Good afternoon and welcome to Healing Stream Waters Daily Doses. Thanking God for another day that He has allowed another opportunity to let our golden moments roll on a little while longer. I'm going to be sharing with you today another dosage from Ecclesiastes, the 12th chapter. And I'm going to do uh three verses out of it, starting with the first verse. Remember now thy creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them. And then dropping down to the thirteenth and fourteenth verse, let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment with every secret thing, whether it be good or whether it be evil. And so the thing that I want to leave with you today is hear the conclusion of the whole matter. And so sometimes in life, uh, well, we know this first verse is well, the whole chapter is written back in the Old Testament years ago. And it was stating that um remember thy creator in the days of thy youth, because it's coming in time with the things and the pleasures and the things that we like while we were younger. When you get older, those things will no longer be of importance, be of any matter to you, and you don't get uh a satisfaction or contentment of with what you once did. And so Solomon is telling them, and you can read the whole chapter. Remember God, remember God why you got your strength, remember God where you're when you're useful and you're gung-ho, you're passionate, you're zealous. Remember the creator now because it's it'll come a time when you get older, and sometimes you don't even have to make it to get an older before things of life take over. Sometimes you can have dementia, something happened to you when you lose your faculty of thinking, you can become disabled, or whatever the case may be, nothing is promised. Your life is like a vapor. But the Bible says to hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Because sometimes we paint pictures and we um we give an example of life. It's about material things, is it's about uh what's the biggest house you can have with the picket fence and uh the rich family. None of that matters when it comes to life because life is not promised. Today is not promised to you. You can be here today. We used to say gone tomorrow, but it's a thing now where you're here today and gone today. So while you're in your best of health, while you're in your best of um your mind thinking, remember thy creator, remember the one that created you, that gave you your life, that gave your health, your strength, the activities of your limbs. Because we're certainly living in the last days, and things are wrapping, and the enemy is is hiking up his stance in the world because he knows his time is not long, and he was kicked out of heaven, and he wants you not to make it to heaven. So why you have your mind, a sound mind, and why you're able to do things on your own without being coerced or uh mandated or pressured, why you're of sound mind, remember thy creator, because it's gonna come in time where things that you enjoy no longer meets the need. The Bible says hear the conclusion of the whole matter because sometimes we paint a picture, the life is just walking through the meadows, skipping, and but it's not like that. Life comes with trials, it has its good days, yes, but it has also a lot of bad days. You want to have trials, you're gonna have tribulations. So if you establish a uh relationship with the Father and with people around you when those days do come and which they will come, then the relationship that you have binded and secured and uh strengthened, they will be of an encouragement to you when you're going through. Hear the conclusion. Nothing is as it seemed, it's not as you suppose. It's no um, no um no plan, no paper, no nothing that's saying that everything you do is going to be successful, everything you do, you're not gonna have any um repercussion, no adversity. Life is to be lived, the sunshine is needed as well as the rain. Both of those things are needed for you to grow. But if you have the law on your side, if you have good morals, if you have good standards, because we can't violate principle and get to promise. We have to live a life that's pleasing to our Father. Whether you are um a believer or not, God's word is God's word, his word is forever settled in the heaven. Heaven and earth will pass away, but his word will stand. Love is the greatest commandment of all. The scripture tells us the the whole duty of man is to love God and keep his commandments, and his commandments is whatever he tells you to do, so you don't have to worry about getting it from a second source or getting um, as they say, secondhand smoke. You can go to the father himself, and he will oblige you, he will tell you just what it is that you need to do to inherit eternal life, not only internal life, but how to live a peaceful life while we are here on this earth. We are spiritual beings having an earthly experience. He said his kingdom is not of this world, and neither are we. We are sojourners, we are pilgrims just passing through. So remember your creator. In him we live, we move and have our very being, and anything that you want to know about anything, God is the one to seek. He says, Seek ye first the kingdom of heaven, and my righteousness, and all these other things will be added. We don't have to figure anything out because while we're trying that, he's already worked it out. He's Alpha and Omega, the beginning, and the end, the first and last, and then he's everything in between. Before you get there, he's already been there, he's already prepared a way for you. He knows your next step, he knows the next breath you're going to take. He's omnipresent, he's everywhere at the same time, he's omniscious, he knows all, he hears all, he knows, he know, he knows how to work it out. He can you can depend on God for any and everything. It's nothing here to him. He created uh light, he created darkness, he created all those things, and the Bible says that he's gonna bring everything into judgment, even the your hidden secrets that you think is hidden, that you think is behind closed doors. He even knows the intents of your heart, he knows your words, even while they're yet on your tongue before you even speak it. He knows your thoughts, he knows everything about everything. But remember your creator while you still have some sort of energy, some sort of passion, some sort of sound mind, because the Lord didn't give us the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. I tell you, hear the words of the Lord, which he has to say to you in your darkest hour, in your lowest place, God can resurrect you from wherever you are. Remember your creator.
