SPEAKER_01

Hello everyone. We hope you have had a fabulous weekend. And if you haven't, we hope that your week's even better than your weekend. So welcome back to episode 20. From the sidelines with Coach Cheyenne and my brother Bauman. He is right here. We're tucked in a room, ready to share a lot of sports updates with you guys.

SPEAKER_02

Really? We have a lot?

SPEAKER_01

There's a lot. A lot happened over the weekend, which I'm very excited to share. Um, if you are brand new to our podcast, welcome. We're so happy you're here. We hope you stick to the very end of this podcast because we have a lot of just things to say. We argue because we're siblings. But you know, it's all fun and games because we are we love sports. Well, especially I do. And then he I tell him what's happening in life with sports. Like he didn't know that Messi played for Argentina. The amount of people that DM'd me, number one, about that, is insane. They're shocked, and they're all your friends who DM'd me. Like, how does he not know?

SPEAKER_02

You know what? They probably didn't know either. They're pretending.

SPEAKER_00

They know. Some of them play soccer. Courtney?

SPEAKER_02

Then then they know. Then they know. No, if they played soccer, they know. But if they don't follow it closely, they pretend to know.

SPEAKER_01

My brother didn't know Messi Flavor Argentine. It's still groundbreaking news to me.

SPEAKER_02

I also I just never thought of where he played, who he played soccer for. Because if I feel like he came up out of nowhere. Listen, I feel like I used to always hear about Ronaldo. Okay. And I knew who he played for, which right now I can't think of.

SPEAKER_00

Which country does he play for?

SPEAKER_02

He's Portuguese.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Um, and I know this because I went to a random uh sports bar that said, what was it? R what's it like seven? RF7 or something. No, no, Remember.

SPEAKER_01

R C right?

SPEAKER_02

R C, yeah, RC7.

SPEAKER_01

No, it'll be C R, Cristiana Ronaldo.

SPEAKER_02

That's Jesus. Okay. CR7.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah, this is the story.

SPEAKER_02

Let's start with this story.

SPEAKER_01

Welcome. And also, he didn't know who uh Messi played for and Cristiano.

SPEAKER_02

I knew who I well, I didn't know who Cristiano Ronaldo played for, but I was in Lisbon a couple of summers ago. I was, I remember trying to watch tennis, and I was there with a friend, and he wasn't interested in watching any sports, which is fine. He was at a museum. I found this bar that was playing tennis. I went in, watched a bunch of tennis, cute little bar, was very excited.

SPEAKER_01

It's called It would have been Wimbledon because it was summer, right?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it was French. It was French. Yeah. And then it was CR and it said CR7. I didn't think anything of it, anything of it. I got a little coffee. I'm having my coffee. I'm enjoying myself. And then I was there for a couple of days and I wanted to continue watching it. So every day I'd pop into this bar and go watch tennis. And they would play tennis one day, they weren't playing it. So I asked and they put it on. On the fourth, third or fourth day of going to this bar consecutively, I noticed people would come in and take pictures and stuff. And I know, and at that point, I noticed a couple of like soccer jerseys on the wall. Oh insane. And I'm like, what's the deal with this place? And also, why do people kind of come into this bar and take pictures? I don't understand. I'm just here to watch the tennis on the screens. Turns out it's Cristiano Ronaldo's hotel, boutique hotel. Actually, I don't know how many he has in the world, maybe one or two. Lisbon, obviously, being He's from Portugal. The main one. So I was in Cristiano Ronaldo's hotel, sports lobby bar for days on end without realizing that that's where I was. And one day I finally asked, that's you know what I knew? This guy took all these pictures, and I was like, what are you taking pictures of? He's like, Cristiano Ronaldo's jerseys on the wall. I'm like, oh, okay. Oh, no, no. CR no, didn't didn't think anything of it. I think I talked to you. Me.

SPEAKER_00

And I was like, what's CR7?

SPEAKER_02

What's CR7? What's this bar CR7? And she's like, and that's when you were like, uh, anyways, that was Is it even CR7? It is. It I'm pretty sure it is. Oh, he's got cologne, underwear. He's got everything. It's all under that brand, I'm pretty sure.

SPEAKER_01

Everyone, I've now Googled CR7 Hotel.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, where is it? Cristiano Ronaldo, yeah, designed active trendy. Yeah, Lisbon. Lisboa. Madrid. Yes. Marrakesh. See, he's got a few. Times Square.

SPEAKER_01

In New York.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. There you go.

SPEAKER_01

One, two, three, four. He has five hotels.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, so without embarrassing myself at this point, who cares? What team did he play for for a while?

SPEAKER_01

Manchester United. Right? So he played um for like a bunch of like Real Madrid.

SPEAKER_02

Um I felt like for me, Messi, for me, Messi came up nowhere.

SPEAKER_01

If you say out of nowhere, I'm gonna actually hit you sideways.

SPEAKER_02

Not out of nowhere, but I started hearing more and more about him. I think Christian Ronaldo for me felt like he was way more mainstream. Yeah. Is that not is that my wrong to think that? Like, why did Messi's name for me never come up with someone who does follow pop culture and sports and things, like certain sports?

SPEAKER_01

Well, because Christiana is like likes to be in the like the highlight. He's like a little bit of like a He's yeah, he's a show boy. He's a yeah, and he likes the media, he likes the attention. He is very showy. Um Messi is like a humble goat. And Cristiano, people will argue this. They will say he's the goat. But so the argument is back and forth over who is it Messi, who is it um Cristiano, and but like Messi won't say any word. He's a he's a silent assassin, Messi. Cristiano is like showing you the pride, taking a shirt, showing you his abs, showing you each muscle, like trying to be like the cute, yeah. Well, of course. That's that's probably how he shows up on your feed.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my god, just because he's starting showing up on my feed. That well, there it is. There is uh the revelation, ladies and gentlemen. That is how I know of Cristiano Ronaldo. Anyway, um CR7, that is. Yeah, well, I I I don't think anything of it. I was just there to watch the tennis. Um, and so yes, Messi really kind of came up for me when Miami, when he kind of came over to Miami.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, wow, that late. Yeah, his end of his career. Wow, insane.

SPEAKER_02

His way out. Um, speaking of tennis, see that segue wasn't even much of a segue. We watched the Miami Open Finals. We predicted, even though we wanted our girl. No, well, we wanted like okay, between Sabalenka and Coco Golf, we knew that Coco wasn't gonna take it, but Coco put up a good fight. She she she won her set, the second set. And in the last set, I wouldn't say she got killed. She put up a good fight, but yeah, I think if she tweaks a couple of things, obviously, um, she got it. The what's it called? The Sunshine Double?

