Good morning, good morning, good morning, good morning, good morning. Welcome back to High Curl Let's Pray Ministries. I'm so grateful that you all tuned in today. I'm so grateful that the Lord is in this place today. I pray that God consumes this podcast and you can feel his touch, his presence, his love, his word, and his direction on this glorious June 19th day. Amen. Juneteenth. Yay! I just pray that you all have a glorious day today. I pray that this Friday is just filled with so much of God's love and peace and harmony and blessings that you just overflow and it flows on to someone else. Amen. And I want you to know that you are blessed. You are blessed. You are blessed. You are blessed. God has favored you. God has provided for you. God has got you out of those messes you put yourself in because of the decisions you've made. I'm telling you right now, as a testimony, I've been there all in any scenario. I'll probably not be in there. But I want you to know that God comes and see about us each and every day. Before we get out the bed, when we go lay down at night, God is already there watching over us. And I thank God for his glory. I thank God for his power. I thank God for his peace. Amen. I thank God for being God all by Himself. And I want you to know our topic today is called Stay Humble. And you are blessed. You're so blessed. I don't think you realize how blessed you really are. God loves you beyond measures. God loves you besides the message we put ourselves in. I want you to know you are blessed. You are blessed. You are blessed. I don't know why that's on me this morning, but I want to keep telling you, you are blessed. And I want you to know when we talk about stay humble, it's about thinking truthfully about God. Amen. Staying humble means I'm not thinking less of myself. I'm thinking more about Jesus Christ, what he thinks about me. Am I serving right? Am I doing right? Am I following his commandments? I'm spending more time with him. And can I be priviless? Can I be selfless? Amen. Staying humble is just thinking and remembering about who God is. Micah 6 and 8 states, He hath shown thee, O man, what is good and what doeth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with thy God. Amen, amen, amen. May the Lord have a blessing to the hearing and the reading and the doing of his word. He hath shown us, amen. What such a beautiful scripture. It's a simple invitation from God. It's not too deep, amen. It is saying, Do justly, love mercy, walk humbly with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That last part, walk humbly with thy God, is where everything comes into alignment. Because humility is not just an attitude, it is a posture of our hearts, amen. It's the quiet recognition that without God, we would not have breath, wisdom, strength, our purpose, amen. Everything we are and everything we have comes from God. And that truth gently keeps us steady, it keeps us grounded, it keeps us looking to the heels which cometh our help. Because pride has a way of slow and shifting the focus of Jesus Christ. Amen. Let me say that again. Pride has a way of slowly shifting our focus. It doesn't always look loud or obvious. Sometimes pride shows up in subtle ways, in wanting recognition, and needing to be seen, and forgetting to give God the credit, amen. And believing we are the source instead of the vessel. But humility brings us back to his throne. It quietly says, Lord, this is yours, meaning my life. The gifts that he bestowed upon us, the opportunities that he's blessed us with to be a witness for him, amen. This life we live in does not belong to us, it belongs to Jesus Christ. And that kind of heart, when you display this, becomes a safe place for God to move through us, amen. God doesn't just use ability, he looks for availability with humility. Jesus modeled this so perfectly, and I thank God for sending his only begotten Son to save us, but Jesus modeled this so perfectly for each and every one of us. He has all power in his hands, but yet he still served. He had all authority in his hands, but yet still he still served. He had all authority, yet he still washed feet. He had every right to be elevated, yet he chose to be obedient to God. And in doing so, he showed us that true greatness in the kingdom of God is found in surrender, not self-exaltation, but in God's exaltation. We stop chasing for recognition. We stop striving for applause. And instead, we begin to rest in the awesomeness and the awareness of Jesus Christ. We know that God sees us. And by us knowing that God sees us, that's enough. God is the focus. And we focus on God, it comes with peace. When we focus on God, we lose the comparison grip. Amen. I want you to know that this race is not a competition of who can do the most and who can do the tatting the most and who can go and buy the fanciest dress or the fanciest suit. I want you to know that this journey, this race, is all about being pleasing in God's eyesight and having a humble heart to serve in spirit