Welcome back to SDK Wednesdays. I'm your girl Ashley and what a week it has been. Does anybody else get messed up when we do this daylight savings time? Because I have not been sleeping right ever since. I want to start by saying thank you for taking the time out of your day to listen. And if you want to become an SDK supporter, just hit that support the show link in the description. And I believe it's either three or five dollars a month. And once I get let's say 30 supporters, I'll start doing a monthly uh raffle for gift cards. Alright, let's get in today's episode, the lies. Where do I even begin? There were so many lies I found out after. Uh let's start with when he said he was single, never married, and had no kids. Lies. And how about him telling me when his birth date was, which made us a few weeks apart? Found out from the wife and their marriage license that we he was a whole year younger than me, so he lied about his age. Lied about the daughter being his niece, lied about going to the casino with the fake uncle he killed off. Lied about not using my toe tag. For those who live in Texas, I know other states have tos as well, but here it's called a toe tag. So one day I checked the mail and it was a bill from the toe. And I asked him, I said, Did you ride on the toll road? And he said, Heck no, I don't want to waste money like that. So I proceed to call the tow people, and when I tell you I was arguing with them and tell them they had the wrong car, and a few of the charges were on a paper plate because I had got a new car about a month before I had my daughter, and I missed my challenger. But yeah, I ended up panic because it was no getting around it. And do you know when I moved out of that apartment, the movers picked up the couch and all the toll charges they sent me were underneath there? It was like five pieces of mail, so he was checking the mail and hiding the mail underneath the couch so I wouldn't find it. So I was basically arguing with the people for no reason. I just had to shake my head. Let's see, another lie I found out later. There were a few times he said his brother was short on money, so him being the good uncle he was, he stopped and grabbed some diapers, and I rode with them and sat in the car while he just ran the diapers into um the brother's apartment, and so then we would continue where we were going. So he would park and walk around the corner, but I didn't think much of it. Come to find out, the apartment was actually where his wife and kid and stepkids live, and the diapers were actually for his daughter. So I was riding with him to his wife house and didn't even know it. Feels like I could go on for days with these lies, so let's switch gears real quick. I want to start reading some of the stories I received and some of the stories people have sent me that they saw on social media. I'm gonna call this the SDK Sisters Storytime. He said he hated drama and preferred to keep his life offline. One night we went to dinner and I posted a photo of the food on Facebook. A woman commented and asked if the restaurant was in Arlington. I said yes. A minute later she messaged me privately asking if I went there with a man named David. My heart dropped. I asked why she was asking, she sent me a picture. It was a wedding photo. David standing in the tux next to her in a white dress. Her message said, That's my husband. While I was reading that message, he was literally sitting across from me at the table asking if I wanted dessert. Just wow. Now that social media, it can be tricky. I'm not I'm not big on social media, but I know a lot of cheating happens through social media. Let me read one more. My boyfriend suddenly stopped answering his phone for almost two days. I was worried something happened to him. Finally, someone answered when I called again. It was a woman. She asked who I was, and I told her I was his girlfriend. There was a long silence. Then she said quietly, I'm his wife, and he's in the hospital right now. Apparently, he had been in a car accident, and she was going through his phone to call family, so that's how we both found out about each other. And some people might call that karma. Let's try and get a couple questions in. Will you be putting your podcast on platforms where we can see you like YouTube or TikTok? Right now I'm just doing audio only. Eventually I'll probably do YouTube. One of my friends suggested that I do TikTok lives, but I have not been doing any of those. But eventually I will go on um where you can see me. Another question. Kind of crazy story. So years after I had left Houston, I had gone back because I still have friends that live there, and I actually did run into him. And when he saw me, he tried to come over and give me a hug like we were cool. And I'm just looking at him like, uh, get away from me. And I just walked away. But he was talking about he still loved me, which is kind of crazy to me. But yeah, he acted like nothing ever happened. So no, I'm not afraid of him. If you saw signs of him cheating, why did you stay with him? I didn't have proof, but when I saw these signs, it was literally a month before his wife called. With me having that time off from work, I was able to observe more. I had a clear mind, and then that's when I started noticing everything. And someone did ask why I said I was leaving him before the wife had called. It was kind of a a mix of things, and financially was one of them because every time it came down to pay rent, he always had an excuse why he wasn't didn't have the money or you know, things like that. So I'm like, why am I sitting here paying all the bills? Our daughter is with me all the time, and it just it was other things, it just wasn't working for me. So I just had to sit back and think, what am I even doing in this relationship? There is no forward progress, there is nothing really going on, and then that's when eventually the wife called, and that was just sealed the fate. What else can we expect on your show? Is this what you do full time? So I plan on having guests on my show so the ladies can tell their stories. It can be from cheating to a crazy first date from someone they met online, just any type of relationship type stories. And no, I do not do this full-time. I have a 9-5, I have a notary business, I have a logistics company, which I planned on doing dispatching, and I have a trash company, which the plan was to do door to curb service. So I just try and do different things to bring in income and you know take care of me and my daughter. And with that being said, once again, if you want to be on the show or contact me in any type of way, she didn't know podcast at gmail.com. And y'all are my family now, so SDK family. I will see y'all next Wednesday.