SPEAKER_01

Sunshine Double.

SPEAKER_02

For those of you who don't know, if you there the two back-to-back tournaments are Indian Wells and Palm Springs and then Miami opened, and they happened literally back to back. And so now if you win both, it's called the Sunshine Double. I think in men's only five.

SPEAKER_01

No, eight.

SPEAKER_02

Eight men have done it. And Yannick Sinner, being one of them, who just did it. He's the eighth. He's the eighth one. He just won it.

SPEAKER_01

And for women, how many?

SPEAKER_02

Five, I think.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, five.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, that's what it was. Indian Welds. He just won Indian Wells, and he just won. Um oh, they both did. They both just won Indian Wells. And they oh my god, you have a visual, ladies and gentlemen.

SPEAKER_01

I have a visual. I'm sharing screen. This is the reason why. Um the last time this happened was 2016, where both men and women won.

SPEAKER_02

Interesting. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and it was Djokovic.

SPEAKER_02

And do you know why they call it the Sunshine Double?

SPEAKER_01

Because it's sunny in both places.

SPEAKER_02

Bingo. She's awake and alert.

SPEAKER_01

She's had a cup of tea.

SPEAKER_02

And she's also moving.

SPEAKER_01

She's moving, folks. She's moving. Okay, but do we want to talk a little bit about? Oh, I have a few other like facts.

SPEAKER_02

Um hardcore facts you had.

SPEAKER_01

I had some fun. Hard port. Hardcore.

SPEAKER_02

Oh god, I just did a nitty-diddy over here, but not as bad as nitty-did.

SPEAKER_01

Can we talk about nitty ditty for a quick second? So if you didn't join if you did not join us on our last episode, sucks to be you, but you should listen to it.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my god. That is a threat if I've ever heard one.

SPEAKER_01

Um we we're seeing there might be one of our best ones that we've done.

SPEAKER_02

It is, I think, in my opinion, it's it's our best episode so far.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so I was because when I become intense and really like, let me just show you how it happens.

SPEAKER_02

Oh god, here, I'll just give you a screen.

SPEAKER_01

I get like this, I get really serious. I'm telling you all the facts. I'm hitting my brother with everything like this. And then I was like in a flow, and obviously my words were just like whatever. So I just said, you know what? She's in her nitty ditty details. And the amount of phone calls that I have received about.

SPEAKER_02

And that's when I popped in. I said nitty ditty.

SPEAKER_01

He didn't let me slide with it.

SPEAKER_02

Did you know you said it?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so because when you say something incorrectly, you're like, that doesn't make sense, but continue- You gotta go. But continue the conversation because, like, that's done. I need to hit you with the facts.

SPEAKER_02

Well, Coach Chine, the show must go on, as they say. And so you are the utmost performer, and you just keep I beeline through it.

SPEAKER_01

You you paused me.

SPEAKER_02

I halted.

SPEAKER_01

You halted me.

SPEAKER_02

I stopped the pod and I said, let's discuss the ditty detail super quickly. And you know what? It has been our most viral moment to date with full five, most of the full five people interacting with the past.

SPEAKER_01

Um, what was a lot of fun, I think, was that uh a few friends that I haven't like spoken to on the phone in a long time ended up calling me. And I'm like, whoa, what do I have the honor of like for you to call me, you know, general manager of XYZ team? And it was like nitty diddy, nitty ditty did me in. And I was like, oh my god, the nitty-diddy got people okay. Let me get right into the nitty-ditty details of tennis and a little a few facts for the tennis lovers out there. Okay. So one of the main ones was that Sinner, um, he 34. I have I have a visual because you know what? Who doesn't love a visual?

SPEAKER_02

What about the people that are listening?

SPEAKER_01

But I'm gonna talk to them too. The one if you're listening, uh-huh, Sinner is the first man in history to win the sunshine double without dropping a set. Did you know that?

SPEAKER_02

He didn't lose one set in any of the in either tournaments. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

That is incredible. If you don't know anything about tennis, that's hard. Yeah, that is very, very difficult because there's incredible players, so you didn't mess up at all.

SPEAKER_02

It's it literally says first time first man in history. Okay, so no one's ever done that before.

SPEAKER_01

Correct. But we'd like some tennis channel. You know what? We love a good tennis channel like browse. And then the next now she's just browsing the website. No, I wanted to tell you about is it 34 weeks or 32 weeks?

SPEAKER_02

Oh, it's it, I think it's 34, where he has he has won um, it's 34, uh, it's 34 straight sets on hardcore.

SPEAKER_01

So that that makes it He has the longest streak.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, exactly, for winning the most sets on a hardcourt.

SPEAKER_01

So those are two separate stats. The first one is that he didn't drop a set in the double. Right. And he's also I have a like I have a picture of it. I need to remember.

SPEAKER_02

Also, side note, let's talk about them for a quick second. We didn't talk about the women's doubles also doing the sunshine double. Taylor Townsend and Synia Kova. These girls have been partners for a little bit, and they're I think they're ranked maybe second for doubles in the world. They're amazing. And yeah, they absolutely also did it.

SPEAKER_01

That's fun. Yeah, all of the singles, yeah. Men's singles, women's singles, and women's doubles.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, we don't have to be able to do that.

SPEAKER_01

That's really cool. That's really cool. Uh, my point about Cinner was that the most consecutive sets won in an ATP Masters 1000 level, he is on a streak of 33.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, he's one of the most sets. So it makes sense that he hasn't dropped a set in the last two.

SPEAKER_01

I think about 33. The next one down, the next longest streak is Djokovic with 24. Oh, wow. Carlos with 21, Djokovic with 19, Andy Murray. Oh, he's with 18.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

And then guess who? Sinner again with 18. Right. So he hard court and center. Wow. So that's good. That's that's fun.

SPEAKER_02

That is a hard man on a hard court.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so this was um a fun um thing that I wanted to hard man on a hard court. She's just very let me tell you guys about Sabalanka and what her march. What an incredible march for this girl.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, like the month of March. March. Oh, I thought like you're talking about the way she walked.

SPEAKER_01

No, she got a cute dog. She named the dog Ash. She got engaged. She's a 12 carat. Do you want to say why Ash probably? Hold on one second. Let's hit me with the facts. Okay. She has a um 12 karat diamond engagement ring, which is like takes over a whole finger.

SPEAKER_00

Great.

SPEAKER_01

She won um after a like it's taken her a while to like win some things, but not a while. But anyways, she won uh Indian Wells, and now she's won, she's done the double, which she hasn't done before. She's only lost to one person in 23 um games games in Australia in the finals. No, no, this year so far. So she only lost the only one she lost was in the finals in Australia, and she's won every single other. So think about that. It's an overwhelming like march of just like joy and just hitting accomplishment after accomplishment after just like things like just happening.

