Today, I had the privilege of speaking with Jessica Flores and hearing her incredible story. Jessica’s journey is nothing short of remarkable. She spent many years in a life of stripping, prostitution, and even pimping. Along the way, she faced numerous close calls with death. Time and again, the Lord spared her life. Then, one day, Jessica reached a breaking point. In desperation, she called out to the Lord and that moment marked the beginning of a radical transformation in her life. This is a testimony you will want to hear in its entirety, as it’s a powerful reminder of God’s redeeming love and grace.

Since then, my life has never been the same since that moment. I ran out of that room. I I felt like like I could see now before I was like in such a dark like cloud, like my eyes were like blind that I couldn't see, and all of a sudden I like woke up and I could like see what was happening, like what I was doing, like gotta remove the scales from my eyes, and I was able to see what was happening. And after that, I remember that I stopped prostituting. I changed my phone number, I deleted all my contacts, I deleted it all. I used to see a lot of wealthy men that would give me a lot of money, but I didn't even care about the money anymore. And after that, I quit pimping because I did lead a lot of girls into sin.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, so we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the power of our testimony. May we not love our old lives until death, and I'm here to testify the goodness of the Lord because I once was blind in my sin, and now I see. Thank you, Jesus, for saving a wretch like me. I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, coming from a family that showed no love. I grew up with a mother that was very uh physically and mentally verbally abusive. And at that time, she was diagnosed with like manic bipolar, but I had no idea like what that meant growing up. I just was growing up with like a very abusive mother. And meanwhile, while I was growing up in her home, my grandfather is the one that planted the seed in us. My grandfather was the one that was like, everybody come over to the house on Sunday, we're all gonna go to church. And he would pack up me and all my cousins, and he would put us in the car and take us to church every single Sunday. And so when I was going, when I was living back home with my mom, it was very abusive. Um she was always like hating me and beating me up every day, like a lot of verbally uh abusive. And I remember she had married this man. Like out of the blue one day, she's like, Oh, I'm getting married, and then like she brought this man over. So that man, he he like molested me and my sister for like several years, like more than it went on for like more than like five years. And then as time went on, I remember one day I had gotten a job and my mom, I guess, had sent him to go pick me up from work. So whenever he got to my job, he pulled up, I got into the car, and then like we were he picked me up. I thought we were going home, but then he started driving. He drove down to like this um this bar and he parked on the back of the bar, and then like he proceeded to start to crying, and then he was telling me that he had murdered somebody like in Watis. And then like he he was like crying, and then like he started to like put his his head on like my chest, and he was like crying, and then like all of a sudden, he like pulled out this knife on me, and he had like this knife to my neck, and like he tried to rape me, and I was like fighting him. I mean, I broke his glasses at one point, he had scratches on his face. I was trying to get in and out of the car. And I ended up outside of the car. He took off, and I guess he went home. I was able to call my grandmother. They went to go pick me up, and my grandmother took me to my house, to my mom's house. And then um, my mom automatically came out screaming out of the house, like, you tried to ruin my marriage. And like, I guess I don't know what he had gone and told her, but he she was accusing me of ruining her marriage, and she's like, get out of my house, get out. So I literally walked out of her yard and I'm walking, like I literally walked with like nothing on my back, like I had nothing with me. And I just like left. I was like, Oh my goodness, like what am what am I gonna do? And like I ended up calling one of my friends, and she was like, Come over here and and and live with me. So, like, I went over there and I lived with her for a while, and then maybe about a month later, my uncle called me and was like, Why don't you come come live over here with me? So I went to go live with my aunts and my uncle, and I was living with them for a while, and then I got this um side job. It was working in a bar. I was a bartender, and then I was working in the in the bar scene, and then that's when I met the father of my child, my first daughter. I mean, at this point I had no clue who this man was, but I, you know, started running with him, running in the streets with him, and then like I found myself to like at one point I was in Wadis, like I was across the border. They loaded up my car with like drugs, and then like I drove my car back across the the border. And at that time I didn't know, but he was he was on America's Most Wanted, and he was one of the he's the top founder of one of the most notorious gangs in Detroit, Michigan. And so I lived that life with him for like a couple of years. And then after that, um, I was pregnant with my daughter, my oldest daughter, and then I was, you know, the the guy that I had met, the father of my daughter, he was he lived in Detroit, Michigan. He would just come to Texas to like do the drug deals and then and then go back to Detroit. So like at that time we had already kind of like separated because he wasn't like coming back over here as often. And then when I was pregnant with my daughter, that's when I met the father of my second daughter. And he was an older man. I was maybe 20 and he was 40, so he's 20 years older than me. And I was still working in the bars at that time, and I had just had my daughter, and he had mentioned to me, he