Just Us Talking
The Hot Seat ft. Morgan
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Morgan is in the hot seat, and we waste absolutely no time getting to the stories. What starts as goofy “favorite bird” energy turns into a fast-moving chain of questions that somehow produces both the funniest moment of the season and a genuinely grounding take on how to live. If you love a friendship podcast with playful roasting, and the kind of humor that feels like a group chat come to life, you’re in the right place.
We talk childhood trouble (including the unfairness of getting grounded for being funny), the phase Morgan went way too hard in (beanies and chokers, even when it’s 80 degrees), and the moment gravity publicly humbled her in a grocery store. From there we hit fantasy worlds, school dance lore, dumb ways to get in trouble, and the unexpectedly emotional attachments that can sneak up on you, like crying over the anglerfish video or grieving a tiny car plant left behind during a trade-in.
Then the questions get more “adult” without losing the bit: red flags, pet peeves, the air guitar ick, reality TV picks, and the most grown-up thing that still feels like a scam (looking at you, personal property tax). We close with Morgan’s outlook on life: prioritize the right things, keep your faith and your people close, and still remember it’s not that serious. Life can be joyful and full of whimsy if we let it.
If this made you laugh or hit a little too close to home, subscribe, share it with a friend, and leave a review. What’s your most embarrassing story or your most irrational ick?
Favorite Birds And Chaos Warm-Up
SPEAKER_02Welcome back to just us talking. This week, Morgan is in the hot seat. So it's gonna be really fun. I'm Mary Grace, and my favorite bird, I'm gonna say Blue Jay. Okay. Okay, Mordecai.
SPEAKER_00Hello guys. I'm David, and my favorite bird is a classic, the American Eagle. The Bald Eagle. The Bald Eagle, the American one.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_09My name is Kennedy, and my favorite bird is a hummingbird.
SPEAKER_11My name is Gracie, and my favorite bird is Tweety Bird.
SPEAKER_10I have to say, I like this one more. It's just one more.
SPEAKER_08My name is Morgan, and my favorite bird is a mocking jay.
SPEAKER_03Wait for that.
SPEAKER_05Performative auburst. No, no.
SPEAKER_08My grandparents have like a bunch of bird watching in their backyard. We always do a growing up, and my favorite were like those are like the sparrows.
SPEAKER_11We just not biblical sparrows. Okay. Sparrow.
SPEAKER_10How much more will he clothe you? Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_07Letter letter free.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_08Sorry, Tyree. One of those. Hey Tyree's favorite bird. Hi guys.
SPEAKER_10My name is Tyree. My favorite bird is a cardinal.
SPEAKER_08Good. A cardinal. A cardinal. Cardinal.
SPEAKER_06Why are you saying cardinal like that? You say bird. The Virginia State Bird. I love my state. She's patriotic.
SPEAKER_08Virginia's for love. Lovers of cardinals.
SPEAKER_07Can you stop repeating your names? The monkey bird! When I think something is really funny, I just have to say it for funny symbols. We do the same thing. And this is just Morgan talking.
SPEAKER_04What a start. Morgan!
SPEAKER_07How do you feel? Okay, what are you doing? Before the interview?
SPEAKER_08Yes, we are. Before the interview, I feel nervous, but I'm also I'm laughing a lot tonight already. We're already getting this guy so bad. You're gonna have to cut all this. You're gonna get all this clean again.
SPEAKER_04Re-record the entire episode.
SPEAKER_08Word for word, memorize it.
SPEAKER_11Word for word for words. I have a first question. Go for it. Go for it. Who's your favorite in the room?
SPEAKER_08Gracie. I can't. It's grey. We all know it's gray. I'm going to go to the room. Solomon's not in the room. Yeah, Solomon's not here. I can't answer that. Yeah. Salmon is. I think by law I have to plead the fifth. But we know it's grace.
SPEAKER_10So let's dig into some childhood.
SPEAKER_03Alrighty, right off the bat.
SPEAKER_10Let's get there. Let's just skip the fluff.
Childhood Trouble And School Fear
SPEAKER_10Let's go straight to childhood. Right.
SPEAKER_08So, what did you get in trouble for the most as a kid? Okay, I, okay, out of my siblings, I was the least amount of trouble, I would say. Sure. Good. It was always for stupid things whenever I got in trouble. Sure. David stopped. David is actually listening.
SPEAKER_07And I don't like it. You don't like it.
SPEAKER_08It was just for like really stupid stuff. I think the most though was when my brothers were already in trouble. And then I would stand behind my parents while they disciplined them. And then people would be like, ha ha ha.
SPEAKER_04You're evil.
SPEAKER_08And then they'd be like, and I was like, dang it, I got grounded too. What I was doing was funny. What they were doing was wrong. Grounded by being funny is not fair. And let me laugh. Why would you never let me cheer? No, but it was that for at home. At school, I was deathly afraid of getting in trouble. And like I, it's ironic to say it now, but like at home, full personality, at school, dead quiet. And like I remember the first time I got in trouble for talking at school was in the fifth grade, and my mom was happy for me.
SPEAKER_07She was kind of proud and she was like, but you talked. Are you sure? At least she talked.
SPEAKER_08She talked. She talked. I'm just one of my friends in my class. I was like, getting in trouble for talking is such a scam. That's crazy. Let me just be me, okay? Let me just beat me. Let me just be me. I'm like, you can bleep out her name, but Miss, look. You know, I never talk like that. And she actually follows me. She is listening right now. The funniest part is I had her in the fifth grade and I had her again in the tenth grade because she doesn't think change grades. And then like I was at that point, full yap. You shouldn't be able to do that. Change grades. I know that much. She was small change. Fifth to ten? I don't want to see you again.
SPEAKER_11Five years later.
unknownI don't want to see you again.
SPEAKER_11Was she qualified to teach 10th?
SPEAKER_08I would say yes. She should have been. I would I would say. Okay.
SPEAKER_11She was a good English teacher. She's great. She was great. Licensed to teach 10th grade. Anyway, go ahead, Gracie.
SPEAKER_08If you ask anybody at that school, I don't know. I don't know. I agree. Okay.
The Emo Phase That Would Not Die
SPEAKER_02What phase did you go way too hard in?
SPEAKER_08I actually answered her question. Gracie, you can answer this for me if you want.
SPEAKER_11Actually, no. Um, my favorite personally is her senior pictures. Have y'all seen this? Oh no. No. Gracie, that's not the answer to the question. No, no, no. It's a phase. Listen, it is what she wore. It's what she wore.
SPEAKER_10She wore a beanie. Oh. Like the Starbucks barista. Let me tell you right now, this is not getting posted.
SPEAKER_07I might show you this coming from nowhere.
