Hello everyone, welcome to From the Table Podcast. We are here in an undisclosed nation, in an undisclosed city for Friends Around the Table, Asia Pacific. And I'm here with two incredible friends and parts of SEAPC that uh we treasure, and that is Pastor Moses and Pastor Noel. And they represent India and Nepal, which is such a unique part of the world, a powerful part of the world, where the new age movement, where there has been a very supernatural presence in both of these nations, and most of all for Jesus Christ. And could you share with us from your heart um the unique dynamics between the two nations and what you believe God is doing? Because uh at a table, we're not better than, we're not bigger than, we have unique roles. But I know India is like a big brother to Nepal. Uh so maybe you could explain to our audience just a little bit about how God's working between us.

First of all, JP, I would like to thank you for allowing us helping us be a part of the table. That really means a lot. And uh when we talk about Nepal and India, like you said, uh we are close by, we are neighbors, but more than that, I believe with all of my heart we are brothers, we are friends, and I believe that God has called us to be that friends of each other. And friends are people who come alongside each other, that we are not competitive, we are not like we are better than you, you are better than us, or maybe you are lesser than us, or we are better than you. It's not that, but it's brothers, it's friends who come alongside each other and say, let's do what we can for the kingdom of God. And that's what I believe has been happening the past few years between India and Nepal. Wow. And apart from that, in the last few years of when I've been working with Noel and with you, with what God has been doing through NYG is incredible. And NYG is it is the national youth um gathering, yes, NYG. So with that, I believe God is definitely getting into Nepal like never before. And more than anything else, God is touching the youth who play a significant role in what God has for Nepal because the next generation is what is going to take Nepal to the next level. Yes. And we have experienced and we have seen what has happened by the power of the youth in the last year. They literally stripped down the city naked, but we believe that our God is a God who restores. And if we can believe for God to work in the youth through the NYG, and that is something that we are already doing. And you have been speaking into the leaders of every province in the last one year. And I believe with all of my heart that all your inputs and all the speaking, the Remah speaking of the word of God into these youths, into these leaders, will not only remain with them, but it will be like a stone thrown in the water that causes ripples to grow across to the ends of the of Nepal.

Beautiful. And how do you see India? So he shared Nepal. Can you share India? What does India mean to you? What does the Church of India mean to you as a Nepal?

First of all, thank you so much for having us in the post but in this podcast. Um as Brother Moses said, that we are not different, we have the same culture, we are brothers, and uh we are working together uh for the extension of God's kingdom in uh Nepal. Um India is like a big brother to Nepal. So we learned so many things from India, and um um I'll just want to add a few things about NYZ, what's going on in Nepal uh regarding NYZ. NYZ is a national youth gathering. Uh it started in 2016, and the name was given only in 2017. Actually, the vision came from you only when you first visited Nepal in 2009, and you had the vision to serve the youth of nation, uh youth youth of Nepal. Um, and that's how we began. And in between, we um we got connected with India, and then we're working together. Amen, amen. Even last year we we were planning to have very um good gathering, but uh due to some political issues, we could not able to we'll get to that in a moment. Okay, yeah. So that's how we're working together. So India and Nepal, we are working together. India is a big brother, it's is India is like a uh guardian to us in the stance enough.

That brings me to uh what is a hot topic in the news all over the world right now. Uh last last year was in Nepal, this year it's in India. Uh both of your nations have had uprisings that are youth generated. Yes, Gen Z uh generated. Yeah. And so when we're talking about the youth and all of this that we just discussed, and we've been partnering together, it's really coming to a head. I mean, we're seeing uh change at its strongest point coming through the youth saying uh we must see a new hope for our nation, we must see a future. So in Nepal last year we had a Gen Z uprising that changed the government.

