And let's get into today's episode.

SPEAKER_01

Hey guys! Hello. We are having the exact opposite reaction of last week. Last week we were a little chaotic because we recorded um super early. 7 a.m. Yeah. It was 7 a.m. the night or the day of the time change, so it was actually like 6 a.m.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Um today it is does that say 10 30?

SPEAKER_00

It says 10 34 p.m. Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Today we are both exhausted. Um really long day today. We have been we have had a very long day. She has been here again since 9 a.m. But today it wasn't issues.

SPEAKER_00

No, it was on purpose. Yes. Because we did like things before we did podcast things. Yeah. We hang out as friends too. We do, we do, and today we got tattoos. Yeah, we did. You probably can't see it from there.

SPEAKER_01

Um it's a flower. It's cute. She'll post a picture of it later. I will. Um, mine is on my rook page. Oh. Hey,$20 on Patreon, and you can see. I'm just joking. I'm joking.$20. I am cheap. Sorry. I hate myself. Oh my gosh. I'm just joshing. I'm just joshing. Just Joshin.

SPEAKER_00

But yeah, so we went and got tattoos. And the place that we went to was doing a Friday, Friday 13th. Yes. Today is Friday the 13th. Yeah. So So we waited. First of all, last time we got tattoos at this place, we got there maybe like only a half hour earlier.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Last time, so they do like these um shout out to Ink Therapy in Lansing, Michigan.

SPEAKER_00

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Um, so they do these like what are they called? They're like flash sales. Flash sales, that's it. Uh the last time we went, we went in October for a Halloween flash sale. It was like$31 because it was October 31st. That's what it was. Yeah, yeah. Um, and we got matching tattoos. Hers is on the back of her neck. Mine is on my hip, so I can't show you that one either.

unknown

Take your gloves off.

SPEAKER_01

$40. I've learned my phrase.

SPEAKER_00

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

What do people still need for us?

SPEAKER_00

Listen. Anyways. You have to start somewhere.

SPEAKER_01

Anyways. Um, so it's been and then when we were there last time, we were like, uh, this is the last tattoo either one of us are gonna get. It's fine. And then I think as we were recording our last episode, she's like, hey, they're doing another flower stuff.

SPEAKER_00

And I'm like, Yep. And we decided to go do that.

SPEAKER_01

Let's do it. Um, I got a moon, she got a flower. Anyways, yeah, we got tattoos. Sorry, daughter interrupted. Um, don't ask why she's still awake. I don't know. I don't want her to be a little bit more than that. That's a great question. She's been inside for an hour and a half, and she's still refusing to sleep. Two sugars today.

SPEAKER_00

Um so funny. But yeah, so it took us longer to wait in line.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, that's what we were talking about before she came out.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so last time, um, they always started at 12 o'clock. Last time we got there at like 10, but there was nobody there, and we sat in the car for like 30, 45 minutes before people started lining up, and then we got out of the car and got in line, and we were one of the first people in. This time we were like, okay, we'll get there an hour early. It was so full. Bruh. We got there like 45 minutes early. Like 30, 45 minutes. No. We were late. We were there like we got there at 10.30. Yeah. So we were there an hour and a half early. That's what I sorry guys. I'm like half asleep. So we got there at 10:30. Yeah. The line was already so full.

SPEAKER_00

So long. And the weather was crazy.

SPEAKER_01

It was, and we are not exaggerating. It was raining, snowing, and hailing all at the same time while we were while one of us was waiting outside.

SPEAKER_00

So we got there and the line was long, so Mel was like, let me out and I'm gonna go wait in line.

SPEAKER_01

Because people were walking to the line, and I didn't want us to like be further behind. So I'm like, Right, just let me out. I'll wait. And then go park and come back.

SPEAKER_00

Right. So it took me like a long time to find a parking spot, and then while I was trying to park, she called me and was like, Hey, they're doing a list, just stay in the car, or just like park, and I will put us both on the list. And so I stayed in the car, found a parking spot, stayed in the car while Miss Mel got very, very wet.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, because while she was parking, like as I got in the line, the guy came out of the building and he was like, Okay, what we're gonna do because of the weather is we're gonna have a waiting list. You're gonna put your name down on the waiting list. And I was in the back of the line, he was at the front. That's all I heard, so I didn't know what was happening. So I'm like, so that's when I called her. I'm like, okay, there's a waiting list, like they're about to send it back, like just stay in the car, it's but I'll put us both, like, no need for both of us to be miserable right now. I was outside there in 45 minutes.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah, it was a it was a while.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Before I got to the wait list. I don't know what they were doing at the beginning. Like, I don't know. Yeah. But I didn't see the list until 45 minutes later, so I put us both on it. Um, and it was raining, so I think what happened is they kept trying to do the list, but it the sheets kept getting wet, so they had to keep bringing new ones out. And then eventually, when it was like, how many people were on my list? Or on our list, because we were the we were three sheets. Yeah. Um I think they were they six or seventh on the third sheet. Sheet. And by like the first few, they were like, you know what, we'll just have you guys come inside and sign it. So I did get to go inside and sign it, but that was after being outside, and I'm a dumbass for this. I forgot my jacket. Even after saying, Oh, I'm gonna be smart and bring the sweater. Last year I didn't bring a jacket either. So this year I'm like, oh my god, the weather's gonna be so terrible. I'm gonna wear a sweater, which I did, and I'm gonna wear my jacket, we're gonna be good. We got there. I looked around and I'm like, I forget my jacket. You shirt it. Silly. So I stood outside in the rain, in the hail, and we had a windstorm at winding with the gusts being like 23 miles per hour. It was so windy, it was crazy. With no jacket for 45 miles, because I thought, like, I thought we were just gonna bring a shoot. We were gonna sign it and I was gonna go. I didn't know I was gonna keep waiting. I mean, like, even if I did know, I still wouldn't have made you wait with me, but I would have been like, hey, give me your jacket. Right. I didn't know. I just kept yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So long story short, we got tattoos. Yeah, we got tattoos, and it was a really long process, and we waited. So sheet three was like they told us to come back at three o'clock, and uh we waited another so we got there at 10 30.