SPEAKER_10And then in the picture, she has her guitar. And then her feet are bare.
SPEAKER_07Don't make myself up. Like myself. This bad guy. You'll be mad. That was me.
SPEAKER_06Look, listen, listen, listen, listen. It's my opinion.
SPEAKER_08Listen. That was that was post the phase that went to heart in was when I was like trying to be emo low-key and wore chokers and beanies, no matter the weather. It did not, it was 80 degrees out. I had a beanie on my face. It was B red.
SPEAKER_07I was committed. You just had your dogs out for the phone. Okay, what the situation with that was. She was the indie, okay? Let me tell the story.
SPEAKER_08This was post-em, baby. That was still in the beanie part of it. Love you, God.
SPEAKER_01They're still holding on.
SPEAKER_08Mind you, 2020.
unknownOh my god.
SPEAKER_08No, you're wrong. You're wrong. Because this was not my senior pictures. This was when Ryan started doing photography at school. And he made me go to the end of the court and he was like, I have to get a picture of somebody doing something. So he submitted that for a school.
SPEAKER_07It's me dogs out playing guitar by a pond.
SPEAKER_04But what grade did he get? What grade did he get?
SPEAKER_07He got an A.
SPEAKER_04Your feet worked.
SPEAKER_07No, no.
SPEAKER_09It worked. I need to create a couple of things. How are you playing guitar at a pond with no shoes, though? Like you're at a fountain, you just you didn't have a show.
SPEAKER_08No, it was like the sidewalk next to the shoes. It was the end of our street, so I just walked barefoot. Because he literally, I had just gotten home for school. He's like, Morgan, can you please Morgan? I gotta do this assignment today. I was like, What's it do? Tomorrow.
SPEAKER_10Of course it is.
SPEAKER_08Morgan, please, I have to take pictures of somebody. And I was like, No.
SPEAKER_09Oh man. And he was like, have a person and an object.
SPEAKER_07I was like, okay. That is so messy. What would your answer be? David is not gonna recover. Like so much. Like so much.
SPEAKER_08My answer, no, my answer was though, the phase leading into that where I was like trying to be emo, but I also went to a private school. So like I'm wearing jokers in a polo. Like khakis. And I'm like, oh that one got very crazy. Polo khakis jokes. I'm only in school listening to my chemical romance, and I woke up and like, hey. Was this Pledge Allegiance to the Bible?
SPEAKER_10God's holy work. Oh that part. Did you have like the dress like the outlet uniform like s in your tie? Like you know. She rolled the skirt.
SPEAKER_07People did that! The warbler should leave.
SPEAKER_04This is already insane.
SPEAKER_08Two questions. No, we actually used to have like we had dedicated uniforms the first part of me going to school there, and then they got rid of like the like the plaid skirts and dresses. So I did used to have to have like a tie with the collar and the dress. But it was like the fourth grade they got rid of it, something like that. Praise go on.
SPEAKER_06Praise go on. She just said it's a good one. And then came the cacket. The cactus.
SPEAKER_08The caces.
SPEAKER_06David.
SPEAKER_08What's
Blonde Men Policy And Early Memories
SPEAKER_08one of your three questions you have for me, David? I'm scared. Are you gonna ask them all at once or spread them out?
SPEAKER_05I'm gonna ask spread them out, obviously.
SPEAKER_09Don't let it be a bleeped thing.
SPEAKER_08No, I know he's gonna bring up one story I told him last week. No.
SPEAKER_05No, he okay. No, no, no. I'm not bringing it. What age were you when you found out that you made the decision that you were against blonde men? And can you explain to us? And how did that question affect the rest of your life?
SPEAKER_08Okay.
SPEAKER_10Okay. Yeah. Because where did the blonde men start?
SPEAKER_08Look, look, listen. I'm gonna say.
SPEAKER_05I thought that one was a banger one. I thought that was a big one. That's a great question.
SPEAKER_08That's a great question, David. So majority at my school, of all the guys in my school, I would say about 80 to 90% were blonde. Yeah. Never was like, okay. You know, that's a limited pool, right then and there. So I think at a very young age, I was like, nah. And based off of that, I've seen all I need to see. New. But I think legitimately, I think I'm trying to think of like a character or something that would have been like, nope, it's wraps. It's raps. It's raps. Can't do it. I can't, yeah, I can't think of a just like a definable age, but I would put like ballpark 15, 16. I was like, no. And then there's the second. And we're done.
SPEAKER_05In the second half of my question, how did that decision affect the rest of your life?
SPEAKER_08It affects me to this day. I refuse. No.
SPEAKER_05There's too many ugly blonde men out there, is what you're saying.
SPEAKER_08It's not that they're ugly, it's that they're blonde.
SPEAKER_04So, like, is being blonde the other thing? Would like a s mess with you?
SPEAKER_09Oh? Okay, absolutely not. Cut that out. What? No. No. Blonde is what messes me up, David. Any range of blonde.
SPEAKER_03What was that?
SPEAKER_09Alright. Earliest childhood memory. Earliest childhood memory.
SPEAKER_02And we're moving.
SPEAKER_09And we are moving. And we are moving.
SPEAKER_08David has just killed himself with that joke.
SPEAKER_09It's cut out, so you guys don't even know what you're doing.
SPEAKER_08You guys don't even know, but you're just gonna hear him laughing in the background. David's cancelled. Um sorry, earliest childhood memory. Hmm. I wanna say, okay, is this an insane first memory to have? But when I was like three, I split my chin open on a bowling ball. On a bowling b on a bowling ball. I don't want it to sound traumatic because like I don't remember it that way. Because to me, I'm just kind of like, that's objectively funny that I did that. But my dad's like, we can't talk about this. Like, he's like, they had to hold you down to give you stitches. Like, I don't remember any of that. I what I remember is walking up, my mom was like, you can't push that ball by yourself. You're three and it's like six pounds. And I was like, and then I tried. And I remember that though. I do remember that. And then I slipped on like the slippery part of like the bowling alley and then fell.
SPEAKER_07And like slipped and I still have a scar. I have a chin scar too.
SPEAKER_10Oh, twin twins.
SPEAKER_07Chin twin.
SPEAKER_08Oh, twins. It was kind of a bummer of one, but yeah, that is I can't think of another one. But what did you want to speak your truth? Nothing after that. I'm sure I was having a good game before me and that dinosaur thing.
SPEAKER_05But the question is, did you put the bumpers up?
SPEAKER_08Oh, for sure they're induced. I was three.
SPEAKER_01Alright, so you're weak.
SPEAKER_08I I don't have all the details of my mind. But do you still use the bumpers? No. Okay, good. I almost took a bowling class in college, but I missed the card. You always took a bowling class.