SPEAKER_02

What did she do to accomplish the 12 carat ring?

SPEAKER_01

Oh she found the guy who has the resources to be able to do that. Nothing. Like, how dare you?

SPEAKER_02

What kind of accomplishment? Steffi Graph. Oh my god, she's pulling up more visuals, ladies and gentlemen. Are you pulling up more visuals? What do you oh? It's a visual.

SPEAKER_01

She's joining the Elite, the Sunshine Double, like we mentioned. She's the fifth player to do it. We love a good Steffi Graph moment. Um, Kim.

SPEAKER_02

Quick question because I'm looking at all the screens because I'm beside you. On IG Live, do they not get to see the visuals that you share?

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, they do? Okay. It just says it's delayed. Uh, I see. Ah, yes. Okay, beautiful. Thank you so much. We're moving on and pretending that that didn't happen. We will be cutting that right out of this very live show.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, there's no cutting because my brother just needs to listen to what I'm saying.

SPEAKER_02

I'm back.

SPEAKER_01

He's back. So that's our like that's my tennis update. So I'm gonna try watch this transition.

SPEAKER_02

Here comes three, two.

SPEAKER_01

Wait, I need to find it.

SPEAKER_02

Damn it. Um, let me know when you're ready. I'll count you down. She will be transitioning from tennis in no no ready. Three, two. Here we go.

SPEAKER_01

The Italians had a fabulous weekend this weekend.

SPEAKER_02

From Cinner in tennis.

SPEAKER_01

From Sinner winning um the Miami Open to Kimmy Antonelli winning in Japan F1. Um, again, also breaking records. Both Italians are just breaking records as they're doing it. Mamma mia.

SPEAKER_02

Ciao Bella.

SPEAKER_01

Uh, Ciao Bella is absolutely correct. So Kimmy Antonelli is the youngest um driver as of right now to lead like their championship. He's also the youngest to ever have won back to back. So he won in China, he's now won in Japan. Um, and how cute it's center. Whenever Kimmy wins, he always kind of like does a little shout out to him.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, I've never known that. Oh, yeah. What does he say? Bez? Like Bezos, like the job?

SPEAKER_01

Like maybe kisses? I don't know. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Kisses Kimmy Italiano or Italian?

SPEAKER_01

It is yeah, Italia. Cute. Uh big day for the Italians, as you can see. That so that was that's and he's a big. So if you guys don't know, Sinner's brother is a massive F1 fan. And Sinner was in the finals in Rome, and his brother ditched the finals to go watch F1 instead. And he he called him out on his like speech. Oh, that's some shit like we've been doing.

SPEAKER_02

I love it.

SPEAKER_01

It's like, thanks for um everyone who supports me and my brother who decided not to show up to the finals that I've just won to go watch F1 because he's a fan. So yeah, I hope you had fun. It was such a good like it's so good. That's great. So that's my update on that. I also wanted to give you guys some other updates on F1. You know, Lewis was coming in third the whole time, so that was fun to see him in the mix. And then he ended up coming in sixth.

SPEAKER_02

That's not the worst.

SPEAKER_01

No, but of course he wasn't because that's podium.

SPEAKER_02

Wait, wait, wait. He was coming in third in Japan or in general?

SPEAKER_01

No, in Japan.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, yeah. Okay, that's not true.

SPEAKER_01

He was coming in third the whole time, and then do you know school like it was Kimi and then who else? Um, Piastri. Oh, yeah, okay. So the uh the Aussie, his he's been doing well, his car's been doing really well. He's been qualifying and doing really well, but like when it's actually on the day he his car, something happens, like in Australia. He's Australian, obviously, and his he couldn't even finish the race. So I don't know if he got into a crash, probably did. So that was kind of sad. So he hasn't showed up, but he's he was actually leading the whole race. And then um a safety car came out, and Kimmy even says it. He's like, because of the safety car, I got lucky. Um, and that's how he ended up winning. So it's Kimmy with Mercedes that came in first, McLaren with Piastri that came in second, and um Charles with um Ferrari came in third, and then poor George. He was like so close to charge, uh, to charge, to George to come in, but he came in fourth, fifth was um Lando, and sixth was Lewis. So this is the first race, I think, in three or four races, that um Max verstappen has not come on podium. I think he's won the past three Japan Japanese races.

SPEAKER_02

He's gonna he's like number seven. He's like throwing a tantrum and he's on his way up. He sure is throwing a tantrum so um you know who else was racing in a vehicle this weekend.

SPEAKER_01

Not me.

SPEAKER_02

Me. Oh I was at a fun little bar um for a birthday, and I was Mario Karting. And I don't think I have actually physically Mario Karted on like the big yeah, like in an actual like game, yeah, not just on a Nintendo, and it was so fun. Uh I snuck in in the last second and came in first, and I was obviously Princess Peach. Are you going to pull up the photo of me as Princess Peach? I w yes, I was gonna say I'm like, I should have done this before.

SPEAKER_01

Um is ill-prepared for the podcast.

SPEAKER_02

That is right. And I didn't think I was gonna bring this up as a little uh segue, but I am, and let me just confirm I did pretty well because we played two rounds um and I did fantastically, and there I am in first place. Oh my god, I know you're not there.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, this picture is actually incredible.

SPEAKER_02

How do I zoom out? Oh yeah. Oh yeah. There's oh yeah. Yeah, there's Yoshi.

SPEAKER_00

Can I bring there it is?

SPEAKER_02

Oh my god, there is Princess. Look at me, just like a little. I'm just like smiling for the camera, being the little princess peach that I am. Because Jeff was coming in first. Oh my god, I barely snuck in. Listen, Yoshi was on my tail. You gotta watch out for her. She's a she's a quick one there.

SPEAKER_01

Um, okay, so that's fun. How was it? Did you like being a child?

SPEAKER_02

It was great. It's just, it's yeah, games are always fun. Listen, I realized basketball, there's a hoop game.

SPEAKER_01

Little popcorn.

SPEAKER_02

Not that game. And it's like you know what?

SPEAKER_01

Elbow in and you just gotta keep moving.

SPEAKER_02

And there's no the basketballs are big, so sometimes you're anyway. You would have nailed it. Good at those. I was mediocre at best. Um Carl Brown is having a time. He is dead because he was also Princess Peach's at one point. Maybe we should pull up his photos while we're embarrassed. No, we're not gonna do that.

SPEAKER_01

This is not an embarrassment podcast. Speaking about embarrassing, where am I going with it? Uh you embarrassed us as the best golfer in the world, and everyone looked at looked up to him.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my god, the segues today are good. Um, but unfortunate news for the one and only Mr. Woods.