SPEAKER_01

They told us to leave and come back at three o'clock. Mind you, I live an hour away. Yes, so we couldn't just go back to my house. So we went shopping. Yep. Um, we decided on a new recording central, which we'll talk to you guys about. Yes. Um, it's not gonna affect you guys.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it doesn't affect you at all.

SPEAKER_01

Just us and my mental health. Um so we went shopping at Walmart because we're recording our St. Patrick's Day today episode today. We wanted to get um a green drink.

SPEAKER_00

And it's 10 41.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god. I know, I know, I know. So, and then we went to a liquor store because Walmart didn't have anything. And then we went to Chili's because we still had over an hour left. Yeah. And we ate boneless wings at Chili's, and then we went and we sat in the tattoo shop for another. We got there at 2 50. Yeah. Because they told us not to come early. Right. So we listened to the rules. We still came 10 minutes early, but we listened to the rules, okay? We didn't get in until like three minutes early. I was gonna say we didn't walk in until like 3 57 or 2 57. And then we sat in there and we waited, and we didn't get called back until 5 o'clock.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. We didn't leave until 5 30. But that's so crazy. We literally waited for five hours for 20 minutes of tattoo, and it was worth it. Okay. 20 minutes total. Yes. 20 minutes total because they're small. Right? Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Mine is even smaller than that. It's cute. It's just like a little crescent minute. It literally took him like five minutes to do mine. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And he was great. It was worth it. It's always worth it.

SPEAKER_01

We are planning. I know we just said that uh we weren't gonna get any more tattoos than we got these ones, but we're actually planning on getting a kind of uh the thing is I know she's gonna want this tattoo when she finished. I we talk about thrown of glass every single week. Yeah. I'm gonna get a throne of glass tattoo. I'm pretty sure she's gonna want to get a matching one with me. So I'm waiting until she finishes it and decides if she's gonna get the tattoo before I get mine. But I'm getting mine no matter what. Yeah. Um, and mine is kind of gonna connect to the one that I got today, which is why it's on my rib, because I'm gonna get a sword underneath it that says you do not yield. I'm gonna get gold or in with you do not yield on it. Oh my god, it's so pretty. Um, yeah, yeah. We got a cat too today. So she has been here for 12 hours, but this time, zero issues because we just set everything up and started recording. We did. We're gonna do amazing.

SPEAKER_00

We're getting pretty good at this.

SPEAKER_01

And speaking of the liquor stores, we got bombtail margaritas! We were going to drink ing just the St. Patrick's Day episode, but it's all been a long day. So we're gonna pop this open. Yeah. And we're gonna drink just a little bit. We are not going to get tipsy or drinking. No, no. I guess I'm right.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah. Contential us. I didn't even open it.

SPEAKER_01

Hold on. Okay. That sucked.

SPEAKER_00

It's not a better in real life.

SPEAKER_01

I didn't get my nails! I don't even care anymore. Yeah, she got good nails. Uh, we've never had these before. We saw them out our way to checkout.

SPEAKER_00

They're kind of like buzz balls.

SPEAKER_01

They're 15% alcohol, but they're supposed to taste like margaritas. Cheers. Bottoms up. That is disgusting. But I will drink it. I don't think it's too bad. It'd probably be better quite. I it tastes like Okay. It tastes like what I would make my margarita taste like after I had already drink a picture of it.

SPEAKER_00

Well, yeah, I mean, there's a lot of alcohol in that little bowl. So that is strong. It is strong. Very strong. So, what are we talking about today?

SPEAKER_01

I did not have to check my notes. Last week was a um Stephanie episode where she did all of the notes of the talking. This week it's a male episode where I had all of the ideas. She did put some input in because we are talking about dreams. Dreams.

SPEAKER_00

You know those dreams that you just sometimes you dream and you you don't remember anything about them when you wake up, but then you have those dreams that are like, why the hell would I dream that up? Yeah. That's what we're talking about. Um, those ones.

SPEAKER_01

Basically, well, that's not what my dream is. Oh um, basically, I have been having these really weird dreams where in my dreams I talk to myself.

SPEAKER_00

What?

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Wait, so you see yourself in the dream, or are you just oh, so you're like looking at yourself.

SPEAKER_01

Like like office vibes. Okay.

unknown

What?

SPEAKER_00

That's weird. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. So I've had three of these dreams this year, like 2026 this year. I'm gonna go through the most recent one. The most recent one is the lightest way of that. That still happened in it, but the other two were insane, and the other two connected to each other. Ooh, that's weird. Yeah, so I'm gonna go with my last dream first, and then we're gonna do a little bit of dream analysis. Let's see how it I've never done a dream analysis on myself before. Like, that's not something I ever like really believed in. But my dreams have been so weird, I kinda wanna try it. Okay, so uh That's why I told you to put down one of your weird dreams so we can analyze it too.

SPEAKER_00

Well, tell me about dream analysis. What does that mean? Like, how are we doing that?

