Chapter 15: Enter Delilah!

A new foe threatens Liam! The Great World Regime declares war!

Chapter fifteen Enter Delilah Holly's heart thumps as she tries to catch her fleeting breath. Her fingertips twitch and jerk as sweat pours down her face. She manages to focus on the woman in front of her, and asks What do you want? The woman holds her arms up and replies Nothing in particular. Just one thing. Have you seen him? Holly strains. What are you talking about? The boy with mixed hair. Where is he? No idea. Why are you here? The woman chuckles. Let me break it down for you. She takes out a stone from her pocket and acts. Do you know what this is? The stone was a prismatic diamond. It's shown without a light source. Holly lies. No. You blink too much when you lie. You haven't changed a bit. Your impulsiveness hasn't either. The woman laughs. I've changed. With this I will accomplish true world peace without the runt. World peace. This is my secret weapon. While I was in prison I came across this gem. It can extend the length of one's kana abilities. What does that have to do with the boy? The woman holds Liam's wanted poster. Even if I don't find him, he won't stand long with the great world regime. He survived this long. I bet he'll be okay. You're not getting it. The world regime has called for the extermination of all kana users that are not under his command. What? No, this can't be because of before Holly could finish her sentence, the woman tosses a newspaper article at her feet. The front title reads Breaking News The Great World Regime declares war on all Kana users. Holly rereads the words repetitively in her mind, like a crazed maniac, as the woman states. What a shame. Didn't you pay off your debt too? She laughs. The Prime Ambassador would never approve of this, Holly said in disbelief. Of course he wouldn't. But the Senate would. She baws her fist. The Redream has betrayed mankind, and they must be punished for it. Holly stares at the woman, grinds her teeth, and shouts And you think you're justified to do so? They may not know who you are, but I do. I know the real you, Delilah Harrison. You know nothing, Delilah smiles. Once I kill the Runt, I'll find the Jewel Islands and increase my power. You plan on killing him? He is a vessel of destruction. I will save this world from all turmoil. What's wrong with you? Why can't you just leave people alone? Delilah laughs. I'm not the Delilah you once knew. Delilah Harrison, Holly thought. Originally wanted for mass murder. She earned the registry of the second biggest killer in the world. I have to be careful. Holly makes a rock hand sign at Charlotte, who pays close attention. Holly made a scissors hand signal, opening and closing the gesture. Then she pointed at the floor. Lastly, she made a running gesture and another rock sign. She says to Delilah, You have no faith in him. Of course not. Liam is only fourteen years old. He's too young to handle a dragon like Petrel. What would killing him do? Simple. No boy means Petrol can't be awakened, Delilah said with an evil smile. I'll fix every issue, starting with anyone that gets in my way. Suddenly, she appears before Holly and attacks with her fist, but Holly blocks the attack with her right arm. Immediately, Holly feels a tug at the back of her collar as she's flung into a wall. As the debris covers the scene, Charlotte disappears into Liam's room. Holly emerges from the rubble and swings her fist at Delilah, who dodges her attacks. I will let you kill my friends! Holly screamed as she continues advancing towards her. Delilah catches her right fist and replies, We used to be friends. Holly cringes, then responds, Not anymore. Your methods are too destructive. Destructive? Delilah laughed. How else will I accomplish my will? I live to kill Holly, and killing you is another part of it. Meanwhile, Charlotte shouts at Liam. Get up! Get up! Liam awakens with the covers still wrapped around him. He sits up and asks What what? What's going on? You have to go. Delilah is here. Huh? Who's that? There's no time to explain. Hurry up and escape through the window. The window? Are you insane? It's the only exit. Go now. Charlotte leaves as Liam prepares himself in a frenzy. Holly crouches to the floor and clenches her chest. She says in a wheeze. You can't kill him. Where is he, Holly? Delilah yelled. Charlotte enters Holly's body and immediately propels herself at Delilo, who runs to her. As their forearms collide, sweat floats around them as they stare into each other's eyes. I won't let you, Charlotte said. My destiny calls. Charlotte punches Delilah back and continues to barrage her with fists. Delilah grabs her fist and pulls Charlotte into her knee. Next, Delilah kicks Charlotte in the face. Charlotte crashes into a pillar as Delilah continues. Your stupidity will cost the world. Delilah balls her fist. I will be the savior of this world no matter what. Charlotte stands, points her fist at Delilah, and says, Your ambitions are presumptuous. It's not your place to take that role. Delilah's body stiffens as Charlotte shouts Simons hold. I can't move. Delilah