SPEAKER_01

Like, what are we doing?

SPEAKER_02

Here comes the mugshot, ladies and gentlemen. Because we are a visual pod. Unfortunately, if you haven't heard, our pal Tiger Woods was arrested in where everything beautiful does take place, where all the great stories of the come out of Florida.

SPEAKER_00

I messed that up for you.

SPEAKER_02

No, it's fine. Jupiter, the planet. Um, no, Jupiter, Florida, and just Florida in general. You know, you guys really come up with the best content for the pod.

SPEAKER_01

Remember the time that old couple in their 70s fought at pickleball and got arrested?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, they like beat each other up. That was also Florida. Of course, it's always Florida or Texas. We love you, Florida. We love you. Texas, please keep listening, like, subscribe, and make sure the big sure you stay in charge.

SPEAKER_01

Actually, you know, I'm a big Florida girl. So the biggest Florida girl.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, what do you want to tell us with this?

SPEAKER_01

So, number one, my question to you is. Should this be pub? Okay, first of all, um, what he's what something's going on with Tiger behind the scenes that he needs to get addressed and sorted. Whatever addiction or whatever pills, whatever he's on, he needs to seek help and he needs to sort it out. That's his personal business. But I think that when you get uh when you're in the public eye, not only aid that is a big deal, but two, when you um start hurting other cars or other people's property or or just other people, yeah, or but he didn't hurt the person. But I'm just saying so let me finish. So when when that gets involved, then of course society has an opinion and everyone's gonna give their two cents because now there's a possibility. Thank God, nobody got hurt. He didn't get hurt, and the person that car did not get hurt. So he's going, he's speeding quite fast, or he's falling asleep in cars, he's under the influence on my personal two cents. Like, we shouldn't really have two cents on someone's like thing, but I just think that he's had so many injuries that me, a small ankle break. That hurts. This guy literally almost lost his whole limb um when he had that crazy car crash. And so the medication that they probably give for treatment and to recover and for pain is extremely high. And so you hear about these addictions and things. And so I feel really sorry for him because he's going through some, he's going through something that he needs to sort out. His kids, it's really embarrassing to have your dad, who is the most famous person and like one of the most famous athletes in the world, show up with a mugshot like this. Like you're going to jail, bro. It's not like a it's not a small deal.

SPEAKER_02

I know, but he doesn't realize it. And the crazy thing is literally one of the top comments is this will be on a shirt in no time. And unfortunately, it is already on t-shirts. Have you seen it?

SPEAKER_01

No.

SPEAKER_02

If okay. Do you want to finish with where you're going?

SPEAKER_01

Okay. I so I feel sorry for his kids, especially because obviously, because of their father, they're also in the light. Um, for his family, he's lost his mom. So he's just, I think he's going through a lot. One of the best things that I read, remember Anthony Kim a few podcasts ago, I was telling you about, and if you don't know, Anthony Kim was um is a golfer, but when he was younger, he played with Tiger Woods, and they were comparing him to Tiger Woods, and he became addicted to drugs. He almost wanted to also, he also had a couple of times wanted to take his life, and he had this story where he disappeared from golf for 12 years, and then he kind of made a little bit of a comeback on the Live tour, and then he fell off. He like he was last in the tour, so he was off. Then he played this like one tournament which gave one spot to one player. He ended up winning that tournament. It brought him back into live, and then he won one of the biggest tournaments. Yes, absolutely.

SPEAKER_02

Great story.

SPEAKER_01

So it was a great comeback story, and he kind of said, like, F f you to all those people who didn't believe in him, who were kind of like all of the articles and people like engulfed digest and everyone that talks so much crap about him. And instead of lifting him up, just like bashed him. Yeah, you know, clickbait stuff.

SPEAKER_02

Sure, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So for me, I don't want to be the clickbait person and like talk a bunch of crap about him. But Anthony Kim said it best clearly, he's going through a hard time. He needs help, and he's like, you know what, one percent better at a time. And yeah, you're the you you were were the best athlete at that time, and you changed the game of golf for all of us minorities, men, women, kids, everybody. And you gave us you made it okay, and you gave us space in the sport. So you will forever be thanked and looked at in the many people's eyes as like the ultimate. But now I'm like, the human form of you is obviously a lot of karmic debt that you are paying out in front of us, and I feel horrible for that. But it's I just would like him to get the help, yes, do his thing. And what's the craziest out of all of this? The timing is the timing, can timing is never gonna be okay, but there is a golf course right beside Augusta. Um, it's called the Park. I did a YouTube video on it. Um, I think it's called the I don't know if it's called the Park. Anyways, he they re- Tiger Woods and his team redid that whole area because it wasn't like the nicest municipal golf course. And he's supposed to be opening that. And the Masters starts on the 9th, technically, that Thursday of April, but they usually do like practice rounds and stuff starting on the Monday, which is April 6th. So, what is today? Like in a week of the day.

SPEAKER_02

The 30th.

SPEAKER_01

So not next week, but the week after. He's supposed to be the grand opening. So not this week, but yeah, next week. Next Monday, it's supposed to be the grand opening and all of that of that golf course. He's supposed to be there to provide it to the you know, Augusta, to the city. And so, like in my head this morning when I was actually showering, I'm like, well, what happens to him now? He's not gonna show his face, he's fully embarrassed. Um, and so I that that's where my mind is. I'm like, he just needs to get the help.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, and you know what? Why don't we leave him alone? Yes, we all leave him alone by moving on.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, let's leave the guy alone.

SPEAKER_02

Let's just let's leave the people alone that are having a rough go. And this is the problem with being in the public.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, my like sorry, my question. Well, what you're pointing. Sorry, no, no, sorry. My question to you was should this be allowed? Should the world be able to see your mugshot? Like, do you think that this is okay?

SPEAKER_02

Sorry, the world should not be able to do a lot of things, especially when it comes to sports, celebrities, meet like all this. We do horrific things and fully show it like everything is now clickbait. We're showcasing everything, even just in Timberlake, the body cam footage is out. Everyone, it's like we shouldn't have access to that stuff and be able to see it and watch the people get humiliated or they're gonna make mistakes. Can you take the picture now? Yeah, we can we kill um this. Yeah, it's just one of those things where no, we should not. We know that, but there's many things we shouldn't do, but it's just become part of the society's made it normal, but I don't think we should. I think well, also there's different rules in different countries. Yeah, so in North America, you are allowed to take celebrities' kids' photos, which is crazy. But when you go to places like Australia, they love going back to the city.

SPEAKER_01

But also Europe and you can't know.

