SPEAKER_00

Happy Monday, you beautiful people. Happy Easter Monday. Happy Easter Monday, you beautiful people. I hope you've had a fabulous Easter with your friends, family, or just chilling if that's what you'd want to do.

SPEAKER_01

And are continuing to have a long weekend because for many people it's a long weekend. It's Monday. We're working, but it's a holiday.

SPEAKER_00

I know, but like, is it really for people?

SPEAKER_01

It is for many government workers, not in the states probably, but for many government employees, for many people, it's a long weekend and people take it off. It is when Jesus makes a comeback. Monday is when he resurrects, I'm pretty sure. He takes off Friday, good Friday. He's like, This is a good Friday. I gotta go. And then he is chilling for the weekend. And then he's like, just kidding, I want more. I'm coming back. So he makes a comeback.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, anyways, I haven't even done the intro and he's talking about Jesus.

SPEAKER_01

I just wanted to, Jesus, I just wanted to tell you about Jesus.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, and then welcome back from the sidelines with Coach Cheyenne and my brother Bauman, who's on a random tangent. He's back. And um, anyways, I hope you guys have had a wonderful weekend. Today is all things masters. Can you see? Can you see the masters? But I can't wait to show you. We had to take the background off to just show you the amount of merch I've piled in this corner. Because today I want to talk. Um, for those that might be attending or for in the future, hope to attend the masters. I wanted to tell you all the no before you go. The merch you should buy, the merch you should not buy. I hope they don't X me. Um, also, how early to get there? What's up with the chairs? Are we sharing chairs? Are we buying chairs? What you should wear when you're going there? I'll tell you.

SPEAKER_01

You can buy chairs.

SPEAKER_00

Correct. You can buy chairs. So I will explain all of that to you in a second. I also, if you are brand new to our uh podcast, welcome. And uh last on Thursday, I explained to my brother what Anwa was. And now is hot quiz time. What does anwa stand for?

SPEAKER_01

I was gonna say fun fact the whole point of this podcast is I don't know anything. And she brings me on to get my reaction.

SPEAKER_00

No, to educate you too.

SPEAKER_01

Sure, that too. Anwa.

SPEAKER_00

Anwa.

SPEAKER_01

Annual.

SPEAKER_00

No, but remember it's A-N-A-L.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so where do where do they play? No, where do they play? Augusta A-N. Augusta National W Women's A. What group Association.

SPEAKER_00

No, what kind of group of women play? Is it professionals or amateurs?

SPEAKER_01

So again, Anwa is Augusta National Women's Amateur.

SPEAKER_00

Bam! He wasn't listening, but he was listening. So that happened because I made a whole reel he has the merch. He's ready. Um that took place on Saturday. Uh, the the one round that I'd explained to you guys last time, which is where uh they actually get to play Augusta National on Saturday. So who won?

SPEAKER_01

Why are you yelling?

SPEAKER_00

I'm just excited. Who won? How would I do it? I literally don't even know what the tournament is.

SPEAKER_01

How would I know who won?

SPEAKER_00

Maria Jose Marin from Columbia, 19 years old. She won. That's incredible. She goes to the University of Arkansas and she's a junior. So I'm just like so excited for her and her family.

SPEAKER_01

It's crazy. You could just be in high school or in college, but you could be in high school. Correct. Yeah, there's some. And you could just win a tournament and win how much money did she win? Do we know? Do I need to look it up?

SPEAKER_00

You need to look it up. I don't think they win money because amateurs are not allowed to win money in golf. Only pros are, but I feel like that's gonna change. I have seen a few things because when we when I had gone when I went to college, you didn't have NIL, which is what um the players now in college make money. When I went to school, you weren't allowed to make money. So Yeah, you couldn't.

SPEAKER_01

There wasn't ways of doing it.

SPEAKER_00

No, like you you if you made money, you had to be a pro. Like you were out of it was illegal, like it was illegal to make money.

SPEAKER_01

You're right. I just checked. And they don't receive prize money, but it gains massive career boosting versions.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, of course. It's huge. It's like you're winning a really big tournament. But yeah, so there was actually, I think, a 15-year-old or 14-year-old Canadian girl who also was so the Canadians did pretty well um in this as well. Anyways, I want to bring that because we'd done a whole big thing about it last week on Anwa, Augusta National Women's Amateur. So Maria Jose Marin, congratulations. It's a massive, massive accomplishment. Um, you know what the Jen's ears are doing?

SPEAKER_01

What are they doing?

SPEAKER_00

I mean, this is how men's kids are.

SPEAKER_01

Is this how they're clapping these days?

SPEAKER_00

I swear, I was on a call. No, that no, so off topic. Off topic, no wait.

SPEAKER_01

Someone clapped on a call like this for you?

SPEAKER_00

Stop it. Let me explain the story. I was on a call, and um we I was saying something about, you know, women's golf, whatever, like made da-da-da. And I'm not gonna say it was a girl guy, but one of the other the gen uh Gen Zier on the call with her CEO. I just saw in the background just doing this, and just give me a head nod. And I thought it was incredible. It's like I'm taking it. I I know you are. You're gonna run with this. I was giving Yeah, no, but you gotta do one hand. Okay, so we will talk masters. I wanna give a quick sports update. Do you want to quickly do a tennis update for everybody?

SPEAKER_01

Sure. Uh, Houston took place, uh tournament in Houston, and our boy Tommy Paul won the turkey.

SPEAKER_00

I'm excited about that.

SPEAKER_01

Uh, I didn't realize until I Googled that he, because I didn't see it, that he saved three championship points.

SPEAKER_00

I didn't see it either, so that's really cool.

SPEAKER_01

Amazing.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Um score, yeah. You want to put it up? Oh, we are such, we say this every time.

SPEAKER_00

We're no only you say.

SPEAKER_01

I only said it's we're a visual pod. Everyone, we love a visual moment. There's a picture. Look at Tommy looking young and fresh. He beat Bucharga. Anyway, he lost a second size 6'3. Baruchika. Done. And in the last set in the tie break, he was down, I think, 5'3 or something. So yeah, he was down 5'3 in the third set. Yeah, he well, he he had three Baruchika had three championship points at one point and he got them. And this is what Beruchka looks like. And there was he looks pissed. And in the women's side, um Charleston, our Gal pal, good friend of the pods, good friend of ours, uh, just an all-around Jessica. Star can wait to hang with Can't wait to hang with her again. Jessica Bagula wins Charleston for the second time. I don't know if you're 6'2, 6'2. Yeah, she had a good match. How do you say that last name? Star Steva. Staro, Staro? Staro Divisvitiva. Anyway, listen, our last name is also a nightmare. Dubseva sounds better.

SPEAKER_00

Staro Dubseva.

SPEAKER_01

Yes. And so guess what? She won her second Charleston. Charleston? Charleston. Charleston, yeah. I keep wanting to say Charleston. So it's a blow, um, like a blown glass trophy. So it's glass it's glass, it's beautiful. Um, and Pagula said that her last trophy that she won. Did it break? It like fell off, and she watched it happen in slow-mo in her room where it like fell off the table and landed in the suitcase, but the top is chipped off. It's chipped off. So she's happy to have a new one to kind of like place beside it. She goes, it's not bad, but she's like, it almost completely smashed into pieces, and she's shocked that it did not. So gotta be very careful. How do you take that back? How do you take that back? You gotta like bubble wrap it. It's stained glass.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I mean, she has in her carry on, probably.

SPEAKER_01

She's flying private. She's for sure flying private. What are you doing? Well, she's got her own jet, it's fine. So that is what I have on the tennis update.

SPEAKER_00

Yep. And what I'm really excited about is Monaco should be it's clay season, everybody. If you did not know in tennis, it's clay season. Coaching is ready. It's already happened because they're both played in clay. That's right. But we're now headed to Europe clay season. So I am here for all the Europe clay season. What's happening here? Monty. Monty Courtney. That is next. There's Cinner doing just this is like fun, obviously. Little uh rallies that they have going on. So all everyone that was playing over here in the States. Yeah, well, everyone that's not playing in the States will now head over to Europe and now clay season the diehard.

SPEAKER_01

Are you saying it's time for a European summer? It's always time for a European summer. We love a European summer.

