Welcome to Two Hypnotherapists Talking with me, Denise Billen-Mejia here in Delaware, USA. (0:06) And me, Les Roberts in St Helens, United Kingdom. (0:10) This weekly podcast is for anyone and everyone who would like to know more about the fascinating (0:14) world of hypnosis and the benefits that it offers.I'm a clinical hypnotherapist and (0:22) specialist in working with children. And I'm a retired medical doctor and consultant hypnotist. (0:30) We are Two Hypnotherapists Talking.(0:33) So let's get on with the episode. (0:36) It is silly though, isn't it? When sometimes we forget the most simplest of words. (0:41) It really is.Les and I were talking about my next, my marketing plan has changed slightly. (0:50) Every month I'm working on a particular aspect of hypnosis or what it's used for. (0:55) This last month that I'm in right now, but you're not in June.June was, (1:01) my mind's gone blank again, I've been working on this. (1:05) Stress. Stress.(1:06) No, no, no, no, no. June was not anxiety. See, my brain's just gone.(1:13) Anxiety. (1:14) I need a session myself. Bring my brain back.(1:18) Chronic pain. (1:20) And so, and then the next one is anxiety and stress. (1:24) Those are the two big ones that I consider medical people come to me for.(1:28) A lot of weight. You see a lot of people for weight. You see children for weight.(1:33) I've only ever seen two children for weight in all the years I've been doing this. (1:38) Two children for weight. I've seen them for food issues, eating issues, (1:42) fussy eating, ARFID, which is food avoidance.(1:47) But I haven't seen any child for weight apart from those two. (1:52) That was a long time ago, yeah. But that's just something that I want to be able to do.(1:59) Because there is, apart from the dieticians for the National Health Service, (2:04) I don't think there's anywhere else for them to go. (2:07) Yeah, and you don't really want children following the ones that are advertised on TV (2:11) and all the other... (2:12) No, no. But I think I might have to do like a nutrition course or something first.(2:18) So I'm not quite sure really. (2:20) You think you're limited legally, you think? (2:23) I don't know. I don't know.I'd have to look into it. (2:26) It's something that I've never really thought about. (2:28) But I have been thinking these past few weeks, (2:32) well past few months about working with children in that capacity.(2:37) Because we're limited, aren't we? (2:40) Wherever we go, whether we're in the United States or whether we're over here in the UK (2:45) or whether we're anywhere in Europe, children's services are very, very limited. (2:52) Always has been. (2:53) Yeah, unless you're prepared to pay private.(2:56) Yeah, exactly. Politician, they're growing, they continue. (3:01) And at some point they will be voters, so pay attention to them now.(3:05) Yes, exactly, exactly. (3:08) It is all about them being healthy, but a healthy mind as well. (3:13) So like I keep saying, we'll just keep flying those flags, banging those drums and hopefully... (3:20) But tell me about your course or your webinar that you're running.(3:24) The webinar which is occurring this coming Saturday, (3:28) which is well before we're putting this out, this is later on in the month. (3:32) It's just me blathering on for about 15 minutes talking about hypnosis for pain (3:38) and the things it can address and how to go. (3:42) Hopefully some people coming will be doctors (3:45) who can then pass around the idea that hypnosis is good.(3:50) Because yes, it would be lovely if you said more to me, (3:52) but I'm only one person and I'm okay with them sharing with other people too. (3:56) But what we worry about as a group of people (3:59) is for more people to realise how helpful hypnosis can be (4:02) and how side effect free it is. (4:06) Yes, it can.(4:07) Really unusual to have a negative thing that happens. (4:11) The old happy action, that lasts about three minutes and it's gone. (4:15) So you're one on pain and then is it a rolling month? (4:22) I'm just going to, yeah, I'm going by the date of the month.(4:25) July 1st coming up next is the Wednesday. (4:30) So I'll start everything on... (4:34) It's gone again. (4:36) Is it very warm there? (4:37) Because as you can see with my face, it's very, very warm here.(4:41) It's actually fairly cool today. (4:43) This floor we air condition, this is the floor we sleep on. (4:46) But downstairs, it felt okay.(4:48) Today up here, it almost feels cold. (4:50) It's very grey. (4:51) There's not a lot of sun out.(4:53) It's very, very hot here today. (4:58) I love the hot weather. (5:00) We've been doing a little bit of gardening, (5:02) but where we've been doing the gardening, it's a bit of a sun trap.(5:06) So I came in a couple of hours before we came on to record to get a shower. (5:13) My face was bright red. (5:15) So I'm hoping that I've put enough stuff on now so it calms it down.