Life, it's a word we use almost every day, but rarely stop to examine. Sometimes life feels clear and then other days life feels or can feel uncertain, heavy, and even confusing.

This episode is talking about finding meaning and praying for God to speak.

Good evening and welcome back to Occarless Pray Ministries. May God's grace and peace be with you wherever you are in this moment, whether you're in a place of peace or a place of pressure. This moment is just for you. Today we're going to be talking about moments of life finding meaning in the everyday. Amen. Let us go to the Lord in prayer before we start. Heavenly Father, we come before you as humble as we know how. Grateful for another day that was not promised, but given to us by your grace, love, and mercy. And for that, oh God, we say thank you. Thank you for the gift of life today. Thank you for the breath in our lungs and purpose in our steps. As we gather in this moment, quiet our hearts and open our minds, Helling Father. Help us to hear what we need and help us to be still to feel your presence. And please remind us that we are never alone in this journey called life. God, this time, O God, I pray. God, this conversation, I pray. God, every listener to respond to you, O God, I pray. Let this moment be more than just words, but let it be transformation of our hearts. It's in your name we pray. Jesus, amen. We are back for another episode. And like I stated before, this title is Moments of Life. Finding meaning in the everyday. Life is a word we use every day, but rarely stop to truly examine. Life isn't just the big moments, it's the milestones, it's the victories, it's the turning points. Life is also the quiet mornings, the unanswered questions, the waiting seasons, the ordinary days that feel like they are just a blur all together. Sometimes life feels clear, purposeful, like you're exactly where you're meant to be. Other times life might feel like it's uncertain, it's heavy, even confusion. But God said, I will not put more on you than you can bear. And if you're in this space right now, wondering what's next or why things are the way that they are, you're not alone. Let's ground ourselves in scripture and let's focus on what this scripture is saying. Proverbs 3, 5, and 6 states, trust in the Lord with all of your heart, and lean not to your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your path. Amen. That is a very powerful scripture. But if we're being honest with one another, it's always, it's not always easy. Lean not to your own understanding, that right there. But our own understanding is what we naturally rely on, right? We won't answers, we won't clarity, we won't control, we want to control, that's our biggest problem. But yet life has a way of reminding us. We don't control anything. And maybe, just maybe, that's not a weakness. Maybe it's an invitation from God. An invitation to trust Him, an invitation to surrender, an invitation to grow. Because here's something we don't always talk about. Growth in life rarely comes from comfort, it comes from stretching seasons, it comes from moments where we feel unsure. It comes from times when we have to keep going, keep pressing, even when we don't see the full picture. I want you to think about that for a moment. Some of the strongest, most grounded people you know, they didn't get there by having an easy life. They got there by walking through life, walking by faith and not by sight. Through loss, through change, through challenges that shape them. And maybe you're in one of those shaping seasons right now. And if so, don't rush it. There's something being built in you, and that you might not fully understand it right now. But I want you to focus on God's unchanging hand. I want us to talk about the power of being in his presence. Life is happening right now. Life don't stop. Life is happening right now. Not yesterday, not tomorrow, but right now. But how often do we actually live in the present moment? We replay conversations in our head. We worry about the outcomes of what's going to happen next. We carry things we were never meant to hold on to forever. This is why we have to stop and quit missing out on the beauty of right now. Focusing in on God's blessings, his love, his presence, and his word. Amen. And when we do this, we can be in his presence. When we focus on him, he gives us peace. He gives a gives us rest. The breath you just took is a blessing. It's a gift from God. The fact that you made it through something already throughout your lifetime is showing that you can make it through anything. The small progression that no one else sees, you're making big steps, and it's a blessing. Life isn't just about getting somewhere, it's about becoming someone along the way. Someone God has designed from the beginning of time. Someone stronger, someone wiser, someone more compassionate, and that takes time. God is molding us in this very second. So if you feel like you're not there yet, it's okay. Trust me, God will turn us down to build us back up beautiful than what we were before. You're not supposed to be, you're supposed to process. That's the biggest thing. We think we're supposed to be this and supposed to be that, and we're supposed to be Shiva, we're supposed to be he, man. But we are not supposed to be. We are here to process and to trust the process and let God conform us to what he will have us to be. Amen. I want to ask you this question right now. Matter of fact, ask yourself this question. What is life teaching me right now? I know for me, life is teaching me a lot of things right now. It's teaching me how to wait on the Lord, it's teaching me how to trust him in my waiting season, it's showing me how to get closer to him. Amen. Not what it is it's taking from me, because life is always gonna try to take something, and that's why you gotta say the devil's alive, right? The devil can't have my joy, he can't have my peace, he can't have my heart. We need to focus on what is life teaching me right now, and quit focusing on