SPEAKER_01

So, from the very little research I did, because I don't do nothing, um, you put in like certain symbols of your dream. Like, I I have a lot of dreams about mass shootings. Okay, so many dreams about mass shootings that I'm like 90% sure that's how I died in the past life. Okay, like a lot of dreams about them. They're insane, and like so many different kinds, not even just like one specific kind. I have so many shooting dreams, and all of them are mass shootings. So, like searching mass shootings in a dream, like what that represents. Okay. Um, if your teeth fall out in your future, do you have that? That represents um self-confidence, like you don't have a lot of self-confidence. Okay, your hair falling out, things like that. So, like symbols that you see in your dream that are important to you, like animals, crows, birds, things like that. Okay. So I try to write down my dream as um detailed as possible from what I could remember as soon as I woke up because I woke up and I was like, I need to talk like this has happened too many weird times, like, I need to talk about it. Okay. And I was smart and I put it down on my daughter's iPad. And don't come at me for my daughter having an iPad. The only thing she has on here is a reading app and YouTube Kids, which she's not even allowed to use anymore because I we we tried it and I didn't like YouTube Kids, so and now a notes app that I now use for myself. There's also YouTube, but that's because her iPad is big I'm not YouTube Netflix, but that's because I use it because her iPad is bigger than mine. My phone, I don't have an iPad. I was just gonna say, you don't have to I do not have an iPad. I have my phone. There's uh screen limits, you can only be on it for a certain amount of time, and it locks after a certain day. I mean after a certain time, so I have to put in my password. Okay. So this stream I had. When did I text you to do this? Um uh geez. Less than a week ago, because it was between the last time we recorded, which was last Sunday and today. Which is Friday. Friday. So within the past five days. Yeah. I would say probably like three days ago. I think so. That sounds right. Okay. So I'm just gonna read what I wrote. So in my dream, I was living with my cousin. I'm gonna call her Dee. Um, me and Dee do not talk. She lives in Texas. Um, we used to be really close when we both lived in Ohio, and then her family moved to Texas, and we just kind of drifted apart. Um, I have not talked to Dee since her sister's wedding. When was the last time I went to Texas?

SPEAKER_00

Um, you went to Texas when we were still working together. Yeah, so like two years?

SPEAKER_01

Two years. I haven't talked to her in two years, okay? So I was living with her. We were not living in my house, and we were not living in her house. The house that we were living in, I've never been to. I don't know whose house this is. Usually, like when you live with like a random, it's like it's somewhere similar, like you're either living at their place or your place. Like, I don't know if you're familiar with it. Yeah, I don't know this place. I can't even tell you what state it was in. Okay. So we were living in this place, and Zoe, my dog, was in this dream. One of Zoe's toys had fleas. Zoe didn't have fleas. One of her toys, you could see the fleas crawling in the stuffy's fur. Okay. So I was like, okay, I need to treat Zoe because if her toys have fleas, she's probably gonna get the fleas. And I decided to go get a flea kit from a casino.

SPEAKER_00

Makes sense.

SPEAKER_01

I've never been to a casino before. I've never been in a casino. We've talked about this. I got pregnant at 22.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

That kind of stops you from doing things that you were only allowed to do at 21, because at 21 I was a flight attendant and had zero downtime. We should go sometime. We should go sometime. We do have like a bunch right next to us. Yeah. Okay. So in this casino, I'm a hundred percent sure this is not what a casino looks like. I have no reference except for what I see on TV, but inside of it, it was really dark except for dark neon blue lights. There were no slot machines, there's no games, no craft tables. Well, that's definitely not what a casino looks like. But in my dream it was a casino. Right, right, right. Um, I'm not like saying, oh, it was not it was a casino in my dream. Yeah. It was just a ginormous building that was super dark. Except for like neon blue, like dark neon blue landing strip. Like what are those what are those called? Like just strips of blue.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, just like the LED like strip lights?

SPEAKER_01

Like that. Okay. It's kind of what I imagine like a strip club would look like. Yeah, that's what it sounds like. So I don't know. I have no idea. We can do that too.

SPEAKER_00

I've also never been inside a strip club. I've been inside other parts of a strip club.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, I've never. Okay, so I get to the casino to get the fleet kit, and inside, again, it's just like this giant building, it's dark, it's blue. Um, and all along like the per perimeter, perimeter, there are walls, and the walls are like waist length, and on top of the walls, there's different prizes. There's like stuffed animals, there's gift bags, there's like do you remember those, um, not I mean they still have them, but like from Bath and Body Works where they have those like huge gift bags with like stone inside it? Yeah, like like that. And then there would just be like anything you could think of, like books and stuff, they would just be sitting on the walls for anybody to grab and to take. So I'm like looking through everything trying to find flea medicine. But there's nothing even similar to flea medicine like it was there were prizes. Or flea. No, I'm just like look I'm not touching anything. I'm just like scanning the walls. Okay. And They weren't really categorized, but I just kept looking for things like pet stuff or like medicine or something like where you caught similar. Yeah, exactly. And then there was you know like maid cards, how they have those like big cloth things that you put like linens in?

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. There's like one of those filled with just random stuff. Okay. Like what I guess like a clearance bin of free gifts. Okay. I don't know. But sitting on top of there was a fleek it. Okay. So I grabbed it. And I was walking back with it, and some man kept calling my name. You like it was just Mel. Mel. Mel. Oh, like trying to get your attention? Yeah. And in my dream, I stiffened, I took the flea kit and held it, and like in my head a voice in my head, it was my voice in my head, but it wasn't me. It was like my voice talking to myself, saying, Don't answer that, don't look up, don't turn around, keep walking. So I never looked at the man that was calling my name. I just walked out. And then when I got to the parking lot, my cousin D was there. And she was screaming at me. She was like, Wake up! You need to wake up! Wake up right now. And I just looked at her and I'm like, I'm awake. I am awake. And then she was like, wake up right now. And then she started shaking me. And when she shook me, I woke up on the floor of the parking lot.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, so you like woke up in your dream, but you're still dreaming?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, like I was knocked out.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Like I woke up and I looked at her and I was like, what happened? Yeah. And she was like, Where's your car keys? And I looked around and I'm like, where's my car? And she was like, Where's your car keys? And I'm like, my car is gone. She was like, Where's your car keys? And I'm like, somebody stole my car. And she was so mad that I lost my car keys and the fleet kit was open. And then I woke up when I noticed that the fleet kit was open.

SPEAKER_00

Ew. I chill. Yeah. That's the tame one? That was my tame one, yeah. That's so creepy. I already have.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, now that I said it out loud, that one was creepy. The other two aren't creepy, but I talked to myself in the other ones way more than I talked myself in that one.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

I already have that. The other one was scary. I already have that. Okay, well, we were having that. Let's hear it. Well, I know No, this one doesn't connect to the other two.