(5:20) You put sunscreen on before you went out, naughty girl. (5:23) Well, I did. (5:24) I did because my facial stuff is factor 30.(5:28) But I didn't renew it and it was very, very hot. (5:32) And I kept just wiping my face, you know, because it was really hot. (5:35) Wiping it all off.(5:37) Yeah, yeah. (5:38) So I'm very, very red here, but I've got some nice... (5:45) I've never used it before, but I find it absolutely fantastic. (5:49) It's like a bar of soap, but it's oil.(5:52) So when it heats up in your hands, it turns to oil and it's like an after sun. (5:59) And you put it on your face. (6:01) So I've... (6:03) Please show me the details.(6:04) I'll see if Amazon's got it. (6:06) I will. (6:06) It's only a little bar, just a little bar like that.(6:10) But it's really, really good. (6:12) And there's also one that you can have for... (6:15) You can actually use it afterwards like a balm for going to sleep. (6:20) And I think that's like a lavender.(6:22) I used to get these beauty boxes every month, you know, (6:24) where you'd get all these free... (6:26) Not free things, but these trial things. (6:29) And that's where I'm experimenting a little bit, (6:32) thinking I've got so much stuff upstairs that I need to use rather than, you know, throw away. (6:37) By looking at it without just throwing it out the window.(6:41) Yeah, yeah. (6:42) So how organised is your new office? (6:45) Very organised. (6:46) There it is.(6:47) This is it? (6:47) Oh, yes. (6:48) That's it. (6:48) I can see it through the screens, yes.(6:50) Through the screen, yeah. (6:51) So I'm in it, but the electrics aren't in yet. (6:55) So once the electrics are in, then I will be... (6:58) Oh, so by the time people are listening to this, (7:00) you'll probably be in it.(7:01) Oh, yeah. (7:01) I think it's next week now because I don't think it'll come this week (7:05) because it's far too hot here. (7:06) We're expecting it to be in the 30s by Thursday, Friday.(7:13) And, you know, people up north, we're not used to that kind of temperature. (7:19) But it'll just come when he's ready. (7:22) So everything's more or less ready for him.(7:25) So it'll be great. (7:26) A little breeze outside too, which is always good. (7:29) A little, yeah.(7:31) Not much, but a little. (7:33) But it's just nice. (7:34) Like where the bit of the garden that we've been working on, (7:38) it's all about... (7:39) I've done my herb garden and everything.(7:41) That's what I was doing out there today. (7:44) So it smells lovely and I've got loads and loads of sage. (7:47) So I've hung it up to dry.(7:48) It smells delightful in our kitchen. (7:51) So getting back to... (7:53) Yes, sorry. (7:53) What's my first? (7:54) No, it's perfect, my wine does that all the time.(7:58) And I can't remember words, but words come out of my mouth (8:00) and they're not the right words. (8:02) The... (8:03) I don't know how effective this is, (8:06) but I'm going to try it for the rest of the year. (8:07) I'm going to concentrate on one aspect of problems.(8:11) And two articles in the online paper, (8:16) two talks, an online talk. (8:19) The nice thing about it is I could sit down (8:22) and do all my social media in a block. (8:24) You know? (8:26) Instead of, oh, I've got to write something.(8:28) If you're not, it's just like... (8:30) So I think it works. (8:33) I think it's a system that's going to work for me. (8:37) Now, will I get new clients from it? (8:39) I don't know.(8:40) Let's hope. (8:40) It's all about generating that interest though, isn't it? (8:45) And seeing where you go from there. (8:49) And the thing is that people do need... (8:51) Most people need to see something several times (8:53) before they'll act on it.(8:54) Yeah. (8:56) You'll have to put some videos out, Denise. (8:58) I do have a couple.(9:00) I've been doing it. (9:01) I've been making videos this weekend. (9:04) So as soon as we finish here, (9:05) I'm going to make a video to go out tomorrow morning.(9:08) So... (9:09) Do you make it with a topic in mind or a modality in mind? (9:15) It depends. (9:16) Yes, it's got to have something behind it, hasn't it? (9:20) So the one that I did for this morning, I made yesterday. (9:24) And it was for children's behaviours when they're anxious.(9:29) So talking is... (9:31) It was directed at parents. (9:33) I can change it. (9:34) But the one I'm doing tonight, as we've finished, (9:38) is about a parent cafe.(9:42) Cafe. (9:43) What's a cafe for? (9:44) Cafe. (9:45) I don't know.(9:46) A parent cafe. (9:47) So I'm going to run a parent cafe every Thursday, 10am to 5pm. (9:52) In real life or online? (9:54) No, online.(9:56) Via Zoom. (9:57) And I'm going to run it ev
Welcome to Two Hypnotherapist Talking with me, Denise Bill and Mahia in Delaware, USA.
