Joy isn’t always a big life change. Sometimes it’s a laughing fit that leaves you breathless, sheets that smell like fresh laundry, a midnight album drop with friends, or the exact right song transition on your drive home. We start with one question and let it snowball: what makes life worth living?
Then we get competitive in the best way with a “Small Joy Draft,” picking our top tiny happiness moments like sweet treats, night drives with the windows down, 3 a.m. cold water, kids bringing you little gifts, and those long debriefs after something wild happens. Along the way, we talk about the small things that instantly lift your mood, from sitting in the sun for ten minutes to someone sending you a reel that says “I thought of you.” We also share the deeper stuff: how prayer and worship can bring real peace when anxiety is heavy, and why those “God wink” moments can feel like joy showing up on purpose.
We wrap by describing our perfect day in detail, slow mornings, beach time, thrift stops, bonfires, and a night that ends in a car conversation you don’t want to stop. Subscribe for more comfort-chaos friendship talk, share this with someone who needs a reset, and leave a review. Then message us your top three small joys and tell us who won the draft.

Memes And The Joy Question
SPEAKER_05Okay, welcome back to this week's episode. We are going to be talking about what gives us joy and what makes life worth living.
SPEAKER_07Life is worth living.
SPEAKER_05I'm Mary Grace, and my vocal stem for this week is Kim, there are literally people dying.
SPEAKER_03I'm David, and my vocal stem for this week is there's a caliph.
SPEAKER_08My name is Morgan, and my vocal stem for the week is Kong Con Cola Light.
SPEAKER_09Hi, my name is Gracie, and my vocal stem is Wam Wam.
SPEAKER_03I was not ready for that. I was not ready for that.
SPEAKER_04My name is Kennedy, and my favorite vocal stem for this week is I'm tired of this grandpa. Well, that's do dang bam.
SPEAKER_08I based this whole episode on the Shack meme. The life is early the bing. That's a broader. She was broad in the mix up.
SPEAKER_01That's hilarious. Oh my god. I was like, what shack meme is that? Wait, what?
SPEAKER_03I was just- I can tell I'm being too loud because Gray is actively turning my head back.
What Makes Life Worth Living
SPEAKER_08Okay. I was just pondering on that meme. That's crazy. I love to ponder on funny memes, and I was like, you know, this would make a great episode. So yeah, what do you guys like? What is your like finish a sentence? Life is worth living because we just won our first softball game.
SPEAKER_09Crazy. Crazy game. We won 10 to 7. Nice.
SPEAKER_04Kitty. Okay, mine. What makes your life worth living? One of my top ones is like those moments when you laugh so hard that you like cannot breathe. Yeah. And you're like about to topple over. Like, it's just like, gosh, I love it. Tyree Tyree. Oh gosh.
SPEAKER_08Life is worth living. Man, the laughing so hard one is good. That was one of mine. I would say life is worth living because of bed sheets that smell like fresh laundry. That is a good feeling. So good. So good. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Freedom. Freedom. Smells like freedom.
SPEAKER_08And gain.
SPEAKER_05And gain. I don't know. There's a lot of things that make life worth living. One of them for me is chocolate chip banana bread. Ooh. That's a good thing. That is like one of my all-time favorite things. Like I could just eat. I could never get it. It's one of my favorites.
SPEAKER_03I was gonna say, like, one thing that makes life worth living for me. Just one of those when it's finally nice out and you finally get a chance to go to the beach with your friends. Like that first day back to the beach is a few minutes.
SPEAKER_08It's just so nice. We had our false, false spring last week.
SPEAKER_03We got spring baited.
SPEAKER_08Somebody write that down.
SPEAKER_06We got spring baited.
SPEAKER_08Morgan.
SPEAKER_03Uh group.
SPEAKER_08Oh my god. Okay, one of the things that makes life worth living for me. I also ironically had the laughing fit thing down. Yeah, I'm glad I got to go kind of first this time. We all know the laugh. Also, we're all funny. Oh, yes. You know? Which helps. It's like when you keep adding to the joke. So good. But one of mine was like listening to like a highly anticipated new album. Like the experience of the only one I can think of, or the best one I can think of, was like in college when like Red Taylor's version came out. Yeah. And like everyone stayed up till midnight to listen together. So it was a different song. It's just so fun. I love that.
SPEAKER_06Any album, right? But that was like the one definable experience.
SPEAKER_09My other one, I would say. Okay, follow me. Follow me. Eat a salad and it's actually good. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I like how you said follow me.
SPEAKER_09A healthy crunchy green? I'm like salad. You like give that salad like you don't want to eat it, you're like, ugh, like the heck. But like when you eat a salad, you're like sick. When you eat crack of crap what?
SPEAKER_08Hey, just don't even bother. I want you to finish. Crack open plastic.
SPEAKER_06When you crash open the plastic on a Chick-fil-A cob salad and you see it, and you're like, yeah, this is gonna be good.
SPEAKER_03See that see that's how I feel with like all food.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03If it's like good, if it's a when the food is like good looking though, because like there's some times where food just don't look good.
SPEAKER_04My other one that I would do, I would say, oh, like those like random, like deep conversations, like where you when you weren't planning on like going that deep, but all of a sudden it's been like five hours at the car together, and like you're like, dang, the time's gone by. And oh yeah, I just think that those moments are like so fun, right? Because when you're not expecting it, so like we need to have a sit-down like conversation and get deep. It's like you weren't even planning on it, but now it's been six hours, and you're like, oh, oh, six hours later, and all of a sudden. And all of a sudden, we've covered everything that has ever happened to me.
SPEAKER_00Perfect.
SPEAKER_08We've covered a lot of topics. A lot of topics. If I had to choose another one, I would say life is worth living because like boats. I love going on the boats. Okay, because I love I love a good boat time with your friends, hanging out.
SPEAKER_05Are we just going around the boat? Yeah, go for it. Okay. I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but one of the things that makes life worth living for me is staying in hotels. I love to stay in those low-key, high-key.
SPEAKER_08And I'm just like, oh my gosh. Look, it doesn't have to be nice. It just has to smell like chlorine throughout the whole time. It doesn't have to be nice, it doesn't have to smell like chlorine. So listen. Oh, this five-star hotel doesn't have a chlorine smell. Let's go to the six-star. I'm leaving this wing gate right now.
SPEAKER_00That's funny.
SPEAKER_08It has to smell like chlorine.
SPEAKER_06All right. This marijuana.
