Welcome to How Care Let's Pray Ministries. I appreciate you all for tuning in and listening. Um, this is a backup. I am catching up on the episodes that did not cross over when I uploaded them. So you're gonna see a lot of um only about four or five that's gonna cross over for today that should have crossed over on the actual day, but neither nor there. Um we're not gonna complain. At least I have the opportunity to re-upload them, but I won't play catch up. But I thank you all for tuning in as always. I thank you all for supporting, and I thank you all for being a part of our current Let's Pray Ministries. I want to discuss our topic today, our devotional topic that is, is the love first. And this was um our devotional for June 13th. As I said, for this month, for the rest of this month, we are doing the devotionals with my church. So we have a prayer packet, and then we have different topics we speak over every every day, and then we have the devotional questions, and then we pray out. So I'm gonna follow that packet. And so today, like I said, we're gonna talk about love first. And before we begin, well, into the episode that is deeper. I want you to know something. I want you to know that you are truly, truly loved, amen. Not because of what you've accomplished this week or what's gonna be accomplished on to the end of this week, not because you've done everything right, not because you've been perfect, you are deeply loved because God loves you, amen. God cares about you, God comes to see about you, God is truly with you every step of the way. And if you've had a difficult day so far, which is only Monday right now, but if you've already had like a crazy start to your week, and you might be carrying something heavy within your heart, I want to take a moment to pray with you in a few moments to remind you of just how precious you are to God, amen. And our scripture text is coming from John 13 and 35, and it states, By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have loved one to another. Amen. What I love about this verse is that Jesus didn't say people would have recognized his followers by how much they know, how talented they are, or even how often they attend church. He said they would know us by our love, right? Love is the fingerprint of God on a believer's life. When people encounter genuine love, they encounter a glimpse of Jesus Christ. I want you to think about that for a moment. Have you ever had someone show you kindness when you least expected it? I know I have on a thousand times, and I thank God for every angel that's walking on this earth that He is blessed to come across my path to give me a word, to give me a hug, to give me a prayer, to bless me in some kind of way. I'm very grateful for that. And I want you to know that you may be listening right now, and someone walked up to you when no one else could understand what you were going through or didn't know how to listen to what you was trying to say. And God will send someone to listen when no one else will understand what you're saying, and maybe they checked on you during difficult times, and I'm talking about angels, people that God has assigned to your life, right? And maybe they offered you encouragement just when you were about to give up. Those moments stay with us because love leaves. I need to give me some water because love lives a lasting imprint, right? A lasting impact on our life. When someone truly does something in our life that is when we need it the most, whether it's a prayer, like I said before, a hug, a kiss on the cheek, or just something intimate from the Lord to say, God's still with you, God still loves you, God still cares, and I'm here for you, amen. We all go through difficult times in life, and we always need just that one person or that one sign or that one phone call to just let us know that everything is going to be alright. And I remember when I was going through my divorce, and I remember being at home, no one knows what I'm going through, not knowing that I'm juggling with the thought of even going through a divorce, right? And I remember praying said, God, all I need is a word. All I need is a hug. All I need is direction, right? And God literally sent my son to give me a hug at one point, and then sent someone else to give me a call to say, let go, right? So when we truly cry out from the desert of our soul into the Lord, He hears us, right? And He will send us what we ask for and what we pray for. The world can often feel rushed, impatient, and divided. And we know that everybody carries burdens that we cannot see. And some people are battling loneliness right now and struggling with fear and smelling on the outside while hurting deeply on the inside. And I'm telling you, God assigns people in our life to show us his love, his grace, his mercy, and his favor, whether it's through a kind word, a listening ear, a patient response, a thoughtful text message, or a sincere prayer to prayer. God always knows what to send us in the right time, right? And these little things might seem small, but they're big when you're truly going through something, and you just want to know somebody cares. Amen. And I want you to know that God often uses those small acts of love to accomplish big things. Love has a way of breaking down walls, love creates space for healing, love opened doors that arguments never could, and I said that before, right? Love reminds us that people, us, we people, we truly do matter. And God cares about us, right? He loves us, he wants to restore us, he wants to renew us, he wants to uplift us and encourage us, right? So I want you to know right now that you are truly, truly loved by Christ. And I don't care what you're going through, I don't know what your day might brought to you, but I want you to know that God truly does care for you. Every decision that you gotta make, God cares. He's right there by your side. And I want you to know that God is listening. A daily decision to respond with grace when we'd rather respond with frustration. God is listening and he gives us that grace so we don't respond with frustration, right? God loves to share his compassion with us, he loves to sit in silence with us, he loves pouring kindness over us each and every day. Amen. The more we walk with Jesus Christ, the more we begin to love just like him. And I'm very grateful for the love that Jesus Christ has upon each and every one of us, right? I'm so grateful for every smell, every prayer, every act of kindness that God bestows upon me each and every day because that shows me that God is still with me. When the birds are chirping and the sun is shining on me, I go, God, I hear you. Sweet music. No matter what I'm going through, I can hear your sweet music telling me that everything is going to be alright. So I want you to know that we're going to pray, pray, pray, pray, pray, pray that God will speak to us, amen. That God will show us some kind of sign that He is with us. Let us go to the Lord in prayer. Heavenly Father, in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, we come before you with grateful hearts saying, Thank you, O God, for loving us with a love that never fails. Thank you for loving us on our best days and loving us even more on our hardest days, oh God. Thank you for loving us when we feel strong, and thank you for blessing us and keeping us and loving us even more when we feel weak. Thank you for your grace and your mercy and your patience and your compassion that fails us not each and every day. Honey Father, teach us how to love the way you have loved us. Fill our hearts so completely with your presence that you love naturally, that your love naturally flows through each and every one of us, Henry Father. God, I pray that you meet every listener where they are right now, oh God. Give them patience, let them see kindness all the way around them. Remove the hurdle, God, and fill it with peace and strength and love. Let someone befriend them with compassion and understanding, Holy Father. God, I pray that you remove anything on us that is not like you, oh God. God, we want to be filled with love and humility, oh God. We don't want to be bitter, we don't want to be unforgiving, we don't want to be proud of our resentment or impatient. But God, we want to walk in your peace and your gentleness and your grace, Heavenly Father. God created us a clean heart that reflects the love of Jesus Christ. Amen. Honey Father, show us opportunities to encourage someone along our path this week. Show us opportunities to serve someone on our path this week, Heavenly Father. May our words bring life to a lost soul this week. May our actions bring healing to someone this week. Honey Father, we ask you to fill us with your power and with your authority this week, oh God. God, fill us with your words, fill us with your clarity, your discernment. God lead us to the people that we need to pray over this week. God, we love you, we exalt you, and we bless your holy name. It's in your darling son, Jesus Christ's name we pray. Amen. Thank you all for tuning in. Thank you all for spending this moment with me today. I pray that you all choose love first, grace first, and kindness first. That's a trifecta. You can pick all three at the same time, just like in the horse racing. You can pick three things. And I'm saying choose love, grace, and kindness first. Amen. May God get the glory in your life. Peace be still. Keep on trusting in God, keep on looking to the heels which cometh your help, and keep on sharing the love of Jesus Christ. Until next time, have a blessed day.