SPEAKER_01And me, Let Robert in St. Helens, United Kingdom.
SPEAKER_00This weekly podcast is for anyone and everyone who would like to know more about the fascinating world of hypnosis and the benefits that it offers.
SPEAKER_01I'm a clinical hypnotherapist and specialist in working with children.
SPEAKER_00And I'm a retired medical doctor and consultant hypnotist.
SPEAKER_01We are two hypnotherapists talking.
SPEAKER_00So let's get on with the episode.
SPEAKER_01It is silly though, isn't it, when we sometimes we forget the most simplest of words.
SPEAKER_00Mm-hmm. It really is. Les and I were talking about my my next my marketing plan has changed slightly every month. I'm working on a particular aspect of fitness or what it's used for. This last month that I'm in right now, but you're not. In June. June was my blank again. I've been working about it. No, no, no, no, no. June was not anxiety. See, my brain has gone. Bring my brain back. Chronic pain. And so and then the next one is anxiety and stress. Those are the two big ones that I consider medical people come to me for. A lot of weight. Do you see a lot of people for weight? Do you see children for weight?
SPEAKER_01I I've only severed two children for weight in all the years I've been doing this. Two children for weight. I've seen them for food issues, eating issues, fussy eating RFID, which is food avoidance, but I haven't seen any child for weight apart from those two. That was a long time ago, yeah. But that's just something that I I want to be able to do because there is, apart from the dietitians for the National Health Service, I don't think there's anywhere else for them to go. Yeah, and you don't really want children following the the ones that are advertised on TV and all the other no, no, but I think I might have to do like a nutrition course or something first. So I'm not quite sure really.
SPEAKER_00You think limit you are limited legally, you think?
SPEAKER_01I don't know. I don't know. I'd have to look into it. It's something that I've never really thought about, but I have been thinking these past few weeks, well, past few months about working with children in in that capacity. So because it's it we're we're limited, aren't we? Wherever we go, whether we're in the the United States or whether we're over here in the UK or whether it we're anywhere in Europe, it's very children's services are very, very limited. Unless you prepared. Yeah, unless you're prepared to pay private.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, exactly. Politicians, they're growing, they continue, and at some point they will be voters. So pay attention to them now.
SPEAKER_01Yes, exactly, exactly. And it's it is all about you know them being healthy, but a healthy mind as well, you know. So we would like like I keep saying, we'll just keep flying at those flags, banging those drums, and hopefully. But tell me about you, tell me about your course or your webinar that you run in.
SPEAKER_00The w the webinar which is occurring tomorrow this coming Saturday, which is well before we're putting this out. This is later on in the month. It's just me blothering on for about 15 minutes, talking about hypnosis for pain and the the things that it's been addressed and how to go. Uh hopefully some people coming will be doctors who can then use, you know, pass around the idea that hypnosis is good. Because yes, it would be lovely if you start more to me, but I'm only one person, and I'm okay with them sharing another beautiful joke. But what we worrying about as a a group of people is for more people to realise how powerful hypnosis can be and how side effect free is really unusual to have a a negative effect, a negative thing can happen. The odd app reaction that lasts about three to three minutes. It's gone.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So you're going to you've you're going you one on pain and then is it a rolling month?
