Good morning. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. This feels our career. Let's pray ministries. And I pray that God fills this podcast with his presence, with his grace, and with his forgiveness. Amen. I am your host, DBC, and today we're going to be talking about forgiveness. And we will be coming from Ephesians 4 and 32. We're going to pray and then we're going to get into the lesson. Amen. Heavenly Father, we come to you this morning just saying thank you. Thank you, oh God, for your love. Thank you, oh God, for your forgiveness. Thank you, oh God, for your chastisement. Thank you, oh God, for correction. Thank you, oh God, for keeping us each and every day, Heavenly Father. God, we thank you so much for our life. We thank you so much for the breath that is in our bodies. We thank you so much that you woke us up this morning. God, we thank you so much that you keep on making a way out of no way. God, we thank you, oh God, for being our hedge of protection each and every day. Holy Father, we invite you into this space this morning, I pray. Let your peace fill every listener's heart this morning. Let your word bring healing, clarity, and conviction where it is needed, oh God. Come on, Father, I'm praying that you touch hearts that are burdened this morning. Strengthen those who are weak, O God. Bring comfort to those curry in pain. And Lord, prepare us to receive your word with humility and openness. We give you this time, O God, and we ask that you be glorified in all that is said and heard. Come, Father, have your way right now. By the blood of Jesus Christ, by the power of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen. Amen. Today's scripture comes from Ephesians 4 and 32, and it states, And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake have forgiven you. Amen. May the Lord have a blessing to the hearing and the reading and the doing of his word. Today I want to talk about something we all face, how we relate to people in today's world. We live in a time where communication is fast, but understanding is often slow. People are more connected digitally but emotionally. Many feel distant, right? And in the middle of all of this, one of the hardest things to practice is forgiveness. Forgiveness is not just a spiritual concept, my brothers and my sisters. It is that daily struggle for many people. We've all done been hurt before, we've all done been misunderstood before. We've all been disappointed. And sometimes those wounds stay with us longer than what they should. Amen. Some of us are still dealing with childhood trauma, some of us are still dealing with teenage trauma, some of us are still dealing with adult trauma, amen. But holding on to pain doesn't just affect the person who caused it, it affects us. When we don't forgive, we carry that. We carry that. I'm sorry, Bab. I was just trying to go. Um, but we when we don't forgive, we carry what we were never meant to hold, right? And I want you to know that sometimes God's calling us to forgive so we can breathe. He's telling us to forgive so we can move on to the next chapter in our life. He's telling us to forgive so we can move on. Amen. We can't move on if we keep holding on and we keep holding on to grudges and pain and hurt. Sooner or later in life, we have to let go and forgive. Whether we're forgiving ourselves, forgiving someone else, or asking God to forgive us, right? We need to forgive and ask for forgiveness and walk in forgiveness, amen. Is there someone out there that needs forgiveness? And if it is, what is holding you back from forgiving them, right? I want you to know sometimes the barrier to forgiveness is not what the other person did, it's what we are still feeling: pain, pride, fear, or even unresolved emotions. But forgiveness is not about saying what happened was okay, it is about releasing yourself from being bound to it. Amen. I want you to know in the scriptures that we read, the verse gives us a clear picture of how we are called to live. Kindness, tenderheartedness, and forgiveness. Not because people always deserve it, but because God has extended it to each and every one of us. Forgiveness frees you and me more than the other person. When we forgive, we are not excusing behavior, we are releasing ourselves from the weight of it. Amen. God's forgiveness toward us is complete, and he calls us to extend the same grace to others. So I want you to know forgiveness is not always easy, but it is always powerful. It is a decision that leads to healing even when emotions take time to follow. Let us go to the Lord in prayer. Honey Father, in the name of Jesus, we come to you once again with our hearts open wide, saying thank you. Thank you, oh God, for this moment. Thank you, oh God, for your word, and thank you, oh God, for your healing. Amen. Honey Father, you see every hurt, every memory, every wound that is still affecting us. And God, I'm asking on this morning that you will give us the strength to forgive, oh God. Teach us how to forgive as you have forgiven us and help us to release hurt, anger, resentment, and bitterness that we have carried for so long. Give us the courage to let go of what we cannot change and trust you with what remains. Amen. Heavenly Father, heal the places in our hearts that still ache, that are still broken, Henry Father. Replace the pain with peace, replace bitterness with compassion, replace heaviness with freedom. Heavenly Father, remind us daily of the grace you have shown us, oh God, and help us to extend that same grace to others, even when it is difficult. Henry Father, we choose forgiveness today, we choose to walk in peace today, we choose to walk in favor today, not in our own strength, but through yours, Henry Father. God, we surrender all to you right now. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen. Amen. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord, thank you, Lord. Thank you all for tuning in. This is our Curl Let's Pray Ministries. I hope you all have a blessed day today. And I pray that God smells upon you like never before today, and you can feel his light upon you, and you can hear a word from the Lord today. Thank you all for tuning in.
