Good afternoon, and welcome to Healing Stream Daily Dose. It's a privilege and it's an honor to be in the land of the living today. God is good, He's worthy, He's deserving of all our praise, all our glory, and all the honor. I'm going to be reading in your hearing today from John, fourth chapter. Um, and I'm gonna skip around uh throughout some verses, but I'm gonna start at the seventh verse. A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, Give me drink. For his disciples had gone away into the city to buy food. And then I'm gonna jump down to verse 13. Where Jesus answered and said unto her, Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again. But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst again. But the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up until everlasting life. The woman said to him, Sir, give me this water that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw. Jesus said to her, Go, call your husband and come here. The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said to her, You have well said, I have no husband, for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband, in that you spoke truly. The woman said to him, Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet, and the thought that I want to leave with you today is enter on human and go to business. Well, why do you say that? Because a lot of times, even with having something good to say, when you don't know the state of the other person, when you don't have discernment, you can turn a good thing into something bad. People don't want to know what you know until they know that you care. And sometimes we can bottle boggle people down with a lot of information, good information, but if they are not in the state of receiving, it's just bouncing off the wall. But Jesus, he entered on human breath, he knew she was a Samaritan and he was a Jew, and he knew that the Samaritans didn't have no dealings with the Jews, and so did she know that. But that wasn't the point. We didn't come together because we was going against each other's nation, where we come from. Jesus had something in mind, and when I think about how he handled it, it's just like fishing. Fishing is an art. And you have to have bait, you have to have worms, you have to bait the fish, and then you start reeling in. The Bible says to be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove. He that winning souls is wise, and so when you're um witnessing, when you're trying to engage or get people's attention or get them involved in something, you have to have a plan. You have to be strategic, purposeful, and intentional. So you just don't jump out the fire into the pan. You must be wise at what you do. Wise as a serpent and harmless of it as a dove. He asked her for some water, and she told him, You you don't even have no cup to get no water with. That was the bait. He was baiting her. He knew that he couldn't get no water out of that well without a container, a pitcher, a bucket, or something, but he was not talking about that well. He told her, if you knew who I was and you asked me, I would have given you the living water, and that's what Jesus' main purpose was in talking to this woman was to give her information about the living water, which is the spirit of God. He was God in the flesh, he was the very express image of his father. That was the whole embodiment, but he went in and her on something natural, find something relatable, find something attractive that you would get people's attention with. In on human, go to business and then finish on human. She said, I don't have a husband. He told her, You did you say right because you have had fire, and the one you are with now is not your husband. She then told him, I perceive that you are a prophet because you have to know the art of fishing, you have to be enticing, you have to be relatable, you have to be able to get people's attention before you can dump on them or give them what you're trying to give them. They don't want to know what you know. A bunch of information helps nobody because you can be pouring into an empty vessel, you can be pouring in the into a bucket that have holes in it, and so you we have to learn not to be anxious about anything because um we can waste a lot of good things, good information, good knowledge if we're so um head strong, if we are so determined, but we don't have any discernment. You can mess up good people and you can send them into a whole nother area that they don't need to be in at that moment. When God wanted to get Moses' attention, He got something, He did something that would make him turn around and pay attention. The burning bush, well, it wasn't um strange that you were see that they saw burn a bush burning in the wilderness because it's dry, very dry. The thing with this bush, it was not being consumed, it wasn't just catching up via it on fire, and burning up everything. This bush was not burning. So he had to do something different to get Moses' attention. And we a lot of times have to think out of the box, push the envelope, go beyond our borders, get off the banks. In order to win souls, we have to come out of our comfort zone and do something different. You have to um be able to grab people to um and hook them. It's no good when throwing out information and it doesn't grab anybody. The burning bush grabbed Moses. When Moses turned aside, then God was able to speak to him. So writing says, Speak to my heart, Holy Spirit, give me the words that will bring new life. And so when he Jesus talked to the woman at the well, first he entered on human with asking for some water, and then the next thing was he asked her to go get her husband. We must be relatable, we must know how to fish. Jesus told Peter, follow me, and I'm gonna make you fishers of men, but a lot of times, even when preaching, the disciples wanted Jesus to send the people away because of the lateness of the hour. It was no storage around, it was no acne, no giant, no shot right. But Jesus said, sit them down, and what y'all got in your midst, so we know that when something is good, you'll wind up saying, you'll wind up uh missing the store closing, time will get away from you, but we must have things prepared for those times because those times do not come often. Even when Paul was preaching, and that man was sitting in the windowsill listening to him. Look at where he was sitting at, but Paul had his attention. The man fell off the windowsill, Paul kept on preaching, went down, laid hands on him, healed him, and got him um back to life. The thing of it is today, we have to grab the attention, we have to grab, uh, make people come to a standstill, come to attention, give them something they ain't heard before or do something different than they haven't seen before. Because I said to keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result is the lunacy, is it's insanity. God is for is a progressive guy. He said, Behold, I do a new thing, and before it springs forward, I will tell you about it. God is doing new things. There's no stand still in creation. God is a progressive guy, he's still doing what only God can do. But he said to us, inner on human, let people know you've been there, you feel them, but don't leave them there. Get them, get them out. Inner on human, go to business. I want you to know I'm human too. And Jesus was human and divine. We don't have a high priest who can't be touched by the feelings of our infirmities. I want you to know that we're human. We bleed like you bleed, we hurt like you hurt, but after that, go to business, get your brother and your sister up from there. Intrigue their minds, serve their mind, serve their pure mind. Ask God to lead and guide you. Word your mouth that you may have something to give to them. God said he will send a word in due season, he'll sent a word just to heal. So we have a job to do. We can't throw it up against the wall and hope that it sick. We can't do like the next person or the one that's over the fence doing. God has a specific word for you, one for your condition, one that will get you up out of your sick bed or whatever bed you have laid for yourself, whether it's a physical um illness, mental, whatever the case may be, God has an answer. Because Jesus is the answer for the world today, and above him, there is no other. Jesus is the way. Either on human, go to business, and finish your human. Because when you finish your human, you're gonna let people know the power wants to put you back together again. This is healing stream waters, daily doses. God loves you. I love you, and there's nothing you can do about it.