SPEAKER_00I'm just gonna yeah, yeah. I'm gonna buy the date of the month, July 1st. Coming up next is is the Wednesday. So I'll start everything on it's gone again.
SPEAKER_01Is it is it very warm there? Because as you can see with my face, it's very, very warm.
SPEAKER_00It's actually fairly cool today. This this floor we air conditioners is this floor we sleep on, but downstairs it felt okay. Today up here it's almost feels cold. It's very grey, there's a lot of sun out in the street.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's very, very hot here today. We've been doing a little bit yeah, we've been it's I love the hot weather. We've been doing a little bit of gardening, but where we've been doing the gardening, it's a bit of a sun trap. So I came in a couple of hours before we came on to record to get a shower. My face is bright red, so I'm hoping that I've put enough stuff on now so it can't sit down.
SPEAKER_00Did you put sun grade on before you went out? Naughty girl.
SPEAKER_01Well, I did, I did, because my facial stuff is back to 30, but okay. I didn't renew it and it was very, very hot. And I kept just wiping my face, you know, because it was really hot.
SPEAKER_00Wiping it all off.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. So I'm very, I'm very, very red here, but I've got some some nice, it's it's sort of like I've never never used it before, but I've found it absolutely fantastic. And it's like a bar of soap, but it's oil. So when it heats up in your hands, it turns to oil. Um it's like an after after sun, and you put it on it for your face.
SPEAKER_00So I've please tell me the details also if Amazon's got it.
SPEAKER_01I will, it's only a little bar, just a little bar like that, but it's really, really good. And there's also one that you can have for you can actually use it afterwards like a balm for going to sleep, and I think that's like a lavender. I used to get these beauty boxes every month, you know, where you'd get all these free, not free things, but these trial things, and that's where I'm experimenting a little bit, thinking I've got so much stuff upstairs that I need to I need to use rather than you know.
SPEAKER_00By looking at it without just throwing it out the window. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. So how organized is your new office? Very organized. There it is. This is it? Oh, yes, you can see it through the screen. So I'm in, I'm in it, but the electrics aren't in yet.
SPEAKER_00So once the electrics are in, then I will be Oh, so by by the time people are listening to this, you'll probably be in the yeah.
SPEAKER_01I think it's I think it's next week now, because I don't think he'll come this week because it's it's far too hot here. We're expecting it to be in the 30s in by Thursday, Friday, and you know, people up north, we're not used to to that kind of temperature, so but he'll just come when he's ready. So everything's more or less ready for him, so it'd be great.
SPEAKER_00A little braeze outside, too, which is always good.
SPEAKER_01A little, yeah, not much, but a little, but it's just nice, like where the the bit of the garden that we've been working on. I uh it's all about I've done my my herb garden and everything, that's what I was doing out there today. So it smells lovely, and I've got loads and loads of sage, so I've hung it up to dry. So it smells delightful in our kitchen.
SPEAKER_00So getting back to asking first. No, we don't know. My wine does that all the time. And I can't remember words, but it's coming out of their mouth, and they're not the right words. The I don't know how effective this is, but I'm gonna try it for the rest of the year. I'm gonna concentrate on one aspect of content and two articles in the online paper, two talks, an online talk. And the nice thing about it is I could sit down and do all my social media in a book. You know, instead of, oh, I've got to write something. So I I I think it works. I think it it's it's a system that's gonna work for me. Now will it will I get new clients from it? I don't know.
SPEAKER_01It's all about gener it's all about generating that interest though, isn't it? And uh and seeing where you go from there.
SPEAKER_00And the thing is that people do need most people need to see something several times before they're like. Yeah.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01You'd have to put some videos out, Denise.
SPEAKER_00I do have a couple.
