Good morning and welcome to our Care Let's Pray Ministries. I'm very grateful that you all tuned in this morning. I hope you all woke up energetic, positive, and ready to take on the day. I pray that God gives you strength to get through your day. I pray that God gives you guidance, wisdom, and peace to get through your day today. Amen. I want you to know that you are not on this journey by yourself. We are all on this journey together. And I'm so grateful that you all tuned in this morning. I'm so grateful that we got another day to seek God's presence, to seek his voice, and to speak in his word. Amen. Today we're going to be talking about called to witness. Amen. Today's June the 10th. And you know, my pastor always asks questions in Bible study. So I'm going to ask you all a question. And that question is Have you ever felt like God could use other people more than He could use you? Maybe you've listened to someone share their testimony and thought, I don't have no story like that. My pastor, like, I've been watching these YouTube videos about near-deaf experiences of people. And I'll be like, God, that's like powerful. But I don't want to have that kind of testimony. I don't want them near-deaf experiences. But it's just amazing that people can have those testimonies, right? And some people can look at that and reflect like, man, I would love to have that story. Not me, but I'm just saying in general. And maybe you watch people speak confidently about their faith and thought, I wouldn't even know what to say, right? Some people can have bold faith, radical faith, and be ready to move mountains with their faith, right? And some people like, I don't know. And you know, may have like a little wavering spirit. But I want you to know, do not ever compare yourself to anyone else. Because you are uniquely made in God's eyes, amen. And everybody is a witness for Jesus Christ. I want you to know that God is not looking for perfect people, He's always worked through willing people. If you are willing to be a disciple, if you're willing to be a child of God, if you're willing to be used by Him, God is saying, Come on and put your application in. Because I don't care what your background is, I will accept you. I will take you in. Amen. So wherever you are today, whether you're getting ready for the day ahead, sitting in traffic, taking a quick walk, or simply trying to make it through a difficult season, I pray you'll hear this not just as a devotional, but as a personal reminder from God. You matter, your story matters, and God can use your life in ways you may not even realize. It takes one phone call, one relationship, one business deal, one mention of your name, for God to open up the wonders of heaven and flood your life with blessings upon blessings and miracles upon miracles. Amen. And as I said before, today's devotion is called to be a witness, right? Our scripture text is coming from Acts 1 and 8, and it raises thus, but ye shall receive power. After that, the Holy Ghost is come upon you, and ye shall be witnesses unto me, both in Jerusalem and in all of Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Amen. When many people hear the word witness, they immediately immediately think about standing in front of a crowd, preaching a sermon, or having all the right answers, right? But that's not what Jesus was all about. A witness is simply something someone can do, right? Simply tells what they've seen, right? What they've experienced, what they know to be true. And if you're listening today and you're experiencing God's grace, you've already got a testimony. If he's covered you through grief, that's part of your testimony. If he's helped you overcome fear, that's a part of your testimony. If he's forgiven you, restored you, comforted you, strengthened you, or simply walked beside you through difficult seasons, that is a testimony. Amen. You don't need a microphone, you ain't got no need, no stage, you don't need a preaching degree. All you need is a willingness spirit to say, I want to be a witness, right? Sometimes being a witness looks like offering kindness when everyone else is harsh. Sometimes it looks like praying for a friend who's struggling. Sometimes it looks like being honest about how God met you in your own brokenness. And sometimes it looks like simply living a life that reflects God's love. You know what the truth is? The truth is there may be people in your life who will never walk into a church building. And I think I said that before in one of these podcasts. But there's people who would never walk into a church building, but they will watch you, they will listen to you, and they notice how you handle disappointment, how you handle people mistreating you, how you respond to negative things that come your way, right? And they will look at how you treat people and how you respond when life gets hard. And whether you realize it or not, your life may be pointing someone toward Jesus. I think one of the biggest lies many believers carry is this God can't use me until I have everything together. But if that was the case, there wouldn't be no preachers, there wouldn't be no deacons, deacons, it wouldn't be nobody sitting in the congregation. I'm talking about the churches will be boarded up if everybody was perfect. God uses people with doubts, failures, fears, who people who feel unqualified, right? And he still does wonder works today. Wondrous works today. And maybe today you've been feeling