SPEAKER_00

Speaking about um a European summer, but mostly April, um, for our diehard fans who love to see us bicker twice a week, uh I'll be headed to Europe in a couple of weeks. So I will be in a different time zone. I think maybe one of the podcasts I'll have to bump up like an hour earlier, but he will know about it in advance. But you can just also listen on your favorite podcast when it goes live. So that's tennis updates. We love a good We love a good tennis update. Um, any other quick oh, I wanted to give you guys a quick update. Um, for all my soccer fans out there, football, champions league. We're back restarting the Champions League. The top eight, their matches will now start this week, which I'm very, very excited about. Um, obviously, yep. I hope that now I'm kind of hoping that Arsenal and PSG move forward because I'll be in Europe, London, and Paris the time where hopefully they make it to the next round. So if I can catch a Champions League match in either one of those cities, extra.

SPEAKER_01

Big, big, big, big snaps for you.

SPEAKER_00

That'll be incredible. That'll be fun. So that was my update for you all on um a quick soccer update, as you would say. Arsenal, of course, could not pull off an FA Cup. They lost to Southampton in the quarters, maybe, or the semis to Southampton and the FA Cup. So remember, I told you that Arsenal had a chance to win four like cups.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Well, we've already botched two of the four. So now our only hopes are Premier League, which we are on track for, and our and Champions League. So, I mean, it's gone from four to two very fast.

SPEAKER_01

Possibly, okay.

SPEAKER_00

So the the team needs to regroup, kind of get that umph back into them. Um, so yeah, that's also happening all simultaneously. Before I make this a very long master's pod.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Do you want to quickly share the other news that you have? A little spicy stuff that I see down here.

SPEAKER_01

Well, what is on my spicy agenda? I see a little K. Oh, Kanye. Listen, I don't want to give it much. I just think it's interesting, you know, how we're all canceling people, and we everyone knows Kanye said some pretty crazy things for the last while there. But he also then proceeded to come out with a new album last week. It did very well on the streaming platform.

SPEAKER_00

You were saying some crazy numbers 350 million.

SPEAKER_01

No, no, he did 50 million in a day, like streams on the album. And then he also proceeded to perform at SoFi Stadium two sold-out shows, 70,000 people.

SPEAKER_00

80,000, I read. Or it's a property. This is about 80,000 people, sounds like is what exactly.

SPEAKER_01

And yeah, it was the have you seen pictures of the stage?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I'm trying to pull that up for everybody.

SPEAKER_01

All right, it's like an earth-looking thing. No, no, no. No. Yeah, yeah. Go keep going. Lauren Hill.

SPEAKER_00

Lauren Hill?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Of course, Lauren Hill popped over.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, so are we Is he cancelled or is he not canceled?

SPEAKER_01

Well, clearly, not if 140,000 people in two days showed up um to watch him perform.

SPEAKER_00

But what I saw this morning was that Pepsi and another brand. Here we go. Pepsi drops wireless festival sponsorship after Ye was booked as the headliner.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Um, and then this morning I saw another company also pulled out, uh, I think an alcohol company had pulled out what is the case.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, sure, sure. But so here's my question.

SPEAKER_00

Someone else is just gonna swoop in and do it. Again, a lot of companies, um they stand when it's like, yeah, you're you know, you're being racist and you're doing all these horrible things. And then when all of a sudden it kind of like fizzles a bit, there's enough time that people have just like let pass, and now they're like, right, so we're just gonna quickly make money off of you too, because you have just proved to us that you were canceled, but you weren't really canceled.

SPEAKER_01

Because if 140,000 people are you're canceled for some, but there's still this much.

SPEAKER_00

A massive population is kind of happy to close that eye or not look at that side and look at you in a different way. Yeah, keep the yeah, there's more than enough people willing to do that and spend their dollars where if a massive con if a massive festival like Wireless is now like happy to make him the headliner, they just know they're gonna make so much money off of him that sure Pepsi's gone, but they'll find somebody else that will provide like anyway.

SPEAKER_01

I'm just shocked that it was that sold out. He made basically it was like 18 million in sales per concert. Um tickets per day. Yep. Tickets up top were you know 125 to 150. But then on the next show, because of the demand and the surge, the tickets went even higher.

SPEAKER_00

Like I read somewhere that it said that when he said that he was, and I think he did it like overnight, didn't he? Like he gave everybody like a week or something to show up to his concert. Um, I read somewhere that it said that a million people were trying to buy tickets to his concert, and then he did a second day.

SPEAKER_01

Right. That makes sense.

SPEAKER_00

A million people, of course, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Anyways, let's leave that there.

SPEAKER_00

So that's interesting. Um speaking about canceling, I know we'd spoken about like Tiger Woods and the stuff that he's going through, and I brought it up that at that time as well. If people are going through their own mental health journey in the public eye, and yes, they're doing inappropriate things, um, are they allowed to get second chances? I think that's a good thing.

SPEAKER_01

I think it just depends on how crazy you've been.

SPEAKER_00

But if you have mental health, you you clearly don't have the control over your mind to be seeing the thing about it.

SPEAKER_01

But you can also get medication and get help and figure it out. You can't say the things he said and do the things. Shy, he I don't I don't want to go back and say what he's gonna say, yeah. But like it was insane. You you can't you can't do that. That's a hard all right.

SPEAKER_00

What other hot topic do you have? I see oh, we went to this, we went to go on a fun light topic. We went to go and see Mario. Oh my gosh, galaxy.

SPEAKER_01

Grab that, grab what little Mario.

SPEAKER_00

Um, so we went to go. I don't really watch movies and theaters too much. I usually fall asleep through everything. So this is from Japan. I got this cute little, I guess you put credit cards or changes.

SPEAKER_01

You put your transit stuff back in the case. I usually did, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I put my Suika card in here, and it's just the cutest thing. Anyways, we went to go see Mario number two, second Mario Galaxy. What did you think?

SPEAKER_01

I loved it. I loved it, it was so fun. I loved how much of the game they portrayed in this movie versus uh well, they just say, yeah, they it's it feels gamified, but I I mean it's just very it's it's cute, it's perfect.

SPEAKER_00

I think I think it's appropriate for all ages.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah, they make it for really for adults, like they make it.

SPEAKER_00

I know it's for it's it's mostly very nostalgic, I think, for the millennials. Like for us, because we grew up on N64 and Mario and playing it, the old Mario 2.

SPEAKER_01

We don't even know who Rosalia is. Like, we don't even know all these characters, which people still continue to play. And yeah, we know Peach, we know the classics, but we don't know Rosalie. Yoshi was in this one, which was fun. I don't think Yoshi was in the first one. Um, anyway.

SPEAKER_00

It was great. It was fun. If you have a chance, obviously wait for it to come on whatever streaming platform. But it was fun to see. It's fun to see.

SPEAKER_01

It's a fun one to watch in the theater.

SPEAKER_00

In the theater. It was light, fun, and in a time like whatever's going on in the universe right now. It's definitely a fun one just to like escape and just be your childhood self struggle.

SPEAKER_01

Speaking of Galaxy, here's a segue. Um, didn't this wasn't there a space launch? Yes. And a lot of Googling is when I typed in because a friend of mine was talking to me about how do they poo in space.

SPEAKER_00

Oh my god, Miss Bay Nas Baram J.

SPEAKER_01

Welcome to the live. Yeah, welcome to the pod, uh, baby bay.

SPEAKER_00

And baby bay.

SPEAKER_01

And being honest, do you know how people poo in space?

SPEAKER_00

Um I actually don't.

SPEAKER_01

I'm here to tell you, okay? Um, astronauts use because I had to go because when you type in space when in Google, when you literally type in how do astronauts, the autofill goes poop in space.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. And the answer is astronauts use specialized vacuum toilets that rely on airflow instead of water to manage waste in zero gravity. They secure themselves to a seat with straps, right? Because you can't be floating around. And the toilet suction pulls fecal matter into a storage container. The soil waste is then vacuum sealed and often disposed of by burning up upon atmospheric re-entry. It's burnt up.

SPEAKER_00

What do you mean?

SPEAKER_01

It's sucked. It goes in a bag or it goes through it through a suction system.

SPEAKER_00

It isn't, they don't throw it out into space.

SPEAKER_01

I think our I think the astronauts shit is literally flying. And it might just land on the past. It is burning up upon when it's like re-entering. So there's a lot of shit in space, is what I'm learning.

SPEAKER_00

Correct. Look at the big images. Pretty cool.

SPEAKER_01

How regular would you be in space on space food?

SPEAKER_00

What is space food?