said, Oh, why don't you go work in the strip clubs? And I'm like, Well, I don't even really know what that is, I've never been there before. He told me, he's like, Let's go get you some stuff. We went to go to the store to buy some stuff, and then he dropped me off at the club, and then he said, I'll be back for you at 2 a.m. And then he he did go back and pick me up at 2 a.m. And I started dating him for a while. We did it for a long time, and he would always drop me off at the club, pick me up, and then like once I started um stripping or working in the strip club, I worked in the club for 16 years, and when I was going, when I was working in the club, it was a very dark, dark, dark, dark place. I have been through um sex trafficking, prostitution, even um pimping for a little bit. And because I would have a lot of clients that would ask me, Oh, do you have a friend? Do you have a girl? Do you have a girl? And I'm like, Yeah, I have a friend, but like you're gonna need to pay me for like setting you guys up. So that turned into like a whole business. But I remember, for instance, like one time one of my friends, she told me that she heard about this club that was in Key West, Florida, and that somebody told her that they made like $10,000 like in a weekend. So I was like, oh, let's go. We were like on the next flight, like out to Florida, like to go work over there. And once we arrived there, um, they threw us in this house and like all of us lived upstairs. We all lived upstairs and they threw us in this house and they locked us in there and we were being watched by cameras. Like at that point, I wasn't even sure if I was even gonna make it back home. Like they locked us in this house, and then like we would have to, you know, just like be dressed up every day. And then, like, when the guys would like go ring the doorbell at the house, we would go down, introduce ourselves, and then the guys would be like, Oh, I want her. So it so happens that they had picked me that time. And like, I guess the clients like they pay the club, and then like you go home with the with the clients, right? So I was like involved with that. Um, they would also send us into the streets, like literally, like something out of a movie. Like, we would have to go into the streets and like walk the streets to like kind of pick up clients and then take them back to that house. And like, I literally, like by the grace of God, like God has had so much mercy on me. He has saved me. And by the grace of God, I was able to make it out of that house and return back home to my children. I was in I worked at several clubs that had sex trafficking in in them. And you know, stripping, of course, it turns into to prostitution. And for instance, I remember one time me and my friend had left after work to go to, you know, to give our services to a client. And I remember we went there and we were there all night, all day till the next day. And then that night when the night came, we were like, Hey, where's our money? Like, we're tired, like we want to go home. This is, you know, like this is enough. And he's like, Okay, I'll go get your money. So, like, he went to go get the money, but instead of the money, he came back with a gun. He had like this big gun in his hands, and he like cocked it or something, and he's like, Get out of my house, get out of my house. Like, I'm not gonna pay you no money, I'm not gonna give you your money. And then, like, right away, me and my friend, we jumped up because we were scared. I mean, I didn't want to lose my life. So we we go outside, and then I get inside my Jeep, and he's in front in front of my Jeep with his gun and he's like cocking it or whatever, and then and then I I I was so mad that I didn't get my money that I had my hands on the steering wheel, I had my hands on the gas, like I was literally about to run him over because I was so mad at the money situation that we didn't get paid, and then all of a sudden my friend tapped my hand and was like, Your kids are at home waiting for you. And then right then, like something just something clicked to me, and I we just drove off. But I've been in many, many instances where guns have been held to my head, knives have been held to my to my head, my neck because they didn't want to pay us our money. Um, I remember one time I was I was probably prostituting for maybe about 12 years. And I remember one time me and my friend, she had brought her mom over to my house so her mom can watch her kids and my kids. So she dropped her mom and her and the kids off at my house. Me and her, I had a bottle of ornitos on my fridge. We grabbed the bottle of ornitos, and me and her left to work while her mom watched our children. And I remember I was sitting, we were in the club working, and I remember sitting on the bar, and all of a sudden I turned around and I looked at her and I saw these dark spirits flying around her. Like I screamed and I yelled so loud. I was and she's like, What's wrong? I was like, Oh, nothing, nothing. Like, I just I saw some like black spirits flying around. And then so me and her, we were like working all night together. We had drove together in the same car to go to work, and we had got into a little argument, and I remember right before the argument, she told me, she said that I've been praying to God that I'm gonna stop doing coke. I've been praying to God that I'm gonna stop drinking, but I I keep on promising him and it's not happening, it's not working. And me and her, we were working, and then we got into a little argument over something, and then she took off the club to go with the clients, you know, she took off the club to go be with him, and then I came home and I and I went to bed. And then in the morning, whenever I woke up, the police were at my door, and of course they were like, you know, may we speak to Jessica Flores because like I had left my my purse inside her car, and they were like, There has been a fatality. And I guess after she left, she left with that client and she was returning home. She crashed and she died two minutes away from the house. And I feel like God spared my life once again that I was not in that car with her when she