SPEAKER_02

You can't you can't take and which is rightfully so. That makes sense. Why are we why are we able to do that? And why, yeah, anyway. So that's what I'm saying.

SPEAKER_01

I'm a I'm a big uh like I truly believe that number one, none we don't need to see any of their mugshots. Number one. Number two, they had literally a press conference with the sheriff to tell us what's happened to him. Yeah, he's like on such a global stage that this happens, but like, do we need to know all of those things? Does it have to be breaking news that Tiger Woods um has hit another car, is going over the speed limit, and was he essentially denied to take the P test, um, which I think makes you stay in jail like longer because you're denying you have the right to deny it, but his supposedly the breathalyzer came out clear, so he wasn't um drinking, is what they're thinking. But like, why do I know all that?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. I shouldn't know any of that information. The time of too much information, we have too much of it, and so that's where it is. Actually, great little segue. So um in a time when we have too much information, we're all on our phones all the time, we're addicted to the screens.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, good one.

SPEAKER_02

Our friends, you like what I did there? Yes. Our friends, well, are they our friends?

SPEAKER_01

You're a hater and a lover at the same time, so you're confusing with this brand.

SPEAKER_02

Chick filet is absolutely known to be homophobic chicken. Um, they don't love the gays, but I love their chicken, so it's very problematic. The waffle fries are incredible. Oof, whatever I'm in or near a Chick-fil-A, I cannot. In the US. Yeah, there is a nutty in Canada. I can't resist the urge as a quote unquote vegetarian to pop in and get a spicy chicken burger. You get a spicy chicken burger with the waffle fries and a nice tea. Anyway.

SPEAKER_01

Well, you just a vegetarian who's casually having a chicken burger, they hate gay people. A gay guy going in. I mean, the amount of insanity in your brain right now.

SPEAKER_02

That's crazy. But guess what you're doing? But okay, this is this is also an interesting little um segue to the next thing, I think. They are not okay with the gays. I know that, but I'm still going in there and supporting them. Yeah. Okay. Because I can't, my taste buds can't resist it. What they're doing right now is they are offering people free ice cream if you put your phone away.

SPEAKER_01

I like it.

unknown

Great.

SPEAKER_01

I'm all for it. It's so easy for us. I love nothing more than to put my phone away.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, especially, especially during dinner time and when you're eating and not having the phone around is is really nice. Do our best. Um, yeah, I think we're pretty good at not.

SPEAKER_01

I like that. It's a small win. It's like, yeah, you know, you weren't probably gonna get the dessert. You you probably well, most people, I don't know if they get the ice cream right after the people are going in for the chicken or the fries and stuff. They're not really necessarily going, let's go to Chick-fil-A for an ice cream cone.

SPEAKER_02

So this is a great way for them also to give people a little taste of what and for someone like myself who has a sweet tooth, I mean, this is a real treat. Uh, how I guess, yeah, you'd have to go lock your phones away somewhere, right?

SPEAKER_01

No, they would just put it away. What is it? Place phones. Oh, right, here we go.

SPEAKER_02

In the coop.

SPEAKER_01

In the coop, enjoy your meal together and let a team member know when you're finished. Everyone at the table will receive an ice cream ice cream ice cream cone as a reward. Okay. Uh grab a coop. Uh grab a coop on your next visit and and take the challenge.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

What the hell is a coop?

SPEAKER_02

It's shy. A coop is like where the chicken is.

SPEAKER_01

No, but how are what is it for them?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I don't know. It's probably just an aircraft. Your phone up. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, like exactly. It'll probably be like family baskets on the cell phone challenge.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, okay. So this is so easy. Give me the free cone. I'm with this, bro.

SPEAKER_02

I do love. Can you go back to that picture? I do love go back. Yeah, how did they take this photo? With an iPhone. With a phone. There it is. But um could be a camera. Sure, yeah. Anyways, great. That was fascinating.

SPEAKER_01

That's smart. I like that.

SPEAKER_02

Speaking about No, I want to quickly go into so okay. They're not supported, supporting me as a human being and are doing some things, you know, good old Shak Philly, not ideal in terms of the gay community, and it's a well-known fact. But a lot of people are they Christian? Yeah, very they're close on Sundays. Sure. You didn't know this?

SPEAKER_01

I knew they close on Sundays, but you don't know why.

SPEAKER_02

Super Christian. Um and then we also I'm curious to know what people feel about when there is an artist or a place that they like a music artist that they really like listening to, but they the artist is problematic, or a place like Chick-fil-A, which is probably can be problematic. I am segueing over.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, I was gonna segue the other way.

SPEAKER_02

Which way?

SPEAKER_01

I was gonna say they're Christian. So do you want to know another record that got broken?

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Oh, you were gonna talk about sports again? Oh, Christian. Okay, go ahead. You can segue.

SPEAKER_01

This is my segue. Okay. So I don't know if you guys know because I actually didn't know this number. But after 1,400 years.

SPEAKER_02

What is that even?

SPEAKER_01

Like we don't know.

SPEAKER_02

No.

SPEAKER_01

Long time ago. Our ancestors' ancestors, the Church of England has installed a female.

SPEAKER_02

Not installed, Shine. They would have instilled, would they have not? They installed. It's an installation. This is where I'm ESL.

SPEAKER_01

We both are, but just let me finish.

SPEAKER_02

They inside a female.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. We're now I'm screaming. The Church of England has a new, has a female Archbishop of Canterbury, former nurse, um, and is now a spiritual leader of 85 million people globally. So obviously, Prince William and Prince Princess Kate were in the front and center. She's the 106th Archbishop to take her ancient seat. And you can just see if you are watching the visual, she seems so overwhelmed and happy. She's in gold. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So what you're telling me is she has 85 million people following her globally. So she has slightly a few more people following her than you do. Um, with your global audience.

SPEAKER_01

With my global reach.

SPEAKER_02

That's right. Oh my god, Carrie Tribble is on.

SPEAKER_01

Carrie Tribble, let me tell you, 1,400 years ago, um a woman got installed. She we 1400 years, you guys. It took us 1,400 years to have our first ever female archbishop. Is that how we're saying this? Archbishop of Canterbury, the first female Archbishop of Canterbury. 85 million people follow her. That's incredible. Speaking of breaking records.

SPEAKER_02

Terry Tribble is who I will always follow. She will be my archbishop, and she is the ultimate queen bee. Terry, love you forever.

SPEAKER_01

Thanks for joining the pod.

SPEAKER_02

She is our sunshine double Florida mom.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Absolutely. Breaking records, Miss Tribble. Please let's transition to No, we're just talking to Miss Tribble.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Go ahead. Oh no. That was my question. Does she want to know about it?

