Good morning. Today's June the 5th. This is our current Let's Pray Ministries. And today our topic's going to be about living in obedience. I want to welcome you back. I think you all are so beautiful to keep tuning in to listen. I thank you all for smiling this morning. I thank you all for uh laughing this morning. I thank you all for being joyous this morning. Amen. I can feel it. I can feel it. Y'all just joy this morning. And I want you to know that obedience isn't always easy, but I want you to know that it's worth it. Today we're going to explore how obedience opens the door to deeper fellowship with God. Amen. And as always, we're going to pray and seek the Lord to come into this moment with us because we definitely want to hear his voice. We definitely want to feel his touch, and we definitely want him to touch all of us through this podcast. Amen. So let us go to the Lord in prayer. Heavenly Father, give us your heart's desire this morning. Heavenly Father, we are seeking for our minds to be aligned to your thoughts, for our ways to be aligned to your ways. Hun Father, we want to be pleasing in your eyesight. God, we want to thank you for gratitude this morning. We want to thank you for Thanksgiving this morning. We want to thank you for being our peace, our refuge, and our joy this morning. God, we pray that through this episode right here that you would teach us how to be obedient. Because we won't cuss, we want to be obedient to you, oh God. We want to give you glory, we want to give you honor. We want to praise you today, oh God. We're going to praise you regardless because you have been good to each and every one of us. But God, I just thank you for what you have done and what you're about to do. God, I just pray that you hear our voice today. And we pray that we can hear your voice today. Help us to believe, trust, and be obedient always. And when we fail, pick us up, brush us off, and put us back on the right road. Lord, we thank you, we honor you, and we exalt your holy name. It's in your darling Christ's name we pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. You know, today's scripture text is John 14 and 15. And it says, If ye love me, keep my commandments. Amen. Amen. I want you to know obedience is not about earning God's love, it is a response to his love. Amen. When God asks us to forgive, trust, serve, give, or wait, obedience often requires sacrifice. Yet every act of obedience strengthens our faith and deepens our relationship with Him. Sometimes we want the blessings of God without the surrender that obedience requires. But God's instructions are given for our good. His ways lead to life, my brothers and my sisters. His wisdom protects us, right? His direction brings peace. And I want you to ask yourself today is there any area where God has been speaking to me, but I haven't been listening? What is God asking me to do? What fear is keeping me from obeying Him fully? What step can I take today to be obedient, right? Let's reflect on those questions and then you can write a prayer down in your timing of just God, whatever are you speaking to me and I'm not listening? Right? Because I know we all want to listen. I know we all want to be obedient, but distractions, the world can get in the way of that, right? And we want to be able to find time to give God the first fruits of the day, to give God time throughout the day, to give God time in the midnight hour, right? So let's work on being more obedient to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, amen. Because God is good, He is so merciful, He is so powerful, and we definitely want to live in obedience. Because when we live in obedience, guess what? We can be a witness, we can testify to other people, right? And when we're living in obedience, we're able to be bold in our faith. Amen. So I'm just praying today that we can truly be a witness for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, that we truly can witness to someone who is going through, where we can just pray for someone who's needing prayer, right? I'm just praying that we can truly be disciples this month, and not just this month, but all the way into eternity, amen. Let us go to the Lord in prayer. Heavenly Father, we thank you for loving us enough to guide us. Thank you for giving us your word as a lamp unto our feet and a light into our path. Today we ask for your heart's desire, Heavenly Father. God, we're praying that we can fully surrender to your will in your way. Henry Father, we're praying that obedience is not always, we know that obedience is not always easy. But sometimes you call us to forgive when we want to hold on to hurt and pain. Sometimes you call us to trust when we want certainty, right? Sometimes you call us to step forward when fear wants us to remain still and complacent, right? But Henry Father, I'm praying right now that you will help us to obey you completely. Father, in the name of your son Jesus Christ, I'm asking you, oh God, to remove every spirit of fear, pride, stubbornness, and self-reliance. Henry Father, I'm praying that you would touch each person, oh God, and give them a spirit of love, peace, selflessness, happiness, and dependency upon you, oh God. Henry Father, and I just thank you so much for removing that spirit of fear, for removing that spirit of pride, for removing that spirit of stubbornness, for removing that spirit of self-resilience. Holy Father, I'm praying that you will continue to create in all of us a clean heart and renew the right spirit within us daily, O God. Teach us to trust that your ways are higher than our ways and your thoughts are higher than our thoughts. Holy Father, reveal any area of our lives where you have that we have resisted your leading, oh God. Show us where you are calling us to grow. Show us where you are asking us to trust you more deeply. Heavenly Father, give us courage to obey even we do not understand. Give us favor to obey even when the path seems uncertain. Give us strength to obey when it requires sacrifice, Henny Father. God, we ask you right now to let our obedience become an act of worship. Let it be evidence of our love for you, oh God. Heavenly Father, help us to follow you with our whole heart and not just a piece of our heart. Let our decisions honor you, O God. Let our words honor you, oh God. Let our actions honor you, oh God. Heavenly Father, may we become people who are quick to listen, willing to follow, and eager to please you, oh God. We want to please you first. We want to listen to you first, and we want to follow you first. Honey Father, we thank you for your patience because you are patient with us, oh God. We thank you for your grace toward us, oh God. We thank you for your mercy and your favor and your love. God, we thank you for continually to shape us into the people you have called us to be. And that is people who are bold in their faith, uh, have fire in their faith and believe by faith. Amen. And God, I'm just praying that we can truly be a witness to somebody today, that we can give a word to somebody today, that we can pray with someone today, that we can sing with someone today. But God, we surrender our will to yours. You have your will on this day, we pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Thank you all again for joining this. Our care let's pray ministries. Remember that we are all sinners stayed by grace. And remember that ain't nobody got a perfect life, that we all still trying to get this thing right. And I'm praying that we can take this day going forward and find a way to continue to walk better in obedience. Amen. We want to be able to be steadfast with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and we truly want to be able to live in obedience with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you all for tuning in. I pray that you all got something out of the lesson. And I pray that you tune back in tomorrow and bring a friend with you, pass the word, give your word to everybody.
