. Like I wrote, Marcus may be an ugly rant. He's not a dumb rant. And we're talking about the character. We're not talking about the actual Yes. No, this is all this is all TV related. This is all TV related. So anyway, they kissed. And Marcus is definitely picking up on something. And Wilhelm and Simone are giddy and giggling. And yeah. I mean, you know it's the end of the episode, but at the end of the day, um, you really know it's just not gonna it's not gonna last. Truly. Whatever this little happiness that they have, you just know it's gonna keep going back and forth. Because that's the way of um that's the way of Simone. Let's just say that is that's just the way of the show. Yeah. Which is unfortunate. Yeah, but now that I actually think about it, I don't think I ever saw the third season. Really? I don't think I did. Hmm. The third season's definitely my favorite. Can I hate the second season? Can I ask something? I don't want it to ruin anything. Does it end happy? Wait, do you actually want me to answer it? Yes. Like truly? Yeah. Yes. Oh, oh sh I was gonna tell you to whisper in my ear. Oh. No, people can know. Oh, thank god. Oh I was like, I I don't know if I can handle anything else, man. I didn't let me just put it this way. I didn't think it was going to be a happy ending. Oh. Yeah. Put that into your head. Okay, yeah. Um, I I don't think I watched the third season though. Girls, that's a while. I literally watched it the second it came out. I said, oh I think I think I added it to my to-do, and then I just never watched it. Your to-do just became to don't. To don't. Well, that's when I I was going through a lot of mental stuff. Yeah. Also, it came out it came out when I was studying abroad. So I think I was like, oh yeah, I'll watch it, and then I totally forgot about it. Yeah. And then I just never watched it. So anyway, that is episode four Um of season two. Yeah. So I hope you enjoyed it. Um I somewhat enjoyed it. Yeah, like I said, it was better than any other episode. It was better than the other three episodes of the season. And I think the season gets a little bit better. I'm trying to remember in my head, but I think it does. It's been such a blur. I think it gets a little bit better, but then it probably goes downhill in the season three. Honestly, if I'm being honest from what I remember, I don't think any season two is very good. And then season three is where it kind of Yeah. Yeah. Okay. I think that maybe the last episode like the last 20 minutes of season two. I think I rem I think I remember the last, yeah, like 20 minutes of the very last episode. Yeah. And I'm just like, oh, oh, there it is. I literally said, oh, yeah. So I think I think that's the only part of season two that's actually like Whoa. That's actually like holy shit. Yeah. And then season three is like what you said. It's kind of like a like a healing, um, kind of. Okay. Yeah. Well then I'll be more excited for that. Cause this is this is genuinely pissing me the fuck off. Oh yeah. No, the entire thing pisses me off. Like, genuinely, every time I come down here, I just know I'm about to be pissed off. I will say though, probably in season three, you're probably still gonna be pissed this month, to be honest. I mean, when am I not? I don't ever genuinely remember being this mad at him before. I don't know if it's because I'm older now. It's because our frontal lobes are gonna be a good one. Yeah, because before I remember I'd be annoyed, and then I'd be like, oh well, yeah, I would hate to be secret. But then I don't know, yeah, frontal lobe developed, and I'm like, oh shit, I could be a secret, I don't know. Like now now that I my I have that frontal lobe developed, I'm just kind of like okay. You know what? get over it, figure it out. Yeah, I'm just like, you know what? Someone let me fuck off. Yeah. Like genuinely fuck off. Like I just I'm like, I don't understand the will when they truly be. I don't either. I mean, when I first watched it, I was like, ugh, how dare you? But now that I'm older, I'm just like, oh. Yeah, valid. Valid. Crack out's valid. This crack out's valid. So but we'll see what continues to happen for season two. Yeah. Um so follow us on Instagram. I think I forgot to post for our last episode. They're probably like, whoa. We're so bad at this. It's hard when our schedules don't line up ever. I know. And um, so anyways, I'll I'll try and post something on there. I'll post the last one too, I suppose. Um just so it's on there, so there's some sort of order. Um, but our Instagram is at tis the season pod. And then our email is at tis the season podcast at outlook.com. I said the at at the wrong part. That's okay. I think. Anyways, I haven't checked the email in a while. I the last email we got was from Outlook itself. Oh guys were so popular. Outlook really said we got your girl. I literally said, oh, a notification! And I went and looked at it, it was fucking Outlook. I was like, fuck you guys, man. You have my hope stuff in for what? Literally for what, man. Send us an email, we'd appreciate it. We'd we'd look at it actually. Yeah, for real. And we would respond. We would respond. I would. I'd be like, whoa. Because I I l I think I have the Outlook app. Yeah. So I just don't think I have the notifications turned on for it. But anyways, um, we will see you guys next week. Yes. Alright.