SPEAKER_01

It's like in packaging, usually. Oh, right, but do you know what it is?

SPEAKER_00

You just make it up. That's it's a look at how beautiful that photo is. Do you um how do you know it's packaging? What do they actually get to eat for food there?

SPEAKER_01

We've been I've been to in Houston, I've been to NASA, yeah, and it's all packaged food.

SPEAKER_00

Oh. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

What are you talking about?

SPEAKER_00

Kind of like they're in the military. Yeah. No, packaged food, but then they open it and there's a way of making it hot.

SPEAKER_01

No, it's it's packaged. It's literally like they're eating out of packages.

SPEAKER_00

I'm gonna find out.

SPEAKER_01

They don't have a microwave in the house.

SPEAKER_00

I'm not talking about microwave. There's a way sometimes when you open some of these things, they naturally become hot, and there's this technology out there, bun. You don't know. Anyways, these images are absolutely big.

SPEAKER_01

And they are eating packaged food. They're not, yeah. Anyway, that's what's happening up in space. Uh, what is happening down on earth? Uh oh, hi, Sean Brew. No, Sean Bru. Oh, that's Sean. Hi, Sean. I thought it was Sean. Hey, Sean.

SPEAKER_00

Miami. Miami papi. There he is.

SPEAKER_01

Um, so yeah, Sean Brew just saying that there's a lot of shit floating around in space. If you uh, I don't know if you caught that or not. Um Coach Shy.

SPEAKER_00

Just FYI because I know I'm right. They're eating shrimp cocktail, chicken, curry, and vegetables.

SPEAKER_01

No, they're not.

SPEAKER_00

But specially packaged for microgravity. What do you mean? Most food is f oh like free. Freeze dried, re-rehydrated and heat sealed in and heat sealed in pouches to prevent crumbs. Anyways, they definitely tortillas are popular. Water is injected into the pouches, pastas, soups, eating. It becomes warm. I know they have this new technology where the food becomes warm. So you should just always trust me when I'm telling you these things.

SPEAKER_01

Last week you told me someone was inst a woman was installed in the church. Uh and now this week you're telling me that they are eating tortillas in space. You know what? I'm out.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, you don't know.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know anything. Uh do you know Coachella is next week? Do you even know?

SPEAKER_00

I did not know that.

SPEAKER_01

Do you know who's headlining Coachella?

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_01

Canada's very own Justin Bieber. No, but he's got stuff. So like he's tried to do this before and then not shown up or not really gone through. So I I if I were Coachella, I'm pretty sure they probably have backup plans.

SPEAKER_00

What do you mean he didn't show up last time?

SPEAKER_01

Well, he's done it. Well, yeah, he's not fully the most reliable fella. Uh, but there's also Sabrina Carpenter and Carol G, who we a while. Cool. Um, so yeah, that's happening next weekend and the weekend after. But yeah, Justin is the headliner.

SPEAKER_00

I also just need to let you know I'm back on the space bandwagon.

SPEAKER_01

Shrimp cocktails.

SPEAKER_00

No, no, yeah, correct. Coffee, tea, and juice are in uh in powdered forms, re um hydrated in pouches and consumed with a straw. These people, they're fine up there. Salt and pepper. Are provided in liquid form um to prevent from floating particular particles because we don't want floating particles. Um foods like nuts, cookies, and granola bars require no prep. Heat processed foods, packages, and pouch. Literally says fish curries to stay fresh.

SPEAKER_01

They're having curry up in space? Correct.

SPEAKER_00

The astronauts are well fishing.

SPEAKER_01

Are these brown astronauts?

SPEAKER_00

Maybe. But you know what? Who doesn't love a curry? You don't have to be brown to love a curry. All of England loves a curry. Hello. Um, okay, we are off topic and we are back.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so astronauts, that's how they put in space.

SPEAKER_00

And they also get to eat just fine.

SPEAKER_01

That's right. Coachella. Um, also over the weekend, I don't know if I showed you any photos, but I was um grabbing a coffee with a friend, and the Back to the Future car was right outside the coffee shop. And so I had to Google because I'm like, how many of these are there? And there are 150 plus replica cars. Of the really? Yeah, we've never watched the-you haven't watched the movie, have you? No, I've never watched it. But I literally have photos of the car that was outside the coffee shop over the weekend. It was very cool. And obviously, there's tons of people lined up taking photos of it.

SPEAKER_00

Um what why are they so obsessed with this car?

SPEAKER_01

Because it's a pretty cool car. I think it takes you back to the future. I don't know. We should really watch it. I remember very own Michael J. Fox. Yeah. Not just Canada's own. Vancouver's very own MJF is in the movie. No, Shy, that was literally the car, like identical. Yeah, if I show you photos on my phone.

SPEAKER_00

But if you think about it back in the day when we were kids and the doors, like these Tesla doors, I guess, or butterfly doors, or whatever you call them, back in the day would be the coolest thing in the world.

SPEAKER_01

And you've got like this thing, and like you've got all the yeah. So it's like even if you click on that picture with the guy inside, right? I feel like maybe people have got this kind of car and even recreated it.

SPEAKER_00

What are you talking about? Which picture?

SPEAKER_01

Like the man that's in the front garage. He's like in the front, you know. It's like, yeah. So it's very much.

SPEAKER_00

That's fun.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

But we I the only thing I know about back to the future is when we were younger, we went on the ride. It's a universal.

unknown

Probably.

SPEAKER_00

Back to the future.

SPEAKER_01

I don't remember it, but yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, yeah, we do. Remember, it was so jerky.

SPEAKER_01

That makes sense.

SPEAKER_00

Like, if you like whiplash a bit.

SPEAKER_01

That does make sense. Yes, we did do that. Um, yeah, so that's that's mine. Those are those are those are hot takes.

SPEAKER_00

Those are hot takes.

SPEAKER_01

Are you going to just take us into full?

SPEAKER_00

I'm gonna take you into master's mode, but before I do that, I can't let me bring my master's mug. I just quickly wanted to double check from all my saved items for you. Oh, here we go. This is the Pagula. Oh, Lego. This is her trophy.

SPEAKER_01

It's glass.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, it's beautiful. Look at her hair, too. Go Pugula.

SPEAKER_01

You're looking good. She's looking great. She had her little dog last time, too, I think, when she won.

SPEAKER_00

That's great.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Change of very cute.

SPEAKER_01

Cutties. The Lego commercial. Has everyone seen this Lego commercial? What is the budget? The here, the budget breakdown. Speaking of, it's literally right here. Oh, right here. Also, do we think these numbers are real?

SPEAKER_00

Well, we're just gonna put an asterisk because nobody really knows. But 7.2 million dollars to make one commercial. They did it did break the internet because it was incredible if you have not seen the commercial. But Cristiano Ronaldo Messi, and I wanted to ask you, but it do you know?

SPEAKER_01

I recognized his name is Mbappe.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I recognized him. Do you know who he plays for? It was France, was it not? I d I don't know the name of the.

SPEAKER_00

You don't know him? No. Crazy. Do you know who he plays for?

SPEAKER_01

No. France.

SPEAKER_00

No, he's not. The other one plays for France.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, he is Brazil. Thank God. Oh, I literally.

SPEAKER_00

The only options were that, but yes.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know. I just said that. Wait. Okay. I learned Messi's Argentina and Ronaldo's Portugal. I'm killing this whole thing. I am no.

SPEAKER_00

You know what?

SPEAKER_01

Snaps for me. Crazy. Jen's ears. My brother doesn't know. The commercial is very cool. Lego.

SPEAKER_00

I don't think this number is correct. You think that Vinny Jr. is getting$300,000.

SPEAKER_01

No, those things. This is the thing with the internet. You could just make everything up. You could literally make up the numbers. So it's like, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Renault, essentially, if you are listening, Ronaldo, it says, made$3.4 million. Messi made$2.00, let's just say$6 million. And then Bebe made um$800,000. And Vinny Jr. made$300,000. There's no way those both of those guys are.

SPEAKER_01

If I were doing this and I wanted them all to be on the commercial, they'd all be getting the same number number. That's how you do that. So it feels fair. Because how does one feel? Oh my God. Scroll like click on.

SPEAKER_00

I just want to show them if they haven't seen it because obviously it had saved.

SPEAKER_01

You want to show them the commercial?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, really quick. If I can. If I could find it. Yeah, I thought I had it saved for the people.