SPEAKER_00

The other two connect to each other, though. Okay. So I know that when so when you have dreams about like yourself and you're very like it feels very real, once you start acknowledging the people who are in your dreams, and you start thinking to yourself, I'm dreaming. No, you didn't do this in the dream. But once you start acknowledging the people in your dream, they say that you need to wake up.

SPEAKER_01

Otherwise, yeah, you're just like you're not supposed to ask people like who they are or what time it is and stuff like that.

SPEAKER_00

Right. So I don't know, the the fact that your cousin was like, you need to wake up.

SPEAKER_01

I feel like there was and that like I was telling myself, don't look at him, like don't answer him. Like keep walking, keep your head down, just leave.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I feel like something was about to come for you in a dream.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

That's creepy.

SPEAKER_01

So um I can pull up a dream analysis website and we can look at this shit and see if you're right.

SPEAKER_00

Let's do it. Yeah, I feel like that definitely has to do with like your cousin was trying to protect you from something. Yeah. Um, did you recognize the man's voice? No. Okay. No, not even in the dream. No. Okay. Can you still hear it?

SPEAKER_01

No.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

I don't remember what it sounds like. I just remember like it was just him getting my attention.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. Sometimes, like, my sister has really, really dreams, and uh, she has dreams where like they're so like realistic that she can still remember them. She's also seen, and this is just an intermission while you look up the website, but she's also seen um the same man her whole life. She can picture this man perfectly. She has no idea who he is, where he came from, like if she dreamed about him once, or like where he came from, but she can picture this man to this day.

SPEAKER_01

I have a man like that from my dream. When I was really young, when I was in um, I was young enough to still be going to after school care, so I was like too young to be by myself. I would say like probably my dog, like six, seven. Okay. I was sharing a room with my brother who was a year older, so that like just shows you how young we were. And we were living in a townhouse, and there was a window above my bed. And the first time I ever dreamed of this man, he knocked on the window. Please don't say he was peeking. He knocked on the window. I looked to see, and he was there. And then I screamed in my dream, and then he teleported inside, and he was naked. No clothes on at all. I didn't see his like outfit, because I was I had never seen one before, so I didn't know what it looked like. He was just like blank down there, like a doll. Yeah, okay. Still though. And he just sat in with like his knees in his arms, like something about and he just sat like this. Ew. Naked. Ew.

SPEAKER_00

Ew. Ew.

SPEAKER_01

Like he wasn't staring at me, he just like, uh-uh.

SPEAKER_00

Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope.

SPEAKER_01

I dreamed about him so many times. And he never talked to me in the dreams. He just would appear in my room just in the field position. In the field position. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I don't like that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so maybe it was him. I've never heard his voice. Okay. Because he never talked to me when I was younger.

SPEAKER_00

Ooh, weirda.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

What should I put for the dream analysis? Dark casino. I think you should put fleas. Because for some reason the flea was like a huge part of it. Nope, not flea. Fleas. Okay. And I'm on dreamdictionary.com, y'all. Very, very authentic and real. Very clear. We only do the best video, guys. Very credible. Okay, the problem is it's just about like flea, not the bugs flea.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, I have it.

SPEAKER_01

Go ahead.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. So dreaming about fleas typically symbolizes minor annoyances, anxieties, or persistent irritations in your waking life, often representing small problems that feel overwhelming. These dreams can suggest feelings of being drained, manipulated, or bothered by insignificant yet persistent challenges. So irritation and stress, anxiety and fear, blood-sucking situations or people, and then also neglected areas. So like a need to pay attention to something in your life.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Let's see that dreams about casinos um appear when you might be taking a chance or a risk at something in your life.

SPEAKER_00

Hmm.

SPEAKER_01

Which makes sense. Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Um, but like I feel good about people screaming at you.

SPEAKER_01

I feel like a casino isn't even like the right like in my dream I knew it was a casino. It was called a casino, but it wasn't a casino. Yeah. I don't know. It was just like a really dark building with a bunch of random stuff in there that anybody could take, and then my flea box.

SPEAKER_00

So being told to wake up in a dream often signifies a need for increased self-awareness, self-reflection, or a call to address neglected issues in your waking life. Okay, so this is similar to fleas. Weird. So there's something that it can also represent, and this is also what I was gonna say because in your dream you woke up, but you were still dreaming. Yeah. That usually means that you're like about to enter a lucid dream.

unknown

Huh.

SPEAKER_01

Um But like I wouldn't even say that, like, I woke, it was like Or it's like you passed out. Yeah, and then I didn't know I was passed out until she like shook me awake, and then it was like Am I on the ground? Right. It was like what happened? So weird. Yeah, I don't know. You guys analyze my dream for me. Tell me what it means. You guys are better than I am.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, so the two that are connected, let's talk about it.

SPEAKER_01

So the two that are connected, those happened last month. Okay. Oh, probably know what it happened before we started this podcast, probably like two months ago. Where's my dream? Oh, I've got it. Um, so it probably happened like two months ago because they both happened before we started this podcast. The first one was as you guys know, um, I'm a writer and I'm writing a book. So the first one I was working on my laptop, I was writing something, and in my dream, I was just like writing, and I told myself, oh, this is really good. And then I looked up, like again, like a like office stuff, so I was like looking up, and then I looked up, and I knew I was talking to myself, and I was like, This is a really good idea, you should do this idea, and then I went back and just finished working. Oh, and then I woke up the next morning and I could not remember what I wrote, like I don't remember what I was like reminding myself to remember, right? So I would say probably like a week later, I had a dream where again I was working on my laptop, I was working on a new book. It wasn't the book that I was working on. I don't remember what book I was working on the first book. Okay, like I don't know if it was the book that I'm actually writing or a new idea, but I know for sure in the second dream I was not working on the book that I'm writing. That you're actually writing. Okay. And I know in my dream, I was like, this is a great idea. This is amazing. You better not forget it this time. When you wake up, you're going to write this.