SPEAKER_04No, no, no, open up. We're not gonna skip over that page.
SPEAKER_08They had that as an elective at our university. And they had like different like. And we know someone who took it twice. We do. We do know somebody who took it twice. Wait, because they took it this time, or no, they just won it. No, it's because they bowling one and bowling two. Bowling one again. Bowling one twice. You could walk down in the building that they had the alley at, and everyone's like look professional, like they're slinging it out of their elbow. Like it was crazy. You have to like to pass the class, you have like they do like a pretest, like you bowl, whatever.
SPEAKER_11Oh heck no! You have to get a better score on your final to pass. That's crazy. I'm pretty sure. I mean, I didn't take you.
SPEAKER_08But you can't like bomb the pretest either. Yeah. Because they'll watch you the whole semester. Like that's insane. Okay, that's too much. But no, but the class would always flip the colour.
SPEAKER_05I know somebody would pass with flying colors. He bowled a 300 once, and I was pretty impressive.
SPEAKER_08Are you talking about yourself?
SPEAKER_05No.
SPEAKER_08Okay.
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_05I can't bowl for crap.
SPEAKER_11Okay. If you bowl for crap, that's
Adult Dreams And Peak Embarrassment
SPEAKER_11crazy. Well, what did you think your adult life would look like? Oh. Oh. We're starting.
SPEAKER_09Like when I thought your life's great. Like when I was a kid. Like, what did you want to be when you grew up? Maybe that was special.
SPEAKER_08Like when I was a kid, yeah. Like, what do I be? What I thought would be like when I like I'm trying to think. Because there was a lot of different things that I was like, I don't want to do that. Like when I was a kid kid, I don't think I had one that I was like telling everybody about. But I knew I wanted to be like a veterinarian at one point. I thought that was cool. And like that resurfaced back again when I was like middle early high school. And I was like, oh yeah, I want to be like the large animal vet, like go to Africa, like do cool stuff. Oh yeah. And then I was like, or not. Completely changed that. So that and then, or like something with music, I think. I would have imagined. Which I mean, like I am more involved in music though now. But like, I don't know. Yeah, I got you. Yeah. Cool. And Montana. Hey, yeah, yeah? Yeah. Who finally aspirations? Yeah, no.
SPEAKER_02Name was Mel Nice. Good. Okay, let's see. So I aired mine. So what was the first time you felt embarrassed? Oh.
SPEAKER_09I gotta laugh. I gotta laugh. Just go the worst. Yeah, what's the worst time? When did you get humiliation? Humiliation. Humiliation.
SPEAKER_04No.
SPEAKER_11Hey, don't fly.
SPEAKER_04The homeless lady one is the most I've never seen in my life. I was like, imagine how great of a shirt that would be. No, you humiliation them.
SPEAKER_08Merch, merch is coming. Merch. I also I feel like I've told some good ones on here. Like when I fell and like the desk fell on top of me in front of our whole class. That was brutal. Because it was like sixth grade. It was the perfect age for it to have, and we were like Yeah. That yeah. So Tyree, I have to confess. Okay. What? No way you're about to say this. I was not pants, per se, by anybody. God, if anybody, okay. There was one time, and to this day, Ryan will bring it up and laugh as hard as he did the day that it happened. I was like 10 or 12 years old, something in there. I can't remember how old. We were in the grocery store with my mom, and like the two of us were goofing off or whatever. And she's like pushing the cart, and literally out of nowhere, my pants fell down to my ankles. So naturally. So I was pants by gravity.
SPEAKER_04The winds, the winds of change.
SPEAKER_10The winds of change. No. I just know your crack was out before that, though. Like I know you bent over. Your crack came over. Yo. I just know it.
SPEAKER_04He's crazy. Oh.
SPEAKER_10Just somehow it felt like, no, your half half was out in the last half hour. Yeah, where are the reflexes at where you just let the pants? I don't know.
SPEAKER_07How long did it be?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, was it like instantaneous or did you just like let it happen?
SPEAKER_07No, I was because it's like it was enough to be embarrassing. I thought you were five! No! Why do you think I was five?
SPEAKER_08Why do you think Ron would bring it up if I was five if my pants fell down the grocery store?
SPEAKER_07Ten years old pants around my ankles, Christine. That is the most embarrassing thing. That's the same thing. And Ron and we were just looking at each other for a second, and he was like, No, no.
SPEAKER_09No, we can't. We can't simple. That is insane.
SPEAKER_10That is crazy.
SPEAKER_08I'm just trying to figure out like how long were they gradually lowering, or was it just the no, like when I tell you from my memory, it was at a gradual fall.
SPEAKER_01With her pants about to fall down.
SPEAKER_08No, Ryan and I were goofing around. You know how you'd like only step on the certain color tiles in the grocery store. It's like something like that. And then like we were pushing the cart between the two of us, being absolute menaces in this grocery store, mind you. Which, mind you, if I was 10, he was 13, being a little rat. Okay. And he and his bowl cut saw my pants hit the ground and thought, this is the funniest thing I've ever seen in my life. And she will never live it down. And I have never since. No. I wonder if that was a memory. I know. I wonder if that's a memory that he planted in you. No, it was real. You remember? I remember.
SPEAKER_03This is not fabricated.
SPEAKER_08I wonder if he gaslit you for the last 20 years. If he gaslit me about that, I would be, I would crash out. Like if that was a gaslit memory, I'm done. I'm done. That's insane. Okay, so. Yeah, you should have brought that up when I told my pantsing story.
SPEAKER_05She had to wait. It was your hot scene there.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, I didn't, I didn't want to do it.
SPEAKER_05Also, your guys' episodes are way better than mine so far.
SPEAKER_09No, no. No. Yours is funny, dude.
SPEAKER_02Um, what is something younger you would think is cool about you now?
Friends Now And Fantasy Worlds
SPEAKER_09Ooh. Good question.
SPEAKER_08Um a lot of things. No. Everything. I again when I say this, I don't mean to sound sad when I say this, but having this many friends.
SPEAKER_07That sounds horrible.
SPEAKER_05I'm not gonna lie, that's so real.
SPEAKER_07But legitimately.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_08Because like I feel like I had like one really, really good friend up until like middle school, and then like all my other friends came into school then. So that's when I like started actually having like a group of friends, but before that, it was like me and my brothers and my cousins. I guess. But yeah, I think she'd be like, that's pretty sick.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's awesome. Nice, David.
SPEAKER_05David two out of three.
SPEAKER_02Question two out of three.
SPEAKER_05Do you ever wish you lived in a fantasy world? And if so, which fantasy worlds?
