Hello, hello, hello, my dear friends. Welcome back to Wildcare Let's Pray Ministries. I am so grateful you all join me wherever you are right now, whether you're starting your morning, starting your evening, or just being in today's day, we thank you for joining. I pray that you feel God's presence surrounding you and through this podcast. I am praying the peace of God and his love upon you today. And before we begin, I want to remind you that your life matters, your voice matters, and the words you speak matter. Amen. Sometimes we don't realize the impact our words have. A single sentence can brighten someone's day. A kind word can bring comfort to a hurting heart. Amen. A message of encouragement can give someone the strength to keep going when they feel like giving up. This is where our topic of our devotion today comes in at, which is titled Speak Life. Amen. Our scripture is coming from Proverbs 18 and 21, where it states, Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Amen. May the Lord have a blessing to the hearing and the reading and the doing of his word. That is such a powerful truth. Life and death lies in the power of our tongue. What we speak has meaning, right? God's word that we just read reminds us that our words carry tremendous influence and weight. Every day we are given opportunities to build up or to tear down, encourage or to discourage. Inspire hope or spread negativity. And if you're if we're being honest right now, we've all experienced both sides. Most of us can remember words that wounded us, hurt us so bad that we even quit going to church over it. And maybe it was rejection, criticism, or just pain in general. And maybe somebody spoke to you in anger or talked to you 10 current crazy. But I want you to know that that reminds us to watch how we speak to others, right? We know that words that can encourage us from time to time and words that remind us of our worth, right? We need to be remindful of speaking life into our own souls and to the people around us, right? Friends, family, and all listeners, listeners, never underestimate the power of your voice. Your voice has power. Amen. You may never fully know how much your words mean to someone else, but I'm telling you, a simple, I'm praying for you. A simple, heartfelt text saying, You can do this. A gentle word saying God hasn't forgotten about you. A sincere prayer, text, phone call saying, I am here for you. These may seem like small little things, but I'm telling you, God can use them in mighty ways. The truth is so relevant. People are fighting battles we often know nothing about, right? And you know, I'm telling you a couple months ago, I was going through some things, and you know, I'm praying to God and I'm talking to different people, and everybody will say something different. But the one thing that held with me, that stuck with me was, what do you need? I got you. Where you need to go, I got you. What do you need me to say? I say it. They was meeting me in my, I don't understand what's going on moment, right? They was meeting me in, I'm in this battle with you. Yea, though I walk through the battle of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. For thou art with me, my ride and my staff that comforts me. That's what David said when he was going through um trials and tribulations in life, right? And so when you get someone that says, I'm walking with you in the valley of low moments, that means a lot. That means God is saying, I just told you, I'm walking with you through devastation. I'm walking through with you in death. I'm walking with you in divorce. I'm walking with you when the finances ain't right. I'm walking with you when they walk out the door. God is saying, I am with you always, right? And that's why we don't know what nobody goes through each and every day. People can smell the brightest by hurting on the inside, right? Have you ever gone to the grocery store and the cashier is smiling, but you don't know what they currently on the back end, right? I've done been through some checkouts. And I go, how's your day been going? And I remember this young guy said, I'm about to quit. I ain't about to do all this all day. I said, Well, you know, being encouraged to surety, maybe to get betties, ain't gonna get a better, I'm about to quit. And the thing is, you have to speak life into people when they're going through. And I want to encourage you to pass this same thing on to your neighbor to let them know that, hey, you are not forgotten that you are loved, amen. And I also want you to know, as followers of Christ, our words should reflect his heart, amen. Jesus always spoke the truth, he always spoke with love, he corrected, but he also restored, he challenged people, but he never stopped caring for people, amen. His words brought healing, hope, life, peace, joy, happiness, love. Amen. I can keep going on and on and on about the words of God and his disciples, as disciples, his disciples, we have the privilege of doing the same when people are going through life, up life's ups and downs, right? And imagine what could happen if every morning we all simply prayed, Lord, let my words reflect you today. How different might our homes feel, right? How different might our workplaces feel if we prayed every morning before we started our day. Lord, let my words reflect you today. How different might our churches, communities, and our relationships be, right? When we intentionally choose words that encourage, bless, and uplift, we become instruments of God's love in a world that desperately needs hope. And today I want to encourage you to look for opportunities to speak a life into someone today. Tell someone that they are love, tell someone that they matter, tell someone that God is faithful. Amen. Let us go to the Lord in prayer. Holy Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we come before you with grateful hearts. Holy Father, we thank you for the gift of communication. Thank you for giving us voices that can encourage, comfort, teach, and bless others. Holy Father, today we surrender our words to you, O God. Guide our speech so that every word we speak brings life, hope, understanding, truth, and encouragement, oh God. I pray. Help us to pause before we speak and consider whether our words honor you. And help us consider if our words are the words that you told us to speak, oh God. Guard our tongues, oh God, from negativity, from gossip, criticism, complaining, and all the things that's not about your characteristics, Helena Father. God, when we are frustrated, give us patience, give us peace, encourage our souls, oh God, so we can encourage ourselves, Honey Father. When we are hurt, oh God, give us grace, give us a word to uplift our souls, Honey Father. When we are tempted to speak out of anger, Honey Father, I pray that you give us wisdom and self-control. Let our friendships be built on honesty, compassion, and love. Let us follow you, O God, in spirit and in truth. May our words bring healing in someone's life today. May our words bring hope in someone's life today. May our words bring light in someone's life today, Heavenly Father. God, we ask you to help us to be the vessel that you have created us to be from the beginning of time, oh God. We truly want to be your instruments of grace, oh God. God, we thank you, we love you, and we exalt your holy name. It's in your mighty name. We pray. Amen. Amen. Thank you all for tuning in. And before you all go, I want to leave you with this one simple truth. You never know what someone is encouraging. So I'm asking you all to encourage someone today. And matter of fact, encourage somebody all day, every day. It ain't gonna just be one person, it could be multiple people. Choose words that will heal, choose words that will encourage, choose words that will point people to Jesus Christ. Until next time, I pray that you all will keep trusting God, keep hoping, keep believing, keep walking, and keep sharing the love of God. This is Occur, Let's Pray. Let's I Cur Let's Pray Ministries. Have a blessed day.