SPEAKER_00

Oh my gosh. Do you want to get it? No. Yeah. No.

SPEAKER_01

I'm so bad with that's why I that's why I wrote down so many details because I want to know what I was trying to tell myself. I was trying to tell myself because I was like, you better write this. This is important. You need to write this. Yeah. I don't remember what I wanted to tell myself. But like this entire year, I've been trying to give myself messages in my dreams. Yeah. And that's never happened to me before. And now all of a sudden I've had three where I've talked to myself in my dream.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I feel like they all kind of represent the same thing. I feel like it's maybe you're not giving yourself enough attention in your waking hours, and so your your subconscious is like, you need to pay attention to this. Maybe. Yeah. Weird.

SPEAKER_01

Uh that's so weird. And my my subconscious was like my subconscious was like, well, the first two writing books weren't extreme enough. So we're gonna throw a demon at ya.

SPEAKER_00

We're gonna make naked man come unfetal position. So yeah, those were my weird three dreams. Um you wake up from those, were you just like, were you very unsettled? Were you like, I don't understand why I would do that.

SPEAKER_01

The first one, I was like, oh, that was kind of cool. Um, the second time, I was like, I woke up frustrated with myself because I'm like, I I knew deep down that like I was supposed to learn something in that dream, and I could not remember what it was. But then it never happened again, so I just kind of forgot about it. But this time when I woke up, I immediately grabbed my phone and I wrote down as much I didn't read the entire dream, there's like way more detail, and right I wrote down, and something just told me like it's important, I need to write all of this down. So I don't I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

That's so weird.

SPEAKER_01

So I'm gonna keep tracking my dreams like those. I those are the only three dreams that I have like really remembered. I have weird dreams all the time, and I have usually have pretty vivid dreams, but I forget them almost immediately. As soon as you wake up, yeah. These three have like stuck with me. Yeah, this is so weird. I think I might start doing like a dream journal where I track every single one of my dreams. You should do it. You should do it. Yeah, I'll see if it was like a good thing. Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Alright, so what was your weird dreams? Weird dreams. I will start by saying that my dreams, this is very much like it's my dreams. I have started having these kind of dreams when my grandpa died. Okay. And he died, I believe, in 2019. Okay. Something like that. It was before COVID. So um, after he passed away, he uh immediately started visiting me in my dreams.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. And uh the first time he visited in my dreams. Hold on. I'm sorry, I was so dismissive of that. I already knew that. Sorry guys, I was just like, yeah, yeah, yeah, no. I knew that he visited her in the dream. That's why it wasn't just like a whatever.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, no. She was a good story, but sorry. But for those who haven't, uh which is all of you, um I just most I like immediately, I was like, oh god, that sounded so bad. You're good. So the first time he visited me in a dream, I knew that he was about to appear, and I knew this because what happened was I was in the bedroom that my grandma and my grandpa used to share, and I was sitting in my grandma's bed, and I got this really weird feeling that my grandpa was about to show up, and so I did something in my dream. I don't know if it was like I closed my eyes, I like you know, like meditate. I don't know what I did, but I did something to prepare for his arrival, and then it was him like calming you with his aura, like maybe, yeah, like so. Then I start getting this golden glow around my body, and then he just kind of slowly fades in to the dream, and uh in the I'm not scared in the dream, by the way, it's not scary at all. Yeah, I see him and I'm like, Oh my god, hi, I miss you so much. Like, I was really happy to see him, and uh he said hi honey, like he they he always used to say to me, my sister, and um he was like, Yeah, they told me that I could come visit for a little bit, and I was like, Oh, that's so awesome. And did you ask who they were? No, I didn't. Um call him back. That's funny. Um, no, I didn't ask him who they were, but he said to me because I asked him how he was, and he was like, Oh, I'm so good. Like, it's just so funny because uh your grandma and your mom and your dad think that I don't know what's going on, and they think that I can't hear anything, and but I can, I know exactly what they're doing, like I know what's happening, I know that they're gonna turn the car phone off. My grandpa used to mow the lawns in the trailer park of everybody, so they had a cell phone, yeah. And um, he was like, I know they're thinking about turning the phone off, and like it's just he was cracking up at the fact that he still knew what was going on, and I was like, Oh yeah, that's so funny. And that was basically the dream. Um, I don't remember him leaving, I just woke up, um, and then the next day I told my mom about the dream, and she looked at me and was like, We literally had a conversation about turning the cell phone off because they didn't need it anymore, like three nights ago. And I was like, What? That's creepy. The second time he came to me in a dream, I did ask him if there was a heaven, and he just kind of chuckled and said, sometimes. And I was like, Well, what the fuck does that mean? But lay that on me. Yeah, and that was it. He didn't really explain anything more, so that was the second time. So So basically, we need to have a list of questions ready for next time he visits you. Yeah, he hasn't visited me in a very long time. I bet he will today. I I I bet he will. And I will say, my grandma's southwell. Um, where are you? She hasn't visited me once. Actually, You know what? They might be busy together. They might be busy, yeah. They're probably arguing.

SPEAKER_01

So I saw you turn off that damn car phone.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. So I lied, my grandma has visited me, but the one time she visited me, she was so cranky. She was like mad about dumb things, which was like what? Was kind of her. She was just like grumpy that nothing was cleaned up or like and we were in her her home. Oh, like in the home, not in like heaven. Yes, no, she we were in sometime seven. Yeah, in the sometime seven. Um, yeah, she just wasn't it wasn't pleasant like my grandpa was. And so I don't know if that just means that in the afterlife she wasn't necessarily happy yet, or well, was she like that when she was Yes, very much so.

SPEAKER_01

I feel like you are who you are, like no matter where you are.