SPEAKER_08Good question. These are me tailored, thank you.
SPEAKER_05Yes, I know.
SPEAKER_08Very targeted. In a good way. Wait, did you do your homework? I did.
SPEAKER_07Whoa. Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_09First time ever. Honor my hot season. You just prepared the podcast for the first time on episode 14?
SPEAKER_08You are clapping so hard.
SPEAKER_01Answer the question.
SPEAKER_08Does glee count as a fantasy world?
SPEAKER_04I mean, they do fly off in the end, so I just spit like really far.
SPEAKER_05I just split really far.
SPEAKER_08No, because that's no, it's too real. That's real life. No, you don't even read it. Why would you hear that? I was devastated, mind you. Corey Monteith. The main guy from Gleef. Finn.
SPEAKER_04Oh, Gleef. Why did I think Grease? You said green, I immediately thought, oh grease. They fly off in the end.
SPEAKER_07Maybe that's a different one that I didn't watch. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_08Oh my god. Oh you said Grease. Okay. I thought you said we'd be society.
SPEAKER_07Bring him in.
SPEAKER_10Okay, sorry.
SPEAKER_08What's your fantasy world? Okay, my favorite like fantasy series is Harry Potter, but if I had to live in that world, I'd be ticked. You know what I mean? That's pretty much a bummer the whole time.
SPEAKER_05She's like holding her nose around. Like she's pissed.
SPEAKER_08Talking about the piss together. Oh my gosh. Oh. That's a good question. So, like, I want to say Harry Potter, but I also have like out fear of my life.
SPEAKER_10No, I feel like the other kids, not Harry, Ron, or her, like the other kids probably thought it was fun.
SPEAKER_08Until like fell under a regime. Yeah, no, they had to go to work. They got recruited.
SPEAKER_10We gotta do it at some point.
SPEAKER_08You know, it has to happen at some point down the line. Right, right, right. Okay. That is I think you should say that about like any fantasy world though at the same time. So I probably would say like Harry Potter, Narnia would be sick. Oh, Narnia would be awesome. Narnia's good. One of those two. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Which is good.
Dumb Punishments And Risky Bikes
SPEAKER_09What is the dumbest thing you got in trouble for?
SPEAKER_08Hmm. Okay, I have a good one. There was one time when we were kids that me and Ryan actually, I can't even say kids. We were like middle school and high school. We did this. Um we thought it would be really funny if we tied the handlebars of our bikes together. And then like we tied the handlebars of our bikes together or our bikes together. And Ryan, like, we were like riding at the same pace, and we're like, hey, let's see what happens like when one of us slows down, the other one. Because why not? Yeah, and who's the one that slowed down? Me. Oh Ryan set you up. Ryan, yeah, Ryan sure did. Because he was going full speed still, and I'm like trailing behind coasting, like holding the pedals at the same level. And then when he went like this to like go around in the street, of course, when you're attached by a rope, there's a wider center of like motion around my bike. And so he went like that, and I ran into our neighbor's car.
SPEAKER_07And then he got like yanked back. Sorry.
SPEAKER_08He got like yanked back and like went all the way up on like the back wheel.
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_08Because I was like in a horror stuff. I would pay money to see Brian in his super bad phase. Yeah. Super bad phase. Still bowl cut. No. But my dad came out and he's like, kids! Why the Sam Hill are you doing? Get inside. Not in the Sam Hill. Whoa, in the Sam Hill, that's it. That yeah, that has to be the dumbest. Surely. That's a good question. Oh wait, actually, I do have. Go for it. On the top of that. No, I think that was funnier, but there was one time, again, I don't remember this, but apparently in like kindergarten, I got in trouble because we were walking across the parking lot to the other building at our school, and I literally was just looking straight up, like not paying attention to anything. And I guess the teacher didn't realize I was not in line, and I was just like walking like and you got in trouble for that? Yeah. You just wandered away? Yeah.
SPEAKER_09Yeah, I know. My cleaner. Should you be with me? My goat.
SPEAKER_11Should have been my friend, I would have kept you in line.
SPEAKER_09What was your punishment though? You like had to sit in the I was just like a stand in the corner, just look at the wall. You go home for staring at the sky? Knocking across the parking lot staring at the sky. What are you gonna say?
SPEAKER_11Private school they got hecked.
SPEAKER_09My kids will bite another kid, and I'm like, well, let's try and do better now.
Memories To Relive And Dance Lore
unknownI can hear it.
SPEAKER_11That is crazy. My question is what is a memory you wish you could relive? Ooh, good one.
SPEAKER_00Oh, that's a good one.
SPEAKER_11Thanks, chat.
SPEAKER_08There's a good amount. I'm trying to think.
SPEAKER_00I feel like you did come out.
SPEAKER_08I feel like there are like certain memories or nights where it's like in the moment, it was it stressful or frustrating? Sure. But to experience like the the T of it, you know the night I'm talking about. The exact night. Right? Because in the moment, so stressed, not a good mental space for me. But separated from that night, funniest thing I've ever been for. So fun. Sorry, no context, and I can't tell that story at all. This podcast.
SPEAKER_11And then we went to brunch the next day. Yeah.
SPEAKER_08Off of like, yeah, an hour or two of sleep. And then we all we were leaving and we had to like go to Walmart and get bags to put stuff in, but nobody could find anything. We were like, where am I? Like everyone's like crying. No. But it's like separated, it's fine. Any school dance, sure. Like, if you call me back at that night, I'll tear it up.
SPEAKER_10School dance?
SPEAKER_08Okay.
SPEAKER_11I know y'all have lights all on in that gymnasium. No. What was the song you said they played this? Okay, there was one year that they played year by seal.
SPEAKER_08Nope, cheap frills, four separate times in the one homecoming dance night. One is too many. But it's because they had to get a different DJ that year because the year before at the prom they played Thatiana. What about it? And our our like chaperon was like, uh turn this thong off. Right now. Right now. That is insane. No, but any anything from college. Take your trick. We'll just say that. Love it. I love that. So what is the weirdest thing you've been emotionally attached to?
Anglerfish Tears And Car Plant Grief
SPEAKER_08Oh. Ooh. What phase is this? The weirdest thing I've been emotionally attached to. Oh my gosh. Okay, this is so stupid. But you remember that video, I think it was like last year or two years ago, of the anglerfish that like swam up like to the surface. I cry so hard at that video. Like, it because the anglerfish live in the depth of the sea. Like they never get past a certain level of light until they're about to die. I'm dead serious. Gutted me.
unknownGutted me.