SPEAKER_01

You may have just liked it. Because I think it popped up for me because you liked it.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, really?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Go back up. Higher. Oh my God. The Chris Jenner story, that's so freaking good too.

SPEAKER_00

Which one?

SPEAKER_01

Right there. Okay.

SPEAKER_00

No, no, no, no. Don't sidetrack. Let's show them. Okay, so if you have not seen um the Lego commercial, you need to go and show up. Just hopefully shows up in your feed now that we've spoken about it. Number two, they made a behind the scenes version of the Lego commercial, which I was, I love that even more than the actual commercial because you got to see behind the scenes. And you guys, it was AI generated. I was actually insane. Devastated. I was so devastated that I'm like, there is lit, there's are you sending it to me?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I've I've popped in our save folder. In the save folder. Oh, it's right in there. Okay, great, cool.

SPEAKER_00

Here's the commercial as I'm talking. This is the first one.

SPEAKER_01

But does the audio work with it?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, but like that's okay. This is the actual commercial. So Ronaldo, you have this is Vinny Jr. Who this is Ronaldo for Vinny Jr. for Brazil. This is obviously France Mbpe. And then they're spinning the table. They have the last piece of Lego, and they're like, who's gonna win it? And of course, it dropped messy in the whole thing. And now, I mean Lego absolutely crushed it. So they have a little miniature version of themselves, and that's supposed to go on top of the World Cup, and they keep spinning the table. Um, and it's just really well done. It's really, really, really well done. Anyways, you guys need to see that. I want to try and see. Did you can you find the one that is the the BTS? So you would just type in like BTS Lego, maybe.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. I mean, that is crazy.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, maybe that one, click that that it's fully fake. It's and the only reason why I was a no.

SPEAKER_01

Now there's like so many different versions of it.

SPEAKER_00

It's that one. Oh no, keep going. No, it's not that one. Um the only reason why I thought that it could be real.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's real. Yeah, it is. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Send this to me. The only no, the only reason why I thought it could be potentially a little bit fake. This sounds really bad, but Messi's nose is a bit off in this commercial. And that was the only reason why I was like, wait, he looks a bit strange. Like profile Messi looked a bit strange. And so this is this is the A, you guys, this is an AI version.

SPEAKER_01

If you're watching, it's fully yeah, they make it seem like there's a whole behind the scenes thing, but it's not oh no, this is not a good one because oh, right.

SPEAKER_00

The butt the Oh, that's there's I guess different versions of it now. The the original one that I had seen from the from the one of the main guys who's actually on this commercial who made this, he had done an incredible job of the BTS. Um, but it was AI, and it just threw me for an absolute spiral. So then obviously, what happened to the rest of the stuff? Everybody else, they went into this AI tennis mode. So this is Alcaraz Center. I haven't seen this one actually. This is for the French Open.

SPEAKER_01

And again, I was an idiot. What I thought this was a thing. Uh, because I was like, right, okay. They also Lego is now launching a bunch of them. So until someone's like, oh, it's fully digital. But then you, if you pay attention, it's because they replace the outfit, it's the same, it's the face, like this is Ronaldo. Oh so it's the same face.

SPEAKER_00

Someone said I recreated this concept using AI, swapping football legends for tennis stars like Carlos, Yannick, Zurev, and it says even fees in it and Djokovic, but I don't see oh, there he is. Yeah, so it's like bringing intensity flair to the whole thing, creative experience. So we won't so do you think now they won't actually need to have the actual players come to any of these commercials and they'll pay them like a um a fraction, like a fee for using their likeness, but they don't ever have to bring all of them together to bring them in the same room and spend all these crazy dollars. That's gonna be the the new the new way of doing commercials.

SPEAKER_01

I think you need to get to um the Chris Jenner story super quickly. Saved. Go. Um, essentially, what's going on is Chris Jenner is now a full symbol for manifesting wealth. Um, and just like full abundance in China. They are they they have photoshopped or AI'd her face onto everything, and they've put it on their phones, on their computers, on their desktops. It's everywhere, and it's really making me giggle. So we need to find Chris Jenner faces. I need to actually start manifesting Chris Jenner wealth and CEO level status as well in success.

SPEAKER_00

But here's my question is a drama come with the wealth? Because I don't want that.

SPEAKER_01

I know I think we're all just I think everyone in China is manifesting just the good things that come with Chris Jenner. The big big deals, the money, the the status, the the the all of it. And so I do love this book. I mean these photos are so good. And you know what? I think even Chris Jenner's commented on some of them, going, like, keep going, sweetie. Like, of course, she's gonna play into it knowing that her face is being plastered with possibly a billion people and all over social. Like, this is her dream come true. I just love that Chris Jenner is uh having a full thing. So maybe we photoshop. I need I need to get some Chris Jenner photos. Oh my god, click on that one right next to it. We talked about the story. If you're on Thursday. We talked about the story on Thursday at the tennis tournament. Which one was it? Miami Open? Yes. Yeah. One of the content creators noticed that a bigger content creator literally photoshopped her face onto her image. Her image. So then this is her image. This is her image. So then this guy.

SPEAKER_00

Oh my god. Yeah, continue. So they already botched that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and then so then this guy is a comedian, I think, or he's like popular online. He just as a joke took his face on the city.

SPEAKER_00

Miami open memories.

SPEAKER_01

It just popped his face on there.

SPEAKER_00

That's actually super.

SPEAKER_01

Which is hilarious. Do you want to close that anyway? It's just so funny. Okay, now you can go into golf.

SPEAKER_00

I just wanted to quickly tell you this is um Maria, Jose Mar.

SPEAKER_01

Look how the 19-year-old.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, look how cool. Oh, she's so from Colombia. Look how great the Azaleas look.

SPEAKER_01

Beautiful.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Augusta National is absolutely thriving and looking so gorgeous. So this is where it's tiny. Yeah, I'm sure golfers, I mean, golf, you don't have to be huge tiny.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, fair, you're but you're quite tiny and you'd be swinging out swinging the boys.

SPEAKER_00

Absolutely. That's what we do these days.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, speaking of golf and the masters, get ready for the merch, everyone. Coach Chan loves nothing more than merch.

SPEAKER_00

I love nothing more than merch, especially masters.

SPEAKER_01

Big fans of Masters merch.

SPEAKER_00

We we spoke about so from now until the end of the show.

SPEAKER_01

I thought if you go so from now until the end of time, we will talk about merch. Shy, you've got a bed full of merch. You need to really get crack a lack in here.

SPEAKER_00

Before we start, I would just like to let everybody know.

SPEAKER_01

I'll grab the merch. You tell me.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. So if you have the privilege and the honor of going to the masters, to Augusta to watch, there are a few things you have to know before you go. Like they're a must. What are some of the things? You have to wear extremely comfortable shoes. The reason why this year, unfortunately, I will not be able to go is because if you don't know, I have fractured my ankle. I'm out of a boot. I am She's in rehab. I'm in rehab, but the ankle hurts so much just doing even like a lap around the neighborhood that I had to make a big girl decision and say, what is my ego on the side? The masters will always be there. My ankle for the rest of time for me is gonna be really important if I want to go just around the world and play and just to be able to move. Yeah, walking is a privilege. I need everyone to know that. Ever since I fractured my ankle, the basic things of life I that we have taken for granted forever. Just walking. Wow, I swear it's an absolute privilege. So I'm taking everything, just being thankful for everything. So I put had to put all of it on the side and say, this year is not the year that I'm gonna go. But we get to do cool things like this, like doing the podcast. I'm from the sidelines, sharing all the hot tips with you. So, number one, as cute as your outfit will be, and you will put effort into it if you're going, because that's what people want to do. You have to wear the most comfortable sneakers in humanity to go out there. And the hot tip with that is make sure they have some type of like waterproofing around it. And don't wear a full white sneaker like I have done in the past, because they will come nice and brown and muddy by the end of the day.

SPEAKER_01

Is the master's muddy?

SPEAKER_00

It's what happens is you just don't know. In the morning, any golf course has like dew, wet grass. So, and there's a lot of wet grass because it's a lot of walking. So your white sneaker will have that wet dew, and if it's not waterproof in the front part of it or anything, that wetness is coming into your socks, and you're just gonna have wet shoes the whole day. That's the most frustrating, annoying thing you ever want. I have been lucky to go many times to the masters, and every single year without fail, there's been a torrential downpour, at least one of the days where they've actually had to shut the whole venue down and you have had to go to the parking lot, sit and wait until the lightning or the thunderstorm stops.

