Stand Firm June 23

Good morning, good morning, good morning. It is June the 23rd. This is our Care Last Pray Ministries, and I hope you all woke up this morning with a smile on your face and joy within your heart. I'm so glad you are with me today. You all are becoming my friends. So I say good morning, friends, good morning, family, and good morning, first time listeners. I'm so grateful and honored that you all keep tuning in, whether you've been tuning in every day, every other day, or some days, I thank you. And as always, before we begin, I want us to just slow down and remember seasons will come and go. And when I say seasons will come and go, I mean seasons of change, seasons of pressure, seasons of uncertainty or spiritual resistance. But I want us to talk about how we stand firm when we're going through the trials of life. We are not called to move with every shift around us, amen. We are called to stand with God, and that makes all the difference in the world. And I want you to know, I always tell my kids, I'm not about to down this on this mountain hill with y'all. When we used to go back and forth, and they go, Mommy, you said this, mom, you said that uh, I ain't about to down this hill. It's either we're gonna agree to disagree or you're gonna carry on. But a lot of things in life we have to pick and choose our battles. And sometimes we pick battles that ain't even worth fighting. And then we lose our peace, we lose our joy, we lose our happiness, amen. We have to learn how to just stand firm on the word of God. Say, peace be still, and God have your way. And I want to speak to you in this calm voice, because standing firm isn't about being loud or forceful, it's about being rooted, rooted in God's truth, his word, and rooted in faith that does not move just because circumstances do, amen. Our scripture text today is coming from 1 Corinthians 16 and 13. And it states, Watch ye, stand fast in the faith. Quit you like men. Be strong. Amen. May the Lord have a blessing to the hearing and the reading and the doing of his word. Right here when we read this scripture, it is telling us to be spiritually steady. Amen. It's a reminder that faith is not just something we hold on to when life is easy. It's something we hold on to easily, especially when life is not. Because challenges will come. There will be moments when your faith is tested, moments when things don't go as planned, moments when pressure tries to shake your confidence, even moments when doubt tries to whisper louder than truth. And in those moments, the quiet moments when you just want to be still to hear from the Lord and say, What is going on? This is where you can stand firm and say, God, I know you're working on my behalf. I want you to know the question becomes not whether challenges will come, but how do I stand firm when they do? And standing firm don't mean you will never feel the pressure, the burdens, the tears. It means your it means pressure does not move your foundation. Because your foundation is not built on feelings. It is not built on your circumstances, it is built on God, amen. And I want you to know that God is real. God is there to help us along this journey. And I want you to know he has never changed, he has never flipped sides, amen. The scripture says, stand fast in the faith, which means we must remain steady, anchored, grounded in the truth. The wind may blow, the storm may come, the rain may even fall heavy, like it did last night, thundering and ruin all over the place. But what keeps the tree standing is not what is happening above the surface. It is about what is rooted beneath it, amen. And in the same way your strength is anchored in God. So before we pray, I want you to know. Be still and just listen to God. Be still and know that God is fighting for you. Be still and know that trouble don't last always. Be still and know that God is your strength, He is your support, He is your anchor, your bridge over troubled waters, He's the great I am, the wheel in the middle of a wheel. He's the one that said, Yea, though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death. David said it actually, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me, talking about Jesus Christ, thy rod and thy staff that will comfort me, amen. So I want to remind you when you feel like you're walking through moments of pain, hardship, and darkness, just remember that God is walking with you, and you are never alone. You have his strength to make it through. He will meet you right where you are. So don't ever feel ashamed, don't ever feel pressured, but be honest before the Lord, and he will hear your heart's cry. Let us go to the Lord in prayer. Heavenly Father, in the precious name of Jesus, we come before you with thankful hearts this morning. Thank you, O God, for being our firm foundation, our strength, and our unshakable rock. Thank you that even when life changes, you remain the same. Today we ask you, O God, to strengthen our faith so that we can stand firm in every situation we face. When challenges arise, O God, help us to not be moved by fair or doubt. When pressure increases, help us not to lose our peace. Holy Father, give us endurance to remain faithful. Give us wisdom to stay rooted in your word. Remind us, O God, that we are never alone. You are with us in every battle. You are with us in every trail. You are with us in every season. Help us, O God, to watch, to be alert, and to stay spiritually grounded. Teach us, O God, to lean on you when we feel weak, tired, broken, and confused. Teach us, O God, to trust you when we don't understand. Teach us to rely on you when we feel overwhelmed. Heavenly Father, for the one who's listening right now. They may be feeling shaken up, bring them stability to their hearts. They may be facing pressure right now. But God, I pray you bring them peace of mind. For the one who feels like giving up, renew their strength and their hope, O God. Let them know deeply that you are holding them steady. God, I thank you for this moment. I thank you for your love. God, I thank you for your spirit of being consistent. I thank you for giving us the spirit to endure, Heavenly Father. Heavenly Father, let your light continue to shine in our life times a thousand. God, we choose to stand firm in you today. We choose to remain hopeful and rooted in your truth. We choose to believe even when we cannot see. We give you all the honor, all the glory, and all the praise. In Jesus, your daughter and Son's name. Amen. Friends, family, and new listeners, before we close today, I want to encourage you with this. You don't have to move with every storm. You don't have to be shaken by every challenge. You can stand firm in God and He will hold you steady. Thank you all for spending time with me today. I hope you all have a blessed day. I'm praying God's traveling grace upon your life. I'm praying God will continue to keep his hand upon you, his blood on you, and his loving arms wrapped around you. I pray that you will smell. Smell today. You have something to smell for. Breathe the goodness of Jesus Christ in every day. Every time the wind blows, that's a gift from God. Every time you hear the birds chirping, that's a gift from God. Every time the sun shines, that's a gift from God. Every time it rains, it's a gift from God. Amen. So until next time, keep standing, keep trusting, and keep your faith anchored in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Until next time, this is our Curless Pray Ministries. Have a blessed day. Smell so somebody else can smell. Smell so somebody else can smell. Because I guarantee you, if you smell at somebody, they're gonna smell right back. Let me shut up because I keep on talking. But have a blessed day. Smell and know that God is with you always. Stay blessed. Amen.