SPEAKER_00

If that's how she was down here, yeah, like I don't think heaven's gonna fix that. No, probably not. So all of that was to kind of preface this dream that I'm gonna talk about. So Do I know this dream? No, I don't think so. Okay. So this dream was uh um this dream that I had was very recent. Okay. And it was probably like three weeks ago. And it's really hard to explain. Okay. So in the morning time on the weekend, Jason wakes up at 4 30, no matter what day it is. AM and he uh will just like on the weekends he will get up, he'll feed the dogs, and then he'll just sit in the living room and watch YouTube and probably fall back asleep on the couch. But he just likes to get up early. Yeah, so whenever that happens, I move over into his spot, obviously, and I usually just go back to sleep. Well, he did that, everything was normal. Um, but it felt like I wasn't falling back asleep. I was waiting to fall back asleep still when I had this dream, so the dream felt like reality because I didn't know that I had fallen asleep yet. So weird things started happening, like there was some random gym equipment in our bedroom. Our bedroom was expanded, and my dresser was missing. Where my dresser was, there was gym equipment, and it started, it was those two ropes. Yeah, okay. So it started moving on its own, and basically what I would see is like this, it wasn't blue, it was I think gold. It would like go from one rope to the other, and then when the light was on it, it would like jump. Like the same gold that your grandpa was? A little bit, but it was different. So I started moving on their own, and I started feeling like I was floating, and in the dream, which I thought was reality, I realized I was about to switch dimensions. Oh, yeah, but I was scared that if I did that, I would get stuck because I thought that I was awake. So I was like, I can't switch dimensions, so I tried to fight it, um, but then all of a sudden it was light outside and it was sunny, and I was like, No, I switched dimensions, so I didn't even move, like I laid there in. Bed, like in reality, this entire dream I was laying in bed, um, like I was when Jason left the room, just hoping to wake up in the the right dimension, and I don't know how I woke up, but I did, and uh again and the sun is out, and I because the sun is out, and I knew that it was 4 30 when Jason left, I knew the sun wouldn't be out, so I knew because the sun was out, I was in a different dimension. Yeah, so I was like, no, this is not happening, and something inside of me was like, open your eyes, let's go explore. And I was like, hell no. I was like, I'm not getting stuck in this dimension. We are going back to sleep and we are praying that we wake up in the right dimension. So then I woke up in real life, obviously it was in the right dimension, and I was like, Oh, thank god.

SPEAKER_01

And that was how do you know this isn't the different dimension?

SPEAKER_00

Girl, don't even start with me. Sorry. But that was basically the dream. Um, and uh I looked at the clock before all of this dream happened. It was 4 51. When I woke up, it was 5 02. So all of that happened in like 10 minutes. Dang. Yeah. When the gym equipment started moving in my dream, I thought about asking Jason to come back in the room, and I was like, Are you seeing this? Like, I wanted to be like, Are you seeing what I'm seeing right now? This is crazy. Why is this doing this? So it and that is kind of like a lucid dream. Yeah. Right? When you're you feel like you're awake but you're dreaming. That's what lucid dreaming is.

SPEAKER_01

It was like, I feel like that's like kind of a lucid dream meets sleep paralysis.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, sleep paralysis. Yeah. But there weren't any demons. That's nice. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Although I don't know, because yeah, no, me neither.

SPEAKER_00

Maybe sleep paralysis demon is Jimmy Quitman. That jokes out. Love it. No, but that was it was so weird, and I remember waking up and being like, I don't want to go back to sleep because I'm scared. So I don't think there's much to analyze there. I think it was just a weird that does seem just like a weird dream where you fell asleep but didn't fall asleep at the same time. Yeah, when you're in that weird, like in-between of a different dimension. So weird.

SPEAKER_01

So Alright, well, those are our weird dreams. I hope you learned a little bit more about us. If you have weird dreams, you should tell us. Oh my gosh, yes. We'll we won't analyze them, but we will feel less weird about ours. We'll read them. If you have ever talked to yourself in a dream and given yourself a message, please let me know because I've asked so many people and nobody else has done that. So I I want I for real want to know. Yeah. Um, topic two. So this takes me back to episode one, where our first episode we I saw a question on TikTok and I asked her the question, and that was pretty much the whole episode.

SPEAKER_00

And we were like, we got this. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So my new TikTok question for you is if someone attacked you in a farmer's market, which fruitslash vegetable would you use to defend yourself?

SPEAKER_00

There's so many that you could choose from.

SPEAKER_01

So immediately and like the goal is that your fruit would not just like s uh uh defend you from the attack, but like you would win the attack.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, you would win the fight. So my first thoughts are I need to think logistically. So I have to pick something that I can easily pick up, so I'm not gonna pick like a pumpkin or something big or heavy. Yeah. Right? Then I have to think about what are the most common allergies? Because uh I think that I would pick. Jeez, I don't know. Do you have an answer?

SPEAKER_01

I have two that I keep going back and forth on. Okay. So my first my first like instinct was coconut. Oh. Maybe in Hawaii. Question did not say where it's. Like my first thought was coconut, like it's really hard. You could use a sample and just and then my second thought, because uh I'm not violent and I don't want to get my hands dirty, was a pepper, a hot pepper. Oh. Cut it in half, spray the juices in his eyes, shove it down his throat, and then grab the coconut. I mean, it's a he also smashed.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, you've given me things to think about. Um those are my two answers.

SPEAKER_01

Either a hot pepper or a coconut.