SPEAKER_01

So Augusta's temperamental.

SPEAKER_00

Augusta be temperamental like the rest of us. And so, because of that, I want to just give everybody a heads up. Because, like, if you're coming from Florida, it's so nice and warm and you're like, oh, it's just Georgia, it's not that far. No, no, it's a whole different sphere over there of a cloud coming over top and you're torrentially down. And so I every year actually take layers and take waterproof jacket with me every single year that I go, and I've had to use it every year that I've or and what I'm hearing is a black, almost waterproof sneaker, right? Yeah, like people want to look, people want to dress up and look really cute. Like you'll see very like, because you're in Georgia, and most of the people that have access to these tickets um are generational, so the southern bell vibe is heavily there. So the long, like summer dresses and stuff, so they're not gonna wear a black sneaker underneath that, which I understand.

SPEAKER_01

That's for the peasants, they're going straight to the suites, yeah. If you're like because we've done this at different times.

SPEAKER_00

No, it's not they don't have suites there.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, they don't? So where's the bell of the ball going?

SPEAKER_00

She will be sitting on a on her own chair like everybody else, and or she'll have like a hospitality area that she can go and watch in, but then she's not on the golf course itself. Okay, so let me explain. If you are paying a pretty penny for the hospitality area, then you don't actually have access to watching the actual golf. You're watching it on TV and you're in full hospitality eating all the food, and you're never like in sight of play, you're on watching it on TV. Okay, but at some point, everybody has to come out of that suite because they you're there, so you'll want to watch at least something. Um, so that's one portion of it. But no, ever regardless, everyone has to do a lot of walking. Just to get into the entrance is a lot of walking. Okay. It doesn't matter who you are. Yes. Okay, so that's the first part. Extremely comfortable shoes. If you don't have hospitality, make sure you take layers with you. Do not try and think your outfit's super cute. The cold will get you, so will the rain. So, what other people say is like, oh, I'll just buy something at the pro shop. The lines are so long, and you think everyone else isn't trying to do what you're trying to do, which is buy something at the pro shop, or buy something in the shop, of course they are. So, my first advice if it's you've only had ticket to one day, you show up in the parking lot at 5 45 a.m. So you and your slumber and sleep.

SPEAKER_01

There's no way.

SPEAKER_00

But you need to do it between 5 45 to 6 30. If you want to enjoy the full day, you show up at the parking lot. The great news is parking is free. The masters do do a lot of really cool things where they do provide three or four free things for you. I have done about seven YouTube videos. Merch to buy, free things to get out of the masters. Know before you go. So if this is too much for you, I'll have all the links below. Watch it or share with the people that are going. So you show up with comfortable shoes, you show up with layers, and then what do you do? You first thing you walk and you stand in the pro shop line to buy your merch.

SPEAKER_01

It's time for show and tell, everyone. It's time for show and tell with the merch.

SPEAKER_00

Every year I go, I try and get a different kind of mug. She goes. We showcase your mugs.

SPEAKER_01

So much merch.

SPEAKER_00

But hold on. Everyone does.

SPEAKER_01

We love it.

SPEAKER_00

The merch. So these are the mugs. They this is from one year, this is another year, and then I have an another mug which just says masters everywhere. This is what you were seeing last episode. This is the goblet. As you bring them close. So see how this is shorter and wider, this is longer and narrow. So it just depends on what you want. So that I always come back with a mug because it's always fun to have a mug. Then what I do is there's so many mugs. There's so many mugs. Okay, so what I do is I will always from the parking lot go and stand in the merch line. Does not matter how long that line is, you get your merch done early in the morning and then it's just put away in the back of your head.

SPEAKER_01

You don't have to carry the merch, right? They can store the merch for you. Did I already Yes? Because in a lot of the tournaments, you don't want to grab it first. I mean, you want the good stuff, but then you're carrying it like an idiot all day long.

SPEAKER_00

I will show you the merch in a second. But the amazing thing about the masters is they've thought everything through. They have probably an insane storage unit, which is why you go to the merch store first. That storage unit gets full. And when it gets full, what are you doing? Carrying those bags around Augusta National is not a fun experience. So you have two options. You put again, storage free. So buy your thousands of dollars worth of merch, because that's how what you'll end up doing. You go to the next line, it's fast, it's super fast, and you store it, you get it a little ticky, you put a little ticky in the pocket, and you're moving.

SPEAKER_01

Tiki tacky.

SPEAKER_00

The the second thing is you can get it shipped directly to your house. So you will see a lot of people actually buying all the stuff and getting it straight away shipped. Yeah. So I tried doing that in Canada, and it was stupid numbers of dollars to get it shipped.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, you tried getting them to ship it to Canada.

SPEAKER_00

So I asked them, and the numbers were dumb. So I said, I'll be using your storage, you know. Thank you so much. They'll be physically dragging it all. I'll be putting it in my carry-on bag and paying for my carry-on bag luggage for overweight. And um, so if you're American, highly recommend just get it sent to your house. They do all the wrapping and packaging and all of that for you. Smart. Castle-free, highly recommend.

SPEAKER_01

Wait, have you been to any other tournament that does this?

SPEAKER_00

Not the mail it, no.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_00

So I love it. They they, I mean, it's a well-oiled machine. They have absolutely crushed that part of it. The one thing I will tell you about mailing it is sometimes like somebody else comes to mind while you're watching. Oh shoot, I forgot a hat for so and so, or oh shoot, I forgot XYZ.

SPEAKER_02

A mug.

SPEAKER_00

A mug for so and so, but like when it's mailed, then it's just mailed. I guess you can then just have that one item and you can bring it home.

SPEAKER_01

But if you're doing your big shop and you're thinking people are going in with like a big shop. So, how do you do it? You're going in with a list. You have to go in with a list, but how do you have a list?

SPEAKER_00

Not on your phone.

SPEAKER_01

Because no phones are allowed at the master's. Oh my god. Piece of paper. Back in the day. Back in the day. I had Did you see people with pieces of paper? Oh my god, you care.

SPEAKER_00

No, no, no, no, no, no, no. This is like my little master's box. Where I have like all like every year I come back to this box.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_00

And this is what I would suggest that you do. You go to the merch stop shop straight away. You buy this little lanyard thing. Because what they require you to do, you can't look cute there. You have to have this is your ticket for the day. You have to have it showing somewhere.

SPEAKER_01

Why?

SPEAKER_00

Because they require they want to see this. You haven't just snuck in. No, no. This is it's a keepsake. It's beautiful. Every day has a different um ticket. And so this, let's say, is 2022. Let me show you. Okay, this was 2025. So it's different every year.

SPEAKER_01

Fair, but don't you think a wristband would be easier for that?

SPEAKER_00

So no, they want people to keep these. These are memorabilia.

SPEAKER_01

I can keep the wristband.

SPEAKER_00

Anyways, they don't have it. Don't listen to Anna. Yeah, what the hell? He's just not listening. You put your ticket in here. So straight away you haven't. Because remember, if it's raining, that I just told you it rains every year. You will need to have it somewhere.

SPEAKER_01

And this, every single person But guess what would still do well in the rain? A wristband. Moving on.

SPEAKER_00

You have this. So now in here, you what else do you just slide out of the pod. Yeah. You know what?

SPEAKER_01

And off I go.

SPEAKER_00

I escape so I can talk to the people that are going to the masters. You have your ticket. So when you're in the merch shop, this is a highly, highly recommended item you buy. And I have my box, so I take this every year. I have my ticket. I have the schedule for the day. Who's teeing off? At what time? Where are they teeing off? Because guess what again? You can't have your phones. So how do you know what time? Okay.

SPEAKER_01

And you know, and Termy.

SPEAKER_00

What time is your favorite player teeing off? Well, you need to have this piece of paper. And most people, how many things are you going to shove in your pocket? So, you know what? You just keep it neat.

SPEAKER_01

I now get it. I get the point of this.

SPEAKER_00

Clean. You have the tea times. Guess what? You should also have business cards. Oh I don't have business cards, but guess what? I have stickers. So sometimes I give the sticker to people, and or I they don't know how to spell my name, or I tell them about YouTube. And you have to have Can you bring a little bag in? Yep, you can bring a bag in. A pretty decent sized bag, actually.

SPEAKER_01

And it has to be see-through, right?