SPEAKER_08I'm not exaggerating. Like, and so when he was about to die, and so I guess he wanted to be near the light or whatever. I guess they do that. And so he's like floating up like a little bit. I just want to make people upset while they listen to this. She asked me when I was about to don't show me that. Because I saw an edit of it with fake plastic trees over it. I hate to burst my fake plastic trees over that. And I was like, No.
SPEAKER_05I hate to burst your bubble, but it's more likely that it didn't want to see the light. It had some type of like thing going on in its brain. That's why it's a good thing.
SPEAKER_08Hey, I believe the narrative that Instagram told me. Okay. Hey, I I buy into the light. Or like the little hanging plant I had in my Civic. The what you had in here? The grenadine? We had like honestly, no. It was like, it's so stupid, but I had a little tiny hanging plant in my Civic. And I forgot to take it out when I traded it in for my car. I know. And it literally for you. I know. I was very upset.
SPEAKER_05Morgan, I'm not sure.
SPEAKER_08And when we got hit by the semi-truck, it did not fall out of the holder. But anytime I drove that car, it fell out of the holder. Every single time I turned, everything. A curve. A curve out of the holder. Semi-truck.
SPEAKER_05You know what's funny, Morgan? I remember cleaning that car out. And I remember taking the plane out of it.
SPEAKER_08Do you have it?
SPEAKER_05No, no. I got rid of it. I wouldn't have it.
SPEAKER_07Cool, cool, cool, cool, cool. Cool, cool, cool, cool.
SPEAKER_05So now she's a next. Before I was a salesman, Morgan bought a car. She didn't wait for me to become a salesman.
SPEAKER_08I also didn't know you were on that path. Neither did I. I did not know how close you were to that accomplishment. Neither did I.
SPEAKER_05So it's okay, but I'm still gonna hold it over you. But I saw her car there and I saw it get sold after she traded in.
SPEAKER_08Rip April on it.
SPEAKER_11With an accident on it?
unknownDang.
SPEAKER_05We sold it cheap. Of course, a civic's gonna sell it.
SPEAKER_11You sold it cheap. Okay.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, because we got an accident on it. April is worth all of that, man.
SPEAKER_11It's price memories. Do you know how many memories are in that car? No. Pricelet.
SPEAKER_08A price is she's been in that trunk before.
SPEAKER_07In that trunk.
SPEAKER_08Yes. E. E.
SPEAKER_02We all have. What is something that you do that nobody else notices?
Unseen Care For People And Hit-and-Run Jokes
SPEAKER_02Hmm.
SPEAKER_08Hmm. This is like an introspective question. I'm so sorry. I am not locked in. Maybe I should have prepped. Maybe. I should have read. Something I do that nobody notices.
SPEAKER_02Or that you wish that they would notice. And we can go on the total flip side and ask, what's your most predictable behavior?
SPEAKER_03Ooh, okay.
SPEAKER_08Just making a joke count. Yeah. Trying to turn something into a bit. Yeah. Laughing always. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Laughing always.
SPEAKER_08Predictable behavior.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_08I do this thing. Okay, I this could be awful for sound, I'll do it far away from the mic. But like this. Yeah. Like that hand thing is like my stating there, like thinking thing.
SPEAKER_09Yeah.
SPEAKER_08So that I feel like is also pretty predictable.
SPEAKER_09Yeah.
SPEAKER_08I'm really trying to think of things I do that nobody notices.
SPEAKER_11Well, maybe you don't know that we notice them. That's true. But then I would maybe be noticing it if I said.
SPEAKER_08I'm letting my rib answer.
SPEAKER_03My ribs.
SPEAKER_07My rib.
SPEAKER_08What?
unknownEw.
SPEAKER_07No. Sorry.
SPEAKER_06As in ribs Lord, as in ribs, Adam and Eve. Ribs as in Lord. Okay. I'll take that. Trust. I'll take that. My ribs. My ribs. Sorry, I need to enunciate the S. My ribs. Letting my ribs speak. My ribs. My ribs. My ribs. My ribs.
SPEAKER_09I just think that you like check in on everybody, but like not everyone's gonna see how you check in on each individual person and like pour into like people, not just as a group, but individually.
SPEAKER_11I think also how you're serving your family in this time. Stop. I said you are doing a lot, and I don't think people are noticing or realizing how much you're doing. Yeah. Well, I appreciate that.
SPEAKER_07Yeah. And we are not crying on a podcast. This is us crying on a podcast. This is just Morgan document.
SPEAKER_05I mean, I wish we had more warm-up time for my questions. Because like your guys' episodes are gonna be so much better than mine.
SPEAKER_09I'll send it to you. It does sound really good. Don't do that.
SPEAKER_06What?
SPEAKER_05Why do you like feed?
SPEAKER_06No! That can't be your third hand subject. He's speaking on my face.
SPEAKER_05It was one of them. I just had to put my little check mark next to it. Okay. But realistically, Morgan, hit and runs. Yay or nay.
SPEAKER_08Legally nay. For the thrill, yeah. For the thrill. And it's a little bit. Strongly nay. If it makes you feel better, I did an illegal hit and run once too. And speak your truth. This is my podcast. It is a hit and run theme episode. I just asked my license, and my neighbor, he got me my mom tickets to Siki Shacole.
SPEAKER_04Who?
SPEAKER_08We were leaving, and it was like this gravel, the gravel parking lot next to the Chrysler Center. And I back was backing up and I hit a car. And my mom was like, just go. Let's go.
SPEAKER_10Hey, your mom told me to do that. My mom told me that.
SPEAKER_08The mom said I could go. Wow. That is not gonna hold up the course.
unknownCrazy.
SPEAKER_08Mom said I could go. So I went. Ended my defense too. I said my dad was like, just get out of there. You can't sit on the side of the road like that. In retrospect, I don't know if my mom knew that I hit it. I I know I felt something, and I was like, but I think my mom was like wanting to go home. She was like, just go, just drive. Like, why are you stopping? And I was like, okay. She did not.
SPEAKER_05Oh, mom.
SPEAKER_02Anyways, we're good.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, your name.
SPEAKER_08I said nay.
SPEAKER_05She said nay.
SPEAKER_08I say my name. Simon.
SPEAKER_02Say my name.
SPEAKER_08Okay.
SPEAKER_05But the check mark next to it, but I don't believe it.
SPEAKER_08I can't put an X next to it, David. I said nay.
Red Flags And The Air Guitar Ick
SPEAKER_07Oh no I thought it was so funny. Okay.
SPEAKER_09Okay. Alright. What do you think your biggest red flag is? And then what is your biggest red flag? You see in other people.
SPEAKER_10Start with other people.