SPEAKER_03Uh for me, I don't know. I don't know if any of you guys can relate or not. But after, like, just or I would say on a day off, just a nice long workout in the morning, just I love getting it out of the way, love doing it to where the rest of the day I just have, and I'm it's just nice.
SPEAKER_09Why can't we relate?
SPEAKER_03I don't know.
SPEAKER_09What are you trying to say?
SPEAKER_03Because most people don't like working out. Even if you do, you a lot of people don't. I enjoy it. I thoroughly do.
SPEAKER_05Okay. Or maybe not early in the morning.
SPEAKER_08Listen, when do you go early in the morning, David?
SPEAKER_03I went Wednesday on my last day off.
SPEAKER_08What time?
SPEAKER_03I went at nine.
SPEAKER_08Okay.
SPEAKER_03Nine isn't early. Well, Wednesday's my day off. Gotcha. So I usually have to go.
SPEAKER_04It's okay. You don't have to defend what makes you happy. Go ahead, Mr. Man? Yeah, we do.
SPEAKER_08Speaking of talking about Waist is happy. A crisp Shirley Temple?
SPEAKER_06A crisp Shirley Temple? Bro, have you ever tried to make the Shirley Temple?
SPEAKER_04That's what it is going on. I already did.
SPEAKER_07Speaking of which.
SPEAKER_09We were known in college on our hall for being like the Shirley Temple dealers.
SPEAKER_06I would keep grenadine in the dorm. I had it literally in my car, in like the center console or like the door, until I realized if I ever got pulled over and an officer saw a mixer in my car, I'm gonna be like, sir, it's just for Shirley Temple's on the go. On the go. It's just for when you get a McDonald's sprite and you want to show you.
SPEAKER_04But you don't do it anymore. The one time she's like, look in my dash, and I thought I was about to experience the Shirley Temple and it wasn't even there. I was like, what are you trying to show? Oh yeah.
unknownLook at it.
SPEAKER_08No grenadine. No grenadine. What did I come here for? What did I come here for?
SPEAKER_03Can I just say I knew great I knew somebody was gonna be like, why can't we relate, David?
SPEAKER_04Well, if you were just the way you phrased it, you know.
SPEAKER_03Well, because when I don't know, Mary Grace. Mary Grace saying it made me feel like I had to say it.
SPEAKER_09Okay, my next one is when like kids give you things. Oh, you know what I'm saying? Like, as a teacher, when I like a student like makes something for you, like gives you something, you're just like and like my single angel won't name dropper. My single angel.
SPEAKER_04You can't we've said her name before.
SPEAKER_09Vail. Ah! She loves to be name-dropped from the podcast. Veil, Vail, Vail, right here for you. She brought me eight pennies and little teacher sticky notes and magnets for my classroom. And I could cry. So I love when kids do that. Like I think of you. Yes. The wholesome one. There's not someone.
SPEAKER_04No, I actually love that. I was gonna do like being out on the water, like, not as much the beach specifically, like being out on the water. I love either doing water sports or just relaxing, you know. But when I would say life is worth living when your windows are rolled down and you're blasting your favorite. It's like summertime and like the sun is setting, and you're just like driving around listening to music. Like the main character moment. But the windows have to be rolled down specifically for it to be like that kind of moment.
SPEAKER_08No AC. No AC, no AC. In the winter, I still have to show it in the ACT. I don't even care.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. No. My car's too old for me to see.
SPEAKER_08Carbon emissions, roll them down. Forget it. Forget it. Let's see. I love this. Is probably like a bad thing, but I love watching like just wholesome videos that make me cry. Like, I will go and search and seek them out. Animal videos make me cry. Like coming home military videos will make me cry. Yeah, oh my gosh, those kills. Like I just I love crying on the internet.
SPEAKER_05On the internet. I love it.
SPEAKER_01That's interesting.
SPEAKER_05I I like when if you've had this isn't always, but one of mine is when plans get canceled.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03Not that's so real though.
SPEAKER_05Not always. But especially if you've had like a really busy week and you're like, this is an extra free night that I wasn't expecting.
SPEAKER_08Or it's like when like me when I was social two days ago was like, oh my gosh, we should do this this week. And then me, normal, was like, oh my gosh, I have to go socialize.
SPEAKER_05No, that unexpected like plans getting cancelled. I'm like, yes. Yeah, that's a good one.
SPEAKER_03Mine, uh Kenny, you kind of said it, but mine's a good late night drive with like music blasting, windows down, just cruising down the road, nobody else is on the is out. It's just that is like that's a good one. That's like one of my happy places. I genuinely love that.
SPEAKER_05I'm like good.
SPEAKER_08I was torn for my last one, so I'm just gonna full send. I honestly, this sounds so stupid, but when you take a picture and immediately you're like, that's going to the next dump. That's like you're like, and that's getting posted in about two days. Or you're like, that's a banger. And like you don't even look at it, you're just like, Yeah, this is a moment that I want to like memorialize.
SPEAKER_06You're aware, you're hanging out, you're like, yeah, like yeah, this is getting a picture.
The Small Joy Draft
SPEAKER_08Yeah. On the ground. That's a good one. Love uh you guys, that's good. You guys all have really good, joyful moments in your life. Now let's draft them. Oh in the spirit of March Madness. Which the VCU is up. That was one of my other things. I know somebody's gonna be somebody's gonna be so freaking fast. I'm not.
SPEAKER_04Okay, wait, wait, explain what we're doing for the people that are listening.
SPEAKER_08Yes, so we're doing a small joy draft. So we're gonna go around again three times, and we have to draft through one thing each round for our draft. For our joy draft. And you nobody can pick the same thing as somebody else picks.
SPEAKER_01Joy draft.
SPEAKER_08Okay.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna say sweet treats in general. Anything, anything that's a dessert, anything that has sugar in it, anything. I think that's personal. That's being hello, sweet treat. Yeah, we love that. It just makes the day better. Oh, we love.
SPEAKER_09I love it. I'm gonna stick with when kids give you things. I love that. Maybe my love language is receiving gifts, but actually, I don't think it is. Maybe it's a top two. It's okay.
SPEAKER_08Number one pick for me. When you get into bed after a shower and then you just change the sheets too.
SPEAKER_07And you do a little feet cake thing, you're like, and you can shave your legs. Yes, brush-shaved legs.
SPEAKER_06I was with you there. That one reel, it's like I get in bed, I shoot at the back end of it.