had that car accident. And so I was continuing to like work in the club, work in the club very, very dark, depressed life, uh, drinking alcohol and smoking weed. I had started smoking weed when I was 13 years old when I lived at home with my mother. And I remember I was working in this one club, and there was this lady that would go in there, and her name was Roxanne, and Roxanne would she would take us out, she would take out about a handful of girls, she would pull us out of the strip club, and she would take us to church. And because of Roxanne, like she has a big part of who I am in Christ right now because she would go into the strip clubs and pull us out of there and take us to church, and she took us to this church, it was this little small church in a house, and there was a pastora. And I remember like one of the friends that I that went to church with us that day, she had met this guy and she got very strung out, like on meth, and she lost her husband, she had lost her kids, she lost her home, and she was on meth. And the pastora, I remember the pastora praying for her, and she fell out in the floor in the glory of the Lord, and that's the first time that I had ever seen like deliverance or anything like that happening. And I remember the pastora prayed over me, and she told me she told me, she said, You're on the wrong stage. She said, God wants you in the church stage singing, He wants to use you. And at that point, like I was so lost, and and I mean, after that, I continued to go to that church for like a year after that, but I continued to still work in the strip clubs. I ignored what the pastora told me. I was still working in the strip clubs, I was still running the streets, living the life, like trying to make all this um, you know, like money. I mean, as a single mom to provide for my kids. And during that time, also, I remember um I met my the father of my child number three. I have three kids and three different baby dads. All three of my baby dads, they're all drug dealers. I met him and I was in a very domestic abusive relationship with him for like over 10 years that I was with him, and I was just drinking, smoking weed in a very domestic violence um relationship. And I remember one day I was on my way to go make money in the streets in the hotel, and I remember I was in such a dark place, but I was so desperate. I was so desperate, I didn't even know who I was, like something very demonic had taken over me at that point. I didn't know who I was, like I was just in the streets, like every single day, like making money. And I remember I would come home crying to my oldest daughter, like my oldest daughter. I I I put her through so much. And I remember I was driving, I was driving, and I was I I live in the desert, so I rolled down all my windows, and I was so desperate at that point. I was desperate and I yelled. I was like, Jesus, Jesus, if you're real, show me, save me, save me, Jesus. And after that, I remember I continued to go to the to the hotel, and my friend was there, she was meeting me there. This was a girl that I kind of like ran the streets with. And we were in there in the hotel room, and I remember I literally had like a belt, like a belt tied around my neck. And that's when I felt the glory of the Lord. That's when I felt the glory of the Lord. That's the first time I ever felt the presence of God. And ever since then, my life has never been the same since that moment. Like after that moment, I ran out of there. I ran out of that room. I ran out of that room, and and I just after that, I I felt like like I could see, like I could see now. Before I was like in such this dark, like cloud, like my eyes were like blinded, I couldn't see, and all of a sudden I like woke up and I could like see what was happening, like what I was doing. Like God removed the scales from my eyes, and I was able to see what was happening. And after that, I remember that I stopped prostituting. I I deleted, I changed my phone number, I deleted all my contacts. I mean, I deleted it all. I used to see a lot of wealthy men that would give me a lot of money, but I didn't even care about the money anymore. I don't care about your money. I'm not going over there, I'm not doing that. I deleted my number. I mean, I deleted my contacts. I changed my phone number. And after that, I quit prostituting and pimping because I did lead a lot of girls into sin. I led a lot of girls into sin. But after that, I quit prostituting, but I was on fire for God. I was so on fire for God because I had this radical encounter with him that I was going into the strip clubs. Like I was still dancing at that time, but I was going into the strip clubs and I was preaching the gospel. I was telling them the girls, the girls that I had led into sin, I was telling them about Jesus. I was telling the guys, the clients about Jesus. I'm like, y'all came in here to see girls, but you didn't know you were gonna come in here with to hear the word of God. Like I was in there praying for people. People were giving their lives to Jesus in the strip club. And I continued that for like about four years. And then um, I remember, um, excuse me, I remember COVID. COVID had hit and we were like stuck at home. And I started, we were stuck at home and we couldn't do anything, right? So, like, well, right before that, like right before COVID hit, I had joined this church and it was a church plant, and I was planting the church and I was helping them build the church from the ground up. And I remember I had asked them to serve, and they told me that I was not allowed to serve in their church because of where I worked at, and because of that I was not what they were looking for in that church. So I was kind of hurt, you know, because I was on fire for God. Like I just had this radical encounter with God, like I'm in fire for him. And and they were like, no, sit down, sit down. Like, you can't do nothing around here because, you know, where you work at, and because. And so I I kind of had like church hurt. And I remember COVID hit like literally like the next day. And then I got online and I was like scrolling through Facebook, and then all of a sudden, this pastor