SPEAKER_00

Uh no. They let you have like a like a bag that's yeah, a solid bag that's not see-through. I had a pencil in here. You know those little pencils that we use at golf courses? Yeah. Pencilmasters pencil that you well, no, I just have like a regular pencil that you would use at a golf course. I have that in here, and I have a piece of paper in here. So when you've met somebody you're sitting beside who's really cool, who you have a great time chit-chatting with, um, and you are just like, you know, want to share information. Guess what? No phones. So you actually have to either write their email down or write their phone number down. So you must have a piece of paper and a pencil with you because how good is your memory? I'm not sure. Maybe it's great. But I that's just what I have at all times. So I have my little pencil in here. Sometimes I write their information on the, you know, where the the the tea times, um, and then I or I give them my information. So you you meet really, really amazing, very cool people. And then what you also get is this little QR code. And what is this QR code? You get to take a free photo in front by a professional photographer in front of the clubhouse. Yeah, and so you get to take a picture there and they give you the QR code. And by the time you leave um and you go home or wherever you're going to your Airbnb, you scan it, and there's a beautiful photo of you. Do you not have the photo? Did you not have tons?

SPEAKER_01

I know, but do you not have the photo ready for the pod to show the people of the phone?

SPEAKER_00

I don't have it printed, unfortunately. But if you go on my website, you'll see like a million of them of me. Um, so then you also don't want to lose that because like how are you gonna get your photo? So you have to have that in your so this pouch, I'm telling the people the hot tips.

SPEAKER_01

They thought it through.

SPEAKER_00

Well, you have to buy this. I think it's like ten dollars. Okay. Um, and then you know, every year you kind of add your little pins to it, your memorabilia. And I just have I just have all the chotch. I have all my chotch in this little folder. So if you it's your first time, you're standing in line for the merch shop, you are buying yourself one of these. You're also potentially buying the chairs, they're only$30 or$35. Highly recommend if you have access to bringing it or bringing it back to your house. It's such a fun picnic chair. I have brought two back to Canada because they're just so good. And previous years that I've been to, I've also not bought the chair. I want to talk about the chair because I really love the concept. Okay, they're little picnic chairs that you sit on. Yeah, and they're they're in a sleeve, so you can carry it. It's perfect. You pick your favorite hole, you go plop your chair down, and you have either like a ribbon or something on your chair because all the chairs are the same.

SPEAKER_02

All right.

SPEAKER_00

So you have a ribbon or you have your business card, or like you saw my coach Cheyenne sticker, I would stick that on the back of my chair. And so you know exactly where it is in a sea of the same colored chairs. And what happens is let's say I'm on the first T box watching somebody play, but my chair is on the third hole or the fifth roll.

SPEAKER_02

I've rolled it off there.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I've put it over there. Okay, you, stranger, walking, and you're like, I just want to sit and watch a couple of these guys coming through play. You plop and sit on anybody's chair. It does not matter. That chair is yours that you've bought, but at that time, if you're not physically at that hole, it's a communal chair. So anyone can sit on anybody's chair.

SPEAKER_01

You're seeing anyone's ass and be in that chair.

SPEAKER_00

Correct. And all that happens is let's say I come back to that third hole where I have my chair, and a stranger, aka my brother, is sitting there. All I do is just tap on their shoulder and be like, hi, I'm back. And that person just gets up. Oh, great, lovely. Gets up and either finds another empty chair, or sometimes they like walk away, or they'll stand behind you. I love that tradition. The masters is filled with so many traditions, and for me, I just love that. It's so communal. You know, the next thing you know, you sit beside that person because the chair beside them is empty and you have a great conversation, you're doing small talk. It's so, so nice. It's really, really lovely. It's one of my favorite things. I met I've met so many people just by doing that.

SPEAKER_02

Right.

SPEAKER_00

Um, another thing that you get for free, obviously, is a spectator guide. People love to keep it. It is does have like a lot of information about the different holes, um, which people love to read. And it just has like while you're waiting for someone, it's a fun thing to just have a map, which is extremely helpful to tell you where all the restrooms are, where all your snacks are. And then there's two shops that you should know where they are. Because again, so much walking, so much walking. And the scale and the depth of the slopes and the hills is so unassuming on TV. It's so much more aggressive. It's like you're climbing a little mountain.

SPEAKER_01

It requires some actual like strength and stamina.

SPEAKER_00

Yep. Um, so I brought a bag tag um to you can have on your golf bag. I've I have that. I buy pins every year to add to my hats or to my collections. Um, I bought one year, I bought the like what would you call this? The I guess yeah, the magazine from that year. And and the reason why I bought it is because it's the 86th Masters, and why would I have bought that?

SPEAKER_01

Because you're born in 1986. You know, she's just not all beauty out here. There's also some brains.

SPEAKER_00

There's so many brains.

SPEAKER_01

Sometimes it clicks, and most times it doesn't. For you. For me.

SPEAKER_00

Mostly. So that is what I have in this box. Okay. So I go through this box, I open this box. The box. Yeah. Once a year I open the box, and then I remember, oh, I need to take this, I need to take that. Now let me show you some other fun things before I show you this digital camera.

SPEAKER_01

This, ladies and gentlemen, is a digital camera.

SPEAKER_00

For all of you Gen Zers who don't know what this is. This is the only item you are allowed to bring inside that's considered technology at the Masters. No phones. If you have a watch, like one of your i what do they call it? What the watch is called? Apple watches or a digital watch, you have to disconnect it to all things internet. So you have your watch, they'll check. You have to disconnect it. If you decide to pick it up and talk to anybody, like it's game over, you're kicked out. So you bring your digital camera. Only allowed to use your digital camera Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. That is it. Those are the practice round days. So on tournament days, which is Thursday to Sunday, you just come as you are. Pretty, bright, excited. Nothing, no camera, nothing. You're not allowed to bring any of that starting Thursday. Tournament day is Thursday onwards. They will make you put it in a locker. If you're Ubering, ride sharing, or you've brought your phone with you because you need to bring it. Um, once you scan your ticket, you then enter the grounds. On the left-hand side, as soon as you enter, it'll say cell phones or mobile phones. You put it there, they'll give you again a little ticky, ticky tacky. Tiki tack. And again, because you have your lanyard, you will put that in there. If you lose that, which I'm sure people do, they have like a uh they'll probably ask you what time did you enter, and they'll go through all like the packaging and stuff to do that. Don't lose it, just put it in your thing. So you'll get a ticket for that, you'll get a ticket to get your free photo, and then you'll have the big sheet of paper which tells you who's playing at what time the T-sheet, which you'll also have in there, and then you'll have your the lanyard will carry your actual ticket to enter. So a lot of little little bits and pieces that you need to have in there, which is why I recommend that you have that. Now, the merch, the actual.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, you're wearing one of the hats. There's so many hats. Let's see your hat.

SPEAKER_00

Let's see yours. Oh, where is my hat?

SPEAKER_01

Oh, it's right here. I love my hat.

SPEAKER_00

So I didn't think like my brother would like. First year I brought him a blue hat.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So first year I brought him the blue hat. He loved it. Then I was like, okay, and then I brought him, bought him the yellow hat. This one has the year.

SPEAKER_01

The yellow.

SPEAKER_00

This one has the year. This one is just the logo, no year.

SPEAKER_01

Love the year on it.

SPEAKER_00

Do you?

SPEAKER_01

I do. I really I also like this type font. I like the green on the yellow. I just realized when I grabbed my hat, I was like, oof, it is dirty. I need to.

SPEAKER_00

So there's many different kinds of hats. This one is a ladies' hat. The logo is stitched.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah. But also, it seems like a waterproof-y kind of.

SPEAKER_00

I think I think this is a waterproof-y, this is like a sweat-wicking one. This is the classic green hat, classic logo. So on the last episode, we had done this. We were talking about the and I have mine is like a cloth material.

SPEAKER_01

The fabric one is.

SPEAKER_00

I would next time I go, or if I was to gift, I wouldn't do the cloth material.

SPEAKER_01

Because they get dirty and stuff. Forget the dirty.

SPEAKER_00

It's not breathable. Like the material itself is not breathable. And think about the amount of times we're sweating or we're playing or we're just moving around quite a bit.

SPEAKER_01

I wear it casually, so it's perfect for that. I'm not sweating in the floor.