SPEAKER_08I was David, stop speaking, you can't relate.
SPEAKER_03I was gonna say I couldn't. I was relating until the shaved leg part.
SPEAKER_06Alright, this week's reel, David's gonna shave his legs on the Instagram live. What? No!
SPEAKER_08Live? Instagram live? Yes. No, two days.
SPEAKER_06No!
SPEAKER_08No! I saw one where this guy gives regular waves. No.
SPEAKER_03If we like if we get like a lot of likes on the next thing you're post, how about that?
SPEAKER_08Let's post a poll and then have people vote on like if we get a certain number of likes on the post or whatever. Yeah, okay.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I know. I'm trying to think.
SPEAKER_06Five.
SPEAKER_08That would be hard, actually.
SPEAKER_03Like 300.
SPEAKER_08300 likes. Okay. Okay. Well, we'll make it happen. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03If we if our street. If a single one of our posts, it doesn't even have to be the newest one. If any of our posts gets 300 likes.
SPEAKER_09That could actually be achieved. Shaving to the knee?
SPEAKER_03Uh oh no.
SPEAKER_06Like upper thigh. No, actually, we said we're shaving to your knee. You can stop with the knee. So specifically. Actually, it's us teaching David how to shave his legs. You do the shaving. We can share verbally.
SPEAKER_01We need to get it.
SPEAKER_08When we ask you to wear the knee, that's what we meant. He's like, no, you can go higher.
SPEAKER_01No, no, no, no.
SPEAKER_06He said, just we can go up. You can see go up. I will. You don't choose your time, but David, you can go up.
SPEAKER_04Online?
SPEAKER_08Do you need water? Online? We can shave it to me. We can wax up. Oh no. Wait, how many likes for us to wax your legs? Wait, shave one, wax one. Yeah. Wax.
SPEAKER_03I'll keep it the same. You guys decide on what you want to do if we hit 300 likes.
SPEAKER_08Okay. Okay.
SPEAKER_03It's women's month. It's women's month.
SPEAKER_09Yeah. I'll let you guys decide. Did you say women have to shave their legs? No. What?
SPEAKER_03I was gonna say, oh bro, it was just the night drive. I I think you're gonna stick with the night drive. It's just too much of a banger. That's good. Night drive.
SPEAKER_05Okay. My number one pick has to be laughing. I love that.
SPEAKER_03So yeah, like when I was coughing my lungs out just now. Yeah.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_08That's good. Yep. I would say my first pick would be. Let's see. This is hard, harder than I thought. I had water at 3 a.m.
unknownOh.
SPEAKER_09Cold water. Cold water at 3 a.m.
SPEAKER_03Cooking, cooking, clocking. I can barely have water on my day.
SPEAKER_09I'm gonna have like a three-day old sweet tea.
SPEAKER_06She should put like a hamster water bottle on the wall.
SPEAKER_03She wakes up in the middle of the night. It's like she wakes up in the middle of the night. You can't, it's like one like you barely open your eyes. You're just parched.
SPEAKER_01Grab that drink that's been sitting there, just saturated.
SPEAKER_09Oh my gosh. But I really never wake up in the night. So take that, Davey.
SPEAKER_03Well, okay, lucky you then.
SPEAKER_08Good job, good job. Lucky you then. We're good.
SPEAKER_03I wish all of us were perfect. How about you, baby?
SPEAKER_04We're going again. Oh, we're going again like that. Otraves. Bum bum bum bum. I would say, like, when someone like remembers something small about you, like a detail, and they're like, oh, I know that you don't like this. So I just being thoughtful. You know, just being thoughtful, but like it's like a something like a tiny thing you said, and they remember. And they're like, oh, I know you don't like mustard. I didn't put it on this. And you're like, oh. Like I didn't even like really say that. You just mustard. You know what I'm saying? It just makes me like, oh, like actual joy. Not even just like a happy, like whatever, like actual joy.
SPEAKER_08I love that.
SPEAKER_09That's so sweet.
SPEAKER_04So sweet.
SPEAKER_09This probably should have been my first, but winning a softball game. Yeah, that was really good.
SPEAKER_03She may or may not be recently coming off that high.
SPEAKER_09That was literally an hour ago, but I feel great.
SPEAKER_08Women's a good feeling.
SPEAKER_03Good job, girly.
SPEAKER_08Hello. Okay. My segment is like a good debrief after something has happened. Like in the hallway, a debrief over brunch, peak, in the car, McDonald's. Yeah, McDonald's. McDonald's debrief. The McDonald's debrief is crazy.
SPEAKER_03Any kind of debrief, yeah.
SPEAKER_08Yeah. I do cookout debriefs?
SPEAKER_03Classic.
SPEAKER_08Classic, yes. Because you all know why you're there. You're like, yeah, let's go get food. Cookout and debrief go hand in hand.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, like I've gathered you all here today.
SPEAKER_04The best moments is when you leave somewhere and something crazy happened, and you're like, get in my car.
SPEAKER_07Yes.
SPEAKER_04It's not happening right now.
SPEAKER_03Or you you look you look at that one buddy, you're like, yeah, I'm gonna call you on the way home.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, so as I'm walking away, I'll have to turn to someone and be like, Yeah, yay, yeah, yeah, yeah. Which they don't know what I did. I did the phone ring emo. Nonchalantly.
SPEAKER_08Nonchalantly and home. There was one time something, like a few weeks ago, something happened crazy to Morgan, and like I caught it out the side of my eye, and I was like, Yeah. I drove away five seconds later, she called me. I was like, I expected this to happen.
SPEAKER_03I've been waiting for this. I've been waiting for your call.
SPEAKER_09What was it? Say it on the pod. I'm just kidding. I know what it was. I'm just kidding. No, no, no. Or maybe Luce turn.
SPEAKER_08I don't know David's turn. You know. It's David's turn.
SPEAKER_03Um, I I'm trying not to go with the ones I chose, but like the beach thing again.
SPEAKER_04You try and pick stuff that you'll win at. It doesn't matter if you're gonna be asking.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, no, like I would say that first beach trip when the it's finally nice again. You go with the beach with your friends, you guys pack all the you know food, stuff like that. Oh peak joy experience.
SPEAKER_05What I just have peak. Just peak. Let me live. I love like I think we've already said it, but I love good, meaningful conversations. It can be like a god conversation with someone. It can be like just getting to know people. I love getting to know people's like story and just all about them. So I don't know, good conversation.
