Your Metamorphosis

Good afternoon and welcome to Healing Stream Waters Daily Doses. I have another dose for you today. God is good all the time, and all the time, God is good. I have just one verse that I want to speak from today, and that's Romans the 12th chapter in the second verse. And it says, Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. And the topic that I want to share with you on this afternoon is your metamorphosis. And so the picture that I want to paint today is a childhood story called The Ugly Duckling. And if you know of the story, you know that this mother she hatched eggs, but it was one egg when it was cracked that stood out. And you know why it stood out? Because you got it, it was very ugly, it was different, it was unique, it was of another kind, it wasn't the kind that was used to in the pond, and so this ugly ducklings ram around, but these other ducks nobody would pay attention, it was not included, it did not belong, it was another species, and that's what being a new creature in Christ is another species. If any man be in Christ, he is a new species, a new creature, all things are passed away, and behold, all things are become new. And this ugly duckling was left alone on a many of occasions because it didn't look like it didn't sound like it wasn't with the crowd, it was ostracized. But I want to share today about the power of process. You don't look like what you're going to become. The Bible says, Behold, we are the sons of God, even though it does not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when he appears, that we're going to be just like our Maker. Why? Because in the book of Genesis, when he came together with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, because they were the same in the beginning, all three were one. They were his partners, they was his uh companions, they were uh his company to which he discussed things with, because he said, Let us make man. If it wasn't more than one, he would say, Let me make man, but it was a meeting about us. Let us make man in our image and in our likeness, and so he created us. Getting back to the ugly duckling, um, it was a species of another kind, and so just like us, the Bible says, be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed, be ye changed by the renewing of your mind. Things that are spiritually discerned, the natural man cannot comprehend. We are in this world, but we're not of this world. Our kingdom is not of this world. If ye be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above and not down here on this earth, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God, and set your affection on things above and not on these things on this earth, where your life is here with Christ, we're partners with Christ in God. So, this ugly duckling, the power of process, kept on going, kept on going. Be not weary and well doing, because in due season you will reap if you faint not. Methods are many, principles are few. Methods, the way we do things, they will change, but principles never do. What God said from the beginning, he's still saying now, and he requires that. He said, Love God, have no other idols, love your brothers and sisters, whatever his commandments was back then, he still requires them today. We have commandments as husbands, we have commandments as wives, we can have commandments as children, we have commandments of leaders in the church, leaders in the um in the secular world. Principle, principle, they don't change, and principles won't work in any gyre. You must have integrity, you must have uh character and good morals. So this ugly duckling had to settle in her mind that I'm different, I'm unique, I'm called to be what I am, but as the process went on, that ugly duckling turned into a beautiful swine, and God can do, will do the same thing for you and I. It doesn't matter what our lives have been, what we have experienced, things will transform us and deform us, but God got the power of transformation in his blood because he has the power of resurrection. Be not weary and well doing, because in due season you're gonna reap if you don't faint. Transformation change is necessary, it's imperative, and we are to show forth the praises of God. We are living epistles to be looked upon and read by man. We have to represent, we have to walk in the spirit, and we won't fulfill the lust of the flesh. We will, Paul said, When I came to you, I didn't come to you in excellency of speech, determining to know our Lord. But I came in spirit and I came in demonstration. You got to show some sign. Signs and wonders will follow them that believe. In my name, you'll drink deadly poison. In my name, you're gonna take up servants. Paul shook it off because if you in Christ Jesus, you got the power to shake some things off, your experiences, your trauma, whatever it may be, if you can grab hold to the power of God, belief in the presence of God, you can shake things off. He said, If you abide in me and my words abide in you, you can ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you. The power of process, the power of uh transformation. You have need, I have need of patience that after I have done the will of God, I may be able to obtain the promise. Delay does not mean denied, and not now does not mean never. It's an appointed time for everything to come together. Are you prepared? Are you ready for that thing that you ask God for? For God is a prayer hearer and an answer to God, and he's able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that you can ask or think, but it's according to the power that work in you. Transformation is necessary if you're going to go the way of the Lord. We must turn into the image of his dear son Jesus Christ. Thank God for his blood, thank God for his resurrection power. Thank God for the Holy Ghost that he left down here for us. As my mother used to tell us, he was God in creation, he was son in redemption, but he's the Holy Ghost in the church. He hasn't lost his power, his blood still works, everything about God still works. What he does, it is forever. The blessings of the Lord make us rich and addeth no sorrow to it. So come on, my sister, come on, my brother, my fellow believers in Christ. God is still doing only what God does. Transformation, be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. You can have your own metaphoris. You can turn from the ugly duckling to a beautiful swine, a cut from another cloth, a level above the rest. You can do it because God says so. You'll be the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath, a lender and not the borrower. He'll bless your basket, he'll bless your store, he'll bless you in the city and out of the city. It's his will that we prosper, but it's only after we meditate on his word and observe to do what he has asked us to do. I thank God for this daily dose from the Lord. Because guess what? The husband must be first partaker, it hits you first before you can give it. And I thank God that uh I'm getting it. I haven't arrived, but I'm getting it, and I'm starting to live life, the life that God ordained for me. Yes, the devil comes to steal, kill, and to destroy. But Christ came that we may have life and that we may have that life more abundantly. You can have your own metamorphosis, you can change it. This is healing string water, daily dosage. Go with God, have the peace of God. You can only have the peace of God if you're in God. He loves you, I love you, and there's no thing that you can do about it. Stay in it, stay with it, don't go on a towel because he declares the end from the beginning. He knows just that. He's writing your story, he knows the character, he knows your detours, and he knows your delays. It's all in his hand. He has the whole world in his hand. You and me, brother, in his hand, the little bitty babies in his hand. Go in peace and God be with you. I love you. Nothing you can do about it.