It was riots in the streets. There was enough is enough. You know, there was a massive call for change to open the nation for a future, and and they responded. There's a new leadership, they're and we'll see, we're praying for them. But now in India, you know, now the big brother is experiencing that, and that's all over the news as well. And there's a whole movement. The the largest online movement of people in the world right now is happening through uh this particular uprising, which is based on an insect. I will not say the name, uh, but you can check it out for yourself. Yes. Uh, but there is a movement of change driven by the youth. Yes. Can you just give us a minute each on your reflections of why this is happening and how people can pray for Indian Nepal's future?

The Bible says, JP, the kingdom of God suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. That's what comes to my mind when I hear of that. And I also remember this apart when we think of that, that the Bible also says, remember the creator in the days of your youth. And I think the youth is the strength of an ox. That's how a strength of a horse. And the youth are rising like never before, be it Nepal, be it India, they want their voice to be heard. That's what is on their mind. They are saying, don't take us for granted. It's not just the old ones who want to do, it's not the old ones who run to run, want to run the country. Like we've seen in Nepal a young ruler coming in, a young person coming to power. And with that, I definitely see India's not behind. We see the people, the young people especially wanting and want their voices to be heard, want that they they will uh be heard of what they want. And uh they they want to show that they have power. And we uh uh when we see the statistics, almost 60% of the population of any country for that matter is the youth. Yeah, and they are the next generation.

700 million. Yes, I I heard the other day, uh or youth in India. 700 million is what we're talking about.

Yes. So they want their voice to be heard, and I believe that God is definitely interested in them. Yes, and He wants to get into their lives, and He wants to do a great work through them. And I believe that's already started. It's just a matter of time that they will know the truth and the truth will set them free.

When you get stirred for change, yes, the ultimate change is in the kingdom of heaven. Amen. Amen. Wow, what a moment to pray for India, okay? Guys, this is this is live and this is happening now. Amen. Nepal, so Nepal, you've experienced this a little bit. Yeah, you're a little bit further down the road. What is your hope? What do you see uh coming out of all of it?

I've seen it with my eyes. Okay, I uh when when we're having this podcast, the visualism in into my eyes. Uh when the protest happened, when I went to the roof and I saw you know the city covered with smoke almost everywhere. It's covered with very you know dark smoke and it's it was very scary. But uh um but it changed a lot, okay. Not only in the secular point of view, not only in the political, but also in the Christian world. Okay, inside Nepal, you know, the youths are coming up. So youths are raising their voice, and youth want the nation to know about Christ. That's what's going on. Yeah.

So it was a shift. Yeah. And I believe it's through prayer.

Yeah, it's it's through prayer.

It's through prayer. Yeah. That the Lord's the Lord brings justice for the oppressed. Yeah. And his way of doing it for both nations is is in the young that have not settled, that have not said, we're just gonna do it, same old thing, same old thing. Imagine the implications of this for the global church. The largest population on the earth, one of the most strategic spiritual hubs on the earth, having awakenings that are generated through Gen Z. Guys, we really please, I call we call you to prayer, we call you to to go. Uh, there's many opportunities through SCAPC to visit both of these nations. And uh, but most of all, if we can pray, because this is this is prime time. This is prime time for the for the transformation of India and Nepal, which are have been rooted in religious tradition that that could come into real relationship with Jesus Christ, then the youth would drive that. Thank you both. Honored to be your friend. Amen. And uh we look forward as a community to serving and praying for India and Nepal together.

Thank you so much. On that note, JP, can we just pray right now? Please. Father, in Jesus' name, Almighty God, we just want to thank you for this privilege and honor, oh God. While we, oh God, as points of contacts represent our nations, Lord, we unite our hearts together, oh God. We unite our hands together, signifying agreement and unity. And we believe that there is power in agreement and unity. Father, you said, ask, and I will give you the nations. This time, Lord, people might be seeing it later, but Lord, when they see it, I pray that your power will be present and they will agree with us and ask for the nations of India and Nepal that they will never be saved. They will never be the same, they will never be the same, but they will be saved. And we plead the blood of Jesus all over India and Nepal in Jesus' name. Jesus' name. Amen.