SPEAKER_08Let's see. This will be my second one. I would say Like when you're listening to music and the song that you just finished listening to transitions like so good into the next song, it's like oh you know I got that fade on my spot. Oh no, if you don't have fade on the phone, turn it on, turn it on.
SPEAKER_06Turn it on.
SPEAKER_08If you don't have fade on, you don't know, ball. You need to have fade on. Let's see.
SPEAKER_04One more, one more round. I don't know. Tell me if this is too similar to Gracie's, but like when a kid is just excited to see you, but like they're a little kid. Because like one-year-olds and two-year-olds, they their memory is crap. If you saw them last week, they're like, who are you? But like when they're like so excited to see you and they like reach for you to like hold them because they're like, you know, so happy to see you, and they like remember you because that's not an easy thing for them to be able to do, you know? Yeah. I'm just like, oh my gosh, like the baby fever that immediately consumes me. Baby fever. Baby fever. Sum it up to that. Yeah, I love that. I love that feeling. I love baby fever. Baby fever. Oh baby fever greasy.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I like I'll have baby fever and then I'll see a kid. Like a slightly like a toddler and see how they're interacting with the parents.
SPEAKER_04And I'm like, See, if you do it right, if you do it right, I'm cured.
SPEAKER_09Comes in my house. I'm cured.
SPEAKER_04Okay. Alright, Morgan.
SPEAKER_08Okay. My third and final pick. When you call an animal to you and then they actually come to you. Yes. And it's like literally like any dog, any cat. Sometimes when I like to put my finger out, yeah, yeah. When I hold my finger out and a dragonfly lands on it, I'm like, freaking love dragonflies.
SPEAKER_06Land on my finger. That is a good one. Oh my god, treading water. I'm like, please. I love that.
SPEAKER_07That's good. That's good. David.
SPEAKER_02Oh, it's back to me again. We're bringing this trying to do that. I know, I know, I know, I know. I don't know. I gotta do one that I know will just win.
SPEAKER_09That's kind of the point.
SPEAKER_01That's what we're trying to do.
SPEAKER_03Honestly, just those like random nights where all your family is in one room. Not like for any reason. You're all just home hanging out with each other, and it's just a good hangout.
SPEAKER_04Like a good just Yeah, that actually will win. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_09Growing up makes it so much harder. Alright. Baby. Let's not make anyone sad, okay?
SPEAKER_03That wasn't supposed to be sad. That was supposed to be joyful. I love it. Yes. I love that.
SPEAKER_09This kind of goes along with the kid one. The people pleasing in me. When like high schoolers like you. Yeah. You know? Yeah. High schoolers, they just they're so scary.
SPEAKER_03And when they're like Bro, those are my boys. Chill, man.
SPEAKER_09Me too. I have a lot of them that I mentor and talk with, whatever. It doesn't matter. But just like when they're like, no, like you're cool. Like you're chill. It's like, yeah. I'm like, yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, I am. Yeah, thanks. You know? Thanks, man. That's cool. That's good.
SPEAKER_05No, that was a good one, David. I do love when like all of my family is in the same room because that doesn't happen super, super often. But I will say another one since he already said that. When you go to the movie, it's still with your family, but when you go to the movies with your family, or just go to the movies in general late at night. I think that that is always a fun one. Yeah. The late night movie trips with your favorite.
SPEAKER_03A bizarre experience is when you go to the movies when it's light out and you come out when it's dark. It's always so weird. It always throws me off.
SPEAKER_08Yes. And I'm so excited for this year too because the Marvel movies are kind of like Spider-Man. Spider-Man!
SPEAKER_03The movie's gonna be four hours. It looks so good. It looks so good.
SPEAKER_07It's gonna be a secret second movie.
SPEAKER_03After the credits? It's just a whole nother movie.
SPEAKER_08The ending credit scene is just another hour long. Yes.
SPEAKER_03That is, and if if that doesn't happen, I'm suing.
SPEAKER_06Five. Five claim.
SPEAKER_03Who?
SPEAKER_08I said the actor is for reference. David, anyways, I would say my play. To follow up.
SPEAKER_03A woman is speaking. I cannot wait until this month is. I'm joking. I'm joking.
SPEAKER_06What the David sexist is not true.
SPEAKER_08Chat clip that.
SPEAKER_03I have three.
SPEAKER_08No, no, no.
SPEAKER_03Ban for ban to prove I'm not.
SPEAKER_08Ban for ban. So, okay, so my last one is to follow up all the wholesome time with your family and everything. Mine is similar to like the hotel, but specifically, I lot like the tight hotel sheets. Like when they're like tight, like it's kind of like similar to wearing a weighted blanket, but like you know, like you're trapped. You're harassed.
SPEAKER_03I think Tyree just wants to be swaddled.
SPEAKER_08They haven't swaddled. I just I love feeling like I can't escape. She just needs a hug. She just needs to hug. Somebody's just to hold her.
SPEAKER_03We need to get her a like.
SPEAKER_08I love feeling like I'm trapped. I love feeling like I've trapped. Like I can't my entire thing. Even now I do that. Like when I get under my covers, I have to like like turn around to make sure that I'm tucked in from every single angle. So I love how tight the bench sheets are.
SPEAKER_03Then when you wake up in the morning, release me.
SPEAKER_08You're like, get off my but you can only get in. You can only get in and you can only get out through the top. You cannot move that sheet off your mind. You have to slide in like that.
SPEAKER_03You have to slither out. Slither out. Like you're a snake shedding its skin.
SPEAKER_06You cannot flip over and grab the headboard and pull yourself out of the head.
SPEAKER_08You cannot disrupt the integrity of the tight sheet. She's just forgetting twice. Really? Lily. I love that's the best feeling ever to me. Goodness gracious. Oh my goodness. I think that concludes our picks. Ma'am, I think we all had good picks. I do think so. Really good.
SPEAKER_06So let's have one.
SPEAKER_08Listeners, let us know what three small joys you would pick. Who would you go with? Who would you go with?
SPEAKER_04Excuse me. We really want to know who wins.
SPEAKER_08We do want to know. What's the prize?
SPEAKER_09Should we pick a prize? David has a shave his legs. Yeah. That is not what I agreed on.
SPEAKER_03That is not what I agreed on.
SPEAKER_01Don't lose some. Please don't pick mine. Please don't pick mine.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, let us know who wins and who loses, and either will get a choice in what we do to David.
SPEAKER_00No. I'm not. I don't agree to this.