SPEAKER_00

And I feel like these other ones have this in the in the front part, the brim, so it doesn't get dirty. Mine is all white. Oh, it's yeah. Don't look at it. It's dirty. What is yours? Is yours cloth in the front or does it have a color?

SPEAKER_01

It does get dirty.

SPEAKER_00

So see, I like the ones that have this, which is a different material. Anyways, I think it's a preference thing.

SPEAKER_01

You just need to wash it.

SPEAKER_00

What I wanted to tell you guys was this, let's say, it's under$35, this hat.

SPEAKER_01

Here it comes, Carl. Are you ready? We talked about this last part.

SPEAKER_00

The F1 hats, you guys. Same concept, but also like really nice on the inside. This was when Lewis used to drive for Mercedes. This hat, for no apparent reason, is$90. That's right. These hats, like I think they're$32 to$35.

SPEAKER_01

But wait.

SPEAKER_00

Three times as much for this hat as opposed to this hat.

SPEAKER_01

And the US and the US open hat was$60. So it's in between. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

For$102.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, you bought one as a gift for our pal Frankie.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Well, those are about$60,$65.

SPEAKER_00

So all I'm saying is the merch in the merch shop, they do an incredible job at the Masters where it's affordable. So I think what ends up happening, you get so excited. So you end up buying like seven hats. Right? So you it I bought one thing at Miami F1, which was that hat, and for some crazy reason I spent a lot more like a thousand dollars at the masters, which is so stupid.

SPEAKER_01

You brought chairs, you brought mugs.

SPEAKER_00

They have these belt bags.

SPEAKER_01

You just stop for a second.

SPEAKER_00

Mel melt the belt bags are really cute.$38. Cheaper than the Luleman belt bag. The t-shirt, the one I'm wearing, obviously I love about it all the time. But great blue cute great shirt. Do I have the tag on it? I do.$32 for a t-shirt.

SPEAKER_01

That is cheaper than like a regular and the quality is good.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, so where it gets expensive at the Masters is zip-ups.

SPEAKER_01

The half on the zip-ups.

SPEAKER_00

Um, full zips and polos. Um, this is a women's really beautiful. And this one, what's your guess on this? That t-shirt was$32.

SPEAKER_01

$150.

SPEAKER_00

Whoa!$145.

SPEAKER_01

Listen.

SPEAKER_00

So I know this is expensive. So the polos will be, you know, under$200, but along the same price. Along the same. Um, what else do I have? Oh, I love my rich white lady hat.

SPEAKER_01

I just go Cheyenne calls it the rich white lady hat.

SPEAKER_00

But just like look how good it is.

SPEAKER_01

A rich colored lady would not wear the hat. No, they would.

SPEAKER_00

But it's but I just like, I mean, all you see at the Masters is a rich white lady, and that's what she's wearing. Yeah, they're all are.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Um, so I I love it's a great sun hat, but this is like$90. This was probably the most expensive hat that I bought there. I wanted to show you. Let's show you.

SPEAKER_01

Should be hi, Shuggy. We're talking Masters Girl.

SPEAKER_00

March, Masters, March, Suggy. Suggy. I love this bag. It's so big.

SPEAKER_01

Should be do you want the bag? We'll send it over. I mean, it's gigantic. We could probably put you in it.

SPEAKER_00

This is almost like a I've used it as a carry-on before. That bag. I've used packed because it had so much stuff and my personal stuff, and I use that thing as a carry-on.

SPEAKER_01

I remember everybody used it as a carry-on, and I thought that was crazy.

SPEAKER_00

I love this bag as well. This bag is really beautiful.

SPEAKER_01

Little quilt, a little quilt. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, so this bag folds up and it becomes a pouch this big. And that pouch is what I have all of like my YouTube stuff, like my mics and things in. So this bag folds into that little bag. So it's like two bags in one. I thought it was.

SPEAKER_01

This is a big, this is a bit like a granny bag, a little bit like the with the quilt and the white and the flowers. But listen, it's a nice little beach bag. It's a great beach bag. And I do like that there's a zipper on the top.

SPEAKER_00

They have different colors, I think, every year. This was a bit expensive too.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Um, but it's you've got all your sports stuff that you're calling. It's great.

SPEAKER_00

It fits a lot of stuff in there. And then this is what my brother would love and wear all the time. He's a big tote guy. Yeah, just it just a classic tote. Classic tote. Every day they have different toasts with different sayings. So I got lucky. I love my pimento cheese leaderboard and badges. Those are the three things like the Masters is known for. So I love this one. I have cute little like things on it. It's really use and abuse. I use this quite a bit. Um, you want to show them the golf balls?

SPEAKER_01

I want to show them the golf balls. Those are some of my favorites.

SPEAKER_00

This was one second. This was um Limited? Every yeah, limited edition. Every year they have a limited edition set of golf balls that comes out. And so this year, the year Rory one, which was last year.

SPEAKER_01

I would not want to use these golf balls because I wouldn't.

SPEAKER_00

No, they're so cute. I mean, I don't use them.

SPEAKER_01

Maybe at a pitch and putt. Or maybe at a putt putt.

SPEAKER_00

So it's actually had the tag in here.$68 for$70 for three.

SPEAKER_01

Four sleeves?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, four sleeves for a box. Uh$70 for a box of um titles pro vs. Each one has.

SPEAKER_01

I understand are good balls, right? Very, very good balls. The packaging obviously is very cute.

SPEAKER_00

You guys, each ball has a different logo on it. So that is their peach ice cream sandwich, which I think is actually love a peach, love an ice cream sandwich, love it all. But it's two cookies with an uh with the ice cream in the middle.

SPEAKER_01

Yum.

SPEAKER_00

It's too sweet. I said it. I went there, I said it, it's way too sweet. I would love just the ice cream. The peach is. No, but peach ice cream, no, it's too sweet.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

And then there's the classic bag of chips that they have. Um, and then they have the pimento cheese sandwich, which is on that one. And on um, so they had four sleeves, and each sleeve had like, let's say, three pimento cheese sandwich balls. I've just mixed and matched.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, you mixed and matched it. Okay.

SPEAKER_00

And then the last one is the classic cup. And speaking about the cups, another item that's free at the masters, little keepsake cups.

SPEAKER_01

Well, no, you probably buy a drink.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, but the drink is like$1.52.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, it's$25, like at the other tournament.

SPEAKER_00

If you're drinking alcohol, you will get a green cup. If you're not drinking alcohol, you'll get a clear cup like this. So they have like Power Aids, sodas, um, water bottles.

SPEAKER_01

They also It's because they've kept the pricing from when it first started, which is why like an egg salad sandwich is like$1.50 still.

SPEAKER_00

Incredible. Yes. So these are really great, super fun. I'm trying to think of the last item I can show you before I tell you what was not good.

SPEAKER_01

Uh-oh.

SPEAKER_00

Well, you said every every company should be able to do things that they can work on, right?

SPEAKER_01

Sure.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. So the masters, they they haven't really missed too much. Their hospitality, I've worked in professional sports for 15 years and in in hospitality specific, specifically with high-end like net worth individuals. That was my um, that was my job.

SPEAKER_01

You're 14.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that was my job and my uh, yeah, exactly. What I was very good at doing. And so I when I went to the masters, I was like, usually I can pinpoint there's a where there's a lack of it. And I was like, wow, they haven't skipped a beat. From the restrooms, there are literally these amazing women that their sole job is to make sure that the restrooms constantly are flowing and are clean. They wipe every countertop. Wow, it's like, oh, it's a well-oiled machine. They did, they're incredible. The lines move fast for food. It's just so well done. No cash, everything is tapped.

SPEAKER_01

No notes. So that's what the kids are saying. No notes. Do you know those?

SPEAKER_00

No, but there is notes.

SPEAKER_01

Oh shit.

SPEAKER_00

So heads up, because everyone now taps with their phone, you actually need to actually have your credit card with you. So heads up on that one. So don't forget.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, you can't tap because I tap everywhere. You need a physical card. Because? Because no phones. I keep forgetting I would not do well here. Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Bring a credit card. Also let your credit card company know in advance that you will be at the masters. Yes, because they've blocked people and they've had to go on the side, and then the retail people have helped them call their Amex and tell them to release it. Correct. Two things that the masters, in my very humble opinion, so humble need to work on or whatever.

SPEAKER_01

We just need to improve, right?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, improve. Number one. Oh in merch, in the world of merch, I bought this sweater, which I was the mo hoodie.

SPEAKER_01

You were very excited about this.