SPEAKER_08Surface level. Well, kind of shit with my first Loki. Because the surface level, dumb one, my inability to park. My wide open spaces, still crooked. She also drives a car that's very easy to park. That's so valid. Look, I yeah. And I I do stand like for a little while. I was like, it's because I have a bigger car now. That's why. It's not why. Because I have a distinct memory of like right after I got my license and going to Walgreens with my mom. And I was like, I love it when the spaces are diagonal. It makes it so much easier to park because she's like, Mark, these are non-diagonals. And to like shamefully back out, and I was like And I said it with full confidence.
SPEAKER_05That is funny.
SPEAKER_08I love how they're diagonal. And she's like, they are not. And they are not.
SPEAKER_03That is so funny.
SPEAKER_08They are not so hard. Oh my gosh. I would say that's probably my biggest like surface level red flag.
SPEAKER_10Hey, if that's your biggest one, your surface level.
SPEAKER_08That's the most glaringly obvious.
SPEAKER_03Can I answer that? What is my red flag, Dave?
SPEAKER_02That's a light pink flag, if anything. If anything.
SPEAKER_08If anything. And then biggest red flag in other people. This is such a contrast of like levels of things. Like when they can park. No. When they can park.
SPEAKER_05Gets the ick immediately. You just hate it.
SPEAKER_06Okay.
SPEAKER_08No, the ick is different. I can talk about the ick. No.
SPEAKER_02That's a good question.
SPEAKER_08If you're just like unnecessarily rude to people for no reason. That can be anybody. Like it can be friends. Yeah. I can't, I can't say that. Yeah. Or I'm like, there's no reason for you to like have that tone right now. I'm like, hey, calm down. Like you gotta chill.
SPEAKER_07Buddy. Yeah.
SPEAKER_08That is the big red flag.
SPEAKER_07This isn't crazy. Noah, stop. Stop her.
SPEAKER_01Yes, I know exactly what you're talking about.
SPEAKER_08No, but that's a good question. What well what's your what's your biggest ick? Biggest ick? Look. Biblical ick for me, playing the air guitar. I don't remember you talking about that. And I'm not exaggerating that. Biblically ick. Biblically accurate ick. I cannot explain it. I'm immediately like immediately no. You gotta stop.
SPEAKER_05It's shadow boxing on the same level.
SPEAKER_08Hey! To me, shadow boxing can be funny. I think it's funny. I don't think it's funny. Yeah. I think that's funny. I don't think that's an ick thing. Okay.
SPEAKER_11I like, yeah.
SPEAKER_08Or like like anybody like bouncing on the like the balls of their feet too much when they talk. Oh. Does that make sense? I thought that was an autistic trait. Maybe. She hates autistic trait. Hey, hey, hey. Hey now. Hey now. I don't know. I don't know how to like explain it, but I can I know it when I see it. I'll find a video. I'll send it too. It's your gate when you're talking to me.
SPEAKER_02It's your gate while you're bothering me. It's not you, it's your gate.
SPEAKER_10No, I met his kid in high school. He would walk like that.
SPEAKER_02I was like, bro, stop.
SPEAKER_08Just it's not the walking noise. It's just when you're standing still doing it. Because like we had a friend that did that, and I was like, hey, there's him. Like, like, hey buddy. It's when you're standing facing me in conversation. It's like, I'm like, why are you walking in place? Like, just plant your feet. Plant your feet. Make a decision. Decide. Yeah.
unknownDecide.
SPEAKER_02Decide.
SPEAKER_08In this conversation. Because that's funny. Because you've mentioned it multiple times. It seems like air guitar is your biggest one out of the floor. Literally, yeah. Because we're not talking red flags, we're talking ix air guitar. It makes me so upset.
SPEAKER_07I'm like, stop. So funny. Gosh. Alright, great next question.
SPEAKER_08Can I also specify? So sorry. Air guitar, but like solos?
SPEAKER_01She does not want to drop this.
SPEAKER_08However, what's funny to me, the only time it's susceptible is it's like air bass. That's funny. Airbass?
SPEAKER_07Like shredding a solo.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, right. Like that's funny. Airbase. Air bass, if you do that, I'm fine with it. That's okay.
SPEAKER_10Airbase guitar. What about air, electric acoustic guitar? No.
SPEAKER_08Electric acoustic guitar rhythm guitar? Still still an ink. No full strum.
SPEAKER_09If they're doing like drums or like piano, is that give you the egg or no?
SPEAKER_07He's like sixteen?
SPEAKER_08Okay, fourteen. No, no egg, no egg.
SPEAKER_10Air ukuleley. Ukulele.
SPEAKER_02Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_07Air saxophone.
SPEAKER_03I got air flute.
SPEAKER_07Triangle. That's so funny.
SPEAKER_03Air Kazoo.
SPEAKER_07Oh no. No, no, no. No, no, no, David.
SPEAKER_11No, no, no.
Reality TV Picks And Guilty Pleasure Shows
SPEAKER_11If you had to be in any reality TV show, which one would be good? Question. It's Target, yes. We do the first time.
SPEAKER_01Alright. I'll just Okay.
SPEAKER_08Fun fact, my dad watches a lot of reality TV. So I have seen a lot. He loves it. I don't know why. There's some that do stick, I'll admit. One of which below deck, Mediterranean. It's like the crew of a mega yacht. And like they're doing all these charters with these like super, super rich guests. But it's like all this drama's happening between the crew. But then they're also like these people were rats. It's like these guests are awful. But they have to like throw fiend parties for them. It's so dumb. It literally adds nothing like to your life. I don't think it really does. You're feeling yourself wasting away. But it's so entertaining for no reason. And I think it'd be really funny. Because also it's like people from places in Europe that you've never heard of that are on this crew where it's like just so many different British accents that I'm like, how is that funny? I think I've seen clips of it. It's funny, like admittedly. The one with the caviar? Yeah, yeah. That was below deck, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So that, or for y'all's entertainment, Love is Blind. That would be funny to watch. Together? He's mad at me now.
SPEAKER_03I've never watched.
SPEAKER_08Like, if I was on a show and y'all had to view me on a show, I would choose that one. Anything if you're on it. Right. But that specifically would be the funniest. That shouldn't say. No. What did you say?
SPEAKER_05I said live on the spectrum.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_05Alright, I got I got permission from group leader to say that one a second time.
SPEAKER_07Okay, okay, okay.
SPEAKER_05I I stepped out online the first time. I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_08It's fine. You're forgiven. It's fine. Let's see. American Ninja Warrior. American Ninja Warrior.
SPEAKER_05That would be funny. I think all of us on American Ninja Warrior would be.
SPEAKER_08Would be hilarious. Absolutely. So funny. Little Woman of Atlanta. Grey would clear. Grey would clear.