SPEAKER_08Chat, we're gonna set David on fire. They all would.
SPEAKER_03What did I do? What did I do? I didn't ask, I did not ask to be born a man. I did not ask to be born. Alright.
Instant Mood Boosters
SPEAKER_08David, shut up. Next segment. So we're gonna talk about little small things that like, you know, maybe you're not having the greatest day, or maybe you're just like, yeah, whatever. Small things that like will immediately make your mood like amazing. Mine is when I don't know, like somebody like does something super nice for you, like pays for your coffee, like unexpectedly. Something like that. I'm like, oh my gosh. You're so nice. Things like that.
SPEAKER_05Well, I was gonna say the the number one for mine would be like prayer and worship. I feel like that might be an obvious one.
SPEAKER_08And and we're done with that. And and we're done with that. She summed it all up. And that's all.
SPEAKER_04And now David has to follow that up again.
SPEAKER_03Thank you. Follow it up, David.
SPEAKER_08David's gonna say God of War.
SPEAKER_03No! I'm staying away from gaming, alright? We talked about that enough the last like three. For me, I don't know. If I'm like having a hard day at work or like even just at home, like just any kind of thing. Having a good just taking a break, going outside and like sitting in the sun for like a solid like 10 or 15 minutes. Just taking just taking that in and just realizing and then I'm back at it. I feel great. I'm like a plant.
SPEAKER_00Photosynthesis. Photosynthesis. I'm like a flower.
SPEAKER_03Get all that sun in you and then just go back at it. Yes.
SPEAKER_08Rome has vitamin C and vitamin D. He just shut up.
SPEAKER_04That's hilarious.
SPEAKER_07He's ignored in the sun.
SPEAKER_08He's just so whimsy.
SPEAKER_03I am whimsy. Guys, it's my first, it's my first time living life. Okay.
SPEAKER_08Oh gosh. I think so. This for me, this uh I don't know how to say this. When you like take like a day or like a certain amount of time, just yourself doing something that you love, you know what I mean? Like if I'm gonna be like, I have a block of time when I'm like, I just really need to like clear my head or whatever, I'm like, I'm gonna go like vinyl shop. I'm gonna go drive to the beach by myself and like walk on the beach by myself. Do you ever pretend you're like you're a different person? Yes. Like doing every time.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_08I go and I'm like, what if I had this personality today? Yeah. What if I was named Moira?
SPEAKER_01What?
SPEAKER_08I said she likes the watercolor. Phone in the cheese.
SPEAKER_07I can't even say it. Phone it and check it in.
SPEAKER_04Fold it. I love her so much. Grace.
SPEAKER_09I would say for me, literally, just go in and go get a slurpee. I love how to do that. High key. We make a lot of slurpee. That would cure me. But like in the summer, though. Like in the summer. Not in the winter. In the summer. In the summer. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04I would say, like, I don't know. Like late night walks. Like, but it's like past midnight, and you're all like, like in my neighborhood. Yeah, like a little convenience store, like a quarter mile away. Huh?
SPEAKER_02You get kidnapped like that.
SPEAKER_04Okay, not alone. I'm saying like with a group of friends, like you're all hanging out, and it's like midnight, and you're all like, let's go out and take a walk.
SPEAKER_03You are walking alone. No, I would never.
SPEAKER_04So you mean tell me you weren't listening to her? I would never. Okay, I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_03I was listening.
SPEAKER_04I didn't clarify. I didn't clarify. She did not clarify, Tyree. She didn't remember. You weren't listening to her. Like not. Yeah, she did. We'll look, we'll look back. We'll look back. I don't remember. I remember. But no, when I was like before I could drive, that's all that's as far as we could go. So it was just the best, the best moments were those times. So I just like that. But I think generally people can relate to a late night walk with your people. Yeah. Like the post-dinner walk with your siblings or something like that. Yes, yes. Bike rides once it gets nice when you're with your family when you were little. Oh dang. So good.
SPEAKER_08No, I love it. I I think in the same vibe, like I think just being out late, like you don't have to get up early in the next morning, being out late with your friends, and just having a grand old time with each other. Just laughing, hooting and hollering. Yes. Love it. Getting into it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05I mean, I think just being outside in general, like I have a couple favorite places. Like I love obviously the horse barn, but like just being anywhere in the countryside in general, as soon as I start seeing like more grass and less buildings, I'm happy. And then the beach. But like an instant, an instant like pick-me-up after like a day of work is when you go outside for a more specific example. When you've been like cold in your office all day and you go outside and your car's been sitting in the sun. Yeah. And then you go and you're instantly like warmed up all from your head to your toe. Yes. Because of peak napping conditions. So good. But yeah, just being outside in general, in the sun, kind of like David's, but more specifically, I'm happiest if I'm like in at the worst barn in the country somewhere. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I don't know. Just like a good, like, I don't know, like say it's been a long day. You're or you're like halfway through today, it's been stressful and stuff like that. Just taking that nice lunch break. Like either it might be just that meal that you packed, or you go and get your favorite foods from somewhere. Or even you take a nap. A good nap.
SPEAKER_07You take a nap.
SPEAKER_03That good work nap in your car. You wake up a little sweaty.
SPEAKER_08Yes. You wake up a little sweaty, a little disoriented.
SPEAKER_03Uh-huh. You gotta walk back in. Your coworkers are like, man, you look like you just woke up. I was like, I did it.
SPEAKER_01I did it, I did it.
SPEAKER_07I didn't wake up.
SPEAKER_03I've been fully awake all day, actually. I never sleep.
SPEAKER_07I never sleep.
SPEAKER_03But yeah, just kind of like that midday pick me up. Kind of need it.
SPEAKER_08Morgana.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, maybe lock in.
SPEAKER_08I am right now. I am one man.
SPEAKER_06I'm finna.
SPEAKER_08No, I think one of mine is like when you find a new song that I mean, just a new song in general that's good, but like when I attach like emotions or like a memory to a new song. I love it. That I'm just like, like we had it the other week where we showed each other, like, oh, this is what I think of when I listen to the song. I love that. I love that. But I love it when I make the new connection to a song. Yeah. And then I'm like, yeah, I'm gonna listen to this for two weeks straight. Yes. And it's gonna be my lifeline two weeks. This is all I'm gonna listen to. So is that like a universal experience? Because I will go through phases where there's some days where I only listen to the same song. Like on repeat. And it's all I can handle.
