Good afternoon and welcome to Healing Stream Waters Daily Dosage. It's good for us to be here, still be in the land of the living. God touched us this morning and enabled us to rise up and see another day. I'm going to be reading today in your hearing first John the fifth chapter, the 10th through the 15th verse. Is anybody excited about Jesus? I am. Because in Jesus is everything that we need. When Isaiah prophesied about him long before he came, and he said his name will be called Emmanuel, which meant God is with us. He said his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Prince of Peace, everlasting Father. Have you had to use any of those titles? He's his name. When Moses was uh on the back side of the desert and God revealed himself to him, he told Moses, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob knew me as God Almighty, but you are going to know me as I am that I am. And for Moses, he was the frog, he was the locusts, he was the blood in the water, he was the darkness, wherever he needed him to be, he was at that time, he was back for Moses against Egypt, and he's the same God yesterday, today, and forevermore. In Christ Jesus, there is life, there is hope, and there is peace. So the 10th verse says, He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself. He who does not believe God has made him a liar because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of his son. And this is the testimony that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his son. So when you have Jesus, you have eternal life, because that's what he died for, to redeem us back to the life that we had lost in Genesis, because of sin and transgressions, we were severed. But that was to the first man Adam. But the last man Adam, which is Jesus, he restored, he redeemed us back to that place. I'm glad about it. I wonder, are you? He who has the son has life. He who does not have the son of God does not have life. These things have I written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God, Jesus. Now, this is a confidence that we have in him. That if we have that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And we know that he hears us wherever we ask. We know that we have the pretensions that we have asked of him. And the topic that I want to leave with you today is we have this confidence. So we all know and we speak of sometimes that the devil comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy. He's going about seeking whom he may devour because that's just his job. The devil has been somewhere we haven't been yet. He was in heaven, but he got kicked out, and so he's trying to gather up all that he can with him to miss out. Because there's definitely two kinds of eternal life. You could be eternal damnation, or you could be eternal life which goes in the presence of God. And so in the Garden of Eden, when he tricked Eve, and we were severed. Well, he he tricked Eve, she gave the fruit to Adam, and Adam ate. But the commandment was given to Adam. So although we were deceived, the commandment was given to the man, it was given to Adam, the first man. And so there had to be a not a second, a last. And Jesus was that last man, Adam. He took away the first so he can replace it with the last. In Adam, we lost out, but in the last man, Adam, we was restored, and we have this witness within us. If we believe God, we have a witness down in our soul. You hear the the old church, old folks say how they felt down in their sanctified soul. It was a change. You knew something happened. You don't walk the way you used to walk, not literally, but we don't carry ourselves the way we used to carry. We don't see see the things that we used to say. Maybe some of us was cousins like the sailor. But now that Jesus is involved in our life and has made us a new man, our words are seasoned with salt. And we have this confidence that when we pray, since we have been born again, since we have the new nature, since we have the mind of Christ, since we have the character of Christ, since we embody him, because if any man be in Christ, he is present right now, a new creature. All things are passed away, and behold, all things are become new. We know the minute we accept him, our spirit man is renewed, is restored. We got some work to do on this flesh, yes, we got some work to do on our soul and work to do on our bodies, but our spirit man was it was an immediate change because the minute that we understood, the minute that we believed, the minute that we repented, the minute that we were baptized and received Christ, our spiritual man was changed. He said, Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. And the only way we can renew our minds is in the word of God. And so the word of God in his precepts, in his ordinance, in his uh commandments of what we should do and should not do. So when we begin to know God, to learn of God, he says, seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these other things will be added. So before we get into the other things, before we get into the material things, let us seek the righteousness of God. Because righteousness means that which is in right standing with God. That's where our confidence comes from. We know we have this confidence that when we pray, why? Because we're gonna pray what God wants, we're gonna pray the will of God, and when we pray the will of God, he's going to answer. He marriage is his first institution. God loves family. He told us not to not to be jealous, not to be envious, not to have any other God before him. Do not kill, do not steal, do not lie. Those are part of the commandments of God. But in the New Testament, well, we know the ten commandments were given to Moses, and then they added like 900 more. But in the New Testament, Jesus said there are two, everything, all the law, all the prophet, hangs on these two commandments, and that's love your Lord your God with all your soul, with all your might. And the second one is just as important and equal to love your neighbor as I have loved you. And when we do those things, when we seek God's righteousness, we're not going to pray out of his will, and we have this confidence that when we pray in his will, guess what? He's going to answer healing is a children's bread. So if you're praying for healing, whether it's for yourself or whether it's for others, that is the will of God because healing is a children's bread. He healed all manner of sickness and disease. He's Jehovah Rapha, God, our healer. It's nothing that God can't handle, it's nothing that he doesn't know about, but we must come to him, we must believe in him as many a times and an occasion when he asks people, Do you want to be made whole? or whatever it was, it was according to your faith. Be it done unto you. If you can have faith to receive it, my God, you can receive it. Have faith to believe it. I mean, he said, While we stand and praying, if we believe that which we are praying, we shall receive it. So that's where your confidence comes from. If you believe, and not only is he the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, can you bring it even closer? Can you bring it further down the line? Is he your God? I know he was my mother's God, and I know he was my father's God, but guess what? He's my God too. And I have this confidence that when I pray, because I'm not going to pray selfish, I'm not going to pray out of his will. I'm going to pray the things that God wants for not only for myself, but for his people. God has an answer, a prescription for everything that you're going through in life. Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. We don't know how to pray as we ought, but the spirit who knows the mind of God will make incession according to the will of God. Why does the spirit know the mind of God? Because the spirit is one with God. God and his spirit is one. Be encouraged today. Up, lift up your head, oh ye gates, and be ye lifted up, ye everlasting door. And the king of glory shall come in. Who is this king of glory? The Lord God strong and mighty, the Lord God mighty and batter. He is the King of glory. He is your I am that you that he is. Whatever you need him to be, that he will be for you. So have confidence. He said, ask everyone that answers, they receive. If you seek, you will find. If you knock on that door, that door is going to be open unto you. But do not ask without faith, because without faith, it's impossible to please God. For we that come to God must believe first that He is God and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Have faith today, have confidence. Put your trust in God. He never fails. He's not slack concerning his promises. His promises are yea, an amen. He is his word. His word is light and his word is spirit. His word will go out. It will not return unto him glory or in thee. It will accomplish and prosper in the thing that he sent it to. Lift up your head. Be confident. Be encouraged. Be inspired. Because God would do just what he said he would do. He's still doing what only God can do. Again, this is your daily dosage from healing stream waters. Be encouraged. God loves you, and so do I. And there's nothing, absolutely, positively, nothing that you can do about it.