SPEAKER_00

So my first thought is uh a cucumber. Because yeah, so one of my ex's dads grew cucumbers in his garden. Okay. And those things are pokey when like when they're fresh from the garden. So I'm thinking if if people don't clean up their cucumbers and they just like bring them straight from the garden to the farmer's market, a cucumber would be really stabby. What why not a pineapple for that same theory? Um, a cucumber fits better in my hand. Yeah, and pineapples can be soft and juicy. But it would get an advantage. But if it's at like a farmer's market, it would be fresh. Yeah, that's true. So it probably wouldn't be squishy like the top would be scabby cheeks. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

If we could pick a pineapple, yeah, you've given me a lot to think about. Because now that gives me the juice. Because like pineapples have have you seen I I know I have ADHD, guys. Okay. Have you seen that TikTok of that guy who just eats everything? And he'll be like, What do you mean? How fast do you think I can eat these three jalapenos? I think five minutes. And then he like pushes a timer and he like eats it. No. So he was like, How fast do you think I can eat this coconut? I think 12 minutes. And he just takes a bite of the coconut shell. What? And and he'll do that. Like, he'll whatever he eats. Did he get a chunk of it? He'll Yeah. Oh my god, and swell yeah, I know. And like he'll eat like, How fast do you think I can eat a raw potato? But the point was he did it with a pineapple, and he ate the skin of the pineapple, and his mouth started bleeding.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I bet it did. I bet it did. That's crazy. Yeah. If I could pick anything from a farmer's market, it would definitely be like nuts. Because that's the most common allergy. So yeah, if I could pick anything from a farmer's market, it would definitely be like a homemade product, like fresh peanut butter or something that people would be. So, but fruit or vegetable, I would pick cucumber or um, I'm thinking like a squash. Ooh, those are nice. Yeah, they're big, um, but they're not super heavy. They have like a nice handle with like a exactly like a hammer. Swing it like a bat. Yeah. Interesting.

SPEAKER_01

TikTok is weird. Oh, you know what else would be a good one? Think of the name. But isn't there that fruit that's poisonous if you don't cook it? Or that vegetable that's poisonous if you don't cook it? Is it jackfruit?

SPEAKER_00

I have no idea. Yeah, I don't know either. Um just force feed it to your attacker. I would. You get close enough to their mouth, just jalapeno. Jalapino. I have the eyes.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Yeah. Just in the hotspiver, and that that's it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's a good idea. So, what's your beef of the week this week?

SPEAKER_01

Men again. So we've been trying to grow our audience. Um, so I posted a clip of us talking about the roundabouts. Okay, and I will say the clip that I posted was a very short part of that segment where it was basically like my beef of the week is roundabouts, um, especially the two and three lane ones because people don't know how to use them, so they should be illegal because like we like in my area specifically, we went from having zero to them putting four all at once, and there's no signs that teach you how to use them. Right. So I grew up in the South, so we had them. I know how to use them. Um, but like specifically in that in that clip, I just put people don't know how to use them, there's no signs that teach you how to use them. So they should be illegal. Like the two and three lane ones should be illegal because they're dangerous. Because there's no signs to teach you how to use them. Right. And we got all these men in the comments.

SPEAKER_00

My god.

SPEAKER_01

Tell me you know how to drive without telling me you don't know how to drive. Or tell me you don't know how to drive without telling me you don't know how to drive.

SPEAKER_00

Roundabouts are good for the environment, and if they confuse you, you should have it, your license removed from you.

SPEAKER_01

Real riveting stuff, girls. Maybe you should ask Julie how to look up a roundabout. Don't know who Julie is. Julie. Just stuff like that. Like people mansplaining to us why roundabouts are good, and if we don't know how to use them, yeah, then we don't know how to drive and we're stupid.

SPEAKER_00

Like if we just watch the whole episode.

SPEAKER_01

And even in the clip, we never said we didn't know how to use them. Right. We just said that they're dangerous.

SPEAKER_00

Don't know how to use them.

SPEAKER_01

And we sp and specifically in that clip, we're like, it's dangerous because they should have out of nowhere, no one has to use them, no one knows how to use them, and there's no signs of teaching. Like that was it. Yeah. It was a 30-second clip, and it somehow got onto the man side of TikTok. And then but now we have a new joke because the first man who commented who was like, tell me you don't know how to drive without telling me you don't know how to drive, his name was Connor. Connor, all day, anytime we did anything, we were like, This is Connor's fault. Connor would have a field day with it. She said something so I oh no, you were speeding again. Oh yeah. Watched last episode, you know that's nothing new. And I just looked at her and I was like, we're good. Connor is right about you.

unknown

Oh funny.

SPEAKER_00

Connor was right about you.

SPEAKER_01

So we've just we've been having fun with it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, Connor, you're a meme now. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

You are a personal beef.

SPEAKER_00

So what is your beef of the week? My beef of the week is uh Okay, so Monday through Thursday, Jason makes my coffee at home for me, and he does such a good job. He doesn't even drink coffee. Whatever. Um, that's not my beef. Okay. My beef is on Fridays, I buy coffee.

SPEAKER_02

Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_00

And uh, I usually go to Duncan and I order it on my mobile app so I can just scoop through the drive-thru and get through. The problem is Friday is a very popular day for people to stop and get coffee, and my beef is with people who don't pre-order or mobile order before 8 a.m. People are trying to go to work. Once it hits 8 a.m. You don't have to pre-order or mobile order anymore. But if you want coffee before, like from the hours of 7, no, no, no, like 6 to 8 a.m. You only mobile order because you're making the rest of us late. Because we've already mobile ordered, and we're probably already running late. But coffee is not optional. To play no advocate. I don't like when you do this.

SPEAKER_01

A lot of people don't like to put their credit cards on a bunch of apps. How many apps a day get hacked? I say this as someone who pre-orders literally everything.

SPEAKER_00

There's also the option to pay at the window. You don't have to pay right there.

SPEAKER_01

Not with a lot of places like McDonald's, you can't. I'm talking about specifically Dunkin' Donuts. I don't know. I I don't use Dunkin' Donuts. Um, but like I go to a lot of co- I will say with Take Breakfast Statement. I don't pre-order everywhere. If I have the app, I will pre-order. But I mean if I'm driving by a Tim Horton and I'm early, I'm gonna be like, okay, I'm gonna train it myself, and I will go, and I won't pre-order because I'm not gonna download an app while I'm waiting in the drive-thru to make a coffee that morning.