SPEAKER_06I just want to listen to all of the same songs one day this summer. We're the only song I listened to, I think, for I mean it may it might have been the whole day, but I a good chunk of it was Don't Speak. I was like driving to work on don't listening. And no one's not. Can we play with daggers?
SPEAKER_08We put this on the odds.
SPEAKER_04What's going on? Gracie. Uh or do you want to get Graciana?
SPEAKER_05What makes you feel better when you've had like a hard day or you've been in a bad mood or something like that? Something that puts you in a joyful mood immediately.
SPEAKER_09Got it now. When somebody like sends you a reel or like a TikTok and they're like, I thought of you. Yeah. Whether it's like funny or whether it's like I'm listening now. Facebook. Yeah. Facebook vibes. But it's like, hey, like, just just thought of you. Like that's good. I love that. I love that.
SPEAKER_04Yes. That yeah is good. I would probably say like when you get home and you can watch a movie. I love like good quality movies. Like, I feel like more than the average person, but maybe that's not true. So it just makes me way happier. Shoot, my ringer.
SPEAKER_08Something that puts you in such a better mood. Like, same vein of what Mary Grace is saying a little bit earlier about worship. I feel like when you like, right, like anxiety and like like fear, like weird thoughts can exist at the same time that there's praise. And so I feel like anytime and I think the Lord always meets you in those unexpected ways too, when you are having a crappy day or whatever, and you just turn to worship, and it's like all of a sudden life is worth living.
SPEAKER_05That is the best thing because that's literally the only thing that can bring a true true peace when you're having a tough time. Yeah, it's good. Anybody?
SPEAKER_08Like that's cool. Like my mom calls it God wings, where it's like there's something that it's like so specific that you're kind of like, oh, or like something that you love to see and you get to see that like that day. Like we have a friend that loves when like birds are like migrating together, or like in the big thing. And so anytime she sees one, she like freaks out about it and is like, oh yes, like I love when that happens, but it doesn't always happen. But like she sees one. I think I think she's like every time she's in the car, she'll see one. Yeah, like no matter where she is, she will see one that day. And she's like, That's a little like that's a little God thing. I like that kind of thing. So anytime I have that happen, where it's just like, oh, I wish this song would come on right now, and then it comes on the thing. I'm like, Yes, I love that. I love when that happens, yeah. Or like to a stranger, and you're just like, oh my gosh, you're so sweet, or like, I don't know. Yeah, you get a text from somebody like hey, praying for you, like anything like that. I'm just like, shut up. I love that.
SPEAKER_05Which I just like those reminders that we have such a intentional and like he cares about the details, like that's the God that we serve. So the little he cares about the little our ultimate source of joy, period, period.
What Our Perfect Day Looks Like
SPEAKER_08There is fullness of their mind. Don't let me freak. Okay, so this is very off. This is going rogue, guys. Whoa, whoa. Whoa, going rogue. However, we were watching Caleb Aaron and Brittany Broski, and they asked this one question, and I thought it was really good. Describe what your guys' perfect day would be. Good question. Like what your guys' perfect day would be. I could start first, and that'll help you guys think. Or have more time to think. My perfect day would be waking up at like 8:30 in the morning. Sun is already up, so it's summertime. Sun is up, I can hear the birds chirping. When it's summertime, I like to sleep with my windows open so I can hear the birds chirping, and it's just like such a peaceful morning, and I'm like, ugh, life is so good. I have plans to go to the beach already made. So I get up, start getting ready, have little eggs, some eggs in the morning, and probably am at the beach by like 10 in the morning with all my best friends. You guys are all there. We're at the beach. We have like a ball or whatever. Grey, you're allowed to come. You're allowed to come. You're allowed to come. Not gabe swims. Grey, you're allowed to come out. You know who you are. You know who you are. Um we're all there at the beach, and my favorite thing to do at the beach is like wave jump. And so we're all out there jumping the waves, you know, beating them up, punching the waves. We're all out there, we all have little snacky snacks, and we're out there literally all day, and then we have a bonfire out on the beach. And I love going to the state that's south of us, North Carolina. Can I say that?
SPEAKER_06She said south of us.
SPEAKER_04I don't think they can track you down basically.
SPEAKER_08Okay, good. Um, I love going to the outer banks. I love going to like perfect end of the day, getting dinner at fish heads, shout out, sponsor us, please. And just like finishing off the day, like with a bonfire on the beach, going home and taking the after beach, after sun shower. Yes, literally peak, and then going to bed. Going to bed. Going to bed and getting a full eight hours of sleep. That was my perfect day.
SPEAKER_05I feel like mine would be pretty similar. You did remind me of another joy. It's like when you've been on the beach all day and you go in for lunch and to get that turkey and cheese sandwich.
SPEAKER_09Doritos on it.
SPEAKER_08With Doritos on it. Yeah. Fresh cut watermelon. Yup.
SPEAKER_05Unlocked another joy. But no, I feel like mine would be similar. It would definitely involve like having like being able to sleep in a little bit and then being outside in some way. Like being outside. The beach is one of them, going and just even working outside. Like, I'm fine with doing like chores outside if I'm just outside, you know?
SPEAKER_08Mary Grace can man the fort. I can make sure. Make the house. She can make sure that the blankets don't blow away. And I would because I'm all dig out the sand moat. Why should you do it? Just digging.
SPEAKER_05I would say probably pretty similar. Being outside in some way, being with my friends and family, hanging out with them, and then bonfires. I love doing like a bonfire. In the evening, but probably doing some like worship around the bonfire or doing some yeah like singing and stuff. Yeah, and then no adding to that, knowing that the next day you don't have to go to work. Correct.
SPEAKER_08Because sometimes that takes my perfect day, I don't have a job.
SPEAKER_06I'm not employed. Unemployment.
SPEAKER_08Insecure. Unsecure.
SPEAKER_05Because that can kind of take away from the perfect day when you know that tomorrow I'm gonna have to get up and go to work. So not having that.
SPEAKER_08That's so true. That's so real. Because sometimes remembering that you have to work the next day can ruin it. Ruin the whole day. Ruin the whole day. I had a great day today. Tomorrow's gonna suck. They're forced dated.
SPEAKER_05Maybe we drive around and get ice cream, listen to music. We find a random oh absolutely one of one of my part a part of my perfect day would be going on a random adventure. Like totally, totally spontaneous, random. We find a random place and like that we want to explore and we all go looking for crabs, digging them up. Yeah, looking for crabs. That's one of them too. But yeah, just being like, hey, do you want to just go drive around until we find something cool? Like that would be another part of it. David?