SPEAKER_00

Big size. Oh, it's just like everything you've ever wanted. Nice big logo. It was soft when I bought it. I wore it.

SPEAKER_01

Is it not soft anymore?

SPEAKER_00

It's still kind of soft.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I wore it twice. Twice. Nice. I wore it, I think once, and you could start to see the peeling happening a little peeling or whatever. Fumpta is what we say in my language. And then I washed it once, and you guys it's fully peeled. It looks like you cannot see it. Yeah, it's looks like it's fine. But you know those machines where you need to do it to get all the peeling machines. This whole sweater.

SPEAKER_01

Did you use it? The machine?

SPEAKER_00

No, because I'm like, who I don't have time to be going through a whole sweater in every angle to get this. It really did. It's really bad. Yeah.

unknown

Oh.

SPEAKER_00

So we just need to change the, they just need to like get a better quality. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

That's all.

SPEAKER_00

So that's number one for um for let's upgrade.

SPEAKER_01

Upgrade. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

This shirt that I love, this shirt, the the shirt, this I have gotten this tailored. It used to go down towards my knees essentially.

SPEAKER_01

Is it a women's shirt?

SPEAKER_00

Yes. The length of the shirt was like from top to like my knees. I when we were in athletics, okay. Same thing though.

SPEAKER_01

The pilling, yeah. It's pilling everywhere.

SPEAKER_00

So their their cotton quality is almost uh So hopefully that they have fixed that or someone's complained, because I haven't complained.

SPEAKER_01

We will be attending next year from the sidelines, from the sidelines to figure it out. In their media box to figure it out.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, and then the last thing that I would say that the masters can work. I really appreciate the food prices. So I'm never gonna argue with that. Coming, like, you know, everyone has humble beginnings and stuff. So even just their egg and their egg salad sandwich,$1.50. It's so nice not to feel like half of your bank accounts going on food and then the other half is going to merge. So I respect them. I love everything about that. Only thing is there is no variety in terms of food options if you don't eat beef or pork.

SPEAKER_01

I would be hooped.

SPEAKER_00

As a vegetarian, you would only be able to eat your egg salad. Yeah. And they're and if you don't like the pimento cheese, like you only have egg salad. You are there now, remember, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. So for your breakfast, for your lunch, and your midday sack, how many egg salad sandwiches can you have?

SPEAKER_01

They don't have more things. No.

SPEAKER_00

So everything they have chicken biscuit sandwiches in the morning, very like Georgia. You know, you'd want to have um, they have like an egg bacon situation. Everything has like beef or pork in it. Again, if you're a vegetarian, what if you're a vegan?

SPEAKER_01

You can't even do the egg salad salad. No, you can't go.

SPEAKER_00

If you're vegan, God bless you.

SPEAKER_01

Do not go.

SPEAKER_00

If you're vegan, you have apples, a banana, I don't know. You can't even have their muffin. Um, you have popcorn, and they have like a thing of nuts, but all of those are quite like small snack itemy types.

SPEAKER_01

I know someone online that likes popcorn.

SPEAKER_00

Anyways, my only request to Augusta National and the Masters is we would love, we, as in maybe me and some other people.

SPEAKER_01

Maybe a lot of other people would like some variety. Also, where's the fiber? If it's just like sandwiches and stuff.

SPEAKER_00

No fiber, it's white.

SPEAKER_01

It's in the apples.

SPEAKER_00

Bread. The white bread. If you're also going for like multiple days and that's all you're eating, it's white bread for three days straight.

SPEAKER_01

This is why the toilets are very busy.

SPEAKER_00

They're cleaned.

SPEAKER_01

Actually, they're not busy because you're backed up. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_00

So that's my only like, you know, every, like you said, every um job or company should always want to get better. And there's always places to improve. So it was the peeling in the shirts of ready of foods. Yeah, just like a I don't know what that looks like for them. I I know that people would love a box salad, just like any kind of greens would be so nice.

SPEAKER_01

You know what white people are. I would love soup too. You know what white people love? A salad. And the fact that this tournament is predominantly white attendee played all of it. How have they not provided the white people with salad? They provided them with popcorn, which they also love.

SPEAKER_00

Well, we love popcorn too. But no, we love the fruit, but no salad. That's my only two cents. But I think that because they go through so much food and so many people come, that they also have to make sense. Everything is made on property on ground. So I know it's maybe a logistical thing or and they also don't like like trash everywhere. There, it's like pristine. It's like something you've never seen. So I'm thinking, is it because it's gonna make too much noise, a salad with the you know, like a plastic box? If you were to, is it gonna make noise? Is it gonna be left around? It's like it's the Masters is really made for TV. When you watch it on TV, you won't see a wrapper, uh, anything, a water bottle, nothing is out of order. And if it is, people are like in three seconds on it. There's just gonna be some creative people in the food and beverage industry that must figure out how they can do that. How can they do that? And to that, cheers.

SPEAKER_01

This was a very long this was a very long ramble, but I really hope that you have a great time.

SPEAKER_00

Let me know if any of these tips help you. If you want a lot more detail, like I've mentioned to you before.

SPEAKER_01

More detail.

SPEAKER_00

If they want more detail, I have my different YouTube videos on the masters. Make sure you go and watch those. Thank you. If you've stayed all the way to the end of this podcast, I really appreciate it because this one's an hour and 10 minutes. And we just appreciate you guys tuning in and joining us bi-weekly. Oh, on Wednesdays, can you bring your phone? Oh, thank you so much for being in the comments. You cannot bring your phone any of the days.

SPEAKER_01

No phone.

SPEAKER_00

When?

SPEAKER_01

Every day. Every day. Three days, no phone day at the Masters. This is what I've learned. What you can bring is your digital camera, the one you don't have, and the one you used to have, the one that you got rid of that you then had to ask your uncle for, and he dug it up, and then you take it.

SPEAKER_00

So And only one day are you only allowed to bring your digital camera.

SPEAKER_01

The first two days.

SPEAKER_00

Incorrect.

SPEAKER_01

That's incorrect. I didn't pay attention at all. The first day, the Thursday. The Wednesday.

SPEAKER_00

Bun, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, the practice rounds. You're only allowed to bring the digital camera in with you on the practice round days, which is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. In golf, the tournament starts on Thursday. How can I even that in?

SPEAKER_01

Can you get me to understand that? Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Digicam.

SPEAKER_00

Thursday onward.

SPEAKER_01

Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, nothing.

SPEAKER_00

Just show up with the smile. Someone just wrote, oh no, lol, thank you. You're so welcome.

SPEAKER_01

You're so welcome.

SPEAKER_00

But you know what? Even if you tried to bring your phone in, they'll get you in three seconds. It's just excited. There's no way.

SPEAKER_01

In your underwear? How are they putting it on your hands?

SPEAKER_00

What is the point of that?

SPEAKER_01

Oh, right, because you can't really pull it out of your own. What are you gonna do with it in your underwear? I don't know. I just want to see it.

SPEAKER_00

Would you ever want to get kicked out of the masters? It's so hard to get in. And just get rid of your phone. It's the most freeing experience ever.

SPEAKER_01

You mean I have to be with my mind?

SPEAKER_00

It's so fun. So last thing I'll leave you with is they have old school, like you know how in London they have the London, oh, oh, that's a post box. The London booths. Like, you know how they have phone booths. So in certain parts of the golf course, they have it's not a single booth. There's a bunch of phones where you can call. So if you have your around the anywhere in the world, if you have So you have to have the numbers like written memorized, memorized or written in that piece of paper that I told you of, and you can call. And I ended up calling my parents. I called them the You're like, hello, calling from Augusta. And it says Augusta National when you call. And they're like, hello, hello. I'm like, hi, Ma. I just want to give you a call. This is kind of fun. And that was like the end of that. So that they do have, and you don't have to pay for that. That's also free. You just pick up Dell.

SPEAKER_01

I gotta go. I gotta go. Except the food part. That's gonna be tough.

SPEAKER_00

But but we will figure out a way for the food part. So thank you again for tuning in. We will see you on Thursday.

SPEAKER_01

Happy Easter Monday.

SPEAKER_00

Happy Easter Monday. I hope you guys have a beautiful week. We'll see you on Thursday with more sports, entertainment, and culture updates. And gossip for the tea. On that note, give me one last ching ching.

SPEAKER_01

One last cheers.

SPEAKER_00

Enjoy the masters. Bye.