SPEAKER_00

Well, I'm just here to say you're the problem. And it's not my fault, you're like but here, okay, I don't like you. So, okay, I can however I am a rational person, so I could compromise, and this is how we compromise. If you are not going to mobile order, you cannot take longer than one minute, 60 seconds, to place your order.

SPEAKER_01

Most of the time, that's not the person ordering, it's waiting for them to take your order.

SPEAKER_00

Um, I I would say like 50-50. Because uh, I've also been the person to not between the hours of 6 and 8 a.m., but I've also been the person to be like, mmm, I don't know what I want. What do I want? That's such a good question.

SPEAKER_01

What do I want? But typically, if the line is long, you you know what you want by the time you get there.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's true. Um, I didn't argue your beef of the week. I didn't play devil's advocate with men, so I'm gonna need you to stop. You agreed with my beef of the week. I did. So I need you to agree with mine. This is what this is.

SPEAKER_01

You could be mad all you want, and I will support your beef. Thank you. I'm gonna give you the other side of the beef, but I will support yours. The people did. Did you? Yep. Should I tag Connor? Let me give this opinion real quick.

SPEAKER_00

Connor wouldn't. Yeah. Connor would definitely. No, he wouldn't. Connor doesn't pre-root anything. No. Also, Connor has like 12,000 followers. Yeah, what the hell? Why are you even on our page, Connor? Five. Like, how did you even get here, Connor? You have 12,000 followers. Go find someone else to bully.

SPEAKER_01

He didn't bully us. He just gave us his honest riveting stuff, Connor. That wasn't Connor. That was, I don't, I don't think he was.

SPEAKER_00

No, it wasn't.

SPEAKER_01

No, I don't remember everybody's name. I just remember Connor because he was funny. And they all came in at the same time. Yeah. We were in the car at the waiting, um, it was after we signed the waiting list. We were in the car waiting until 12 o'clock for us to go inside. Yeah. Um when we got all of the calls. One by one. First it was Connor, then it was whoever, then whoever, then whoever. We're like, oh my god, we're getting comments. And they're all me. And I did comment back to them. Yes. So nice. And they never answered me.

SPEAKER_00

Any of them. I know. That's because they're afraid. Yeah. So please go to our TikTok. Follow it. Like, like all of our videos. Get us on. I don't care what side of TikTok you're on, just get us there. Just as long as it's not men. Yeah. I mean, I don't even really care if it's men. I don't hate men as much as you do.

SPEAKER_01

Will they make us already?

SPEAKER_00

I'm just saying. Tell them to be better and I would like them. I would, yeah. I would love to tell a lot of men to be better.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Um.

SPEAKER_01

And while we're doing a call to action. Oh yeah. If you guys could please rate us and leave us reviews if you enjoy us. That is what pushes us out the most. Um. Or better yet, if you think we're funny and you think one of your friends would enjoy us, please send it to them.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Uh, we are really trying to grow and we are kind of stuck in the small hole. And now all of our videos are being pushed out to Connor. The Connors of the world. So it would really help us out if you could leave us a five-star review. Push us somewhere else. And if you could just send us to one friend who you think would enjoy your content. Yeah. And if not, just keep coming back because that's really amazing too, and we love you. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, Connor.

SPEAKER_00

Also. Thanks for the views. Um, we also think that it is really cute when you send us happy thoughts.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my gosh, yes. When you guys tell us that you love us and that you make us feel like we're just talking to besties. We love that.

SPEAKER_00

But we also want to know what pisses you guys off.

SPEAKER_01

Like we want to know your beats. Y'all, we're besties now. We don't need the fluff. Nope. We want the tea. Give us the tea. We want year beats of the week. Yes. Okay. We want to just sit here and gossip about your gossip. Yes. We want that. Please send it to us. Yes. DMs, comments, emails, however you want to. Whatever you want. Give it to us.

SPEAKER_00

Send me a text message. I don't care. You can't text me, sorry. Well, I'm not gonna give everyone my phone number, but I'm just saying if you listen to you happen to have my phone number, you can text me.

SPEAKER_01

We are besties, but ladies, you gotta have boundaries. And my boundaries is giving out my phone number on a random podcast. Not random, but right, right, right.

SPEAKER_00

Also, if you did text her, it would take her approximately seven to ten business days to read.

SPEAKER_01

We should play a game. How many unread text messages does Mel have at this time?

SPEAKER_00

Last time I saw on your phone, it was literally like 314. And the amount of missed calls. Oh my god. Y'all, I'm unreachable. This genuinely, like, I mean, not for me because Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I it it takes me a minute to respond to her.

SPEAKER_00

But I know, like, if it's important, I'll just call you.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Which you may or may not respond to either, but you know, it'll be fine.

SPEAKER_01

I will get back to you. Okay. Sometimes I just don't want to.

unknown

Yeah. It's fine.

SPEAKER_01

It's not that I don't want to. Mostly what it is is I see it and I'm like, I got you. And then gone. That's the ADHD. And then I go to text you, or I'll be like, why didn't this bitch respond? And I'm like, oh, I'm a bit. Forgot to hit send. That's happened a few times. I'm a dumb bitch and I'm a lazy bit. No, lazy was not the right word. No. Dumb bitch on the internet who says things. I know. I was gonna say I'm a dumb bitch and I'm also a what's the word for what I am when I don't answer? I'm a dumb bitch and a neglectful bitch.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I was gonna say negligent.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. I think I have over a hundred missed calls. I have over 32,000 unread emails. At that I can't with you. I like Google monthly is like you're 99% for your Gmail. You have to delete some things because on this day, you're not allowed to get any emails. And then at that point, I will delete 300 emails. Yeah. To get me through to the next month. Right. Just 300. Don't say, why don't you just unsubscribe? Because I try, and then they just keep coming, and then I give up.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I'm just a girl.

SPEAKER_00

I'm just a girl.

SPEAKER_01