SPEAKER_03Okay, my perfect day probably be a day, like obviously, don't have work that day and don't have work the next day. It was like the perfect weekend. Wake up early and you know, get a good breakfast and go to a flea market with some friends, spend a good amount of time that doing that, hang out with them for the majority of the day. It doesn't really matter what we go do. Maybe we go to the mall, maybe we go hang out, find something to do, some search stores, stuff like that. Then kind of towards the middle of the day, disperse. We all go do our own thing. I because I like to work I want to work out. After we're done working out, after I'm done working out, like an hour or two later, we all meet back up again, hang out for the rest of the night, and just you know, hang out. Don't worry about how late we get home because I don't have to work the next day. That's like the perfect day for me.
SPEAKER_05Period. Yeah. It's a good day, brother.
SPEAKER_03I know a little messy in the middle when everybody splits up, but then we gets happy because we all joined back. We all come back in the end. Yeah. And that has happened to me multi-those kind of days happen a lot with my friend group.
SPEAKER_08I think mine wake up at 8, 8:30, natty, no alarm. I wake up and the sun hits, and I'm just like, and I'm fully rested. Yeah. Go up, get an absolutely crisp coffee. Yeah. Some avocado toast. Avocado toast. Okay, surrounded by my friends. Of course. I walk out of the room and everyone's there.
SPEAKER_09And I'm not socially drinked.
SPEAKER_08No, yeah, I'm not socially drinked at all. Yes. Oh but gosh. Okay. I also similarly think it probably would be like a beach adjacent day, or like maybe like a good shop, a good thrift, and then like 11 a.m. we're hitting the beach. And we're going.
SPEAKER_03You gotta go early. You can't go middle of the day.
SPEAKER_08There for a little bit, whatever. We leave, go back, post beach, shower, get changed, go to dinner. Yes. And then we like go see a movie or like play board games or something like that. And then the whole day, Spotify gives me the best day lists I've ever had.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_08Like I it's a random shuffle playlist and they cook. And they cook. And that's what I need.
SPEAKER_09But this is cottage core grandmother from Maine. Yeah.
SPEAKER_08Coastal grandmother? Yeah, that's my ideal Spotify playlist name. And it happens frequently. But yeah, no. I think that's it. That's a good day. Wonderful day. Guys, what if we just plan that day? I was gonna say, what if you just the same day?
SPEAKER_04Except for the being in your house while you wake up. That might be a good idea. Yeah, maybe that's we sleep over. Yeah, we can do it actually. I'm trying to do that. No. Okay.
SPEAKER_08No, I'm so sorry. My perfect day would involve me sleeping in my own bed.
SPEAKER_09You're right. You're right. I'm so sorry.
SPEAKER_08You're right.
SPEAKER_09My perfect day is 4th of July. She wins. She wins. She wins. Let's see.
SPEAKER_05America.
SPEAKER_09It's middle of summer.
SPEAKER_04Is that your favorite holiday, really?
SPEAKER_09No, probably not.
SPEAKER_04It's up there.
SPEAKER_09But it's summer. It's podium for like you're American. It has to be up there.
SPEAKER_08That is your favorite holiday. What are you talking about? Be honest.
SPEAKER_09Thank you, America. It's not a good thing. Love America. Just because of like what you do. You know? Anyway. So it is. It's waking up in Kitty Hawk. Yeah. And we wake up at like 8 30. Yeah. Good time. Peak time. You guys are all there, friends are all there, all my family's there. It's a good time. And then we go to Ashley's. Yeah. Furniture?
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_08No, no, no. It's the best coffee ever. Espresso parlor. That's my coffee. That's my coffee from my house. Around these parts, I have Ashley furniture. We will go on a vacation this summer.
SPEAKER_06My neck of the woods.
SPEAKER_09We got you. And then listen, listen, this is a this is a crazy of a day. We go to Ashley's for a coffee. Wave Riders for a bagel. Oh.
SPEAKER_07Okay.
SPEAKER_09Then everyone's there. Trust you have a car big enough to fit everyone. Listen to good music. Windows down on the beach with coming back. Eating real quick. Whatever. Going to the beach. Yeah. Okay? We're hanging out there. I would say from like what? 10 to 2, 10 to 3, whatever. Maybe PQV, right? And we also have a private beach access. So it won't be as crowded as.
SPEAKER_07And a speaker.
SPEAKER_09That's important. And a speaker. That's important.
SPEAKER_08And the JBL. Gotta happen.
SPEAKER_09Don't worry. And Spike will.
SPEAKER_07Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And spike will spike walk.
SPEAKER_09Yeah, yeah. Ultra. It's V11, actually. Yes, yes, yes, yes. Oh, I'm so excited. This is happening. This could happen this year, though. This could happen. It's gonna happen. Yeah, anyway. Then come back, shower. Mm-hmm. Push shower.
SPEAKER_08Made it orange? The post-shower is a part of it. It's a part of it. Eat an orange in between. Yeah, it's shower.
SPEAKER_09Then I'm not done. Listen, listen, listen. Then we go to the outlets to go shopping a little bit. She's cooking. Freshly shower, do you freshly feel good? The UV's maybe at like an eight now. Yeah. Fulfilling it. Then you go to dinner. Either we can grill out and eat dinner. Or like go somewhere at dinner. Up to you. Yeah. Mind you, hot dogs are there. Yeah. Hot dogs. Potato salad. If we're not with the four salad. It is the fourth salad. It is the fourth. The fourth.
SPEAKER_00She said, we got it with the fourth.
SPEAKER_09I'm a giddy. I'm getting right now.
SPEAKER_06You're listening to Hamilton all day?
SPEAKER_09Don't go ahead of me. Then yeah, hanging out or board games, whatever it may be. Then we go to the top of the roof. We paint a little bit if we want. Not hanging out with a speaker. Then come back in. Well, then we say up while we're painting fireworks, right? Because it's nighttime by fireworks on each. It's the fourth. It's the fourth. We remember. Lit, lit, lit, all that stuff. My dog has her thunder coat on because she gets anxious. Oh gotta have it. Gotta have it. So sad. Yeah. Anyway. And then come back and watch Hamilton. Yeah. Yeah. That's give or take, depending on my day. But yeah. Anyway. That's your perfect 4th of July day. Isn't that so good?