SPEAKER_01I've been doing I've been making videos this weekend, so I'm do as soon as we finish here, I'm gonna make a video to go out tomorrow morning.
SPEAKER_00So do you make it with a a topic in mind or a modality in mind?
SPEAKER_01Uh it depends. Yes, it's got to, it's got to have something behind it, hasn't it? So the one that I did for this morning, I I made yesterday, and it was for children's behaviours when they're anxious. So talking is it was directed at parents. I'll I can change it. So but the one I'm doing tonight as as we finished is about a parent cafe, cafe. What does it say cafe for? Cafe. No, no, a parent cafe. So I'm gonna run a parent cafe every Thursday, 10 a.m. In real life or on online? No, online via Zoom, and I'm gonna run it every Thursday.
SPEAKER_00Sorry, bring your own coffee.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_01Yep, just turn up, just rock up with your with your you know, your cup of coffee or your water, and then we can talk about children's issues. So it's just like a little bit of um a support group.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Are you publicising this through a particular group or is that just just for people who know you in the various things that they know you?
SPEAKER_01It's on just putting it on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Insta, but I'm gonna put it on TikTok as well. So if anybody wants to come and join me. Have you done much in TikTok? No, I I did a I did start and then I I stopped because it's very fast-paced TikTok, isn't it? And uh I'm gonna get 20 seconds, supposedly. I'm man built for comfort, not for speed. So no, so yeah, and I I don't I like to have a look at my videos and and see how they're doing rather than before putting them out. So I'm just gonna do a quick 60-second one to invite people to my cafe and see what happened. Okay. So yours, yours is so yours is pain, chronic pain. Pain was true, yeah. Yeah, and then you're doing stress and anxiety.
SPEAKER_00Correct. I decided with help from a couple of other people I talked to to put off weight issues until right before things, so it'll be November.
SPEAKER_01Okay, yeah. Brilliant.
SPEAKER_00It's not a very obvious time to do it, but in July you kind of missed the boat already. You're gonna you're just gonna make yourself miserable refusing to eat ice cream at the very time of the year you should be eating ice cream.
unknownYeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Um but in November we'll do, we'll work on way. But then there's other topics too, and I never really the the really big ones are pain, medical issues, which just sort of wraps up to that, and and anxiety, just general anxiety. So exactly what we talk about.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So when um what we do with our guests, we always ask for the information, don't we? And we leave it at the end of the video. Um so give me that information, and what I'll do is I I will put it at the end of the video. So is anybody invited, or do they have to be a doctor?
SPEAKER_00Nothing can be anybody with an interest.
SPEAKER_01Fantastic.
SPEAKER_00And interviewers, perfectly perfectly.
SPEAKER_01So they don't necessarily have to be a hypnotherapist either, do they? No, no. So it's anybody.
SPEAKER_00But again, it's just a welcome, but I will mostly be speaking. It will sound like I'm speaking down to them because obviously I'm speaking to the general public.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no, it's good, yeah. That's fantastic there. I think it's a really good idea, isn't it?
SPEAKER_00I think I think it's it's easier for me to get my head around thinking about one thing. I mean, obviously, when you see a client, you deal with whatever they deal with. That's easy face to face. But it's it's been a lot smoother to put the the actual building box together.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Uh just have one subject.
SPEAKER_01We shall see. We shall see. I can see more people. And how's your website coming along with it?
SPEAKER_00My website is okay, the people that are helping me operate in Pakistan at the most rate. And a few people cross over, but that means that they're about 14 hours ahead of me. So I've got to think about it on Sunday. Spend it on Sunday night for them to pick it up there Monday, and I'll find out about it on Tuesday.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00A bit of uh frustrating. Once once you get into a rhythm, it works fine, but yeah, it's just that initial trying to talk to somebody. You you can you can communicate them with video. I'm gonna try that. I definitely don't think they're understanding my written English a lot of the time, even though they're obviously very capable in English.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, is this the same things that you're doing with Melanie from Mind Works?
SPEAKER_00It's her it's her speech group that she she um has VAs for. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Right, okay. Have you worked with her? No, I haven't. No, the first time I met her was when uh we she came on uh our podcast.
