Welcome to Our Care Let's Pray Ministries. We're so grateful that you all tuned in today. Wherever you are, we pray that God will consume your space and that you feel a word from Him. We pray that God will touch you in this very moment to hear what thus says the Lord. We thank God for your heart, mass, soul, and spirit. We pray that you will be encouraged through this podcast. Amen. We invite God into this space right now and we say, have your way, oh God. Speak, oh God, to our heart, mass, souls, and spirit right now, oh God. Help us to see you in this very moment. We pray. Heart and Father, I just thank you for another day's journey. And I thank you for every listener. And I want you all to know today that our topic is going to be when God changes the plan but keeps the promise, amen. I'm just so filled with Thanksgiving already. I almost started praying before giving y'all the title. But I want you to know that God may change the plan, but he never, ever, ever breaks his promises. Amen. We don't understand why detours, detours come our way, but God does. And we just don't know why in that moment, but God does it for a reason. And I'm gonna give you all an example before we go into our opening prayer. I want you to several, several, several years ago, I just knew from the depths of my soul that this one thing was about to happen in my life. I was excited, I was bubbling, I was rejoicing, I was happy. I'm like, yes, Lord, thank you, Lord. Hallelujah, bless your name. And I mean, in a blink of an eye, all love it was taken away. And I'm like, God, why would you let this happen? And why would you let this come my way? And why would you let me feel like this was my moment, this was my time, and it never happened. But only God knew what was gonna happen if I walked through that door. And I'm telling you, several years later, God showed me the why. He didn't let me walk through that door. He showed me why I needed to cry in that moment so I wouldn't be in pain several years later. So sometimes the plan don't look like what we thought it should be, but God ultimately knows what he's doing. And I'm so grateful when God changes the plan. I'm so grateful when God shuts the door because at the end of the day, he knows what's best. He knows what's going to happen from one minute to the next. So I want you to know when you feel like your life is constantly going in the opposite direction, what you expected. Hold on to God's unchanging hand. Let us go to the Lord in prayer. Holy Father, we thank you so much for this day. Holy Father, we thank you so much for listening to us right now, oh God. Holy Father, I pray that you consume this space right now. I pray that you will touch this mic and send your words of encouragement out to every listener, your love out to every listener, and your reminder out to every listener. Honey Father, I pray that right now you will open up our hearts, oh God, to receive what thus saith the Lord. Honey Father, I pray that you will equip them to accept what you're going to say, Heavenly Father, in their future, in their time right now with you, oh God. God, I pray that you will hear and answer prayers, Heavenly Father. God, we trust and believe that you are taking our life in a wonderful direction, Henry Father. You have something greater in store for us, oh God, and we say thank you, oh God, for that. Thank you, oh God, for knowing what's best for us, Heavenly Father. God, we thank you for the open doors and we thank you for the closed doors. Henning Father, we thank you for the tears and we thank you for the rain and the sunshine, Heavenly Father. We thank you, oh God, that you know what's best. So that's why we can press ahead because you know exactly what you are doing. So, Heavenly Father, give us the faith, give us the strength, give us the endurance to keep on pressing ahead until our change comes. It's in your darling son, Jesus Christ's name we pray. Amen. Amen, amen, amen. I hope you all feel the love of God right now. I hope you all feel God's presence right now because God is in the room. God's presence is filling this mic, amen. And I want to ask you all a question. Have you ever confused God's promise with your own plans? Sometimes we assume that because God has given us a promise, we will already know how it's gonna be fulfilled. We get the master plan together ourselves and we say it's gonna look like this, and it's gonna come this way, and we pick out the box it's gonna arrive in, and then God says, uh-uh, it's gonna be in this little bitty box that you least expected, right? God knows amazing things about us that we don't even know about ourselves. But I want you to know that God often surprises us in different ways, and sometimes we don't understand why we gotta go through the this road and that road to get to God's blessings. But I want you to think about Joseph for one moment. As a young man, God gave him dreams that pointed toward a future of influence, right? Joseph probably never imagined that his path would include betrayal, slavery, false accusations, and prison, right? His own family turned on him. The plan changed, but the promise did not. Think about Abraham and Sarah, right? God promised them a son, but they had to wait years upon years upon years till they got to their old age. Before the sin, God fulfilled the promise in their life. The timing was different than they expected, but God's word remained true to them and to us this very day. I want you to know that all throughout Scripture, God shows us different methods of how He surprises us before we get to the blessing. And I want you to know that you might be not understanding what a plan fell through. And I want you to know it's okay to bring all your disappointments to God and all your questions, but don't assume that a closed door means God has abandoned his promise. Sometimes he redirects us to protect us. Sometimes he redirects us to prepare us. Sometimes he redirects us because he sees what we cannot. What if the change isn't the end of your purpose? What if it's the beginning of something greater than you could ever imagine? Proverbs 1921 states, many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails, amen. We make plans, we make them all day, every day. Planning wisely is good, don't get me wrong. But God's purpose is deeper and wiser than anything we could ever design for ourselves. And I'm so grateful that we are the clay and he is the potter because he knows exactly how to curve us and mold us and shape us. So this is why we gotta trust in his plans. He