SPEAKER_08No better way to celebrate the fourth. Like joy. No better way to celebrate the birth of our nation than watch Hamilton.
SPEAKER_09Right, that's right.
SPEAKER_08We got to. Thank you. Limbonwell Miranda. No, sir. Thank you for your service.
SPEAKER_09Mariah, right now, this is you.
SPEAKER_07No. No. I'm Eliza. No. Eliza. Don't say that. Don't guys say that.
SPEAKER_03I have to make a confession.
SPEAKER_09No.
SPEAKER_07David's shut up right now.
SPEAKER_01Can I say that? We don't want to hear it. We don't want to hear it.
SPEAKER_04He's never seen Hamilton. We'll just go.
SPEAKER_01What have you been doing for the past He's a sleeper agent?
SPEAKER_04Six years. What have you been doing? All the Hamilton jokes we make, you don't even understand it. You just pretend to laugh.
SPEAKER_00I don't laugh. I don't laugh.
SPEAKER_04No. This is the same with the Twilight thing where you let Morgan hang out and die and then we're going to be able to do that. You already got the heat for never seeing the game. And then you're like, guys, guess what? I've never seen it either. And I've never seen the Hunger Games. Like, what kind of culture have you had?
SPEAKER_03I saw the first one of the Hunger Games.
SPEAKER_09And you didn't keep going? We could change that.
SPEAKER_03I watched it when it came out.
SPEAKER_08Oh, okay. Okay. I never seen it. And you didn't feel a need to watch the second? It's terrible. I didn't like it. Okay, what's your excuse about Hamilton?
SPEAKER_04I just never watched it. He's not into it. He hits it. It's America.
SPEAKER_09You're not invited to my fourth. No Hamilton.
SPEAKER_08Chat! No, send him back. Send him back to England right now. Yeah. My prerequisite you have to watch Hamilton so we can sing. And there's no performative tea dumping, okay? You cannot win her back. You cannot win back her fourth. You cannot win back her north.
SPEAKER_00Oh, watch it. Alright.
SPEAKER_04That disgrace is an American. Really is. Anyway. I didn't say I wouldn't. Even my Canadian family has has seen Hamilton once.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you're Canadian. Never mind.
SPEAKER_04What are you going to say about my Canadian family?
SPEAKER_03I'm going to say you're Canadian over there, talking about freedom. Okay.
SPEAKER_04I just live here.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, half the time you're in Canada.
SPEAKER_04So my perfect day. I'm probably going to sleep until like 9. I'm going to push the 8:30 thing. I again want to wake up on my own. If an alarm goes off, I don't feel like I got a good one. Whatever, whatever. Then breakfast is already made for me by my great family. That's never happened, but yeah, my Canadian family is there. And no, it's just like a good breakfast. I'm talking like everything. Like all the like sausage and eggs and bacon and pancakes, like all of it. Sausage. Alright. Okay. Sorry, let me reset. Let me reset. So, yes, a great breakfast, and then I want to have like a slow morning where I don't really do very much. I'm like getting ready slowly. I go ahead and turn on a movie. I start to bake something that I've never baked before, but you know it's gonna probably turn out good, and it's just like either it's an epic fail that none of my family can swallow, or it's gone in five seconds.
SPEAKER_08I've never had anything bad by you. No, thank you. Can I cook and baking?
SPEAKER_04I cook and paint, guys. Wife me up. No, I'm kidding. So where was I? So I'm doing that while the show is on, okay? So I can see it from my kitchen. Good. But it's like it's my comfort show. So I'm watching while you were sleeping, while I'm baking. Then I have plans in the afternoon. It doesn't have to specifically be, I don't know, it probably dinner with friends or anything. Maybe we're like going out to do like an escape room or something. Like there's some event where we're all together that we're having fun, but that's not till honestly. I don't want it to be a late night, so I want to say like it's starting at five. Like people are ready. I don't have work again, obviously. So I just spend that those hours doing like nothing, like whatever I want to do, not anything specific. Getting ready slowly. I don't want to be rushed. I don't want to be rushed. So then I'm there with my friends, and then we go to multiple locations, and the night just never seems to end. And then we end in somebody's car talking about you know the deep stuff. And you're like, wow. And I don't even have to worry about sleep because tomorrow is another day where I sleep.
SPEAKER_07Yes.
SPEAKER_05I think that's that's an important day. That's the thing for all of us. Yeah. That's so good. I think for all of our days, there's an element of like sleeping in. Well, we like to sleep in. For everything that we said that happened in our day, like to know that it doesn't have to happen. Like it's very flexible. Like you said, like every take things slowly, you don't feel rushed. If we feel like, hey, we were gonna do this today, but now we're probably not. That's okay because it's a very laid-back, like relaxing day. You go at your pace. If you don't have the energy to go out and do anything, then you can just relax. You can just stay. So I just I don't know. I like to do fun things. I like I find a lot of fun things that we already talked about relaxing too. But to have the option to not is also part of a good day.
SPEAKER_08Yeah. So it sounds to me like we all need to get together, go to the beach, wake up, nine o'clock, go to the beach in the early afternoon, escape room in the evening.
SPEAKER_04Top it off. It's gotta be like something bonding has to happen. Like there's gotta be a story from that day, perfect day. A day with a day. Like, remember when that happened? Like, those are the best days because you remember them because like something wild happened.
SPEAKER_08Okay, it's gotta be like a bingy escape room or something. We cannot go to that escape room where we were handcuffed and blindfolded.
SPEAKER_06What? No, I'm so gonna miss that. I was supposed to be at that.
SPEAKER_04And then y'all said we had I didn't read what it was about. I'm like, I'm about to be freaking murdered. Not even in a funny way.
SPEAKER_08I read what it was about, but I didn't think they were gonna handcuff us. I was like, oh no, it's gonna get into themes on the escape room.
SPEAKER_04Yes, and then we were like, the lights were turned off and we were blindfolded, and I was like, oh my gosh. Luckily, apparently for safety reasons, I backed away from the chain to step back, and it's like magnetically attached to the wall, so I was free. He's like, Can you go ahead and put that back on?
SPEAKER_03You're like, oh, hey, can you please chain yourself back up? Oh yeah, my bad. Oh yeah, my bad.
SPEAKER_08I think we all have the most perfect, perfect day.
SPEAKER_01Yes.
Instagram Polls And Closing
SPEAKER_03I think we all are pretty good. Well guys, that was what episode was that? I wanna sorry. Alright. And what is our Instagram name?
