Good afternoon and welcome back to our Current Let's Pray Ministries. I'm so glad you all tune back in this afternoon. And I want to take a few moments with you today to talk about something simple but deeply powerful. Amen. Praying with faith and confidence. Because if we're honest, prayer can sometimes feel uncertain, right? We pray but we wonder. We ask but we hesitate. It's just the flesh. We hope, but we're not always sure on what God is doing in our life. And into that space, Scripture speaks clearly. Whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours. Amen. That's a bold statement that we need to believe whatever we ask in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ's name. And we believe we shall receive it. It will be ours if we would only just believe. Not because it's about getting everything that we want when we praying, like gimme, gimme, gimme, but it's because it's about the posture of belief. We have to believe that we serve an awesome God. We have to believe that we serve a God that cannot fail. We have to believe that we serve a God that cannot lie. Amen. Faith isn't just about words spoken into the earth, it's about trust in the one who hears them. Amen. And then we're invited in even deeper when God knows that we don't win all in in our prayers. Scripture tells us, let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in the time of need. Amen. I'm so glad. I'm so grateful that with confidence I can draw to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ's throne of grace and mercy. And I can receive mercy and I can find favor to help me in my time of need. There's been many times when I was younger, young and dumb. And I mean, you know, they're gonna repo the car. And I was so nervous, and all night long I couldn't sleep. I'm looking out the window and I'm saying, Lord, help me. Lord, I'm coming to you. I have no other words, but I know you said that if I asked anything in your name, you will hear and answer my prayer. And God, I don't know how, but I need you to pay this car. No, and I need you to keep that car right there in that parking lot. And I mean, day in, day out, all I can say was, help me, God. Help me, Lord. That's all I could say. They never came and got the car, and God bless me with the money to pay it. So I'm telling when you go to the Lord with confidence and let him say, I need help. I done screwed this thing up. I believe you can help me out of this mess, but give me wisdom not to fall back into it, right? I want you to understand the word confidence. When you go with confidence, I'm not saying go to God being arrogant. I'm not saying go to God and being entitled. I'm not saying go to God like He owes us something, right? I'm saying go with confidence. The kind that says, I can come to God with my need and not be rejected. I can come with my weakness and not be turned away. I have learned that on my journey that we can come to Christ for anything. We are human. We're gonna fall a thousand times, but our God is gonna pick us up every single time. And this is why I want you to know there is power in prayer. I want you to know that prayer changes things. A lot of people carry the idea that they have to clean themselves up before they can come to God, that they have to sound right, feel right, walk right, and be right before they come to God. But the invitation is very different, and I'm a witness to that. Come boldly, come honestly, come in your need. God wants our brokenness, God wants to put us back together again. God said in his word, if you ask anything according to his will, he hears us, right? That brings a balance to our faith because confidence in prayer is not about demanding outcomes, it's about trusting alignment, right? It's the learning to say, God, I want what you want from me. Even when I don't fully understand it, we have to surrender and submit to God's wants over our life. We want a lot of things. And I know I keep saying, Lord, if you want to give me a million dollars, I do right by you. But we need to put our wants to the side and say, God, what do you have for us? God, what is it that you want to change in our life? What is you want to change in our thought process? God, we want what you want. Whatever you think in heaven, Heavenly Father, we want that same thought to fall fresh on our life, right? We need that kind of prayer life that will shift the things around us and change the things within us because we want alignment with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen. You know, when we have power in our prayers, it moves us from anxiety into trust. When we believe, when we pray, it takes us from striving into surrendering before our Lord. And when we move from fear into peace, there's nothing like it. There's nothing like the peace of God, which surpasses all our understanding. It's not saying that everything is perfect, it's just saying God gives us peace to get through it. So, what does praying with faith actually look like in real life? Let me tell you, it looks like praying even when you don't feel strong. It looks like speaking to God even when your emotions are loud. It looks like choosing belief over doubt again and again and again. This journey we have to choose. God ain't gonna force feed us, he ain't gonna beg us. We have to choose to believe, we have to choose to pray, we have to choose to speak to God one-on-one because he is our Father. And I want you to know, faith does this. When you pray in confidence, when you truly believe, you can feel God moving on the inside of you, you can hear God a whole lot clearer when you be still and you're walking by faith. And I want you to remember that whatever you're praying is already done. He is doing a new thing, he's doing a great thing in your