came out, Pastor Mike Signorelli. He came out. he was like man's rejection is god's redirection and at that point like i literally thought that that word was for me i had just been rejected from that church and and then i hear this pastor preaching about like god man's rejection is god's redirection and i was so desperate i was i mean i was in the chats and i was like oh my goodness i was like i just i just gave my life to christ like i just came out of this horrible lifestyle of prostitution and and being a stripper and then for some uh reason the pastor saw my message and was like whoa look at look at this girl here testifying and and after that i remember i joined the church i've been a part of that church for three years now praise god i was i even joined the v1 church um i graduated from their bible college and so meanwhile during during covet when covet hit and we were forced to stay at home i started looking i started cleaning out my house cleaning out everything because there was really nothing else to do and then like once I got came upon my jewelry box and like my box where I had all my money in it I realized that it was all gone like somebody that was pretty sure lived with me I had a couple people living with me at that time my jewelry like all my jewelry like $30,000 worth of jewelry $30,000 worth of money gone wiped out and it's like the devil comes so fast like I ran the streets for like years years and and you know like did a lot of bad things for that money for that jewelry and it's gone from you like it's gone from you in like a quick of like an instant like it could be taken from you so like I I noticed that you know of course like running the streets and all that like it's not worth money it's not worth materialistic things like it is not worth it and also during that time also um one of my friends from the club she had gone missing for like about about two weeks and they ended up finding her body in the in the desert you know she had left with the clients and and he killed her and murdered her it's just such a sad sad situation and praise god like God had really used v1 church to to reach me to reach me so praise god um that that's where I'm at with my journey right now with God. So what was it like when you got baptized okay so during COVID the my pastor from v1 church pastor Mike Signorelli he was he did it he made a Jesus movement and he said anybody that wants to get baptized meet me in the ocean in California and he was from New York City so he flew to California I threw my kids in the car I threw their friends in the car I threw some of my friends in the car I rented a the big van we all got into the van and we drove to California to get baptized so once I got baptized my life was never the same after that praise God blessed me with my own business and because I was renewed in Christ led by the Holy Spirit my business name is renewed you and God had blessed me with my own business. So I'm just here to tell you that you don't need to be running the streets um sex trafficking prostitution you don't need to do all that you think that money that you're making that little money that you're making is a lot of money that is a not a lot of money God wants to bless you abundantly more than you can ever ask think or even imagine according to his riches and glory you do not need to go live that life to make money that's a lie. I thank God that I made it out of there with no AIDS with no HIV I do have friends that have AIDS that have HIV. I do have friends that have that and I praise God that I made it out of there alive. I praise God that I made it out of there with no disease and Jesus loves you so much he died on the cross for you whatever it is that you are going through you lay it all out at the foot of the cross call upon the name and call upon the name of the Lord and you will be saved in Jesus' mighty name what has um God done in your life now that you've changed and what I mean what is the most uh important thing I suppose that you've noticed or the biggest blessing well praise god I I actually God has even restored my relationship with my daughter my 21 year old because when I was living that in the life I told my daughter please forgive me daughter I was not saved at that point I was a very lost person please forgive me and my and God has restored that relationship between me and my daughter God has blessed me with a a business and I also work um with hospice on the side and I honestly believe that God took me into that business as well just to to pray for for the for the patients for the hospice patients and I've tried to go back into the strip clubs to preach the gospel but I'm banned like they literally banned me from El Paso and they banned me from Odessa. Like I am not allowed to go into those clubs anymore but God has just truly blessed me so much and I was in such a dark life like I never thought I was gonna see the light and I am here to tell you that there is light you can get out of that life you don't have to resort to that and Jesus loves you so much the love of the Father he loves you you do not need to go into the streets to make money you do not need to sell your body to make money you do not need to do that Jesus is here for you and he loves you so much amen well um do you want to say a prayer for the people that may be trapped in those uh situations that you were once trapped in yes father God you said where two or more are gathered on your name that you are in the midst Father God and I believe that you are here right now Holy Spirit please lead and guide us in all truth Father God I am praying for anybody that is going through sex trafficking prostitution being held out of your will stripping even a stripper I'm here to tell you that Jesus loves you so much he died on the cross for you and whatever it is that you are going through leave it all at the foot of the cross he is here for you and he loves you he died a horrible death for you and he loves you he wants to embrace you with his love and I pray Father God that this podcast reaches the ends of this earth reaches the nations father God and I pray in Jesus' mighty name amen so what did you think of Jessica's story?