said, My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are my ways your ways. So we need to focus on his perspective because when we focus on God's perspective, it reaches beyond what we can see today, tomorrow, and the day after that. God's wisdom invites us to trust him all the days of our life. Even we don't understand, right? I want you to know that Joshua 21 and 45 stated, now one of all the Lord's good promises to Israel failed. Everyone was fulfilled. God's promises are dependable because his character is faithful, amen. God knows more. God is the author, right? He made this entire world. He made us in his image, right? So before we pray out, I want to ask you all a couple of reflection questions. And one of them, and I want you to think about these questions, and then once this podcast is over, go to the Lord and ask him to give you peace about your path. Give you peace about the plan. Asking him to come and speak to you right now. Amen. So the first reflection question is Is there a plan that you need to release into God's hands today? Is there a plan that you've been holding on to, trying to figure out, that you need to release into God's hands right now? Also think about where have you already seen God bring good from an unexpected change? How can you choose trust over fear right now in this very season? I need you to spend time with the Lord today, asking Him to give you peace, peace, peace, joy upon joy upon joy, and faith will surpass all your understandings. Amen. Before we pray, I know I said that before, I want to give you words of encouragement to let you know that you are not the only one that God switches up the plan. You are not the only one that had hopes and dreams, and then God threw a caveat in that, he changed the plot of the story, right? I talked about that yesterday. I want you to know your life doesn't look the way that you imagined, but God is still working. God has not stopped working on your behalf. And if you're walking in a road right now that you just never expected to walk through at this current moment in your life, I want you to know you're not wandering away from God's care because he's walking with you in your unexpected seasons, right? And I say unexpected seasons because we walk through seasons and we like, I wasn't expecting to go through this, and I wasn't expecting to get sick, and I wasn't expecting for the relationship to fall apart, and I wasn't expecting for my job to lay me off. So there's a lot of seasons that we go through unexpected situations. But even when we go through it, God is still leading us, God is still providing for us, God is still opening doors in the midst of our storms and our trials and tribulations because he knows what's best. So I'm telling you right now, don't give up, don't quit. Keep trusting and believing in God because he is the provider, he is the judge and the juror, he eals our voice. Heals the sound when we can't speak, right? So I want you to keep on trusting and believing in God because he knows what's best. Let us go to the Lord in prayer. Holy Father, we thank you right now for your faithfulness that has never changed. Honey Father, today we surrender every broken plan, every unanswered question, and every expect every expectation that has brought disappointment, oh God. Honey Father, teach us to trust you more than we trust our own understanding. Honey Father, when doors close, help us to believe that you are still gathering our steps and let us praise you for the closed doors because we know there's something better coming our way. Honey Father, when the road challenges us, oh God, help us to remember that you are present. For you said in your word, I will never leave you nor forsake you. Honey Father, I pray for every listener right now, oh God. Surround them with your comfort, surround them with your clarity and your discernment, surround them with opportunity, surround them with the plan, oh God. Surround them with the blueprint, oh God, so they can see that you are still working on their behalf. Honey Father, when they're facing any kind of uncertainty in their life, Honey Father, fill them up with your courage, oh God. Honey Father, I just ask you right now to control the things that we are making a mess of, oh God. Honey Father, we release right now what we cannot control. Honey Father, we embrace what you are doing right now. Honey Father, we are casting our cares upon you right now. We are releasing, oh God, into your hands. God, move and have your being right now. Let us see your glory today. Let us feel your touch today. Let us hear one word from you today, oh God. Because one word will change everything. One word will bring healing. One word will bring a victory. One word will bring deliverance. One word will bring breakthrough. God, we just need one word from you. God, we know that you are pouring out love upon us today. And we know you're pouring out joy and peace and wisdom upon us today. So God, keep working on us, keep making us better each and every day because we want to be better for you, oh God. So God, we ask in your name, in Jesus' name, and the Holy Spirit name to lead us according to your will and your way. Strengthen our faith, oh God. Deepen our trust with you and fill our hearts with hope that cannot be shaken. We choose to follow you wherever you may lead us on this day, oh God. How far we believe that the plans you have for us are amazing. They are beautiful. And we know that your love will never fail. Thank you, oh God, for blessing us and keeping us and showering down upon us right now. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Amen. Always remember you are too blessed to be stressed. You are too anointed to be disappointed. And here is the reason of why. Because you got a father who loves you beyond the moon and the stars. You have a father who comes and see about you when nobody else does. You have a father that wraps you up in his love and arms when you just feel like you don't know the plans anymore. Because when he wraps you up in his love and arms, he gives you peace to know that the plan will work out according to his riches and glory. Amen. So as we leave right now, but never from God's presence, I ask you to be reminded that just because a changed plan comes your way does not mean that God canceled the promise. God is still faithful, God is still leading, and God is still working. And I want you to know never forget, you are deeply loved. You are never alone. Someone cares and God cares even more. And I care. This deals I care less. Ministries, have a blessed day.
