That I May Know Him

Good morning. Good afternoon. It's morning somewhere in the world. Welcome to Healing Stream Waters Daily Dosage. I'm glad to be here and be in the land of the living. The songwriter says, My hallelujah belongs to you. You deserve it. Yes, you do, God. And so what I want to share with you today, um, out of two passages of scripture that are not long, the first coming from Isaiah, first chapter, and I'm gonna start at the second, it's not at the third. Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth. For the Lord has spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me. The ox knows its owner, and the donkey is master's crib, but Israel does not know. My people do not consider, and then the second passage, hold on a minute, it's gonna be from Philippians. I can just quote that because I lost my space at the moment, but it's saying where Paul said, Oh, that I may know you in the fellowship of your sufferings, and so that's part of my topic that I may know you. God is talking to Israel, and he states that the ox know its master, the donkey know it's master cred, but Israel does not know, and neither is not even on Israel's mind. Israel doesn't take anything into consideration, and when I think of this, my heart really feels some type of way because how many of you love something or someone? You give your all, he said. I brought them up out of Egypt, I nourished them, I brought them through, I took care of them, and then they turn around and act like they don't know Israel as the church is God's firstborn, and so to love someone, you have to know it. And knowing it's just not um you can introduce people to someone, you can make mentions, but to know that's intimate. God's ways they are past finding out. You're not gonna know everything there is to know about God because there's no standstill in creation, he's a progressive guy, and you're we are not gonna put him in a box, and so but you would think even if you don't know me at a deeper or certain level, some things you would just consider because it's the goodness of the Lord that brings about repentance. I don't know how many of you are parents, but can you imagine? And I know some people do go through it, all you do for your children, and it's never enough. Out of all God does for us, we still don't trust him enough. He gave his only begotten son, and if he gave that the very precious thing, will he withhold anything else from us? He gave his all, he gave his best, but the words say the ox no and the donkey no, but my prize possession, my people, my children, they don't, and they don't even consider God tells us I will be your God and you will be my people, I'll be your father, and you will be my sons and daughters. So when Paul talks about this in Philippians, the old that I may know him, he was an apostle that didn't walk with the original twelve, he was one that was born out of due season, so he didn't have the privilege of walking this earth with Jesus. But Paul states that when it pleased God, who cut the um biblical cord and separated me from my mother's spoon, to please to uh show himself to him, reveal himself to him, that's why he didn't go to man. He was one born out of due season, and so his training was different. He was a chief apostle, and so some of the times, a lot of the time, when you have a call, man can't teach you everything about your call. You make him pattern after some things according to the flesh, but my God, only the spirit, who knows the spirit, can teach you the things that are of God, because God's ways are not our ways, and neither are his thoughts our thoughts. As far as the east is from the west, and the north is from the south, the heavens is far um the distance from the earth. That's how great of a separation God and man. Because the things that man do, God don't feel that way. You love who you want to love, you forgive who you want to forgive. God tells us to forgive 70 times seven. Oh, how much time are we supposed to forgive? As often as people ask you to forgive them and come to you, you are supposed to forgive them, but man doesn't feel that way. God felt that way, God walked that way, God talked that way. He said, if you don't forgive those that trespass against you, your heavenly father will not forgive the trespasses that you did. Because we, as human beings, just like the woman caught in adultery, the very act, they wanted to stone her. But Jesus said, You that are without sin, you cast the first stone. How can I hold something against you where I got something that is in my life that God could hold against me if he wanted to? But on Calvary, as O'Neil Twins of Gospel Group saying, on Calvary, he dropped the charges, he said, case this miss. I knew you weren't sinner, I know you're free, I know what you were made of, and I know you couldn't help yourself. That's why I came down, and as he done for me, I ought to do for my neighbor in this life. We're gonna be abused, we're gonna be persecuted, we're gonna be misused, but it's nothing, as the Romans 8 says, What would you let separate you from the love of God? My dad used to tell us all the time, but this thing is for believers, because if you don't believe the way the doctrine and teaching of Jesus Christ, you're not going to behave or adhere to. I admit, and the Bible isn't even talk to talk to this when the 70 of his disciples walked away and left him because they said this is a hard gospel. Who can keep up with it? It's an acquired taste, it's not built for the faint. And Gideon Day, you that you that are scary, whatever excuse you got, go on back because it's not for the faint of heart. You