Welcome back to SDK Wednesdays with your girl Ash. I'm in Houston for a few days, so my Houston family, I will be calling y'all. I'm gonna say this a lot, but thank you for all the support and the kind words, the stories I have been receiving. I cannot wait for the ladies to get on here and tell. Today's episode will be about when I finally met his wife. The week before his wife called, there was someone who kept knocking at the door, and once I saw it was a pizza guy, I didn't answer because I didn't order pizza and I thought they would go away. They continued knocking, so finally I answered and I told the man he had the wrong house. He told me this was the address given and it was for Ashley, which took me by complete surprise. I said that's my name, but I didn't order any pizza. SDK fam, why was it 10 pizzas? So he had to take them back to the store and I told him put me on the do not order list or whatever you have to do because apparently somebody is playing. I honestly thought it was somebody he was cheating on me with, been funny, but when I had talked to him after the wife had called, he said once that pizza incident happened, he knew it was only a matter of time before his wife called me. So this means his wife had my address and she knew where I lived at. So once the wife called, she wanted to meet. I almost feel like she just wanted to see what I look like. But we ended up meeting about a week later at a park, and we were just talking, and she was showing me texts he had sent to her about me. When I tell y'all, he was talking so much crap about me and how he wasn't even attracted to me and blah blah blah. Meanwhile, he was still trying to call me and get our family back together. Like, sir, we know you just trying to see if one of us gonna take you back. No, thank you. I talked to my daughter's dad a few times after I found out about the wife, but my goal was just to see how he would be involved in our daughter's life, but he will always change the subject to me taking him back. So basically, he did not want to be in her life if we were not together. I was talking to the wife maybe every other day, um, comparing dates, what lies he told both of us. It was kind of weird the few times we did meet up because I would be calling my daughter's name, and their daughter would turn around too, because of course they have the same name. So that was a bit weird. I sure asked her what made her want to marry him, and she said she married him because he said if she didn't marry him, he would kill himself. I was kind of speechless. Now, how would that make you want to get married rather than run? That's like burning red flag. She did tell me she had came to get him a few times from our other apartment, and he told her his aunt travels a lot, so that's why she couldn't come in and meet her. She showed me some pictures he had sent her over those two years we were together in the apartment we were staying in, but all the pictures looked like he was there alone. He even moved our daughter's toys out the living room. He uh had only his shoes lined up by the door. It was kind of crazy, like he was living like a real double life, maybe triple life. One of the pictures really irritated me more than the rest because it was the day after I got home from the hospital after having our daughter. He had went and got us some food, and in the picture it was the food, and the way he had it angled, it was the baby stuff was out the picture, and literally we were in the other room sleeping. I mean, that's just crazy. And she sure did say she was talking to him at nighttime while I was asleep. He did smoke black and mouth, so he would go on the patio and smoke, but I didn't know he was out there talking to his wife. Well, I guess at this point it really don't even matter. He's just a cheater, liar, narcissist, all the above. So meeting the wife was interesting, but it made me mad all over again. I wonder if she actually took him back. That's that would be crazy. Alright, let's get some questions in. This is not a question, but it seems like people are kind of curious as to what I look like. So I have a TikTok. It is catching up with Ash, a K instead of a C for catching, if you want to go take a look. Okay, question. How did you and your daughter's dad meet? We actually met on one of those little dating apps, and when I tell you they need to throw the whole date nap away, I would absolutely never do that again. Um, some people do get lucky and meet their spouse. I got my nightmare. Next question. I have so many questions. This story is almost unbelievable, but how has your life been since all of this happened? Has he tried to contact you since? My life has been more peaceful. Um he did try and contact me, I want to say maybe two years ago, and it was a couple days after our daughter's birthday, and I was like, is he trying to call and actually do something nice? Why did he call me and say he was uh had COVID, his car was broke down on the side of the road, and could I send him some money and he'll pay me back one day? Well, and I tell you, I got some good belly laughs out of that one. Sir, goodbye. Another question. I heard you say you are single. Do you ever think you will try and date again, or did he totally destroy your faith in men? He did not destroy my faith in men. I am, I guess, content. If it is meant to be for me to be in a relationship, it will happen. But right now I am very content being by myself. Do you have any advice for someone who is in an abusive relationship? I would say the first sign, run. Um, if they don't show signs, the first time anything happens, that will not be the only time. So I would get out the situation as fast as you can because I've seen, especially if you watch Fatal Attraction, there are people out here killing people. I mean, I don't understand why people would want to be with someone who clearly says, I do not want to be with you and leave me alone. That's kind of scary.