SPEAKER_00Oh, when she came on.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so I've never met her.
SPEAKER_00So it was it was really she's been a hit with us for a while. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's it's it's good. It's it's really good. And of course, like all the other guests that we've had on her, we know them really, don't we?
SPEAKER_00Well, uh for the most part, you certainly do.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Do we know Sheila's gonna be back on this round?
SPEAKER_01I'm hoping so, but um I saw I saw her today, and I I was with her all weekend. I was on a course all weekend with her, so I shall give her a little bit of a a nudge and see what she says.
SPEAKER_00But I think we've um I think we've got I really I went to her I went to her class on she was doing she's doing a one-off that starts like later this week.
SPEAKER_01Oh on Thursday she's doing it, isn't she?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and I really wanted to, but I've already got things booked in. So that no, no, stick to what you're supposed to be doing now.
SPEAKER_01Don't get sidetracked. What what what's it about? What's the class about?
SPEAKER_00Working locally. So being able to use first the people who are you know, pretty sorry. I my my videos are going to Australia and you're going to live next door. So that's it's just really told about that, working in her own area.
SPEAKER_01Oh, that'd be nice though, won't it? Yeah, I think so. Isn't she? Yeah.
SPEAKER_00She's very good. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. The one that I did this weekend was speaking for sales, it was. So it was Oh, so not all hypnotists on the course. No, they were all hypnotherapists on the board. Yeah. So it was picking speaking for sales, communication, influence, and client attraction. So it was all about how you begin to talk, you know, like instead of saying thank you for all being here, you know, my name's Les Roberts, blah, blah, blah. You could possibly open up with uh, let me ask you a question.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_01So it was all, it was very, very good, very good. And it spurred me on to do a lot of things yesterday. So that's why I got this uh these this video out. I did some posts and I created the parent uh cafe.
SPEAKER_00Excellent.
SPEAKER_01So that yeah.
SPEAKER_00So what was it a particular group that we put this down or a particular person?
SPEAKER_01It was hypnotherapists actually.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but but who was the uh who was the parent company?
SPEAKER_01Oh the pet the parent cafe, you mean that I've created?
SPEAKER_00No. The thing you went to yesterday. Yeah, it was okay. Who was the creator of that thing?
SPEAKER_01Sheila. Sheila. Oh, okay. Yeah, it was Sheila's course. Okay. Sorry, yeah, yeah. Sheila's course. It was very good, very, very good. And it's given me a lot of food for thought, you know, a lot of things because, like you said, we've got to keep up, haven't we? Posting on social media or sending emails out or doing whatever we need to do. Because if we don't and we sit back for a bit, we lose, don't we? It is, and that's the same as what I'm experiencing on LinkedIn at the moment. So I stayed off LinkedIn when I was when the cabin was being built and when I was moving, because I couldn't really think of anything relevant to say because a lot of my things was all about, you know, children. So for some reason, I just stayed off LinkedIn. Now, when I post on LinkedIn, it's like tumbleweed, and that's how quickly you can drop off. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00What's nice is because of the mechanism I'm using now, I can preload all my social media stuff ahead and just goes out the right place. Yeah. And after about the third day, I started seeing an uptick of the number of people who were seeing them. Yeah, yeah. Haven't had any, I mean, I'll give thumbs up, but I haven't heard too many actual concrete comments.
SPEAKER_01But mostly it's all it's all about staying current, isn't it? And it's all about putting putting the things out there that will attract people rather than just think, oh, do you know what? I'm just gonna put a post out about children, you know, or about pain. You've got to make it specific, haven't you, so that it targeted it, it targets your audience. And if you don't, then it's like me.
SPEAKER_00Might as well on LinkedIn. Just to go do something else. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Uh do you know what? I'll get I'll get it back. So that's that's absolutely fine.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, exactly. Yeah, and I things fell off for me because I was in the hospital. But apart from that, I didn't and you know, I just took my foot off the pedal. But it's it's coming back. I still get a lot of comments from people.
SPEAKER_01Yep.