need to be at some time or another to suck it up, straighten your uh push your chest up out, straighten your shoulders, make sure your back is straight, and keep on going. Yes, we will have battle scars to show. Even Jesus had proof in his body what they did to him, they pierced him in his side, they they nailed his hands, he got the scars, and sometimes we're gonna have scars to show. But the thing about it, you can see signs of the bruising, but the pain is gone. Because when he forgave us, when he got the keys of death, hell in the grave, he took away the same, he took away the chain that no longer I'm the same. He gave me a garment of praise that I can praise his name in the beauty of holiness. It's not that we sacking ourselves out. They did, she did do what they said she did. I was guilty of all the charges during this race. But Jesus was precious love, save me by his grace. You're gonna have stories, you're gonna have testimony, they're gonna be some eyewitnesses of your past, but guess what? No one can condemn you. The Bible says there is no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit. If someone puts their trash out on trash day and you pick it up and rummage through their trash, whatever you find, you got finders, keepers, because Jesus cast our sins into the sea of forgetfulness to be remembered no more. And I admit and I know that we have some deep sea divers like Satan, he's always going about seeking whom he may desire, even when the Son of Man went to praise God. Satan came to he's uh uh an accuser of the brethren. So if someone is constantly accusing you, if someone is constantly breaking up your path, then we know that they are not of God because God doesn't accuse you if anything, he saves you. He said he came not into this world to condemn, but that the world through him might be saved, and he did it for all eternity. So there's people that are not even born yet, but God saved them, they are saved. He said, even if we do sin, we have an advocate. It was Christ that died, it was Christ that bled, it was Christ that hung on the cross on the third day. He got up. So, my brothers and my sisters, get to know your God, get to know why, what was the cause of him coming to earth? Paul said, Oh, that I may know him, and he revealed himself to Paul when it pleased him. So at the appointed time, and when you are ready, and when God's ready for you, he will reveal himself to you. He don't deal with everybody the same way, so you can't look over the fence, you can't pattern after you are unique, you are wonderfully made by God, and he didn't create no two people alike, he deals with us according to what we have, what he has to deal with, and who you have to reach, because people are assigned to your voice. I can't do what you do, and you can't do what I do, I can't reach the people in your circle, and you can't reach the ones in my circle. So let's get to know God just because somebody introduced and you make mention of the name, but you have to be in the name, you have to be in Christ Jesus, you have to have his spirit and his DNA, you have to be born again, you have to be one of his children. If any man be in Christ, he's a new creature, but if any man has not the spirit of Christ, he said, You're none of his. He knows them are that are his, his sheep know his voice, and a stranger they will not follow. And he has us in his hand, and nobody can pluck us out of his hand. Thank God for being in his hand, thank God for his protection, for being covered under his wings. Get to know your God because that's the best thing that you can do. The songwriter says, if anyone should ever write my life story for whatever reason there might be, please let them know that Jesus is, was, is, was, is the best thing that ever happened to me. David said, Well, my mother and my father forsake me, then the Lord will take me up. Israel Harton sing a song. I am a friend of God, he calls me friend. The servants don't know what the master does, but a friend, he tells you what he's about to do before he does it. Behold, I do a new thing, and before it springs forth, I tell you about it. I thank God for him not keeping me in the dark that he manifests and shows me, he gives me the answers before the test. When he was going to destroy Sodom and Kamaro, they asked amongst themselves, Shall we not tell Abraham what we are about to do? He did, he told Abraham, and Abraham was able to plead for the city. If I find if you find ten righteous, will you spare it? If I find five righteous, will I spirit? Will you spare land? You can be an intercessor, you can stand in the gap for others when you know the will of the of the father. So pray for one another, encourage one another, teach one another. This scene is um, we catch on when we share the goodness of our Lord. Don't keep it to yourself. As he told Esther, uh, if you remain silent at this time, when I come to deliver, uh, your household, your father's household will not be saved. You know what's coming, and you know what needs to be done, and you that know the do and don't do, to you it is a sin. Everything that's not of faith is sin. So, people of God, grab hold of faith, but know that faith without works is dead. That's the only way to please God. We that come to God must believe that God is and that He is He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Again, this is healing stream waters, daily dose. Get to know Him. Oh, that I may know Him. I want to know Him in the fellowship. I want to be I'm I want to be comrades. I I want to know you. I want to know you. God loves you, I love you, and there's nothing you can do about it.