life. And so this is an invitation for you to stop holding back in prayer. I want you to bring your full request unto the Lord. I want you to bring the real need, the real you to his throne. I want you to bring your open and honest heart unto the Lord. And when you do all of that, turn around and trust what you done laid down at his feet, not in your ability to pray perfectly, because we all stumble when we pray, because we don't know what to pray. The Bible even said we pray and we don't even know what we need prayer for. This is why we need the Holy Spirit to guide us in prayer. This is why we need the Lord to teach us how to pray. And sometimes if I can't pray over myself, I say, Lord, please pray over me because I don't know what else to say over myself, I don't even know what else to think right now. I just need you to speak over my life. Pray for me, God, because you know exactly what I need. I want you to know scripture tells us that God hears us. He is attentive to us, he is responding to us. God is present, he is not distant, he ain't distracted. God is omnipresent, meaning he's everywhere at one time. God is with me, he's with you, he's listening, he's changing things for our good. So I want you to be encouraged today to pray boldly, pray honestly, and pray with confidence, not because you control the outcome, but because you are not praying alone. Amen. I'm praying with you, God is praying with you, the Holy Spirit is above you, praying through you. I want you to truly pray from the depths of your soul, pray from your spirit, and just surrender before his throne. Let us go to the Lord in prayer. Heavenly Father, our God, how excellent is your name. We come before you with gratitude for your word and the constant reminder that we can draw near to you with confidence. Heavenly Father, we thank you that you are not distant, but you are very near to us. We thank you, oh God, for that. You are gracious, you are not silent, you are very attentive to the prayers of your people. And I thank you, oh God, for always listening to our prayers and responding in your timing. Holy Father, I ask you to strengthen our faith right now, oh God. Where the doubt has crept into our thoughts, please replace it with trust. Please replace it with words of reassurance that you are with us, Holy Father. Where fear has taken root, replace it with peace, oh God. Give everybody peace which surpasseth all their understanding, oh God. I pray. Teach us all how to believe you more deeply, Holy Father. Holy Father, not because we always seeking the outcome, but because we know your character is faithful and true. God, we want to grow with you. We want to abide in you. We want to follow you. We want to listen to you. We want to serve you, God. So help us pray according to your will and your way. Align our desires, oh God, with your heart. Align our desires with your spirit, oh God. Shape our thoughts, our hopes, and our requests so that they reflect your wisdom and love, Heavenly Father. And when we come to you, oh God, remind us that we are welcomed. You're not shutting the door, you're not putting earmuffs on, so you ain't got to hear us, God. You listen to every prayer, every day, every second, every minute. And we thank you for that, oh God. And let every listener today know that they can approach your throne of grace without hesitation, receiving mercy and finding help in every need, Holy Father. God, I'm praying that you truly, truly build our confidence when we pray, oh God. Not confidence in ourselves, but confidence in you, the God who hears, the God who sees, and the God who answers our prayers in perfect timing. God, we surrender our worries, we surrender our thoughts, we will surrender our won't tell me, Father, because we choose to trust you afresh today, oh God. Hallelujah. We bless your name, oh God, because we surrender, we surrender, we surrender, all Heavenly Father. We trust you, oh God, in this very moment. We trust you, oh God, because you are with us. You said you would never leave us nor forsake us, oh God. God, we have faith that everything's gonna be all right. We have faith to know that you bring us back to you, perfect and whole in your eyesight. God, we praise you right now for being a great father. We praise you right now for being the ultimate healer. We praise you right now for being the God who is the creator of all things. You said I own every cattle on the heal, God, and we thank you for that. For whatever we need, we just gotta lay it at your feet and say, God, here is my need, and trust that you are gonna hear and answer our prayers. God, we thank you so much for this day. We thank you so much for your love. And God, we thank you so much for this prayer. Amen. Thank you all for tuning in. I hope you all have a great lunch hour. Let the Lord speak to you. Go to Him in confidence, go to Him boldly, make all your requests known, and let God respond to you. Meaning, once you pray, be still to listen from the Lord. Don't just pray and run off, but pray and listen to the Lord. Amen. I'm praying that you fill with joy today. I pray that you fill with reassurance today. I pray that you're filled with happiness today. There's so much going on in this world today that people are losing their hope. People are losing their smells, people are losing their joy. And I'm here to tell you that God can restore all things. And I pray that your frown turns into a smile. I pray that God gives you more faith to trust and believe in Him. Amen. Until we meet again tomorrow, have a blessed day. Smell more today than what you did yesterday, I pray. Walk with the Lord upright and know trouble don't last always. Thank you for tuning in to our Curvat Let's Pray Ministries. Have a blessed day. Talk to you all tomorrow.