SPEAKER_00But I don't see a lot of yeah, yeah, yeah. Um I I think there's been a little uptick in the number of hypnotherapists advertising in Delaware. When I first came, it was like a ghost of the stuff. Yeah. I know there's quite a few more, including somebody who charges more than but he's been a hypnotist for 25 years. He's way started with me.
SPEAKER_01I I charge more than the local hypnotherapists. I charge I but I stand by my prices and and I'm quite happy to do that.
SPEAKER_00No, but it's very few people have have because I'll let people pay on time and various, yeah, various other ways of doing it. But it's never been an issue. I've never had anybody say, oh, that's more than so and so. Yeah.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_00It's usually just uh maybe next month. Yeah, that's okay. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And I I will tell you, I've got some good news that I am the I've been recognized as the leading hypnotherapist in St. Helens, achieving a quality score of over 95%, and representing the top 1% of UK businesses. So I have my little my little emblem that I can put on my website and put on my uh although I must and I apologize to you because I do think that's very good, but I always think, okay, so how big is St.
SPEAKER_00Helens?
SPEAKER_01Well, well, so St. Helens is about 200,000 people. So it's a good size thing. It is quite a large town, yeah. It is in comparison to where I I used to live in Manchester.
SPEAKER_00I mean you think that's Manchester's next to you. Manchester's probably several million. I don't even know how.
SPEAKER_01Yes, yeah, but I was I lived in a town just outside Manchester and St. Helens is bigger.
SPEAKER_00People talk about Philadelphia, that is one of the major cities in the country, and they're only about they're less than half a million. I mean, considerably less, like maybe 300,000. I haven't seen the numbers recently.
SPEAKER_01Um we had it was something about shuffling because of the COVID impetus, but but yeah, I think I'm sure there's about 200 that 200,000 people here anyway.
SPEAKER_00You've got much, much bigger town than I'm in. I've got 80,000, I'm the biggest. Ours is the biggest town in the whole state. Delaware is tiny. We we've just cleared a million people, the last census.
SPEAKER_01We've done whether I mean it's we don't like talking about politics, do we? Because we we can get into a whole load of talking, but our I know it's it's only current to us recording this today, but our Prime Minister resigns. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00We've been warned about it happening. Sorry?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00So yeah. It's a tough job. I I wouldn't like it. That was horrible.
SPEAKER_01I wouldn't like any of it, but no, I I wouldn't like it at all.
SPEAKER_00I think the reason why is there any front runner expected to take over themselves? Or they just vote for who they want. So he won't step down until the new person is in place.
SPEAKER_01He won't step down until the new person's in place. So we'll have to see who pops up and says, Yes, me, you know, I'll vote. But it's a it's a sad thing, isn't it? When you know you've got one of the hardest jobs in the whole of the country. People think that you can't do it, you know.
SPEAKER_00But I don't ever remember listening to him as they're interesting to talk listen to. He doesn't really have the see.
SPEAKER_01I'll be honest, I like him, you see, because he's I don't dislike him, but I just he doesn't like it. Yeah, I I like him. And I just thought he would have had more gumption, really, because he's he's a QC, he's um a man who's a real attorney. Exactly. He stands up.
SPEAKER_00Stands for Queen's Council Americans.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, he used to stand up in uh in court and debate and you know, deliver, you know, his speech and everything. And that you've got to be very, very confident to be able to do that. Because I remember seeing a barrister not so long ago to help him to deliver, you know, to deliver his talk and for him to stand. He was very, very tall as well. So I think he he sort of hunched himself. But going back to Keir Starmer, he must have I don't know, I would just feel so sorry for it. I feel sorry for anybody who has to resign from a job. Because they put all the heart and soul into it, don't they, to get there. And then you never know, we might get her.
SPEAKER_00By the time this goes out, we might even know who the next one is. Yes, and everybody's saying that they didn't really say anything. We didn't know. No, we didn't. Yeah, like everything else knows. There are days when you just don't want to. Your brain just won't.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, my and I can't find the words. My face is burning off, so I need to go and put some more stuff on my face. Yeah, don't forget to send me the I shall see you Friday.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