and in truth, to be a disciple as He's called us to be, amen. We need to focus on being more humble before his throne. And before we pray, I want to take a moment to ask you all a couple of questions. And you can ask yourself these questions in your alone time before you pray unto the Lord. You can say, Do I seek recognition? Or am I focused on God getting the glory? Am I truly being a witness? Or I'm just being a show-off. We truly gotta think about those horrid questions and look ourselves in the mirror to see are we truly being a reflection of Jesus Christ. I want you to know that humility grows in each and every one of us. We might be proud for one day and be humble the next. We might be selfish one day and be selfless the next because we're allowing God to mold us, to shape us, to be better people each and every day. The more we know about God, the smaller our pride becomes. And the greater His presence becomes in our lives, the more that we say, Yes, Lord, I am here. And that's a good thing. That is very, a very, very good thing. Because humility doesn't take away from who you are, it aligns you with who you were created to be. Let us go to the Lord Emperor. Heavenly Father, in the precious name of Jesus Christ, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. We give you glory this morning. God, we are so grateful that you love us unconditionally. We're so grateful that you come and see about our needs each and every day. We're so grateful that you love us beyond our measure. God, I just thank you so much for loving us, for showing us that we can be better than what we were the day before. Honey Father, today we ask you to keep our hearts humble before you. Gently remove any pride and desire for recognition or anything within us that seeks glory for ourselves instead of for you. Help us to remember that every good thing in our lives comes from your hand. Our breath, our strength, our wisdom, our opportunities, our calling, Honey Father. All of this comes from you. And Henry Father, I pray that you teach us to walk humbly with you each and every day. That we seek your hand in our life each and every day. That we consult you each and every day. That we include you, oh God, in everything that we do, Henry Father. Help us to do justly in your actions, in our actions. Help us, oh God, to love like you have loved us. God, there's nothing like your love. You have loved us and it sticks with us each and every day. God, you show us every day a different way of how you have loved us, how you have served us, and how you have provided for us. And God, we thank you for that. Help us to extend grace in this same way to someone else. Heavenly Father, I pray that our grace grows within us. Help us not to be proudful. Help us not to be envious. Help us to be humbled before your throne. Bless us with your word and through your word. Bless us to be servants for you, oh God. Let our words point to you each and every day. Let our voice be a vessel for you, Henry Father. Honey Father, and I pray that you continue to show us which way we need to go on along this journey. Help us to walk in humility, not as something heavy, but as something free. Worship, Henry Father. God, I'm praying that on this morning, before we close out in prayer, that you will touch someone's heart to let them know that everything's going to be alright. God, give them a spirit of praise, give them a spirit of worship, give them a spirit to know that you are with them. Our rod and our staff that comforts us each and every day, our Prince of Peace, our joy, our happiness, our anger. Honey Father, I pray on this day that you get all the glory, you get all the honor, you get all the praise. God, I pray that on this day that we can truly be a vessel for you, Honey Father. God, I pray that on this day that we will sit still long enough to hear what thus saith the Lord. God, speak to our hearts. We are open and available. Speak to our hearts for we are willing. Speak to us, oh God, as individually and as a group, because we are yours for the taking. It is in Jesus Christ's name we pray. Amen. Amen, amen, amen. And before we close out, I want to leave you with this simple thought. You don't need to be seen by everyone. You only need to be seen before God. Great is thy faithfulness because his eyes, humility is never hidden. In his eyes, he honors us. In his eyes, he loves us because he made us in his image. Amen. So on this glorious day, I pray that you walk in peace, walk in God's favor. I pray man's favor over your life. I pray that you will love quietly, you will serve faithfully each and every day. And I pray that you give God all the glory today, on this magnificent day. Thank you all for spending time with me once again. Until next time, keep your heart low before God and your eyes fixed on Him. Because God is the reason and God knows it all. Amen, amen, amen. Have a blessed day. Smell more than you did yesterday. And I pray God's traveling grace upon your life. Have a blessed day. Bye bye.