SPEAKER_07Oh my gosh, no, that's my answer. That's my answer. Little woman of Atlanta. Just think of me. Miss Juicy. Juicy Vem!
SPEAKER_05Fear Factor.
SPEAKER_07She was arrested.
SPEAKER_08Free Miss Juicy. Free the juice. Free the juice. Free the juice.
SPEAKER_09No, thank you. That's it.
SPEAKER_08We should push that up, but.
SPEAKER_07No. No.
SPEAKER_08That's what we're talking about. No. Look. Miss Juicy.
SPEAKER_09If you're listening to the podcast, Miss Juicy. No, we're moving on from this.
Adulting Scams Faith Priorities And God Of War
SPEAKER_02So moving on to like more adult you now cues.
SPEAKER_09What? Okay, look on the group chat where we sent the question.
SPEAKER_08Fold energy.
SPEAKER_02So what I don't know.
SPEAKER_08What is the most adult thing you feel like you've ever done, but it also feels like kinda fake. Like it's a scam. Paying my stamped property tax. That is criminal.
SPEAKER_06What are you paying that for?
SPEAKER_08My car. And it's bad. It's bad.
SPEAKER_06You have to do that every year.
SPEAKER_05Guess where you wouldn't have to do that? You might have to believe it, but move to North Carolina. No property tax.
SPEAKER_09Yeah, that's public information. But you know smoking.
SPEAKER_04I mean, do they know? I mean, just I'm an odd one. I am kidding.
SPEAKER_07I'm just saying, why do we have to bleep that out? You don't have to bleep that out. Why do we have to believe that?
SPEAKER_08Everyone would move to North Carolina.
SPEAKER_09It's leave. I don't want to be doxed. How would you be doxed? No one's gonna listen to the four people that listen to our podcast are not gonna be like, yep, now we're moving to North Carolina.
SPEAKER_08Hide it from Eileen.
SPEAKER_09Four. She knows where you live now. I'm kidding. A bunch, a bunch of you guys. No.
SPEAKER_08Hey, give love to our listeners, Kennedy.
SPEAKER_09Our worldwide listeners. Love a lot of you, not all of you.
SPEAKER_06We are international.
SPEAKER_05We gotta cut that. I don't know what she's doing or not.
SPEAKER_08In reality, that was a very like grown thing to do, but I'm also like, hey, why am I being taxed on something I own? Hear me out. Hey, if I purchased it, why am I being taxed for it? If I purchase it, would that make me federalist or anti-federalist?
SPEAKER_02Okay, what is most important to you right now?
SPEAKER_08I feel like right now for me, family most important. I feel like that's always though. I don't know.
SPEAKER_02Real.
SPEAKER_08And my friendship.
SPEAKER_09Even great?
SPEAKER_06Even gray!
SPEAKER_07Yeah, great.
SPEAKER_08I'm so bad that that's a bit so funny, though. Every time it hits. Because like kind of has the perfect timing on it. Even gray? Even gray. Um I don't know. I feel like just like living life, figuring things out as they go. I don't know.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Yep. That's a world. My lock of the Lord.
SPEAKER_08The basic stuff. Yep. The Lord. Damn.
SPEAKER_05Praise the Lord.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, David used all of his three questions already.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, one more. It's like a teeny.
SPEAKER_09Go for it then.
SPEAKER_05This one's probably gonna get God of War. And why have you not played it?
SPEAKER_09I need to know that. That's how I'm gonna do that.
SPEAKER_05At this point, it's gonna get to your next birthday, and I'm just gonna buy you a second copy of the page.
SPEAKER_08I will make you a pact, David. I will play it before my next birthday.
SPEAKER_05That's not gonna happen.
SPEAKER_08It will happen. Because you made three packs.
SPEAKER_09It's a novel. We'll play it here after the pod, and then please.
SPEAKER_01For context listeners, if this doesn't get cut, I bought her not a four for her birthday.
SPEAKER_09We don't need the context. She's busy. She'll play it after the pod.
SPEAKER_01I'm being silenced.
SPEAKER_08My PlayStation, PlayStation?
SPEAKER_01You're lying through your teeth. That's why you stutter. My PlayStation.
SPEAKER_08My PlayStation. Play PlayStation is under the cupboard. It is evident. No, it is. It's always not L. Like, so I'm like, I have to set everything back up and play the game.
SPEAKER_07My PlayPlace. My PlayStation.
SPEAKER_08I can't wait to play Ghana Wall, my Point.
SPEAKER_01Oh my gosh. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_08Hey, I've had the PE since 45 minutes ago, and we gotta lock the PE.
SPEAKER_09Still have fun facts still. Okay, I'm gonna take a break from the serious ones.
Rapid Fire Choices Travel Stress And Kenya Delays
SPEAKER_09Take a break from the serious ones and do the this or that rapid fire. So you gotta be locked in. I'm gonna close my eyes. Are you ready? Yes, ma'am. Okay, okay. City or country? Country. Morning or night? Night. Sweet or salty? Both. I don't know. Nope. You can't do the past thing. You gotta pick one. Salty, I love pretzels. I love pretzels. Calling or texting. Calling. Beach or mountains? Beach. Coffee or tea? Coffee. Dogs or cats. Dogs. Spring or fall.
SPEAKER_08Oh no. I can't use that. That's criminal. Okay, fall, but it would be spring if there was no allergies.
SPEAKER_09That's actually so valid. Books or movies? Movies. Movies. That's a hard one though. Gosh, some of these aren't that great. No. Oh, saving money or spending money. Truthfully. Spending.
SPEAKER_08In my head, saving. In reality, spending. It's more fun to spend than I'm out.
SPEAKER_03It is. It is.
SPEAKER_08I don't think that. I don't think Dave Ramsey's ever been thrifting. I don't think he knows.
SPEAKER_02I don't think they're not a whole food.
SPEAKER_09That is really good.
SPEAKER_02Thank you. Speaking of third. No, go for it.
SPEAKER_09I think we'll be done. Unless, well, actually, do you want to know Netflix or movies? Do you agree with Tyree with the like go to the movie theater? Or stay at home to work.
SPEAKER_08No, I'm because this is a movie theater. I'm not yet, but I will be this year. It's on my bigger card for this year. My favorite thing is I made that bigger card and I just put things I could choose to do anytime on there. I could just do it. No, yeah, I'm I'm gonna wait until the summer when they have like all the movies are coming out. Then I can maximize more cost effective. I did want to maximize theater over everything. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Like staycation or like traveling.
