Good morning, good morning, good morning, good morning. This is I Care Let's Pray Ministries. I am your host, DBC. Thank you all for tuning in. I'm glad you all joined me today. I am so ready to give you a lesson, word from the Lord today about a servant's heart. Amen. I want you to know that this is a space where we can be free, where we can breathe, and we can listen to what thus says the Lord. Amen. Let us go to the Lord in prayer. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you with grateful hearts. Thank you, O God, for our life, our health, and our strength, and thank you for the opportunity to gather in your presence. Heavenly Father, we invite you into this discussion. Open up our hearts, our minds, our souls, and our spirits to receive your truth and what thus says the Lord today. Teach us, O God, what it means to serve like you served. Remove pride, selfishness, and distraction from our hearts, O God. Fill us up with humility and compassion and sympathy and empathy and love, O God, I pray. And let this message, O God, speak to every listener in a personal way. We surrender this time to you, O God. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. A servant's heart. Mark 10 and 45 states, for even the Son of Man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister and to give his life a ransom for many. Amen. May the Lord have a blessing to the hearing and the reading and the doing of his word. Amen. So today, as we talk about a servant's heart, we just read that scripture where God talked about He didn't come, Jesus didn't come to serve, He didn't come to serve, He came, He didn't come to be served, He came to serve. Please forgive me. I'm tongue-tied this morning. Um, and that's what we're gonna talk about today, because sometimes it's often overlooked in today's world, and it's called service. We live in a world that often celebrates recognition and status and being seen. But true Jesus Christ living is not about being seen, it's about being having a servitude mentality, right? And it's it's not about what do I get out of this, it's about what can I do to be pleasing in God's eyesight, right? And when we truly do this for Christ and we're serving with a Christ-like mentality, we're looking at it a totally different way, right? Because Jesus demonstrated that greatness in the kingdom of God is found in humility. And in a world that is often focused on self, service becomes countercultural, right? Serving others doesn't always look big or public. Sometimes it looks like patience, it looks like silence, it looks like listening, and it looks like helping someone when no one else sees it, right? And yet those small acts reflect the heart of Jesus Christ more than what we realized. Now I want you to know that sometimes the greatest opportunities to serve are right in front of us, right? Whether it's at home, at work, in the community, in our school system, or even just a simple conversation. God presents so many different opportunities for us to serve Him in spirit and in truth. But sometimes we miss them when we are solely focused on ourselves. Service is not about recognition, it is about love in action. And when we serve with the right heart, we reflect Jesus Christ in a powerful way, right? And in the scripture that we read today, Jesus said he did not come to be served, he came to serve. Serving others reflect Jesus Christ's character, right? True service is not about recognition or reward, it is about love and humility. When we serve with the right heart, we reflect Jesus to the world around us, right? People will see the God in us. And every opportunity that we serve, no matter how small, is a chance to demonstrate that God still cares and God still loves and God is still speaking in our actions, right? Sometimes serving looks like giving, sometimes it looks like helping. Sometimes it just looks like being there. It's just being available as to what matters to God. Being available for his work, being available to be a servant, being available to do what's used the Lord, right? And I pray today that we all get a deeper heart to serve, to have a servant mentality, right? I'm praying that God will move and have his being in each and every one of us today. Amen. I'm praying that God will speak like never before, that God will reveal like never before, and that God will show us where we're lacking in service with him. Amen. Whether it's in the community, whether it's in the church, whether it's in our homes. I'm praying that God reveals to us today. Amen. Let us go to the Lord in prayer. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank you for your word today. We thank you for showing us the example of Jesus Christ who came to serve and not to be served. Heavenly Father, give us a servant heart this morning. A heart that is humbled, a heart that is willing, a heart that don't mind being in the background, Henry Father. A heart that does not want to seek recognition, but seeks to honor you and to glorify you. Holy Father, open up our eyes to see opportunities to serve those around us, whether big or small. Help us not to overlook them, oh God. Holy Father, I pray that you remove pride and selfishness and hesitation from our hearts, oh God. I pray. Replace it with joy in serving and compassion and action and love in every step we take, oh God. I pray. Teach us to serve when it is inconvenient for us. Teach us to love even when it's unnoticed, noticed, Holy Father, and shape us to be more like you each and every day, oh God. I pray. God, we surrender our hearts to you, our minds to you. God, we surrender our life to you in this very moment. Move and have your being within us today, oh God, and reshape us, mold us, transform us to be servants for you. It is in your darling son, Jesus Christ's name we pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Thank you all for joining me today on our Care Less Pray Ministries.