SPEAKER_01

But people need to know.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. I didn't realize Kanye West had come out with a new album. Uh we all know that he is extremely talented. Uh Miss Tribble is sending us hearts. Oh my God, right back at you. And Ms. Tribble, the issue here is we love Kanye. We think he's very talented, but he has said some very problematic things, which are not it. And so to the point where, you know, he got quote unquote canceled. Adidas dropped him billions of dollars lost for the brand. Um, and he came out with an album a couple of days ago, and 50 million streams on Spotify is no small number.

SPEAKER_01

50 million first day have listened to his album called Bully.

SPEAKER_02

And so that's kind of one of one of those things where it's interesting.

SPEAKER_01

I was gonna um look at the comments, and they said he was cancelled.

SPEAKER_02

Right, it's just fascinating to my point earlier, where it's like, how do you Chick-fil-A? Yeah, I love Chick-fil-A, but they don't really support me and my people. Kanye West has been has done some really very racist things, and but people are still like, oh, but he's so talented. So one of the interesting things is I teach spin. I've started teaching spin again, and there are a couple of artists we cannot play at the studio, and he is one of them.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, they've told you as a few. Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, he we can't play his music.

SPEAKER_01

How about Michael Jackson?

SPEAKER_02

I just I love MJ, but I don't. Chris Brown, absolutely not.

SPEAKER_01

Again, it's a no from them.

SPEAKER_02

Well, I just don't want it to come up for people where they come up to me after and they're like, hey, this person is not ideal. They've done horrible things. Why are you? I don't want it to come up for people. Okay, so it's just better not to. But those three guys alone make incredible music, but incredible spin music.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, right.

SPEAKER_02

Like that Kanye's like albums for spin are in I have played so much of his music previously when he was pre-problematic. And his classes would sell out and do really, really well. So it's tricky. Okay, I'm still not going to.

SPEAKER_01

Speaking about Tiger Woods and being unwell and on the drugs and doing that, it and people making mistakes, and Anthony Kim doing the drugs and coming out and you know, chant kind of changing his life. So we do know that Kanye West also has like mental health issues. So what obviously what he what he has said in the past, you can't take that away. But if somebody has a disease or a mental health issue, are we kind of giving them the grace if they are now taking the medication and getting better and giving them space? Or is it if you say something and you know someone has an issue, we just cancel and move on and never look at them again? Like I got Yeah, yeah, sure.

SPEAKER_02

But I think he's also said things that are so horrible, it's very tough to I think a little bit later be like, hey, I, you know, we know that I'm yeah, like, hey, I'm okay and or I'm better now and I'm sorry. I think a sorry is really tough after certain things are said in a public platform that is literally harming people. Other people, yeah, all communities, like literally, like, yeah. Anyway, so we won't get it, we won't get too much into that. A little fun fact uh that I learned this week in spin is I taught two classes, and the first time ever for me, both my classes were interrupted. One with a phone call and one with a FaceTime. Now, super quickly, I put my phone on do not disturb. If you have an Apple, if you have an iPhone, you have a do not disturb feature. I put it on DD. The phone call still came through. I don't know if you know this, but if someone is on DD and you power call them twice in a minute, it pushes the phone call through. So if you're doing an important presentation, if you're somewhere important and you need to make sure the phone doesn't ring, apparently people know this. If they power call you, they can override the do not disturb.

SPEAKER_01

You need to drop the friends power calling you. What is the point of that?

SPEAKER_02

What do you mean you I need to drop the friends?

SPEAKER_01

Like drop the people that are. I need to block them. You need to be like, if you do this again, we're no longer faster than that.

SPEAKER_02

I just learned that they can do this. I didn't know that it was that you could override the feature. Also, am I gonna drop our brother? He's the one that FaceTimed me and it stopped the music in my spin class. He didn't mean to, and I also didn't know if FaceTime call could go through when you're on DD.

SPEAKER_01

He's learning a lot about technology today.

SPEAKER_02

You did not know that. There's no way you were on DD and I never put my phone on DD. Shy, your phone is on DD all the time. I now know I can power call you and override it because you literally putz around and you just have it on DD. What are you talking about? No, no, no. You're the queen of D.

SPEAKER_01

I think my phone just puts it like right now, it's on work because I have it blocked off that we have a meeting.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, great. The podcast meeting. Of course it is. Just a fun fact: people can override that DD. The hot tip is put it on airplane mode. I think that doesn't let it go through. Okay, I'm done there.

SPEAKER_01

He is off his soapbox. I'm gonna hit you guys with a few golf things, which um let me hit you with a few tennis things really quick. Ronaldo. Do you know who Ronaldo is?

SPEAKER_02

Yes. Ronaldinho.

SPEAKER_01

Ronaldo.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, Ronaldo. Brazilian, I imagine. Uh uh a football legend. A legend. Um and what's he doing on the tennis court? What the heck is he doing on a tennis court? Oh, wait, is are they playing with the meta glasses? Yeah, they are, because you could okay.

SPEAKER_01

Ronaldo. I mean, thank God. You said Ronaldinho, which is two separate people, both Brazilians.

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Um, number 10, but Ronaldo Ronaldo. Like incredible, absolute legend in football, soccer. Yeah, he's he's a big tennis guy. He's been coming to the Miami Open, I would say the past like three or four years, and they just did like a little feature with him that it it's out, it's out is that is that he's the bank's name.

SPEAKER_02

What I just want to say in that video, he kind of comes into the court and waves around to the fans, but then you look at the video, there isn't a single person in the crowd.

SPEAKER_01

No, he's just a winner, but you know how we all do that. Like, thank you, thank you. So that was a fun little thing on tennis that I forgot to mention. Yeah, he's really nice and humble, man. Nice guy, nice guy, nice guy, humble, nice guy, insanely, insanely incredible footballer. Like everyone was wearing the Ronaldo jersey. Okay, and Carlos just casually bought a night, another nice guy, very nice boy.

SPEAKER_02

Nice boy. Nice boy. When you talk about these people, like we literally are friends, we know them.

SPEAKER_01

How about uh Carlos bought a casual yacht? But why is he doing a photo shoot for it? Well, of course, it's probably paid, right? To do it.

SPEAKER_02

So they just they paid him and they just gave him a yacht, most likely. No, he got a discount. He for sure got he for sure got a discount.

SPEAKER_01

Um, so he kind of talks about how it's like where he wants to obviously escape. He loves the beach, he loves the water. Sure. In Spain, where he grew up, the beach is really close. Something for him and his family and his friends to come together and like reunite, like unite when in his off days or in between tournaments. And Rafa was the one that kind of inspired him to buy this specific sunreef yacht, which I just find the whole thing really funny.

SPEAKER_02

I love when my friends inspire me to buy a yacht. Um that's the goals.