SPEAKER_08Ooh. Okay.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_08I would say traveling, but it is conditional for me. Like, I love having like time off like here to like go do stuff because I know what I'm gonna do and like where I'm gonna go. I've been wanting to do that for a while. But like traveling without the stress of like travel going wrong.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Because like sometimes when you're out somewhere and you don't have every little thing planned, it can be a little, it can be a little stressful. It'll be like, oh, where are we gotta go? Yeah, where's the nearest Chick-fil-A?
SPEAKER_08Well, and there's like a running bit. Every like time we went to Kenya in college was apparently I'm the curse on the teen traveling because like anytime I've not been there, it's gone fine. We went there, we had like a two-day delay in London because all the pilots walked off. Sorry. No, that was like when United happened or whatever, they all walked off, so we were stuck there for two days. And then the next year was a 12-hour delay in London. And like beforehand, we like it took us like six extra days to get there. We got stuck in Dallas. Yes.
SPEAKER_05I do have a question. Were you Were you with Gracie when she got arrested? Yes. Oh, so you are bad luck.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, I am. It's my fault. It's also my fault because it was the concert that I really wanted to go to and that I was like, Gracie, can we go together? And that's why she had her pepper spray on her.
SPEAKER_05That's funny.
SPEAKER_11It was not I got arrested. Okay, I didn't arrest me. I was not sure. She was detained. She they just said No cuffs could be. I had no power. I couldn't go anywhere.
SPEAKER_08No, I didn't. No, we were like on the side trying to figure out what's happening. And I like I was like leaning over and I was like, I think that there was just liquids in her bag. And then 10 minutes later, two men with AK-47s pulled up, and I was like, by the time I had said that, it was taking a long time for things to happen. I was like, I thought she just had liquids, and then they showed up, and I was like, She did not just have liquids. Something has gone wrong.
SPEAKER_09I don't know what it is, but it's not good. Gracie, did you have a bomb?
SPEAKER_08You can tell me. Blink twice if you had a bomb.
SPEAKER_03Perfect combination of C4. Okay.
Desert Island Movies And Comfort Rewatches
SPEAKER_09Okay, back to Sirius. I want to know. Oh, sorry, no, I'm sorry. I can't remember how to do that. Whatever question. Whatever.
SPEAKER_02I want to know what your desert island movies are. Yeah. We almost forgot that would be a good one. I feel like you're one of like the most like educated people when it comes to movies. Educated as freaking. Like you just know a lot of movies.
SPEAKER_08Okay. So I have to put Laaland on there. But at the same time. Okay, but like she does. I have to. But the thing is, I also I'm like, if I'm stranded on a beach, do I want to be devastated more than where I'm at? Like, that's the thing. I have to. There's there's two strains of thought here. It's my top three favorite movies, or it's like, hey, this is a bad situation. Let's watch like Ramona and Beezas.
SPEAKER_07Let's watch Surf Cell.
SPEAKER_08Let's watch a beach themed going in another West Story. It's not my dream dad. Another what am I saying? The one with Selena Gomez, though. Yes, it is. Yes, it is. So Lala Land has to be in there for me. I would go probably, I don't want to go like too rom-com heavy, but that's pretty much what I would choose, probably. The holiday, that is like I say Lala Land's my favorite movie of all time. The holiday, I've watched more than any other movie in my life. I love that movie so much. And it's like a big comfort movie for me. The holiday with Queen Latifah? Nope, that's the last holiday. And that happens every time I talk about that movie.
SPEAKER_09This is the one with Jack Black.
SPEAKER_07Of course, Jack. I've never seen this one.
SPEAKER_09It's so good.
SPEAKER_08We have to watch it together. It's so good, guys. We have to okay. It's pod movie night. We're watching the holiday. It's so good. There's there, like Kate Winslow's character in that movie I relate to more than any other movie character. Yeah. Yeah. Crazy. Thank you. No, and mind you, Jack Black says, I think the most romantic thing ever written in a movie.
SPEAKER_07Up until literally, I saw, I'm like, oh, but I'm like, is that Jack Black saying that? Like a thing. Okay.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, it's like a dick, but so sweet.
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_08So I say that and then I I was gonna say leave their own, but I think it would be like over the hitch. To wrap things up, Miss
Outlook On Life Bring Back Whimsy
SPEAKER_08Morgan. Yes, ma'am.
SPEAKER_06I hope you've had fun.
SPEAKER_08I have.
SPEAKER_04This is one this is gonna be one of our best.
SPEAKER_06One of our best. I guess it.
SPEAKER_02So what is your current outlook on life?
SPEAKER_08Given all of your experiences from childhood to now, how do you view life? How do you take on life? I don't know. Prioritizing like the right things, you know, like seeking after the Lord, cultivating friendships, cultivating family, cultivating, tilling the field, tilling the land. But also, it's not that serious. Hear me out. Like, yes, it is, but also it's not. Like, I there's so many times where I wish I could go back in time and like smack myself in the face, like in like high school, because I would had like really bad academic anxiety, and I'm like, hey, you're good. You're good, hey, calm down, brother. Like, it is DE speech. You're gonna be fine. You're gonna be just you're you're not gonna use this in an academic setting ever again, I don't think. Like, you're good. But like stuff like that, or like just not to sweat the small stuff of like chill out, bro. Like, it's not that serious. Like, I don't know. That's why I like I there's certain things that I just don't get, like I don't understand. I say this, but I'm like, I do also have this, but like road rage, but I I say that, and then I'm also raging at my car, but I don't when it's like actually like people are actually pressed about it and like try and do something about it instead of just like letting it out in the car. I'm not targeting this at you, David. No, no, no, I'm clearing my throat because my chest suckers from laughing. You were staring at me and I'm like, no, but like stuff like that. I'm just like, I don't know. Just laugh, have fun. Like it's okay, chill. Life is whimsy and joyful. It is yes, full of joy and whimsy. Yes. My words for 2026 joy and whimsy. Joy and whimsy. Bring back the whimsy. Bring it back.
SPEAKER_05Hashtag bring back whimsy.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, that's right, guys. Start the hashtag. Start the hashtag. I don't know. I don't know if that was cohesive at all. But that's what I feel. That's pretty easy. That's good. That's good. Cohesive. I understood.
SPEAKER_03Thank you. That's a hurdle.
SPEAKER_02Perfect, perfect. Um what's something you hope never changes about you?
SPEAKER_07That's a good question.
SPEAKER_09Um nothing that'd be my answer.
SPEAKER_08I want to say that no. I don't know. I feel like it is not good at times, but my ability to laugh 100% of the time. It does not matter. And it it is, there's been plenty of times where it's like actually really bad. But I also am like, yeah, but also I think I'd be a very different person if I didn't have that, at least. Of like, I don't know. I find everything funny, I think. Yeah. Just a little bit. You do. You can yeah, I fear. Let's wrap it up.