what is life denying me right now, and why can't this happen right now? But truly focus on what is life teaching me in this very moment. Because there is always a lesson in every waiting season, there's always a lesson in our trials and our tribulations, there's always a lesson when God is trying to transform us, amen. Sometimes life teaches patience, sometimes it teaches resilience, sometimes it teaches us to let go of what we thought we needed so we can receive what we truly need, amen. And that can be hard, it can be like climbing a mountain with no gear, right? But letting go is really easy, but holding on to the wrong things, the wrong expectations, the wrong timing. I talked about this several podcasts before. That can weigh us down in ways we don't even realize it. A paperweight holding down our papers and our mess. We have to learn how to breathe in today, in this moment. Life is inviting you to release something, release your worries, release your cares, release your fears, release the plan that didn't unfold the way you expected it to, right? But instead, trust God in this very moment. He is still working it out for you. For you. The pressure of life might try to get you down, but I'm telling you, God is for you. He is not against you. He said in his word, for I know the plans I have for you, saith the Lord. Plans to give you hope and a future. Amen. Your life is your journey. It's not a race, it's not a comparison, it's not a competition. This is a moment that was designed for you to grow. There is a timing to everything, and there's a timing to wait on the Lord no matter what. So I want you to take a deep breath. Don't you don't have to try to figure anything out today, this evening. Just take one step at a time, trusting in the Lord. Every step, walk in the faith, every step, believe that God's doing it. Every time you feel weary, look to the heels which cometh your help. Because I'm telling you, if you choose God, simply choose God, you can keep on going. Amen. Before we close, let's return to stillness for a moment. Wherever you are, just breathe. In and out. Let go of tension, let go of worry, let go of pressure. You are here right now. You are still moving forward. You are still loved. You still have grace, favor, mercy, and forgiveness on your side from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, no matter what. Amen. Let us go to the Lord in prayer. Holy Father, we thank you so much for this moment. We thank you for meeting us here in this very moment as we talk about life. Thank you for reminding us that life is not something we have to figure out alone. You are walking with us daily, you are holding our hand daily, you are picking us up daily when we cannot walk. God, you are brushing us off to be a better person, a better version of ourselves. Amen. Honey Father, we trust you more now that even when we don't understand what's going on. We trust you, oh God. Give us peace in the waiting seasons, give us strength in the challenges that we face each and every day. Honey Father, let us wake up with a grateful heart each and every day. Remembering the moments of our conquering of the things that have come our way. Remind us of the moments that you gave us the victory, Honey Father, that you healed us, oh God, that you provided for us, Honey Father, when you shielded us from our danger and harm, Honey Father. Give us a thankful heart right now, oh God, to just thank you in the middle of our life right now. Thank you, oh God, for honoring our footsteps. Thank you, oh God, for shaping our hearts. Thank you, oh God, for paving the way. Thank you, oh God, for walking this journey with us, Honey Father. Thank you, oh God, for letting us see a new perspective on our journey, Holy Father. God, we praise you right now for being an ultimate father in our life, Holy Father. Some of us didn't have a father right growing up in the physical form, but God, you have been our spiritual father, our physical father, and we thank you for that, Holy Father. We thank you, thank you, thank you, oh God, for being a mother to the motherless. We thank you, oh God, for being a father to the fatherless. We thank you, oh God, for being a friend to the friendless. God, we thank you right now for reminding us that our life is in your hands, that our life is precious and is more valuable than silver and gold. We thank you, oh God, that we are the apple of your eye. Heavenly Father, we thank you for the life that we have. We know that it's gonna get better day by day. We know that we're gonna overcome. We know that we're gonna get that breakthrough. We know we're gonna break out of bondage, we know we're gonna break out of the prison of our minds, Heavenly Father. We know if we keep on pressing by faith, moving by faith, trusting you, oh God, we know that everything's gonna work out for our good. So we say hallelujah, thank you, Jesus, for this moment, hallelujah, thank you, Jesus, for overcoming, hallelujah, thank you, Jesus, for the victory. Heavenly Father, we praise you right now for giving us the victory. We praise you right now for giving us the healing. We praise you right now for ordering our footsteps. We praise you right now, oh God, for shutting the doors that need to be shut and opening the doors that need to be open. We praise you right now for being a great God. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, amen. Amen, amen, amen. Praise be to God. Thank you for spending this time here with me in the Lord. Thank you for listening. Spread this podcast to other people that need to hear a word each and every day. Wherever you are in life right now, life will find you today. And that's okay. You keep on going, you keep on pressing ahead, you keep knowing that your path has purpose on it. Your path has been destined from the Lord. You're gonna get to your destination, you're gonna get through and see your full potential if you would just hold on and keep taking one step at a time. Until next time, hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus.
