Good afternoon. Welcome back to How Care Let's Pray Ministries. Thank you all for tuning in. Thank you all for lending me your ear for this moment of time before our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I invite God into this podcast. I invite God into your hearts, my souls, and spirit. I ask God to take over and take charge in this very moment. Amen. I pray that God will shift the atmosphere. I pray that God will speak directly to our hearts this afternoon. Amen. I want you to know that this week I want to invite you all into a season of consecration. That is what our devotional topic is about today. Not necessarily a season of doing more, but a season of drawing closer, amen. A season of intentionally shutting out the noise so you can hear the voice of God more clearly. Amen. Matthew 7, 7 through 8 states, asked and shall be given you. Seek and ye shall find. And to him that knocketh, it shall be open. Many times we read these verses and we focus on what we want God to give us, right? And what we want from God. We focus on the blessings, the breakthrough, the answer, the provisions, the relationships, the opportunity are the open doors, right? But what if the greatest gift isn't what God gives us, but it is the greatest gift of Him giving us Himself. Amen. We talked about this the other day. But I want to go deeper into this because the world can be so loud. Social media can be so loud. Everybody's opinions about what we could become and what we should be doing, and why you dress like this, and why your hair is like this, and why aren't you pointing in this direction? Everybody's opinions can be loud. Fear is loud, anxiety is loud, disappointment is loud, past mistakes are loud. Yet God often speaks in a small, very small, and still voice. There are moments when we must intentionally quiet our surroundings, quiet our heart, mind, souls, and spirit, and invite heaven to come in so we can hear. Psalms 27 and 8 states, when thou sayest, seek ye my face, my heart said unto thee, Thy Lord, Thy face, Lord, will I seek. Notice that God did not say, let me say amen. I'm sorry I didn't say amen after the scripture. But amen. But notice that God did not first say, Seek my hand, seek my seek my arm. He said, Seek my face. His hand represents what he can do. His face represents who he is. And many people seek God when they need something. Few seek him simply because they love him. Yet when we bring to begin to seek him above everything else, God can order our footsteps. But we have to focus more on God. We are in a season of connection with God. We're in a season of consecration with God. We're in a season that we need to be cleansed and purified by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Matthew 6 and 33 states, but seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. And all these things shall be added unto you. This promise right here, amen, amen, amen. This promise is not that God will add things because we chase things. The promise is when we seek Him, He will add what we need. Because we're looking for His involvement, we're looking for His leadership, we're looking for His guidance, right? We're seeking God more than anything. And this is what we need to be doing right now. Perhaps you're praying for wisdom concerning your future. Perhaps you're asking God to guide your family, your ministries, your relationships, your next assignment, your next move. But today I want to encourage you not to rush God's answers. Because God knows what's best. God knows the right timing, the right location, the right people, the right bank, the right house, the right car. God knows everything. So we must learn how to be still in his presence. Open up the Bible and reading slowly to understand what the word is saying and allowing the word to speak to our souls. Sometimes we have to ask God, Lord, what are you trying to show me? What are you trying to tell me? Where are you trying to lead me? What are you doing, oh God? Be real with God. God loves it when we be real. Even when you say I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired, God, why am I always sick and tired of being sick and tired? And He will respond in His due season. I want you to know sometimes we need to do something different, right? And when I say do something different, I'm talking about turning off the TV so you can hear from the Lord. Putting down the phone and putting on silence so you can just sit in quiet to hear from the Lord. Just take a walk to enjoy the beauty of God's blessings, right? The trees, the sun, the clouds, the winds, the beauty of the world. Just walking and praising God and thanking God and praying to God, right? Sometimes we need to have church in our own homes. Truly turn on some music and turn on a sermon, having a full-blown church service in our own homes to rest upon his glory. Amen. I just want you to know, I want you to reflect on one thing before we go into prayer. Am I seeking God more in my life? Am I trusting God more in my life? Am I surrendering to God more each and every day? We need to connect to God. We need to be washed whiter than snow. We need to be purified through the blood of Jesus Christ. We need to fall in line with the plans God has over our life. Amen. It is time for us to ask God to create in all of us a clean heart and renew the right spirit within us. It's time to ask God to order our footsteps so we can know in our hearts that we're going to see him again in eternal life. No one knows the time nor the hour God's going to come back, but we all want to be ready when he does. We want to be proactive versus reactive. So this is why I truly believe that we're in a season of consecration, learning more about his will and his way, trusting his word more in each and every day, depending upon him each and every day, and leaning on him each and every day. Let us go to the Lord in prayer. Heavenly Father, in the mighty, mighty, mighty, mighty name of Jesus Christ. We come before you right now with humility, gratitude, and complete surrender, oh God. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, before we ask you for anything, we offer you everything. Honey Father, we lay our hearts upon the altar right now. Our minds upon the altar right now. Honey Father, we even lay our plans on the altar right now, and our dreams, our desires, our relationships, our churches, our future, our ministries, oh God. We lay them all on the altar. God, we cast in our cares on you right now. Honey Father, every burden, every concern, every unanswered question, every unanswered prayer, every disappointment, every fear, every expectation, and every hope. Honey Father, we lay it all at your feet. Honey Father, we don't know what to simply ask for anymore. Because we've been praying and praying and praying year after year, day after day, second after second. And some of our prayers are still sitting in limbo, still waiting to be answered. But God, we know you know what's best. So we don't want to rush your timing. We just want to keep on believing and trusting in you, oh God. Believing that you're going to answer, believing you're going to respond, believing you're going to touch us with the answer to our prayers one day. And Holy Father, we say thank you for that. Holy Father, we don't just want the blessings that you give us, Holy Father. God, we want the beauty of being in your presence, being in your word, being in your arms, and knowing that you are consoling us and you're embracing us, and we can feel you just holding on to us, oh God. God, we want to feel your word. We want to feel your presence. We want to be with you, oh God, in spirit and in truth. God, we ask you for more intimacy in our relationship with you, oh God. God, we want to love you more each and every day. We want to spend time with you, basking in your glory more each and every day. Holy Father, we just want to look up and see your splendor and just cry out, holy, holy, holy, because you're so beautiful. Thank you, O God, for always being with us. Holy Father, I'm asking you this afternoon. I'm pleading with you this afternoon, oh God, to remove every distraction that could peace for our attention, oh God. God, we want you to silence all this noise and all this hate and all these naysayers around us, oh God. Quiet everything, oh God, so we can hear thy voice. God, we hardly be attached to the wrong things and the wrong people, oh God, and the wrong places. God, we ask you to remove any unhealthy attachments, oh God. So that the only thing that's attached to us, oh God, is the things that you want to be attached to us, oh God. God, we want you to keep the unshakable things in our life, oh God, and not the shakable things. God, stable our footsteps, order our footsteps, stable the ground that we're walking on, oh God. Because we truly want to be stable in your word, in our faith, and in our relationship with you, oh God. Honey Father, give us the better perspective over our life. God, help us to see what you see in all of us, oh God. God, because we want to draw closer to you every day. God, we want you to expose anything in us that does not reflect your character. This is what consecration is all about: being purified, being cleansed, getting whiter than snow, oh God. God, try us and know our thoughts. Search us and know our hearts. Reveal in us your glory and your spirit within our souls, oh God. God, we want you to remove all the pride and unforgiveness in our souls, Holy Father. Remove the fear and the doubt and the rebellion within our spirits, oh God. Holy Father, is there anything within us that grieves your spirit, oh God? Please remove it. We done prayed that before anything that grieves your spirit, that quenches your spirit, oh God. We surrender it to you right now because we don't want anything separating us from what you're doing in our life, in our relationship with you, oh God. Teach us, oh God, to desire you more than each, more than anything else in this world, oh God. But seek ye first the kingdom. God, we're seeking your kingdom each and every day. We're seeking your word each and every day. We're seeking your clarity each and every day. We're seeking your direction more each and every day. So, Henry Father, we're asking you to order our footsteps. Open up our eyes so we may see. God, show us the way. Lead us, oh God, onto the right path, onto the right path. God, we don't want nothing more but to be pleasing in your eyesight. We don't want nothing more but to do your will. We don't want nothing more but put a smile on your face and joy in your heart, oh God. God, we want you to be pleased with us. So, God, order our footsteps, I pray. Honey Father, we surrender our all to you. Everything in our life, oh God. We surrender to you. God, if we're not using our gifts and our talents that you have assigned to us, oh God, God, we pray that you set a fire in our soul to do thy will, to use our gifts. Because God, we don't want to bury our gifts. Like the story in the Bible where you gave the talents to three or four people. And the last one you had one talent and they buried it. Because they didn't want to lose the gift, but you removed it anyway, because they was not using what you gave them. And God, we don't want you to take anything away that you have assigned for us to take care of, oh God. We truly want to be good shepherds of our gifts and our talents. So, God, whether it's in the church, whether it's in our homes, whether it's in the community, whether it's on our jobs, help us to be a good steward with our gifts and our talents. Because everything belongs to you. Honey Father, we want to be faithful stewards with everything you're placed in our hands. Honey Father, we don't want nothing more but to know what you want us to do, oh God. God, we pray we don't miss any opportunities to be in your presence. We pray we don't miss any opportunities to hear your voice. We pray we don't miss any opportunities to go in the way you tell us to go. So, God, we want you to know. We want your will. We want your wisdom. We want your direction. God, we want your presence and our relationship with you, oh God, to be more intimate. Honey Father, we want a heart that is solely seeking you, like David, having a heart that says in the Bible, a man after God's own heart. God, we want that heart. We want a woman's heart that's after God's own heart, a man's heart after God's own heart, a child's heart after God's own heart. God, we are panting for you right now, just like a deer at the water brook. God, we're seeking you right now. Honey Father, as we seek you, God, speak clearly to us so we know that you are speaking. And as we wait, Honey Father, before you reveal your plans, God, sharpen our ears that we may hear you. Honey Father, help us to walk in your direction. Help us to serve with pure, purified motives, Honey Father. Holy Father, we want to live a life that glorifies you. Honey Father, we thank you for this very second. We thank you for this very hour. Let our words reflect you, oh God. Let our decisions honor you, O God. Let our heart belong completely to you. Holy Father, consecrate ourselves and make us afresh, O God. We dedicate ourselves to you, O God. Use us and have your way in us, around us, and through us, O God. For your kingdom, for your glory, for your Son Jesus Christ. We pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. God is so good. God is so merciful. And I'm telling you on this day, thank God for this day. Thank God for your journey. Praise God today. And draw closer to Him. There's nothing like being in His presence. There's nothing like being in His Word. And there's definitely nothing like hearing the voice of God speaking to your soul.