strained, but her body was stuck in place. You're under my bidding now. Once I give you a command, you must accomplish it, or you will die. Delilah laughs. You think that scares me? I will never die to the likes of you. I won't kill you. I'm not going back on the registry. But I want you to destroy your dream. This delusion that you created, end it here. Delilah smirks at Charlotte and replies, My determination is something nobody can destroy. Immediately, Delilah's body falls limp to the floor. Charlotte stroll to her body and examines it. What an idiot, Charlotte said. A cold chow crawls down her spine. That felt too easy. What was her power again? she thought. She's a maverick with Ugh Why can't I remember? Ryan's door burst open. I underestimated you, Charlotte. I didn't expect you to defeat my clone so easily. Delilah exits the room, holding the map in her hand. Charlotte cringes. No! Charlotte thought. It was all a trick. Everything was a trick! And I played right into it. You haven't grown a bit. Delilah raises her right palm to Charlotte and says, Domain immediately. Delilah's hair transforms into her pink hue as Charlotte is struck in her back. Charlotte crashes through the back wall and into Liam. They both fall to the floor as Delilah exits through the broken wall. Ow! Charlotte strains as she removes Liam off of her. She stands against Delilah, gazes down at him, and shouts, Liam! He rubs his eyes. Delilah laughs. Time to die. You achieved heart Of course. How else will I escape prison? We can't win this. We have to run. Charlotte dashes to the edge of the railing and jumps. Suddenly, her body freezes and slowly shifts to Delilah's position as she says, Did you forget? You're mine now, Charlotte. Liam sits up, rubs his head, and exclaims Ouch! He opens his eyes to the scene in front of him. Liam! Run! Charlotte shouted. Delilah says, I'll use the immortality stone for the greater good of the world. If that means a world without you, so be it. Immediately, Holly disappears, leaving behind her clothing as her ashes float into the distance. Liam crawls away as he comes to terms with the situation. He screams frantically, Who What did you do? Delilah grabs Liam by the throat and says, You're next, Liam Limo. She widens her eyes with bloodlust as her breaths become louder. Liam's eyes shift to red, and Molly uses his power of substitution to break away from her grasp. Molly runs to the railing and jumps over the cliff. Delilah gazes over the edge, extends her hand to Molly's body, and says Domain. However, nothing happens, and Molly fades into the big trees. A phone rings. Delile takes the phone out of her pocket and answers Hello There's a pause. Good. I'll be there soon. She breaks it and leaves. Welcome to the author's room. That was chapter fifteen. Enter Delilah. Ryan, right? That was all a trick. All a trick. So that was Delilah the whole time. That's why Delilah was looking for Jewel Islands because of that prismatic diamond thing, basically. Because if she goes to the Jewel Islands, she'll basically be able to use her power to the full. And that'll be explained more later into the story. But Delilah is now here. This is the main antagonist of this book. So there are multiple antagonists throughout the book, but this Delilah is the main one. Second ranking killer on the planet. Holly and Delilah know each other. She's looking for the boy with mixed hair, and she said she was going to kill him. Because if there's no boy, petrol will not wake up. And that is true. Because according to the prophecy, the boy with mixed hair is going to awaken petrol. So if she gets rid of that boy, that boy will never be able to wake up Petrol. The Great World Regime has declared war on all kind of users. This is big. This is more explained in the second book. It is, and like Holly said, this is not something like the Prime Ambassador would do. No, but the Senate would. So obviously, the Senate has uh more power than the Prime Ambassador at this time. At this time, the Senate has more power than the Prime Ambassador. And so why they declared a war, you will see later. Uh I give a certain hints throughout this book on why they did it, but the main I definitely tell you in the second book, like what happened in the first book. I do give it like a little background of what Delilah's powers are. Uh she says domain, and her hair turns a different color, meaning that yes, she has unlocked heart. Uh if you unlock heart, your hair does change color. That's with every character. Is this something to recognize heart basically? If someone else was to use heart, your hair changed color. Like, oh, you have heart. Holly is dead. Delilah kills Holly, he's about to kill Liam, but Molly escaped from that. There will be more for the 16th chapter. There's oh yeah, this chapter is this chapter is long. Chapter 16 is pretty long, but there's a lot to explain in that chapter, and I feel like a lot will be revealed. The main the main story is revealed in the 16th chapter, and I feel like you guys will like it. So come back next week and you'll find out what the main story is. Alright.