SPEAKER_01

Those are the goals we should be like that's goals. I'm here for look at this yacht, though.

SPEAKER_02

If you are watching the yacht life, yo, I'm there, Carlos.

SPEAKER_01

What's up?

SPEAKER_02

Oh, that's a nice little fit. The nice little pants. Can uh who? Why can't he get someone to just figure his hair out? He's got a full head of hair and it's great hair. Why can't they just anyway?

SPEAKER_00

You need to move.

SPEAKER_02

We love Carlos. Carlos, invite us on the yacht, please.

SPEAKER_01

My brother will figure out your hair boy. My brother knows a guy that's an incredible hairstylist.

SPEAKER_02

And he's had to log off because he's literally had to go cut hair. He's he's He was here for the first half of the pod. Okay. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Now let me hit you with like a another fun, great golf story of a great golf story. Um Gary Woodland, this gentleman right here, as you can see, these stats are pretty impressive. So he went through a brain lesion, which I had to Google what a lesion was. So um essentially in your brain, you can get like dizziness and fatigue and all that. It could end up being a tumor. Um, it could be like a lot of things that can come out of a lesion. So he had they had to go in, they had to cut out whatever it was. So think about having like brain surgery. And oh three, you come back to uh the tour um like four months later, and then essentially two years after that, you win a tournament. It was like a it was a really big deal, and it was very emotional. And I just like love these kinds of stories of people that just don't give up. And on that note, I saw one this morning that I fully had like boo-hoo-hoo tears.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my god, you're crying first thing this morning.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I was I was very annoyed at the fact that I was crying, but it was this one. Um, so this young girl named Savvy King, she's a soccer player.

SPEAKER_02

Also, let's talk about the name.

SPEAKER_01

Great name, great name. Um, and she played for Angel City FC. So she a year ago essentially, I will have the link to this down, but she was playing in the back. They pass her the ball. She kind of feels like she sits down, as you can see on the screen. She gets up, she doesn't know what's going on, she like repasses it to them. She's kind of grabbing her ankle, then she's just laying down, then her teammates um show up, like come up to her, and the goalkeeper was kind of like, I just saw her eyes roll back and was like, Okay, I think I've just she just died. Like, she's like, I literally think she just died on me. So obviously they call somebody on, and this is the direct that they're like medical director, and they whenever you see them do like a fist up in the sky, which means that they need the physicians to come on, like actual doctors. That is so now people are beelining it on the I've just talking, they're beelining it on the pitch, and now you can just tell SOS parts are coming on, other people are coming on with like the stretcher, they have an oxygen tank on her, like the whole thing, and you I it's actually so scary and so sad to like just see this whole thing go down. You know, other um people have died on the pitch, like football players have actually died on the pitch. An Arsenal player had died a little while ago, like pre-my time of working there.

SPEAKER_02

Are you trying to give me like the nice stories? What's that?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so then she's gets she wakes up, she's had an open, like a hard bypass because she was born with a heart with her blood, was like going the other way or something through her heart or they were trying to explain that. Anyways, she just came back, she did a recovery, eight months of recovery to do that. And you know, when a hard when you have a hard bypass, you have to have that pillow, you can't do much.

SPEAKER_02

And she only eight months later, she's back on the pitch. She's back on the pitch. Savvy.

SPEAKER_01

She's calling herself savvy 2.0. Oof. How incredible is that story. You know, those are the comebacks that we just love. Like, good for the human race for doing that. And then the last two little golf things I want to leave you with. Remember, um, if you guys didn't know, a few episodes ago we were telling you about Oh my god, these these meetings the players tournament.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, yes. But also, can we just talk quickly? Like, also make sure.

SPEAKER_01

But wait, let's explain who they are.

SPEAKER_02

But like so gifts moving around has really got me cracking. Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_01

Sudarshan, he is a Canadian, um, he's an Indian-Canadian golfer. He was born in India but grew up in Canada. Um, and he watched YouTube and learned golf through YouTube with his dad.

SPEAKER_02

This is the YouTubing, the guy that learned golf through YouTube watching your YouTube videos.

SPEAKER_01

Incorrect.

SPEAKER_02

And now he's gone on to win something.

SPEAKER_01

You know what? That'd be so fun if you watched my YouTube videos, but he's, I think, a little, very little like younger to us. So like the past six years, he wouldn't have watched it. Anyways, he watched YouTube with his dad, and that's how we actually learned golf, which I just find the whole thing amazing. So he watched obviously Rory and Tiger. And so at the players, he tied for fifth. And then in this tournament that Gary Woodland just won, he tied for sixth. So now, so what happens is just like in tennis, you have points at the end of the year, and the and the players that have the most points, the top eight players, play each other for the trophy. So in golf, it's a similar thing, it's called a FedEx Cup, and you get points. He's currently in 27th place.

SPEAKER_02

Wow.

SPEAKER_01

In the world, you guys.

SPEAKER_02

So I'm learning golf from YouTube. So this is a thing.

SPEAKER_01

It's a thing, and I'm just so excited about it. Of course, he then must have had lessons and gone, like, you know, put in the time and done all of that.

SPEAKER_02

Is his first name longer or his last name longer?

SPEAKER_01

Last name looks like it's longer.

SPEAKER_02

Last name is longer.

SPEAKER_01

Yellamara ju. That's how I would say it. Yellamara ju.

SPEAKER_02

Can you say his first and last name quick?

SPEAKER_01

Ready?

SPEAKER_02

Three, two, one. Suddarshan Yellamara ju you are a pro and let's on ESPN. She is ready to take it.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so my brother obviously wants to talk some talk about the memes. If you are not watching, there are two people who have put some, I'm assuming it's a Punjabi, uh, like maybe he's a rapper or whoever. And he's kind of doing like the pangra, and he's just so excited to have like it's so good, actually. I love everything about that. So I wanted to bring that highlight and then the last plug for myself.

SPEAKER_02

Of course, please.

SPEAKER_01

Remember, okay, so I do um these things with the LPGA where I give golf tips. I give golf tips. We look at professional LPGA tour winners from the previous year. We see what they've done really well, and then I give like a little three tips on what they do so well as you as an amateur, go try it on the golf course. So Hyoju Kim, which we had a hard time. Hiu Juju Kim. Yes. We had a hard time with Hyoju Kim's name. Yes. So Hiuju Kim won last year's Ford Championship. As most of you know, I have broken my ankle, I'm in a boot, I'm on crutches, and now I have to do a video for the LPGA. Um, and actually, we should just Oh my god, you should show the video.

SPEAKER_02

We should tell them that we went to a golf course locally to film this video.

SPEAKER_01

Hopefully, you're watching because this is he um putting off the fringe.

SPEAKER_02

So Shine is giving golf tips. Yeah, and you can hear it, but you are talking about my face will show up in a second. Like the talking head shows up.

SPEAKER_01

Here's a talking head.

SPEAKER_02

Actually, it's not even a talking head. This is the full face. Oh, here's my face. Yeah, this is your full face. Okay, back now is a talking head. You were on crutches. Crutches. A boot. A boot? We're pretending like she's not on any of those things. Correct. And the rain came in.

SPEAKER_01

You guys, I had my hair straightened like this.

SPEAKER_02

And started pummeling down and just sniping her out of the room. It doesn't even look that bad. It does. But you can see the rain in the back. You can actually start seeing the rain in the shots. We and you have to kind of like memorize these lines. Like this is this is it's you have to say that where it the location of the tournament.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it was like a lot of the preemptive stuff. When I do YouTube, I just look at the camera and I start talking because I'm I just know what I want to say. But this is kind of like acting in a way where you have to say where the tournament is, who's playing, who won, where was the pre-lines are memorized.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, memorize to memorize the lines.

SPEAKER_01

And when the rain kicks in and the hair's flying, the my ankle is now killing me.

SPEAKER_02

You can barely stand because you've got a boot and I'm there freezing.

SPEAKER_01

What about him, the camera guy?

SPEAKER_02

What about me? What about me?

SPEAKER_01

Freezing. Me. He first of all, he has two ja uh a fleece, a jacket, and something else on. I have to wear a thin long sleeve because it has.

SPEAKER_02

Pretending that it's summer.

SPEAKER_01

It's summer.

SPEAKER_02

It's freezing cold.

SPEAKER_01

And he's cold. What about what about me?

SPEAKER_02

We almost gave up.

SPEAKER_01

We almost did, but I wasn't willing to.

SPEAKER_02

We went inside. We warmed up because we'd lost all sensation and feeling in our hands and limbs. And you're like, we'll come back and do it tomorrow. And I said, guess what? The weather I think is worse tomorrow. I said.

SPEAKER_01

And I said, I'm going to the washroom, tying my hair up, and appointing to our doing this again.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Hioju Kim and then. Heoju Kim. Yes.

SPEAKER_01

The name got me for a hot second. But how about the whole point of this segment is Hioju Kim just won back to back the Ford Championship.

SPEAKER_02

Wow. So that is Hijo Kim.

SPEAKER_01

And she also just won the previous tournament, too. So Hiju Kim is on fire, and she was in the finals with Nellie Corda. Oh. And last week.

SPEAKER_02

Our great friend Nellie Corda, obviously.

SPEAKER_01

And the Korda siblings. Yes. We did last week we did a full uh thing on Sebastian Corda. He's engaged. Nelly's engaged. There's siblings. And then they have an older sister, Jessica, who was a child and she's back on Twitter.

SPEAKER_02

And they're dominating tennis and golf.

SPEAKER_01

They are. Siblings. And their father also was a big tennis player. Yep, exactly.

SPEAKER_02

And mom was too, I think.

SPEAKER_01

Yep. Leslie on two highs.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. What are your highs?

SPEAKER_01

Um, remember we're talking about fees is abs. Well, this is ab workout really quick.

SPEAKER_02

Wait, stop. Uh Samantha is like now Coach Cheyenne does the poor working conditions.

SPEAKER_00

Correct.

SPEAKER_02

Samantha. I always have the worst working conditions, okay. But in this case, yes, Coach Cheyenne did, but I was a part, I was adjacent.

SPEAKER_01

He was fully in warm clothes. I was, I don't even have to explain this.

SPEAKER_02

The working conditions, Samantha, are just sometimes they're rough on the table. It is tough out here. Yes. And this is a thank you. Thank you, Samantha. Acknowledging that I too have very tough working conditions. Okay, you wanna Okay, so that was feed.

SPEAKER_01

That was kind of fun.

SPEAKER_02

Show us an ab workout?

SPEAKER_01

Well, this is the one that he's doing. Obviously, I'm gonna try it because have you seen his abs? This is the hardest one he's playing. Yeah, okay. So that was my highlight there. Um, another fun thing is Zidane is uh gonna become France's head team coach, which I think that's really but that's interesting.

SPEAKER_02

Zidane Zedan? Is that his full name?

SPEAKER_01

No, Ziadine Zedan, bun. Um, anyways.

SPEAKER_02

Shy, come on.

SPEAKER_01

That's his but Zidane is first of all, you and soccer, I can't even, but he is a um he won with anyways, he's really good. Remember the one year the Italian had said something in his ear about his mom or his sister? Remember many, many years ago when we were younger, and we saw um in the finals of a World Cup, it was Italy versus France, and you would have you would have heard this. Some Italian came and talked shit about him and his like mom and his sister, and I think he headbunted him and got a red card and they lost.

SPEAKER_02

No way. But like, listen, don't talk about my mama like that.

SPEAKER_01

Exactly. What the hell? Or you should say, or your sister.

SPEAKER_02

Or any of my people. I will headbutt you. I mean, to be fair, I would never headbutt you with this pretty head because like I can't afford to, you know, hurt this. But I'll get somebody else to headbutt you.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, and on the next high, I just need to leave everyone with this. I hope you're not.

SPEAKER_00

You're finding like funny.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. So this one I had to say because I just found that like so fun. Okay, there's a guy in the middle. He has his do we know these people?

SPEAKER_02

No, no, no, no.

SPEAKER_01

Random, random people just like loved every second of it. There's a guy in the middle, he has a bandana across his eyes so he can't see. Okay. He has an iPhone and he has about four or five friends in a circle.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

And the goal is the guy in the middle that has the bandana that can't see. He's just supposed to turn in a circle and keep clicking his iPhone. And your job is to dodge him out of taking a picture of you. That is the still frames of people trying to dodge him. Like I just it's restarted. Okay. So if you're watching, please watch this guy on the right, though he's trying to dodge people trying to dodge the this is absolutely a game that straight men would only be playing.

SPEAKER_02

Like, do you can you see yourself playing this game?

SPEAKER_01

No, but it's so funny to see them doing it.

SPEAKER_02

Of course. Yeah, this is a complete straight man game out there. I mean, I'm I kind of wouldn't mind trying it.

SPEAKER_01

It's just funny to see what you look like when you're trying to dodge a camera.

SPEAKER_02

Exactly.

SPEAKER_01

No cameras, please.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so on that note, this is the conclusion of our podcast.

SPEAKER_02

SPEAKER_02

His fiance's listening, our brother's not listening, he's not engaging with any of it. He's not what is he doing? And I'm like, he's literally living his best life. So leave the man alone.
